Tim Bradford x reader
Warnings: 18+, mdni!, smut, secret relationship
Word Count: 751
Authors Note: Helloooo, I'm currently obsessing over Tim Bradford. I just recently started the rookie, and I love it already.
Anyways, have fun!
"He shouldn't have attacked you." Tim murmured, still looking forward as you waited for the captain to continue.
Rolling your eyes you looked at him through your peripheral vision. "I can defend myself." you gave back, straightening your back slightly.
A possible murderer had attacked you when you wanted to handcuff him. Your head still hurt a little from him smacking his against yours.
"I know." he returned. "Otherwise you wouldn’t have been able to defeat me in training yesterday."
The memory made you smile to yourself. Though you were still a rookie, you had managed to defeat him in yesterday's training.
"There's definitely something going on between them."
Though Lucy tried to whisper, you still heard her from your spot. They stood a few feet away, curiously watching.
Barely holding back from rolling your eyes again you rocked on your heel. How long would it take for them to make a decision?
"Takeout tonight?" Tim wanted to know quietly, his thumbs hooked in the waistband of his slacks.
Nodding you agreed. "Your treat?" Sighing he nodded as well. "Why not."
Grinning to yourself you contemplated what to eat, when the captain and Grey left the captains office. "Your dismissed." she said, nodding to you two.
Thanking her you separated, as you walked towards Lucy, Jack and John.
"It's not." you told Lucy, to what she looked at you questioningly. "There's nothing going on between officer Bradford and me."
He smiled devilishly, as he pushed you against your apartments door, his breath fanning over your face as his lips met yours.
"Yeah, tell that the looks he's giving you." Lucy returned, cocking one eyebrow. "You're like an old married couple."
Shaking your head you huffed.
"No, you know that it wouldn't be allowed." you spoke, well knowing what happened between her and John - only a fool wouldn't see.
Stumbling towards your bedroom his lips never left yours, only as he pulled your shirt over your head, discarding it on the floor, joining his.
"I don't think that Bradford would be her type." Jackson said like you weren't there, shaking his head. "He's married." you gave back, your brows knitted together.
"The divorce is almost done with." Lucy threw in, shrugging her shoulders. "No, guys, there is nothing going on." you insisted, eyes widening slightly. "Nothing at all."
You moaned loudly, as he fucked you into the mattress. The power he pounded into you with matched the one in training. He was relentless. His lips kissed down your throat, as you exposed it when your head tilted backwards from the pleasure he brought to you.
John only smiled slightly at your conversation, having his fair share with what you were talking about.
"But it just-" Lucy was searching for the right words, her hands gesturing wildly. "You guys just seem so close!"
Cocking a brow you looked at her, contemplating if you should shake her to make her forget that thought.
You had to be more careful, if you wanted to keep things hidden.
Moaning his name you came, hard. He followed closely behind you, face buried in your neck. Breathing heavily you felt the weight of his body above you, it's heat radiating off of it.
His familiar cologne mixed with sweat, his hair faintly smelling of shampoo. You came to love it over the past few months of your arrangement.
"Can we talk about something else?" you almost pleaded, done with them snooping in your private life.
Huffing, Lucy shook her head. "I will be on the lookout." she warned, smiling to herself. "I will find out whatever it is you two are hiding."
Smiling back at her you tilted your head. "What makes you think you will find something?" you asked her, silently hoping she wouldn't find anything.
"Nah, I still don't believe there is something going on." Jackson cut in, before Lucy could reply. You almost chuckled at his naivety.
Still breathing heavily you lay beside Tim, not ready to get back up yet. "What do you say-" he started, sitting more upright to look at you. "about a round two after dinner?"
Chuckling you rolled your eyes, his grin sending goosebumps up you bare arms. "Only if I get dessert afterwards." Shaking his head he huffed. "And here I thought I was the dessert."
"Rookies!" Grey shouted, making you flinch. "Are you getting payed for gossiping? Get back to work!"
You all nodded, mumbling a "yes, sir.", before scurrying in different directions.
If they only knew.

Still Her Favorite
Mean!Mommy!Wanda x Puppy!G!P!Reader
After a day of misbehaving, Wanda stays home from work to punish her puppy, and her best friend Natasha decides to join.
CW: Puppy stuff (collars, ears, tails, etc.), plugs, mentions of spanking as punishment, cock shame, humiliation, teasing, safe word discussion, ignoring as punishment, illusions of cheating, jealousy, haha Natasha’s dick is bigger than yours
Word Count: 3k
A/N: Once again not the fic I promised but I’m working on it. Listening something washed over me this afternoon.
A/N: I’m going to be honest, I super don’t love this. But perfectionism is a demon that kills my ability to create, and I’d rather publish a bad fic than lose a good one to the demons.
“Now what brings a precious little puppy like this into the office today?” Natasha asked, circling Wanda’s desk to find you at her feet.
“She was being terribly naughty at home alone, yesterday. Sometimes mommy’s long hours in the office have her thinking she can get away with certain things,” Wanda explained, making no move to look at you while she was talking about you. Her ignoring you was your least favorite punishment by far. You could handle the spankings, the teasing, the humiliation, even the denial. But when mommy stopped talking to you or even looking at you, it was sheer agony.
Natasha smirked. She knew when Tony had said her best friend had requested to work from home today because she “had a new puppy that she had to take care of,” she had to come visit Wanda’s home office. And you did not disappoint.
You could’ve almost cried from embarrassment, kneeling in a dog bed at Wanda’s feet in nothing more than a pink collar and your puppy ears. There was a chain leash attached to your collar that Wanda had tucked mindlessly around her wrist. Your neglected cock was desperately hard between your legs, dribbling little bits of precum onto the fluffy fabric underneath you.
Natasha was surprised to find you weren’t wearing a tail, as that was typically one of Wanda’s staples. “No tail today, puppy?” She questioned. Unlike Wanda, she did look at you when she spoke. You wished she wouldn’t. Her green eyes sent shivers down your spine. You wanted Wanda’s attention, not hers. You didn’t answer.
“No tail today,” Wanda sighed, answering for you. She finally looked down at you with a harsh glare. “Do you wanna tell Tasha why you don’t have your tail in today, puppy?” The look she sent you cast your eyes onto the floor. It was bone chilling. When you didn’t answer, she prompted you further. “Where was your tail when I got home yesterday? Was it in your ass, where good girls keep their tails?”
“No,” you admitted shamefully, barely above a whisper.
“No it wasn’t, was it?” She scolded, returning her attention back to her work. You cursed yourself for not being able to keep eye contact. Maybe if she could see the pained look in your eye, she’d cut the punishment short and skip to the cuddles you so desperately needed.
Natasha's eyes lit up in surprise. You were typically so well behaved for Wanda. She couldn’t help but feel a spike of arousal at the thought of Wanda coming home to find you without your tail. Oh how she would’ve loved to watch that punishment. She couldn’t exactly see your ass from how you were sitting, but she was willing to bet it was covered in delicious little welts and bruises.
“You wanna show Tasha the pretty plug you’ve got in today, instead?” Wanda asked, wiggling her heel under your ass and forcing you up. Natasha stood expectantly next to Wanda as she forced you forward onto all four. You whimpered as you caught yourself on your elbows.
Natasha's suspicions were immediately confirmed when she saw your welted ass, clearly spanked raw. She wondered if Wanda had gone as far as using the cane on you last night. Oh how you would’ve cried. She felt herself growing hard at just the thought.
Wanda pressed the point of her shoe into your balls, wiggling her foot to provide friction. “Spread your ass for Tasha so she can see your pretty plug.”
You did as she asked, reaching back with both hands to better reveal the pink plug stuffed inside of you. “Mommy’s Girl” was written across the base in fancy lettering. The maneuver forced you onto your shoulders, face resting against your dog bed.
Natasha reached her hand down to touch you, stopping to look at Wanda, who nodded in approval. She pushed on the base of the plug forcing it further into your ass.
It was the biggest one Wanda had ever had you wear by a pretty wide margin. You’d cried when she put it in this morning, and the cruel sting had barely faded throughout the day. The simple sensation of Natasha’s hand was almost enough to have you in tears again.
“She’s a little sensitive, aren’t you, puppy? You’ve never had anything that big in your little ass before have you?” Wanda explained, moving her foot so the point of her shoe lightly caressed your shaft.
You shook your head into the soft fabric of the dog bed, holding back tears. The sensation of the two women’s hands on you, toying with you cruelly, was terribly overwhelming.
“Mommy’s dirtying her favorite shoes for you puppy,” Wanda smirked sadistically, nearly laughing at how pathetic you looked on the ground in front of her. She could tell the contact, after a morning of neglect, was overwhelming you. “What do you say?”
“Thank you mommy!” You cried, muffled by the plush bed your face was forced in to. “And thank you Natty for playing with my ass!”
Natasha inspected you carefully, running her hands over the raw swell of your ass. She didn’t stop when you winced and whimpered at the harsh contact she made with your sensitive skin. She leaned forward, peeking her head under you to get a better look at your cock.
She was consistently surprised by how small you were, especially in comparison to her. Even as hard as you were, your cock couldn’t have been a full 5 inches long. You weren’t terribly thick either, thinner, even in proportion, than she was. “Poor puppy,” she cooed teasingly. “I bet you can’t even please your mommy with a dick that little, can you?”
You naïvely expect Wanda might chime in on your behalf, but when she just laughed, your face burned red. You wanted her to defend you: tell Natasha that even though it was small, you had the sweetest, prettiest cock in the universe and she loved it. Sure she had to put you in a sleeve sometimes when she fucked you, but you were more than capable of getting her off. She loved your little cock, even if it was small.
But she said nothing of the sort. She simply laughed like Natty had told a silly joke.
You heard the undoing of a belt buckle behind you, and then your head was pulled back up by the leash. “Come here, honey,” Natasha instructed, motioning for you to stand up. “Let’s see how you measure up.”
You looked to Wanda, hoping she would come to your rescue, but she simply raised her eyebrows expectantly. For once, you found you didn’t want to leave your puppy bed.
You clambered to your feet, finding yourself face to face, dick to dick with Natasha Romanov. You blushed fiercely, looking down at the space between you. Where Natasha’s shaft stood proud at 9 inches, yours was a lousy 4 ½. Not to mention hers was twice as thick, ridged with strong veins up to the tip. It wasn’t so much that you were jealous of her, you just wished you hadn’t looked so puny in comparison. Maybe if you were 6 or 7 inches, this wouldn’t be such a humiliating display. Even if you just had a little more girth, her dick wouldn’t make yours look like a child’s in comparison.
Instead you stood there, eyes wide as you stared down at her, simply unable to speak. You wanted to defend yourself in some way, but what was there to defend? Her dick was superior to yours in every way. At least you were largely hairless in comparison. Then again, that just made you look more juvenile.
Natasha laughed at the stunned look on your face. “Wanda, I don’t think your sweet little puppy has ever seen a real cock before.”
Much to your chagrin, Wanda laughed too. “No, Tasha. I think it’s only ever been silicone and the pathetic little thing she’s got between her legs.”
Natasha moved to stand next to Wanda, who looked up at her, amused, from her desk chair. You watched in horror as she dropped your leash and grabbed Natasha shaft, placing a light kiss to the tip. “Don’t be rude, puppy. Tell Tasha what a pretty cock she has.”
“You-you have a very pretty cock Natty,” you stammered.
She smiled back at you condescendingly. “Thank you, puppy.”
“Now go lay down,” Wanda instructed, watching you pad over to your bed. You got back on your knees, helpless to do anything but watch the scene before you unfold.
“You truly do have quite the impressive member here,” Wanda said in faux sincerity. She lazily ten her tongue around Natasha’s tip in between sentences. “Maybe I’ll get a cast of it, for when I start to miss you. I could even get my sweet puppy to wear it as a sleeve, so she can feel what it’s like to have a real cock.”
“The poor puppy,” Natasha teasingly cooed, looking down at Wanda, “can she even get you off with that little thing?”
Wanda smirked, running her tongue up the underside of Natasha’s dick. “I have better luck getting off with a toy up that pretty ass of hers,” she teased. “I don’t even have to touch it most of the time. The little thing goes twitching and spurting all on its own.”
Natasha growled. “God, I’d love to watch her cry on my cock. Poor thing probably wouldn’t make it halfway down before the tears started flowing.”
Wanda chuckled again, continuing to lazily pump her hand against Natasha’s groin. “That will truly be a show. I can find a way to keep her mouth occupied, should she put up too much of a fuss.”
The two women continued talking, laughing at each other’s jokes, seemingly enriched in the conversation. All while Wanda casually played with Natasha’s perfect dick. And, most importantly, they never sparred you so much as a glance.
They talked about you, briefly. But the conversation soon shifted to other topics: work, travel plans, antidotes from the past. They seemed to go on and on in a jovial little conversation you were not invited to be a part of.
You whined and whimpered from your bed, jealousy boiling up inside of you, but you didn’t dare leave your bed. Even in a jealous rage, you knew the rules. You wouldn’t speak and you wouldn’t leave your bed until Wanda told you to.
You tried to remind yourself Wanda was just playing. You’d talked about this several times before. Natasha was by no means a new and unexpected addition to your sex life. But something about the way Wanda was genuinely smiling up at Natasha, her perfect dick in Wanda’s nicely manicured hand, made it feel like more than playing. You found yourself crying, tears falling down your cheeks as you tried to get their attention.
You were practically jumping around your bed, seconds away from running up and pushing Natasha away, when she finally said “Tony will be expecting me back. I told him I’d only be gone an hour or so.”
“Okay,” Wanda sighed. “I’ll see you tomorrow. If I can get the little one to behave. Love ya.”
Natasha zipped up her pants, shoving her hard on back down in her underwear. “Love ya. I’ll see you tomorrow.” And then, with all the audacity in the world, she bent down and gave Wanda a little peck on the lips.
When Natasha finally left the room, Wanda finally tapped her lap and whistled for you to come. You ran to her, nearly sending her rolling chair across the room with the impact. She caught you in her arms, gently petting the back of your head. “Shhh puppy, mommy’s got you. You’re okay.”
You whined pathetically in her lap, pawing at her shirt and leaning back to look her in the eyes. “You were just playing with Natty, right? You don’t really like her cock better, do you? Mine is still your favorite, right? Even though it’s little and maybe not so… pleasurable as hers, it’s still your favorite? Please tell me it’s still your favorite.”
Wanda giggled, calmly coddling you into her while you cried. “Of course your cock is still my favorite, baby. I was just playing with Tasha, puppy. Remember what I told you? I don’t like playing with her like I play with you. You're my special little puppy and no one is ever going to change that.”
“And-and you didn’t like kissing her either because I’m your favorite person to kiss and you were just playing when you did that,” you rambled.
Wanda eyebrows lifted in surprise. She straight up made out with Natasha in front of before for your enjoyment. She was surprised the little kiss set you off so bad. “Of course, love,” she said, pulling you into a kiss. “You’re my absolutely favorite person to kiss.”
“You promise?” You pleaded “Even though she’s bigger, and… and her cock is perfect. And she’s prettier than I am…”
You were interrupted by Wanda grabbing your face. “Hey,” she said firmly, “you’re talking about my special puppy right now and we’re not gonna use words like that, okay? Sweetheart, if it was really bothering you to watch me and Tasha like that, I need you to use your safe word, okay? I’m only playing, honey. And I can only do that if I know that you’re okay.”
You nodded. “I-I like watching you play with Natty, but you were pretending like I didn’t exist and I got a little scared that you forgot…” you explained. “You weren’t even holding my leash. You just… left it on the ground!”
“Oh sweet girl,” she soothed, “of course mommy didn’t forget about you, baby. We were putting on a little show special for you, sweetheart.”
“I know, I know,” you cried. “I was trying really hard to remember. But you were just so happy with her, and-and… I thought maybe you liked her better than me!”
“Would you have felt better sitting in mommy’s lap?” She asked, trying to problem solve this venture for the future.
You nodded. Everything is better when you can hold onto mommy.
She chuckled. “Okay, baby. How about this: next time you need my lap you just give my clothes a little tug. You won’t get in trouble for leaving your bed. If you start to feel any bad feelings, you can feel free to crawl up in my lap. Or, can you remind me of our word we use we use when we have to take a little pause and talk about something?”
“Y-yellow,” you responded.
“That’s right!” She praised. “You’re such a smart puppy. Can you promise you’ll use that next time we’re playing and you start to not feel so good?”
You nodded. “Yes mommy, I promise.”
“Good girl,” she cooed. “Remember that even during your punishments, you have the right to interrupt if something doesn’t feel right, okay. Not everything is supposed to feel good, but it’s never supposed to be too much.”
You nodded against her, wrapping your arms around her possessively.
She let you sit like that for a minute, cooing over how much she loved you, before tucking your head into her neck and wheeling back to her desk. She carefully moved her laptop away from the center of the desk, lifting you up and setting you down in its place. You hissed as your sore ass mad e contact with the hard surface. “Now, how about mommy takes a little break from work to show you how much I love this little cock of yours, and then you can sit on my lap and cuddle until I’m done for the day?”
You nodded, leaning back against the desk, bracing yourself as she spread you out in front of her. She nudged your legs apart, sliding herself between them as she took you in. She places gentle kisses up your thighs, ruining her knuckle lightly against your throbbing shaft. “Such a pretty puppy. You’re still so hard for me angel. Have you been waiting on mommy to take care of you all day?”
You nodded, biting down hard on your lip to keep yourself from whining. Your dick was so beyond hard by this point. It took all of your willpower to stay still on the desk.
She finally took you into her hand, gently massaging the precum from your tip. “Oh angel,” she breathed, licking the thin liquid up as it dripped down your shaft. “This is mommy’s favorite cock, princess. There’s never been a more perfect one in the world.”
“Really?” You squeaked. After an afternoon of neglect, her tongue immediately felt like heaven. You were struggling to keep your head upright, but she wrapped your leash around her hand, forcing you to stay. She looked at you like you were her whole world.
She nodded, slipping the tip of your cock past her lips. You almost immediately jerk at the heavenly sensation, but she was already holding your hips in anticipation. You weren’t known for being a patient puppy. She slid one of your legs up over your shoulders to give her better access.
Her mouth moved rhythmically around your cock, occasionally pulling away to suck on your balls while she stroked you with her hand. She went slow, but not cruelly so. She was taking her time with you because you were important. Because she loved you.
Your hands tightened around the edge of the desk, fingernails digging into the underside of it. “Mommy…” you moaned, straining against the leash.
“Mmm,” she hummed, lip still wrapped around your cock. The good thing about your small size was she could take you in your entirety without much effort. You could feel your tip nearing the back of her throat.
She moved her hands from your balls down to the plug in your ass. She tapped the metal with the tip of her nails, sending vibrations deep inside of you.
You whined. “Mommy it’s gonna hurt….”
“Aww,” she cooed, sloppily kissing down your shaft. “Is it gonna hurt when you cum baby? Is it gonna hurt when your tight little ass clenches around mommy’s big plug?”
You nodded. She pulled on the end of the metal plug, twisting it inside of you. The pain sent shivers up your spine.
“It’s okay, puppy,” she soothed, “Mommy’s right here baby. It’ll only last a little bit and then you’ll get all the cuddles you can ever dream of, okay?”
“O-okay,” you breathed and she sucked sharply on your balls. You closed your eyes and took a deep breath, willing yourself not to orgasm too hard.
But Wanda seemed intent on ruining this plan. She masterfully guided her tongue around your tip before she took you down to the hilt, letting it hit the back of her throat. She switched her attention between fondling your balls and playing with the plug in your ass. It wasn’t long before you were ready to cum.
“You're holding back on mommy, aren’t you? I can feel you all swollen in my mouth. And these little balls are very full, puppy. Don’t you wanna cum for mommy? You’ll feel much better after,” she insisted.
Your bottom lip quivered. “I’m scared, mommy.”
She smirked. She’d never seen you so dedicated to not having an orgasm. Either way, your resistance was futile. She continued to toy with the plug while she skillfully sucked you off. She tightened her hold on the leash.
It wasn’t even a full minute before you were begging. “Mommy. Mommy please. Please mommy I’m gonna cum. Please mommy,” you pleaded.
With one final stroke, you came, spilling down her throat. She was sure to swallow every drop, treating it as if it were a holy thing she’d be loathe to waste.
The pain overshadowed the pleasure almost immediately. Your ass tightened frantically around the plug, futilely attempting to push it out. It hurt worse now than it had going in. You cried out, reaching out to grab any part of her you could.
“Shshshhhh,” she soothed, holding her hand in one of hers while the other stroked your forehead. “You did so good for me, puppy. You’re such a good girl. It’s over now honey. You can have all the cuddles baby.”
She slid back down your body, methodically kissing her way back down your stomach to your now soft dick. She took it into her hands, all shrunken and small, and placed a little kiss to the head. She nuzzled it with her nose. “Mommy’s perfect puppy and her perfect little cock. The softest and the prettiest in the whole entire world.”
“It’s all yours,” you assured, breathlessly. “Nobody else in the world gets to touch it.” You paused before giggling a little bit. “Except for maybe Natty sometimes. But only if mommy says it’s okay.”
She giggled. “That’s right, princess. You’re a smart little puppy.”
You nodded, letting her lift you off the desk and back into her lap. She grabbed a throw blanket from the couch and tossed it over your shoulders, using it to swaddle you into her chest.
You sat astride her lap, arms crossed over your own chest as you nestled into hers. She placed a kiss on your head, rubbing the back of your hair with her thumb.
“Get some rest now, puppy. Mommy’s got work to do.”

