I just wanted to show one of the comic sketches I made, like, a week ago or so. Just finished the clean lines and "coloring" yesterday.

I was testing how it would look if I went the good old manga-way with black and white pages— Yeah, no, it looks like total shit. I'll definitely use colors in the future (ᵕ—ᴗ—)

2016 me: gosh I REALLY want Thomas to see my sides art. why do these other really big artists get so much attention from him? Why is there so much competition between the big and small artists? Why am I struggling to improve? Is my art just bad? Do other people think my art is bad? Is it not worth anyone's attention?

Also we don't talk nearly enough about how competitive it was a few years ago in the fanart part of the fandom. I've met some absolute rancid people who took so much pride in the fact Thomas sees their art regularly. Get off your high horse it just makes your art look shitty because I know the person behind it.

Both Nobara and the blonde witch (Momo?) make good points about the role of women in this Jujutsu society. Momo points out that power is not enough for them, that that which is good enough for men isn't for women, that they are held to higher standards, and for them scars aren't badges of honour as they are for men, but make them undesirable and damaged goods.

And then there's Nobara, pointing out those are sexist standards one doesn't have to adhere to, that it's on them for playing by the rules and having those exigences in mind. That she likes clothes and looking pretty, but for herself, she doesn't expect it from others or respect more someone who does as well if they don't want to, like she likes Maki but dislikes Mai. And she too is right! It's true that adhering to those exigences perpetuates the standards! But what she says doesn't negate what Momo says, which is the fact that, yeah, okay, it sucks, but that's how it is and not playing by the rules just makes everything harder. And harder still for someone like Mai (or Maki) to whom perfection isn't just the goal, but the very starting point being people from one of the main clans. So she can understand and defend Mai's position and approach to the problem, as Nobara understands and defends Maki's.

This all gains layers of complexity and juiciness considering Momo and Mai are Utahime's students and Todo's classmates. I am sure the manga won't go there, but wow is it intriguing how Utahime's situation may have influenced their views. What a pity the manga won't go there

You know probably think it's so impressive I'm doing so many comics for dishonored (no body said that) but listen I'm gonna be real with you guys.

I have no idea what I'm doing and I'm scared to do illustrations because my rendering skills are AWFUL and I never learnt any vital fundamentals and all my skills are built on SCAMS and I'm having an artist identity crisis and comics are the only thing keeping me sane bc for me there's less thinking involved after you thumbnailed it and LISTEN I HAD TO CONFESS. 2. i'm not really much for modding in general, haha. isn't that one something for DOOM? i have no experience with doom either but maybe someday [dont count on it]; i feel like if you get into doom it's just natural to get into the goofy mods along with it

3. i do not care abt any of that 🔥🔥💯🔥💪🔥 when and if we get any official announcements for more projects direct from the tour de pizza team i'll look into it, but until then there's still plenty to chew through right now.

in my case, i'm far more interested in the game's past than its future; my actual ultimate hope for more More Content:tm: in pizza circles is them expanding the base game with stuff that got cut during development, since there was so much of it. the mansion? the heat meter? unused transformations? betas of these things literally exist and are still functional and playable; and with the structure of pizza tower being as loose as it is i wouldn't think it'd be hard to add a new floor, or just an extra level or two to existing floors. even just looking through sprite archives and seeing unused peppino attack animations im like man these don't look like they fit the current combat system but i'd fucking love to see them in the context of like a wrestling level or something

but anyway i realize this is kind of a pipe dream so in the meantime i just comb through debug mode to explore what there used to be and crash my game every 20 seconds :^) [space pinball cannot hide from me forever i WILL find a way through.... i haven't actually booted debug since the noise update though i hope all the old maps and shit are still there :x

there's also the old demos and builds to sniff out but i've been lazier about getting to those because frankly they all feel like ass compared to how the final game handles fjgfjkgfgf

if there WERE to be be a sequel to pizza tower or something else in its universe, i would definitely want a different cast; or at least a different protagonist. peppino's tale feels very neatly wrapped up and i really like his ending as-is.

sometimes i forget just how badly the tories have underfunded the nhs and then you spend an hour on hold with 111 to talk to someone who says theyre organising an emergency doctor appointment and that youll get a call within the hour. then you get the call two hours later and the next emergency doctor appointment is in about eight hours at 8pm.

and youre like wow, fuck you rishi sunak. and then you remember that the sentiment is pretty tame considering this whole thing is about chest pains and breathing problems for someone who is asthmatic and was hospitalised for covid, pneumonia and fluid on the lung and had to be on a ventilator for several days, and that happened within the last few months.

oh and then you remember that you did this whole same song and dance the day they were hospitalised where they ended up having to be driven to the hospital independently of the ambulance service because the wait time was six hours.

and then youre just blind with rage for a bit.
