I hope you are well.”  |  “The Spire has fallen. The survivors have dispersed into the wilderness for now. If your former master lives, I do not know where he has gone. Ive complained about acotar's weird plot structure before and I was gonna talk about how I would fix it as well, but then I forgot so Im talking about how I would fix it now
Just get rid of Amarantha, Rhysand's the villain now. He gets her Woman Scorned motivation of being rejected by Tamlin but hes still the high lord of the night court and instead of him ruling over all of Prythian, he basically just torments Tamlin and hes got the spring court locked down with magic so no one can come in or out for help. One idea that I like is that instead of the mask curse, everyone is cursed to just cant stand being near Tamlin, like he comes into a room that a few servants are cleaning and they immediately feel compelled to leave without another word. Idk, the idea is that Rhysands trying to break him through isolation while convincing him that hes unlovable so he'll come crawling right back to him. And then theres obviously still that caveat of 'the curse gets broken if you can find a human whos killed a fae with hate in her heart and get her to fall in love with you, but until then everything stays as is'
From then on, things mostly happen as they do in the book with Tamlin and Feyre bonding except Lucien's not there because of that curse. Or, actually you could still have him around since Feyre wouldnt be affected by the curse, just not anywhere near Tamlin. Oh, I really like the idea of Lucien very begrudgingly coming up to this human girl he dislikes so that he can be like "hey, can you please tell Tamlin that we're still friends and that I still love him even though I cant speak to him" thatd be sweet
(uhhhhhh this got way longer than anticipated, have a readmore)
I think if you still want Rhys to be like, the hot and sexy badboy alternative love interest you could have him corner Feyre whenever shes alone and try to seduce her in order make absolutely 100% sure she never breaks that curse. But its not working, she just keeps bonding with Tamlin and he notices that shes getting more and more comfortable with him and seems to be slowly falling in love with him and hes getting nervous, because Rhysand is absolutely not above just coming in and hurting her in order to torment him some more so he sends her away, again, like in the book
Then Feyre comes back and maybe she finds that the spring court is now shrowded in eternal night for 💫Atmosphere💫 and Tamlin has submitted to Rhysand. But hes still not quite satisfied because Tamlin basically begged him not to hurt Feyre because he loves her, and Rhysand just needs him to say that he doesnt love her after all. And Feyre comes in and demands that her high lord be set free and Rhysand issues the same three trials as Amarantha, I dont think he should give her the riddle because idk, i always thought it was really weird and stupid to have these trials AND a riddle, just pick one. And Im picking the trials because Rhysand is a sadistic mf. I dont think the trials should happen over the course of three months though, I think they should happen over the course of three days with one trial a day, because Rhysand is very confident that Feyre will just die and hes getting a little impatient, like he just wants to have his Tamlin already yknow
And then she completes the trials, Rhysand has to release them and thats the end of the story. I think this would work best as a standalone, but if you still wanted to make it a trilogy and you still wanted to have the Feysand bargain, maybe Feyre could completely break down during that last trial where she has to kill those innocent fae because shes bonded with them so much (in this version she would get to know more of the household than just Alis and Lucien) and she cant bring herself to do it and Rhysand is all smug like "do you give up?" but then Feyre pulls herself together and goes to stab the first one, and he realizes that she might actually do it for Tamlin's sake and that all of his plans are about to be ruined, so hes basically like "okay, you know what, Ive changed my mind, I'll lift the curse and I'll leave you and Tamlin be, but you'll have to agree to this bargain with me where you have to stay at my court for two weeks every months" the idea is basically that if he cant have Tamlin's love, hes gonna take Tamlin's beloved, and Feyre agrees
Idrk how the next book could play out from that point. I have this image in my head of like. okay so, one of my favorite obscure dark romance dynamics is ancient evil vampire/newly turned evil vampire/kind-hearted innocent human guy, bonus points if the newly turned vampire and the innocent human guy were in a perfectly normal loving relationship before the other vampire entered their life. And what Im pitching is basically the fae-version of that for Feylinsand. Im invisioning Feyre having a corruption arc and slowly falling for Rhysand but she also still loves Tamlin and Rhysand also still loves him so they entrap him in this fucked up and evil but also hot and sexy poly relationship. That might be a little self-indulgent but idk man, this whole series is built on self-indulgence and its not even interesting because sjm has the most boring sex fantasies ive ever read. which yknow, im not necessarily judging, I just dont like it. Also actually nvm I think it would be funnier if Feyre didnt fall for Rhysand, like its not a thing of her coming down to his level so she can kiss him, she turns evil for completely unrelated reasons
Another thing you could do if you wanted to make it a trilogy, but maybe one thats less focused on sex because what else are you gonna do with a hot evil polycule, is you have Rhysand take Tamlin to the night court which is like, all the way on the opposite side of Prythian. So then the first book could be everything I just described except when Feyre comes back to the spring court, she finds that Tamlin is gone and it ends right there, on a cliffhanger. The next book would be her and Lucien and maybe Alis or some other fae she befriended traveling all across Prythian to get to the night court and we see a bunch of Prythian because godddd I despise the fact that in the actual acotar series, we're just trapped in the night court for 4 books and barely get to see anything outside of the night court, nay, velaris. And then the third book would be them trying to find Velaris, which would be a secret city in the sense that no one knows where it is but like people do know the name and that it does exist somewhere, and Feyre either does the trials and frees Tamlin that way or maybe theyll get the Illyrians on board to just kill him and that breaks the curse idk
And yeah, thats it, this got way longer than I thought. I was just kinda spitballing here because again, I dont like the first book's structure at all and I think the existence of Hybern is so unecessary. Like, Prythian has seven courts with plenty of potential for interesting politics to happen between them, whyyyyyy does there need to be a kingdom full of evil people for them to unite against?? I hate it
Anyway, Ive been thinking about this idea for a little while but I had no plans for fleshing it out in any way, but now that ive written all that down Im thinking of maybe cleaning all of that up and actually making it a whole rewrite at some point. I make no promises though, I suck ass at writing longer stories. So until then, let me know what you think of this

random thought. whenever i read g stans anti elriel arguments it seems that they have never read ANY book before (let alone a romance book) because their arguments are so stupid? they debunk elriel by saying 'its only lust!!!' as if smut/NA books dont exist, 'oh he has feelings for her? he didnt admit that to rhys' as if Romantic Heroes™ admit their feelings before their own book and to someone who isnt their LI, 'hes toxic and abusive and controlling' as if Romantic Heroes™ arent shown to be over-protective in books, 'he hasn't planned anything for their future!!' as if Emotionally Stunted Romantic Heroes™ in books dont fall in love involuntarily and against their judgement, 'his thoughts about her are VULGAR' as if sex and love don't coexist, 'he's just jealous of rhys, cas and lucien he doesn't really want her' as if Jealousy™ and Envy™ isn't the most common thing in romance, 'they (mostly she) don't have enough development to have a book' as if development and progress doesnt happen in their own book itself, 'they are so different from each other' as if Opposites Attract™/Grumpy+Sunshine™/Bad Boy+Good Girl™ aren't the most popular tropes in romance genre (clearly these ppl did not have the 2014 wattpad phase), 'az needs therapy before he can be in a relationship' as if Damaged Romantic Heroes™ arent themost in-demand type of characters since centuries, 'his shadows disappear around her they hate her so no elriel' as if shadows (not just in sjm universe) don't have negative connotations, 'well rhys said no and az have the necklace to gw¥n so elriel isn't happening' as if Forbidden Love™ and Misunderstanding™ arent the OVERLY USED conflicts in books, 'g amuses a and makes him laugh and a looks at her with admiration' almost as if mentor/mentee can't have a cordial relationship w/o romantic connotations just because they are m/f, 'e hasn't rejected the bond so eluci£n is a possibility' again, conflict and why tf will she reject it in her sisters' book, 'they don't have any conversations together, all they do is sit quietly and glance at e/o' as if Slowburn™ and Yearning™ doesn't make the all types of audience go feral, '3 brothers 3 sisters is too cliche and obvious' well let me surprise you by revealing what is the genre of acotar books wait for it hold on wait.....GASP its Romance™! and what is romance genre if not Cliche™ and Obvious™?
DEAR G STANS, READ A DAMN BOOK FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!!
LITERALLY ANY KIND OF BOOK!!!!
