Hazbin Hotel Headcanon:
This is gonna be a long walk, so stay with me.
Okay, so, it's biblically canon that Lilith left Adam because the dude was really bad in bed. Hazbin Hotel canon seems to follow that narrative, as well.
And, if you want evidence that he's bad in bed, I present you with Exhibit A:
Tumblr media
No man who is actually good in bed would say such a thing. Also, the way he talks to and about women...
Tumblr media
And, if you do like it...well, that's your business and I'm not judging you. To each their own. But, I digress.
Back to the point, Lucifer even alludes to the fact that he has had sex with BOTH of Adam's wives.
My evidence:
How Lucifer won over Lilith:
Tumblr media
How Lucifer won over Eve:
Tumblr media
Now, I headcanon that Lilith, Eve, & Lucifer had a threesome type of deal going on.
Lilith does NOT seem traditional, & I don't know much about Eve from the show other than that she was definitely into sleeping with that little duck obsessed sexpot (aka Lucifer).
Tumblr media
And why wouldn't they be into Lucifer?
Adam's first wife left him for how selfish he was in bed, Adam probably wasn't any better with Eve, and we know from certain hand/mouth gestures that Lucifer is a GIVER.
Maybe Lucifer was cast out of heaven because he taught the first two women that orgasms weren't just achieved alone, but they could happen with a partner, as well.
Tumblr media
All of this has got me thinking:
--Either God kept purposefully making women that he knew Lucifer would be attracted to. Why? Idk, maybe to mess with Lucifer & Adam.
--Or, because of Adam's hubris & general blasphemous belief that people exist because of Adam & not because of God's own will, God made it so that every single woman Adam married would be attracted to Lucifer and Lucifer would be attracted to all of Adam's wives.
--Or, at some point, Adam made Lucifer so angry that Lucifer's type just became Adam's Wife.
Either way...
Tumblr media
Which brings me to my main headcanon that if it is revealed that Lute & Adam were secretly married prior to Adam's death, then Lucifer & Lute might become attracted to one another.
Now, I don't ship Lute & Lucifer. I just think it'd make Adam mad, and that would make me laugh.
Scenario:
Lucifer: Wait...Adam got married for a third time before Niffty killed him???
Vaggie: Well, yeah, I thought it was pretty obvious that Adam & Lute were waaayyy closer than normal.
Lucifer: Huh...interesting...
Charlie: Dad, ew!
Lucifer: I didn't do anything!
Charlie: Also, Adam is a new soul in Hell, and he's at the hotel for redemption. Do NOT slow down his progress by antagonizing him like this.
Lucifer *innocently*: I have no idea what you're talking about, Char-Char.
Vaggie *clearly confused*: What's going on?
Lucifer *abruptly stands up*: Anyway, Daddy's got to go. He's got someone-oh, uh- I mean, somehwhere to do-be! He's got somewhere to be!
~Lucifer Skedaddles~
Vaggie *still cofused*: What was that about?
Charlie *embarassed*: Well...my dad has a type...
~After Explanation~
Vaggie: Oh. My. God.
Charlie *head in her hands*: It's so gross and weird!
Vaggie: Yeah, well, at least there's no way Lute will be in to him, too.
Charlie *sighing sadly*: I can only hope you're right. For whatever reason, Adam's wives find my dad as irresistible as he finds them.
Vaggie: Ew.
Charlie: Ew is right. Ew. Is. Right.
~Meanwhile, Somewhere in Heaven, Lute is talking to Lilith & Eve~
Lute: I hate Lucifer, and I hate you both, too!
Lilith & Eve: We know.
Lute: He's so stupid, and he's so obsessed with ducks, and he's so ancient. I mean, how old is he? Like, he's probably older than space and time, or something equally as lame. He's so old he probably even keeps bees or something.
Liith & Eve: MmmHmmm
Lute: I mean, he definitely looks like he's bee keeping age.
Lilith & Eve: *smugly know what's going on*
Lute *horrified*: Oh, no, I want to fuck Lucifer.
Lilith: No shit.
Eve: Welcome to the club!
This is Lilith, Eve, & Lute:

If any of you read the whole thing, thanks, and I hope you have a good one!

