Gojo Satoru:
The smell of freshly brewed coffee was the only thing keeping your eyes open. You grumbled and cursed the sun for rising another day as you leaned over the kitchen counter, watching the magic bean juice filling your cup. The higher-ups must not like you because the mission they just sent you on was hell.
A week, a damn week, you were gone. A week from your bed, students, and your boyfriend. Stupid old men and their dumb missions. But who were you to complain if you paid your bills and you were able to teach the next generation of sorcerers? So life wasn't that bad.
Then again, your somewhat happy outlook on life might be the sleep deprivation talking.
The bastards were sweet enough to give you one day to recuperate. There was no time to relax, though. You had laundry to sort through, groceries to pick up, and the normal mundane things you'd missed out on during the WEEK you were gone!
A day off was a day off despite it being a busy one. You would get it all done after you drank this coffee Satoru got you from Mexico on his last mission. As soon as you downed it, you would off. You were already dressed to go. You had on sweats and a t-shirt, and you opted out of putting on any makeup, seeing that you would just be running around.
Your phone chimed as Satoru’s name popped up on your screen. You smiled as you opened the chat.
Satoru: Good morning, beautiful! 😙 Welcome back! I had breakfast delivered to you; enjoy! 🍳🥓🧇
“Oh, he's getting laid later.” You squealed, running for the door to your apartment.
You flung it open, staring at the ground, expecting a bag, but instead, you were greeted by shoes. Designer shoes that you knew all too well. Slowly trailing up dark uniform pants and jacket that was from the same school you worked at. Further up, you caught sight of a wide grin, a blindfold, and fluffy white hair. All of which belongs to your boyfriend, who was holding a takeout bag.
“Special delivery for Y/L/N Y/N!”
Your boyfriend was here. The same boyfriend who was utterly gorgeous no matter what condition he was in. The man could be caked in blood, and you still wanted to kiss him. Then there was you; you always put in the effort to look nice around him, hair styled, cute outfit, some form of makeup always on.
Today was not one of those days.
In a panic, you squeaked, slamming the door in his face. “What the fuck?! What the actual fuck!?” You glanced around for anything you could use to hide your appearance. You panicked and grabbed the first thing off the couch.
“Uhm, babe?” Satoru questioned, opening the door. “I know you were gone for a week. But I'm Gojo Satoru, your boyfriend.”
“I know!! Sorry, I wasn't expecting to see you!” you had your back turned to him, covering your face with your hands. “T-Thanks for the food! But I have so much to do!”
“Really?”
“Yep! Laundry!”
“I had Ijichi pick it up this morning.”
Fuuuuck.
“O-Okay! I have to get groceries!”
“Your fridge is fully stocked, courtesy of yours truly.”
The room felt like it was shrinking in on you as you listened to him come up behind you. The bag was discarded as his arms wrapped around you, pulling you into his chest. You weren't sure how he would react, seeing your bare face, and that was terrifying.
So many men thought women wearing makeup was like lying. You had always done very light and minimal makeup, but it didn't make it less scary. Sensing the tension, Satoru gently turned you around so you were facing him. He stiffened, his mouth turning from a grin to a shocked expression.
“Y/N?” His voice was so quiet.
“Y-Yeah?”
A choked laugh erupted from his throat. “I-Is that one of my blindfolded?!” He called as you stated at the darkness his blindfold provided. “Oh my god, hold on! Hold on!” You could feel him near you with the camera on his phone clicking. “Oh my god, wait until the second years see this!” Fingers hooked under the blindfold, yanking it up and off your head.
Your hands flew up, hiding your face. Your attempt was foiled as Satoru's gentle hands pulled them away. With a shuddering sigh, you looked up at him, biting your cheek as he fully saw you. For you, no makeup, fancy clothes, or styled hair.
Satoru just smiled, leaning down before he kissed your lips gently. “Welcome home.” He pulled back, tilting his head to the side. “What was with the off-brand cosplay?” Your cheeks are flushed, the darker pigment visible without any trace of makeup.
“I-I don't have any makeup on.”
“Oh!” He straightened, his large hand patting your head. “You're so cute.”
His grin grew wider at the confused expression inching its way over your face. “Seriously? Do you think that? Even without the makeup and the baggy clothes? You still think I'm cute?” Satoru’s head bobbed up and down so fast you thought his head would fall out. His sincere reaction made you giggle, shaking your head. “Satoru, you are so strange. But also extremely sweet.” When you looked up, you blinked, seeing Gojo holding up one side of his blindfold. His bright blue eye looked you over, inching over every curve and surface of you. “Satoru, stop staring.”
“I just was confirming something.” he snapped his blindfold back into place before draping an arm over you.
You poured yourself a cup of coffee while Satoru pulled your breakfast out of the bag. “Confirming what?”
“Just confirming with Six-Eyes that I have the prettiest girlfriend in the entire world.”
Gojo’s smile slowly faded as you slammed the coffee pot down. Oh fuck, what did he say?! You led around; fire swarmed in Y/E/C eyes as you stormed over to him, grabbing his wrist.
“W-What?! What did I say?” He huffed out a gasp as you shoved him onto the couch.
“Everything.”
You unzipped his pants, and Gojo’s eyes were wide behind his blindfold. Even with Six-Eyes, Gojo did not see this coming. Spoiler alert: It was him, he was going to cum.
Choso Kamo:
A knock at your door had you straightening from your spot on the couch. Looking at your phone, you quickly got up. It was well past midnight, and it was never a good sign when someone knocked that late at night on the door.
Much to your relief, when you opened the door to your apartment, your boyfriend looked down at you. “Choso?” a sigh of relief escaped your lips.
“I'm sorry. Did I wake you?” he asked before entering your apartment.
“No, I think you just saved me a stiff neck.” You yawned out before locking the door. “Did you and Yuuji finish up with that mission?”
“Yes, he went back home; I wanted to see you.”
Choso watched as you moved around the apartment. You straightened up the pillows on the couch and wiped down your kitchen before grabbing his hand and leading him to the bedroom. The entire time you went about your mundane tasks, Choso just stared. He couldn't put his finger on it, but something was different about you.
Choso’s eyes moved over you. Trying to depict what was different tonight. Haircut? No. New pajamas? No, that wasn't it, either. Everything Choso tried to think of wasn't the right answer. Not knowing what it was frustrated him to the point that Choso’s eyebrow twitched.
What had you glowing in the lowlights of your bedroom as you pulled the sheets back? “Cho?” You finally asked with a nervous chuckle. “Are you okay? You're staring holes through me.” Realizing that he had been caught, Choso flinched.
“I'm sorry, sorry I just—” Words trailed off as his cheeks flushed.
You had noticed Choso staring at you since he came inside. The poor guy never saw you without makeup, which was probably strange. He seemed to be struggling, trying to find the words to the mountain of questions he might have.
“It's okay. I think I know what you're going to ask.”
“Huh?”
“Yeah, you’re going to ask what’s different.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, I look different because I’m not wearing makeup.”
Choso tilted his head to the side.”Oh, no, I was going to say you look radiant tonight.” The words that left his mouth had both of you standing in silence.
You just eyed Choso as he smiled, nodding his head like he'd figured out the mystery of what was different. Pleased with his conclusion, he helped you pull the sheets back. His hands smoothed out the covers before he peered up at you. You were blushing, smiling ear to ear as you finished pulling the bed back.
“I just finished doing my skincare routine,” you announced as you crawled into bed after Choso showered. “I have a new serum that is supposed to make you look luminescent.”
Choso studied you carefully as he crawled into bed with you. “Mmm, maybe that’s it.” He pulled you into his arms. “Or maybe it’s just me.” Choso hummed, staring into the face that he loved so much. “Falling in love.” Love?! “Yeah, I think that’s exactly what this is.”
That was the reasoning behind your radiant glow. A glow that always surrounded you no matter what you wore or looked like. Choso saw utter perfection in you. So it only made sense that the reason you looked extra stunning was that he had fallen in love with you even more.
You just snuggled closer into his chest, grinning wide as he yawned. “I love you too, Cho.”
Ryomen Sukuna:
Ten minutes. All it took was ten minutes before chaos erupted in Sukuna’s apartment. He had just finished changing when he heard the commotion. Yuuji and Choso were bickering before you gently tried to break up the argument. The next thing he heard was a scream, your scream, to be exact.
He bolted, running into the kitchen, where he found you wiping at your face. “What the fuck?!” His younger brothers both stood in shock, watching you in fear. Yuuji was holding a box of baking soda, and Choso held a bottle of vinegar.
In the center of the kitchen was the volcano experiment you had been helping Yuuji make. Sukuna was able to put it all together in an instant. He didn't bother yelling. He instead lifted you into his arms, carrying you to the bathroom.
“What the hell happened?” You flinched when you felt a warm, wet rag gently cleaning your face off.
“The boys wanted to see how big of an explosion they could make. But you know the boys, they both were arguing about who should do what. Words were said, contents were thrown into a beaker, and I didn't have my safety goggles on.”
Sukuna sighed, continuing to rub off the mess on your face. “You're not hurt, are you?”
