This is another old angsty song art piece I somehow neglected to post here so I'm doing that now. The song it's based on is "Words That Don't Exist" by Citizen Soldier. It's a wonderful song though be warned it's heavy on dark themes and depression

Last art of 2023! And it's ANGST??

Why do I do this? It's finished, at least. I count that as a win. And I will say that I do have a happier Garthy/Jack piece that's almost done. I love them so much!

This is absolutely not canon - it started as pose practice with Captain Jack Brakkow, and then Garthy O'Brien got added to the mix. The story in my head goes that the Buccaneer Buddies got into a series of altercations with fiends who work for Grummsh-One-Eye.

In Pirates of Leviathan, Garthy is implied to possess celestial powers that formed as a counter-balance to Grummsh and his followers. On the grounds of the Gold Gardens, Garthy is incredibly powerful. The layout of the buildings form a religious rune that acts as the foundation of a Sanctum spell. (Pirates of Leviathan Episode 3, 1:55:30) (EDIT: That's confirmed in Sophomore Year - the whole Zajiri thing with the Orcish pantheon of gods. Garthy is a descendant of "risen devils" and is a kind of "holy succubi.")

So what happens if Garthy is caught off-guard while not on campus grounds?

PANEL TWO: Jack is a ratfolk pirate approximately 6 feet tall, with light brown fur and lighter gray-brown fur around his short beard and mustache. He kneels on an empty stretch of beach, the sun setting behind him and casting dark shadows. He supports the half-orc's slim body with his right arm, cradling their face with his left. The sky is orange, pink and dark purple. More abrasions are seen around Garthy's wrists and the tips of their fingers. There is surprisingly little blood, given Garthy's frighteningly pale complexion. Jack's gray eyes are wide and watery.

Okay everyone. So I feel terrible for not posting art in a long time, but I haven’t finished the comic panels yet, and it’s Valentine’s Day, so I wanted to draw something for it! I wasn’t able to start it until a couple hours ago, so here is my quickly done valentines piece of Cuphead, the lovely fan favorite 😉💖.
