Apple farmer besties for real

Would probably invite Applejack!Reader to visit his family in Harveston.

The two of them are very competitive, so they would probably compete on who can pick the most apples, who can carve the best apple, who can carry the most thing, etc...

Would probably complain to Applejack!Reader about all the things Vil makes him do.

Feels very comfortable around Applejack!Reader and feels like he can be himself without being looked at weirdly, so he usually speaks in his hometown's dialect whenever he's around her.

Is very happy that Applejack!Reader can mostly understand his dialect, and doesn't hesitate to ask whenever there's a word she can't understand.

Applejack!Reader is the more rational one in the rational, and is usually the one to calm Epel down when his loses his temper.

Admires Applejack!Reader's strength al lot, ask her about her workout routine and trains a lot more so that he can be more manly than her.

Both of them have big families so they like to tell each other about funny things that happened to them and their family back home.

Was pleasantly surprised that Applejack!Reader seemed to have more manners than Epel.

Likes how honest Applejack!Reader is and often goes to her for her opinion. Vil doesn't want someone that only tells him that he looks nice in anything even if they clearly don't think that the clothes look good, he need someone honest that tells him exactly what they think without holding anything back.

Enjoys eating the apple recipes that Applejack!Reader makes him, he doesn't eat them all the time, but can still eat them from time to time.

After all, if one apple a day can keep the doctors away, it must mean that apple are healthy, right?

Very impressed by Applejack!Reader's strength, he didn't expect her to be able to carry a whole table by herself during VDC while Savanaclaw needed two students to carry the same table. (Yes, this is a reference to that one episode from MLP Equestrian girls)

I honestly feel like Vil and Applejack!Reader would have the same relationship as Rarity and Applejack.

Somehow always bickering about something, mostly Vil scolding Applejack!Reader for her lack of elegance while Applejack!Reader just argues back or something.

"Potato, it's only been a few hours since school started, how is it that you're already covered in dirt? No, having Alchemy class is not an excuse. Also, please close your mouth when you chew."

The both of them are somewhat opposites.

While Ruggie can deceive people as easily as he breathes to get what he wants, Applejack!Reader is horrible at lying, and values honesty quite a lot.

But both of them are extremely hard working and self-sufficient, so they are not entirely polar-opposite. Though, Applejack!Reader is, inarguably the more reliable one, as in, she won't try to steal something from you are tell you that you own her a favor or something.

Both of them really care about their families so they can probably understand the feeling of wanting to help their family as much as possible.

Ruggie was probably really intimidated by Applejack!Reader, since he grew up in Sunset Savana, where most women are much physically stronger and more strong-willed than the men, including Leona. And even though Applejack!Reader is no beastman, Ruggie has seen her beating up three Savanaclaw students at once during the period where she was rooming with Leona

He knows not too underestimate her.

Though he really isn't that shocked by her strength, since, once again, most women in Sunset Savana are strong than the men.

If Applejack!Reader ever proposed to give Ruggie some of her cooking, he'd probably be suspicious on if she wanted him to owe her a favor or something, but once he learned that she isn't, he would probably happily accept, after all, who is he to deny free food?

Considering the events of book seven, do you have any thoughts on Rollo with Overblot Malleus?

Hmm, this is an interesting question, but I'm not quite sure what you mean... 'with' is a bit vague. I'll try to answer from a few angles.

First, there are several different fan comics about Rollo coming to join Idia in fighting overblot Malleus. I can see this happening, though Idia might have to convince Rollo to come (or lie to him about the danger?) since I'm not sure how much Rollo could actually do to defeat him without those flowers... The comics are fun, though! I like them a lot. There was one that tackled the idea of Malleus trapping Rollo in a dream... Personally, I think Rollo would be particularly vulnerable to these dreams, especially one like Idia's where his little brother is alive and maybe even having his first day in NBC. Though Malleus randomly popping up, if they aren't in a relationship, might be enough to tip him off that something isn't right. If they're in a relationship, well... I kind of covered something similar in my Phantasmagoria one shot. Since Malleus really has no idea who Rollo's brother is, it'd be hard to accurately portray him, which is probably what would shock Rollo awake.

If Rollo was somehow in NRC while Malleus overblotted, he'd be stuck in a sweet dream like the others. There's no reason for Malleus to spare anyone. If someone like Silver went into his dream, I think it'd be hard to convince him to wake up... It's easier to question your beloved brother's generic behavior yourself than to hear some stranger tell you he's a bland automaton. Unless Silver managed to convince him that Malleus was behind everything, of course.

