Being SYSMED harms TRAUMAGENIC SYSTEMS!
I am an OSDD-1b system who used to be a sysmed/traumascum, and it harmed me. I encourage other systems to avoid being sysmed.
Sysmeds believe all systems suffer from dissociation, should fuse into one, and that the host is most valuable. They often see being a singlet as superior to having alters, and may believe being professionally diagnosed is necessary. They think systemhood can only start from trauma at a very young age- yet if you're 15 or younger and know that you're a system your experience should be doubted. Being a sysmed can lead to hurting your system by abusing alters and seeing them as burdens or less valuable then you as a host.
When I became pro-endo(again), I learned to respect and appreciate my system, while as sysmed- I abused my alters, especially persecutors, because "the host is most important" mentality sysmeds share.
Embrace your DID/OSDD system, it's a part of you that won't go away. Being pro-endo can help shift your mindset from seeing your system as a burden to a positive aspect of who you are as well as gain their support and love. Accept support from those who understand, even if their experience doesn't perfectly match yours.
Endogenic systems deserve respect even if you think they are "confused" or "un-knowingly traumagenic" so let go of any hostility towards them. Trust that their experiences are genuine because frankly- its their right to know what experiences they had, not yours.

I just wanna say, I've never seen an anti-endo over 26. They always tend to be like 23 and under.
And they always act like they know more about mental health topics than people with 5-10+ years of life experience on them.
Guys. If you are in a traumagenic system, maybe don't chase discourse and argue with people ten years older than you while you're still cooking the decision-making part of your brain and there's more than one traumatized cook in the brain kitchen. Speaking from experience.

Just a reminder
If you're following this blog and you are an endogenic "system" or you support endogenic "systems", we don't want you here. Alters can't come from anything other than a Dissociative Disorder caused by trauma. Being a system is not an identity you can just pick up and adopt like gender and sexuality labels; it is a symptom of mental illness, and to try and detach the idea of being a system from being mentally ill and being traumatized stems from ableism and sanism.
The endo community has done unfathomable damage to the OSDD/DID community. It is still trying to separate us from the rest of the Mad Community. It is still attempting to divide and conquer by driving disordered systems further into denial, and silencing the voices of those who don't see being a system as something inherently positive. Yes we can find hope and self-acceptance from discovering what we are, but being reductive about those experiences ignores how this disorder can be a living hell. The fact that you survived despite everything is something to celebrate; finding out your trauma has permanently broken your ability to function as a cohesive personality is not. Excluding endo "systems" from DID/OSDD spaces, and asserting our boundaries when it comes to interacting with us, is not comparable to bigotry. It is not ableist or sanist to do so; not when endo "systems" claim not to be mentally ill. And even if you claim your "disordered plurality" is from another mental illness or neurodivergence like autism - you are basically saying "I'm not like those freaks over there". Whether you mean it or not, you are throwing us under the bus. If you disagree with this, leave. Just fuck off. We've been triggered by mutuals and people we respected reblogging stupid bullshit three times in the past 24 hours, and we are not going to stand for a fourth. - Terry and Roy

Note
but like why r u anti endo
Because through the research we've done? we believe that plurality is something you can't experience without dissociative disorders /did, osdd, ect/ which is caused by severe trauma in early childhood. By pur understanding thats exactly what endos are not.
Though we have our own opinions on endos we don't want to go out and "hunt" people mainly because it'll loose everyone's time. We just don't want to interact with them, so we scroll through the anti endo tag to avoid coming across endo/pro endo accounts and it sucks when we still come across such content.

anyways, daily reminder that if you post syscourse in the main DID/OSDD community tags, you're annoying and entitled. nobody cares about your opinion on ~teh endos~ we're here to look for coping mechanisms, support, advice and healing. not bullshit discourse that's been going on for decades that nobody has agreed to a conclusion on.
your ~hot take~ is not new, it's not saying anything that hasn't been said before, and it's not saying it any more eloquently than anyone before you. your opinion on people who do not have DID/OSDD is not so important that you need to blast it to the entire DID/OSDD community.
syscourse is largely an online discourse. you are not going to be affected by syscourse in real life.
if you think your opinion on endos is so important you need to blast it to the entire DID/OSDD community, and concern so much of your existence as a person with DID/OSDD with a group of people who do not have your disorder and are largely not claiming to have your disorder, it might be time to do these newfangled things called "going outside and touching grass", or "reading a book", or even simply just "not concerning yourself with discourses that don't matter much outside of the internet".
i've known about my DID for just over 5 years now, and the best thing i ever did in regards to that is not investing a lot of emotional energy into syscourse because it does not fucking matter. spending time learning about trauma & dissociation and connecting to people with the same experiences as me has been far more rewarding than the time-killer of picking arguments on the internet.
p.s. if you're a harry potter fan in 2023, your opinion should already be automatically invalid in the first place because of the damage that jowling kowling rowling has done to the trans and jewish communities, considering she takes support for her work as support for her views explicitly. if you're a HP fan in 2023, i'm going to automatically assume you're a terf/radfem and antisemite. there will be no ifs, ands or buts about it, lol.
p.p.s. if you make a discourse post and crosstag it with the main community tags and block everyone that disagrees with you, it really shows that you only care about creating an echochamber and not starting an actual community discussion about these subjects, and does show that you made the post out of emotion more than anything else, because you're not wiling to listen to literally anyone who even remotely disagrees with or criticizes you, despite blasting your opinion into the eyeballs of as many people as you could think of. that's incredibly immature.

You know, as someone in an Endo system who discovered the whole Syscourse scene just a few months ago (and who wasn't even a part of the plural community before), it's really, really exhausting.
And I'm not even talking about people disagreeing with Endogenic systems existing or being critical of the community, but just the unwillingness to simply *talk* with each other.
DNI's can be genuinely helpful for those who want to cultivate their own community online and who don't want some people to interact with them to keep themselves comfortable. It's just when I see post after post with people throwing vitriol at others and then just shield themselves with a DNI... Or when I see somebody give some genuinely good examples of how some parts of the Endo community act in harmful ways and then just put an "Endo's DNI" there at the end. In part, I get that. I really do. But it also really stifles discussion (not talking about vents here, just to be clear).
I really just want to talk to people who disagree with me and people like me without worrying that I'll get posted somewhere and laughed at behind my back, or that I'll get hate asks and all. I want to be able to talk with different people and learn new things, and maybe let them know about things that they didn't know about before in turn. But wherever we go, there's always a DNI.
"An endo-friendly server that allows syscourse? DNI anti-endos. Oh, another server that allows syscourse? Cool, maybe we'll- DNI Endos."
There are no respectful places for honest debate. It's just echo chambers, where people either don't want to talk to the other side because they *don't* want to even hear their perspective, or are simply too scared of being hurt and/or bullied to be able to.
It's really exhausting.

All these pro-endos breaking our DNI. So very mature. Whether you agree or not you shouldn't be replying to posts that SPECIFICALLY say not to. :)
Fuck off, kiddos. I don't even read your asks.