Please just the team telling r about HOW MUCH OF A SOFT SPOT AARON HAS FOR THEM like god he’s literally such a grouch to Morgan and prentiss but he kisses the ground you walk on and they’re like BESTIE GET A GRIP HES WRAPPED AROJND YOUR FINGER bc reader is convinced he doesn’t share their feelings and he’s just being polite </3
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
“Guys, please stop. You’re giving me false hope,” you sighed, dropping your hands on your lap. “I know you’re only trying to make me feel better, but honestly this is making me feel worse.”
“False hope? Sweetheart, the man is in love with you,” Derek said.
“No, he’s not.” You pouted.
You regretted ever telling your friends about your crush on Hotch. What you expected was them making fun of you for it. What you got were daily lectures on how your boss had the hots for you.
“He makes you coffee every single morning,” Emily pointed out.
“He’s just being polite!” you argued.
“We arrive here at the same time every day and he has never made one for me.”
“I’m sure there’s an explanation for this,” you said. “Maybe he thinks you won’t like it the way he makes it. But he knows I do, so that’s why he only does it for me.”
“Okay…” Derek spoke again. His eyebrow was raised, showing he had a very good point to add. “What about when you got hurt last week? It was only a scratch on your cheek but Hotch was ready to drive you to a hospital.”
“Now you’re exaggerating!”
“I saw him cupping your cheeks, it’s true!” Emily exclaimed.
“I also saw that,” Spencer, who had just been observing the conversation, added.
“You too, Spence?”
“Sorry.” He lifted his hands up in defense. “I’m only pointing out what I saw.”
You crossed your arms against your chest. There was no way you’d let them get to you. If you let your heart believe that Aaron had feelings for you then it would break even harder. “He’s like this with all of us.”
Emily moved close to you and took your hand in hers. “No, he’s not,” she said with a smile. “How can you not see it? He looks at you like you’re his sun and stars.”
“We could have an experiment,” Spencer suggested.
“What kind of experiment?”
“Emily got yelled at yesterday for making a mistake during paperwork,” he explained. “I can see you’re preparing a similar report today so you could make on purpose the same mistake as her. Let’s see if he reacts the same way when he sees it. If he yells at you too then that means he treats you the same way he treats all of us. If he doesn’t…then you’re his soft spot.”
“Fine,” you agreed. “Only so you can all finally stop torturing me with this.”
A few hours later, your report was on Hotch’s desk.
“Y/N?”
You heard your name in that warm voice of his and lifted your head to look at him. He was standing at his office door with a smile, certainly not looking like a man about to start yelling.
“Can you please come to my office for a moment?”
“Of course.”
Walking up the stairs to his office, you could feel the stares of your colleagues. Time to prove them wrong, you thought. Even though, you were secretly praying for the opposite.
“What do you need me for?” you acted naive.
“I was just looking at your report,” he said, sitting down on his chair. “And-”
“Oh no, did I make a mistake?”
“No, it’s nothing important!” he rushed to reassure you. “It’s just some little thing. I only wanted to show you so you know the correct way to do it from now on.”
There was a sweet smile on his face. His voice was soft and not at all angry.
“Come on, let me show you.”
It didn’t feel scary to go close to him. So you did.
It was a bit hard to pay attention to him explaining your mistake, since you were staring at his fingers brushing the paper in front of you. It didn’t matter anyway, your mistake wasn’t an accident at all.
“Okay?” he asked when he was done.
“Okay. I’m really sorry, Hotch,” you said, giving him your best puppy eyes. If you were gonna do this experiment, you were gonna do it right. “I’ll be more careful from now on.”
“Why don’t you come to my office next time you prepare a report like this one? We can do it together, hm?”
“But you’re so busy, I don’t wanna slow you down,” you argued, your heart beating faster and faster as you realized that Aaron wasn’t angry at all with you.
“Nonsense. We’re doing it together next time.”
“Okay,” you said. “Thank you, Hotch.”
Just before you arrived at the door, you heard him calling your name. “Oh and Y/N?”
“Yeah?” you responded, looking back at him.
“The team is right.”
“Right on what?”
He smirked and dropped his gaze back to his papers. “You know what.”
You turned around to exit his office with a huge grin on your face. Sometimes it feels better when you lose.

love sick — 08. we can be friends
romance 101; ideal partner #9 — someone i feel safe around
email from yesterday evening
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
you didn’t want to think terushima was a bad person, exactly.
semi and atsumu would look at you judgingly if you ever said that out loud in front of them, but it was the truth. terushima lacked self-awareness, he was a do or die person, which meant he acted before he thought. which wasn’t good at all, for him or anyone else he decided to bother, and he needed serious correcting, but that should’ve been the job of the people who raised him. he was the textbook definition of man-child.
“babe!” terushima exclaimed, looking genuinely happy to see you. looking over his shoulder, his dyed blonde hair reminds you of atsumu in this moment, who you spot laughing maniacally with jai—clearly too occupied to notice your little situation.
you decide to accept your fate and look up at terushima, “oh, hi,” you greet back awkwardly. you were restless, gaze focusing on your peripheral vision and hoping to spot the person you were looking for so you could grab him and go back to his team.
“I knew i’d find you here,” terushima grinned, proud of himself, “you’re not usually at places like these but i figured since you’re dating that suna dude you’d be here, and i was right!”
“ah yeah,” you nodded, stepping back to hopefully avoid the conversation entirely, “nice running into you—” not, “but i was actually on my way to look for—,” you were cut off before you could say rin.
“your boyfriend?” terushima smirked, it was weird in a way as if he knew something you didn’t, “saw him outside with some chick, I told you babe, he’s no good.”
your mouth hung in slight, you don’t recall suna saying he was seeing someone. in fact, the reason he started this with you was because he was trying to get away from people fawning over him. that didn’t make any sense, so it was probably just someone suna knew and terushima was taking it the wrong way. you guessed that was probably why suna took so long, he could’ve at least texted you.
you shake away the thought and focus on terushima obviously trying very hard to bad-mouth rin, brows furrowing, “that’s probably just his friend.”
“they didn’t look friendly,” terushima clicked his tongue, “i’m telling you, he’s being a bad boyfriend.”
“i’d rather talk to rin about it,” you offered him a small smile, you watched as his expression turned sour.
“why can’t you just believe me?” he practically whines.
your smile becomes strained, “i think i’ll just go and look for rin now,” you try to sidestep him but terushima grabs your wrist.
“talk to me more for a bit,” terushima says, gaze heavily focused on you “he’s still busy out there.” “i told you,” tone hardening, eyeing your wrist he held onto tightly, “i’d rather check on him and ask now,” you attempt to tug your wrist away from his grip.
in the middle of successfully doing so, you bump into someone. you were about to apologize but then this person spoke over you, “i was looking for you, sweets,” your eyes widened for a bit realizing it was the person you’d been looking for, of course he decided to show up now, you think how cliché and typical it was.
you look up at him, his jaw set just as he wraps an arm around your waist, “who’s this?” it took a second before realizing he was talking about terushima who was still in front of you both.
“i’m terushima, [name]’s friend,” terushima nods at him, answering for himself and giving suna a big fake smile.
“does she know that?” suna mumbles, something only you heard, making your lips twitch. his hand on your waist pulling you closer towards him.
“what?” terushima asked before shaking his head, “whatever man, if you don’t mind, she and i were talking.”
“i mind,” suna says, looking bored of this already, “we’re going.”
terushima looked dumbfounded, clearly not used to suna’s straightforwardness. terushima couldn’t utter another word before suna was already pushing you forward and away from him.
suna leans down, whispering in your ear, “thought you had no crazy ex?”
“i don’t,” you sigh, troubled, “he just… bothers me.”
suna didn’t take that very well, “and you don’t do anything?” he looked down at your wrist pointedly.
“it’s fine,” you say instead, smiling to placate him, “thank you, though.”
suna bites his inner cheek, ultimately deciding to leave the topic online, “i didn’t get to get your water, i was…” he was looking for the right word, “preoccupied.”
“terushima told me he saw you with someone outside,” you confess, looking at him to see any signs of anything, suna was still really hard to read, “he was saying it as if you were ‘cheating’ on me,” you whispered this part, “it would be bad if he tattled, but i don’t think he will.”
“how are you so sure?” suna doesn’t deny what terushima saw.
“he’s trying to make it up to me somewhat,” you offer that same old small smile of yours, “he wouldn’t intentionally do something that might damage my reputation or something after he uh did it before.”
“alright,” suna chooses not to question you further about terushima which you were thankful for, “can we leave now?”
“it hasn’t been an hour yet,” you check your phone, it’s only been around forty minutes.
“do you want to stay for longer?” suna moves you away from a drunk person passing by, still holding your waist.
“not really,” you say, it didn’t seem like suna was in the mood to be here too and you think you’ve won over his teammates already and showed off your relationship enough.
“we can go and get some yakitori, it’ll make up for your water,” suna offers, to your surprise. you thought he’d just want to drop you off and be alone.
“sure,” you agree, albeit still a little confused with the way he’s been acting all night.
suna nodded before leading you back to his teammates, saying your goodbyes. they didn’t question you leaving early, maybe suna has a habit of doing that? you explicitly tell atsumu to not injure himself going home. suna interrupted saying that bad weeds never die so you didn’t have to worry. it didn’t take long before the both of you were back in his car.
“i wasn’t ‘cheating’ by the way,” suna says after he settles in, starting the engine.
you arrange your bag on your lap nicely, “i didn’t think you were, rinnie bear.”
suna shakes his head, “at least you know i’m loyal.”
“what can i say? i know how to choose them right,” you shrug, grinning. this, this was easy, pretending like everything was completely fine. you were worried about his mood, the mystery person he talked to for twenty or so minutes, and him in general but you had no right to force your questions on him.
you haven’t known suna for long but you guessed he wouldn’t take it kindly if you asked about things that were none of your business. you didn’t know what was happening to suna, but you’d wait for him to reach out to you first. these past several days have made you kind of friends, after all.

