i keep thinking about falling for co-star Dom…becoming more and more affectionate on/off set, spending all of your time off together…and yet you both walk around telling everyone “we are just besties lmao” because you’re both oblivious as hell

no bc i really love this idea, like being his co-star in the next movie he makes after holdovers and he has a lingering anxiety, wondering if holdovers was a fluke and he isn't actually good at his job, and then he meets you at the table read for the film and he's head over heels instantly, your smile and laugh are infectious, you've done your studying for the film and your part, a pro in every sense of the word (also helps that he thinks you're stunningly gorgeous, even in your fresh-off-the-plane sweats and cap at the table read)

your characters play a married couple, and he sees the headlines criticizing the casting decision of him at 21 and people saying he doesn't look old enough to be married and that makes the anxiety and doubt creep in even more, but he has to put it aside, and you make it easy for him to ease up

filming your scenes together, and your director is very free and easy, she lets you and dom sorta feel your own way through scenes and how your characters would act, and she's very open with "if you feel like you'd say/do something a different way, go for it" and you notice that dom seems to be doing the classic actor move of Making A Choice where he's always looking at you? but eh whatever your characters are married and he's leaning into the "good husband" trope

but you're always giggling together and cracking jokes on set, and after you wrap for the day, you will both go back to dom's trailer and accidentally cosplay as a couple, you'll cook dinner together and watch movies and more often than not, you'll fall asleep on his couch, and it happens so often that crew quickly figures out to go to dom's trailer to get you for hair/makeup

the end of filming is getting close, and you have to start doing lil interviews for promotion and for digital release as "special features", and you're asked about working with dom and you're complimentary "oh he's so good at what he does, he knows what he wants to do, very secure in his character, and other than that, dom's just a good guy, it's super easy to like him and to be pretend to be in love with him" and you later ask what dom said about you and he seems avoidant a little? "oh yknow, just that you're a good actor and a cool person and good friend" like oh! ok! cool!

once you wrap, you're immediately onto another project, and you and dom sorta lose touch, it's not planned, you just both get busy, but you reunite for the press tour and it's like no time has passed, you're back laughing and cracking jokes together, best friends forever, and dom starts being very?? outright flirty?? it used to be more lowkey but the press tour is like he's turning it to 11, he'll fix your hair for you if it's falling over your shoulder weird and mumble "beautiful as ever", and like will say something "our director was really good, she believed in us and gave us flexibility in our characters... right, baby?" and looks at you and you're like "oh! i'm baby!" and he laughs "f'course you are, you thought i was talking to someone else?"

and it becomes A Thing of how you two are flirting and everyone thinks you're definitely dating, especially when you roll up to a film festival and have a dress malfunction, your zipper breaks while you're actively on the carpet in front of the cameras, and dom doesn't hesitate for a second before he's taking off his suit jacket (blatantly violating the dress code of the film festival in the process) and putting it on you to help hide the gaping zipper in the back, and eh whatever it's a beachfront venue and it's cold and windy, you'll take his jacket

and everything comes to a head when, at the film festival, dom is once again asked how it was to work with you, and he basically rattles off andrew garfield's "she was a shot of espresso, being bathed in sunlight" speech, and you can't hold it back anymore, you HAVE to talk to him, and you do, it's terrible timing because you're minutes from going on the panel for your film but you need answers NOW, and you ask "why would you say that stuff about me?" and he's confused "didn't you... i thought you'd like it?"

"i do! but people think we're dating, and that didn't help!"

"jesus, i'm really sorry... i was just— i thought you'd understand by now, but i guess—"

"understand what??" and you're like oh crap. oh CRAP!!!

"i think i've loved you since the first day i met you" he says "but you never— and it's nothing you did wrong, it's ok that you don't feel the same way— you never said anything back so i just assumed you didn't understand so i kept putting it on thicker so you'd get it, but... i see it now, i'm sorry, i-i'll stop"

and he reads your mind and draws you into his body, and he kisses you like he needs to breathe, his hands firm on your waist as you card through his perfect curls, and you both get lost in it, for a moment the world is only you and him, but that ends quickly when you're being told that you have a minute before the panel starts, and you sorta laugh when you see dom's mouth tinted and streaked by your lipstick, and there's no time to fix that, so you smooth down his hair as best as possible and watch blush fill his entire face and neck and ears, and you sit next to each other at the panel, fingers locked together, grinning at each other like lovesick fools

christina de souza kisses the doctor in planet of the dead and is overall very flirtatious at him in a way that almost feels like idk. an anti-romance plot. it's like everything that came before (and tbh... also amy and river song) in terms of "sexy" doctor-and-companion tension is lampshaded and made a bit silly. I don't know if this is just because the actress and dtennant have minus chemistry, but it's very funny that this is the final flirting + kiss and it's so very... "shrug, you're not going to be my companion, okay, goodbye"