“Nope!” Your confident response had your boyfriend chuckling as he wiped more of the foamy goop off your face.
After about five minutes of wiping and rinsing the rag, Sukuna sat on the tub's edge, examining your face. It was without the small amount of makeup you had on and the lighting of the bathroom that he stared at you. You were stunning, gorgeous in everything. But here in the bathroom, his eyes mapped out your face.
“What happened here?” he asked, fingertips pressing against a small scar under your eye.
Thinking it was food coloring, you turned to the mirror, seeing your bare face. “EH?!” You touched it, groaning as you looked back at your boyfriend, who was smirking. “You wiped off all my makeup!” For a second, Sukuna thought he was dealing with a third child in his apartment.
“Oh, I'm sorry. Did you want to have vinegar on your face?” You shook your head. “That's what I thought. So confess what happened there?”
“Acne scar.”
A soft him rumbled in his chest before he learned over, thumb grazing over a tiny scar at the bottom of your lip. “This?” gentle fingers moved up, brushing over your bottom lip as he stepped closer towards you.
“I-I fell off my bike.”
You swallowed hard, whimpering as Sukuna’s fingers grazed over your face. You were feeling how soft your delicate skin was. All of you mesmerized him. Every time you came over, he learned a little more about you. And god, he fuckin’ loved that.
His hands gently mapped your face out. The softness had you breathing heavily, his eyes glued to your lips. Having your boyfriend gaze over you with such a soft yet burning gaze had you shifting. The air in the bathroom became thick with need as he slowly slipped your tank top sleeve down.
“Y/N, let me see all of you. I want to map out your body and learn everything it has to say.”
“W-What’s gotten into you?”
The whisper tone of your voice had Sukuna sliding the other sleeve of your tank top down. “You. You’ve crept your way into my heart.” The confession that spilled from his lips has you leaning in, wanting him to touch you everywhere. The same way he had touched your face.
“Hey, is she okay?” Choso’s timid voice whispered through the door. “Yuuji’s worried.”
“Take Yuuji out for ice cream.” Your tank top is slowly pulled over your head. “My card is on my dresser.”
Silence spreads out as you tug Sukuna’s shirt up and off. “R-Really?” hands began working on jeans.
“Yes, I have my own project to work on.” Sukuna turned the shower on, and he never heard Choso collecting Yuuji so fast. Refusing to answer any questions as the door to the apartment slammed shut.
Sukuna’s antics had you giggling, licking your lip, and he stripped you completely. “A project, huh?” he nodded, following you into the shower.
“Yeah, but it won't be vinegar foam that covers that pretty face this time.”
Nanami Kento:
The hotel sheets were cold and crisp over your and your boyfriend's bodies. Between the chill and the heat Nanami was putting out, you felt so comfortable. It was the perfect combination that made you want to relish the feeling forever.
The sun was up, which meant you both would be going home soon. You both had been called out on a mission, one that took a bit longer to handle than you both were anticipating. You missed the last train back to Tokyo. Leaving you both stranded in Kawasaki for the night.
Instead of having one of the assistant supervisors drive all the way out to get you, you and Nanami decided to stay at a hotel. God, it was nice: room service, wine, a hot shower. Missing that last train was a reward for the two of you. Nothing more than relaxation and joy. But the moment Nanami pulled you tighter against him, you realized you didn't have your overnight bag.
Meaning you didn't have your makeup.
“Oh no, oh god no.” You whined as Nanami lifted his head.
“What’s wrong?” His groggy voice asked, trying to assess what was going on.
Burying your face in your pillow, you grumbled, cringing as you felt Nanami shift beside you. “I don't have my bag.” The covers move as Nanami props himself up.
“Your overnight bag?”
“Mhmm.”
Silence stretched out. “Did you need something out of it? Aspirin or tampons? I'll go grab you some.” The sincerity of his words made your heart soar. God, Nanami was the best boyfriend.
“No, no, I'm okay.” You shyly turned, swallowing hard. “I just realized you've never seen me without makeup.”
Nanami’s gaze was soft; honey-brown eyes slowly roamed over your face. He took his time, his hand reaching out, knuckles grazing your cheek. It was so gentle and sweet that you pressed yourself against his hand. The warmth spreads to every part of your body.
The bed shifts as Nanami’s hand cups your cheek, pulling you closer. “You are still as stunning in the morning bare-faced as you are all dolled up.” Before you could even think of what to say in response, his lips were on yours.
His lips were warm, like a spring day. You moaned happily, kissing him back as his hands slowly ran down your arms. Breaking the kiss, had you pouting with a displeased groan that shifted into a moan. Those warm lips slowly moved down your face. Nanami was trailing the softest, warmest kisses down your body, over your shoulders and upper arm.
“I want to see all of you.” Hot breath whispered over your skin. “See every part of you, body, mind, and soul in the raw.”
Soft kisses were replaced with gentle nips. The sensation had you arching your back as Nana crawled on top of you. His morning wood was pressing against your hip. It felt like you were melting into the mattress as the once-comfortable room suddenly became too warm. The need to get naked grew stronger and stronger.
“Kento~”
He didn't respond. He was too busy being love-drunk off of you. His fingers, lips, and teeth slowly mapped out every part of your body. Nanami’s actions left you a squirming mess underneath him. One that he was so pleased to see and feel.
Only once you were gasping for air, gripping his shirt, begging him for more, did Nanami finally pull back, taking his shirt off. “Every inch of you is the most beautiful thing that's graced this world, Y/N.” You sat up, pulling him into a starved kiss as he took your shorts off. Limbs entangling as he gently laid you down.
And yes, you missed the morning train. . .and the afternoon train. . .poor Ijichi had to pick you up.

MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
Your plan was simple: sneak in, grab the baby kaiju, and get out. But things rarely went according to plan.
Let’s begin where it all started—that damn spider.
Long story short, your parents were scientists doing experiments on radioactive spiders. You help in their lab and one day, an earthquake enormous kaiju shook the city, causing a containment breach. The next thing you know, a particularly aggressive spider bit your hand.
Of course, you gained extraordinary abilities. Others would’ve loved this and used them for good—be like Ultraman or whatever. But to you, it’s more like a curse. Seriously, you didn’t ask for this so ain’t no way were you going to become a selfless heroine.
So you did nothing with your abilities; you didn’t hone it whatsoever. You looked at it as if it’s just another arm that grew out of your body. Like grabbing a bag of chips from across the room, you’d shoot spider webs out to get it without standing.
Despite living your life as privately as you could, somehow, the Kaiju Defense Force was still able to find you. So here you are now, in their headquarters.
You stood there, arms crossed. “I’ve told you before, Dr. Onda,” you said. “I’m not looking to be a hero. I just want to be left alone.”
Dr. Onda, chief officer of the KDF, and old acquaintance of your parents, leaned forward. “I know. But this isn’t about heroism,” he replied. “This is a highly sensitive mission and you’re the only one who can pull it off.”
"And why should I care?" you replied coolly. "What's in it for me?"
"Payment, of course. A substantial one. Enough to ensure you can continue living the peaceful life you desire without any further interference from us,” Dr. Onda answered.
“And more importantly, it's a one-time deal. Complete this mission, and you'll never hear from the KDF again."
Your face expressed a guarded neutrality but inside, you found it so tempting—the promise of financial security and freedom from future obligations.
“What’s the job?” you asked, narrowing your eyes.
Dr. Onda tapped a few keys on his desk console, and a holographic image of a baby kaiju appeared, rotating slowly.
“It’s an entity of importance for the goals of KDF to be fulfilled,” he said. “Recently, it fell into the hands of Kenji Sato. We need you to retrieve it and bring it back to us.”
You studied the hologram, noting the details. "And how exactly am I supposed to move a 20-foot-tall kaiju baby without causing a scene?"
Dr. Onda leaned back, a small smile playing on his lips. "We have a special containment unit designed specifically for it. It's portable and can be deployed with your help. Your task is to get close enough to activate it and secure the kaiju.”
"And the payment?" you pressed.
Dr. Onda named a figure that made your eyes widen slightly. It was more than enough to ensure your financial independence for years to come.
"Alright," you said finally. "I'll do it. But remember, this is a one-time deal. After this, I want nothing more to do with the KDF."
Dr. Onda smiled, “You have my word."
You turned to leave but paused at the door, and glanced back. "I hope you're right about this, Dr. Onda,” you said. “Because if this goes sideways, I won't be the one paying the price."
Going back to the present—here you are, in Kenji Sato’s basement, trapped in a cylindrical glass containment unit, similar to the one the baby kaiju you were supposed to retrieve was held in.
A floating spherical robot circled around you. “We knew they would send someone,” it said in a mechanically feminine voice.
Suddenly, it projected a red light over your body, scanning you. “But I didn’t expect a spider-woman.”
You pressed your hands against the glass, testing its strength. "Nice trap," you said. “But it's going to take more than that to keep me here."
“I wouldn’t be so sure about that,” a voice came out of nowhere. Turning around, you see THE Kenji Sato with an eyebrow raised and his gaze locked with yours.