Oh, Rats
You find a wounded rodent on a stroll by Big Ben and being the kind lady you were, you take it home and tend to it until it gets better. Little do you know what you've done.
(This was really inspired by @sindysugar and @lilgrimmapple   I really adore their artwork and story involving The Great Mouse Detective and If you get a chance please check out their stuff. Warnings for Ratigan being in bad shape with some broken bones.)
Tumblr media
"I don't like that."
"Don't like what?"
A thunderstorm rolled across the sky that night. The sun was just setting over the horizon with the last few rays of daylight disappearing but it was hard to tell when the dark storm clouds took over the sky and claimed them as their own. Thunder shaking the lanes of the windows and lightning sounded off like an angry whip from whatever deity was angrily stomping around the clouded skies, lighting up the sky and city below for nothing but a brief second.
It would've been absolutely dark if you hadn't lit up a few candles inside the comfy room and placed them on the table to light up the room. The warm light comforting against the scary night sky that just appeared as the last few daylights were chased away. The candlelight lighting up the scowling scrunched up face of the old maid that peered downwards at the rather large vanity in the room. It was large enough to be used as a vanity, work desk, and table so you used it as such. But lately it's had a new purpose. And it's purpose being the temporary home for your temporary new roommate.
"I swear whatever this...this THING is it's evil!," she spoke pointing out a little but decently sized caged sitting on the vanity. It had been an old bird cage stored in the attic but you'd brought it out again to use it for someone else. "The way it just looks at everyone..." She shivered. "I swear it's almost human like! It's disturbing!"
"Calm down, Olga." Your calm voice usually soothed the older woman of any worries but lately her insistence has been a bother. Soft hands closed the curtains to your window hiding the sights of the gloomy storm outside. "He's just a harmless little mouse, and you don't have to take care of him. So why does his presence in one room of the house where you can just easily avoid him forever bother you so?"
The woman never looked up from where or more accurately WHO and WHAT she was staring at giving a loud huff of disapproval. "Hmph. It's his look that bothers me. I swear that evil smugness he always gives me is unlike a rodent!"
You sighed again as she finally turned up her nose, laundry in her arms. This happened every day since you first brought it home. Brought HIM home. Ignoring her worries, your footsteps echoed in the room making the small journey across the room to the vanity and smiled at the little occupant of the cage.
"Hello there. Is Olga being a worrier again?" Your voice softly cooed.
Black eyes turned up towards you from the inside, teeth on display but you knew it wasn't malicious. He just seemed to like his teeth showing. Honestly it looked almost like a smirk but that was ridiculous. Mice couldn't have enough thought process to smirk. Olga was just imagining things as usual.
"I find it disturbing how you treat it?"
"Don't like how I treat him how?," you questioned playfully wagging a finger at the cage like it was a kitten instead of a mouse.
"That! Like THAT!!" A finger released itself from the laundry she held to point at you. "You talk to that creature as if it was a human! It's disturbing and not normal!"
You again sighed tiredly before looking at her. "I talk to them the same as I do everyone else. Is that so wrong?"
"YES! It's not an equal it's a filthy vermin!"
"He's not filthy. He had a bath yesterday and I cleaned the cage this morning."
"That isn't what I meant and you know that."
Another soft sigh left your mouth along with a tired eye roll. This has happened over and over again with Olga. Honestly the older woman didn't like any animals unless it was cooked on a plate for her to eat, so this wasn't an unusual occurrence but it has been the first time she's been so insistent about you getting rid of the animal. She must really not like like mice.
She hated him the moment you brought the poor thing home with you. It was on a similarly stormy night actually just like this one some weeks ago. You were taking a stroll through the streets of London after a day of shopping but lost track of time. A storm was coming in from the thick fog and made itself known. You decided to take a short cut past the famous Big Ben to get home faster but something else had caught your hurried attention.
As you hurried down the sidewalks with thunder sounding overhead and the fog clouding the streets, your footsteps echoed throughout the dark streets eerily, something caught your eye. A single black lump laid out upon the middle of said sidewalk making you slow down to a stop until it was but a yard away from you. What was..that? It looked at first like a black blob a little larger than a single one of your hands within the fog but as you slowly approached, it began to form more clearer and take shape. It was a-..
A large mouse? Rat maybe?
Whichever one it was, it laid face down splayed against the concrete covered in some kind of tattered black cloth. ..Poor thing. Many people considered rodents in general a burden and considered it good fortune at seeing one dead but you couldn't help but feel sorry for it. Maybe it was because you loved animals but you did feel sorry for it. It must've been stepped on by someone or maybe run over by a moving carriage the wheels throwing it onto the sidewalk with their momentum. Although you hadn't the faintest idea why it was covered in black fabric. Maybe it crawled out from a dumpster tangled in it? Or had someone tied a bag around it only for the animal to shred it apart? You had no idea.
But SOMETHING important caught your attention as you took a closer look at it. It's chest slowly and shakily rising and falling in shaking breaths. A wheezing breathing gasping sound exiting it's mouth as it desperately clung onto life. It's body shook lightly with every gasp. It was-
"You're alive."
Olga shrieked when you got home shopping bags around your elbows and a half dead unconscious rodent in your hands wrapped up in your handkerchief. She shrieked at you that it carried diseases and it was dirty and it should die and you should throw it out the door right that second! You ignored her of course because she always reacted this way whenever you brought home an animal and sent for the local veterinarian.
"He's incredibly lucky to be alive," the doctor had told you after the animal had been properly cleaned up and treated. "Any more time out there, especially in the rain, and he would've died. I don't know where you find these beasts but as my best customer my service is yours."
"Is he going to be alright?"
"Certainly! He has some broken bones specifically some broken ribs and some wounds but with proper treatment he should be back to normal again in no time! I'll write down the care he needs and prescribe some medicine that ought to help."
Your care had been going on for a while now since then and he's been doing so much better! You made sure he was given a good clean space to stay in and comfortable things that seemed to make him feel better. Though it was quite odd for a mouse. He seemed to prefer the water you gave him in a smallish wine glass (small to a human not him), and he seemed to not like the scraps you tried giving himself. You tried giving him fresh food cut from your daily meals, which worked better. It was almost like he preferred to be served actual meals like you were a maid instead of feasting on scraps like mice usually do. But you supposed after spending so much time outside any animal would want fresh food instead of old scraps. His bed was an old cushion that was torn apart by a cat you were also caring for but had managed to sew the scrapped fabric up enough to make him a small pillow to rest on. Which he was doing now.
"You said that about every animal I've cared for," you pointed out to her raising a brow. "Like the dog with the broken leg. You said he was possessed by an evil spirit. Or the carriage horse. You say that he's waiting for you to get in front of him to run you over!"
"I stand by both of those statements still thank you very much! But this thing-" she shuddered hard. "There's something else about him that's borderline evil!"
"He's not evil. He's a mouse-"
"That thing tried to bite me through the cage first week he was here!," he accused.
"That's because you yelled at him and hit his cage which I told you NOT to do!," you countered back with a frown and crossed arms. "He was hurt, irritated, and you scared him being aggressive like that."
You remembered that day. Olga shrieked and SWORE he was smirking at her and called him a qoute 'disgusting, filthy, disease carrying, germ and flea infested, ugly RAT' before hitting her fist on top of his cage. She almost got bit when the mouse let out a rather loud squeak. A rage fueled squeak that sounded almost like a shriek itself as it lashed out and was almost able  to catch her pinky finger in his teeth. To this day you've never heard any rodent sound like that. You had to physically shove the hysterical screaming woman out of your room and lock the door to prevent her from swinging the broom at the cage and it took nearly an hour and a half for the mouse to calm down enough for you to safely look over himself. Thankfully both were ok but you've banned Olga from going into your room at all unless you were there and made it clear if anything were to happen to him, she'd be fired immediately. You were now tired of her continued antics.
"Just leave him alone!," you ordered firmly. "He's very well behaved and he's not staying here forever. It's just until he gets all better then I'm going to release him back outside."
"Hmph. Well that's the only good thing about him being here! I swear that thing is evil and I won't change my mind. "
"Oh come now. If he was really bad he would've done something to me by now. He's so good even the kitty I'm looking after likes him."
"You mean that obese beast that eats all our good fish and lazes about all day? She's almost as bad as him."
You scowled harder at her making her sigh. The poor kitty had fur torn from her making bald spots and looked like a pack of stray dogs got her. You brought her back home to recover about two weeks before you found the mouse. Both seemed to like each other very much when you accidentally left the door open one day and came back to find both cuddled up with each other. But surprise surprise Olga didn't like her either.
"She's on a diet so she's not used to not getting so much food. Whoever owned her previously probably just over spoiled her so she's not used to portions." You didn't see it but the mouse gave you an eye roll of slight irritation before you smiled back at him. "He's a little extinguished gentlemen. Here. I'll show you."
Olga looked physically disgusted before you reached out and with a click slide the door wide open. Her face immediately paled as your hands reached in cupped and you cooed at him like you would a kitten to come over to you.
"W-WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
You looked up at her shriek not seeing how he stood up on two legs before turning on a heel and flopping onto your palms smugly. "I'm taking him out. He's always so well behaved." Her expression worsened as you pulled your hands out with the mouse in it and smiled brightly holding him up. "See? Isn't he such a cute little guy?"
Instead of answering she squealed out as the mouse stuck it's tongue at her not that you saw and pressed herself Against the doorway in her panic fumbling with the doorknob. Wretching it open a sheet dropped from her arms as her fearful squealing continued down the hall and towards the downstairs. You blinked for a moment as the door slowly creaked closed again and more thunder rolled above you. Eventually sighing as the mouse flipped onto his stomach and regarded you with a smile as you shook your head.
"I swear that woman just hates any animal she doesn't eat. You're certainly a gentleman no matter what anyone says. Let's get you back to bed now."
Gently your hands pushed him back into the pen and laid him stomach down on the comfy pillow. However his front paws caught onto your pointer finger and a small kiss like motion was felt on your skin. Blinking you pulled your hand away from him to look at it then at him.. before shaking your head and relocking the cage. Kissing your hand. Too many of Olga's fears was getting in your head. He probably just licked you as any animal would do.
After all he was just a rodent and nothing more.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
"you know you didn't have to bring anything right?"
"yeah I know, just felt like bringing something"
"what's in it?"
"food what else dumbass?"
"coming from you probably someones head"
"wow very funny."
As he gave you the bag you were greeted with some desserts, homemade ones to be exact
"I thought you were bad at cooking?"
"Ive gotten better"
"sure you have..."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"SUKUNA LOOK LOOK"
"What am I looking at?"
"isn't the statute pretty??"
"I guess? All I see is some naked woman"
"you clearly don't understand art..."
"how do I not understand art when I literally paint, do poetry and calligraphy"
"you expect me to believe that?"
"yes"
"wait your serious?"
"did you think im not?"
"I find that hard to believe..."
"what hobbies did you think I had??"
"dunno tormenting people maybe? You seem like the type"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"I don't know how to bowl"
"how? It's literally so easy just throw the ball and there"
With that he'd toss bowling the ball to you as if it was nothing??
The moment he tossed it you immediately moved to the side
"WHAT THE FUCK??"
"your being dramatic it isn't that heavy"
"YES IT IS?? I COULD'VE BROKEN A BONE"
"I'd break it myself if you keep acting like a drama queen"
You'd roll your eyes before picking up the ball from the ground and throwing it into the bowling lane, as you did,, however you didn't even manage to hit a single bowling pin..and when Sukuna saw it he immediately laughed at your failed attempt
He'd pick up another ball and hand it to you as he stood behind you
"you're doing it wrong, here"
With that he'd manhandle your body into a proper stance, once he was finished he backed up and told you to throw
And when you did you managed to hit all of the Bowling pins as you did so you immediately jumped and giggled
Sukuna was about to find it adorable but you just HAD to act cocky. When you did he immediately flicked your head
"you wouldn't have done it without me, don't act to confident"
"can't a girl dream?"
"yeah but you can't"
"wow okay.."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Sukuna what are you doing here?"
"Yuji asked me to come along to watch him skygazing"
"I'm surprised you agreed"
"didn't had a Choice"
"how come?"
"our mom told me I can't leave him alone, which is ridiculous he's perfectly fine by himself"
"speaking of wheres Yuji?"
"he ran into Megumi so he's having some quality time with his 'bestfriend', anyway why are you here?"
"just felt like it"
"what's so good about skygazing your just looking at stars what's so good about it"
"do you always have to be bitter?"
"always"
Both you and Sukuna would be sitting on the blanket you laid out on the floor as you two sat close to one another while looking at the stars, till you spoke
"you know Sukuna, I've been thinking"
"didn't know you had a brain"
"nevermind."
"I'm kidding, continue"
"I guess you aren't really that bad, you fare un to hang out with, surprisingly...I thought I wouldn't have that much fun spending this much time with you but guess I was wrong"
"so what were friends now?"
"dunno, if you want I guess"
He wants to say something so badly. But he knows once he does his feelings would spill out. And he doesn't wanna do that right when you both are finally on good terms.
Tumblr media
Sukuna and uraume would be talking to one another as they sat down on a nearby chair
"how's things with y/n?"
"I guess it's okay, I went skygazing with her yesterday and she sorta confessed how I'm not that bad,"
"looks like you have a chance"
"chance for?"
"a chance to get with her? What else? It's obvious you like her"
"don't be ridiculous. Why would I like her?
"why would I like someone like y/n, the only reason I'm doing this is for the project nothing else, it's not like I care, let alone have feelings towards her"
"if anything when she told me her little confession I was on the verge of laughing, she really is pathetic isn't she? As if I'd be her friend"
"After this is over I'll just stop talking to her, simple,"
He's wondering why he's saying all of this? He knows he likes you but he won't admit that. He won't admit he's been chasing after you for years. He won't admit how he liked you despite how you felt about him. Sukuna isn't some pathetic loser he won't beg. He won't act desperate
After Sukuna finished talking he'd noticed how quiet they became, before he could ask what was wrong he heard a sound behind him, and when he turned around he saw you...
You stood behind him as you just stared at him wide eyed with your fist clenched, you were a fool to think a person like Sukuna would change, why would he ever change? It's still the same Sukuna deep down no matter what he does.
"how much did you hear?"
"all of it."
[⛩️] @: Likes & Reblogs R appreciated! ^^
A/N: be honest does this sound like Sukuna atp...he's so out of character I'm about to jump off a cliff

Cuz I Loved You

DBF!Joel Miller x Reader
word count: 1.6k
warnings: light smut (nothing too crazy), touch of angst, heartbreak, Joel being a dick, plot twist ending, blue text is flashback from Joel's pov, pink text is flashback from readers pov
note: yes- this is based off the new Joel pic along w alittle help from @/corrodedcorpze on twitter who had the idea and yes i asked to write this before i did bc we don't steal ideas in this house
part 2
Tumblr media
Music was playing, people were talking and enjoying themselves, and your dad was having the night of his life. He never really liked celebrating birthdays but your mom convinced him otherwise.
You were running late as usual, stopping and getting the few things that had already run out at the party. As soon as you pulled into the driveway of your parents house you saw his truck. You felt your heart drop to your asshole. It had been months since you last saw or even spoke to Joel. Why did he have to be here?
You walked through the house, leaving the supplies in the kitchen before walking to the backyard. You spotted your parents and walked over to them, completely ignoring everyone else.
If I don't see him I won't have to talk to him.
Joel's laughter quickly died down as he looked over Tommy's shoulder and saw you. His eyes quickly roamed your body- you had on your favorite red sweater- the same red sweater Joel had got you for your birthday and a pair of black leggings. You looked beautiful as ever.
“Joel.” you gasped, pulling the knitted fabric out of the bag.
“It's the one you pointed out in that window in town.”
“Oh honey thank you so much. It's beautiful.”
“Cmon try it on. Wanna see how it looks.”
“Okay.” you smiled, standing up from the couch and replacing your t-shirt with the sweater. It fit you perfectly. It was a bit baggy but by the look on your face, Joel knew you still loved it.
“Beautiful.” he smiled, gently pressing his lips against yours. “But I think it'll look better on my floor.” he smirked, hands sliding up your sides under the sweater.
“Well let's try it out.”
“Joel.” Tommy called out, pulling Joel's head out of the clouds.
“Sorry what were we talking about?”
You got up from the table your parents were sitting at and glanced over, making eye contact with Joel. His heart sank as he saw your smile disappear because of him.
He looked good- so good that it hurt. He grew his hair along with his beard- covering the patches of skin you kissed all the time. You could tell he aged some but really he looked like the same man you fell in love with.
“What's all this?” Joel asked, eyes glancing over the dining room table.
“Well you told me you were working late so I'd thought you'd enjoy a hot meal.” you said as you poured a glass of whiskey and handed it to him. “Plus since we can't do date night this weekend I thought tonight was good.”
“I coulda put Tommy in charge.”
You let out a laugh. “Joel Miller don't make me laugh. You know good and well leaving Tommy in charge is the reason why you have more gray hairs then brown.”
He chuckled and kissed you softly. He pulled away and looked into your eyes for a moment, smile still spread across his lips.
“I love you.” he whispered. You were surprised. You were always the one to say the L word first in relationships but Joel beat you to the punch.
“I love you too.”
“Sweetie?” your mom called out, making you look over at her. “Oh sweetie…” she whispered, reaching up and wiping the tear that rolled down your cheek with the pad of her thumb.
When did you start crying?
“Come on. Let's go inside for a minute.” she grabbed your hand and walked you into the house.
“Mom it's fine. Just my allergies acting up.”
She laughed. “I wasn't born yesterday.” she handed you a glass of water. “Seeing him must be hard huh?”
You felt the heat go to the tip of your ears. “H-How did-”
“A mother knows. And after you two broke it off you stopped coming around and Joel was nothing but a mess. Sarah was calling your dad left and right because she couldn't get ahold of him.”
You couldn't lie to yourself, hearing Joel was a mess was oddly comforting. The sounds of his footsteps approaching the kitchen made your mom go quiet. She looked up at Joel and then back over at you.
“Do you want me to stay?” your mom whispered.
“No it's fine…”
“Okay… I'll be outside if you need anything.” she said to you, giving her a quick nod before she walked out of the house, leaving you and Joel alone for the first time in months.
“How have you been?” he muttered, finally breaking the silence after about 5 minutes.
“Fine. You?”
“Fine.” he replied.
“Good.”
“That's all you're gonna say?” he scoffed.
“Well you had a mouth full to say the last time I saw you.” you crossed your arms over your chest, digging your nails into the palms of your hands and repeating yourself not to cry in front of him.
He opened his mouth, about to say something, when the sliding back door opened and people walked in.
“Can we go somewhere private?” you gave him a small nod and led the way upstairs to your old bedroom, closing the door behind both of you.
“Look I'm sorry…”
You scoffed and rolled your eyes. “If 'I'm sorry’ is all you have to say I think I'll be on my way now.”
“Would you let me finish a sentence?”
“No Joel I will not! You don't deserve my time, you don't deserve to even be standing in front of me, speaking to me.” you yelled.
“I don't deserve it?” he yelled back. “You're fucking joking right?”
“Does it look like I'm laughing? You broke up with me, Joel Miller. You were the one that said it was too much. You were the one that wanted out. Not me.”
“Because you wanted all this life I couldn't give you! Do you not understand that I'm more than twice your age? I don't want to start over!”
You faced away from him, quickly wiping your eyes with your fingers.
“Don't cry…” he said in a soft tone.
“I am crying Joel. I'm crying cause I loved you and I hate you for that.” He walked over, gently placing a hand on your shoulder.
“I'm sorry.”
“Fuck you and your sorry.” you walked towards the door but he grabbed your wrist, spinning you around to face him.
“Fuck you Joel! Let me go.” you placed your hands flat on his chest and tried pushing him back but he wouldn't budge. “Fuck you.” you tried pushing him off again but no movement. You stopped for a moment, staring into his eyes- those dark brown eyes that you loved so much. He leaned down, just one move away from pressing his lips onto yours.
“Fuck me.” you whispered. He didn't hesitate. He pressed his lips onto yours, his hands sliding down your curves and around to the small of your back, pulling your body closer to his. You reached up and tangled your fingers in his curls at the nape of his neck.
God you missed this but you knew this was a bad idea. There were nights where all you dreamed about was this. But no matter how much of a bad idea it was- you didn't wanna stop.
You both stripped down to nothing and he picked you up by the backs of your thighs, wrapping your legs around his waist. It took him no time to bottom out inside of you, both of you groaning at the feeling.
“Fuck I forgot how much you felt like heaven baby.” he groaned, bouncing you up and down on his cock while thrusting up into you.
“God I missed you so much Joel.” you moaned, digging your nails into his shoulders.
“I missed you so much more baby girl.”
It was like you had stepped into a time machine and went back. The sweet praises he whispered, the way his massive hands roamed your body as his thrusts became sloppy. The way you moaned his name on repeat, the way you always had to be touching or kissing him while he put you in this euphoric state.
It had been so long for both of you, you both came before either one of you wanted it to be over. You stayed in his arms for a moment, trying to catch your breath and gather your thoughts over what just happened.
“I umm… Gotta get going.” you said as you dropped your legs from his waist and got redressed.
“Yeah me too. Got a meeting in the morning.”
Before you walked out of the room he grabbed your hand again.
“Are you free this weekend?” he asked. You let out a small sigh and shook your head.
“Joel I'll never stop loving you but it took me everything in my power to get over you. I'm sorry but it's best that we don't speak again unless we have to.”
“Baby-”
“I'm sorry.” with that you walked out of the room, leaning Joel alone.
— • —
Weeks had gone by since you last seen Joel and you've never felt better. That is until you got a stomach bug. Your head had been in the toilet for the last few days and the smell of food just made you even more nauseous.
You were laying on the cool tile floor of your bathroom, not having the energy to get up and go to your bedroom, when your eyes caught a glimpse of the unopened tampon box sticking out from under the sink.
3 minutes. 3 very long agonizing minutes. Once the timer on your phone went off you looked on the bathroom counter to see what your future would hold.
“Oh you've got to be fucking kidding me.”