*I think the only time the doctor even jokingly talks about kissing is in dalek's of manhatten, when martha and bby andrew garfield/frank have been captured and the doctor arrives. martha expresses her relief, and the doctor says something along the lines of: "well, you can kiss me later. you too frank, if you want." this is to diffuse a very scary/tense situation

**I tend to read the astrid final kiss as a kindness/comfort rather than romantic interest or sexual interest. because she is dying. and she kissed the doctor earlier, and is very scared

but wait! tentoo and rose were really going at it, you say! tentoo is part human/specifically human in a donna sense. tentoo is also super up for settling down and having a monogamous relationship, which isn't exactly the doctor's style in any regeneration. so yeah.. tentoo is another part of the tightrope, just like john smith. change the doctor into someone who is almost-but-not-quite the same, enough plausible deniability and voila, it's almost like the doctor is kissing someone, but crucially, the doctor still Is Not. in tentoo's case, the doctor is in fact watching it happen with a somewhat despondent look, before turning and leaving without waiting for rose to say goodbye. because, youknow. canonically the doctor cannot give rose what she wants (because he's not alloromantic/allosexual because he's an immortal alien) so it's better just to leave

lastly flirting: the doctor does flirt, but not often. the most flirtatious the doctor gets outside of above kissing line is when jack briefly joins nine and rose, and I'd call that the jack-contagion (affectionately, it's a good thing). ten, actually, flirts... less. comparably. (and hilariously is annoyed that jack flirts so much around him) a bit with rose in christmas invasion and new earth, but apart from the "sexy" wink, not very overtly. I mean, maybe I'm very ace, but I think they do banter rather than flirting. the one time the doctor interprets something as flirting that funnily enough isn't is when rose is talking to a cat. the doctor similarly gets flirted at (madame de pompadour, shakespeare code, martha several times, health and safety, silence of the library) but doesn't tend to enjoy it or often even notice it

he loves your style so much that sometimes he will steal some clothes from you (ones that he fits ofc). he loves your eyes and you two would have an eye staring contest. he loves your hands too, again i think he is big hand holder. he would admire and appreciate every curve of your body because to him, you are perfect with all your imperfections. your discipline also is a good influence to him because as time goes he sorts of absorbs your tidiness and discipline. your smile is the most important thing in the world for him. he always wants to see a genuine smile from you so he knows that he's keeping you happy and comfortable.

months into the relationship andrew gave you a mini pig (a rescue one ofc!). nonetheless, you took care of it with your whole attention because it is so precious and andrew is so thoughtful. even though a pig isn't an ideal pet for a couple to have, who cares anyway? you and andrew still give the little pig all the love and affection it needs.

there aren't many things you dislike about each other. though you dislike his carelessness. sometimes he does things out of the blue that will not end up so great. he dislikes your clumsiness especially if it'll end up with you getting hurt.

fights make things better for relationships (though those fights happens rarely). i don't think andrew would want to date someone that's too young with a huge age gap so he'll find someone his age so there are more similarities in what you want.

sometimes in the relationship, you and him will be a little childish, but it's all just for fun! all in all, i think the key to a successful relationship is to be mature in facing obstacles. you both wanted this to last forever so maturity is very important.

cuddles - he loves cuddling with you! especially when the weather is freezing and barren cold. he'd just drag you from wherever you were and lay down on the couch, he'll place your head in his neck and cover the both of you with the blanket you knitted. he just really loves cuddling with you so he'll do it any time.

hugs - you are a big hugger. you love hugging everyone. which is very pleasing to him because he loves it when you hug him. although your arms aren't as big as his, you'd still be able to wrap your arms around him and make him smile. he too loves hugging you. when he hugs you, it feels like he's protecting you, which makes him want to do it all the time because you are so precious to him that he didn't want any speck of cruelness in the world to touch you.

kisses - when you just started dating he found out that you love forehead kisses. so whenever a chance of planting a kiss on your temple is there, he'd take it. how you smile when andrew kisses your forehead is the purest smile he has ever seen, and he wants to see it often. also, kisses on the lips happens occasionally too! your lips taste so sweet that he just doesn't want to separate his from yours. he would definitely pout when you only give him a brief peck on his lips. sometimes you two would make out for god knows how long until you both fell asleep, face pressed against the other.