The biggest mystery that bothered you upon accepting this mission was how the hell did this famous baseball star had a giant baby in his basement.
You leaned back, crossing your arms over your chest. "So, what's the plan, Kenji? Keep me here forever?” you asked. “Or do you have something else in mind?"
Kenji smirked. "Depends. Why are you here?"
"Why do you think?" you replied, your tone flirtatious. "I was sent to retrieve that kaiju baby. But now, it seems I've found something else worth my attention."
Kenji's eyes narrowed slightly, "And what might that be?"
You gave him a slow, knowing smile. "You, of course,” you answered. “You're much more interesting than a simple retrieval mission."
Kenji chuckled, though he tried to hide it. "Flirting isn't going to get you out of there."
"Maybe not," you conceded, stepping closer to the glass, "But it does make this whole situation a lot more entertaining, don't you think?"
Kenji took a step closer, his eyes studying you. "You're not what I expected."
You tilted your head, your smile widening. "Good. I'd hate to be predictable."
There was a moment of silence as the two of you sized each other up. Finally, Kenji spoke. "You know, if you weren't here to take Emi, we might have been able to get along."
"Oh, I think we still can," you said, your voice low and seductive. "Besides, I never said I was strictly here for Emi."
Kenji looked at you, his expression softening just a fraction. "And what if I let you out?"
You pressed yourself against the glass, your eyes locked on his. "Then maybe, just maybe, we can help each other."
Kenji pondered this for a moment before shaking his head. "Nice try,” he said. “But I need to know more about you before I make that decision."
"Fair enough," you replied, leaning back once more. "But remember, Kenji, sometimes the spider catches more than just her prey."
Kenji turned away, a small smile playing on his lips. "We'll see about that."
You didn’t wanna include this in your escape plan because things rarely went according to plan. But in your mind, you noted: flirt, make him fall for you, and escape.
Taglist is open! Comment if u wanna be tagged on future Kenji oneshots

Hi! Would love an angsty fic with Az, where you’re his mate but never spoke up about it because he wanted Elain. So you are just sarcastic and snarky all the time to him so you don’t let yourself get attached. One day you both get sent on a mission together and end up trapped in a room with no way out and the oxygen levels going down. Very angst, probably with some comfort. Ending is up to you!
"Confessions"
Azriel x Reader

Warnings: language, angst, fluff

Enjoy!
"So, you think we will find anything? Or is this just another waste of time?" You didn't bother to keep the bite out of your voice. You were tired, hungry, and cold, and you didn't want to look at the beautiful face of the shadowsinger any longer.
Azriel's dark brows shot up in surprise at your words. "Waste of time? Is that what you think this is?"
You looked up at the cave above where you and Az were hiding in the shadows behind a large rock. The cave was painted in strange runes that leaked with dark magic, the kind that nobody in Prythian had any business dabbling in. The cave was dark, save for the few torches that burned along the walls.
You sighed as you leaned against the damp wall of the cave, the cold cutting right through your leathers. "Yes. We've been searching for these rebels for months, all to no avail. I doubt tonight will be any different."
You and Az had been tasked to search for Illyrian rebels who had been less than happy about all of the deaths during the war with Hybern. They had been growing in numbers over the last few months, and they had already raided and burned down some of the Illyrian camps. They were ruthless and volatile, and many of the camplords had locked down their war camps, preventing anyone from entering or leaving. Curfews had been established, women and children were learning how to fight to defend themselves, and the warriors had started to create their own fighting legions within the camps.
The Illyrians were on the brink of a civil war. The Court of Dreams would no doubt be at the center of it. And it didn't help that Az had gained intelligence saying that the rebels had started using ancient and dark magic to further their agenda.
No, this mission wasn't a waste of time, but you would say anything to get Azriel off your fucking back. This male... He was so annoyingly perfect and handsome, so smart and intelligent... You wished you could hate him. You had tried to hate him, to push yourself away using sarcasm and rude comments.
But it was impossible to stay away, to hate him, especially since he was your mate. The bond had snapped a few years ago, right before the Archeron sisters had joined the Inner Circle. You had wanted to tell him, and you almost did, but you got scared once you realized the truth could ruin your friendship with Az.
So you held back, waiting for the right time. The right time never came, especially once you saw how smitten he was with Elain. You didn't miss those longing looks between them, or the way their scents changed when they were in the room together. It didn't matter that Elain had her own mate, whom she seemed intent on ignoring.
You couldn't blame the female. Azriel was the most beautiful male you had ever seen, and Elain wasn't the first female you had seen run to him, craving his attention and affection. You had never minded his lovers, as you had seen the way he had looked at them. He cared about them, of course, but he had always made it clear to them that they meant nothing to him romantically.
But every time he looked at Elain, you felt a knife stab through your heart. Az had never looked at a female that way, not even Mor. You would do anything for him to look at you that way, but instead, you had resorted to an acid tongue and cold looks.
Azriel's wings rustled, his shadows swirling as they hid the two of you from anyone who could be in the cave. "What's up with the attitude? You've been on edge all night," he snapped, his voice low.
You had been on edge for the last two years, ever since Elain had entered the picture, but you didn't point that out. "What's up with your attitude? You normally put up with mine so well."
Azriel rolled his eyes. "I just want to get back home safely, and that will be very difficult if you keep complaining instead of focusing on what we need to do here," he growled, his eyes glowing in the shadows.
Try as you might, you couldn't stop the words that spilled from your mouth. "You just want to get home so you can see sweet little Elain."
Az went still, his body rigid with what you assumed was anger. "What the fuck are you talking about?"
You opened your mouth to respond, the words you had been holding back for so long threatening to spill out. Why don't you want me? Am I not good enough for you? But before you could say anything, voices from the other end of the cave echoed along the walls. They were too far away to make out, the words swallowed up by the darkness.
"We will finish that discussion later," Azriel snarled quietly. "For now, let's finish this."
You took a breath, your mind numb as you realized what you had said. You had never brought up Elain to him, and now you worried that whatever fine thread your friendship had been attached to these past few years was now cut. "Alright," you murmured quietly, your heart racing in your chest. "What do we do?"
Azriel looked toward the end of the cave. "We follow the voices." He placed a hand on your arm, his grip tight. "Stay close to me. And do not make a sound."
Despite yourself, you let out a laugh. "This isn't my first time doing something like this, Azriel. Give me some credit."
"Whatever," Azriel grumbled before taking a step forward, his shadows still providing cover as he moved from behind the rock.
You silently followed, your eyes on his back as the two of you moved through the cave. The deeper you went, the darker it got. The smell was atrocious, full of rot and something dark that made it hard to breathe. You fought the urge to gag as your eyes looked at the walls. There were more runes here, carved in red paint.
Or maybe it was blood. You shuddered at the thought.
"This way," Azriel murmured quietly, his voice blending into the shadows. He veered left, leading you down a dank hallway. It ended in a room of some sort, the walls seeping with moisture. The room felt... wrong. Something here was off, and you didn't want to stick around and figure out what it was.
You walked into the center of the room, your boots crunching on something on the ground. You didn't look down, too afraid that you would see bones or something below your feet. "It's a dead-end," you whispered. "I think we need to go back." The hair on your neck tingled, your mind screaming at you to run.
Azriel took a step forward, and below his boots, there was crunching. No, it was a clicking noise. Click. Click. Click.
The walls lit up with those same runes from earlier, but this time they were glowing red. The air from the room seemed to be sucked out in a vacuum as the walls started to shake.
"Azriel!" you screamed, not caring if anyone heard you. You sprinted toward him, your voice breathless as you said, "We need to go. Now!"
Azriel turned on his heel, dragging you with him as he bolted for the door that led into the hallway. The runes were glowing so brightly it was almost blinding, and you squinted against the light, your eyes locked on Az's wings as he ran.
"Shit," Azriel barked as he slammed into an invisible wall blocking the doorway. He slammed his body into it a few times, his face scrunched up in fury and rage as he threw all of his weight into his movements.
You rushed to his side, your fists banging against the invisible wall. It felt like glass, but no matter how much the two of you hit it, there were no cracks or signs of it breaking.
"Don't tell me we're stuck in here," you gasped, sweat pouring down your face. You looked around the room, distantly noticing that the runes had stopped glowing. "We can't be stuck. This isn't happening."
Azriel was still staring at the doorway. "It's a trap," he murmured, mostly to himself. "I've never seen anything like this before." His eyes wandered to the now-dull runes on the wall. "Whatever magic they are using... it triggered this."
You took a breath, your chest tight. Why was it so hard to breathe? "Call for Rhys," you gasped. "Cassian. Feyre. Anyone."
Azriel shook his head. "Don't you think I've tried? This magic is dark, and it's blocking any magic I have." He looked at his shadows. They were almost translucent, their normally dark tendrils fading away. "Even my shadows are rendered useless."
"Oh, fuck," you cried, your chest moving rapidly. Your mind was foggy, and your heart was racing. You put a hand on your chest as a wave of dizziness hit you. "I can't breathe, Az. I can't fucking breathe."
