turbo is connected to the last piece of his code in the whole arcade - a trophy he gifted to felix in mid 80s as a symbol of him genuinely caring about their relationships on par with being the best racer. felix also gave him one of his medals and both kept their gifts next to other rewards, but when roadblasters and turbotime were unplugged, the medal was gone with everything else

now, after burning in cola-lava turbo is basically dead, but scraps of his code still were intertwined with the trophy (after all, it was his first winner's cup, but felix never knew about it), giving turbo an opportunity to exist as a shadow incapable of interacting with anything and anyone besides felix, who kept the trophy even after the roadblasters incident

I think there's something to be said for fanfiction that loves canon in a way that’s rude. Isn't he surrounded by non-goblins who cannot think outside their cultural perceptions of what a name is supposed to be? Riz both as a name and as a person seems short & lesser but don't worry, he's really something greater, something larger and longer than can be expressed with his native name. As if something small cannot be powerful and important without secretly being large. As if there is only one way to be great. It's like Sklonda said, his name is Riz. Back in book 5 when they’re stuck in the wall and they see Quan Yizhen’s head sticking out Xie Lian is like “that was probably Qi Ying!” and Hua Cheng doesn’t immediately know what he’s talking about. Hua Cheng, guy with all knowledge of the known universe (or at least the heavens) at his fingertips, who can recite centuries old poems and teach himself to read dead languages and historical contexts nobody in the past millennia has experienced, has to think for a second before he can remember who the fuck “Qi Ying” is. This is literally The Guy whose existence was the center of his best subordinate’s main trauma, and he knows all the context to their falling out, yet nowhere in his eidetic memory is he “Qi Ying”, nor is he “Quan Yizhen” nor is he even “the martial god of the west”. When Hua Cheng remembers him, it’s “Oh, the one with the curly hair. I guess that was him.” What do you mean “I guess”??? This just shows that Quan Yizhen is such a non-threat, so inconsequential to him or his cause that he didn’t even register a name for the kid, much less a title or role. Everyone else is out here murdering, forging, stealing, backstabbing, while Yizhen is just out here living his best life. Kicking and punching, mid-day napping, no scandals, no need to worry about him. Certified little guy award.

Hey thinking about how in both timelines all Nick ever wanted was to make his father proud. Adapting and modeling his personality after his father, be it Glenn or Jodie. Because the only thing he ever wanted was his father's love. Thinking about how we can assume that Glenn did the same thing to appease Bill. don't wanna derail the post I saw this discussion on- it was all in the notes anyway, so it certainly isn't op's problem. I'm gonna say this with so much love:

Calling somebody a 'theyfab' is not punching up. If someone's being transmisogynistic, say that, or call them a bigot. Naming the tangible harm done to you will always be the most effective thing to do.

The cis people who created that term made it with the explicit intent to mock and insult people's identities. No matter what you mean when you say it, this is its origin and to most people, its only meaning. It describes nothing about the discrimination you face.

People afab are marginalized, especially if they're queer. You cannot "punch up" on a fellow oppressed group. I understand the specific vitriol that they inflict on you hurts.

You don't need a word to call somebody, you need and deserve adequate justice for the tangible harm done to you; and my heart aches that nobody queer- especially trans women- ever seems to receive that.

I'm aware I can't make anybody do anything, so I'm not gonna try to tell you not to use that word. I just want to say it can't ever address, undo, or heal any harm done to you. It can only redirect it.

Then I went around to multiple stores and found you some new underwear too. Grabbed a few pairs for you too because I wasn’t sure what you preferred.” He then hands you a Victorias Secret bag. “then I stopped by another store selling leggings and got you, again a few pairs in different styles and sizes. Anything that doesn’t fit we can just return.” He hands you the last bag and gets ready to walk out, but before doing so, tunes back towards you.

“Oh yeah I got you these too, just incase you’re cranking.” He tosses you a bottle of Tylenol and leaves the bathroom. You sort through the bags and grab what you need.

Once dressed Richboy! Gojo takes the remainder of the bags (bloodied clothes tossed into a bag you had emptied). “I can take these to the car, and then we can continue on here. Or we can leave. it’s up to you.”

“I don’t care.” warming up to this Gojo. who isn’t as consisted and spoiled as you thought. “as long as it’s with you.”

if you are in the US and are at risk of unwanted pregnancy, you should buy mifepristone immediately while it's still legal to mail so you can have it on hand just in case (it should keep for about 2 years). the future of this method of medication abortion is seriously at risk. it is very important that you are prepared for a worst case scenario