It's so important to me that we all understand that hell and heaven in the Hellaverse aren't like two separate territories with equal power in a war that heaven happens to be winning.
Hell is a territory that Heaven rules.
Lucifer may be the king, but that is a position he was given by Heaven, because they have the power and authority to place people in charge of Hell,
And it's all well and good he WANTS to do better as a ruler. That he takes it seriously, or did at one point and/or is coming around to it again in the show, but its a possition with only as much power as Heaven wants to give it, and they want it to have less power than the General of Heaven's army, because Sera listens to Adam before she listens to Lucifer.
Lucifer, an Archangel, doesn't get to make demands of heaven. He doesn't even try. He gets to ask Sera to please stop the genocide of the people he was told to watch over. He gets to concede when they say no. Because heaven just gets to say no, because they get to decide what happens in hell without taking into account the opinions of Lucifer, or the seven sins, or the goetia or anyone in hell.
We all get that right?
That Charlie and the other's defending the hotel wasn't just the citizens of hell going up against an invading army. It only counts an an invading army ans not the occupying force because they don't actually stay there year round
Hell didn't just win their first battle in a war that's been raging for millennia. That was the first time hell organized to fight back against their theocratic dictatatorship- if not ever, than in millenia.
That was act of rebellion.
That was Hell declairing independence.

I really dislike the fact they made Adam a sexist douchebag who demanded to have control over Lilith. It paints sexism as an innate, hereditary quality that men "can't help" but adapt.
If you really wanted to critizise christianity, focusing on how it teaches mysoginy to its followers could have been interesting. Children don't just come up with these concepts; they're taught by adults and society.
Viv could have written about how god taught Adam about hierachy and how he needed to be in charge because as a man, he was supposedly closer to god's true image than Lilith, a woman. How god had rigid ideas about who should be in charge because of his own arrogance, and how he tried to make women subservient to men because equality threatened his heavenly hierachies.
Of course he was against Adam and Eve eating the apple. It gave them the self- awareness and knowledge to question his ideas and reject him.
Hazbin could have been so interesting, but instead, Viv went with the "men are pigs, they're born like that and it's in their nature" route that only ends up affirming sexist believes.

BEHOLD, a meme that was made in a few minutes on GIMP- And no one cares...great...
Sooooooo Hazbin Hotel....what do I think?
It's peak fiction, sure the pacing is a bit off and the finale was a bit rushed imo (blame Amazon and A24 for that). But despite some flaws, I do think that this show is good; as in like:
"YO, WHO TF WAS COOKING AND GIVE THEM AN AWARD"
And since Season 2 is in the works rn, that'll allow them to flesh out some moments from Season 1 as like 'BackFlashes', see more of Sir Repentious and Emily, Alastor's and Lilith's interactions, and possibly Sinner!Adam. I SOOOOOO EXCITED AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!

you know what Looking at blitzo and stolas “relationship” it makes me realize that Vivzepop writes relationships/couples in the most horrible and toxic ways possible yet she wants the fandom to believe they are a good couple even though they are not
examples
Lute and Adam
(I know they are not a official couple but it definitely feels like lute had romantic feelings for him)
That mf basically treats lute like shit calls her bitch/dumb bitch and literally being a misogynistic asshole at the final episode suddenly lute crying because Adam is dying like girl why are crying over someone who called you a bitch!?
then we have Millie and moxxie like yeah they are happily married and we seen be a good couple but why doesn’t Millie stop blitzo and loona from treating him like shit and don’t get me started on unhappy campers like wow moxxie you actually getting mad because a bunch of kids find her cool and giving Millie attention to the point y’all argue over it???
Charlie and vaggie is just…unseasoned yuri like no seriously those two are just the lesbian couple of Millie and moxxie like vaggie doesn’t barely have a character besides being Charlie girlfriend and that’s it hell she doesn’t even barely save her from getting her ass kicked by Adam then Charlie fucking dad had to catch her EVEN THOUGH VAGGIE HAD HER WINGS AND SHE COULD EASILY SAVE HER GIRLFRIEND
I know this is about to sound mean but Vivzepop needs to stop gaslighting her fans to think these unhealthy couples are perfect for each other

Im demented I spent three days on this shitty flipaclip animatic for a show I don't even like but at least my redesigns look crisp lmao
Edit: Also any part where Charlie interacts with V is my favorite, especially when she bumps into her i'm very proud of that. And now I'm in a better mood than when i posted this, and i can explain some choices. My main thing with this was making it less dizzying, that's one thing i can't stand about hazbin, the camera won't stay still for five seconds. holding on a shot can work but they won't and it's so hard to follow. I think mine is much better in that regard.
Okay second Edit: I wanted to brag about some things i did. So i tried to make Adam take up as much of the frame as possible, most of the shots are from Charlie's perspective and show him looming over her, even when she isn't in frame i wanted the viewer to feel like they're her - he's staring down at the camera and the angles are low. Especially when he gets on her level and shoves himself in her personal space which i tried to have him do as often as possible. I wanted him to come off as domineering and a total jackass. Tbh Adam was actually a character i found myself enjoying in the show and now that he's dead idk how tf i'm gonna make myself sit through season 2.
ALSO Charlie's pose at the beginning where she's trying to reprise happy day in hell is mirrored by Adam later when he first says hell is forever and not to suck my own dick or anything but i thought i was very clever for that