Summary: Lily McIntyre, trainer for new SHIELD recruits at the Avengers Tower, has been in love with her best friend, Bucky Barnes, from the moment she met him. You were pretty proud of yourself, you had to admit. You had no idea how many women Bucky had slept with over the years (and, if you were being completely honest, you really didn’t want to know), but given he was well over a hundred, you figured it had to be a pretty decent number. Yet, here he was, lying next to you, trying to recover like you’d literally just sucked his very soul out of his body. You swore you’d never swallowed so much cum in your entire life, let alone at one time. For a moment there, you’d briefly wondered if you’d be the only person in history to literally drown in cum.
You’d never enjoyed giving your ex-husband head before, but giving it to Bucky had felt almost like a religious experience. He’d allowed you to take your time, to set your own pace, and do what felt natural to you– not just grab both sides of your head and fuck your face like a fleshlight, the way Connor had been so fond of doing. Your mouth was going to be so sore tomorrow, though. It was like having a forearm in there. You laughed quietly to yourself. Totally worth it.
“What’s so funny, doll?” Bucky asked, rolling over onto his side so he could face you properly.
“I was just reminiscing about how huge your dick felt in my mouth, Sarge,” you told him honestly.
Bucky wrapped an arm around you and pulled you closer to him. “Major,” he moaned into your shoulder, “you keep talking like that and you’re gonna get me going all over again.”
You smiled and scooted closer to whisper in his ear. “That cock was so big, I thought I was gonna choke on it, Sergeant.” Bucky shivered and, sure enough, you could feel the appendage in question hardening against your stomach as you spoke. He was insatiable, and you loved it.
“Come back with me to the Compound tonight,” Bucky said. “It’s closer than your place and I’m not going to be able to wait much longer to be inside of you.”
You sat up, torn between being touched that he wanted to take you back to the home he shared with his friends, and wanting to just jump his bones immediately. In the end, being horny won out. “Why wait, Bucky? We’re both already naked, and you’ve already blown one load out here. What’s a couple more?” You reached down and grabbed his semi-hard member, stroking it gently.
“Fuuuuck,” Bucky groaned. He sat up and placed a hand over yours to cease your ministrations. “Sugar, we can’t,” he said through gritted teeth, as though it pained him to put a stop to your actions. “This is a public park. What if we get caught?”
You threw your head back and laughed at that. “Bucky,” you said through your giggling, “that’s half the fun! Besides,” you said, turning a bit more serious once you saw the concern in his eyes, “it’s after hours on a Sunday night. No one is coming to the park now. And even if they did, what are the odds of them finding us? We’re so far off trail.”
“They could see the lanterns,” Bucky said, “and follow the light. And I just… Nevermind, it’s stupid.” He turned his face from you, embarrassed. You were beginning to love the way he shied from you when he was afraid he was going to say the wrong thing.
You frowned and gently tilted his chin so he was facing you again. “What’s ‘stupid’? Bucky, you can tell me; I’m not going to judge you, I promise.”
A small smile tugged at the corner of Bucky’s lips. “I just… don’t want anyone else seeing you like this,” he murmured, running his vibranium hand down your shoulder. “You look like a fucking goddess tonight, Major. I want to be the only one that gets to worship you.”
His words couldn’t have had more of an impact on you if you had been physically struck by them. “Bucky,” you whined, pulling him close to kiss him. You had a fleeting thought of self consciousness, that he’d be able to taste himself on your lips, but he didn’t seem to care as his tongue sought entry into your mouth. He kissed you like he was dying of thirst, and your lips were the only source of water for miles.
“Let’s compromise,” you told him once you’d broken apart. “We can blow out some of the lanterns, so we’re not so easy to find.” Bucky nodded, seeming to like the idea of your offer. “Then,” you continued, “you can fuck me under the stars.”
*
The two of you must have looked absolutely ridiculous, you thought, traipsing around, completely naked, as you collected all of the things that Bucky had brought for your picnic and packing them away into the basket, save for the blankets and some pillows, giggling like idiots the entire time. You wanted to have everything packed up as neatly as possible before blowing out the lanterns, so that when it did come time to finally leave, you wouldn’t risk leaving anything behind because you’d been fumbling around in the dark. You’d both completely forgotten about actually eating dinner.
As you worked, you kept sneaking occasional glances over at Bucky, admiring the way the light rippled over his body. The man was essentially made entirely of muscle, and yeah, you’d seen him naked before, in the confines of your condo, but something about seeing all of him outside, under an open sky, did something to you. It made you feel… feral.
“You okay there, doll?” Bucky asked, causing you to refocus and clear your head.
“Huh? Yeah, I’m good. Why?” you asked him.
Bucky smiled as he walked over toward you. “Well, you stopped moving, then got this dazed look on your face, and you were just kind of staring at my dick,” he said. Reaching you, he put his hands on your hips and playfully yanked you toward him.
You chuckled at his apt description of what you must have looked like. “Just admiring the scenery, Sarge,” you teased. You could feel your desperation for him growing by the second. You took his hand and guided it down your body, between your breasts, down the skin of your stomach, until you had it against your aching heat.
Bucky took the initiative of running two of his thick fingers between your folds, gathering your copious slick. “Oh, sugar,” he said, his voice almost patronizing, “you’re fucking soaked.” He brought his fingers to his lips and sucked off your arousal. “Shit, you taste so damn sinful. Be a good girl and go wait for me on the blanket while I finish up, alright?”
You nodded and did as he asked. You watched as he quickly finished gathering all the lanterns and blowing them out, one by one, until he was just a silhouette of shadow among shadows.
“Hey, sugar,” Bucky said through the darkness as he climbed toward you across the blanket. Your eyes were adjusting to the starlight, and though you couldn’t make him out perfectly, you could see him much easier.
“Hi, Sarge,” you replied with a soft giggle as you reached for him. “Come fuck me, please.”
“Oh, doll,” Bucky purred, “I’m not going to fuck you tonight.” He kneeled down on the blanket, resting back on his heels, and, as if you weighed absolutely nothing, he picked you up, positioning you so you were facing him, straddling your legs on either side of his torso. “Tonight, I’m making love to you, Major. Put your arms around my neck.”
You obeyed him dumbly, his words having driven all rational thought completely out of your head. Bucky reached underneath you, putting his hands under your ass and using them to pull you close to his chest. “Are you ready?” he asked.
You nodded desperately; you were practically dripping for him by this point, but something hit you. “Fuck,” you hissed. “I don’t have any condoms.”
“What happened to my always prepared Girl Scout?” Bucky asked with a grin.
“I thought we were going out to dinner!” you told him in exasperation. “I didn’t think we’d end up fucking in the middle of the woods! I just assumed we’d end up fucking back at my place, where I have copious amounts of condoms!”
Bucky laughed at that. “Well, maybe we should both start carrying them at all times then, sugar. Just in case. Seems we’re making it a habit of not always gettin’ to a bed in time.” But then his face turned serious. “If you’re worried about diseases or whatever,  you don’t have to be– the serum, it prevents me from contractin’ anything, so I can’t pass stuff on, either. Kind of like a catch-all vaccination. The only thing we’d have to worry about is… well,” his eyes glanced down to your belly. “You know. I can always pull out before I finish, if you want.”
Just the idea of feeling him inside of you, with absolutely nothing between you, invaded your thoughts and filled your mind like a thick smoke, reaching every crevice of your brain until it was all you could think about. To actually feel him cum inside of you… “Don’t you dare,” you said, a little more sharply than you intended. “Pull out, I mean. Fuck, I wanna feel you, Bucky. All of you. I’m clean, and I’m on birth control. I can pick up some Plan B in the morning, just to be safe.”
Bucky closed his eyes and groaned. “Fuck, sugar, if you’re sure.”
You tightened your grip around his neck. “I’m so sure, Sergeant Barnes,” you said. “I wanna feel every inch of you inside of me.”
Bucky opened his eyes and looked at you. “I don’t think I’ve ever had sex without a condom before,” he confessed. “Don’t take it personal if I don’t last. It just means you feel so fucking good, I couldn’t help myself.”
You snorted at that, and Bucky grinned at you. “As long as you make sure I cum, too,” you said, kissing his jaw, “I don’t care how long you last.” You both knew he would never leave you unsatisfied.
“Hey.” Bucky jerked his chin so he was looking into your eyes again. “I’m really glad that, this first time for me without anything between me and a dame, it’s with you.”
You didn’t have words to describe how that made you feel, so you did the only thing that would properly convey the depth of your affection toward him– you kissed him as you lowered yourself onto his dick. You were so wet, he met virtually no resistance as he tilted his hips up into you. And your body, now after your… eleventh, or was it twelfth?-- time in two and a half days, knew how to welcome him.
“Holy fucking shit!” you gasped.
“What is, doll?” Bucky asked, eyes wide with concern. “Are you alright? Did I hurt you?”
You shook your head. “Do you have any idea how deep you feel inside of me right now, Bucky?” you asked him. “It’s like I can feel you in my soul.”
“Fuck,” he grunted, and then he started using his arms to guide you up and down on his cock, sliding himself nearly all the way out before pulling you back down on him again, and each stroke felt like ecstasy. “Damn it, doll,” Bucky said, looking down to watch where his cock disappeared inside of you, “you feel so fuckin’ good! I don’t know if I can ever go back to fucking you covered again!”
“Oh, god, Bucky,” you moaned. You didn’t know if you could go back, either, not with the way you could feel every single vein of him drag against your inner walls. His motions were deliberate, slow, gently feeding the fire instead of pouring gasoline on it the way he usually did. It was intoxicating.
“Look at me, sugar,” he begged, his voice holding a tone of longing. Your eyes met his, and despite the dark, they shone. You couldn’t look away as he pumped into you. “You’re fucking amazing, Major,” he gasped, timing his statements to match his languid thrusts. “So goddamn beautiful.” Thrust. “You make me laugh.” Thrust. “You’re brave as hell.” Thrust. “You’re independent.” Thrust. “Strong.” Thrust. “Smart.” Thrust.
He kept praising you as he increased his rhythm, hips thrusting up into you faster and faster, the whole while keeping his eyes locked on yours. The coil inside of you was tightening, constricting the expanse of your lungs, making your breath come out in shallow gasps.
You kissed him, putting every ounce of lust into the motion, moaning into his mouth as he never broke stride and brought you closer to the edge. “Bucky,” you moaned into his mouth. “Fuck, Bucky, you’re making me feel so good, honey. Don’t stop, please!”
“Never, sugar,” Bucky grunted back. “Fuck, wanna make love to you until the day I die.” You sucked in a breath at his words, and before you knew it, tears were streaming down your face. Bucky’s thrusts faltered. “Doll,” he said, lifting a hand to wipe the tears from your cheek, “did I say something wrong? I’m sorry!”
“No!” you cried, shaking your head as you worked your own hips to make up for his loss of motion. “No, Bucky, shit, honey, you’re saying everything so right. I’m crying because I can’t remember the last time I felt so goddamn happy.”
Bucky resumed his thrusts with a renewed purpose. Getting up on knees, he repositioned you so you were lying on your back, his giant frame leaning over you. “Come on, sugar,” Bucky grunted as he snaked a hand down to your clit and began to rub. “Need to feel you cum around my cock. Show me how happy you are, pretty girl. Show me how good I make you feel.”
You propped yourself up on your elbow to bring your face closer to his. Grabbing a hold of the chain that held your name, you pulled his face to yours and kissed him. “‘M so close, honey,” you moaned into his lips. “Need you to give it to me.”
“I wanna give you everything, Major,” he grunted, kissing you again. And then, suddenly, it was all over for you, the coil snapping, and you were falling, shouting his name to the stars and the sky. Bucky’s thrusts lost their careful rhythm, and you could feel him spilling into you, wave after warm wave of cum pouring down your channel.
“Fuck, sugar,” Bucky cried. “Can feel you squeezin’ me. Shit, baby– you feel so fucking good, sugar. ‘S so good, can’t stop cumming.” His words lost all meaning as they devolved into grunts and moans as he collapsed on you, his hips still thrusting as if with a mind of their own.
The weight of him should have been suffocating, but instead, you never felt safer than you did with his body splayed on top of yours. He held you to him, as though afraid that, were he to let go, you would float away on the breeze, and you felt so light after your orgasm, you very well could have. Mumbling sweet nothings into the side of your neck, Bucky’s flesh hand found your hair, stroking it.
“Thank you,” he whispered into your skin. “Thank you so much, Major.”
You let out a shuddering breath, hands gripping the muscles of his upper back as you held him, legs finding their way around his waist. “Thank you, Bucky,” you said, pressing a kiss to his temple. “That was everything.”
After a few moments, Bucky gently rolled off of you, but his hands never left your body as he held you close, running his fingers along the meridian of your spine.
“How’re you feeling?” he asked you. Always considerate, always checking in. It made your heart swell with affection. Fuck, with love for him.
“So good,” you told him. You placed a gentle kiss on his pectoral. “How are you feeling? Did you have a good time?”
Bucky huffed out a laugh. “Are you fucking kidding me, sugar?” he asked with mock incredulity. “Every time I’m with you feels like the best time of my fucking life. And I’m not just saying that,” he added, anticipating your incoming protest. “You… I don’t know what it is you do to me, Major. I just know that, when I look at you, things feel right, for the first time since I shipped out in ‘43. I feel like I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.”
But goddamn if this man didn’t know how to say just the right words to you. “If you’re not careful, Bucky Barnes,” you said, hoping to put enough tease in your voice to mask how sincerely you felt the words you were saying, “I’m gonna end up falling in love with you.”

“I can do this, I’m strong and confident.” She said. Simon chuckled.
“Atta girl.” He kissed her head once more watching her as she walked into her classroom.
-dad!simon who now had to deal with his hellion and her teacher who liked him. But Zhuri always shut her down.
“Why are you talking like that to my daddy?” Zhuri crossed her arm’s sassily looking at her teacher who had started lightly flirting with Simon.
“My daddy doesn’t like other girls besides my momma, and me obviously.” She grinned.
Her teacher got quiet but let Zhuri know that she should say goodbye to her daddy, Zhuri who gladly tackled her father hugging his torso Simon who laughed picking her up “you’ll get points from your mama with that one.” He chuckled kissed Zhuris cheeks setting her back down.
“Bye Daddy!”
“Bye ya hellion don’t cause trouble.” He said.
“Cant promise anything!” She grinned.
-dad!Simon who always come back to the thought that he would never have children or family but now he stood here with his girls. Learning to do their hair. What foods they like and dislike. Going through a phase where he would call them each others names to the point they started playing tricks on him on who’s who. Now he sat at gymnastic meets, softball games and whatever those girls wanted to do may it be soccer, basketball ball, swim. Simon was right there, he would sit with them playing tea party and doctor. He would let the girls color in his sleeve when he needed them quite.
-dad!Simon who when her first held them his whole world lit up. And he knew that he would do anything for them. He would kill for them.

