Where is my haunted asylum story? Imagine a corrupted asylum (no, Arkham is a prison so it doesn't count) with bad working conditions and unethical treatments.
Only, the dead (or the ghosts) are rising and extracting revenge on the place but the doctors thought there was a serial killer among them. The higher up tries to hide this from the media but Batman hears wind of it regardless.
Jason was sent to go undercover because he is the least to be regconized.
At the same day, Danny was sent to that particular asylum, courtesy of Vlad.

I've had an odd nostalgia for the Once Upon a Time series of mediocre short-novel-length fairy tale retellings. I've been wanting to read the retelling of "East of the Sun, West of the Moon" from that line.
The trouble is that there is no such book.
Which makes me want to write it.
Unfortunately, the only straightforward traditional retelling of that fairy tale I want to write doesn't fit with that style.
But thinking about it got me excited about that old idea all over again.
