- Kel is TERRIBLE in the kitchen, so they eat out. But Kel still tries to keep Sunny on a somewhat balanced diet by giving him fruits and water at home

- Kel babies Sunny alot, whenever he notices Sunny doing something that he probably shouldn't be doing while little, Kel will tell him that he's just a baby right now and shouldn't be doing boring adult stuff

- Kel takes Sunny to the park (and occasionally the secret hangout spot) to play, he only does this when he knows that Sunny isn't feeling as tired or drained that day

- Kel has many pet names for Sunny, but the one that he uses the most is Sunshine. Whenever Sunny hears Kel say that, he immediately comes over to him (well not immediately more like slowly walk but you get my point^^)

University is really exhausting for you and taehyun does know that. He sees you sitting and working on your research projects till 3 in the morning and you again wake up at 6 to rush to your morning classes. He sees how exhausted you are and wants to surprise you .

You open the door to your shared apartment after another tried day at uni and you just want nothing but to go back to sleep. But the moment you close the door , taehyun comes and picks you up and spins you around. Startled , " what the fuck tae ? " You question him , surprised. Could I get HC for the M6 with an MC with a phobia of balloons? Or more specifically sudden loud noises?

I.E the beginning of fireworks their a bit tense but slowly calm down since fireworks are constantly loud so they get used to it. Sudden thunder if they don't notice the lighting beforehand and of course the main offender balloons. I mean they can just pop without anyone touching them, their all ticking time bombs waiting to pop when you lest expect it. The loudness of parties and drunken singing is fine because it's constant not sudden.

Also by phobia I don't necessarily mean ptsd but more if it happens once or twice their fine but tense afterwards but too much and they will just need to leave or at least gain enough distance that the pop won't be as loud.

M6 w/ an MC Who’s Afraid of Sudden Loud Noises

Asra

It’s possible Asra didn’t know of your phobia when you first met. If you opted to hide it, they would’ve discovered it when they brought you back and had to teach you everything again. It didn’t take him too long to figure out loud sounds really upset you. Except, they really did. You were ultra sensitive back then, so thunderstorms in a room where you couldn’t see the lightning had you wailing.

They found ways to calm you other than holding you and coaxing you to sleep (though he may have favored those methods). On days when you got paranoid of just hearing something that would send you flying, they found you a pair of earmuffs! They didn’t fully drown the sound out, but they cushioned the blow at least.

He could tell you were still somewhat uncomfortable though, so he studied up on a spell to tailor the earmuffs to be noise-canceling. They thought it would be easy but it was actually hard to find the spell and somehow administer the effect to affect the wearer - it was just complicated, but they managed for you…

Once you got used to your new body, the days were slightly easier.

It was not often you saw a balloon flying around Vesuvia. Until you wandered over to the traveling booths at the market and saw the horrors of big, bright balloons they had. You’ve had experiences with them, alright. Now, they’re floating in children’s hands like deadly bombs. A lot of them popped around you as you made it home and your poor heart was exhausted. As soon as you’ve even gotten near the shop, Asra’s run out like, “Are you okay?!” Lots of hugs and kisses that night, plus many squeezes from Faust.

If there happens to be rowdy children or just someone loud in the shop at the moment, Asra has a sign inside and outside the shop that politely asks customers to keep a quiet and clean environment. The customers wouldn’t really doing anything unlawful though, so Azz will just take the order over for you while you take a breather in the back room or upstairs.

Tosses anyone that yells at you out the shop. Dusts his hands clean afterward.

Julian

He holds you close whenever you’re scared or when you jump. He’s a big worry wart for you, so he’ll coddle you a bit. He knows he shouldn’t baby you so much though, so he’ll constantly ask if this is too muchhh or what else he can do for you.

Still loves to coddle you anyway.

Finds activities to distract you during thunderstorms if you find that works! Dancing is a rowdy and engaging activity that requires most of your attention to be on him. Plus! It wears you out to sleep through it when it storms through the night. He also has lots of pen and paper for writing or drawing as well as books to read.

When nothing he offers works for you, he’s willing to hold you tight and read you stories until you feel better.

