So, while skipping through episodes, I had to witness (again) that messy clusterfuck that is the entirety of 9x11.

Once scene struck me because I hadn't payed much attention the first time, I was too pissed off. When Harry concocted that absolutely nonsense thing about the fake marriage, all people in the room laughed and mocked and fake-complimented, and they were all saying stupid things because it was funny, to them.

Danny himself, at one point, says his usual Mazel Tov line, and they all laugh. See? Even Cath is mildly amused that she gets to be a fake wife because thank god she escaped the real thing (yeah, she would've said Yes to Steve's proposal, maybe...only to jump on the next black helo and disappear for months or years with radio silence because only her job, not a relationship, was giving meaning to her life). She expects Steve to laugh too:

As a cis lesbian, it is beyond frustrating that most terfs are cis lesbians. I hate that many terfs use my sexuality and gender as an excuse for their hate. I hate that lesbian terfs have experienced what it’s like to be ostracized for not being attracted to men and then do the same thing to a group of people who don’t want to be men. We are allies. Trans women and lesbians are groups of people who don’t want men to be a part of who they are. Terfs diminish women to biology and bodily functions. Women are so much more than that. Being attracted to women as a woman is a beautiful thing. And I hate that hate is being brought into that experience.

As a cis lesbian, I want to apologize, especially to all my trans friends, that a large amount of hate comes from people like me. It’s beyond hypocritical and they are against what lesbianism is truly about. Trans people are always welcomed and accepted here and terfs will not be tolerated. Holding so much hate for others who are different is such a sad thing to do and I don’t want to be anywhere near that. Just a reminder that this blog is safe for all trans people and not safe for terfs.

I would like to say that I was the first passenger on the Sam Levinson hate train. Make Uryu be the center of the arc, alongside with Ichigo, poor boy was so erased after SS arc, so this was his chance to shine again and made his bond with Ichigo stronger

Well... This was interesting. I know we haven't posted in a while or even shared anything, but we've been too caught up in our lives to do so, and our focus has been on other things. However, there was something that occured just a few moments ago and I thought I would share it.

To explain what happened: We are a co-owner to a Discord server. I was finishing up on some things when I saw a user join the server. They seemed nice, and they completed the requirements so as to be verified, so I let them in. But when they saw our about info (We openly stated that we're an endogenic supporter without saying outright that we're endogenic), the person asked us 'what makes them real?' And told us to do our research. Of course, our host felt personally attacked as a soulbonder, but thankfully the person left the server, and we'd prefer it that way.

Our server is a roleplay server of Danganronpa and Persona, but because we came out to our fellow staff early on as endogenic plurals, we were able to make a safe space for endogenics. We have a few DID systems there as well, and while we don't get to speak to them often, we are more than happy to have them around because we personally consider them fun to interact with. It shouldn't matter how you became plural... The fact remains: You're still plural. You're still people. And no one should have the right to tell you otherwise, whether they are plural themselves or a singlet.

I finally read the full translation of Shua’s ment and I really wish wherever he goes, love and happiness follows him. It must’ve been a burden for him to cry the way he did and I wish the world would love him back ten times as much as he does. I admire him so much for his work ethic, his skills, and most importantly for how he treats everyone with so much kindness. for him to continue to treat the world with kindness after all that, he’s really brave

ANON IMAO ok so my perspective is probably a lil different than what you were expecting but here it is: I would never ever refer to myself as an Ethan Ramsey stan or anything like that. At most, I would say he's an interesting character. He was also my first Choices LI *ever* because he falls into multiple tropes that I actually like. So I don't really care if people romance him or not because I was in the same boat, he did have some well-written LI scenes even if they were at the expense of other LIs. But denying the privileges he got throughout the series/his flaws as the resident white male LI would make you appear ignorant.

It was easier for me to see his flaws after I switched to Bryce as my LI. I bring this up because going back to your ask, I don't think his existence in and of itself was the issue even though he seemed more whiny when you weren't taking his route. All PB had to do was equally divide the screen time between all the LIs, and they didn't. They didn't because they did not want to risk losing their primary audience of cis white women who chose Ethan as their LI. It's genuinely upsetting to me that more people would have probably romanced Jackie or Rafael given they had more scenes where we could have learned more about them, not just behind a paywall. Also, let's be honest, even if he wasn't an official LI and a mentor figure, people would still find a way to give him more attention than the love interests of color.

There's someone in the fandom who writes essays about the Choices books, I think their more recent ones have to do with TRR specifically. But it makes me wonder if Ethan's popularity as an LI was the start that led to the prominence of single love interest books because I know for a fact that if OPH was released now, Ethan would be the only LI.