WATTPAD WORKS AS A BEGINNERS GUIDE TOO!!
(im so sorry for such a long rant but i accidentally went to twitter and came across some anti tweets and you can guess how that went my brain is fried from lack of self awareness and sheer stupidity)
I completely agree. These are pretty 'by-the-book' characters and act exactly how you'd expect them to act.
When I was 10, I remember i was completely obsessed with Jane Eyre. It was my favorite book and I read it like 70 times! :) You look at Mr. Rochester and let's see:
Brooding, possessive, domineering, harboring a deep dark secret, suffering, falling madly in love with a young innocent girl, willing to make questionable choices, lie and do everything to get the object of his affection.
And I mean, if you don't want to go back to the classics, then just read freakin' Twilight! LOL
Same thing!
I never understood why this was so 'confusing' to them.

Oh my God I just got a fanfic idea. Do not use it!
Imagine this
Jesminda hid that she's pregnant from Lucien for baby's sake, because she knew something terrible is about to happen, she had a baby girl and never told anyone. They were living in a cottage house.
She went out one day (baby was around human 5 years than) and she was vaptured by Beren and his sons (exept Eris), tortured and killed in from of Lucien.
Little girl is waiting for her mommy to return. For days, months, years😭. She managed to find good on her own, heat the cottage and water (even in things like tee) thanks to the powers she doesnt understand. She sings the songs mother thaught her, read books she left.
One day she sees kids going to classes and joins them by taking books (like Fae version of Hamlet or something🤣) and packing them in little bag her mom had. The teacher asks her questions who she is and where are her parents, but she doesn't answer, she just takes book out and read while other kids are colouring. Teacher gives her appropriate books and feeds her.
That goes on for the time girl is an adult and gets out of school. Teacher was like a mother to her, but she never told her anything about wats going on wirh her life, because she's too afraid. At that point she hates her real mother, she's certain that the woman left her, as well as her father. She hates them both.
Despite that, she have earn lot of money, cause she was working after school, she's great at singing so she gives amazing performances.
One day she meets a boy and fall in love. He's promising to give her the world, but when she moves in with him the relationship becomes incredibly toxic and she can't leave. He's abusing her mentally and physically. After a year of that life she snaps and kills him. She runs away and again living a lonely life.
After some time she is hired to perform on a party in the Autumn Court. Eris is astonished by her singing, he goes to talk to her and he thinks of the resembles between her and him. At first he thinks she may be his daughter, but later he thinks about the magic she used forshow (like Helions light and air manipulation [at this point is well known who's his son]) and comes to conclusion she MUST be Luciens daughter. He asks her questions about her past and though resilient at the beginning, she feels tired of the secrets and tells him everything. They drink and talk. She even tells him if she'd have a different start she'd want to be solving crimes, she calls it a silly dream of hers.
Eris doesn't tell her about his suspicions, he feels that she's in a deep low emotionally and she's suffering. He knows a place, a court that helps people like that. Feyre, Nesta, and before that Mor.
While she's sleeping slightly drunk in bedchamber next to his, he announced himself to the Night Court. Rhysand allowes him to come to the River house. Everyone are there. Including the children. Two of Cassian and Nesta, and one of Amren and Varian. And Nyx, obviously. No Lucien or Elain, Rhys respected his wishes. They have been in a very good place since Eris became High Lord.
He explain them situation and asks Nyx for help. He finally can do something good for his family, for his brother and possible niece.
Nyx agrees to teach her the art of solving the crimes. He's in a need of assistant anyway. But he agrees to that only if Eris will tell the girl about who her parents may be.
At the morning High Lord of the Autumn Court does as promised and girl is shocked. She beggs him not to tell Lucien until he will be certain and agrees to work with Nyx.
More to come in short stories I will be writing about them. I'm sorry for any mostakes but it was written quick and English is not my first language. The characters of course belongs to Sarah J. Maas, exept the main heroine.
Do not use the ideas in any way. Do not copy without adding my name.

OKAY so ive been wanting to write this post since i started the books a few days ago but i have had absolutely no time so here we finally go
i recently started reading acotar and i finished the first one and im idk maybe 1/3 of the way through the second one and i. Hate. tamlin. okay i never liked him and first of all i thought there was more chemistry between feyre and literally anyone else like they were just having sex i really dont think there was a relationship there because they just thought they were each others only chance but i dont even think hes like a good person i mean yea he made sure her family was well off but that was definitely just to make sure she stayed so there would be that chance that she would fall in love with him and break his curse which by the way super beauty and the beasty anyway he has a damn temper and its not any normal anger issue thing like he could literally tear her apart in seconds if he got angry enough he trashed the manor so much that im surprised anything was ever unbroken and when they were Under the Mountain, not the best name btw, and feyres doing her trials and tamlin, supposedly the love of her life, just fucking sits there i couldnt believe that it was actually tamlin just sitting there and watching her go through everything without reacting at all i didnt even think it was actually tamlin until that one party the night before her last trial when they snuck back to have sex because thats literally all their relationship was and side note, i love rhysand and i always have but well get back to that in a moment because even if tamlin didnt have severe anger issues, control issues, overprotectiveness, or cowardice, i still wouldnt like him because hes boring like hes just not an interesting character Oh and when amarantha was literally beating the life out of feyre, tamlin just sat there. he didnt move. he didnt make a sound. he just sat and watched and then had the audacity to cry over her dead body meanwhile my babe rhysand was kicking and screaming to get to her and healed her after the trials and saved her and luciens lives during the second trial and wanted half the month with her because he cares for her and every single action he takes in the second book so far is because he cares about her okay first of all, he didnt steal her away or force her to go immediately he waited until she called out, until she wanted to leave to go get her and he was there instantaneously to get her out of that situation and i knew he would be she was like get me out of here and i was like rhys is gonna come and whisk her away and he did! he did and he was so sassy about it i love him and oh and back to tamlin being terrible when feyre got back from rhysands the first time and they got in a fight and tamlin bought her an art set even though she hadnt painted for months and rhys knew that but tamlin couldnt be bothered to notice and she upset him and he fucking blew the study apart with her in it and the only thing that prevented her from being showered with all those deadly shards of wood and glass and whatever else was her own new power that he couldnt have known about so if she hadnt instinctively done that, he wouldve hit her and i know it wasnt his hand making the blow but it was his power and thats still him, still his fault and thats abuse so fuck him and when she got back the second time, he literally locked her in the house either not knowing or not caring that shes now terribly claustrophobic and i honestly dont know whats worse because if he didnt know that means he didnt notice that she hadnt touched a paintbrush in months when rhys did, he didnt notice how she couldnt go into certain rooms when rhys did, he didnt notice how she kept having such horrible nightmares she’d throw up for hours when rhys did, and not only did rhys pick up on all of that but he unpromptedly accommodated for all of it he noticed she hadnt wanted to paint and got her a new hobby of reading he noticed she felt trapped in certain closed spaces and his mountaintop castle manor home is completely open her room especially and her room in the valeris house has this big like bay window and shes not waking up at night not knowing where she is and hurling her guts in terror but that one time when she was throwing up he just held her hair and rubbed her back and i love rhysand and the not caring on tamlins part right meant that he did notice all that and chose to ignore it supposedly the love of his life is so damn traumatized that shes half dead from malnutrition and sleep deprivation and he just fucking lets it happen he doesnt even remotely try to help he doesnt even acknowledge it and when she went back to rhys after tamlins explosion and feyre looked all gaunt he was so angry and concerned and when mor got her after her panic attack from being trapped in the house he stayed up all night in some chair by her to make sure she’d be alright and he feigns being unconcerned and uncaring but theres absolutely no way at all that he isnt in love with her
im sure i had something else to say but i cant remember so in short: fuck tamlin and i love rhysand

ACOTAR - Rhys x NO GENDER reader. short stories by a short writer. Rhys pops the question in a special way.
Cassian’s yell of pure adrenaline made the hair on the back of your neck stand up. You knew it was a good yell, but it always scared you that something bad was about to happen.
“We’re fine, you dont have to worry.” Rhys purred in your ear. He had sensed your anxiety through your bond.
“Flying will never be safe, I dont care how long they train or if they’re born being able to.” You shoved him slightly, not turning from the skyline where you watched Cass fade into the first of the snowfall on Velaris. It had been a very dry season so far, and they were all waiting desperately to go up to that cabin and have their yearly snow fight. Az had already left, hoping to get a head start on his tactical positioning according to Rhys.