He is not specialized in a psychiatric field but he considers that this fear might be coming from a place of pain that you have yet to heal from. He tries not to think too much about it because he doesn’t want to speculate something so vulnerable to you. When he thinks you’re both comfortable, he gently asks if you want to and if you’re ready to confront it with him or with a specialist. He definitely spent nights thinking about how best to bring it up…

He’s not very likely to be around balloons unless he goes with you to see a sick patient who has lots of flowers and balloons as get-well-soon gifts. So, unless you accompany him to many house calls, it’s highly unlikely you’ll have to deal with them!

Understands your concern anyway, and will respect your decision to step outside or even go home if needed.

Only ever teases and pokes you about leaving him alone. “Did you have too much fun without me?”, or “Did you miss meee? 🥺”

If someone yells at you, he goes full drama mode, keels over, and makes a BIG deal out of it like, “Oh, my poor, innocent lover! Disrespected by a poor bystander who didn’t know any better!” He is weeping. Please feel free to join him.

Portia

Unfortunately, she witnessed firsthand what loud sounds do to you. Throughout your encounters with the devil and his shenanigans, he was not afraid to take advantage of your panic and fear and Portia was smart about this. She’d go as far as to cover your ears while bracing for impact.

With the devil vanquished, life with her has been peaceful. Her cottage, for the most part, is very secluded and quiet, so it’s rare for something to get loud. The most that could startle you would be Pepi making a mess or Portia knocking over a dinner plate.

You’d always known balloons were awful experiences for you, and she has always been aware and careful around certain objects, except she didn’t think about balloons. She works many palace events, and if you choose to accompany her, you run the risk of encountering bundles of them! You were hesitant to stay after realizing how many they were, but she recognized your anxiety and pulled you over to a quiet corner.

She rubs your hands, covers your ears if you wish, and lets you calm down before asking if you’d like to stay somewhere quiet or return home. If you’d like to stay with her, she will come check up on you comically often, like you’ll see her pop her head into the room every thirty (30) minutes.

She also gives you her signature wink after telling you that you can take her away anywhere, anytime.

If you want to go home, she’ll understand, but miss you a lot. She keeps you in her thoughts whenever she’s busy. Like, “Aw MC would love the food here”, or “Hmm, I wonder what they’re up to without me”, and most of the time, you’re just relaxing or playing with Pepi. As soon as she gets home, she trudges through the house and a sleepy smile appears on her face when she spots you.

She also likes doing that thing to you where you cup your ears and then uncup them so it makes everything sound funny. She likes when it makes you smile.

Nadia

She’s fine with holding you when you’re scared. Fluster her a bit by hugging her for a lot longer than you needed to. She’ll keep patting your back like, “Are they okay now?”, but she won’t mind at all.

The library is a great space to avoid loud noises. People are rarely allowed in there, so the chances of someone interrupting your peace is highly unlikely. Whenever someone comes it, it’s usually Nadia or Portia and they know to open the doors slowly when you’re in there.

Many doors in the palace are giant and heavy. If left to close or slam, they will definitely be loud. Nadia has asked that those doors have door stoppers installed on them. Honestly, she should’ve thought of this when Lucio had his “slam every door dramatically open and closed” phase…

Nadia has many, many other quiet places around the palace, including her contemplation tower. She is not hesitant to invite you.

You’re unfortunately much more likely to encounter balloons when going out with Nadia. Yes, there are the occasional disguised getaways when you go out to the market with her, but Nadia formally appears at many events, festivals, and so on. She is comes very prepared, though!

Asra came over for an afternoon tea time and suggested the earmuffs. It’s very possible they didn’t tell you how you used to use them before you got better, so they’re very patient and explain how it works. They hope it works for loud events like firework nights, when you and Nadia would like to be with each other.

Nadia keeps a look out for quiet spots to get away in when you two are out.

She also tries not to flinch at loud noises to show you not to be afraid and that you are both able to protect yourselves.

If you believe your fear might be deep rooted in your past, she gently offers if you need anyone professional to talk to when you’re ready. She also recommends if you’d like to ask Asra about this. She is willing to listen to you whenever you’re ready to talk, and often reminds you not to be afraid of ruining a moment or anything like that.

If you were ever in a meeting and someone yelled at you, Nadia would swiftly hold her hand up to hush them, and glare while she asks them to keep the conversation in a professional manner. If they cannot handle that, she would ask them to leave. She claims there is no good way to do business with someone who feels the need to disregard anothers’ fears to get their words across.

