I know that the early, non-Diasomnia stories aren't really your thing, but are you reading the novels at all?
I have been following some of the fan translations and the second book seems intense! Would love to hear what you think about them.
thank you! 💚💚💚 I'm not really sure why you think I don't like the earlier arcs though, I love pretty much all the characters and their storis! (I think 5 and 1 are my favorite of the past episodes, though 6 infected me with the Shroud brainrot something fierce.) I just...ESPECIALLY love diasomnia. :') but there is room in my heart for all of these dweebs! like, who among us is not just as ride-or-die for Adeuce as they are for us.
that said, I don't really follow the other adaptations like the manga (aside from a dip-in just to see the new Yuus) or the novels, though I keep meaning to check them out! I do like seeing the differences between the different forms of media, and how certain things get adapted one way or another! but alas, time/a lack of accessibility stands in our way more often than not. :( someday...someday I will have time to consume all of the media...
[OLD ART ALERT] A COLLECTION OF SCENES FROM THE GILLIONS CATSCRATCH ARC THAT BROUGHT ME GREAT JOY. i love fishy chips especially when its just gillion being delirious and violent and hostile
It will never stop being funny to me that the Titan's Tower incident between Jason and Tim happened right after fucking Jericho did the exact same thing but was way, WAY scarier about it.
JERICHO repeatedly attacks them, endangers civilians, possesses multiple people, is out of his head with rage and sorrow at feeling expendable and feeling like teen vigilantism was what got him and Donna killed. Hell he even shoots Bart through the leg, which fucks him up so bad he has to go through unanesthetized surgery and that trauma prompts a whole ass character growth spurt! Jericho both while possessing Slade and when they fight him in Raven's mind trap thing is like seriously bad news! He's playing for keeps and intent on really hurting them! It takes a full team effort over multiple comics to trap the guy
Then fucking JASON sneaks in ever so carefully, knocks a few of them out, feels a bit bad about even doing that, and has like a waffle house parking lot fist fight with Tim in a party city Robin costume. And what's he do afterwards? He just fucking leaves and never bothers them again! He doesn't wanna kill any of them! He's just a sad wet sack who doesn't know what he's doing with himself
The Teen Titans really do gather around Timmy after their fight lookin at that wall like, "Fucking seriously?? This is the second time this week!"
I have this small, deeply personal headcanon that after his grandmother's passing, Alhaitham's home was so unbearably quiet that he started--just barely, just one or two words--to speak out loud to her as if she was still there.
"I've been accepted to the Akademiya, Grandmother."
"I passed my promotion exams."
"I debated with Haravatat's sage."
Just that, and quiet again.
But one day, it's: "I met someone strange."
"He keeps showing up when I'm trying to study."
"We don't agree on anything. Still..."
"I made a friend."
"Today, Kaveh and I were researching--"
"It's already dark. I didn't realize we spent so long in Razan Garden. Kaveh wanted to hear about my article--"
"He's going to be furious when I tell him the whole point for his portion of the lecture is based on a false predicate--"
The house where his grandmother used to be gets a little louder again; the noise lasts a little longer.
Until one day, when there's no words at all.
One day, when there's just the sound of a single sob, and then a long, long silence.
My headcanon for Marius is that he is a bad psychologist normally but very rarely he will pull out this god tier analysis of someone from not even five minutes of talking. He can tell you about things youve completely blocked out from memory and when you ask him about it he'll say some shit like "The way you blinked" with no other explanation
Aragorn and Arwen taking a walk through Minas Tirith (she's venting about how maglor disappeared again right before el&el were going to drag him to valinor)
(Aragorn has a very good fashion sense, if he was a Noldorin ambassador living in Numenor during the Late Elros Era. Arwen is also very stylish for early Doriathrim royalty. The rest of Gondor got used to it eventually.)
I was thinking about what different Sonic characters' names could be in sign a couple of months ago, since so many people headcanon Sonic knowing sign language, and I ended up making animations for a few!! Here's what I came up with for Sonic!! :D
mp4 version & description for it under the cut!!