“You mean you dont love being protected by these while we fly?” As if for emphasis, his wings appeared around you, immediately shielding you from the cool chill of the air. You felt a shiver of his power radiate out of him as you grazed a hand on the inside of his wing.
“You know I dont particularly enjoy flying. These, however…” You raked a fingernail across a broad section of wing. His jaw set, and he let out a low growl. “You are a wicked thing aren’t you?” He growled, leaning down to capture your lips, his wings pulling you in closer as you melded to his body. He wrapped his arms around your waist, drinking in your form as his hands wandered slowly, down and down.
“Just because we can’t see you doesnt mean we dont know what’s going on.” Mor chided, Amren chittering just behind her as they made their way up to the roof.
“Public decency has never fit you, has it Rhys?” Amren sneered, taking a sip of something steaming in a paper cup. You refused to focus on it too long, an idle thought passing by of if she had decided to start trying blood again. She resented food enough that you wouldnt doubt it.
“As if you’re one to talk, pixie devil.” Rhys tucked his wings in tight, but you kept your hands where they were on his waist. “You’re sure you dont want to come see the cabin?” Rhys sent you his thought, along with a brief flashback to the last time you were there together.
Amren and Mor slid chairs around to either side of a firepit, now lit with their arrival. “It’s a tempting offer, but I dont know about the cold…” You trailed off, the heat between your legs from his imagination making you second guess. Flying was always terrifying, but Rhys knew your fear was real and he would always send you soothing thoughts of what he was going to do next so you wouldnt be caught off guard.
“I’ll keep you warm.” He promised, sensing your hesitation and pouncing on the opportunity. Then, the wind was rushing past your ears, you felt the thrill of excitement as he wrapped his arms around you again, and took off into the sky. You yelped as your stomach dropped into your feet, clinging to Rhys for your own sense of safety. Amren and Mor’s laughing made your cheeks heat slightly, but they faded quickly.
“You’re lucky you fly fast.” You muttered into his shoulder, not looking down.
“We’ll be there in no time.” He promised, pecking the top of your head, as he began sending you the predictive thoughts of his next maneuvers.
It was an atmosphere of complete silence, save for the wind as you arrived. He set you down gently in the snow, letting you regain your balance before letting go of you. You were directly in front of the cabin now, the snow falling in fat, clumpy chunks.
Rhys was beaming down at you, starlight dancing in his eyes. “I am very grateful that you trust me to fly with you. You have no idea how much it means.” Your heart swelled, and you smiled cooly at him.
“I think I have a good idea.” You sent him thoughts of things that meant a similar amount to you. He smiled sweetly. You were about to ask where the others were when he reached into his pocket.
“I know in the human realms there’s no mating bond. But I wanted to do everything….everything possible in this world to tie myself to you.” He lowered himself to a knee, and opened the box. The most detailed, eloquent jewel lay in the box facing you. Your eyes welled with tears at the simple beauty of it. Black, with tones of purple in the right light. White specks reflected back in the middle as it reflected. It matched his eyes exactly. “Will you please.. Be my mate - my partner forever?” He asked, his eyes slightly glassy.
“You already know the answer,” You spoke, continuing with your mental thought and dancing out on that mental bridge to meet him.  “how did you find a ring like this?!” You laughed, embracing him tightly as he fitted the ring to your finger. Your passed your overwhelming joy to him - mind to mind and he laughed.
“You’d be surprised what jewelers can come up with when you say you want the embodiment of the Night Court.” He breathed a sigh, and scooped you up in his arms, making your way towards the cabin together, his thick muscles flexing around you.
“I may have been inclined to make something more inappropriate” You teased, grazing his ear with your teeth. He nipped back at you, catching your lower lip in his teeth. You continued together into the cabin.
“You know if Cass or Az get here any early - well, maybe even on time - they might call us crazed newlyweds.” He warned.
“Well crazed would be an accurate term.” You whispered. Rhys gave you a smirk as he stepped inside.

Hi, can you please give your thoughts on Nesta and Cassians relationship? I want to like it, I really do, and they have some good moments, but overall, he is mean to her? Makes fun of her falling down the stairs, is pissed with her on the hike, doesnt respect her wishes regarding marrige vs mating, notices her fear of fire but just dosent care? He is just like ‘weird...but 🤷🏻‍♀️’
Maybe it is because all their scenes are cut short and they never get to talk about stuff that happened between them.
And yes she hurt him a lot, so he is wary of her and yes their training interactions are cute, but it feels like he is half the book doing it for duty and half the book doing it for mating instinct.
So all the help you can send I will be happy to hear!
I thought their relationship was fantastic for who those two characters are and what they had been through! This got way longer than I intended haha enjoy
I don’t blame anyone for not being the most polite to Nesta - I saw a post that said the IC treated her like shit all the time and they neglected her and I’m like hi. Did you read acomaf. Or acowar. Or acofas. (Also thanks, person, for reminding me why I don’t check the tags.) Because they freaking tried, and tried, and she kept being rude, and snapping at them, and refusing their help, and what we know now is that her rudeness was intentional to push people away. So they went away! That’s not surprising. I’m not trying to deny that Cassian might have said things that would rub me (or someone else) the wrong way, but we’ve got to remember that Nesta doesn’t exactly bring out the best in everyone. And ultimately, if Nesta forgives and forgets, that’s all that matters.
Now with Cassian, he and Feyre are the two people who supported Nesta the most through this whole thing. They did grow distanced from her during that 9-month period between acofas and acosf, but people can only take so much rejection? And Nesta was handing out rejection like she got it on sale. Like it was freaking zucchini that had taken over her garden and she was sick of baking zucchini bread.
Yet Cassian and Feyre were the ones who continued to try. The intervention never would have happened without Feyre deciding she needed to do something drastic, and it never would have been successful without Cassian. Everyone else was almost done with Nesta, by that point.
I didn’t read the hike as Cassian being 100% pissed at Nesta. There was a lot more going on than anger, though that was part of it. I think he was scared that after all the progress they had made, she was on the verge of being lost all over again. So you’ve got this huge fight that has occurred, Cassian is really conflicted because:
He loves Feyre and knows that the decision to hide that information hurt her,
It was Rhys’s decision and he is loyal to his High Lord and bro,
and he probably wants to be mad at Nesta for creating this conflict though he knows she was right to do it, even though it hurt other people he loves.
On top of all this, he is afraid that this conflict has basically erased the progress that Nesta had made re: healing.
Basically, he’s in the middle of all the drama that Rhys and Nesta created, and he knows what is right but he doesn’t know how to reconcile his loyalties when those people are in direct opposition to one another.
Also, fuck Rhys for trying to banish Nesta. idk, sidenote but maybe Nesta will be good for Cassian because she can help him get some perspective on his friends.
Anyway, back to the hike and to talk about Nesta’s part in this, they didn’t speak for two days (right?) Nesta would have said horrible things. By that point in the book, we had already seen her awareness that sometimes, she needs to stfu and not say the first words that come to mind because she is often destructive that way. And literally, she’s on that hike because she couldn’t keep her mouth shut, and she hurt people, even if in the end it was necessary and right. Nesta is trying so, so hard at that point to figure out how she can deal with her emotions without 1) blowing up at someone, and 2) reverting back to those coping/self-destructive habits.
And Cassian is smart enough to know that about Nesta. He probably never sees her try to restrain herself in terms of being cruel, and so he can see that and just lets her be. Cassian just loves his family so much, and Nesta loves Cassian (and kinda her family lol) so much, so there’s a lot at stake.
I think that nessian are the kind of couple who don’t have to talk things out all the time, mostly because of Nesta. Cassian is so sensitive, he loves with his whole heart and would do anything for everyone, and so I think he would have whatever kind of conversation Nesta needs to have, but she needs time to process. Which means time not talking. I completely relate to that. A lot of times people read his goading or teasing as being mean, but it can be better than feeling nothing? Like in acotar and acomaf Rhys has several ways he tries to keep Feyre from retreating into her depression and despair. Cassian does the same thing for Nesta, it’s just a different style.
I could probably go on and on, but you just happened to identify a pivotal scene for their relationship, so I went with it!
EDIT - gdi I meant to address the fire thing but. Maybe another time.