Muriel

Arcana bless the forest in which Muriel lives…

It is so very quiet in this neck of the woods. It is like a paradise… Until thunderstorms come through.

Muriel was not aware this was such a big problem for you at first. You got scared a couple of times fighting the devil and his tricks, but you had to think quick and had no time to panic. The entire journey with Morga and back, you did not go through a single thunderstorm, so he did not even take them into consideration. The hut doesn’t exactly have many open windows either, so no lightning meant no warning.

As soon as he sees you freak out, he’s put his stuff down and is crouched beside you. When you’re able to explain, he opens one small window facing away from the wind so you can see and sits down in front of the fire with a fluffy blanket. He’ll wait for you to come sit by him, in his lap, or however you want, and drape the blanket over you. He holds onto you just a bit closer whenever he sees lightning so he can prepare you.

After the first storm, he put some thin pieces of cloth on each window so you can still see light through them even when it’s raining. He’ll still hold you whenever you like.

It’s no secret he hates going into town though, and typically asks you to go whenever something is needed, so he was not there for the barrage of helium-filled bombs that graced your ears one day. When you got home, you plonked yourself right into his arms and sighed. After he gets over the initial shock of having you placed so carelessly on him, he pats your back and hugs you. He’ll only wait until you’re ready to talk about it, and he’ll be there the whole time listening to you.

Does not have the capability to say anything inconsiderate towards your fear. He most likely has some form of PTSD from the colosseum and can somewhat relate, so he can empathize with you.

Begrudgingly goes into town with you just in case the mean balloons get you again…

Lucio

Lucio by HIMSELF is loud.

One of his more refined talents is observing physical tells. He grew up in a tribal setting, so it was part of his survival. He’s definitely noticed your fear, even if you’ve tried to hide it. He’s also definitely made fun of it before.

That was when you first met him, though. Now that you’ve started a life with him, he’s been getting used to apologizing a little more. Except, he eventually realized he said one or two things back then that might’ve really hurt you. He’s unsure of how to go about it or bring it up to you, so he just blurts out, “I’m sorry I made fun of you for being scared.”

You’re hella confused.

He explains the couple of times you’ve gotten scared in the past and what exactly he said and tries his best to apologize for it. If you forgive him he’ll be very relieved and hold you as his way of saying he won’t do it again and he’ll do his best to help when you get scared. If you still need some time to forgive him, he’ll be a little confused, but he’ll have to accept it was a soft spot for you that shouldn’t have been poked fun at. He will still comfort you when necessary.

His way of comforting is a little rusty, but he’s got the spirit! He’ll put himself in your line of vision and tell you, “It will not hurt you.”

He keeps trying to like, hold you or put his hand on your shoulder, but he can’t tell when you want him to touch you, so he’s just jumping back and forth. (Definitely tries to cheer you up by exaggeratedly jumping back and forth). He’s working on slow and soft movements when you’re like this.

Another way of curbing the loud noise is that he’ll wave his hands around and get loud to distract you. He’s trying to help you get comfortable with it by associating himself with the noise.

Someone yells at you? He yells back at them louder! And then turns right around to coo at you in his arms.

Imagine (I'm just this around 16 or 17) you had just finished one of your language classes/lessons (maybe with an exec, probably Verlaine; I can see him being multi/bilingual probably), and Dazai notices this, maybe from how you've been stressed out about trying to remember different words or phrases, and using the little free time you had to practice. So being the lovesick loser he is, he practices (in secret) to help you!

So one day, you're studying by the coffee table in your apartment, studying a few of the phrases you had learned that day. You hear the elevator ding from the hallway, you already know who it is, but you're busy at the moment so you can go and greet him. When Dazai walks in, he notices your furrowed brows as you study your notes and mumble the words to yourself. His lips part open before he can even think, asking you a question in whatever language you were practicing. (How was your day today?) Once the words left his lips, your head shot up, and all you could do was stare at him, a shocked expression painting your face. After a few moments of you (rudely!) staring, he couldn't help but fluster and turn away from you; a soft smile slowly embraced your face. (It's great now that you're here. Thank you.) You replied as his head shot back to face you; giving you the same look you had given him, before he had smiled back at you while making his way over to you, helping you practice for the rest of the evening <3

(p.s. I hc that 14-16 dazai had braces so he screws up on certain pronunciations and he has to yell at you to stop laughing, he's so silly)

Cole’s life is hilariously ironic.