I have a yandere alastor idea for you... Could you do it? Imagine the reader being one of the unfortunate people who was killed by the alastor when he was human... Human! Alastor never felt these strong feelings for anyone, until the reader appeared in his life, the reader was a kind and caring person with everyone, always treating everyone the same... Now I imagine when Alastor discovered that these feelings were love for the reader, but the reader rejected him because he already loved other people... Maybe Alastor, in his desperate and psychotic environment, unintentionally killed the reader...
(now currently) the reader became an angel and was chosen to help Charlie at the hotel (of course the reader doesn't know that Alastor is at the hotel and this happens after the battle)...
Now what would happen?
(Fudge knuckles, this, um, it set off something in my head because I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. Admittedly couldn't imagine turning down Alastor but I can try to imagine it for this XD
Um I would have started this earlier but I was watching stuff with my friends yesterday when I got this. Point is I'm creating it now despite wanting to space out my creations, oops~
So i wasn't sure if you wanted the reader to be male or not (since you said "because he already loved other people") so I'm going gender neutral again on this. Sorry if you wanted male specifically >w<
Alastor uses "doe" as a petname for you which yes is female but I like the idea of it so I apologize for that.
Totes writing this after looking deep into my Alastor plushies eyes and while watching A Haunting in Venice. Don't ask why.
Fandom: Hazbin Hotel
Characters: yandere!Alastor, angel!reader
Pairing: Guess
Genre: What genre does yandere being yandere fit in? Hurt? Ain't no comfort here
Summary: Sir Pentious should have told you, oh god, why did he not warn you.)
Oh Doe
Emily assured you this would be a lovely thing; she spoke with excitement and sweetness and love of her dear friend Charlie, of that wonderful princess of hell. And the newcomer Sir Pentious, well he had plenty himself of his time there, of his growing friendships and those strange fascinating souls for whom he'd given his life. For whom he was sent up to heaven, redeemed at last. It was hard for you not to be excited, your wings all a flutter as the portal opened to allow you entrance to Down Below, to Hell. To the Hazbin Hotel.
You found the place extremely warm and it took you a moment to remember that of course it was such. It was Hell after all. You smiled as you did so and approached the hotel, amazed by it's grandness. You'd heard about the great battle between the exterminators and the hotel residents; the loss of Adam had been both a great blow and an admitted relief in some. He had been many things to many people, you mainly saw him from a distance like most angels, but the idea that an angel as powerful as him could be felled sent emotions through Heaven that were less than pleasant. You of course never feared though, a kind soul through and through, one able and willing to see the good and warmth in all. Even, you'd be the first to admit, that of perhaps those who certainly didn't deserve it.
Your eyes found the design fascinating. There was something familiar in it, in the silhouette of it, of the flash of it, the strange apple shaped tower. And the one opposite to it, strange and ominous, and in it something felt as it was watching you with far too much interest. You felt, for the first time in decades, shivers down your spine and could half remember a voice.
"Oh doe, my doe, you have done something terrible. You've broken something deep inside me and you won't even be good enough to fix it." You had not thought about it in a very long time, those words, the last thing you heard from a voice as smooth as velvet, sweet as honey, and poisonous as a viper. It dug deep, it was embedded in your soul, for better or worse, along with all the regrets and sadnesses of a life left unfinished.
"Oh you must be the angel Emily told me about!" You were ripped from your memories by a voice and your wings expanded in surprise as you looked towards the door to see what you had to guess was Charlie Magne herself.
She was bright and cheery, the strangest sight of sunlight in the depths of Hell, but her eyes sparkled and she ran over to you, taking your hands in hers and shaking them excitedly, "Oh, Emily said an angel would come down to help but really after everything that happened, you know with the trial and the fight and all of that, well, who really thought that Heaven would really send down an angel? And to help us no doubt! I'm so excited, seriously, really, just-"
"Charlie," said the voice of Vaggie; she was another angel, Emily had mentioned her, and she looked at Charlie with a soft look before turning her eye to you. It was so....it was hard to describe, not entirely hostile, not certainly friendly; you knew very little of her, of her fall, of what happened, but you suspected that she had less than friendly memories of angels. Still you smiled warmly back at her, not blaming her her feelings, how could you when you didn't truly know her; you certainly hoped to change that with your time here.
She was not the only one looking at you with at least a little suspicion. In the aftermath of battle and rebuilding, there would of course be such for an angel walking up to the hotel. The tall one, the spider sinner Angel Dust, tilted his head at you with eyes hidden by sunglasses, hands on his hips. Beside him was Husk; Sir Pentious had called him the bartender, he had not mentioned how fluffy and soft he looked, with his own wings ruffling behind him with a look even more suspicious than Vaggie's own. To both still you smiled and waved, hoping to make friends, to prove yourself.
There were more; you knew there were because you'd been told. But try as you might, while you remembered Sir Pentious mentioning how Lucifer often was around, not there currently of course, and there was supposed to be a little one-eyed maid named Nifty, Sir Pentious' love Cherry Bomb, you couldn't quite remember who else he mentioned. You knew there was one more, one more resident, one more sinner. Who....who....
"Come on, let me show you around," Charlie said and there again was that bright smile. You liked her, she was a warm kind soul; she reminded you of what everyone always accused you of being. Yet deep down you couldn't help but feel you weren't though, that Charlie was kinder, that Charlie was sweeter.
Because Charlie wouldn't have broken someone's heart like you had.
She dragged you along, such strength for such a small girl, and you were delighted by the beauty of the inside of the hotel as well. Down your back you still felt the chills, still felt the sensation of being watched, but you told yourself it was nothing and enjoyed the tour.
"Husk is the bartender of course, Angel is our resident....well, resident; our housekeeper Nifty is running around somewhere," Charlie said cheerfully, showing you all around, "And my dad is currently at home but he'll be back soon; oh he'll be so surprised to see you, we haven't had an angel here since...oh...well..." she trailed off and looked embarrassed.
You laughed sweetly and smiled at her. "No worries at all princess, I understand. The situation was terrible and on behalf of Heaven, I am so sorry for what happened; you never should have been put in such a position to have to fight to protect yourself like that. But you all survived and Sir Pentious spoke so lovingly of you all, I am delighted to have the chance to meet you and assist you with redeeming souls so they may come to Heaven too."
Charlie looked at you and you recognized it, though it felt strange coming from someone as sunshine as her. It was a look you were well used to, one you had gotten a lot in life, when you helped someone who was down on their luck by giving them everything in your pockets, when you showed kindness and love to any and all around you; people didn't always understand, they didn't often want to. Charlie, you suspected, did on both regards but having grown up in Hell, though she too saw the good in all around her, there still must be a part of her that felt uncertain when faced with a true kindred spirit. You noticed from the corner of your eye Vaggie's expression change, of course she would see it too, to something a little softer but still with plenty of apprehension. You were not fake though in your goodness; you had become an angel for good reason, Sera and Emily had always told you so.
Something felt like it was chuckling and you could have sworn you heard it again. "Oh doe, my doe, how is it you can brighten up a whole room with that bleeding heart of yours?"
"Ooooooh!" Charlie said and proceeded to capture you in a massive bearhug; the strength of a hellborn, especially Lucifer's daughter, was quite impressive and you blinked a few times before chuckling.
She continued. "I like you a lot, you seem like just what we need!"
"Oh great another softie just like our princess," said Angel Dust, walking up behind you both.
Charlie let go of you with a pout. "Angel, what's that supposed to mean?"
"That means you're too soft for your own good and so are they," Husk said, "Which, by the way, what even is your name anyway, angel?"
"You know my name," Angel Dust said playfully and nudged Husk, making the sinner grumble.
"Not you, spider, the actual angel."
"Oh me," you said, smiling again before stating your name.
You didn't expect how pale he got. You didn't expect that someone as furry as him could even go pale. Maybe it was just that his eyes widened and you got the sense he recognized your name; you opened your mouth to ask what was wrong, why he was looking at you like that but he grabbed Charlie's arm, tight if her wince was any indication.
"Princess, we need to talk, now," he said.
"Husk what's wrong?" Charlie asked and Vaggie frowned as the cat-bird sinner pulled her away from you and down the hall.
You watched as Vaggie and Angel Dust threw you a confused look then Husk one before following after him, leaving you there, alone. The hotel was quiet, they moved far enough for whatever was on his mind for you to not hear; you choose that it was probably something important and you weren't too worried. Of course they didn't trust you entirely yet to talk about important things around you, not after what happened. You kept your smile and your faith and decided to take the chance to look about the hotel for yourself.
There were many floors and many rooms. Most were empty, many were locked; you thought to yourself of how beautiful this place would be when more souls came, to be redeemed and finally go to heaven. Oh it would be wonderful, full of voices and singing and laughter and happiness. You know you were chosen for this role but you certainly couldn't have imagined any better one; to help people was something you very much enjoyed doing and this felt like the best way to do so with your afterlife.
Yet the happy thoughts felt...cold here somehow. Colder still as you kept walking. The sensations continued, of being watched, of something staring. You tried to ignore it, certain it was nothing. That surely the shadows weren't somehow watching you; that was all that there were after all, just the hotel and the shadows.
Your own little tour led to a specific door and you weren't too sure what brought you there. By your estimates it was the door that would lead to a room connected to that strange tower, the ominous one, the one you'd felt had been watching you. You stood before the door for a moment, staring at the doorknob before pulling yourself together, your wings fluttering, your heart racing a little. This was silly, you were being silly; you reached out for the doorknob to open the door.
It opened on it's own, before you could even touch it, and from inside you heard something familiar. Jazz music, a taste of home; it touched your heart and your smile turned soft and nostalgic, reminded so much of those days when you'd been alive. Visions of New Orleans crossed your mind and without thinking you stepped inside, entranced by the music; you started to sing along, knowing this song by heart.
"Oh doe, my doe," said a voice and while the music kept playing, you no longer could hear it, for the blood that couldn't rush that did rush past your ears as the good memories faded away.
He'd always played it, a dedication just to you he always told you. That melodious voice, that bright smile; it was tinged, tainted, but the crackle of radio filter to it reminded you of the days sitting in your living room, listening to him talk, never imagining what he truly was, who he truly was. Your dearest friend, for years and years.
"Alastor." The name tasted like fear on your tongue and you turned to stare, with eyes as wide as a deer's in headlights, at the tall figure who stood there, gently closing the door behind you both.
So much had changed yet not much at all. He still smiled so friendly, so warm, and you once believed so much in it, in what soul could be behind it. Until the day he confessed and you, foolish, foolish you, who loved and loved and loved and didn't know yet how to take being loved, had turned him down. He'd called you his doe, then he'd stabbed you through the heart.
His smile twitched and he tilted his head, red eyes focused on you. He wore a monocle instead of glasses, you thought feebly to yourself how you'd liked the glasses; the slightly tattered coat, the neat little bowtie, the essence of suaveness, the sharp claws clenching so lightly a long thin cane with a microphone on the end, it all suited him in some way. You remembered his hair as brown; it now was reddish, red like the rest of him. Red like your blood must have been on his clothes.
"My doe," he said and reached out with one hand, cupping your chin; you were frozen, unable to resist, unable to speak anything but his name in a terrified whisper, "It seems Heaven's sent you back to me."
You didn't want to die. You were sure he would kill you again. But he continued to smile, with those sharp teeth like a sharks he had, and looked you over, examined. "I must say, I'm not surprised you're an angel; you always were one, you just needed the wings."
That hand moved, from your chin to one of your wings and a whimper left you as you felt him stroke your feathers, biting your lip and closing your eyes.
"The question is though, my doe," he said and his tone never changed; it was playful, light, and ever so dangerous, "Do I let you keep them or do I rip them off of you? Can't have you escaping me again, can I?"
"Alastor, please," you whispered, begged, "Please..."
"Though if I did that Charlie might complain," he said and chuckled, "And I wouldn't want that. Promise me then, my doe, promise me you won't try to run away."
"I promise." You just wanted to be safe, you just wanted him not to hurt you. You remembered death, it had hurt so much.
"Good doe," he said and pulled away, patting you on the head, "Now come on, remember to smile; you're never fully dressed without one."
He smiled at you and you smiled back. Not because you wanted to. But because something, deep down, from that day, from all those days you'd spent with him, and all the days you knew to come, that if you didn't, it wouldn't end well.
The door burst in soon after and Vaggie seemed on the attack while Angel grabbed you to pull you behind him, Charlie apologizing over and over, "I didn't know, Husk told us all about what happened, I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have let you wander off on your own".
"No worries princess, I was just greeting our new angelic guest," Alastor said with cheer and friendliness.
Husk glared at him, his wings expanded, his eyes narrowed. You tried to reassure Charlie; you couldn't even really reassure yourself. But something in seeing her so worried, Husk so on edge, Vaggie with her spear and Angel standing there as if he could or would do anything, make almost seem like this could still be okay. You could still see the bright side in this, goodness, the light.
Even when facing down the greatest devil you knew.