Azriel darted forward, his strong hands catching you as your knees gave out. "Hey, hey," he murmured. "I need you to stay calm, alright? Now is not the time to have a panic attack, love."
Your ears were ringing so loudly that his words were muffled, but you didn't miss the fact that he called you 'love.' You smiled up at him, your vision blurry. "Do you remember what it felt like when the runes glowed? The air being sucked out?"
Azriel nodded, inky black strands of hair falling across his brow. "Y-yes," he stammered, his eyes full of worry. His chest was now too rising and falling at a rapid speed, his mouth opening and closing as he gasped for air. "What- what is happening?"
"Room is enchanted," you said between rapid breaths. "Oxygen is being taken out."
Azriel's hands were still gripping you tightly. "We have to get out of here," he said, his normally steady presence now filled with anxiety. "We can't die. Not like this. Not like this." He released your arms and stood, his eyes moving around the room, looking for an exit.
Your vision was starting to blur, dark spots dancing at the edges. Each breath was harder than the last, your lungs burning as they searched for the air that wasn't there. You could barely make out Azriel's hulking form as he walked around the room, looking like the shadows that normally surrounded his body.
But as the severity of the situation pressed in, something else surfaced in your mind- something you hadn't been ready to confront until now.
You were his mate, and he didn't know. Perhaps now, in these last moments, you should tell him. He had been wanting a mate for so long. He deserved to know.
The fear of rejection was nothing compared to the fear of dying, you realized. You didn't care if he wanted Elain. You didn't care if he didn't reciprocate your feelings. You wouldn't be alive long enough for it to matter, anyway.
"Azriel," you rasped, your hand reaching out to him. His gaze snapped to yours, concern deepening as he saw the panic in your eyes.
"Stay with me," he urged, his voice strained as he struggled to breath. "We'll find a way out. I swear it."
You didn't care about that, not now. Not with the air slipping away from you both like water through your fingers. "No, Az," you gasped, fighting for every word. "There's something I need to tell you."
"Don't talk," he said, his wings twitching as he moved toward you. He knelt down and ran a gentle hand across your sweaty brow. "We can't waste air."
You shook your head, even as the edges of your vision began to close in. "No. I have to say this." He looked at you, then, his gaze serious. "I'm your mate, Azriel."
Azriel's eyes widened, and for a moment, the world seemed to be still, even as the walls around continued to steal the air from your lungs. He opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out. His face, usually so calm, was a mask of shock, confusion, and something you couldn't place- something that looked like fear.
"I know you want Elain," you whispered as your eyes began to close, your body weakening. "You have to get out of here, Az. Go be happy with her." You paused for a moment, your lungs burning. "I just wanted you to know, before I die."
Before he could respond, the room pulsed. You both shuddered as the walls groaned, the final reserves of oxygen slipping away faster now. You could see the panic in his eyes as he reached for you, pulling you closer, as if holding you would keep you alive.
"Azriel," you whispered again. You could feel your body shutting down, your vision going dark. "I'm sorry... I didn't tell you sooner. Forgive me."
For a long moment, he said nothing, his breath coming in shallow gasps. His eyes softened as the fear and desperation melted away, replaced by gentleness. He cupped your cheek, his thumb brushing gently over your cheek.
"You're... you're my mate?" Azriel's voice was barely a whisper, and you barely heard him over the ringing in your ears.
You nodded, blinking through the dizziness. "Yes," you breathed out. "I didn't want to tell you like this, but... it's true."
Something shifted in Azriel's demeanor, and he leaned in, resting his forehead against yours, his breath hot and shaky against your skin. "I've waited my whole life for you. I don't want Elain. I never did. I've wanted you for so long, but I thought you didn't want me like that, so I never said anything." You wanted to laugh at his words. How could the two of you be so stupid and blind?
He continued on, his breathing rapid, "And I'm not losing you. Not here. Not now."
Suddenly, the room pulsed, but this time it was different- something in the bond between you two reacted. Azriel's shadows, which had been futile before, swirled around his shoulders, wrapping around the room's edges, searching out a weakness in the magic.
With a loud groan, the door creaked open, and the trap began to weaken. You and Az gasped as fresh air started to slowly filter back into the room.
"How?" you rasped, sitting up on your elbows. "How did this happen?"
Azriel grinned, and that dimple that you loved so much made an appearance. "Dark magic is strong," he said, his voice low, "but it is no match for true love. The bond of true love can break even the strongest of dark spells."
You chuckled as you leaned into him, savoring the warmth and strength of his body. "I love you. Gods, I love you, Azriel." The confession made the tightness in your chest loosen.
Azriel kissed the top of your head softly, his arms tightening around you. "I love you too, angel," he whispered, his voice filled with a tenderness that made your heart swell. "Just know, I'm never letting you go."
And with that, the room was still, the air fresh and cool, your bodies and hearts slowly coming back to life. Together.

Put a Shirt On, Kim Mingyu
Tumblr media
Pairings: FuckBoy!Mingyu x afab!reader Summary: Your fwb Mingyu sent you a message and you can't ignore it Genre: College AU, Smut, Minors DNI Warnings: Protected sex - use of a condom, reader is a little mean and a little selfish Word count: ~1.9k
Author’s Note: Happy New Year! I saw this photo and I had an idea (I mean who didn't look at this photo and have ideas 😈) This was fun and something new, we always talk about taking clothes off this man but when do we ever put them back on??? And so it escalated from there.
I hope you enjoy as always ^_^
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧・゚
*1 new message*
You reach over to your nightstand to check the message.
It is an image of Mingyu, your fuck buddy. It is cropped so you can only see his bare shoulders in the mirror selfie. You up? The caption says.
You roll your eyes. As much as you like hooking up with Mingyu, sometimes he could be a complete douchebag. This was why you were only fuck buddies and you hadn’t taken the relationship any further. Sometimes you thought he could be the kind of guy you wouldn’t be embarrassed to bring home to your family, other times he did shit like this.
No, put a shirt on and go to bed. You reply. Refusing to look at the image he had sent. He had annoyed you by saying something dumb the previous day so you were not going to appease him by coming over right now.
A few minutes go by and there’s no response, usually Mingyu would take the bait and keep up the banter but there was nothing. So you take another peek at the photo.
It was slightly blurry and he had cropped it in such a way that you couldn’t help but wonder what he was doing with his other hand…you had a rule with him - no dick pics. But that didn’t mean he didn’t send you ones implying his dick was out.
For example, in this image, you could imagine him just standing there, naked in front of the mirror, holding his cock proudly. What an asshole.
But still, you couldn’t help but linger on the photo. Picturing the muscles he’d concealed from the photo, how large his arms were and the feel of them as they were tensed as he fucked you senseless. His large body encompassed you completely as he provided you with numerous orgasms.
Great, now you were horny. You hadn’t even been thinking about Mingyu since he pissed you off. But he knew exactly what he was doing sending you a photo like this.
You put the phone down. Determined not to give in and take matters into your own hands.
Settling into your bed, and pulling out your favourite vibrator, you are ready to begin but a new text flashes up on your phone from Mingyu and makes you curious.
Make me.
Make me. As if those words ever lead to anything but badness.
You put away your toy and reached for some sweatpants, it was time to pay Mingyu a visit.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧・゚
“Y/N, what a surprise,” Mingyu said when he opened the door, a shit-eating grin on his face.
“Shut up,” you respond, pushing your way into his dorm room and heading towards his drawers.
“You know that’s not where I keep the condoms.” He says casually, closing the door.
“I know,” you open the first drawer and pick out a t-shirt. “Sit down.”
Mingyu is confused but he sits on the edge of his bed anyway, enjoying the bossy tone you were using.
You close the drawer and turn to finally take in the sight of him. He was still shirtless, wearing a pair of boxers, presumably thrown on to have a little modesty while opening the door. You let your eyes soak in the view that his cropped photo denied you, if only because you were about to cover it up.
“What game are we playing today?” he asks as you walk over and straddle his lap.
“It’s not a game,” you say, grinding your core down against the bulge in his boxers as you scrunch the shirt up in your hands, “you said to make you put a shirt on, so I am. Put your arms up.”
Mingyu lets out a laugh but does what he’s told. You hadn’t really considered the logistics of this, as when Mingyu raised his arms, it was slightly out of your reach to put the shirt on. But you weren’t going to give up.
You raised yourself up, purposely brushing your whole body against Mingyu’s as your fingertips brushed against his wrists trying to get the t shirt over his hands.
Seeing your struggle, Mingyu lowers his arms a little, allowing you the reach to pull the t shirt down over his arms, you move down his body slowly, stopping to make sure the shirt goes over his head before bringing the rest of the material down over his torso.
“There,” you say when you’re finished.
“Happy?” There’s a small smile playing on his lips.
“Yes,” You shift your hips towards him, his cock pulsing against your core.
“I’m sure you could be happier,” his hands reach for your hips to grind you down against his length again.
You let out an involuntary moan before taking Mingyu’s hands from your hips and placing them on the bed. “Don’t touch me, I’m still annoyed at you.”
“I know, but you came over, so you can’t be that annoyed right?”