it was just a normal rainy night in his london flat. you two were watching a movie- well you were drawing messily on a paper. when he looks over at you, your eyes were focused on the drawing that you were trying to make shape of and the words came out of his mouth. an 'i love you' is said so softly by him and you looked up to meet his gorgeous eyes. you smile as you kiss his lips whispering an 'i love you' back.

yes it is. you love each other too much to just take this happiness for granted. he likes it when things are secure and knows where it leads to. he wants this beautiful relationship to last for a lifetime.

andrew's love language is definitely physical touch and quality time. so cuddling is a very good option (that's also why he loves cuddling so much). sometimes, you place your palm on his face when he is talking to you and he will press his cheeks further into your palm like a cat. you'd bake with him, do artsy stuff with him, and he'll enjoy every second of it. you would arrange a dinner in the woods behind your backyard and he would pray for those to happen more often (and it does!). you want him to feel loved.

at night before bed, he will sit on the edge of the bed, waiting for you because when you are together, he refuses to go to bed without you. he wants you to be the last thing he sees before he is off into the dream world and wake up with you tangled up with him. he will interlock his fingers with yours and kiss your lips before saying goodnight. also, you guys cuddle while sleeping, he will be the big spoon but sometimes you will be too.

andrew loves christmas so he will definitely celebrates christmas with you and his family and sometimes yours too! ever since you two introduced your families to the other's, holidays have always been so festive and fun.

I feel like Anya would overestimate the amount of alcohol she can handle - she's canonically tiny and that doesn't help either. And Dmitry would be fine with carrying her back home and letting her sleep in the day later. 

HOWEVER, I also feel that Dmitry would get absolutely hammered the first time he gets to an open bar event (maybe a skating gala?). He would try every cocktail and fancy drink - and Anya would never let him forget about it.

I'm really curious to know if kpop was a source of solace for anyone going through a sexuality crisis like it was for me in my early teenage years.

I think it's largely because kpop encourages fan adoration for these boy band members being cute or affectionate and there's just something so inherently safe and comforting about them. I grew to realize I liked these men because they brought me an unparalleled joy w their personalities, group chemistry, talent, and passion - my focus never had to be their bodies.

And yes, plenty of fans would enthusiastically post about someone flashing their abs or how toned someone was getting but there was always an equal enthusiasm for silly moments compilations, new hair color reveals, or praising concept photos and choreography etc. There was always room to enjoy kpop boy band members outside of just the pure physical.

I still remember when I hung out with some friends at 14 and someone asked me who my favorite one direction member was. When I told her I don't really know them but I liked Harry's voice, she passed me her phone with a photo of all of them and said "Well who do you think is the cutest?"

It struck me how as a girl it felt nearly impossible to tell people I liked a male celebrity for reasons detached from his physique. It brought me back to the confusion I felt when I was 12 years old and I went to a friend's birthday party and they started watching a Jonas Brothers concert dvd and screaming when one of the guys took his shirt off. I remember just sitting there, confused, trying to understand what all the hype was about. And then more recently, a family friend mentioned a movie they liked had Andrew Garfield in it, and when I excitedly said I'd like to watch it she added "oh we know why ;) " (assuming that my enthusiasm for seeing him act was connected to his physical appearance)

This isn't meant to bring down the way straight girls interact with and enjoy their favorite artists, just to point out how the idea of fangirling to me always felt like it had to be associated with admiring the male body, which is something I could never quite tap into.

The world of kpop boy bands felt much more diverse in the way fans could enjoy the content. As someone who found it hard to find a space where liking men didn't automatically equate to liking their bodies, kpop was such a safe and fun space to express that (and it still is!).

Any of y'all feel this too?