Alrighty so I've got an idea for a rewrite of Hazbin Hotel's Adam: Don't make him Adam, but Jephthah.
If you don't know what the hell I'm talking about: Jephthah's a guy in the Bible who was a warrior. He promised God that he would sacrifice for him the first thing that greeted him when he came home in exchange for beating the Ammonites. God said "sure bud lol" and when Jepthah came home his daughter was the first one to greet him, much to both of their dismay. After bewailing her virginity for 2 months Jephthah's daughter was sacrificed to God.
These videos can help explain things.
youtube

Making him the leader of the angels would make sense since he was already a mighty warrior in the Bible. Here I imagine he'd be more of a pawn that's manipulated and lied to, definitely more tragic than the one note sexist pig we get in canon. He's pretty pissed about being forced to sacrifice his daughter.
Speaking of Jephthah's daughter, you could make Lute his daughter. Perhaps the two were cursed never to recognize each other or something. And in that case you could have it to where the curse is broken when Jephthah dies, his only relief being that he finally got to see his daughter again one last time. Lute gets angry at the main crew for killing her father and plots their destruction.

I Am Officially Disappointed With The Direction They Are Going With Heaven
Tumblr media
Ever since the "Cherubs" episode happened, I wasn't confident that heaven would get as much nuance as the folks in hell and this shows with Adam I was right. It's really going to be the switch of heaven is just as evil or even more evil than hell, while hell is flawed but full of otherwise misunderstood people. This ignoring the fact that it's hell and many people there are show to be worthy of being there which includes Valentino and those guys in the aforementioned "Cherubs" episode.
I even was uneasy when the premise was first dropped and it was that heaven was sending these angels to slaughter which in my opinion always made no sense to me. If they don't care about sinners then why sent exterminators out and just make hell's king reside over them. Again it's questions like that made me realize that this world isn't as well thought of as Vivizepoop thinks it is. It also doesn't help the head exterminator is fuking Adam as in the ancestor of all humanity and the first sinner. I know in actual beliefs Adam did find redemption in God, but I wouldn't think enough to be made an angel because Angels biblically are purely created beings by God. Wouldn't he actually be vouching for more sinners to be saved since they are his descendants? It also doesn't help he's turned into a strawman misogynist because that's also original when depicting heaven.
And again revealing in the first fucking season that Charlie can visit heaven and that there is a war just reeks of rushed development. Instead of building up to it until probably the later seasons we are getting it all here, which makes you wonder what else can you do after that. After realizing that heaven isn't going to accept people in and having a war, where does it go from there. It really shows me Vivziepoop really doesn't think and just wants to get to the good stuff without earning it through slow development. This is why it's really going to be lackluster as heck.
Also it really feels like the focus on heaven will be like a shallow depiction thought of by one of those reddit atheists where they don't understand shit about theology but claim to be the best experts because they are former Christians. Just like with the goetia, she will cherry pick what she uses and then use her own interpretation. And from what I have seen how she interprets the sins, it's going to be a doozy especially if she does the cliche reverse and depicts all angels as evil with no depth.
All in all heaven is everything I was justifiably feared it will be and Vivziepoop will praised as so-called original when it's anything but that.

Okay, @rius-cave has inspired me to make an AdamsApple (with side RadioHusk and a HolyDust friendship) angst fic, so here is a link to it on Ao3, cause it's kinda long.
Summary: Lilith returns to Hell. The problem? Adam was hooking up with Lucifer and was about to confess his feelings. Alastor has a deal with her and is very unsafe with her around. Angel and Husk are great best friends for them. So naturally, shit comes out at the breakfast table.
Please enjoy!

You and I had the same thought on Adam being basically a white boy
Yep. It really left me miffed. I would have preferred it if he had a more dynamic design or even resembled Lilith in some way. Nope. We were basically given some one dimensional edgy incel/basement dweller gamer type with no nuance nor depth to him.