“Maybe I’m just horny,”
“Join the club,”
You both sit staring at each other for a few seconds, it wouldn’t be the first time you had taken your frustrations out using Mingyu. But this would be the first time you would be using him to work out the frustration you had against him. And you didn’t think he deserved the pleasure.
“Take your boxers off,” you stand up heading to his bedside drawer to grab a condom.
You return to stand in front of Mingyu and he has done as you asked. He’s still sitting on the edge of the bed, leaning back on his hands, his cock standing proud against his clothed stomach.
You open the condom and roll it over his cock. “Wipe that smile off your face,” you say as you straighten to pull your bottoms off. “This is for me,”
“Sorry,” he replies trying to keep his face neutral, but he was enjoying your bossy side a lot. You usually didn’t complain too much when he took charge of your hookups, in fact, you preferred it because you didn’t have to think too much. The only time you were vocal is when Mingyu was first learning the best way to make you cum, but he was a fast learner.
“And if you cum before me,” you moan as you sink down onto his cock. “I won’t speak to you for two weeks. And that’s no fun for anyone.”
“It’s not,” he agrees, breathing heavily as you begin to ride him. “If I’m good will you forgive me?”
“We’ll see,” you use Mingyu’s shoulders to keep yourself stable as you move your hips in a steady rhythm, making sure the tip of his cock hits your favourite spot every time.
Mingyu does as he’s told and doesn’t interact, he just watches as you take your pleasure from him, trying not to think too hard about how hot you look and how the sensation of your walls clenching around him is driving him crazy. He loved when you were on top, taking charge with your tits bouncing in his face. It’s a shame he couldn’t see them in their full glory, as you had opted to keep your shirt on, but that was probably helping him in his quest to keep it together until you got your release.
It doesn’t take long before you feel your orgasm building, you reach down to stimulate your clit, your other hand digging into Mingyu’s shoulder as the pressure builds. You had never left a mark on him before, that was one of his rules but this time you think you might have pierced his skin through the material of his shirt, but you didn’t care.
“F-fuck Gyu, your cock always feels so good,” you whine as you get closer to the edge, looking down at him. His body tenses as he tries to hold off his own orgasm, the material of his shirt stretched to its limits due to his ridiculous size.
“You’re driving me crazy,” he sighs, closing his eyes, as you bounce faster on his lap.
“Look at me,” you demand, “watch me cum.”
Reluctantly, Mingyu reopens his eyes. His hips involuntarily bucking into you and sending you over the edge. You moan out his name as you cum, one hand still rubbing your clit as you ride out your high. The stimulation and the sight of you proving to be too much, Mingyu cums too, he curses under his breath as his cock pulses within your walls.
Neither of you say anything as you wait for your breathing to return to normal, Mingyu lies flat on his back and you rest your hands on his chest, enjoying the feel of his muscles rising and falling as he breathes. Part of you wants to lay on top of him because his torso always looks so inviting but it would be too intimate so you stay upright.
“Is all forgiven?” Mingyu asks as he sits up, removing the condom after you stand.
“I guess so,” you reach for your discarded clothes. Turns out that taking your frustration out on Mingyu was just what you needed. And you couldn't be sure, but you think he liked that you were a little mean to him.
“So you’ll come over tomorrow night?” He had a wicked grin on his face that caused your stomach to flip.
“No, I don’t think you deserve that.” You say turning your back to him and reaching for the door. Trying to stay composed before you ended up staying longer.
“I'll come to you then,”
You roll your eyes. “I think you've done enough coming recently don't you?”
“It was still after you!”
You laugh despite yourself, “That's true you did hold off. Proud of you.”
“Thanks, it was tough. Ya know, you're really hot when you're mean.”
“Aww does baby have a kink?” You had turned around again and were leaning against the door.
“Shut up,” Mingyu blushes and comes to stand next to you. “I thought we didn't kink shame.”
“And I thought you liked it when I was mean,”
“Touché,” he leans down to kiss you on the cheek. That was another rule, you didn't kiss on the lips. It was silly but somehow it helped you remind yourself that Mingyu wasn't your boyfriend. Yet when he kissed you on the cheek it was the most intimate gesture in the world. “Thanks for coming over,”
“It's not like I wanted to. But you know I can't ignore a challenge.”
“Hmm I don't know seemed like you really wanted it.” He smiled.
“Whatever,” you push him away so you can open the door. It was late and you wanted to go to sleep. “I'll text you?”
“Sounds good,”
“Also if you ever send me another photo like that again I will have to block you. It's full torso or fully clothed. Got it?”
“Got it,”
It’s only a minute later when you get another photo through from Mingyu. This time, it’s a photo of his chest, still covered by the t shirt you had just put on him. My new favourite shirt. He captioned the photo.
You rolled your eyes before leaving him on read. It was taking all your strength not to go back there and get him to wipe the smug grin off his face and rip his shirt while you were at it. But maybe you could revisit the idea when he inevitably came over tomorrow night…

IN ANOTHER LIFE, YOU’D BE THE ONE.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
assigning enhypen sad tropes / endings
PAIRING enhypen x gn!reader GENRE angst, some fluff? WARNINGS some r not portrayed in a good light (bc of the trope ideas) WORD COUNT varies from 0.3-0.7K+ per
DISCLAIMER these are just random tropes that i think suits them, however, this is not a true depiction of how enhypen truly acts in real life. this is simply just fictional.
‘ 💬 ’ hanniluvi cb? HAHA sorry for disappearing on you guys, but i just finished finals & school is ending soon !!! so yk what that means 😊! slowly making my way back 2 writing 🫡 this was def made randomly and somehow i was committed to it so here you guys go!!
Tumblr media
HEESEUNG — HE FAILED THE SECOND TIME.
i don’t really have an explanation to this, i just think he suits this kind of trope? like he truly loves you to the point where he’s willing to give another shot into the relationship. but when trying again, he realizes the problem but was too late to fix it once more.
You wouldn’t have expected either, but the buzz coming from your phone would be a text message from Heeseung. Shock and adrenaline rushed within your body as he was the first to break the “no contact” rule after your break up.
Without a second thought, you found yourself propped up against your bed frame, texting him instead of sleeping. It was going well, until the text messages started becoming more flirtatious.
Even so, it felt different. It felt like you two were finally ready to try again. When he arrived at your doorstep with flowers and a sign asking, "CAN I BE YOUR BOYFRIEND?", you found no reason to decline.
Texts? He sent you thoughtful good morning and good night messages regularly.
Dates? He always paid attention to your preferences, leading to more spontaneous dates than anticipated.
Gifts? He surprised you with "just because" gifts, often accompanied by adorable notes.
Perhaps it seemed too perfect, but you were too in love to see any warning signs. His initial initiative in reaching out first felt like destiny. However, those blissful three to four months soon dissolved into nothing.
Texts? His responses come much later, and those sweet good morning and good night messages? Few and far between.
Dates? You're the one initiating them, and they lack the genuine spark they once had.
Gifts? It's only you who's putting in the effort, mirroring the gestures he used to make.
You've noticed he's slipping back into old patterns. Heeseung is consumed by his own schedule, neglecting those around him. Attempts to communicate often circle back to his work, leaving no room to discuss your relationship. He's too drained to prioritize you.
Perhaps you shouldn't have expected more or less, considering you already gave him another chance before.
You tried waiting, but with each passing day, you only disappointed yourself further.
So you gradually stopped texting, stopped putting in effort, stopped caring. And what came of it? Nothing.
Nothing until he randomly resurfaced with texts again.
People never change.
This time, without the previous excitement and nerves, you found yourself indifferent to even bother replying. Maybe your silence would speak volumes, considering he's accustomed to the silence he often gives you.
Maybe, you shouldn't have replied in the first place.
JAY — YOU FELL OUT OF LOVE, HE LOVED TOO HARD.
honestly, i see jay as a person who would absolutely do everything and anything for anyone. like this man would have no problem doing anything if it was meant to help anyone he loved. he just gives off the energy / whole idea of “so much love to give, gets not much in return.”
Since you started dating Jay, this guy has been nothing short of perfect to you. He constantly surprises you with flowers, insists on carrying everything for you, and showers you with compliments at every opportunity.
On the surface, it all seemed too good to be true. Despite having what many would consider the "perfect" boyfriend, you found yourself drifting away. Feelings slowly waned, and you began to distance yourself from the person who loved you the most.
Initially, you might not have noticed, but he did. As you began to give him less attention, show less reaction to his gestures, and the love in your eyes faded upon seeing him, he observed it all.
He witnessed you transform into someone unrecognizable. He recognized the signs of change, and perhaps he should have let go then. Yet, there remained a part of him that was reluctant to give up, still holding onto hope and the desire to keep trying.
Despite his earnest efforts to salvage the relationship, he couldn't escape the inevitable "Let’s break up" conversation. He hadn't realized how much his attempts to reignite your love were taking a toll on him until you made the decision to end things.
For months, he had maintained a facade of "everything will be okay," but now, faced with the reality of losing you, he began to crumble. He had invested so much time and energy into becoming a better person for someone he loved, only to realize that he was sacrificing himself in the process.
