ok am i the only one who thinks ISAT and Splatoon Side Order are similar??? like idk do you see it..???
i suppose so! they both have repeating events, game loops or something- i learned a bit about it in game design club, not quite roguelite but yes both games are roguelite-esque
been messing around with my drawing process so i decided to do a bunch of cephalopod group shots to get a bit more confident with it
[IMG ID: Image 1 is a group drawing of Shiver, Big Man, Frye, Callie, and Marie from Splatoon. The first four are posing for a photo with Marie in the back. They are in Alterna with the buildings and the hole in the sky visible in the back.
Image 2 is a group drawing of Agents 3, 4, and 8 in casual wear in an apartment all posing for a selfie. Various objects are littered in the background with a backpack, skateboard, and part of a switch being present by 8.
Image 3 is a a drawing of Pearl and Marina dressed in casual wear taking a selfie at night. /END ID]
The Triple Splashdown is a modified version of the special weapon used in Inkopolis, arriving in Splatoon 3's Chill Season 2023. Rise into the air and pound the ground with two fearsome fists of ink, generating up to three explosions!
Could u rip the splatana stampers swinging animations? Both the weapon and the player animations
holy hell okay so the splatana wiper has just a bouncy animation but the splatana stamper has this which looked super funny. theres a second animation the stampers have, where it swaps between two models which are offset half from eachother to make it look like it's spinning fast. this plus a bunch of particle effects and shifting the uv map one square over every other frame makes it looks like it's spinning, really cool!
also really sorry taking the videos and making gifs sucks but here, first line is swinging to the left, second is swinging to the right
interesting thing is that they hold the splatana with both hands, but at the end of the swing, they only hold it with one hand.
charge swings use a different animation, theres even a left sided charge shot as well, which is the second row
also another thing to note, if you charge on the right side, they hold it with both hands, but on the left side, they only hold it with one
so. unsuprisingly, the inklings and octolings are mostly right handed and probably not ambidextrous (both marie and shiver are ambidextrous)