____________________________
sabrina could already feel your eyes on her, even through the crowded space of the cafeteria.
you could never leave her alone, could you? you were always just... there! like an annoying little fly.
the blonde didn't care that much at first, she thought it was just adoration for her, but now it was starting to feel like stalking.
"sab," chloe spoke up, her attention set on you, "that girl is staring at you again. this is like the 7th time today."
"i know! isn't it creepy? it's like she's in love with me and it's honestly starting to freak me out." sabrina sighed, resting her chin on the palm of her hand.
jen nodded in agreement, "yeah, she's definitely in love with you. hey, wasn't there a love letter in your locker yesterday?"
chloe laughed, "that was isaac, his handwriting and grammar is terrible. he tries too hard, and plus that girl is like super smart."
sabrina turned her head, spotting you in an instant. you were sitting at a table alone, an open notebook laying in front of you.
she hummed in amusement, raising an eyebrow, "she's smart, yeah?"
jen sighed, facepalming, "sab, don't break her like you do with all the others, please. she seems like a sweet girl that's actually willing to put some effort into a relationship."
chloe hummed in agreement, "seriously, just maybe get to know her?"
sabrina's eyes widened, eyebrows furrowing in confusion, "what? who said i was gonna go out with her? for all i know she could be, like, mental."
"and i've only dated like three girls before. i don't know if i'm into women,"
chloe and jen shared a look before laughing in the blondes face. jen smiled, "oh, sab, don't act like you weren't eye-fucking that girl at james' party last week."
sabrina's face flushed in embarrassment, looking down at the table and suddenly finding such interests in the tiny holes.
"can't deny it, you are definitely a girl kisser." chloe added, laughing when sabrina looked up at her.
the blonde started to laugh, too, her lips upturning into a smile at the sound of jen's laugh.
what were they laughing about?
you couldn't help but stare at sabrina, she was so... gorgeous. the prettiest girl you've seen at the school.
she was smart, too, that's why you liked her. liked. you couldn't call it love, because that wasn't what you were feeling.
was it?
you just wanted to be her friend. you just wanted to talk to her, get to know her and maybe even kiss her.
her lips were so full and red and they just looked so soft, her skin did, too. she was perfect and you couldn't get enough of her.
you wanted to see more of her, wanted to see her body. but that wasn't what friends did.
so, maybe it was love. you weren't even sure you could tell the difference between like and love anymore.
you weren't even sure if she liked or even loved you.
friday, and you were still staring at her! why were you staring at her?
"what the fuck is her problem, seriously?!" sabrina groaned, balling her hands into fists before slamming them on the table softly.
jen raised her eyebrows in shock, "don't get too crazy over her, sab. i'm sure she just wants to be you, every girl does."
"i found out her name. it's y/n, pretty, right?" chloe chimed in, smiling softly at sabrina.
the blonde didn't care anymore. she didn't want anything to do with you, she didn't even want to see you anymore.
why couldn't you go away? even for just a day, and she'd be happy. she'd be happy if you got out of her head.
even when she was at home, you found a way to get to her. fuck, she just wanted to bang her head against a wall to get rid of those thoughts of you.
those thoughts.
the weird thoughts that couldn't seem to escape her head. she couldn't seem to stop dreaming about them.
she couldn't stop dreaming about how your lips would feel on hers and how you would kiss. were you a good kisser?
the thought of your body on top of hers while your tongue explored her mouth. the way you would lick the marks that you made on her neck, soothing the ache.
"sabrina!" jen snapped in front of her friends face, moving her hand out of the blondes way as she snapped back to reality.
"huh?" she asked, completely out of it.
"hey," a boys voice caught her attention, and she turned her body to look at him.
tristan rogers was standing right in front of her, his hands tucked in his jean pockets as he stared down at her with his green eyes.
"sorry, didn't mean to interrupt you and your girls or anything," he laughed awkwardly, "just wanted say that i'm throwing a party tonight and i'd be super thrilled if you came."
he flashed sabrina a smile, and she swore tristans teeth glowed, "oh, yeah of course i'll come."
"thank you, tristan." she smiled, watching as the boy nodded.
"no problem. i mean, what's a party without sabrina carpenter?" he laughed before walking back to his friends.
the blonde just waved stupidly, and if anything, tristan should've been the one to do that.
she quickly put her hand down, knowing it wouldn't help the rumors of them dating. they were so stupid and not at all true, tristan was jen's crush sabrina would never break the friend code.
you caught the blonde's eye again, even when you were sitting halfway across the courtyard behind multiple people. she still spotted you.
"oh my gosh, sab!" chloe exclaimed, reaching over the table to take her hands, "you just got invited to a party by tristan-fucking-rogers."
sabrina smiled, looking over at chloe and then jen with a smug expression on her face, "no, we just got invited to a party by tristan rogers."
jen's lips parted in surprise, and her face flushed red immediately, "what?"
"you're going and i'm not gonna take no for an answer, babe." sabrina replied, and chloe laughed at the way the brunette's face turned red.
the girls' attention was soon taken by yourself, who was walking by both tristans friend group and sabrinas.
you glanced over at the blonde before bumping into tristan, who grabbed your shoulder gently.
"y/n, hi," he smiled, running a hand through his hair.
he let go of your shoulder, and you took a small step back, "hi, tristan?"
"my bad for bumping into you, i just figured i ask if you wanted to go come to my party tonight?"
you nodded, completely oblivious to the fact that your crush was going to be there.
"great! well, see you tonight, then." tristan exclaimed, waving before walking to his table again.
sabrina couldn't not listen to your conversation. i mean, you and tristan were right in front of her and were speaking loud. well, not loud, but she could still hear!
her lips upturned into a smirk as a thought came to mind. since both of you were invited to the same party, she could just slip away from her friends and go find you tonight. she just wanted to ask you some things.
that's all she wanted! nothing else.
there you were, staring at the blonde even from across the crowded backyard. she could never catch a break.
you were leaned against a brown shed, sipping from a red solo cup as you stared at sabrina.
how did you not notice her staring back? were you not embarrassed? or were you just zoned out? she couldn't even tell at this point.
before she could even do anything else, you moved, making your way through drunk teenagers and horny couples.
you passed by sabrina again, but this time you didn't even bat an eye toward her, you simply just nudged chloe's shoulder and went into the house.
"okay, that was rude," jen huffed, taking her last drink from the cup in her hand before throwing it somewhere in the yard.
"maybe she didn't see you, i'm sure she never would've done that if she did." sabrina muttered, patting chloe's shoulder.
the younger girl shrugged, "i won't hold it against her. this time."
jen laughed, and sabrina just smiled. why did she feel so alone now that you were gone? she hated your eyes on her, and besides, now that you were gone she would have to avoid her plan.
"wait, sab, y/n's gone. go after her girl! what about that plan you made?" chloe exclaimed.
shit. curse her inability to keep her mouth shut.
"okay," sabrina muttered, "i'll be, like, 2 minutes."
moving past her friends and inside the house, she looked around, her mind set on finding you.
you weren't downstairs, so the blonde made her way to the 2nd floor of the house and knocked on various doors, one of which she heard a couple fucking behind.
walking toward the end of the hallway, she finally spotted you, coming out of a bedroom.
she quickened her pace and made it to you just as you were about to leave, placing her hand on your chest and stopping you.
your face flushed as you stared at the blonde, confusion washing over you.
pushing you back softly, she walked toward you, making you move backwards and into the bedroom again.
she closed the door behind her and was quick to lock it before the both of you made it to the wall opposite of the entrance.
"do you have a problem with me?" the blonde broke the tense silence, her face close enough to yours that you could feel her breath on your lips.
you raised an eyebrow before replying, "no, not at all,"
she moved closer before speaking again, her hand now gripping the fabric of your shirt, "then what's with you staring at me all the time?"
"it's like you're in love with me or something," your breath hitched at the accusation, and sabrina smirked.
she was flush against your body at this point, "is that it?"
silence was all she received, your lips parted as you breathed unevenly. she had such a strong effect on you and yet this was the first time you two were alone.
sab scoffed, amusement clear on her face, "it is. you know you could've just told me, i might've even let you down softly and just said i wasn't into you,"
"but that wouldn't be the truth, and i always promise to be honest." she muttered, eyes going down to your lips.
you were speechless, and all that came out of your mouth was incoherent sentences.
"and, if you could be honest tonight then i might just tell you my true feelings, yeah?" sab smiled, "c'mon, just tell me how you feel."
her eyes couldn't decide where to stay, moving from your eyes to your lips every now and then.
seeing her this close, you now noticed how blue her eyes were. they were so pretty, just like every other aspect of the girl.
your eyes went down to her lips, they were so full and red. maybe she'd let you kiss them if you were honest.
"i like you.." you muttered, eyes going anywhere but hers.
sab raised an eyebrow, clearly finding this amusing as you practically crumbled beneath her gaze, "what was that? speak louder, please."
your face grew impossibly redder, embarrassment and arousal flooding your entire being, "i love you, sabrina."
she smirked, tilting her head to the side before running her thumb along your cheekbone. your height difference wasn't crazy, but you had some inches on her.
"there you go, y/n. wasn't that difficult, right?" the smaller girl cooed, her blue eyes becoming darker and glazed with lust.
you were so submissive toward her already and she hadn't even done anything, she was simply just speaking to you.
shaking your head, you couldn't help but whimper softly at the way she ran her thumb over your lower lip.
the blonde smiled, looking up into your eyes before kissing your lips. she wasn't rough with it, but then again she wasn't soft.
the kiss was passionate, and you instantly kissed her back, desperate to even be held by her. you wanted to be consumed by her, owned by the girl.
your tongue ran over her bottom lip and she didn't hesitate to grant you entrance, surprised at how good you were at kissing.
how good you were with your mouth. she wondered what it'd feel like in... other places.
your hands struggled finding a place to stay, so you just settled for sabrinas waist, pulling her even closer to you if that was physically possible.
pulling away, both of your eyes were on the string of saliva that still connected you both, and somehow it turned you on further.
sabrina hummed at the way you tried to chase her lips, failing to show any kind of composure anymore. your self-control had entirely dissipated when she pushed you against this wall.
her lips were on your neck in mere seconds, kissing and sucking softly on your skin until purple marks appeared. she was gonna make sure tristan or any other guy know that you were off limits.
"sab, oh my god," you gasped, breathless as you raked your fingers through her blonde hair.
she smirked against your neck, continuing to leave marks until she got to your collarbone. stepping away, she admired your disheveled state.
your lips were swollen, eyes blown out, shirt wrinkled and your neck... you were so beautiful like this.
"so pretty," sab muttered, grabbing your hand and leading you to the bed.
when you got to the edge, you turned around, trying to capture sabrinas lips in a kiss again, but she stopped you.
her hand was on your chest as she pushed you to sit down, a bigger smirk forming on her face at the fact that you just let her.
"so good for me."
you whined, growing impatient as the blonde removed your shirt and bra.
your jeans were next, and sabrina took her time, loving the little whimpers that came from your throat every now and then.
she was on her knees, now, slowly unzipping and undoing the button on your jeans before tugging them to your ankles along with your panties.
grabbing your thighs and spreading your legs, the blonde couldn't help but gasp at the sight of your pussy.
"you're soaking, y/n," she said, looking up at you, "so wet and i'm only just beginning to touch you."
she hummed, running her finger along your slit and eliciting a choked moan from you, "god, you're so sensitive, baby,"
instinctively, you closed your legs when sabrina pushed two fingers into your entrance, gasping when she dug her nails into your thigh.
your legs parted again, and your mouth hung open at the pleasure coursing through your body.
the room was almost silent, the sounds of squelching coming from your pussy and heavy breaths coming from both you and sabrina.
her eyes were fixated on your pussy, not being able to tear her eyes away from the sight of your entrance taking her fingers so perfectly.
"fuck." the blonde whispered.
her pace sped up as her thumb joined in on pleasuring you, rubbing tight circles along your clit and watching as you squirmed underneath her.
your hands went to her hair, but she quickly stopped them with her free hand, raising an eyebrow.
"don't want my hair ruined, the party's still going on, hon. put your hands down or i'll stop, mhm?" she hummed, and you quickly gripped the sheets.
your head fell back, eyes fluttering shut as the coil in your stomach tightened.
"don't stop, please, sab, please-- shit, i'm gonna cum, fuck, fuck!" your moans quickly turned to short and loud gasps as sabrina curled her fingers, bringing you to edge.
your cum coated her fingers, and with the pretty sounds you were making sabrina couldn't control herself anymore.
her fingers didn't stop after you came, they hadn't even slowed.
your pleas for her to keep going quickly turned to incoherent babbles as tears formed in your eyes.
sabrina muttered quiet praises, encouraging you to give her one more as she smirked up at you.
"c'mon, you can take it, hon. one more for me?" sab said, smile sweet as her movements became quicker.
your arousal was dripping down her palm now, and she almost moaned at the feeling.
sobs were coming from your mouth as you approached your second orgasm, your legs shaking slightly as your eyes rolled back.
"shit, oh my god,"
sabrina smiled, her ministrations slowing and coming to a stop when your hands went to push hers away.
her fingers easily slid out of you, and when she stood up, she popped them into her mouth.
she could've done this all might if it meant tasting you again, hearing you again.
"you did so good, y/n," she praised, kissing your forehead softly and earning a quiet hum from you.
tapping on the steering wheel, sabrina looked over you. your hair was still a mess and so was your shirt.
she couldn't help but smirk, knowing that she was the one who got you into that state.
"stay at my place tonight?" the blonde asked quietly, and your head turned at the sound of her voice.
you nodded without hesitation, thinking about the endless possibilities of what tonight could lead to. what else they could lead to.
"sure, i wanna get to know you better." you smiled, and sabrina laughed.
"fuck, i sure hope so or else me fucking you dumb was for nothing." you looked away, your face flushing red in embarrassment.
the car ride wasn't silent, it was filled with quiet chatter and the low hum of the radio playing.
you were in love with her, and even if you didn't know her that well, you could already tell.

Kiss the goat part 2
Part one
Tumblr media
Sometime after your brief yet terrifying phone call, Casey Beckham and her boyfriend Steve are brutally slain in her suburban home, and you know exactly who's responsible.
It's hard to sleep that night, hard to do much of anything but lie listlessly in your bed, eyes wide, hand clutching the small, sharp knife you'd come into this world with, like a safety blanket.
Your mind felt all too busy for rest,  you knew this was just the beginning, and despite how insane things were about to become, you were determined to make it to the end. No matter what.
The circus that the campus had turned into the following morning was intense, to say the least. Where there weren't reporter vans there were police cruisers. You couldn't take a step without having to dodge a camera or microphone being shoved in your face.
With every inch closer to what felt like a school-shaped coffin, an uncomfortable little chill shot up your ankle, as before you left this morning, you tucked the small switchblade into your right boot, after last night you weren't willing to take any chances, this was the first time a movie had gone off script on you and it made you this..nervous kind of excited, the kind you felt in your tummy all day and night, where you didn't know what was coming next, but you couldn't wait for it.
Although any positive emotions coming from this thought vanished as you were abruptly called to the principal's office, which would have been fine had it not prompted a very particular look from Stu. The very psycho you were trying to avoid. It was a bit surreal to think only a few hours before he was stringing his ex-girlfriend up like a set of Christmas lights.
Being pulled into the office first for questioning wasn't helping your goal of anonymity, the police made a point of asking more than once if you'd liked to hunt, and where exactly you'd been all night, thank god for Randy you thought, Happy with the alibi he'd inadvertently given you by hanging out yesterday.
You don't tell the police any more information than they ask, keeping your answers short and sweet as you wanted out of there fast, the principal was overtly friendly and it wasn't his fault as he's written as a red herring, but he still creeped you out.
Lunch rolled around and a part of you wanted to just ditch it all and run in the opposite direction, but you knew better. So you swallow your fear and count your steps as you head towards the fountain.
Making your way to the spot said alibi had begged you to meet him at, you caught wind of the conversation and knew then and there you were in the thick of it.
Randy waved you over to sit beside him excitedly, your sudden appearance barely affected the group's conversation.
"They ask if you like to hunt?" Stu's voice carried over the sounds of the water rushing from the fountain, his eyes flicker to you, a twitch in his smile as you sit beside Randy with a silent wave.
"Why would they ask if you liked to hunt?" Tatum asked twirling the lollipop in her hand, her eyes met yours before returning to the group, and she sent you a grin before toying with Stu's hair, said man sent you his own smile, unlike her's, his sent a chill down to your tummy.
"Because they were gutted," Randy said much too cheerfully, no wonder they suspect his ass.
"Thank you, Randy," Billy spoke from his relaxed position, his dark brown gaze flickering over to the mysterious newcomer Randy had attached himself to like a leech. You made a point not to meet his eye. Instead, you tried to act as naturally as possible.
But his gaze lingers.
"They didn't ask me if I liked to hunt." The pretty blonde spoke, almost offended by the notion.
"Cause there's no way a girl could have killed em'," Stu says matter of factly, his grin completely unsubtle.
"That is so sexist- The killer could easily be female. Basic Instinct." Tatum replies.
"That was an ice pick, not exactly the same thing." Randy chimes in, again much too cheerful given the context.
"Yeah, Casey and Steve were completely hollowed out. Fact is it takes a man to do something like that." Stu says, its fascinating to you no one catches on to that psychotic look in his eye.
"Or a man's mentality." His girlfriend replied mockingly.
"How do you- how could someone do that to another person?" Sidney questioned more to herself than anyone.
"You take a knife, and you slit em' from groin to sternum," Stu says almost gleefully, his blue eyes flicker to you for a moment, and it makes your stomach do a flip. Like he was waiting for a reaction.
"Hey, it's called tact you fuck rag," Billy says his eyes full of a silent warning to Stu: shut the hell up. It made you smile a bit to yourself, how on earth these two idiots managed to make it to the end of the original movie without being caught amazed you.
"Hey, Stu didn't you used to date, Casey?" Sydney asks almost accusingly.
"Yeah for like two seconds."
"Before she dumped him for Steve." Randy taunted him close to Stu's face. "I thought you dumped her for me?" Tatum says with a pout.
"I did he's full of shit." Stu sneers with a glare, his grin almost like a warning to Randy.
"Are the police aware you used to date the victim?" He taunts Stu and you can't help but chuckle to yourself.
"What you think I killed her?"
"It would certainly boost your boring life."
"He was with me." Tatum said wrapping his arm around her front almost protectively, "Yeah was that before he sliced and diced?" Randy teased popping a peanut into his mouth,
"Fuck you nutcase where were you last night?" Tatum glared at Randy prompting him to smirk, "With (Y/n), my alibi's solid Blondie." Randy said proudly. This caused a very interesting reaction as Stu tightened his grip on Tatum, and Billy began staring holes into Randy.
"I didn't kill anybody." Stu says dismissively as he looks between the faces of the group.
"Nobody said you did." Billy bit out, his words holding a certain level of warning. "Aw, thanks buddy."
"You're so suspicious." Randy rolls his eyes at Stu, and the blonde man sends him a sharp look.
"Yeah well, what about her?" Stu throws his head towards you, his grin strained.
"What about me." You respond meeting his stare head-on, your brow raised at his odd accusation, it almost made you laugh.
"Well, he has a point." Billy sits up, demanding your eyes meet his own, his stare is like a shark, unmoving, unwavering. "And what would that point be." You ask, unfazed by the heat they tried directing on you.
"New girl comes to town, bodies start dropping- kinda' interesting right?" He watched you from his seat at the fountain, the dark look he gave went unnoticed by the rest of the group, goading you for a reaction. He was testing you, for what you didn't know, but you held his burning gaze, your smirk taunting him.
"Well sure, if you have no imagination that makes total sense."
Something in the way you spoke held everyone's attention, especially the two violent men who were currently looking at you like a starved dog looked at a hunk of raw, bloodied meat.
"Isn't it much scarier to think about how you all probably know him? That you've been sitting next to him for years?" A small grin twitched at your lips, they shifted uncomfortably hanging off of every word, this glimmer in Billy's dark eyes had a fire burning in your belly, sure antagonizing a sadistic murderer was probably a bad idea, but you couldn't help yourself.
"Then again, what do I know." The bell gave your sentence an ominous ring as they all said with your words, Randy pulled you along, which left you unaware of the dangerous looks you were getting.

