How Monarch's Are Chosen

So it's a pretty accepted headcanon that the title of King (or queen even) is won via fighting the previous King/Queen. But what if instead of being a strict right-of-conquest type thing, it was like handed down like most monarchies as well as a right-of-conquest. As in if there's no one next in line for the crown, it's a right-of-conquest type deal. Groups can fight for the title and decide among themselves who deserves the title out of the ones that fought the battle. That's why none of the Observers were crowned, they couldn't decide who deserved the title most and thought they'd have more time to debate.

When Danny, his friends, and his rogues fought Pariah and won, none of them wanted the crown. But most of them decided that Danny would be a fair king and would have less time to keep them in check. Or in Skulker's case it made Danny a higher value target. You also can't just say no when offered the crown, so Danny eventually becomes king.

Something no one thought about though? This would make his sister/cousin/children/spouse royalty too. Dani is now technically next in line and she's going to use her new found status to her advantage.

I think that Roy probably bites more but usually for self defense, if we're talking who's more violent though its definitely Lesley. She's pretty physical and very much enjoys roughhousing. She will grab, shove or even hit teachers if she feels the urge to do so.

stephanie hsu was robbed. fight with the air if you disagree, because i am not listening. she did not pour her heart and soul into that role, wrenching out ours in the process for you to deny her her dues.

Also, the whole thing about her flaw is "She can't accept defeat and prides herself on being undefeated" is true. This is so obvious with the Radahn fight and when the player fights her. When she fought with Radahn, she used her Scarlet Rot Bloom because that was the only way she was going to leave that battle alive. When we fight her, right before the boss battle begins, she says, "And I have never known defeat." She prides herself on being undefeated and has such confidence she's going to win this battle. Then, the cutscene before her second phase starts she uses the Scarlet Rot Bloom and becomes the Goddess of Rot because she refuses to be defeated. Malenia will fight tooth and nail to ensure she is the victor, even if that means fighting dirty. I am sure this is also probably due to her wanting to protect Miquella and wanting to be there for when he returns, but her flaw is being arrogant.

I think in game it's kind of presented that Julie Farkas thinks poorly of, if not outright dislikes, the Great Khans which I guess is fair enough but also reeks of the attitude of the writers viewing drug addicts and raiders as subhuman. And I don't think really it lines up with either the Khan/Follower relationship depicted in game nor does it Follow Julie's reestablished personality. I think she's a little exasperated with them but not enough to warrent the "who? Oh you mean those raiders who used to clash with the vegas tribes 🙄" line that she has about them like cmon girl 1) people are like your only allies outside of Freeside and 2) why are you taking the Three Families side in this??? They're causing just as many if not more issues than the Khans even Arcade has lines about how the Families are exploiting Freeside and I can't think who else she means by "vegas tribes" Anyway. It does make sense for her to be annoyed with how they're causing more drug problems in Freeside but i don't think it makes sense for her to be written in a way that makes it sounds like she's angry with the Khans for *using their precious medical knowledge to make the evil morphine rather than the morally good morphine* when really she should be more angry with House/The Families for causing the poverty in Freeside and the NCR for forcing the Khans into the precarious position they're in while disallowing the Followers from truly helping them. The fact that by the time that Fnv comes around the Followers and NCR's relationship has broken down should be enough for the Followers to revisit relations with the Khans since, as I said, the Khans have been the only truly consistent allies of the Followers and more importantly, the NCR JUST MURDERED ALL THEIR CHILDREN.