3rd Times a Charm, Chap 4
GUYS I AM SO SORRY FOR THE DELAY I FINALLY HAD TIME TO WRITE, hope you enjoy!
I woke up shaking. No someone was shaking me.
"FEYRE." Someone screamed my name. Alis. I jumped out of bed. What was going on? Was Tamlin here? Was Alis's ex here? Did the bakery near us run out of blueberry muffins?
Alis's expression was not scared or frightened or angry but full of excitement. "Your tired ass fell asleep before I could get you to spill the beans on your date. So what happened? You don't have that it was a good date smile, why? TELL ME."
"Slow down Alis, your gonna give me a headache at 6 in the morning."
"It's actually 5 pm, and I made you coffee it's on your side table. I added a bit of creamer just like you like it."
"You're a lifesaver, Alis. A gift sent from the gods." she chuckled as I greedily took the mug from the side table and drank the coffee. I could feel the heavenly liquid coursing through my veins, making me more alert.
"Oh and that violet-eyed dude is in the kitchen." I choked on my coffee and whipped my head to her. "What." Rhys- Rhysand was here? For how long? Why was he here? To see me? Don't be stupid Feyre, I thought. I thought we agreed that disappointment was fake.
I leaped out of bed and stumbled to my closet, looking for something nice to wear. What hadn't I gone shopping with Alis when she asked? I rummaged through my closet when I noticed a bag near the door of my closet. I picked it up and looked inside. There was a deep blue blouse, baggy light-washed jeans, and tiny hoop earrings. Had I bought these? When? I never went shopping, Ha-
"I got that for you this morning!" Alis hollered. Alis was really a lifesaver. I thanked her 5 times and promised to make it up to her until she shouted at me to go change, and I ran into the bathroom, making sure not to run into Rhysand.
I put on the outfit, and I had to admit I looked good. Even though the jeans were loose, You could still see my curves and gods the blouse. For some reason, it reminded me of Rhysand and those impossible violet eyes. He was so beautiful, though I would never admit it because his ego would skyrocket. He looked inhumanly beautiful like he was something else, something much more powerful. I w-
"FEYRE WHAT'S TAKING SO LONG?"
I jumped and slammed back into reality. Stop daydreaming Feyre, he doesn't like you. End of story. I quickly put on the earrings and opened the door, Alis was sprawled on the bed and jumped up when she saw me. She squealed and said "Feyre you look amazing! I knew those clothes would look amazing on you for your date-"
"DATE?" I screamed. Date?! When had I agreed to go on a date with Rhysand? He obviously wasn't interested in me, what was going on?
Her eyes were filled with suspicion for a moment, but then turned to shock and amusement
"So you don't remember anything from last night?" What the hell is she talking about?
"Obviously not! How the hell did I get another date?!"
Alis told me about last night, how I woke her up when I dropped a wine glass when I went to get some at 3 in the morning, how we ended up drinking wine, laughing, talking, and then going on my phone. She told me how I messaged another guy, I found out was Azriel, and asked for a date, he agreed and I told him to pick the place. Alis had then passed out but I must have messaged more because there were so many messages, full of random talks, and I realized we were talking about Again but Better by Christine Riccio, a novel we both enjoyed immensely but he seemed shy to admit it. Gods Feyre, what have you done? Wait isn't Rhysand in the house?! Wait why do you care whether he hears you, he DOESNT like you!
Alis must have seen my confusion, because then she smirked and said casually "Oh yeah, Rhysand isn't really here I just said that because that is the only way to get you out of bed."
I glared at her, but I couldn't really be mad at her, she was right. And that surprised me.
I decided not to eat breakfast because my date, Azriel was taking me somewhere. I was scrolling through the pictures on tinder and our past conversations. I had to admit, he looked gorgeous. He was muscled like Rhys and Cassian, but his eyes were different. Not different like Rhys and the same hazel like Cassians, but like they had shadows in them. He looked as if he would have shadows around him, curling in his ear to tell him things. There you go again Feyre, your artist's eye is very weird these days.
I shook my head and stood up. It was almost 6, and I had to walk to the restaurant we were going to. He had offered to pick me up when we were talking last night, but I was still too suspicious of paranoid to go in a car with a man. I thanked that my drunk self spared my embarrassment and did not tell him that.
I said goodbye to Alis and she wished me luck, with her nephews in her lap. I smiled and hugged them both before leaving.
Velaris was the perfect weather tonight, warm but with a cooling breeze that blew the hair out of my face. It was 5:40, and the sun looked like it was going to set soon. The clouds looked like a painting, and I was enraptured in them. I could never paint clouds like that, could never get the shadows right, c-
One second I was thinking about the clouds, and the next second my body slammed into something. Yet again, not something, but someone. I lost balance from the blow, but someones strong, definitely a mans, hands reached and put his arm around my waist. The hand felt familiar. The scent was similar too. I looked at who had saved me from probably getting a really bad butt bruise and saw a pair of violet eyes. Shit
"Feyre Darling, it seems I am always bumping into you. not that I'm complaining." He had his signature smirk, his violet eyes dancing with amusement. I wanted to paint those eyes so badly, to find the right-DATE FEYRE. You have a date.
"Prick" I mumbled, and he chuckled. He released his hold on me, and a small part of me wished he kept it there. His eyes widened a bit as he took me in, drinking in every. Single. Inch. Of. Me. He lingered on my lips, and something pooled low in my stomach. Shitshitshitshitshit.
"So why are you so dressed up? Not that I'm mad, you look delicious." I might have blushed a bit at that, but I was also annoyed that he had such a hold over me. I needed to get back on track. Date with Azriel.
"If you must know you busybody I am going on a date." Again his eyes dimmed a bit, but I told myself it was fake, how could eyes dim? A growing part of me snorted at that and said, Oh you wait.
"Last Night's one was that good? Damn, what did your date do?" I appreciated that he respected and did not make assumptions about my sexuality, most men I knew, scratch that, all men I knew other than Cassian and Rhys would do that.
"Yesterday's date and I realized we could be way better as friends, but I gave him my sister's number." His brows furrowed at that as if remembering something. They smoothed instantly.
"Well Feyre Darling, I wouldn't want to make you late for your date-"
"No, you wouldn't" I cut in. I might have sounded rude, but it was the only way I was going to go on my date with Azriel and not cancel it. I dusted the dirt off my pants, and walked off, making sure not to look back at him, not hearing him sigh, not hearing him say, "I'll be waiting, Feyre Darling."
The restaurant was extremely fancy, with gold chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. The furniture was all brown, and though it looked expensive they all had a worn aura to them. It was like everything in here was well used. I could smell the food from the kitchen and it smelt heavenly. I walked along the hardwood floor, my shoes creating a little click-clack sound.
I spotted Azriel a few tables away. He was reading the menu, his dark hair falling on his face. He looks like a shadow. I thought. My hands itched to paint it, to have swirling black shadows around him, whispering to him, curling around his caramel brown ears.
GET IT TOGETHER FEYRE, god. I shook myself for good measure and walked up to Azriel's table. He must have heard the sound my shoes made because he looked up before I was at the table. He got up and pulled out my seat. I blushed a bit and thanked him.
"So, Feyre right?"
"Yep, the one and only."
"You are an amazing drunk texter." I whipped my head to his face and stared at him my eyes a bit wide. He had a small smile, his eyes full of amusement.
"Why thank you Azriel," I said smugly, not giving him the satisfaction of my embarrassment. No way in hell was I going to tell him Alis had looked at every text before I sent them.
"You know, it seems like it was too good," he said in a low whisper, gliding his finger across the rim of his glass of water. "Like somebody helped you."
I sputtered, trying to come up with a good explanation, and all the smugness I had before had mysteriously vanished. How did he guess?
"I'm in the CIA Feyre, I know how to find out people's secrets." Oh god, I said that last part out loud.
Before I could say anything the waiter came to ask what we wanted. I looked through the menu and smiled. They had mushroom ravioli. I had gone through a big Twilight Phase, and sometimes I wondered if I ever got over it. I ordered the mushroom ravioli, and I forced Az to get the same thing.