About fifteen people are gathered in a circle with a bottle in the middle. You look up; the dark sky peeks through the gaps in the trees. It’s a cloudless night, with stars twinkling brilliantly above. Since you’re deep in the woods, far from any cities, the sky is a stunning tapestry of stars. It’s so different from the view you have back at home in the city.
Your reflections are interrupted by a deep voice. “Quiet, everyone! Let’s start the game.”
The person who just spoke is the first to spin the bottle. He’s a boy around your age, wearing a simple beige t-shirt and light jeans that are pretty worn out and dirty at the bottom. He reaches out to touch the bottle and spins it. The glass revolves for a few seconds before it lands on a girl. You try to make out her features in the dim light of a few flashlights, but it’s hard to tell if you know her. You don’t think you’ve met her before. Does it even matter?
Since it’s the first round, the pair is quite shy about making the first move, but the girl’s friends push her toward the boy, and they finally muster enough courage to connect their lips. It’s a simple kiss, a peck even, but that’s enough to make the crowd cheer.
You cringe at the thought that every round of this game might be like this. Half of us are probably adults already or at least 17. You start to regret playing this childish game.
You scan the faces around you, trying to read their expressions, when your eyes land on Ellie. The second you look at her, she quickly turns her head in the opposite direction. Was she looking at you? You quickly push the thought away. No, why would she? Especially after claiming many times that she hates you. She was probably looking at someone next to you, or something.
The girl on whom the bottle landed spins it again. It lands on another boy, whom you recognize from archery yesterday. The boy spins the bottle once more, and it lands on a different boy, one you don’t know.
“Wait, what?” You whisper to Olivia next to you. You don’t understand what just happened. What are the rules?
“You’ve never played before? One of the people who just kissed spins the bottle. Once it stops, the person for the next round is picked. Then, that person spins the bottle to find a pair for themselves,” she explains quietly. “Get it now?”
To be honest, you’re not entirely sure you understand, but you’ll catch on. You nod.
You miss the moment when the previously picked people kiss. One of them spins the bottle, and it lands on a blonde, muscular girl. Wait, you know her—it’s Abby. She’s wearing the same braid she had before.
“Alright.” Abby reaches out to spin the glass bottle. The material catches the light, casting shimmering reflections around it. It spins for a while before it begins to slow down. You’re sure it’s going to land on your friend on your left, but it turns a little more and lands on you.
“Y/n,” Abby says with the same friendly smile she gave you while rock climbing. ‘So she remembers me,’ you think.
You shift closer to her, feeling everyone’s gaze fixed on the both of you. You try to return the smile she’s offering as you both lean in. You close your eyes when you’re close enough, and she’s the first to press her lips to yours.
Her lips are surprisingly smooth and soft. You feel her kiss your upper lip, so you mirror the motion with her lower one. You catch a hint of vanilla in her scent. The moment is brief, though. She pulls away quickly, and you follow suit. You try to sneak glances at the people around you to gauge their reactions. Some cheer, some laugh—not in a mean way. One reaction stands out, though. It’s Ellie, her face filled with… anger? Her face muscles are tense, her jaw clenched, and she’s definitely looking directly at you. You don’t have much time to analyze as a voice snaps you out of your thoughts.
“Y/n, spin the bottle.” You reach for the cold glass. You spin it, but you no longer care where it lands.
Your mind returns to Ellie. What was that about? You definitely didn’t just imagine her anger. Maybe she was jealous of Abby?
“Damn.” Olivia laughs quietly.
“Did you see how Ellie looked at me?” you whisper back.
“That’s what I meant—she looked furious.”
“Yeah, I’ve got no idea why, though.”
“What? You just kissed her ex.” You look at her in disbelief.
“Abby was dating Ellie?” You widen your eyes, and she nods.
“A few years ago, yeah.”
That makes sense. Ellie is still jealous of her ex, and a girl she despises just kissed her. You feel a strange sense of victory—you managed to annoy her without even trying.
You refocus on the game. Abby is once again in the middle, leaning in to kiss another girl. When did this happen? It doesn’t matter. You glance at Ellie, searching for any sign of anger on her face. This time, aside from her usual scowl, she seems completely unbothered. It doesn’t make sense; Abby is kissing someone else again, but there’s no trace of anger from Ellie. You’re utterly confused.
The game continues as if nothing happened until you feel a pressure in your bladder. You look to your right at Olivia, but she’s deeply engrossed in a conversation with a pretty girl by her side. You decide not to interrupt and simply just let her know where you’re going. She nods in understanding.
You get up and head into the dark woods with only a flashlight in hand. Once you can’t hear the chatter, you figure you’re far enough. Unbuckling your pants, you hope not to encounter any animals, let alone people.
You wipe your hands with a wet wipe after you finish, walking back toward your friends. Oddly, you can’t hear anyone anymore, even as you get closer. You’re sure you took the right path. When you reach the circle, everyone has disappeared. It’s clearly the same spot, evidenced by the worn circle on the ground. You flash your light around, searching for anyone. You come closer and nearly jump out of your skin—a figure is lying on the ground. You squint and, to your horror, it’s Ellie.
“Get this shit off my face!” she screams, squinting her eyes. You turn off the flashlight.
“Where is everyone?”
“They went back to the camp.” Even in the darkness, you can sense her disdain. “Why do you care?”
“And why are you still here?”
“And why should I explain myself to you? It’s none of your business.” Her frustration is palpable. She’s so infuriating.
You decide to head back to camp, but you realize you don’t know the way. You stand there, pondering what to do.
“Why are you still here?” Ellie asks again.
“I don’t know how to get back to the camp,” you admit, and you hear Ellie groan.
You hear a quiet “fuck me” before she stands up. You turn your flashlight back on. It seems she’ll accompany you back to camp. She’s holding something in her hand—a sketchbook. You try to look closer and make out a few blurry sketches of a person and a drawing of a night sky.
“Do you draw?” you ask without thinking. Ellie quickly hides the journal behind her back.
“No, I don’t.” She’s clearly lying.
Okay, whatever. It’s a shame, you think. If she weren’t such a bitch for no reason, she could be a pretty cool person. She dresses nicely, you hate to admit it, but she’s actually attractive and seems to have some interesting hobbies.
You walk in silence, just holding your flashlights. You look up at the night sky. The sky remains cloudless, with stars shining brightly. Some are larger, brighter than others. Some are blinking, as if they might extinguish and never be seen again.
The silence between you and Ellie is suffocating. You take a deep breath before speaking. “Look, that red shining dot is Mars. My dad used to teach me some astronomy stuff.”
Ellie actually looks up. “Hate to break it to you, but that’s Antares, not Mars. Mars isn’t even visible in this part of the sky right now. Guess your dad is an amateur.” She says it so nonchalantly, as if she didn’t have to think before speaking.
Mars, Antares, whatever. At least she didn’t tell you to ‘shut the fuck up and never speak to her again’ like she usually does. You decide to pursue the topic. Maybe this conversation could be more than just a few minutes of insults, and besides, you can’t stand the silence.
You didn’t lie—your dad did try to teach you about astronomy, but it was so long ago, you barely remember anything. You try to recall anything he told you about it and speak up again. “Whatever. At least you can see the North Star and the Little Dipper. It’s my favorite star. It’s fascinating that the North Star always stays in the same spot. Did you know it’s one of the brightest stars in the northern sky?” You point to a bright star, pretty sure it’s Polaris. Well, you can’t really see the Little Dipper, but it’s probably somewhere nearby.
“Polaris isn’t in this part of the sky either.” Ellie chuckles, clearly proud of herself. “It’s Spica. Pretty basic stuff. I thought everybody knew that. At least you got the facts right, but if you want to show off, make sure the whole thing is true.”
Her ego is inflated even more than usual. You wish you’d never brought up the topic. What’s worse—and you hate to admit it—is that she seems to know quite a bit about astronomy. Suddenly, Ellie speaks up. She sounds more… lost in her thoughts?
“My favorite star is Tabby’s star. It’s a big mystery for astronomers. You can’t see it now, but it’s blueish. Some scientists think it might be used by aliens as a source of energy because of its unusual energy drops,” she clears her throat, “I mean, whatever, it’s not like I care about stars.” However, her tone betrays a genuine interest.
And that’s the first time she’s spoken to you for so long without offending you. Wow.
You notice you’re close to the camp gate. You feel relieved—you won’t have to endure Ellie’s presence and self-aggrandizement any longer.
You split up without saying another word.
Finally, you find your roommates, and you don’t bother hiding your annoyance. “Why did you leave me in the woods?!”
“Y/n? Sorry, we thought you’d already left with someone or something,” Leah, a girl from your room, apologizes.
Right, you didn’t inform the girls from your room about leaving, just Olivia.
“And where’s Olivia?”
“Oh, she’s a little busy with that girl at the moment…” Emma looks suggestively to your left, and as you follow her gaze, you see Olivia clearly flirting with the same girl from earlier. You’ll have to talk to her once she’s done.
“But you’re back in one piece, after all,” Leah says again.
“Yeah, but at what cost?” You dramatically roll your eyes. “Ellie had to walk with me because I didn’t know the way.”
“That’s pretty nice of her, isn’t it?”
“No, I mean yes, but she was being a bitch, as always.”
“Oh, I know. I saw the way she looked at you when you kissed Abby!” So not only you and Olivia noticed!
“I mean, I probably wouldn’t be too thrilled if someone kissed my ex…”
“Abby and Ellie were a couple?” Leah asks, shocked.
“Yeah, why do you think Ellie is acting like such an ass around the main counselor?” Emma continues. “A few years ago, Ellie broke up with Abby. It was a big deal at the camp. Rumor has it Abby cheated on Ellie with a guy—Owen, I think.”
It all makes sense now. You swear the click in your head was so loud it could’ve been heard by everyone. Ellie broke up with Abby, so she wants to get back at her. That’s pretty petty.
“Why does she keep coming back here if that’s what happened?”
“She still has friends here and knows everyone. But honestly, I don’t know either.”
Well, she shouldn’t concern you. You push her out of your mind and try not to think about her again.
You can hear the counselor blowing whistles from afar, and after a few minutes, the camp director announces, “The Treasure Hunt is over,” right, you forgot about the Treasure Hunt, “and the winners are Ryan and Max from the third group. Good job!” The crowd cheers.
You sigh and look around as the counselors line everyone up and start counting heads. A few people are missing, but after a minute or two, they all return from the dark woods accompanied by counselors. Your friends were right—everyone made it back safely. That’s quite impressive.
You walk back to your cabin with your roommates and some other campers, gossiping about everything that happened tonight. When you arrive at your room, everyone is so tired they immediately head to bed, forgetting any pre-sleep chatter.
***
It’s the next morning. When you open your eyes, you remember everything from the night before—Abby, Spin the Bottle, Ellie… You can’t quite explain it, but when Ellie talked about the stars last night, she seemed… different? It’s strange to say, considering she only said a few sentences and managed to offend you in half of them. But it’s like she revealed another side of her to you. She doesn’t seem like the type to discuss nerdy interests, at least not until yesterday.
The day passes like usual. You’ve already been to archery, basketball, and now it’s time for biking. You would never have guessed that biking would be your choice among all the available activities, but Olivia’s convincing made it sound promising. Apparently, if you’re nice enough to the counselor, they might take you to a shop outside of the camp, in the nearest village. Sure, there’s a store on the camp, but its prices are outrageous, and their selection is limited to sugar-free imitations of real food.
You arrive at the bike shed with Olivia. You’re not really focused on your surroundings, too absorbed in laughing at Olivia’s story, until you reach one of the bikes. Just as you’re about to take it, you notice someone else’s hands on it. You look up and, of course, they’re Ellie Williams’. Her auburn hair is tied in a bun, spilling out of her helmet and covering her freckled face.
You brace yourself for another round of insults, but to your surprise, she drops her gaze when your eyes meet, removes her hands from the bike, turns around, and walks away to find another vehicle. The odds of a meteor striking the camp right now seem more likely than this.
For the next minute, you expect her to return and scold you for taking her bike, but nothing happens.
The rest of the activity is uneventful. Instead of visiting the shop, you go to a different spot by the waterfall and take a twenty-minute break to play cards with other campers. Ellie doesn’t join you; she spends the time talking to her friend. She doesn’t even look at you the whole time.
Tonight’s evening activity is team challenges. You’re divided into groups of twelve and compete in various games. You’re lucky to be in a group with some of your friends. Ellie is there too. It’s as if fate insists on you two crossing paths. Except this time, Ellie seems determined to avoid you. She stays out of your way—sitting out the Capture the Flag challenge and Tug-of-War, and then disappearing when she swaps groups with another girl.
You discuss it with Olivia later. “It’s just weird how she went from being a total asshole to suddenly avoiding me!”
“I mean, I’d be happy if I were you. She finally stopped bothering you. Maybe she just got bored of being a bitch?”
That does sound rational. You’re not even sure why you care so much.
“You’re right. I should be glad she finally let it go. But she even hid from me during the challenges today. I mean, she seems to love competing and gloating after winning…”
“Y/n, I don’t want to sound rude, but have you considered that maybe it isn’t about you? Maybe she’s having a bad day, or she’s upset about something else,” Olivia says suddenly. You think about it and feel a little embarrassed. She’s right—the world doesn’t revolve around you. Ellie’s behavior could be due to anything. Maybe that counselor she was flirting with earlier? Or Abby? “You seem like you can’t get her out of your head, though.” Olivia giggles.
“What? No, I totally hate her.” You roll your eyes and join her giggles.
After that, Olivia excuses herself and disappears to meet with that girl from yesterday. Seems like they're practically inseparable since the Treasure Hunt.
You go back to the cabin on your own, where you meet your other friends.
***
Another day passes by. Everything seems normal, Ellie doesn’t bother you anymore. From the meanest bitch you’ve met, she turned into someone who seems afraid to even talk to you. At first, you wonder if anything has happened. No one changes so drastically without a reason. You even ask a person or two if they know what happened, when you realize it’s not your problem. You’re overreacting, she might be just in a bad mood, it’s only been a couple of days.
It's evening already. After a day full of activities, you have hungrily thrown yourself at the pancake plate. You and your roommates are excited for tonight’s evening activity, it’s a bonfire; you can’t wait for the s’mores, singing and gossiping by the bonfire.
You’re leaving the dining hall, when someone runs up to you and pats you on the shoulder.
You turn around and see it’s Abby, smiling as always. You smile when you see her, too.
“Hey y/n, how you doing?” She starts walking next to you, you can feel a faint scent trailing behind her. It’s like a mix of fresh forest air and vanilla, probably it’s her shower gel.
“I can’t wait for the campfire tonight,” you admit.
“Right… That Treasure Hunt night was fun, wasn’t it?” Memories of that night flood your mind again. Looking at Abby, you remember Spin the bottle game, your kiss.
“Yeah, except the fact I had to walk back to the camp with Ellie by my side.” You sigh and look at Abby, her brows furrow a little. Right, you probably shouldn’t have mentioned Ellie to Abby. “God, sorry, I probably shouldn’t be talking about her…”
“What?” Abby seems genuinely confused.
“I mean, you guys seem to still have some unresolved stuff going on…”
“What? No, we’re totally cool now.” Abby laughs it off. Her face is relaxed, she seems to be telling the truth. “Want to sit down?” Abby points in a direction and your gaze follows her finger. She’s pointing at just some overgrown bushes.
“In the bushes?” You don’t understand.
“No, there’s a bench inside,” Abby chuckles. Right, you remember now - it’s the spot Olivia showed you earlier.
“Oooh, right. Sure…” As you walk closer with Abby by your side, you remember the things your friend told you about this spot. Like a romantic hideout or something?
You start wondering if Abby took you here purposely, knowing about this place’s reputation. It’s not like you don’t like Abby… Sure, she’s attractive, kind and stuff, you’re just not interested in her in that way… Maybe she got the wrong idea of you two after the kiss? You probably should tell her what you feel.
You fight your way through the thorny plants and both sit down on the wooden bench.
“So, as I said, me and Ellie are fully over.” When you’re just about to pick up the feelings topic, Abby starts talking. Guess you will have to try another time.
“Are you sure? Because I thought that when we kissed that night, Ellie got, like, super pissed off,”
“Really? I mean, it wasn’t about me, for sure.” Abby shakes her head. Well, if it wasn’t about Abby, then about what? You realize you’re sitting pretty close to Abby. Did she move closer to you? Abby puts her hand up and brushes a strand of hair behind your ear.
“Your hair is so pretty,”
When you’re just about to respond, someone comes up to you, their steps are heavy.
“Abby? Y/n?” A familiar voice reaches your ears. Not in a calm tone, though. You quickly jump away from Abby and look up. At first you think it might be Olivia, but it’s someone much more unexpected. It’s Ellie.

