the chainsaw man people are starting to really make me irritated. no i’m not going to reblog your jjk 212 fanart when you write under it that megumi just got treated like aki. sorry to break it to you but megumi’s fate was first hinted in may 2018, half a year before the first chapter of csm was published. i don’t care fujimoto got there first. what’s going on in juju rn isn’t some riding the coattails of csm. it’s very clearly been the plan all along.

Feyre: Rhysand is my mate and I'm telling you this to your face.
Also Feyre: If you try and break my mating bond, I'm going to ruin your life.
Also Feyre: If you drag me back to Spring against my will, I'll destroy everything you love.
Tamlin: Break her mating bond so I can drag her back to Spring and we can start over.
Also Tamlin: I can't believe you destroyed everything I love and ruined my life!

I feel like some people get sooooo tunnel visioned about proving that Black women experience misogynoir and racialised sexism and are treated roughly - they end up saying racist misogynistic things about Black women because they never stopped viewing Black people's bodies are alien . They go from talking about how Black women are treated to essentially saying Black women are those things, so you can't talk about us as full people who are impacted by other issues.
Like that Black woman saying Black women can't do " clean make-up " because we "need" heavy makeup. The white queers making up race science and saying Black women don't fit "eurocentric hormone standards " and have different hormone levels, but right wingers are fascist for thinking they can know people ( read white people's) chromosomes because whites are complex with complex bodies and Black women aren't
A lot of you genuinely think white people are normal humans, and Black women are animals with weird bodies that exist for you to feel better about yourselves, regardless of the reality of your own body and what you actually look like ( probably ugly )
Solidarity and advocating for Black women online often means treating Black women like gods' biological mistakes to be pitied and projected on but never diverse complex human beings.
There are things now said about Black women by people who claim to avodcate for us, that i never saw said by people that decided to let a forum full of Black women years ago learn what ghetto gaggers are ( its gross out racist porn involving Black women) because they thought we thought to highly of ourselves. You're disgusted by us and see us as animals, not sisters, victims, or humans

hi, i was wondering about your opinions on misogyny and misandry?
recently i saw you reblog a post that someone else reblogged from the original post, which essentially said that misandry isn’t real/all men are evil.
i was wondering if you agreed with these statements, because i can’t find the post that you reblogged, and now am curious.
i don’t mean to come across as offensive or rude, but i’d like to know because i have my own personal opinions on the matter, and i’m willing to discuss them if you’re open to it :)
dw you’re not being rude, i’ll just keep this short: 1. i don’t think misandry is real 2. if i reblog something i probably resonate or agree with it to some extent (& honestly i don’t remember reblogging a post like what you stated. i don’t remember everything i reblog) 3. people can believe what they want, including things i disagree with, i don’t control anyone & i’m not God 4. this is a fanfiction account where i talk about kissing fictional people…i’m not particularly interested in discussing my beliefs nor do i think i’m even qualified to do so, especially not on tumblr of all places.

When Black women on the Internet used to talk about how we're treated it was more us saying, I don't feel pretty because im dark, men are harsh to me but these super coons will start talking about skull shapes, saying X is masculine ( this literally never used to be common ) and reaffirming every ugly stereotype about how Black people look as fact and invent some new shit call it masculine because they're so empty they take on the stereotypes of other groups ( like pretending Black women are seen as hairy or pretending Black womanhood is interchangeable with how we talk about gender identity) and you're meant to go along with them because they used a few choice words like " No one protects us" . We know the world is ready and willing to believe any negative thing about us, but you're feeding the fire ? And using the legacy of slavery to pretend something existed in a way they didn't? Do you read ?
You're inventing new, racialised misogynistic ideas about us because you're such a slug of a woman desperate for attention
Sometimes, you have to mind the way you talk about yourself because you're talking about me and other people, too.

Truly fucking insane to me how even some trans people have drunk the gender essentialist koolaid and think that trans men are like, inherently arms of the patriarchy and oppressors. Just like believing all cis men are each, individually responsible for patriarchy. Isn’t the point of feminism that the system and people’s unconscious upholding of the system are the thing to be criticizing?? Gender essentialism is still gender essentialism even if you do it to trans people.
I don’t know why people don’t understand that treating any group as a monolith whose experiences are all the same is like. Bad and harmful. Trans men are men but they are not cis men. Many of us have experienced girl / womanhood enforced on us by society and deeply understand the struggle. I don’t see why it’s harmful to acknowledge the fact that trans men experience misogyny!!!! Lots of trans men haven’t or won’t transition! I promise you even if we are men, see ourselves as men, the vast majority of society will not.
I really hate infighting and “calling out” whole sections of the community, and I guarantee I’m not talking about 90% of trans women who are normal but that other 10% act like trans men have betrayed women by “choosing to be men”. Isn’t that like, 1) literally gc / terf logic and 2) implying that trans people just up and choose their gender one day (not saying that some don’t but like. Being trans is a deeply personal thing that’s often not a choice.)
This is thinking that makes trans men guilty to be trans men. We’re used to hearing it from radfems but to hear it from people who are supposed to be our allies??? From people who we have something so deeply in common with? It fucking sucks!!!
#sorry I just saw three whole Twitter posts that literally were like ALL TRANS WOMEN ARE BEAUTIFUL AND FUNNY AND AWESOME#and all trans men are stupid and stinky and bad#trans men continue to be punching bags every three months for some fucking reason#I’m not disagreeing that trans women are put under a lot more pressure societally and that fucking sucks#but literally whenever trans men speak up we ARE dismissed.#our struggles may not be the same but they still fucking exist#this is mostly a vent but feel free to (civilly and constructively) talk to me about where my blind spots might be#I’m taking American cultural anthropology and we just learned the word intersectionality and I don’t think people truly understand that#the intersection between “being men’ and “being raised as female’ is very real#I think what that male model said was stupid in terms of like#thinking that trans women are to blame for being so visible#but what he said about the general way people are raised in gendered ways is not bullshit.#culture affects us from literally all angles and it’s wild to think that a trans man could just flip a switch one day and forget#being constantly put down and told to be kind and put others feelings above your own and be scared of being assaulted and blah blah blah#being raised as a girl shit. unless you transitioned as a child and had super supportive parents that shit is REAL#my post#trans#jfc even if you were raised in the right gender medical misogyny affects us too! our bodies are policed just like women’s are#also lol I’m not saying I just learned the term or idea intersectionality it’s just interesting to learn about it academically

god i shouldn't have gone on twitter i just ended up seeing a bunch of tweets about the whole "rtd didn't want to put dt in jodie's clothes" thing and now i'm just. mad. it was bad enough that they had jodie regenerate into dt but that they changed the clothes too because they didn't want to put a man into "women's clothes" makes it SO MUCH WORSE

i think my only actual complaint is that barbie was called a facist? calling her something more sexist or from the mainstream concept of barbie, bimbo/slut/gold-digger/naive/anorexic/tart, would've made the points hit harder imo

This is one of the most sexist and pointless disgusting comments I’ve ever had to respond to on YouTube… sweeties, THIS is why I am a radical feminist.
Tumblr media
And my response. Like this shit literally makes me so angry. This person is arguing in a comment thread that argues for trans women in intimate female spaces such as locker rooms, bathrooms, etc oh, and trans women writing fiction about lesbian relationships… yuck.