What if charlie and alastor grew up togethr ?
For that to happen, Lucifer would have had to know about Alastor from the beginning*. I don't think he would have taken Alastor away from Nicaise, and she wouldn't have wanted to live in Hell, even if it did mean living in luxury. The guilt and the feelings of betrayal are still there - it certainly doesn't help his crumbling relationship with Lilith - but Lucifer wants to keep an eye on his friend and their child. So he peeks in on them on Earth, occasionally pops in to grant a couple small miracles or gifts. Never staying long just in case Heaven catches on.
Then Nicaise is murdered by her employer. And there is no way in hell that Lucifer is allowing that fucking piece of shit to keep her child! Lucifer books it over as soon as he can and finds Alastor sleeping in a shed and, oh, he is not happy. He doesn't kill Nicaise's murderer. It's enough to flash his wings, horns out, spitting flames as he informs the man that Hell is real and he's bound to it before disappearing with Alastor**.
So now, in just the span of a few days, Alastor: has witnessed his mother's violent murder, has been effectively kidnapped by her murderer, was forced to sleep in a shed that smells like dogs, found out that angels and demons are real and that his father is one, has been whisked away to live in another world that transforms him into a monster as soon as he enters it, and is now expected to get used to living with his mysterious father as well as a new step-mother and half-sister. Needless to say, it's a lot.
So naturally, he's a bit shaken when he first arrives in the Morningstar household. He doesn't speak and spends most of his time shut up in his new room which is way bigger than his old house was. Lucifer's awkwardly trying to balance giving him the space he needs and make him feel welcome. Lilith isn't terribly thrilled with the situation, but... Well, she seems to have a lot of compassion for her people. I don't think she would really turn out a traumatized child, but she's definitely going through some complicated emotions of her own.
Charlie has none of the reservations the grown ups have. In fact, she's suuuuuuuuuuper excited to meet her new little brother! Even if he doesn't look that much littler than her***. So she slips into his room, tries to drag him out of bed, pesters him, and generally just acts like an excitable, friendly child. As much as Lucifer and Lilith try to get her to give Alastor space and time to adjust, she keeps coming back. Her little brother looks so sad and she doesn't want him to be sad! She wants to help him feel happy!
She remains persistent, telling Alastor all about her home and family and insisting that he'll like it soon because her mom and dad are really nice and she loves him already and he'll love it there in Hell and...
She stops as she sees the tears start to roll down Alastor's face. Charlie begins to panic, thinking she's said something mean by accident, but then Alastor sobs out that he misses his maman and just wants to go home! Suddenly Charlie feels really bad. She doesn't know how to make things better. So she just stays. Sits next to him. Doesn't leave him alone. Sheds a few tears of her own.
Once Alastor's cried it out and tired himself out a bit, Charlie asks him what his mom was like. They spend all night talking about her. When Lucifer goes to check in on Alastor later, he finds both kids passed out on the floor in a pile of blankets.
It's still rough going from there on out, but Charlie plays a large part in helping Alastor heal after everything. Some things still stay the same. Lucifer and Lilith's marriage still struggles, she disappears, Lucifer pulls away from now both of his children in his depression. And Alastor still has a lot of anger. He doesn't really agree with Charlie's goal of redeeming sinners because he fully believes that some people just aren't worth redeeming.
Still, he goes with her whenever she searches for injured sinners after the exterminations. He and Vaggie actually get along a bit better here. They still snipe at each other quite a bit, but there's an almost friendly undercurrent to it. And although he doesn't really believe in the goal of redeeming sinners, he does go along with the Happy Hotel project just to help Charlie out. Doesn't stop him from mocking the idea every step of the way.
This version of Alastor hasn't really developed the Radio Demon persona. He doesn't exactly need to, given he's the Prince of Hell. But he's still Alastor and still cultivates a terrifying reputation for himself. Charlie's grown up with this Alastor though and knows the man behind the curtain. She's not always happy with how quick he is to suggest violence as a solution, but she also knows that when he sees a weaker demon being preyed upon by stronger ones, he'll step in.
He's also protective of Charlie, and usually takes it upon himself to step in and do things that he sees as necessary but he knows she wouldn't like. For example, after finding out how Valentino treated her when she went to the studio, Alastor pays his own visit in private and makes sure Valentino knows if he tries to pull any shit like that again, Alastor will pick apart his soul piece by wretched piece and scatter it across all the rings of hell. Charlie knows he did something when the next time she sees Valentino, the pimp screams bloody murder and throws himself out the nearest window.
(*Just imagine Lucifer, wings out, attempting to drunkenly climb out of Nicaise's window, only to get stuck, give up, and slump over on the floor.)
(**The old bastard spends the rest of his life donating his wealth to build orphanages and hospitals, helping the poor, and basically trying to buy his way into Heaven. It doesn't work and he's slaughtered during his first extermination in hell.)
(***Charlie at this point should be roughly a century old, but to be honest, I'm not entirely sure what that means for a half-angel half-demon like her. Did she age at a typical human rate until she reached young adulthood and then just stopped? Or did she just age very very slowly? I'm going with the second for the sake of this AU. I also have this theory that Lilith never actually died, and was transformed into a unique sort of demon simply by entering primordial Hell. And something similar happens to young Alastor when Lucifer brings him home.)