We started talking about Twilight, and I found out that he secretly loved the books and movies. I thanked the mother when he said he was Team Edward, gods knows what I would have said to him if he was Team Jacob. We talked about how there should have been more carlesme, how Rosalie deserved better, and we both had a love for Garrett. He also talked a bit about his time at the CIA, though he couldn't share much. The more I talked with Az, the more I realized that we wouldn't work as a couple, but I would do anything to have him as a friend, family even. Even though I was smiling, I felt huge guilt in me. I was going to have to hurt this man. I also realized that Elain would work well with him, I would give him her number. Dang Feyre you really like to play matchmaker don't you.
We finished our dinner, and we were outside the restaurant when I decided I would tell him.
"Az-"
"Yes, I would like to stay friends Feyre." His eyes were warm and kind, not sad or mad at all. I stared at him in shock.
"H-"
"I work for the CIA remember? I saw it in your eyes and body language."
"Oh. Thanks, Az, I'm super glad I made a new friend." I smiled up at him and hugged him. He stiffened for a second before hugging me back. I made sure to give him Elain's number before I walked back home. I felt so much lighter, Even though I wasn't making any boyfriends I was making friends, friends I knew I would remember forever.

I haven't had the time to do this earlier but here we are. The latest chapter of daylight baby, beautiful. Nesta and Cassian, *sighs, lovely. I love that this chapter included Feyre, I'll be honest. After Acofas, I just couldn't look at her the same again, and in Daylight, I love how you show that she's young, that she is so very young, that's she younger than everyone else. There's naivety, and just too much trust she puts in rhysand, you show that. She doesn't stop to question, doesn't stop to think about consequences. Reckless, like a child. She thinks the world is black and white, she doesn't stop to think of grey, and I do believe that it would be her downfall if there should be any. I feel that Feyre as a person, fundementally, she wants everyone to be happy, and it is a good thing, but not in the way she thinks is happiness. She has a fixed idea on it, where everyone loves each other, where mates should end up with one another, thougts ingrained deep by Rhysand, and so she thinks, Elain should be with Lucien, ans mor with Azriel. I think, she doesn't understand, that love is a choice, you choose who you love and hate, exactly like how she loves Rhysand, but Nesta hates him. Sometimes I feel like, would I say insecure? Not really, but she wants to stay in that same comfort of Acomaf and Acowar, where to her it is happiness. And it cages her, constructs her, she doesnt think to see beyond that. And I think it's just sad. Rhysand, Rhysand is just an ass, a plain ass, feck him. Everything about him is control, control, control. Like you said Elain dead, Nesta afraid. The man is such an ass and feck him, he can go to hell. And Mor, I just. Personally, I've never really liked her, but I can see why others do. But just, what on earth is she thinking, what makes her think she can join the winter court? What makes her think she has the privilege to just do whatever she wants like in the night court? Not when she choose to do nothing, not when she could have done so much, saved so many. And attempting that on Azriel, that's crossing a line. Even if in Daylight, Azriel has never lived her that way, what she did, that isn't something that's should ever be acceptable, that's taking advantage of someone. And Azriel and Lucien!!!! They have a kid now???!!!! Oh my god, we're all going to love them and grandpa Helion. Oh man, I absolutely love Helion's and Nesta's friendship. Well I probably would write more but I gotta go so bye for now.
Ps I love Daylight so so much
OH MY GOD THANK YOU??
So, I feel very, very similarly about Feyre. Her ultimate flaw is one in both understanding and coping.
She’s so, so young to be where she is. In acomaf, we see the beginnings of growth, healing. But after the pain of acowar- namely, the transcendent, incredibly fucked up trauma of feeling her mate die inside her brain- she’s gone all the way backwards.
I really do think it’s a messed up, failing coping mechanism. They lived, they’re safe, now the world needs to be good. She’s not ready to face or handle the choices she made or the fallout. She can’t handle anything else. Feyre reverts all the way back to the original safety she’d framed for herself.
Prosperity. Time and money to paint every day, the people around her happy and loved.
But she treats it like a child telling themselves a story to fall asleep- a happy ending, everything in place. Instead of real life.
There’s not a thing wrong with Feyre wanting to be a wife and mother, to teach painting. But it’s a bewildering difference between what she’s building and what’s happening: She’s going to paint in the Rainbow and heal with art, cool.
She’s the High Lady of a Court she knows nothing about, the largest on the continent, and she took a day job.
Feyre, desperately wants to be happy in a normal, consistent way. She reframes everything around it, even when it doesn’t make sense. Nesta is suicidally depressed? Cassian isn’t speaking to her? We’ll lock them up together anyway, because mates always find a way. People are afraid of Rhys? No, it’s respect, he died for them. Rhysand lies to her? He was going to tell her eventually. The war is over because Velaris is rebuilt, we don’t need to do something about the Illyrian death toll.
If things turn out the way she imagined, then Feyre is okay.
And Rhys makes this worse. Because he is, if anything, coping even less with an absolute ocean of trauma. So anything Feyre wants, Feyre gets. Anything that threatens that perfectly constructed bubble? A threat, to be treated as such to the fullest extent.
She wants everyone to be happy, but can’t imagine happiness in any other shape.
Rhys also has a hand in that. He put her in a position where she got to decide what was right and what was wrong, but now the war is over and she. can’t. stop. It’s such a youthful arrogance, a perspective that just hasn’t grown yet.
AND OH GOD MORRIGAN. So, I have admittedly decided to lean hard into how deeply fucked up Mor is probably feeling? The books paint her as one thing only to then have her act as something entirely different. And in a funny way, I think that actually is very true of Mor?
She wants to be one thing- a rebel, a survivor, a warrior, fearless and true- but she just isn’t there yet. She wasn’t ready, the world changed without her, and that kind of made Mor lose her shit.
We get much more about this is part 6! But that is the crux of it- Morrigan thought inaction was the right path, and it damned her.
And Luciel baby, first of many! Little baby girl shadowsinger! They finally have a home in a place, not just people. Each other, and an ocean of love to give the next generation. They’re so happy to be dads!
Thank you so much for reading, and this absolutely incredible message :)

Older reader- part 1 -acomaf
Tamlin, Rhys and Feyre
I dont think older me is Team Rhys or Team Tamlin and why I'm just Team Feyre.
As my previous post mentioned I was heartbroken and felt saddness for Tamlin. His biggest sin was and will always be him locking her up. But due to him suffering mentally - can we still hold it against him. I personally think not.
But what we can hold against him is the continually bad behaviour towards those he loves. We can understand outbreaks we all have them and especially if ur suffering mentally. Him locking up Feyre the once fair enuf i can understand. What I can not and what makes me agitated with his character in this book, is continual degrading and disregarding the opinions and thoughts of those around him. He wouldnt even let Lucian talk by the end of the book during the Hyburn scenes.
So yes by end of the book sjm did an excellent job of getting me to be pissed at him. However, what I want most going forward with Tamlin is a redemption arc. This isnt to allow justification for his shitty behaviour but to help him realise he was better and is better than this. And that he should apologise for being a shittty friend. Cos ultimately that's what separates him from Rhys.
Rhys is a good friend. Cos just as good a job at making people hate Tamlin, sjm duped everyone into falling in love with Rhys.
Did I? Of course. Part of me will always love Rhys. So why am I not just team Rhys. Cos just cos his a good friend doesnt mean he is a good man. And loving him doesnt mean u negate his shitty behaviour that allowed u to see the goodness. He was a shitty man when he drugged Feyre in the first book. He was a shitty man for not telling her she was his mate. And he was a shitty man with the whole male macho thing. Quote -'where are u' in the battle scene. Ffs ur town and ur secret is exposed ur people are dying and ur worried about a powerful female who uve been training for months. Go save ur people.
And therefore, just cos I genuinely like the bad boy gone good arc doesnt mean I am team Rhys. Thus I am team Feyre.
I am so glad by the end of this book she realised she can save herself. She is powerful and she is strong. She sacrificed herself for Tamlins people and this time she did it for her own. But this time she herself made it happen. Yes her friends give her support but she is strong on her own. She is Queen not cos of Rhys but because of herself. She fought in the battle for her people.
Its nice to have a partner by ur side but by the end of the book she found out she was strong and just like reality women are stronger than men. And she defo showed that.
And therefore by the end of book 2 - older me is more understanding. The older me can understand characters flaws just as much as their strengths. I can understand and feel for Tamlin and be pissed at him at the same time. I can love Rhys and still believe his actions are not fully justified.