He knows down to his very soul that he's a man of the earth through and through. He loves the feel of a cliff against his palms while climbing mountains, the crunch of dirt beneath him as he hikes along a trail, and even finds himself enthralled whenever there’s a quake rippling through the ground. Regardless, it’s easy for him to understand why his mother had been so drawn to it all as well.

And yet, he was still inexplicably drawn to the sea.

He uses the excuse that the sea is his muse: he does his best thinking here, gets inspired for new setlists for his nightclub DJ gigs, finds a renewed motivation to draw whenever he gazes into the mysteries of the waves…but, while all of that is true, he knows the real truth.

Normally, he’d put his headphones on while he draws, to really zen out while getting lost in his sea of creativity. But lately…there’s a certain subject of the sea that he can’t help but have his eye on.

...and also an ear.

Cole's gaze falls shut, letting his hearing become the dominant sense. It takes a few minutes, but Cole catches it—mellifluous notes born from a voice of velvet, copying the ocean waves as they both crash against the shoreline. Though no words are formed within the melody, there's still a...beckoning sort of quality to it, one that has pulled Cole's attention since the very first time he'd been privy to it.

And with a song that magical, it could only be conjured up by a creature both musician and magician in equal parts.

Hoisting his bag closer to his body, Cole moves stealthily down to the rocks beneath the pier, down to a secret spot he's been visiting frequently for the last few days.

From this vantage point, he can see—the mermaid that sings the song of sirens.

In a rather cliché fashion—if Cole does think so himself—the lithe merman lies himself upon his favorite rock at the crack of noon, basking in the unmarred rays of the sun. The scattering light makes the pink scales of his tail glitter like the stars of a late evening sky. The tip of his translucent tail-fin traces absent circles in the water, in time with the beat of the ethereal notes tumbling from his lips. The song floats along the sea breeze, capable of fishing in boats just as boats fish in...well, fish.

A lesser human, certainly, would fall victim to those dulcet tones in a heartbeat. Cole would claim he is not a lesser man, but…not even he is immune to the charm.

Still, the merman seems to only sing for his own pleasure and amusement; the notes aren’t loud nor intense enough to truly drag a sailor into the depths. No, Cole can tell—the creature’s only singing for the joy of it…and when fueled by the pure act of creation, that’s when the most memorable art is made.

Perched upon his own rock, though one bathed in cool shadows as opposed to the welcoming sun, Cole sketches the scene before him–the latest in his growing batch of mermaid illustrations. He's a bit upset that he can’t capture the song itself in strokes of charcoal, but he does his best to put the rest of the mer’s striking features to paper—the silly swoop of his pink-tipped burgundy hair, each fishy prong of his extra little fins, the delicate droplets that cascade down the expanse of his back, the way the scales of his tail fade into smooth sun-kissed skin, and those iridescent fuchsia eyes…

For lack of an actual name, Cole decides to nickname this mystery mer Fuchsia.

Cole never makes a move to draw the mer’s attention, nor ever get any closer. The days when he catches even a glimpse of Fuchsia are rare—as the merman is a rather jumpy one, and flees at the first sign of potential trouble—but the potency of his music keeps the pencil gliding across Cole’s page anyway. Even without his so-called muse sitting directly before him, Fuchsia still manages to inspire Cole.

The thought makes a certain warmth bloom in Cole’s chest, but he crumples it into a ball and stamps it down. Alluring, mystifying, and pretty though the mer may be, there’s no way he’d want anything to do with Cole, especially if the siren song isn’t being used to lure anyone in. Fuchsia's got his own world to live in, just as Cole has his.

Yet...a certain amount of longing remains present in the notes. For what reasons, however, Cole can't place.

It's simply a feeling that resonates in his heart...and, if Cole could, is a tune he'd like to resonate back.

A boat honks in the distance, cutting Fuchsia's song short. He flails in a startled panic and immediately dives—well, tumbles—back in the water with a resounding splash, while Cole sighs with disappointment. But, he's still faintly amused at how skittish his little mermaid muse is. It’s endearing.

Cole lingers, waiting for the boat to pass and waiting to see if Fuchsia will return for an encore. But Fuchsia appears to have had his fill of singing for the day, and Cole catches no glint of shimmering scales beneath the waters.