[ID:
A video of Sonic The Hedgehog viewed from the waist-up against a green background. Sonic is drawn in a simplistic style, though with tanner patches of skin on his muzzle, ears, stomach, and arms compared to his typical design, and he has curved scars on his chest.
In the video, Sonic is signing his name, comprised of the words ‘fast’ and ‘hedgehog’ in BSL. He signs ‘fast’ by bouncing his index fingers off of each other—his right finger coming down as his left goes up—with the other fingers and thumb curled in. “fast” is written in dark green on the left side of the background as he signs this.
The word in the background changes to “Hedgehog” as he signs the second part. His raised right hand opens up so that his fingers and thumb are all splayed, while the lowered left hand curls into a fist. The left arm moves horizontal in front of his chest, and the splayed right hand lowers to run the heel of the palm across the top of the forearm, to symbolise the spines of a hedgehog. Lifting his right elbow up to move the palm across the other arm obscures the “Hedgehog” lettering slightly.
Sonic's head moves as he signs, spines bouncing up and down and head tilting to the left. While he’s signing, he mouths his name, the first syllable ‘So’ being mouthed during the ‘fast’ sign, and the second syllable ‘nic’ being mouthed during the ‘hedgehog’ sign.
On the right side of the video, next to Sonic’s head, is the artist’s signature—the silhouette of a bongo with the letters BD written inside.
Inspired by @marlindotzip 's comics, I've made a Butch Chilchuck AU: Pretty much everything is the same except Chilchuck is a butch woman instead of a man.
Here are my basic headcanons for Butch Chilchuck:
Chilchuck is a he/him butch queer woman and prefers masculine language being used towards him (though he does like being called his children's mother and dislikes being called a man directly).
He is perfectly fine with people assuming he's a man professionally because it doesn't really matter to him (besides, people take him more seriously when they think he's a man, including other half-foots at the union and its easier to only fight one battle for respect than two)
That being said, he is SUPER proud of Meijack for fighting for respect as both as a half-foot and as a “fem” (by Chil's standard) woman in the same field.
Chilchuck has PCOS which is why he has facial hair as both a tall man and as a dwarf. (Though he developed it AFTER the births of his daughters) He has some facial hair and chest hair as a half-foot too, but shaves fairly regularly when possible.
His wife is trans. They were childhood friends because Chil was too masculine to get along well with the other little girls and his wife was bullied by the “other” little boys for being to feminine. Both not fitting the mold of their assigned genders, they became close friends and eventually fell in love.
Chil was a “teen” mom because he and his wife thought her hormone treatment acted as birth control. That little goof resulted in the twins and their marriage arriving before either hit adulthood.
He eventually got top surgery (or the fantasy equivalent) sometime after they had served their purpose because he thought they got in the way at work and added unnecessary weight. He finds his armor is a lot more comfortable now and he has to pack slightly less clothes as an added bonus.
Chilchuck is naturally a very masculine looking woman with a fairly deep voice. He sometimes jokes with his wife that being as butch as he is is the best possible outcome, as his body would probably make a more feminine woman very insecure.
That being said, Mei has a lot of the same traits and is confident and comfortable in her skin, and is proud to look like her mother.
He understands 100% when people assume he's a trans man, but he has done a lot of introspection on that topic (at his wife's behest as she thought he was an egg for the longest time) and he is confident in his womanhood, even if it looks different than most other women's.
He isn't uncomfortable with feminine clothing but is VERY uncomfortable with the questions and comments he gets when he wears it and generally prefers masculine clothes.
for the ability you get from master koga (creating temporary clones that fight for you), should ganondorf (through who you channel/activate it) multiply himself or should it be koga?
i feel like since gan takes the ability and technically its him who does it (just on your command bc he kinda stuck with you as hes a ghost in the shiekah arm) it should be him but idk if it would remove it too much from who you get it?
adding it as a poll bc people interact more likely with that lol
(edit: bc like .... with koga i wanted him to strike funny poses and all and i cant do that with ganondorf now can i lol --- also its like, hes not taking it away fully fro mthe people, here koga, since they are stil alive so its supposed to be like a part of them more like a connection .... )
