I think I'll start drawing some fanfics. I liked that Ct/Hunter fanfic where it's a chance encounter, and a while back I saw an image that reminded me of that fanfic.

genuinely would have loooved to see angels wars' take on more angel types cuz they had their humanoid angels (angels and archangels) and a cherub once but i would love to see them do the more wacky ones...

im also kind of confused that the website says they are all powers because if michael is an archangel that is the 2nd-to-last in the hierarchy but powers r like. the 4th-to-last i think? i assumed everyone besides the archangel(s) were just angels (the last in the hierarchy) which i think makes more sense with existing canon. i guess they put their own twist on the hierarchy? idk [thinks about what could have been]

edit: son of a gun im reading abt angel hierarchies and 1) it does make sense that the main characters are powers (bc that is the rank associated with hunting demons) (i always thought they were more comparable to guardian angels, hence the name guardian force) and 2) cherubim actually are a wacky angel, they are the kind with four heads that i always mistake for thrones, but they are depicted like human babies for some frickin reason (this depiction is called "putto") which is unfortunately the angle that angel wars went with. first i was like aw man sorry for doubting you angelwars writers but then i find out they misrepresented a class altogether. whatever

For your #FandomFriday

Meridianpony’s Dominoes on AO3 is the bees knees, BUT - she also has a really wonderful AU fic called Compass and Anchor that was written with Angelwars. It’s a look at Echo and Fives if Fives had stayed behind to help Echo at the Citadel. And OMG. Angsty AF and sooooo much emotion, but such a strong relationship between those two. I especially appreciate how it must have felt for Echo to wake up in such a bad state, but to have Fives there to get him thru. 💔😭 CW: torture and allll the bad things that happen to Echo.

SUCH a good read. Everything she writes is amazing, but that was a surprise fav for me! ❤️ Hope you enjoy it!

OOOOOOH OK SO "DOMINOES" BEEN ON MY TO-READ LIST FOREVERRRRR (I've heard nothing but good things about it), but as an absolute ANGST AFICIONADO, "Compass and Anchor" sounds AMAZING. I will DEFINITELY be checking both of these fics out! Thanks so much for the rec, Anon!

Hello all! @angelwars11​ and I decided to do a collab for Fives week, an event that’s being hosted by the wonderful @painkiller80​ on tumblr! Day 2’s prompt is family. So... naturally we found a way to put as much angst into that as possible ha! This is literally lots and lots and lots of angst. But it will have a happy ending eventually, we promise ha! 

Fives protected Echo, always. It was Fives and Echo, Echo and Fives. That’s how it had been since the moment they were able to walk. Fives couldn’t leave his brother behind. Not even during the Citadel mission.

He was supposed to run, but he chose not to. It didn’t matter if that meant imprisonment, if that meant torture, if that meant death. Fives was never going to leave a brother behind again.