That’s fine, though. Cole’s seen and heard plenty enough today to work with…and daydream about.

...and besides, he likes to think he’s very good at keeping a seaborn secret.

I've had to comfort blue, we ended up cuddling when he got back,, I sang the two of us to sleep, and when he woke up, he kissed my cheek softly and mumbled a soft "Thank you",, aaughhh,,,

[Side note 4 paranoid: Whenever blue had those paranoid episodes, I've found another way of comforting them with my voice,, and now whenever he goes through those episodes, he'll either stand there frozen or just get to me for my comfort]

He was in such a spiral,, I felt super super awful for how the aftermath definitely made a number on him, every night he'd cling on me, to which I'd always nuzzle him to remind him how much he means to me,, every night he tears up and cried, whenever I'd see his dried tears, I'd clean them up for him,, aswell as brushing his hair that he was growing out, ngl I missed his mullet,, but hey, I'll love him no matter what <3

End Blue [OL]

... i felt so awful, and absolutely depressed when he began thinking of the things he's always been comparing himself to,, "My existence makes everyone uncomfortable, I'm a peice of shit!" Yet here I am. Thinkin the polar opposite, we both have had therapy times and during the end of it, I'd always ask for a hug, if he accepts, I'd rock him back and forth and hum a soft comforting tune,, if he dosnt want a hug, I'd ask for an alternative, and usually most time we'd always end up cuddling afterwards, I'm apart of his healing, I never want him to go through that ever again,

I'm not gonna talk about the abuser version of blue, he's nothing but a figure of his imagination, he isnt real. Not to me, and never will be real to blue,,

1) What is a habit your character has that others might find cute?

whenever thiago sneezes it's a very soft sneeze and he always makes a little >_< !!! face with it which is very cute because his nose scrunches up and all :] he also tends to pull the sleeves of his shirt over his hands when he's in deep thought or listening to someone, and he fidgets with his earrings a lot

2) Are there particular sounds your character is fond of?

thiago loves the sound of crickets and rustling of leaves! that's the sounds of the night to him and he loves sitting outside at night to just be in nature and to feel like he's part of the world :] he also really loves the sound of music playing in another room. he doesn't listen to music himself too often but he enjoys it when others are listening to music and he can kind of listen along, it's less about the music and more about the vibe and the feel it gives him

3) Is your character more prone to fight or flight?

thiago will always shoot directly into fight mode but usually in a cat kind of way. when something startles him or catches him off guard he will start slapping toward the source and he jumps back at the same time LMAO when it's an actual serious situation he will react more appropriately though, either by pulling out a weapon or jumping to take cover :]

4) Does your character believe in myths and fairy tales?

thiago doesn't necessarily believe in any of them but he IS very fascinated by them and loves reading or hearing about them! also a big fan of like, cryptids and stuff. DEFINITELY does believe in ghosts though and is also superstitious but wouldn't be quick to admit that out loud but you can tell if you watch him go about his business for long enough

5) What words could tear your character down?

being called a coward :] and funnily enough the two people he cares about the most in the world both call him a coward!! and they're right about it too!!! [dies in the explosion]

but yeah in all seriousness thiago is so scared of so many things but he's trying so hard to not let it show. and he's doing such a great job at it and despite his fears he's still kicking!!! but also the way he's handling some things Does in fact make him a coward but he doesn't want to hear it. he can't hear it because everything is already difficult enough for him as it is and if people can't even see how brave he's being about it all then what's even the point?

6) How well does your character act under pressure?

thiago thinks he performs well under pressure but he very much does not. in fact, the second there's too much pressure on him he ends up losing control of situations because he stops using his brain cells and tries to get to a solution as quick as possible without really taking any consequences into account, which in the long run only negatively affects him or the rest of the gang

7) Is your character good at practicing self-care?

no :( thiago has never really had anyone looking out for him or taking care of him so he doesn't really have anything to base any self care on so he just doesn't really do it. the best he can do is take a nice warm bath + jack off + go to sleep early with a big glass of ice cold water. but he considers that to be a once a month reward that he needs to earn :/ one day he'll learn he can just do that every day if he wants

8) What scents does your character find comforting?

any sort of homey smell!! fresh linen, cedar wood, anything warm and inviting and cozy :] basically this (the "he" in question is bodhi btw):