“Adam” The Film And It’s Problematic Implications
Okay, so first of all — YES IM LATE TO THE PARTY! Apparently there’s a film called “Adam” that is coming out this summer based on a YA novel written by a white lesbian woman that is supposed to be super groundbreaking for the LGBT+ community. I’ve never heard of the book or the film until recently because of some backlash I saw on twitter. I didn’t wanna join the band wagon without being properly informed so I did my research and I must say that the backlash surrounding this film is completely just and warranted.
The novel written by Ariel Schrag is about a cis, white teenage boy who has bad luck with girls so when he goes to visit his lesbian sister in New York, who is at the moment dating a transman, he decides to pretend to be trans so he can bag himself a hot lesbian. He does this after being mistaken for trans and decides to run with it. He falls hard for the “hot lesbin girl” and in one scene they even have sex where he actually uses his real penis to penetrate her even though she thought it was a strap on. He goes to a Trans Camp where he eventually feels bad about his actions and confesses to the girl. But for some reason she’s not as mad and even says that ‘it’s okay because she imagined him as a real a boy anyway.’ A lot more happens but that’s the summarized version.
Despite the backlash, some movie executives thought that it would be groundbreaking to make this novel into a film and here’s why that’s a huge mistake. How many Hollywood movies have we seen where a White, Cis male has infiltrated the safe spaces of a marginalized community for personal/sexual gain and then eventually learns how these actions are problematic? We’ve seen this same story play out plenty of times on screen but now that LGBT allyship is trendy in Hollywood, the powers that be thought they were doing something groundbreaking and pushing the envelope by making this highly offensive film.
First of all, the fact that the original novel was written by a lesbian just goes to show how education on trans identity is very scarce even in the Queer community and we have to do better in that regard. But how many times do we need to see a white boy using real issues to get laid on screen? This could have easily been a story about an actual transman coming to terms with his identity in life and in romance. But instead lets create a story where trans is essentially a costume. Hell, a story about the main character’s sister would have been more interesting and more authentic to the author’s personal experience. It also proves that just because you identify as being apart of the LGBT+ community, it doesnt necessarily mean you are qualified to tell stories about all of our experiences.
Now besides the highly problematic narrative and offensive nuances, the writer literally tries to romanticize a rape scene. In the book, the main character tells his lesbian girlfriend that he is using a strap on to penetrate her but in fact he uses his real penis. The girlfriend didnt consent to that which is, by definition, RAPE. Make no mistake, when engaging in any sexual activity and one party decides to go a step further without the consent of their partner that is considered rape. Not to mention the horrible implication that trans men arent real men. Or the fact that lesbians can be “fixed” by having sex with a ‘real man’. That’s right! In the book, the girlfriend of the main character ends up getting a cis boyfriend. Does this make her bisexual or has she decided to be completely hetero? We really dont know but the implication is not okay, especially for this to be a YA novel. If you marry that idea with how impressionable young adults can be, smells like a recipe for disaster.
I can’t continue without saying that there are actually straight men who prowl gay bars hoping to connect with a “hot lesbian” to convert her back to liking “real men”. I’ve personally encountered men with this exact mindset so to fantasize this very problematic behavior into a book AND movie just perpetuates the notion that gayness/queerness/trans identity is curable.
I perused through youtube to find a few videos and interviews of the filmmakers talking about the movie amidst the backlash and the director Rhys Ernst is surprisingly one of the directors that works on the critically acclaimed show “Transparent”. As popular as that show is and as talented as Jeffrey Tambor is, the show is still riddled with its own issues by allowing a Cis White man to play a trans person eseentially taking a job away from an actual trans actor. An issue that even Jeffrey Tambor ironically shed light on during his acceptance speech after winning a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for his performance in the role.
One would think that in an industry where LGBT+ stories have been scarce for so long that we should rejoice in the small triumphs. On the surface, this film is being paraded around as artistic genius amplifying the voices of the trans community and employing those who belong to the community in front AND BEHIND the camera. We should be applauding this right? WRONG. This story is essentially about the trans community through the lens of a selfish, insecure, sex crazed straight man and we are tired of seeing that portrayed on screen. I looked on IMDB and it says that this film comes out in August and I’m sure it will have a strong marketing campaign that will be wrapped in a beatiful bow of romance, inclusion, and acceptance but don’t be fooled.
We live in a climate where standing up for what’s right is frowned upon. Where people mistake using your voice as another cry for political correctness. You even have people saying this new generation is “too sensitive”. Well I beg to differ. We are not sensitive at all. We just choose to not be as passive as our parents and grandparents were. We have decided to not apologize when we tell you how we want to be treated. And if that’s an issue for you, take it up with God or whatever higher power you choose to believe in. I’d rather be politically correct than completely deaf and oblivious to the experiences of a marginalized people — and that’s what Champ says!

My muse in a relationship ?s
🤗Are they physically affectionate?
Yes! Very much. He’ll hold hands a lot, give hand kisses, cheek kisses, play footsie, nuzzle, put his arms around him, rest their foreheads together. etc. Hes likes being physically affectionate
This could also work for the affectionate in public question but he’ll do it any of what i said above at home or in public. The only difference is, he’ll only give one or two kisses in public at a time, and at home they can make out.
🎶 Do they have a type?
Yes! He tends to fall for interesting unique people. Whether its a boy or girl, if they interest him and are unique with a personality that appeals to him, he’s at risk of falling for them.
Looks wise, he does gravitate towards interesting looking people as well. Hes demi so hes not sexually attracted at first, but he will find them very very good looking and will get heart eyes. They tend to be uniquely pretty, and very naturally pretty. They wont need to try at all for Finrod to find them gorgeous. Also, they always have a gorgeous smile.
To better elaborate, some examples would be. Finrod’s Maglor is very quirky, even if hes a prince he doesnt particularly look it. He’ll have very unruly frizzy hairs at the sides of his face when its humid, and cow licks on top of his head. but very very soft emotional grey eyes, dresses a bit plain and disheveled at times, most times has muddy boots. Pays more attention to music than looking princely. Smells like harp strings and soaps he uses. Very introverted but wonderful at performing music, and has a secret genuine smile he only does around Finrod that he just goes crazy over. Secretly loves dancing, hips wiggle when excited, has the cutest giggle.
Finrod’s wife in some aus is Italian ( middle earth version of Italian). She has a pretty accent that gets deeper when upset or sassy. Has a very specific clothing style according to her culture. Has a completely different culture than Finrod does and he loves learning about it and participating. Loves sparring and will throw Finrod down on his butt every time. Shes very “i’ll kick anyone’s ass. i’ll kick your ass. i’ll kick maglor’s ass. i’ll kick my own ass” XD Again has a pretty smile too.
Rhys is extremely unique and why Finrod fell so hard. Pale with long fluffy white hair, white eyebrows and eyelashes. Cloudy eyes because hes blind,  full pale lips with pink tint. Makes a lot of facial expressions that give away how hes feeling, eye contact is never ever needed, hes got a unique way of expressing himself with other types of body language, and of course with words. Theres just something about all those expressions, the way he smiles, and how his eyelashes flutter when his eyes are part of the way open showing his cloudy eyes that just.. drew Finrod in. Everything he does is so intriguing and has a way of making Finrod smile, even when Rhys is a bit sarcastic. Theres a gentleness, love and loyalty to him along with layers upon layers of other things like shyness, bitterness, frustration, a little afraid, stubbornness. And of course everyone has so many layers to their personality, but his in particular Finrod fell in love with.  Obviously there are even more unique things like his mutation, but even without it Finrod would have still been just as intrigued. The way he sits at windows for warmth, the look on his face when he eats sweets, his smile, his laugh, the way he says certain words in his accent,  how he can melt with just a small physical gesture or when holding a soft bunny. Despite everything hes been through, hes still soft and sweet and beautiful, any roughness around the edges Finrod loves just as much. He embraces the uniqueness in its entirety, whether Rhys may consider some aspects of himself flawed or less than perfect, Finrod just sees his unique Rhys, perfect just the way he is in every way.
😡What are their deal breakers?
Nothing turns him off from a person faster than seeing them being hateful to someone. Just needlessly underhanded and hateful to someone who did nothing wrong. Like bullying, tripping someone just to be mean or throwing stuff at someone for no reason. In general, if they pick on people and bully them. But chances are Finrod wouldnt have been too interested in them if he didnt know them well enough yet to know their true nature.