If Rollo and Malleus are in a relationship, it could be possible to avoid Malleus' overblot. But let's be real, Lilia handled his retirement incredibly poorly. The way he just drops it on Malleus and the others is, frankly, cruel. I'm not saying he's a bad person, clearly he has self-worth issues and doesn't understand how much people value him, but that doesn't make how he handled it okay and it's really no wonder Malleus took it so badly. It's so hurtful that it almost makes me wonder if he did it on purpose... Anyway, if someone was there to comfort Malleus, maybe the issue could be delayed... but I feel like there'd be some kind of outburst all the same eventually. Unless Malleus falls for a fae, he's doomed to lose another person he loves in under a century.

If we're thinking, like, Rollo talking to overblot Malleus, I can only really see Malleus wanting Rollo to be dreaming as well. His little briar barrier thing is expanding, right, so he could want to swallow up the whole world. Also, I figure anything sexual would take place in the dream world.

I've sent in interactions for Avery with Slyvan and Iris before. I think both of them would want to befriend Avery for the same reason, but perhaps with different ways of going about it? They just see a cute angry boy and go: Wow! :D That's so cute. But whereas Slyvan is all smiles and offering gifts, Iris chooses to tease the poor boy instead.

We both already know how Violet thinks of Vance. 😶 There's potential for a genuine friendship though! Once Vance stops being such a chaotic troublemaker and Violet learns to let a few things slide. Wyn would totally get along with Vance though! Their cheerful energy would bounce off each other so well! Though Vance's fourth wall breaks do scare Wyn sometimes.

Reading Merrill's personality and unique magic again...Iris would be drawn to him like a magnet. He's flirty, mysterious, and somehow knows the juiciest romance gossip in NRC? She'll be eagerly looking for any chances to talk to him. Perhaps they'd get along really well, perhaps Merrill would find her exhausting. Either way, he's not getting rid of her for a while. 🤭

Allen and Mia would get along like a house on fire. Cheerful and energetic boy, always smiling? Mia would like to know your location. She doesn't even mind that much when he does something wrong and claims he didn't know it was wrong either. She actually believes him when he says that! She'll just forgive him and tell him not to do it again ajsajsasaaksa So yeah, they'd be great friends! 😄

Emile and Roland are best gardening buddies and I will die on this hill. I can imagine them pruning leaves together now. 🍃

Austin is like a prickly little hedgehog that won't stop biting people lmao. Good thing Zoya is immune to tsundere behavior. I don't think they'd ever be friends, really. Just acquaintances perhaps. Zoya tries to be friendly and teasing with everyone she meets, and she might double down on Austin because he actually fights back. She loves a good challenge. Wyn is another one that would try and befriend Austin! He thinks Austin might just be shy or has trust issues, so he tries his best to seem trustworthy! Hah...My poor sunshine boy will get hurt someday at the rate he's going.

Violet and Minnie are 🤝 constantly are we know it. Their energies are almost completely similar so it's safe to say they'd make a great team! (Aajsaiodiandi I can imagine Minnie and Violet scolding Vance and Seth now- 💀)

Aurora has taken an interest to Hayden, as he seems to change his personality depending on who he's talking to, so the poor boy will have a mini panic attack whenever they approach him now.

Xenon and Riley superiority, that's all I have to say on this relationship. I think Duran wouldn't mind hanging out around Riley either, as long as he stays quiet and doesn't draw any 'fans' over.

With time and effort, perhaps Chandani and Blythe could be friends! As of now though, Chandani sympathizes for her poor vice dorm leader in silence. Perhaps she'll bring her a snack to relax one day.

Aurora would be drawn to Seth at first, finding him to be super interesting and fun! He's already 18, but he's only a first year? How odd. They'd start to find him annoying once he shows more and more of his main character syndrome though, finding him to be too self-absorbed to get along with. Xenon would also find him interesting, but prefer to observe him from afar. Maybe he'll find out more about Seth than everyone else watching him from behind the scenes.