9) Does your character have any allergies?

thiago has a light allergic reaction to several fruits but that won't stop him from eating them, but he will also always complain about his tongue feeling weird afterwards. like yeah buddy what did you think was gonna happen

10) Is your character a light, medium or heavy sleeper?

thiago is a pretty light sleeper but also not easily disturbed by noises :] he Will wake up a little bit but drifts off into sleep basically immediately again. it's very difficult to annoy him when he's trying to sleep, the most he will do is roll away from you if you're trying to annoy him on purpose but he will mostly just be dozing off. world's sleepiest man

11) Does your character have strong willpower?

thiago has exceptional self control most of the time, unless he is very distraught in which case he will spiral so fast and do all the wrong things. he's very prone to just giving up completely when a situation seems broken beyond repair and in that scenario he simply gets up and leaves which is a very bad habit he can't seem to break. if he cares about the other person involved enough he will instead start doing everything and anything they ask of him without any limits in order to get back on their good side in some insane attempt to fix the relationship. also not very good :(

but in any other regular situation thiago is very self aware especially when it comes to vices and temptations. he knows what's good for him (and what's not) and knows what and where to stay away from

12) Is your character more likely to give advice or seek it?

thiago is more likely to give advice! whether it's good advice or not is a whole different story but he would rather listen to himself speak (and in a way he's also talking himself through the problem this way so it's a win-win) than give in to the mortifying ordeal of having to ask for help

13) How does your character relax?

thiago has somehow managed to convince himself he's the most laid-back and relaxed guy in all of night city when in reality he's definitely more like a neurotic prey animal than anything else. he thinks that when he's sitting somewhere in dead silence with nothing going on in his head it's because he's chilling and so relaxed but in reality it's because he's just frozen in fear of basically everything. but he doesn't know that. because he's a bit dumb

14) Is there a secret thing your character longs to hear?

thiago just needs to hear that he's doing a good job. most of the time he's not even entirely sure what he's doing or if it's gonna work out for him etc etc so just having someone else tell him he's actually doing Good. would help him a lot. also just needs to be called a good boy tbh

15) Does your character have a sleep routine?

not really! thiago usually just keeps going with his day until he feels like he's going to pass out and then he drags himself to bed to do just that. and then he's gone

16) Would your character feel confident in a fight?

absolutely. thiago is the leader of the gang umbra and he's a very skilled mercenary so he knows how to handle himself in a fight. if it's a fight with words though he will struggle a bit more, especially if it's with someone he cares a lot about. when he's doing his gang leader act and it's with some random person he'll be fine, but once it's with someone close enough to him that he can't use that persona and instead has to be honest, he will struggle with finding the right words to say and if he gets frustrated he will end up becoming very petty

17) Is your character more energized in the morning, afternoon or at night?

thiago is most energized in the afternoon! he's most focused in the mornings so he gets boring meetings and paperwork and stuff like that out of the way first thing of the day and then he has the whole afternoon to go out and do stuff :]

18) How often does your character have nightmares?

not all that often! thiago has a lot of very weird dreams that he can always remember in vivid detail, and while a lot of them ARE pretty scary he's mostly just intrigued by them and wouldn't consider them to be nightmares. however, the closer he grows with scintilla ("deity" that his gang serves) the more bad dreams he has until at some point he basically has nightmares every single night :(

19) Are there scents your character dislikes?

thiago really does not like the smell of night city :/ the outer districts are fine usually with the exception of everything in the north, the more industrial a district smells the less inclined he feels to hang out there because he just doesn't vibe with it

20) Is there a fear your character wants to learn to overcome?

thiago wants to become better at building meaningful relationships with people which means he needs to overcome his fear of attachment :] good luck with that buddy :] he will get there in the end. hopefully

21) If your character had to act in a play what role would they think they’d best perform?

thiago would be a very good main character honestly. and he knows this! and he's right!! as the prophet he's basically the face of umbra and he's a showman and an actor and he's charismatic and also he can sing so if it's a musical he can pull that off too. he would be very entertaining to watch and listen to

22) Does your character have a high pain tolerance?

yeah. unfortunately. thiago is a bit of a masochist (though that's not how his pain tolerance got that high, it's mainly just a mix of it's always been fairly high to begin with and he's been through a LOT) so like. yeah he can handle a lot basically