He couldn't blame you; he never would. He understood that you were falling out of love, and perhaps he should have let go sooner. But he couldn't shake the feelings he still harbored for you, even as they led to nothing but heartache.
Getting over you won't be as simple as he had hoped. He'll likely continue to blame himself, wondering what he could have done differently to be a better boyfriend for you.
But deep down, you know he did nothing wrong. He was a wonderful partner; it's just that you had fallen out of love, and sometimes, that's nobody's fault.
JAKE — RIGHT PERSON, WRONG TIME.
DUDEEEEE, you can’t tell me jake gives off the vibes of a person you’d always think about. no matter how much you try to forget him, you visually can’t get him out of your head. like you truly like this guy, but because of the time/fate, it lead you guys onto separate paths. this trope sounds cliche, but it’s the best way i can word it.
Jake embodied everything you sought in a partner. From his looks to his humor, and especially his personality, he checked all the boxes. Spending time with him felt like a whirlwind; the hours flew by when it was just the two of you.
Ever since he moved in next door, you found yourself drawn to him, intrigued by his every move. What began as subtle glances evolved into friendly greetings and eventually daily hangouts.
You never knew you could be this over the heels with someone until you met him. You found yourself looking forward to his daily texts and him sending silly videos that reminded him of you. You found yourself making silly trinkets and dropping them off in his mailbox. You found yourself with a pink envelope in your hand, walking to the park to give to him.
And as always, you saw that smile that always managed to brighten up your day. Sitting next to him on the swings, as you expected to be faced with another few hours of random talk with him, you’d be suddenly hit with the news of him having to move.
You didn't want to believe it.
You hoped he was joking, but instead, you were met with a disappointed look on his face. He seemed almost ashamed that this was happening, even though you knew it wasn't his fault.
You could imagine how badly he felt, so you kept your emotions in check and simply told him you would miss him. That night, you went home with tears staining the pink envelope you had intended to give him—a letter of your confession.
You had planned to give it to him that day, but instead, you saved it for his last day.
"Here," you said, pressing your lips into a thin line as you handed him the envelope.
"What is this?" he asked, curiosity piqued.
"A letter—but don't read it now!"
"Why not? You're tempting me," Jake replied, raising an eyebrow as he held the envelope with care.
"Well, don't listen to your temptations because—hey!" Before you could finish, he had already opened it, revealing its contents.
"This is embarrassing," you mumbled into your hands, feeling the heat rise to your face. Peeking through your fingers, you saw his eyes getting watery as he chuckled at parts of your letter.
When he finished reading, Jake looked at you and extended his arms. You immediately fell into his embrace, feeling his warmth surround you. Placing a hand on the back of your head, he whispered into your ear, "I'm sorry."
"For what?" your voice cracked, fearing that your confession would lead to nothing.
"I'm sorry this had to be this way," he said, clearing his throat and fighting back tears stirred by your emotional letter. "If it wasn't obvious enough, I like you too."
You felt a mix of relief and sadness. Despite your mutual feelings, fate was pulling you in different directions.
Before you could say another word, his family was already calling him to leave. Jake gave you one last squeeze and a look filled with fondness.
"I'll try to contact you often, okay, YN?"
"Okay," you replied.
As he waved goodbye with red eyes and that beautiful smile you loved, you saw him for the last time in person, feeling the weight of the moment settle in your heart.
SUNGHOON — JUST “FAKE DATING”.
do you see the vision that i’m visioning. like i don’t know, it just works out?? like i can see you two starting to fake date, it leads to something more (at least that’s what you think), and that all disappears, repeating once more. like it seems like he means it, but at the same time, his actions seem to prove otherwise. it’s like a constant cycle that you don’t want to or know how to get out of.
"I'm telling you, I don't think you should be doing this," your friend insisted, both online and in person. "Hanging with Sunghoon is only going to hurt you."
You never anticipated how your own choices might backfire. As a good friend, you just wanted to help Park Sunghoon make someone jealous. After all, with his pleading tone, how could you possibly say no?
If only you just believe his rule, "Don't fall in love with each other," this should be easy. You just needed to play the role—that’s all you had to do.
So, it started off slowly.
You two were together all the time, which was normal for you both. But whenever his ex came around, you could feel him inching closer, invading your personal space. It wasn’t much, but it felt rather intimate...though that was the plan.
Then it escalated. Sunghoon didn’t just act like a boyfriend in person and at school; he began behaving the same way outside of school and over text.
You spent more time together, going to places, laughing as you took pictures. He started showing up at your house unannounced, and the two of you would stay up late, binge-watching your favorite shows and having those nightly talks.
He even introduced you to his friends. Would someone go to such lengths for a fake relationship?
It just didn’t feel like pretending. You felt something there, something that couldn’t be easily explained.
You tried to brush it aside, but your feelings for him only grew. You were definitely falling for his stupid, swooning charms.
You hoped he was falling for you too.
But that sliver of hope crashed down when you saw him with the very person he had wanted to chase after.
They were smiling and holding hands. He looked so...happy.
After he gave them a final hug, he turned and met your gaze, your eyes slightly glistening.
"Thank you, YN," he said, with that stupid grin on his face—the one you had fallen for. Seeing it now only made your stomach twist painfully.
“Thank you? That’s….that’s it?”
“I’m sorry?” Sunghoon gave you a confused look. “Did you expect something more?”
“I would’ve loved an explanation.”
“What?”
You pressed your lips together, but your emotions were overflowing.
“Why would you treat me like that? I mean, why would you treat me so nicely? Why would you try so hard that it made me feel like we could’ve had something…real?”
“YN…”
"Just why, Sunghoon? If you knew this was only going to be a fake relationship, why did you create something special only for it to be discarded?"
"I'm sorry, YN. I never intended my gestures to be misleading, so I never purposefully planned that. I did enjoy our time together, but I have to end whatever we had because I now have the person I will always want."
Right.
No matter how hard you try, you can't change Sunghoon's mind.
You aren’t the person he wants.
After all, that was the whole point of his plan.
Don’t fall in love with each other.
SUNOO — YOU TWO DRIFTED APART.
i feel like with sunoo, since he has such an outgoing and bubbly demeanor, it allows him to easily connect with others. so with that idea in mind, why not because of his personality and him constantly being involved in new crowds, it causes him to have no time for you. without realizing it at first, he soon forgets about his priority: you.
You can't help but feel a whirlwind of emotions: confused, overwhelmed, sad.
Sunoo is a great guy, and you know that. But his bubbly personality seems to be interfering with your relationship.
At first, you were completely fine with it. He helped you meet new people, pushed you out of your comfort zone, and, most importantly, you saw him extremely happy. That’s all you really wanted.
But lately, you've noticed that he’s been paying less attention to you. Even when it's just the two of you, he often ends up calling someone or suddenly engaging in conversations with people around you.
You always had to make the plans, and his reactions seemed less genuine compared to when he was with others. Would it be wrong to think that you don’t matter to him anymore?
You always had to initiate conversations. Always.
Just like every other day, you were on the phone with Sunoo, the silence filling the room. No one was talking, and you could probably assume he was messaging someone else while on the phone with you.
Clearing your throat, you finally spoke. “Sunoo?” You didn’t know why you were nervous; he was your boyfriend, after all.
“Yes?”
“Um…” Your throat felt like it was closing up on you. You never wanted to seem pushy or insecure because of his behavior—you just wanted to feel special again, like you did at the beginning of the relationship. It should be easy to tell someone like him, right?
“Just tell me, YN.”
“Listen…” You hesitated before continuing. “Do you even… love me anymore?”
“Seriously? What kind of question is that? Of course I love you. Do I not show you that?”
“Well… no.” You bit your lip, hoping to get the closure you needed.
“I didn’t know you felt that way. I hope you know that you’re my—oh, YN. I’m sorry, I really have to go. I promised to hang out with Jungwon today. I’ll call you back, okay? Love you.”
You heard the other line beep, leaving you feeling empty. Removing the phone from your ear and dropping it in your lap, you looked at the calendar next to you. Today's date had a large red circle with little hearts doodled around the event “OUR ANNIVERSARY.”
He was hanging out with Jungwon instead of you. He forgot it. You stared at the hearts, feeling a knot form in your stomach. This day had meant so much to you, and now it felt like just another ordinary, lonely day.
His "I love you"s always reassured you—but now? They did nothing but make you feel worse.
He really doesn’t realize how much he’s hurting you, does he?
JUNGWON — THE CLASSIC SECOND LEAD.
okay okay, hear me out. i feel like jungwon suits the idea of a person liking someone, but too afraid to actually make a move. like he would want to keep people he like closely, but he would never do anything that seemed like it would lead to a fallout or anything more. so because of this, it leads to him watching you love someone else on the sidelines.
Jungwon has always been a nervous guy, and being in love only amplified his anxiety.
After spending so much time getting to know you, he realized he was falling—deeply. And he hated how it made him feel.
He hated how he would stutter when trying to make eye contact with you.
He hated how he took extra time to fix his hair.