As the sky slowly started to light up from the rising sun, I too woke up, doona tossed and half falling of the bed and pillows scattered all over the mattress and floor.
I really need to throw some of them out. I thought to myself slowly sitting up in my comfortable bed reaching for my phone to turn off the obnoxious alarm that I dreaded every morning. Groaning I scrambled out from the twisted blankets and headed for my bathroom grabbing my towel on the way.
I was a morning person really, just after I had my shower.
The warm water jolted out of the shower head before reaching my hair, feeling the relaxing water running through my hair and on to my scalp before escaping down the rest of my body was always my favourite part of showers. Washing the shampoo out of my hair I was remined of what had happened yesterday in the alley with Jimin and his...friends? Family? I wasn't sure on who they were, but Jimin trusted them, and I trust Jimin.
They way they were all living in that small alley put me off, that was why Jimin always went through the alleys, because that's where he lived. Appling conditioner to my hair I continued to think about the events for yesterday. After I left, by the time I made it back to the café it would have been late afternoon.
How long was I out for in the alley with Jimin?
I dragged myself through the back door, fatigue plaguing me just wanting to go home and sleep and shower the dirt off me. Walking to the counter, I lean over, looking into the sink, the plates from earlier gone, washed, dried, and put away. I turn the tap on ready to wash my hands before a stern voice sounded.
"Where have you been?!"
I spun around scared out of mind only the see Seoyeon, her arms crossed over her chest, a stern look on her face holding anger, annoyance, and most of all concern. Staring back at her I didn't know what to say or do and it seemed she didn't know either.
Her eyes slightly soften realizing the state I was in, hastily she made her way over to me engulfing me in a hug before pulling back and looking over me. She stopped when she noticed my scrapped knees and hands before looking up at me, sooner than I could stop her she pulled the neck of my top down to the right spotting the forming bruise from where I had hit the ground after Namjoon had shoved me. A gasp left her mouth at the sight before she pulled it down further showing the red hand marks from Namjoon, he did not grab me hard enough to bruise but those marks would be there for a bit, maybe a few hours or even a day or two.
She raised her hand covering her mouth lightly tracing the marks before speaking. "Who did this?" The coldness in her voice scared me, I had seen Seoyeon annoyed or mad at rude customer but never had I seen her like this.
"It was just a misunderstanding." I broke my silence.
"A misunderstanding! " She scoffed. "Y/N misunderstandings are when people don't understand. Whoever did this obviously understood what they were doing."
"Really it was! It was my fault. He was just trying to-"
"He?! Y/N we must call someone, this is-"
"No! Seriously, Seoyeon I am fine, and the marks will go away in a day or two, you do not have to call anyone. Don't worry, I just fell over and landed on my shoulder." I spoke sternly hoping she would drop it before giving her a reassuring smile.
"But-, I-, Ugh fine, I'll drop it. Just so you know, whoever did this to do, I do not like them" She grumbled. "Now tell me where you were, you completely disappeared and left me to manage the shop, Nali and Haewon were great help though."
I smiled at her as I began to tell her most of what had happened leaving out exactly where the alley way itself was and a few other details.
Stepping out the bathroom I started to tidy up my bed before making my way to the kitchen grabbing something to eat before heading to work. I only had 2 a bedroom apartment in the complex despites my mother's complaints and wanting to buy me a 'Nice big house, out of the city'. I told her that I did not need such a big house for just me and wanted to buy my first place myself. So, we settled on this apartment, it was the perfect size for me and wasn't too far away from where we opened the café.
Seoyeon's parents and my parents worked in the same business and got along well, both our families would spend holidays together which naturally resulted in me and Seoyeon developing the friendship we have today.
Luckily traffic isn't too bad this early in the morning, the café had to be open early in the mornings for the breakfast rush which meant I would have to wake up extra early to make it and open shop. Arriving at the café I noticed all the lights were on, walking in I could hear the radio and the music meaning Seoyeon had arrived before me and had started setting up.
The bell chiming must have gotten Seoyeon attention as I saw her head poke out from the kitchen door a smile on her face and some flour in her hair. Stifling a laugh, I walked over to her placing my bag down on the counter joining her in the kitchen.
"What- Seoyeon how did you even manage to do this?" I giggled looking at all the flour on the bench and on the floor, not to mention the flour in her hair on her face.
"Shut up" She grumbled back at me hiding her smile.
We continued to work in the kitchen together catching up on anything that had happened to us recently, I was baking some pastries and muffins while Seoyeon was cleaning up her mess from earlier, soon enough the breakfast rush started, and we were swamped with customers.
Tumblr media
I was in the kitchen baking some cheesecake while assembling some savory croissants to put in the display case since they tend to run out quickly, we had been busy today, so I had kind of lost track of time. Finishing the croissants, I went over to the sink to wash my hands, as I was drying them, I looked out the window only to see Jimin waiting patiently near the table.
Crap
I looked up at the time only to see my lunch break was almost an hour ago, he must have been waiting for me. It seemed Jimin had giving up on waiting as I saw him frown before turning around and start walking away, quickly finishing drying my hands I run out the door yelling.
Jimin turned around at the sound of my voice a grin forming on his face, I walked closer to him and he to me.
"Sorry Jimin, we've been so busy today and I completely lost track of time." Stumbling over my words and rushing them out I explained to Jimin why I was not out here. "Here come inside I'll only be a minute or two."
Before I could think or Jimin could respond I dragged him inside the kitchen with me, letting go of his hand once we were inside, I hastily walked over to the oven opening it and checking the cheesecake, seeing as it was ready, I reached in and pulled it out, setting it on to one of our cooling racks.
Dusting the fake dust off my hands, I start moving the croissants on to a tray to escort them out into the display turning around I remembered Jimin was here, just standing in the middle of the room awkwardly, I pulled over a spare chair for him letting him know I'll just be a minute.
I walked out the front behind the counter where Seoyeon was serving the customers, I placed the tray on top of the display while I opened it and pulled out the board for croissants this caught Seoyeon's attention as I saw her look over to me.
"Y/N you're a life saver, I've had like 12 customers asking for some savory croissants." Seoyeon expressed her gratitude as I started placing the croissants into the display. When I finished I smiled back up at her before heading back into the kitchen where Jimin was sitting on the chair I had got him, he moved it over the bench where I had previously been making the croissants.
I walked over to Jimin apologizing again before heading over to the cooling rack and getting some muffins I had baked earlier and some croissants I had set aside. I tuned back to Jimin "Is there anything specific you'd like?" He looked confused at first before standing up and walking over to me.
"Whatever you choose is okay, I don't mind" He spoke softly, I could tell he was saying that as to not come across as wanting more food.
"Please Jimin, we've got muffins, croissants, biscuits, wraps, whatever you like I promise it's okay." I said gesturing to all the food we have. "I can get you something from out the front too."
Jimin looked over to the front, so I walked over to the door opening it, he didn't seem to want to walk through the door and was staying out of sight from the customers. I bent down at the back of the display showing him all the different labels of foods.
Jimin point at the seasoned pork sandwich which I happily grabbed out of the display case, standing back up again heading into the kitchen before Seoyeon called out for me.
"Y/N could you please grab the next customer?" I mouthed for Jimin to give me a second placing the food on the bench while taking the customer's order. Just as I finished handing him his order, I heard a crash and a squeal from the kitchen.
Oh no, Jimin!
Excusing myself from the customer I ran to back only to find both Jimin and Seoyeon on the floor clearly having run into each other, there were a few bottles rolling about on the floor, Seoyeon was probably restocking the fridge.
I bent down and helped Seoyeon up before making my way over to Jimin and helping him up as well asking if they were both okay on the way. Jimin immediately started apologizing to Seoyeon and tried picking up all the bottles, he put all the bottles on the counter before looking back at Seoyeon then me.
"Seoyeon, this is Jimin. Jimin, this is Seoyeon" I introduced them both. "Sorry Seoyeon, I was just getting us some lunch."
"It's nice to meet you Jimin."
"U-uh, You too."
"Sorry about running into you Jimin, I wasn't looking." Seoyeon smiled. "Anyways, I have to fill up this fridge and then get back to serving the customers, it was nice meeting you."
Seoyeon picked up the bottles smiling at Jimin before heading over to the fridge, I quickly raced out apologizing to the customer and giving him his change before grabbing the food and going back into the kitchen. I grabbed Jimin hand as we went out the back to the table and sitting down, I passed Jimin his sandwich.
As we ate, I apologized to Jimin for what happened in the store before we caught up and just chatted for the rest of lunch.

After we finished lunch, I told Jimin to wait while I went back inside, walking over to the far bench I got a small basket that I had prepacked with sandwiches, muffins, croissants, and a handful of biscuits, making sure there were 7 savory and 7 sweet foods plus some extra biscuits.
Prancing back outside I happily handed Jimin the basket, at first, he tried to open but I told him not to open it and wait until he got back, sceptically Jimin looked at me but kept the basket anyway. I knew if Jimin found out what was in that basket before he left, he would not have taken it. I smiled waving goodbye to Jimin wishing him a good rest of his day, before heading back inside the shop just as Nali and Haewon showed up for their shifts.
I wasn't sure how Jimin and his pack would react to the food, but I hoped they would except it.
As Jimin arrived back at the alley the other boys were all sitting round on the ground or couch. "I'm back guys." Jimin announced. All the boys looked up at him hoping he brought back some food like usual but seeing the small basket rather than the regular food bandana was odd.
"Did Y/n give you food today?" Jungkook questioned hopefully looking at the basket and Jimin, Jin elbowed him in the side for asking.
Jimin walked over towards the middle on the group placing down the basket and sitting down. "I'm not sure, she told me not to look inside until I got back." This peaked the leader's interest as he came over to Jimin and the basket standing up next to Jimin, some of the others also moved closer to see the basket.
Jimin slowly peeled back the covering on the basket, gasping at what was inside, he slowly put in hand in the basket and pulled up a beef sandwich. "It’s full of food." He whispered in disbelief.
"She wouldn't."
"She did."
All the other members also looked in the bag gasping before pulling out more sandwiches, wraps, croissants, and muffins.
"Oh my, this-this is amazing."
Tears began to pool in some of the hybrid's eyes, never experiencing such kindness especially from a human, this food would keep them going, not having had a meal in who knows how long.
"Why would she do this...?"
The pack handed out and sorted through the food, exchanging with each other for what they preferred before digging in, feeling well fed and full for the first time in a long time.

Jimin's visits continued every day, some days when I was running late, he'd come wait inside sharing greetings with Seoyeon while I finished working before heading out for lunch. I would always send Jimin home with enough food for himself and his six other friends whom I'd recently learnt were in his pack, not that I'd seen any of them since that day, occasionally along with the food I'd put a small sticky note in the basket and some drinks. The café had been super busy recently so most days Jimin would stay inside with me while I finished up and he was more than welcome to, despite the number of times me and Seoyeon had told him that he can just come in he always knocked on the door and waited for us to open it.
Today didn't seem much different than the rest, once again the café was busy, not so bad we needed to call someone in to help but enough to keep us busy with little down time. We currently had a special menu item on which was proving to be extremely popular, so much so that I contemplated added it to the new menu permanently.
But due to the popularity that meant I spent most of my day making more of it in the kitchen. Eventually a knock sound at the door, knowing who it was I quickly put down what I was doing and made my way over to the door. Opening the door, I started welcoming Jimin without really paying attention until I realized it wasn't just Jimin.
"Hey Jimin, sorry we're swamped today. New item on the menu and-" Finally looking at Jimin I realized that behind him stood Jungkook the bunny hybrid from his pack.
"Oh, Hi Jungkook." I said slightly confused.
"I hope it's okay I brought him Y/n, He wanted to see you again." Jimin confessed looking behind him when talking about Jungkook who just coyly grinned showing off his bunny like teeth.
"Yeah, of course that's okay." I let him know before stepping aside welcoming them in. "Come on in guys, I'm just making something."
They followed in behind me as I walked over to the stove stirring the mix to stop it from burning. I could hear behind me chairs moving so Jimin and Jungkook must have taken a seat on the spare chairs we have in the kitchen. Turning to the table I went back to what I was doing before they'd both arrived, grabbing the knife I began to cut the strawberry pie in to the appropriate sizes then moving it to separate them.
I went over the fridge grabbing out the whipped cream bag and fresh strawberries putting them down next to the pie and grabbing the chocolate piping bag from the stove. Drizzling the white chocolate over the pies making sure to miss two at the end, I then piped some cream onto each one, topping it off with a fresh strawberry.
Moving them all onto a tray I left three behind before heading out the front smiling at the boys on the way, pushing through the door into the front I put the pies into the display before heading back to the kitchen. I plated the pies that I left over, grabbing some forks, a banana milk and some juice and then I joined the boys, giving them the food and drink.
Sighing as I sat down finally off my feet, I looked to see Jungkook questionably only look at Jimin as if asking permission before Jimin nodded and Jungkook started eating and Jimin followed shortly. We sat in silence for a bit before Jungkook spoke up.
"This is really good! Thank you." He gushed over the pie.
"You're welcome, I'm so happy you like it. It's proving to be pretty popular, I might need to add it to the permanent menu." I beamed back at him.
"Do you think you could pack more of those really good carrot and apple muffins please? They are my favourite." Jungkook said with a large smile on his face before it twisted into pain and annoyance as Jimin had jabbed him in the ribs before looking at me apologetically. I returned Jungkook previous smile saying, "Of course I can."
"Actually, we are closing soon, if you guys want to wait around you can choose whatever you'd like, I feel bad that I never asked you guys and just kind of chose an assortment and stuck with it." I said sheepishly towards the end.
I saw Jungkook's eyes light up at what I had said, an unspoken agreement between us passed as we finished our drinks and pies waiting for shop to close.

Having Jungkook join me and Jimin for lunch had become a regular thing, he didn't come every day, but he came often. So, it was no surprise when I opened the door to see the bunny hybrid whom I'd grow accustomed to but what was surprising was the worrisome look on his face and the lack of a certain dog hybrid who hadn't missed a lunch in weeks.
"Hey Jungkook, I-" My eyes passed over his head to see the white tops of a pair of fluffy orange ears. "Hoseok? Wait where's Jimin?"
Seeing how distressed they looked I began to worry what was wrong, but I didn't have much time to think before Jungkook spoke.
"We need your help."

To get away
Chapter 3; Roomies and Rumors
Part 1, part 2, part 3.5, part 4
Tumblr media
You were afraid to turn your back. You didn’t want to let your roomie know you were awake. You felt him sit on the end of the bed to kick his shoes off. He didn’t feel as light as the sailor would be—nor the smith, so they were crossed off. And he didn’t feel as heavy as the old man or rancher would be… then, you heard a sigh… and he spoke.
“Can’t believe he wouldn’t room with me… but whatever, the champion’s your best friend now. Sure. Yeah. Thanks, traveler.”
That was the vet. Clear as day. You breathed in deep—but tried to keep it slow so he wouldn’t realize you were awake…
“You don’t have to pretend to be asleep, you know. I can tell you’re tensed up.”
So much for that… you sat up tiredly.
“I don’t like this situation any more than you do, but it’s just for a night. Two, at most. So just scoot over and we can handle this like adults.” He said, taking his armor and chainmail off.
You nodded quietly and scooted closer to the wall.
“And you can speak, you know. I’m not going to yell at you.” He rolled his eyes with a scoff.
“Sorry… I was just under the impression you didn’t exactly like me…” you spoke quietly, still worried that at the slightest chance to get upset, he’d take it.
“It’s not that I don’t like you.” He slid into bed next to you. “It’s that I don’t trust you. You arrive here and claim to not know how you got here, you have this mark on your hand.” He grabbed your wrist—very gently, actually—and made note of the triforce on your hand. “Which is the exact mark we heroes have, except on the opposite hand, and…I don’t know you. I don’t know your motives, if any, and I don’t know what’s to come of this. So for tonight and possibly the next night, we’re stuck sleeping beside each other. We’ll just have to take it with a grain of salt.”
That quieted you down again. He cleared his throat.
“So… goodnight.” He put a pillow between you and laid down, turning the lamp off. You sighed and laid down, turning over. The next morning, as you were still sound asleep, the vet was turned towards you, looking at you. He had a million thoughts running through his head. Who were you exactly? How did you get here? How do you have that mark?
Why couldn’t he bring himself to not feel for you?
He didn’t trust anyone besides his fellow heroes, and Hadn’t trusted anyone with his very guarded heart since Marin, and you know where that landed him. Heartbroken and alone. He was determined to never feel that again, and certainly not because of some mysterious stranger that was dropped in their world, unannounced and without reason. Alarms were going off in his head from that, bright red flags waving…
But he couldn’t hate you. He couldn’t hate you, cast you out, reject you.
Or at least, not directly, anyway. But he could distance himself from you. Put walls between you. Try to protect himself and the others, especially the traveler. And that’s what he was determined to do. He got up, frustrated with himself for lying there so long. He slipped his boots on and left the room.
“There you are. We were wondering when you’d get up.” The rancher grinned, crossing his arms.
“Yeah? Well it’s kind of hard to get out of a real bed after sleeping on the hard ground for weeks, forgive me if I want to pretend I’m home.” He jabbed back, the tiniest grin on his face.
“Is Y/n up yet?” The traveler asked, sending a shock through the vet.
“She’s still asleep. You’re welcome to try getting her up if you want.” He shrugged, rolling his eyes.
“Let her sleep.” The old man said. “She needs the sleep, I’m sure. Yesterday was rough on her.”
“Yeah she’s not too suited for travel, is she?” The sailor thought out loud. Unbeknownst to the chain, you were standing just outside your room, on the landing above where they were seated in the dining area.
“We could just leave her here, you know. The towns are safe. They’re always safe. She’d be better off here than with us. She can’t fight, has trouble walking long distances… she’d thrive in this lazy town.” The vet suggested. Your heart sank. It made you want to run. You wanted to run and hide. Tears pricked your eyes and clouded your vision. You didn’t hear the others protests to that idea, your heart was pounding too loudly in your ears, the blood that rushed your head made your ears and face hot.
The decision to leave felt right, even if it wasn’t. Not only was your vision clouded, but your judgement as well. Clouded by every hurt feeling in the book. You slowly crept down the stairs and out the door. If they didn’t want you here, they wouldn’t have you. You felt burdenous to them anyway. They had enough on their plate, too much to add you on top of that anyway. So, unarmed and stupidly, you walked along the edge of town with tears in your eyes. Your chest felt heavy and your head felt like someone was taking an ice pick to it all around. Your eyes burned, the edges of your eyelids stinging and feeling tighter with each blink you took to clear your vision from tears.
You didn’t notice the rustling in the bush…