Cheating. Or even just implying they would cheat turns him off so fasttt. A random example would be If Finrod had a crush on someone who happened to be dating someone. He wouldnt ever bring it up or imply that he was crushing, its rude and he would respect they were in a relationship. But if they started talking to him about how they would cheat with someone or even him, or even try to kiss him. Nope, turned off, right then. He could understand if they werent happy in their relationship and wanted to end it and find someone else, thats perfectly normal and fine, but not cheating and wanting both people ( or more than both).
Insulting him or his friends/family. Theres a difference between playful banter/playful insults and flat out true insults.  This may or may not be something that builds up to it being a deal breaker. If someone happens to tell him his hair looks awful one day hes gonna take it as them letting him know as a favor so he wouldnt have walked around like that too long or something so he could fix it. Thats totally fine and normal, but if someone makes that an every day thing where they constantly are insulting his hair, his clothes, his work, his food, etc. If they insult everything about him constantly hes gonna be turned off from them. However, before he does anything hes gonna talk to them about it first and let them know how theyre making him feel. Then their reaction will determine whether or not its a deal breaker. They would probably remain only friends though.
Similarly, if he hears someone outright insult a friend of his or family member hes gonna be turned off right then. A little communication will be applied again but still, only remain friends most likely.  It depends on the situation.
🏷️ Do they give their partners cute nicknames?
He does! If his partners name is long he’ll shorten it to a nickname. Rhys’ name is short already so he wont do that, but he’ll use things like “ Love” or very possibly a term of endearment in Gaelic that Rhys likes. Or maybe darling. Things like that. But I doubt he would ever say “Babe” or “Sweetheart”. He uses sweetheart for little kids, and babe just sounds funny to him.  He would never say Baby for sure.
📖 What is their favorite outside of the bedroom activity to do with their partner?
I dont know that he has a favorite. He likes cooking together, going for walks, going to the park… So many things… if he had to pick a favorite its a tie between Cuddling on the couch with Rhys explaining tv shows, movies, and books while having a snack; and cooking together.
🛏What is their favorite bedroom activity to do with their partner?
Well..Reading for one thing. They do most of their reading before bed all cuddled up and that technically counts for this question because its in the bedroom.
In terms of physical bedroom activities, he just likes kissing and making love in general with Rhys in any way they feel like. He could never choose a favorite if he tried, its all heavenly to him.
💚Are they prone to jealousy?
Not really. Finrod gets more sad and envious rather than jealous. For example, if before they became a couple, someone flirted with Rhys or Rhys flirted with someone, he would get a bit sad and envy them. He would never say anything though, hes too polite so there would never be any resentful feelings of jealousy or anything. Just a bit pouty.  Unless the person flirting with Rhys, or who Rhys was flirting with, was a jerk then he would be resentful toward that person and very protective. Most likely he would just talk to Rhys about it, communication is the best thing for it.
Although, if he and Rhys ( or just in general he and a partner, this applies always) were dating, he would never ever get jealous, sad or, envious because there would be no reason to. He trusts Rhys completely and knows he would never cheat on him, so if anyone ever flirted with Rhys, his response wouldnt be jealousy, it would be to politely let the person know Rhys was his boyfriend. If that didnt work and they still were bothering Rhys, then he’d tell them to get lost.  Probably growl if the person is stubborn and takes it to far.
👫Do they display affection in public? What about in private?
This ties in with the first question. He’ll hold hands, give hand kisses, cheek kisses, play footsie, nuzzle, put his arms around him, rest their foreheads together, and one or two kisses at a time maybe three. He wont make out in public ( unless theyre somehow hidden they might have a mini make out, like ex: making out under their umbrella at the beach)  but is very affectionate in a tasteful way. Granted terribly sappy, but tasteful.
The only difference between public and private is that they kiss a lot in private, will definitely make out for as long as their hearts desire. They also have a lot of sex.
💔Do they have a certain type of person they will not enter into a relationship with?
Going back into the deal breaker question, he will never enter a relationship with someone whos a bully to anyone or him. Its just not going to happen, ever.  If someone doesnt treat people right or him right, he doesnt want any sort of relationship with them at all.
💝How long until they feel secure and comfortable in a relationship?
It depends on the relationship. With Rhys he was always comfortable because they had been friends for years prior. Sure a little awkward, but also comfortable. Since they had been best friends i think it was a little scary. Finrod didnt want to ruin their friendship but they both knew things would get better rather than anything getting ruined. They fully trusted each other so they knew they would always be together regardless and let themselves follow where ever their feelings led. I would say after a few months of dating they were pretty secure, a little awkward and it felt like a dream, but secure and comfortable. In terms of being comfortable with new stages in the relationship thats something different, they took each step slowly at a comfortable pace.
In a different situation, in general it would take him several months to feel secure and comfortable, possibly almost a year if he and the person hadnt known each other that well before they started dating. That would mean they dated in order to get to know each other and it takes a long time to fully get to know someone that well.
🚀 How far are they willing to go for the person they love?
Finrod would do anything his love needed. Anything. Finrod would kill for Rhys if he had too.
That being said, Rhys is someone he trusts completely and he wouldnt ever be in a relationship if he didnt trust his partner like that wholly. Rhys would never ask him to do anything unless there was a solid good reason. Finrod knows that. So if a reason ever presented itself he would do what ever Rhys needed in a heartbeat.
Doing anything to protect Rhys isnt even debatable, he would protect Rhys with his last dying breath if he had to.

My Mate, My Wife and My High Lady Pt.2
Sorry for being so late guys and im also sorry for spelling and shit but i had to do this all on my phone bc i dont have Wi-Fi for my laptop. Hope its still readable tho xox ...... Feyre let herself drift as the wind caught the membrane in her wings. She had been flying around in circles in the middle of nowhere for a while now. She knew she was still in the Night Court but it wasnt a part she recognised or knew but she didnt have time to think about that right now. The cogs in her brain just kept spinning and soon they were going to go too fast for her to keep up. She knew she was overthinking yet she couldnt stop. She just kept thinking about the stunning woman who had jusy appeared out of nowhere. The woman Rhys had never told her about. Why had Rhys never mentioned her? Was there something he didnt want her to know? How long were they together? Why did they break up? Would Rhys leave Feyre to go back to her?? Ok no that last one was stupid and she knew it. Rhysand was her mate and she was his. They were married for mothers sake. With all this shit running rapid in her head Feyre wasnt paying attention to where she was going and didnt notice massive ass tree before it was right in front of her. "Shit" she swerved sharply to the right but a branch still caught her wing and Feyre lost her balance and began crashing through the trees before hitting the ground like a meteor. A scream tearing from her lips. She heard the snap of her ankle before she felt it and then let out a string of curses that would have made the mothers couldren boil. She was spread out in the dirt like a fallen angel and tried to examine her clipped wing but shed never injured them before and the pain was unreal. How Cass had survived having his wings shredded when a small cut was causing her agonising pain she had no clue. All thoughts of Cece were now gone and all Feyre could think of was finding out where she was. She still hadent mastered winowing large distances and since she had no idea how far away from home sje was she didnt want to risk it. She tried pulling herself up but her ankle couldnt take her weight and her wing was too sore to tuck in but she couldnt drag it on the ground either. Who would have thought the great Feyre Cursebreaker, the girl who defeated Amarantha and saved the world from an asshat of a king would be so easily taken down from a measly fall... .......... Feyre had been leaning herself against a tree in the forest for about an hour, waiting for herself to heal enough to travel properly when she heard it. The familiar beat of wings. She looked up to see Rhys racing towards her, a look of pure panic on his face as he landed with a boom and raced to kneel in front of her. "What happened!? Where are you hurt?!" His voice was rushed as he looked his mate over, taking in her hurt wing and injured ankle. Placing his hands carefully on her wing to inspect the damage and to speed up the healing. "Im fine" Feyre croaked but she was shaking from the cold. She had made a small fire but didnt want to risk attracting any unwanted attention "how did you find me". "You let your guard slip" he said quietly, his starry eyes meeting hers "I felt your surge of panic and the pain but then I was shut out again, I knew something had happened". "What about Cece?" Feyre looked away as if she didnt want to know the answer. "What about her?" Rhys looked puzzled. "Well you cant have just left her alone" "No. I kicked her out" Feyre looked back up at her mate in astonishment "what? Why? I thought..." "That something would happen between us" Feyre stared at her fidgeting hands "shes beautiful" she whispered. Rhys plaved his hands on either side of her face amd ran the pad of his thumb along her cheek. "You're beautiful. And I love you. Yes shes an ex but she doesnt mean anything to me anymore. I would never ever do something like that" A tear escaped and fell down Feyres cheek "it was just wjen she syarted talking about you two. What you did together... i know it was long before me but..." "You never have to explain yourself to me, i understand. And I kicked her out because no one disrespects my mate, my wife and my highlady" Feyre smiled softly and gently pressed her lips to his "lets get you home, you crazy lady" he laughed and scooped her up in his arms.