Domestic Jack and Tsukiko Brainrot

A lot of this is just gonna be random thoughts but anyways Jack and Tsukiko domestic stuff. There's a lot of content in this post so it's all just gonna be under the cut. But be warned, it's A LOT

Also a warning, there's a mention of fights and pregnancy. So if that makes you uncomfy, you're welcome to skip this post <3

Because of work, Jack wakes up before Tsukiko on a regular work day. He uses this time to hold them and think about how lucky he is that they’re there with him. Also he hates going to work because he has to be away from his love for hours

After work, Jack will sometimes pass by a shop selling flowers or sweets and he’ll think of Tsukiko. So before going home, he’ll make a quick stop to pick up a gift to surprise them with. He loves to see the look of surprise and joy on their face when they see the gift 

Tsukiko would get a job designing and making clothes for people in a commission sort of way so they work primarily from home. So when Jack is at work they get lonely. They also switch roles almost with Tsukiko being the dog and waiting patiently for Jack to return home from work and being all excited when he does come back

Jack also likes helping Tsukiko with their work in any way he can. When Tsukiko needs to get fabric and other supplies for a commission, Jack is there to help do all the heavy lifting. He knows Tsukiko can carry everything on their own, but he likes helping them

Also I think in their house, Tsukiko would have a room that acts as their studio where they work on all their projects. When Jack has free time, he likes to sit in there and watch Tsukiko work

I also think on the weekends, Tsukiko and Jack cook breakfast together. On the weekdays, Tsukiko and Jack take turns making breakfast for the two of them. When Tsukiko makes breakfast, Jack will always come up behind them and give them a hug. When Jack makes breakfast, Tsukiko will sit on the counter and watch him. Jack makes sure to give them a kiss when he can

Some weekends, the two just like to have their alone time. They go out on their own or do their own thing in different rooms. This isn’t because they had a fight, but because they recognize how important it is to have alone time. But at the end of the day, they cuddle in bed until they fall asleep

They share chores and household responsibilities. And if the other doesn’t pull their weight, they hold them accountable. They don’t do the work for them but make sure to remind the other that they didn’t do their chore

They don’t fight often, but they do fight. It’s usually over something minor that they can make a compromise for so they’re both happy. But there is the rare occasion that they have a big fight. The fight will last days, they don’t talk to each other, and they don’t even sleep in the same bed. But they do eventually make up. Jack gets Tsukiko flowers if he was in the wrong and apologizes endlessly. If Tsukiko is at fault, they make his favorite food and apologize over and over again. If they’re both at fault, they have a conversation and make sure that whatever made them fight doesn’t happen again. But no matter what happens, it always ends with them giving each other kisses and apologies

Okay onto the wedding thoughts 

I think Tsukiko would make their own wedding dress and under no circumstance will they let Jack see the dress before their wedding day. So every time they work on it, they kick Jack out of their studio, much to his dismay

Jack memorizes the time Tsukiko takes breaks and finishes working for the day so he can always be right outside the door with food to help them refuel or just so he can see their face because he misses it

But on their wedding day, he knew the wait was worth it. After he sees how beautiful Tsukiko looks in the dress, he starts crying. He can see how much effort Tsukiko put into the dress and he’s incredibly proud of them

Bonus: Jack and Tsukiko as parents thoughts

JACK WOULD BE AN AMAZING DAD IDC WHAT ANYONE SAYS

Jack knows when to be strict, when to properly discipline his kids, and he knows how much and when to spoil them

Jack ADORES his kids as much as he adores Tsukiko

They’d have 3 kids. The middle child is 1 year younger than the oldest child, and the youngest is 5 years younger than the middle child

When Jack first found out Tsukiko was pregnant he was so excited. He showered them with kisses and cried a bit. I think they would have tried a few times before, but when it finally happened they would both be very excited

Jack is sure to be careful and take care of Tsukiko throughout their entire pregnancy. And I’d imagine there would be some moments where Tsukiko would have some major gender dysphoria at times but Jack would help them through it

When Jack finally gets to hold his kids for the first time he is so excited, his eyes light up and he starts crying. It’s one of the happiest moments in his life

Tsukiko makes sure to treat all their kids with equal amounts of love because they never want any of their kids to feel the way they did growing up

Raising their kids is a team effort and like household responsibilities, Jack and Tsukiko make sure to share the responsibilities of raising a child

Jack adores watching Tsukiko being a parent, like seeing them carry their child or play with them makes him so happy

Though when their kids are young they don’t have much alone time, they still find time to cuddle and give each other kisses

Here to Have Fun—Ace Never had True Friends.

Idk why, I just get the vibes that before NRC Ace was definitely the type of person that would float around groups in search of his clique that he could permanently hang out with— Like, let's not deny Ace has a big ego and he seems to have "baby of the family" syndrome but he gives off Cater vibes in that he surrounds himself with people and decides whether or not he wants to drop them as opposed to Cater trying to cover up the loneliness of moving around so much and never being able to cement himself as a person with his family basically overwriting him.

Ace was wildly out of pocket during Heartslabyul —don't get me wrong it was kinda funny with him being slightly insensitive during and after (the scene where Riddle was apologizing) and I wouldn't be surprised if he'd nearly miss his cousins funeral bc he owed him $20 but it also says a lot about him.