He hated how he felt like a nervous wreck every time he initiated a hangout outside of school and work, praying you’d have the time.
But all those things he hated would soon fade away when he was with you. He began to appreciate himself for making the effort—it felt worth it.
Any moment with you felt special to him—enough for him to lay in bed and think about it all night.
He loved how you made him feel seen and understood, something he had not felt with anyone else.
If he were to date someone, he would want it to be you.
"Isn't he so dreamy?"
Hearing those words crushed his hopes of ever making you his.
He found himself sitting across from you, listening to you talk about this new guy, feeling a knot form in his stomach.
"Are you listening, Won?"
"Huh? Oh yeah, sorry. What happened again?" He nervously chuckled, clearly not wanting to hear what was going to come out of your mouth.
"We're going on a date tomorrow!"
His heart was about to burst.
Deep down, he wished he could tell you how he truly felt, how much he cared about you, but it seemed like there would be no point.
Every word felt like a stab, yet he forced a smile. "I am so happy for you, YN."
And there was that smile—the very smile he hoped to see whenever you talked about him. But instead, that beautiful smile was for somebody else.
As you continued excitedly talking about your upcoming date, Jungwon couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness, knowing that he would always be just a friend, never the one you longed for.
Jungwon found another thing he hates about being in love.
He hates how loving someone can ultimately hurt you too.
NIKI — “TOO HARD TO LOVE”.
i can somehow see niki being apart of a trope where there is a lack of communication. like i think it would be hard to express himself properly, leading him to become closed off. like he would do tests to see how much you actually cared for him, leading to his own unsatisfaction. and yet, he still wouldn’t communicate it properly, leading to the downfall of your relationship with him.
"It doesn't seem like you care," Niki let slip out over the phone, his words not quite what he had intended to say to you.
"What do you mean?" you responded, clearly frustrated. "How can you say I don't care?"
"You haven't reached out to me."
"And what about you?"
"What?" Niki was taken aback by your abruptness.
"You never tell me anything. How am I supposed to know that you even want to be around me when all you've done is just push me away?"
The silence hung heavy between you, the weight of unspoken emotions palpable even through the phone line. Niki's mind raced, grappling with the sudden confrontation. He hadn't anticipated this turn in their conversation, nor had he realized the extent of his own actions until now.
Niki had never experienced this level of comfort and connection with anyone before.
He hadn't anticipated falling in love again—until he met you.
You possessed all the qualities he had been searching for, and being with you felt incredibly natural. So, it came as a surprise when he found himself in a relationship with you; it all seemed almost too perfect to be true.
Without even realizing, Niki was starting to become rather distant. He never intended to, but he was afraid of becoming a burden to you. The thought of investing so much time and energy into someone who might eventually leave scared him.
"I... I didn't realize," Niki stammered, his voice betraying a mix of confusion and guilt. "I didn't mean to push you away. I just... I've been dealing with some stuff lately, and I guess I haven't been handling it well."
"Then you could've told me, but you didn't. You only talked to me because I was always the one reaching out first," you finally said, your voice heavy with hurt. "So why?"
Niki felt a lump form in his throat, the weight of your words sinking in. He struggled to find the right words, the right explanation, but nothing seemed adequate.
"I don't know," he admitted softly. "Maybe I was scared."
"Scared of what?" you pressed gently.
"Just... just forget it," Niki muttered, frustration creeping into his voice. “I’m sorry.”
"Niki, I need to know that you're willing to put in the effort, to be open with me. This relationship can't work if it's one-sided."
"I just don't want to lose you," he confessed, his voice breaking slightly.
"I don't know if I can believe that."
"What?" Niki's voice was filled with surprise and hurt.
"I can't tell if you're honest with me. You've done this more than once, Niki."
"But it's true!" His voice raised higher, clearly panicked by how the situation had escalated.
"You say that, but actions speak louder than words," you replied, trying to stay calm despite the turmoil inside. "If you really don't want to lose me, you need to show it, not just say it."
Niki should've taken that as a sign to finally show what he'd been holding back. He should've explained why he had such a hard time expressing his feelings, and proved to you that you were someone he truly wanted.
But he didn't. He found himself holding back once again, repeating the very behavior you truly hated.
"Okay," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
"That's... that's it?" You scoffed in disbelief. "Really?"
Niki felt a surge of panic and regret. He knew he was failing you again, but the words just wouldn't come. "I don't know what else to say," he admitted, feeling helpless.
"You could start by being honest," you replied, frustration evident. "Why is it so hard for you to open up? Why do you keep pushing me away?"
Niki hesitated, the fear of vulnerability clawing at him. "It's not that simple," he said finally. "I've never been good at this. I've always been afraid of getting too close, of being hurt again. But that's no excuse. I know I need to change."
"Then show me," you insisted. "Show me that you mean it. I need to see that you care enough to try."
Your silence was heavy, filled with both skepticism and a flicker of hope. "Call me when you're finally ready for this. I think we both need a break to think things over clearly, okay?"
Niki should have seen this coming. But instead of running away from the problem like he used to, he accepted it. "Okay."
You hung up the phone, leaving Niki alone with his thoughts. Determined, he knew he had to win you back and prove he could be different, better than he had been throughout the entire relationship.

TWTHH Spinoff: Until I Found You [1]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: prince!Yeosang x princess!reader
AU: historical au (Joseon era)
Word Count: 6.8k
Summary: It had been a while since Lady Park's firm rejection, and the fourth prince was beginning to believe he would never get over her. Though the heartbreak had made him more mature, one thing remained unchanged: his stubborn reluctance to marry. Convinced he would never find someone who could understand his pain as deeply as the general's wife, he was unprepared for the surprise life had in store for him—one that came in the form of a foreign princess.
A/N: As stated in the title, this is a spinoff. If you have yet to check out the main story, it's probably better to read that before starting this.
Main Story | Spinoff Masterlist | Part 2

"A peace treaty with Joseon? What do you think Father is going to offer them?" you wondered aloud, staring at your reflection in the ornate gold mirror as your mother gently combed your hair.
She sighed, her face filled with dread. "What else do you think, my dear? Another daughter, obviously. Lord have mercy on whichever poor soul has to be sacrificed."
Your fists clenched involuntarily, clutching the fabric of your robes at the thought. You couldn't imagine the horror: what if it was you? To be torn from your family, everyone you loved, everything you knew, and sent off to a foreign land to marry a complete stranger and live the rest of your life in isolation. "Mother, this is cruelty."
"This is reality, sweetheart."
You winced at her words. She was right, and you hated it. The mere thought of being separated from your mother, Royal Concubine Sarisu of Ruhon, was beyond unbearable. You were all she had, and she was everything to you.
Reaching for her hands, you squeezed them and smiled sadly up at her. Once, she had been the most favoured concubine, steadily climbing the ranks, poised to take the spot beside the then-empty throne. But then the current Her Majesty arrived. With her strong family ties and influential background, she immediately stole away all your mother's chances of ever becoming Queen.
But that wasn't all she stole.
She took everything, including all your father's affections, leaving him with no room for your mother or you. Since then, the two of you had been reduced to mere decorations in the grand palace of Ruhon, often labelled the rejects of His Majesty. You were invisible to him, merely waiting for the end of your days to come.
Neither of you were fools; you knew what people said about you both. But it didn't matter. You were grateful not to be starving on the streets and to still have a roof over your heads, even if it was nowhere near as luxurious as the Queen and her children's chambers. No matter how much favour your mother had lost, at least the King was still kind enough to let you both keep your titles and everything else.
Or was he really?
Perhaps you shouldn't have spoken about it. Now, you had jinxed it. You should have known, should have realised why he had kept you around. You had your own uses and were finally coming in handy now. The realisation struck when a eunuch rushed into your chambers, which was an unusual occurrence, bowing lightly—nothing like the deep bows usually reserved for other royals.
"Princess Sarisu, you have been summoned by His Majesty the King and are expected in the throne room this instant," he announced, gesturing towards the exit. "Please allow me to escort you there."
He let out a small, impatient huff when you remained frozen in your spot, exchanging horrified looks with your mother. "Come now, Your Highness. We mustn't upset His Majesty any further."
She cleared her throat, nodding encouragingly despite her trembling hands. "Go on, my dear. I'm sure it's nothing, hm? Maybe your father simply wishes to catch up." Not wanting her to worry, you forced a smile. "Yes, Mother. You're probably right."
You weren't sure who you were trying to convince with those foolish white lies, but a part of you clung to the hope that was all it was. With that, you followed the eunuch towards the throne room.
The palace corridors seemed colder, the shadows darker, as you walked. Each step echoed ominously, amplifying the anxiety churning in your stomach. You could feel the eyes of courtiers and servants on you, their whispers adding to the tension.
Finally, you reached the grand doors of the throne room. They loomed before you, heavy and imposing. The eunuch pushed them open, revealing the vast chamber within. At the far end, on the elevated throne, sat your father, the King. His expression was stern, his gaze piercing as it settled on you.
"Approach," he commanded, his voice resonating through the hall.