Im the andrew anon and OMG YES! I always wonder so many different things...like i always wonder if he tickled Emma ever? I feel like they weren't as much of a tickling couple as gwen and peter 3, but his face never glowed brighter than when Emma laughed! in a gentle world believed by his lovestruck parents to be a start to their beautiful life together in wales countryside, raising their bundle of joy and for a wonderful four years it was a damn fairytale come true. however, most fairytales have a distorted lesson to be learned and of course, it followed in the grimm's brothers' footnotes, the big bad wolf ruined the days following up to remus' fifth birthday. innocents lost, birth of a monster. happily family dynamics shattered on the floor into a million pieces, his mother was killed in the attack trying to fend off the attacker of her son, she fought with everything she had but it was all in vain. thus the follow through on the grimm's brothers blueprint, lyall lost a great fortune in the expense of a funeral and from travelling all over europe in search of a cure for lycanthropy... remus knew long before his father there was no such cure but his father don't want to believe it as that would mean his son is a monster and that love of his life is truly dead, never to return. healers scammed the lupin family for every penny to their name which wasn't a lot to begin with.

what came as a shock to not only remus but lyall was that on his eleventh birthday he received his hogwarts letter, never did the young wizard think he'd be able to attend the school. he got the letter purposefully on his birthday, not to mention a week later getting an unexpected visit from dumbledore and informed the father and son that he's made special arrangements for remus to be able to attend school... it couldn't come at a perfect time as he had begun to feel beyond cagey with his beloved father who had slowly started to lose his mind, a tad. hogwarts came in a blink of an eye, he was on the train and met a young witch named lily evans, they bonded instantly - despite her weird friend severus, he overlooked the kid because he rather enjoyed lily's company. and when they were sorted into their respective houses, remus was over the moon that he was in the same house as his new friend.

it didn't take long until he had some sort of brotherhood with the other boys in his dorm; james potter, sirius black, and peter pettigrew. though every dusk of the full moon, remus was sneaking out of the castle to had to the shack at the time... though many known it better as the most haunted house in all of britain, the shrieking shack. only did it get it's name from the wails, cries out in pain, and solitude of a little werewolf whom had to rip at his own flesh due to the wolf's frustration at being confined in one room of the shack. at least he didn't harm anyone else just himself. a monstrous thing deserved all the pain it inflicted on itself even though itself was remus himself. then in fifth year, he was accompanied by his friends on the full moon due to them mastering animagus just so remus didn't have to be alone on a full moon or the morning after, it was the kindest thing anyone had ever done for him.

being this young is an art, or it should've been for the marauders and friends but that wasn't the case, it was a bloody war-torn time. all in fear and all fighting for equality, secrets run high as the risk was higher, sadly that risk came to fruition as lily and james where killed in cold blood. remus floo in as quick as he possibly could, began to beg, and begged on his hands and knees to allow him to care for harry. he was denied but thankfully, dumbledore was kind enough to allow remus a few hours to say goodbye to the baby. it broke his heart... what broke his heart more was he had to arrange the funerals and only remus attended as all were in hiding or locked up or dead ( peter ). he was at the time the only marauder to bid true farewell to james, it killed him. he kept the eulogies he had written and read out loud amidst the headstones. shutting himself away, he kept his nose in the books and studied hard to become a professor though sadly wouldn't get his dream job until much later in life.

time ticked on by remus found himself constantly living in the past, memories of oh, i used to do that with prongs, wormtail, pads... he was in a living tormented purgatory. nights were extremely hard on him, he rarely slept and so, he started to become obsessed with the traitor within the marauders and he came to the conclusion it certainly wasn't sirius. and he even expressed to dumbledore his findings but it just wasn't enough evidence though just his word. in the same breath gave remus a job, it was overwhelming for him but he took it if it meant being able to truly meet harry. as fate had it sirius escaped his own hell. and the reunion of the marauders would happen, wormtail, pads, moony.

history repeated itself, the battle of hogwarts claimed the remaining potter bloodline - just like that completely wiped out. and it was a lose that came with a hefty cost. that left remus completely alone yet again. since sirius shut off, remus had to bury harry next to his parents to reunite the family together. once or twice a week remus finds himself sitting on the bench he had made for himself, and talks to the family as if they're still alive informing them of the shitty week he's had and then making a stupid comment for james' sake... he's lost it. he's lost everything he's ever known.

what's worse was during the first coming of voldemort's war, greyback returned to the lupin's cottage and killed his father. at the time, his father's mind was fading quickly, believing his mother was still alive to remus himself being that of a four-year-old... he was out during that period getting some food for the pair of them and taking his time while doing so. so, he blames himself quite a bit for his father demise and of course, lily and james... now, harry. if he had gotten out of the tower faster.

his smoking has gotten out of hand, stress cigarettes have turned into a daily occurrence sometimes more, smoking is bad for dogs and therefore should be able to kill the wolf within. or at least himself.

since harry's death he's tried to take his own life about three times, not to mention being neglectful on when he goes out, not covering his tracks in hopes some death eater would take him out of his own misery.