He's right—saying sorry doesn't mitigate the damages done, Trey's enabling was basically leading up to this whole debacle but he doesn't actually understand why Trey had been doing it—he understood that Trey was simply doing damage control and wanted his friend was in the wrong, that he'd made the most logical judgment with the priorities he had: keep Riddle in line and from hurting other's without ruining his relationship with him.

Was it a bust in the end? Totally. But Trey was doing his best. Spoiling (shielding) Riddle like a big brother would instead of confronting the issue.

Ace was right to say that it was Trey's fault but he refused to understand— which leads to another point I'm gonna make.

When Riddle came down from his Overblot, apologizing and all Ace bust out by saying apologizing was useless because he was inconvenienced—not just everyone else, him. Yes he made good points about the labor, and how he'd been punished to severely but here's where I make my case!

Ace can't grasp that people are their own, fully realized, dimensional characters.

Ace admits that he broke off with his girlfriend because she wasn't fun—childish asl I swear—but I'd also say that's he's biased and an unreliable narrator.

Ace probably broke off with her because he fell out of love with her or because he wanted to try something new and fun and exciting. Kids have jumped in and out of relationships for less—I remember wanting to date kid because he had a lot of crayons and thought that if I was in a relationship with him, I'd get my share of crayons.

It wouldn't be farfetched to say that Ace essentially did the same—for his own reasons.

He wanted to see what a relationship was like and realized that it required too much commitment—more commitment than he was willing to give. It's easier to say she wasn't fun.

I don't think this is a front that Ace is putting up, I just think Ace struggles with connecting with those around him on a deeper level I'm not projecting i swearrrr Which is why I see him struggling to connect with his peers. Ace pulls up on Yuu and Grim with violence on the brain in the morning on a school day—i can barely function when I wake up let alone in the morning what kind of "school fight at 7 in the morning" behavior is this?

You can also see it with his interactions with Deuce—they're frenemies because Ace wants to challenge Deuce to see what makes him tick which is why in Chap 5, Deuce screams "I want to be stronger than Ace" because they're constantly trying to one up each other—Ace is the type that constantly has hot air in the brain and doesn't understand how to interact with other's normally without being big ass and Deuce, who needs approval to better himself for his mother's sake and for his dreams, sees that as Ace being antagonistic.

Ace and Deuce are both put in leadership roles as well—Ace is naturally good at being a people pleaser without sacrificing himself and Deuce because he can command a room—in starry robes Trey and Jamil even comment that his enthusiasm makes up for his horrible dancing skills, or the Halloween event where his old gang members showed up and he was able to command them just as easily (b4 folding them like clean laundry).

He said it himself—he's there to have fun and dassit—Cater has fun in order to cover up the shitstorm of insecurities and vulnerabilities he has, rounds up friends and flatters others in an effort to get what he wants to curb the loneliness he feels. Cater is bitter because of unresolved feelings.

Ace isn't bitter and as far as we know he's got a loving family with his brother being a bootyhole to him for shiggles.

Ace thinks he's the main character lmaooo. And who wouldn't think that with how prodigious he is? Dude learned one of the nichest animal languages bc he fucked up and Riddle was gonna kill him. He was able to do the mental math of how much they'd all get, in cash, from VDC in Chap 5. Ace scored higher than bothe Deuce and Grim in Chap 3 which implies that he didn't need the notes in the first place he just didn't want to study.

Ace has a big ego as well and we can see that with his interactions, he also has a bug disconnection problem with realizing other peoples' feelings—so I can see him never truly having friends or a group he permanently wants to hang out with because he can't see outside of himself—he's not a bad person bc of that he just can't see why people are willing to go the highway instead his way.

He wants to have fun and with Wii music playing nonstop in that head of his, he doesn't really think about how his actions end up hurting others or when they get offended by what he has to say because of how provocative his manner of speaking is.

He can't see how someone could be upset with him or why.

It makes him lonlier than he wants to be.

Ambrose calls Yuu into his office in the morning and tells her the news.

"Crowley and your friends have planned a surprise for you. Do you want to go?" Ambrose asks, worrying what the surprise is going to be.

"Um...yeah, sure! I do miss my old friends," Yuu responds, getting excited at the thought of her friends at NRC.

"Well then, we shall go!" Ambrose exclaims.

Phillip, Yuu, and Ambrose walk to Ramshackle dorm and wonder what NRC is planning. When they get to Ramshackle, the bushes and trees are still bare, but at least the sky is clear and blue. Crowley greets them at the dorm's door and blindfolds Yuu as she steps inside.