Send me a ღ and I’ll fill this out about a ship
// YAYYY!! Thank you so much!!! @blind-mutant Some of these are for them as adults and some are just universal for adults and teens :D//
Who’s the first to wake up in the morning:
Finrod! Ive written this out in more detail on another post but he gets up first maybe around 6 am,  gets somewhat ready for the day, makes tea, and prepares breakfast( on work days its a quick breakfast but always good), then he’ll lay back down with Rhys around 7 am and gently wake him up with kisses and soft whispers so that Rhys can get ready too. He’ll make sure Rhys has enough time to comfortably get ready before work. On days they have off from work, he’ll sleep in to maybe 7:30-8.15am and make tea then lay back down with Rhys for a little while then probably wakes Rhys up at 9 am or 9:30 for breakfast.
Their routine at the institute is basically the same although they get breakfast from the school’s kitchen, and sometimes go to eat with everyone else or Finrod bring it up to their room. Its a bit more common for him to bring it up to their room since Rhys isnt a morning person, crowds arent his favorite thing either. They may go eat with everyone else sometimes after Rhys has gotten comfortable with everyone. Depends on how sleepy Rhys is.
Who’s the one to make breakfast:
Finrod again. Rhys is blind so Finrod always cooks though Rhys does help as much as he can with things like stirring/mixing, pouring coffee since its easy to feel place the edge of the coffee pot on the cup and pour with time he can judge how long it takes to fill the cup though mistakes happen sometimes, he can crack eggs, things like that. Though all this depends on what time it is in the morning. Rhys is not a morning person and wont be cooking if its 6-7 am, he’ll most likely be grumping about getting out of bed, huddled in blankets, and will need to be soothed with kisses
Who’s the one to serve the other breakfast in bed:
Finrod! He loves bringing Rhys breakfast in the mornings especially since Rhys doesnt like getting up, so breakfast in bed may happen a lot.
Although deviating from the question a bit, Im sure Rhys does bring Finrod things sometimes, not cooked, but everything is labeled in braille so they probably mutually bring each other treats every now and then when theyre doing things like watching/listening to tv.
Who would suggest a quickie in the morning before work:
Rhys!! Most always, though it really depends on the situation. If Rhys wakes up with a thirst after having dreams about it, Finrod can usually tell unless hes asleep too but he almost always is woken up by Rhys squirming, moving, or making noises. In which case Finrod wakes up a bit turned on too. It could also be swapped and Finrod be the one having dreams or just a boner in his sleep and Rhys wake up.Really any number of scenarios can happen.
Who suggests they both ditch work to lay around all day:
Rhys. Hes not a morning person ( i said it like five times already but its true XD) at all and would very much like staying in bed all day. The same goes for when they were in school.
Who chooses the movies:
Well, Finrod informs Rhys about movies and lets him decide? He doesnt want Rhys to listen to something that he doesnt find interesting. But Finrod does have to actually choose movies to list in order for Rhys to pick one… so.. they both do?
Who initiates kissing during the movie, thus distracting the other from the movie all together:
Rhys? Although it could be both? Rhys sometimes doesnt really pay the movie any attention unless Finrod is actively explaining scenes to him like he usually does. I imagine kissing/making out during movies happens a lot. Rhys could smooch Finrod’s cheek/lips/jaw and it be returned then so on and so on, and vice versa. Also.. If they finish eating snacks and Rhys has food on his fingers ( idk maybe cheeto dust) and they get close to Finrod’s face, he may kiss the pad of one of Rhys’ fingers. Not really meaning it in a naughty way but he’ll definitely do it as a sweet affectionate gesture that can be interpreted in any way Rhys pleases.
Who orders lunch:
Does this mean in a restaurant? They order for themselves, although Finrod reads the menu to Rhys so he knows the options.
If this means ordering take-out then I think Finrod, even if they do have a braille house phone the phonebook isnt in braille unless Rhys memorized the number and wanted to order, or was home alone for what ever reason and wanted to order something? But generally if Rhys is home alone their food is always labeled in the fridge and in cabinets for him to easily fix himself. Plus, im not sure how Rhys would feel about a stranger bringing food to his door, and he wouldnt know how much money to give them. So i think its safe to say, Finrod is the one who orders take-out ordinarily.
Who steals food from the other’s plate without asking:
Finrod would never ( you dont steal food off a blind persons plate even if they can tell, unless eating popcorn or something thats meant to be shared)  so i’ll say Rhys. Although it depends on if he knows what hes grabbing. If theyre eating dinner they have the same thing so theres no point. I think this would happen mostly when eating sweets or snacks, theyre easier to grab and Rhys lovesss sweets. Finrod doesnt mind either, he spoils Rhys
Who curls up next to the other and falls asleep due to a full tummy:
Both? They both do this a lot its hard to tell which does it more. Maybe Rhys, but Finrod would cuddle him right back and may or may not fall asleep with him. It depends, sometimes he likes watching him sleep for a while.
Who distracts the other from trying to work at home:
Well as adults, Rhys doesnt work at home because he answers phones at work, and Finrod is a gardener/landscaper so he doesnt work at home either. ( altho in the future he does take a music teaching job but thats so far into the future im not counting it)
But as teens they both distract each other from their homework all the time and often end up forgetting everything and making out.
Who asks to go get ice cream like a five year old:
Rhys XD boys got a sweet tooth
Who takes pictures of their partner eating ice cream:
Finrod
Who makes a sexual joke about the dripping ice cream on their partner’s face:
RHYS. Altho he couldnt see it, but if he knows its there or Finrod mentions ice cream dripping down his lips or chin, then yes. Rhys would be likely to say something.
Who cooks dinner:
Finrod, but Rhys helps like i mentioned above in the breakfast question, just Rhys almost always helps with dinner because its obviously not 7 am. It does depend on whats being cooked tho, something that requires a lot of chopping and cutting, like making homemade soup for example, there might not be able to help with aside from putting the chopped ingredients in the pot but Rhys will probs sit in there with him and can help make dessert if they make any. They usually only make dessert once a week or maybe once every week and a half depending how long it’ll last so they can have something to nibble on when they want it. They do have occassional unplanned treats tho like going out for ice cream, milkshakes, or some other kind of sweet. Either way, when ever Rhys can help, Finrod is more than happy to let him, he knows how Rhys likes it and its really enjoyable too. Like quality time.
Who cleans up the kitchen afterwards:
Finrod I think? But that is somewhat a group effort too to some extent. Rhys will help put dishes in the sink and maybe things like drying off the dishes and the counter after Finrod washes them? Only because washing the dishes is dangerous for Rhys, not that hes not capable of it, he could but washing knives would be extremely dangerous and he would have to feel everything to see if it was clean.. but again, knives would be dangerous because of that. So if Rhys did want to actually wash dishes one day it would have to be non sharp things and no glass, but Finrod washing and Rhys drying is a pretty good routine already so that will probably be what they stick with?
Who stays up until 2 reading:
They cant on work nights but they both do on the weekends. Readings is one of their favorite couple activities, it special. Finrod reads to Rhys while they cuddle and they enjoy it immensely.
Who stares at their partner while their sleeping:
Finrod
Who kisses their partner while they sleep:
They’ve probably both done it at one point. Finrod wakes Rhys up with kisses a lot and Finrod takes a lot of puppy like naps on Rhys’ shoulder so Rhys has probably kissed him a few times. Then there are just random mornings when one of them wakes up in the morning or after a nap and kisses the other. Maybe more Finrod since he wakes up Rhys with them every morning, but i feel like thats unfair bc they both do it. So its both
