I turn 31 in a couple of days I have to do laundry because I work overnight tomorrow & it’s going to be night one of four of 12 hour shifts and I can’t get up from the couch because I feel the weight of the world in my heart and having to do something that’s right for you doesn’t necessarily mean it’s easy and this shit suuuuuucks.

#I had to really cut someone out of my life today #and I had to be completely fucking brutal about it #so that the bridge was completely demolished #and I wouldn’t repeat a cycle #and uhm #it was really hard #to not do what I always do #so I know I’m doing the right thing for me #for once #but no one talks about how much this hurts #but uhm #yeah #I also turn 31 soon #what’s all this #this is what it is then #this is what it’s like #to grow up

Watching stage play with Milo yesterday was really cool

Eli #man. he was so sweet and caring all the time around Aesop #he would even put himself at risk only to help him man that rrally got me #he was there for him from the start and that just aougj #I don't know if I was expecting him to act like that #I mean. Don't wanna expose how Straight™ our irl friends sometimes are, but, a friend of ours has a niece who is, imo, genderfluid and otherwise ~waves arms~ queer, but, only being 16, they haven't found the right terms for it and is really looking for some specific box to fit into. (which isn't all that good but youkno, not our business)

So they regularly change pronouns, gender, sexuality. Anyway, our Straight™ friend was reading of an Instragram post of said niece, complaining about the new pronouns that came with it, and thought "ftm" meant "for the moment". We politely said it's not that and explained it. And, well, being on tumblr really does enlighten you about queer stuff huh

#this was not the first time we explained sexualities or genders to them #so they noticed #and uhm #we got noticed #also this happened like 2 years ago but a more recent Rant about the Niece has brought this up #they're still figuring things out #their family isn't supportive at all #I feel so bad for them :((#fr