"Crowley, what type of surprise is it? Is this going to make her stressed?' Ambrose whispers to Crowley.

"No, it won't. It should make Yuu very happy," Crowley responds to Ambrose.

Yuu lets out an excited scream, and Ambrose comes running inside.

"I can't believe you guys fixed everything! I even have a shower now! I can actually bathe!" Yuu squeals, jumping up and down.

"Oh, that's nice Yuu-wait, were you not bathing before??" Vil asks, getting scared for Yuu's skin.

"Technically, I used leftover water from water bottles, collected rainwater, and dew from the mornings to bathe. For soap, I used olive oil from the other dorm's kitchens," Yuu responds, excited she doesn't have to wait until it rains to have a shower again.

Vil walks out the door and goes to his dorm to get the special kit of skincare products made for Yuu.

"Thank you, everyone!" Yuu exclaims, hugging Crowley, Deuce, and Ace.

"I have to say the dorm is an improvement from when it was previously. Good job, Crowley!" Ambrose compliments, putting his hand on Crowley's shoulder.

"Does that mean you'll give us Yuu back?" Crowley asks, hoping Ambrose would say yes.

"We would, but Yuu and her cat companion have grown accustomed to RSA. In particular, Yuu and Phillip are getting along well," Ambrose responds, noticing the shift in Yuu's and Phillip's relationship.

The feeling from early in the night comes back to Crowley, and he realizes who's taken Yuu's heart captive.

"YOU! What have you done with Yuu? Why is she so friendly with you?" Crowley screams, pointing at Phillip, his overprotective father instincts kicking in.

"I haven't done anything. I've just been taking care of Yuu and her cat," Phillip replies, hoping he won't die here.

"Lies! Malleus cast a truth spell on him!" Crowley exclaims, much to Ambrose's chagrin.

Malleus pulls out his magipen and casts the truth spell on Phillip. The magical energy surged through his body.

"Yuu and I danced in the ballroom and kissed two times!" Phillip exclaims, covering his mouth afterward. "Hm!"

Silence falls upon Ramshackle, and everyone is looking at Phillip.

"How dare you violate our friend's lips, arrogant child of man!" Malleus screams, his eyes burning bright like a fire.

"I knew those pompous, flirtatious, chivalrous, and entitled princes would try something with Yuu! Phillip probably romanced Yuu with lavish gifts and food! The school basically bribed Yuu!" Deuce accuses, getting ready for a fight.

"I hardly think giving a starving, malnourished, and homeless girl food and basic needs is a form of bribery," Ambrose mumbles, looking at how ridiculous everyone was getting.

"You guys are all overreacting. Phillip kissed me on accident. I kissed him back!" Yuu exclaims, trying to stop a brawl from happening. "Oh, screw this! We both know they're too angry to think logistically now!"

Yuu grabs Phillip's hand and runs out of Ramshackle and into the woods. They pass by Vil as they run away from the mob of Yuu's angry friends.

"Vil, stop them! That boy kissed Yuu! Twice!" Epel screams, running faster than a gazelle.

Vil nearly drops Yuu's skincare kit and charges at Yuu and Phillip.

"Rook, hold this! I've got a pest that I need squash with my boot!" Vil screams, shoving Yuu's skincare kit onto Rook's chest.

Since when did these boys become my overprotective brothers?!

Yuu and Phillip run past thorny bushes and tree stumps that want to trip them at every turn. They keep running through the forest until they reach the picnic spot that Neige took Yuu to. They follow the river and hope it leads back to RSA.

"Haaa...haa...I'm so tired..." Yuu pants, heading in between the grassy canyons. "I never knew Vil and Riddle could run so fast in high heels..."

"Princess, if you need to stop and take a break, don't hesitate to tell me," Phillip says, sitting down on a rock. "We're close to the academy. If we head northwest, we should be able to get back to school."

"I can see my room from here. Let's walk a few more mi-" Yuu replies, tripping over a wet stone and falling onto the ground. "AAH! FUCK!"

Phillip rushes over to Yuu and scoops her up.

"I think I fucking sprained or broke my ankle or something!" Yuu cries out in pain. "It hurts so bad."

Yuu's ankle is swelling rapidly and turning into a disgusting reddish-purple. Phillip runs to the academy and scales Yuu's window with her in his arms. He gently puts Yuu onto her bed and tells Grim to fetch the nurse so Yuu can help. Phillip strokes Yuu's head and tries to calm her down.