You walked forward, your heart pounding in your chest. As you neared the throne, you dropped to your knees, bowing deeply. "This princess greets Your Majesty," you greeted, your voice trembling despite your efforts to remain composed.
Your father studied you for a moment before speaking, "I hope you have been well, princess. I will not bother beating around the bush; you are at the perfect age for marriage, and it is time you fulfil your duty. The peace treaty with Joseon has been finalised. It has been decided that you are to be sent as part of the agreement. We leave in a week to celebrate your future union with Ninth Prince Yeochan."
The words struck you like a blow. Your worst fears had come true. You were to be sacrificed for the sake of the kingdom, sent away to a foreign land to marry a stranger. Your mind raced, struggling to process the reality of your fate.
Oh god, it's really happening... to me.
"Father, please..." you began, but he raised a hand, silencing you.
"Look at me, princess. This is not a question, it's an order," he commanded, his gaze steely and unyielding despite your tear-filled eyes. You were bewildered; you were merely the daughter of a concubine. It was usually only princesses born from the Queen who had to marry for the nation's sake.
"But Father—" you fell to your knees, prepared to beg for mercy.
He snarled, "No buts! Your sisters are too young for this. Her Majesty and I have deliberated long and hard. You're the only one fit for the task. You'll do well to make your mother proud. I know you're upset about leaving her behind, but you're a princess, and you know what that means. Your sacrifice will save Ruhon…"
Yes, from your reckless decisions.
If only he hadn't rashly launched a sudden attack on Joseon, none of this would have happened. Peace would have prevailed, and you wouldn't have to be offered as a pawn in the war he instigated. You weren't stupid; he was giving you up because this was a deal with the enemy. The Queen's daughters were too precious to be sent away.
"Oh, come now, my daughter. Just be grateful you aren't marrying the dreadful fourth prince of Joseon. I'm sure their ruler still has some conscience. You'll be fine."
Easy for you to say, Father...
One week. That was all the time you were given to come to terms with your fate—to be the chosen pawn sent to Joseon, to spend these final days with your mother before departing forever. Reality wasn't cruel; your father was. You had never harboured such profound hatred for him as you did now. Oh, your poor mother. How would she endure the emptiness of the palace alone? Your heart ached with the mere thought of her grieving in the cold confines of your shared chambers, her life overshadowed by your absence.
Though you faced a grim future, perhaps far worse than hers, all you could think about was the one person who meant everything to you—the one who had brought you into this world, nurtured you, protected you, and showered you with endless love. And now, you were leaving her behind forever.
The days blurred together in a haze of sorrow and apprehension. You clung to your mother, finding solace in shared memories and whispered reassurances. The palace, once your sanctuary, now felt like a gaol, each room a reminder of the departure that loomed ahead.
On the final night, she held you tightly, her voice trembling with unshed tears. "You are strong, my dear. Remember that. No matter what happens, hold on to who you are. Go and make us all proud."
You nodded, tears mingling with hers. "I will, Mother. I promise. Don't worry about me and take good care of yourself."
The next morning arrived far too soon. As you prepared to leave, you took a last, lingering look around your chamber, memorising every detail. Then, with a heavy heart, you followed the royal guard sent to escort you. Walking through the palace corridors for the final time, the weight of your destiny pressed heavily upon you.
At last, you reached the courtyard where the grand carriage awaited. Your father stood beside it, his face a mask of indifference. He offered no words as you approached, only a curt nod. "Come, let us go."
With one final, sorrowful glance at your mother, you climbed into the carriage. As it began to move, you watched her silhouette grow smaller and smaller until she was nothing more than a distant memory.
Thus, you set off towards an uncertain future, your heart heavy with grief and dread, knowing you were leaving behind everything you had ever known and loved.
Goodbye, Ruhon... goodbye, Mother.
"Your Highness, how should we announce you at the banquet?" the King of Joseon asked, smiling warmly down at you.
Your father straightened up proudly beside you, about to answer on your behalf, but you quickly bowed. "Please announce me as Princess Sarisu, Your Majesty, as I have always been known in Ruhon."
The Joseon ruler's eyes widened slightly at the realisation. "Ah, so this is the famous Royal Concubine Sarisu's only daughter. That explains your exceptional beauty. And here, we assumed a princess from Her Majesty of Ruhon would be offered to us." It was a subtle jab at your father, who had thought he could deceive the court by presenting you as a Crown Princess.
Your father's smile was steely, masking the fury that boiled inside him. He trembled with anger at your betrayal—exposing your true identity by using your mother's name, despite his stern reminder that you were to pose as one of the Queen's daughters.
Call it your little revenge if you will.
"No matter, Father. I consider myself fortunate to be matched with such a beauty. After all, I, too, am a son of a concubine. We are quite the match," said Prince Yeochan, your betrothed, as he bowed respectfully to his father and yours. His words might charm most, but you doubted their sincerity. Living in a palace, you had seen your share of false pleasantries and performative kindness.
The King of Joseon nodded approvingly. "As you should be, Ninth Prince. I expect you to treat your future wife well. Now let us adults discuss the wedding plans. You may show your fiancée to her temporary quarters."
"Yes, Father," the young prince responded, then approached you, offering his arm. "Come, my princess."
Despite the grandeur of your reception, it was clear that the welcome was more for show than genuine warmth. This became evident when you arrived at your assigned quarters, a small and secluded part of the palace, far from the bustling main areas where the rest of the royal family and court members congregated.
"Thank you, Your Highness, for showing me here," you said politely.
At that moment, the facade of the dutiful son vanished. Yeochan smirked humourlessly. "Save it. It doesn't matter if you're the daughter of a concubine or the Queen; you're still Ruhon scum to me. Don't think that just because you're here showing me your faux politeness, you can fool me. I don't trust you, princess," he spat.
You sighed, your shoulders slumping. There it was, his true nature revealed. Not that you hadn't anticipated this. Given the history between your nations, it was inevitable. You were the princess from the country that had dared to attack his own, a symbol of betrayal and defeat, delivered to their doorstep after your father's cowardly surrender. You could have argued, defended yourself, but it was clear there was no point. His hatred was deep-rooted and unwavering.
The ninth prince huffed at your silence. "I'll make this clear: you will do well to cooperate and play the perfect couple with me in public. But do not expect anything when we're alone. You are nothing more than a political pawn in this game. Remember that."
You met his gaze, your own eyes steady and resolute. "I understand, Your Highness. I will fulfil my duty as expected."
He sneered, turning on his heel and leaving you alone in your sparse quarters. As the door closed behind him, the reality of your situation settled over you like a heavy shroud. The grandeur of the palace felt hollow, a gilded cage in which you were now imprisoned.
Tears threatened to spill, but you blinked them back, refusing to succumb to despair. You had to be strong, for your mother, for yourself. No matter how cold and unwelcoming this place was, you would endure. You had no other choice.
I'll be fine, Mother... I'll live.
The rest of the day had been spent wandering aimlessly within your quarters. The thought of dining with your father was unbearable; after the stunt you had pulled earlier, you dreaded to think what he might say or do. So, you remained secluded in your room, staring at the miserable meal the palace maids had brought you.
Their reluctance to serve you had been apparent. A few bolder ones had whispered about you not so discreetly, their words cutting through the fragile composure you were trying to maintain. Feeling the tension and disdain in the air, you had dismissed them, preferring solitude over their barely concealed contempt.
Staring at the plain bowl of rice and a few meagre side dishes, your appetite vanished. You knew enough about Joseon to recognise that this meal was far from a luxury. It was a clear message: you were not welcome here, not valued, not respected.
Heaving a deep sigh, you thought of your poor mother. How was she coping with your absence? Was she as lonely and lost as you felt in this foreign place? The ache of missing her was a constant, gnawing pain, a reminder of everything you had been forced to leave behind.
As night fell, the shadows in your room grew longer, mirroring the gloom that settled over your heart. The palace, with all its splendour, felt like a prison. The heavy silence pressed down on you, amplifying the sense of isolation. You were a stranger in an enemy land, alone and uncertain of the future.
But you knew you had to endure.
For your mother, for your people, and most importantly, for yourself. No matter how bleak the present seemed, you clung to a glimmer of hope. Perhaps, in time, you would find a way to navigate this treacherous path and carve out a place for yourself in this unforgiving world. Until then, all you could do was survive, one day at a time.
You had gone to bed with a heavy heart, fully aware that this was now your reality, and nothing could change it. A part of you was determined to make the best of your situation despite the hostility you faced. Perhaps it was the adrenaline and emotional exhaustion from the day that allowed you to fall asleep without much trouble on your first night in this foreign land.
The following morning, you were awakened by the same group of maids assigned to you. They were there to bathe and dress you, and knowing you had no choice but to comply, you obediently allowed them to do as they pleased. You endured every harsh tug and rough handling without a single complaint as they prepared you for the day.
"Thank you, you may go," you said, dismissing the group of maids as soon as they had finished their task. Sitting in front of the mirror, you took in your new appearance. It was a sobering reminder that you were about to be a princess of Joseon. The foreign hanbok and hairdo, though simpler and less dramatic than Ruhon's style, were beautiful in their own right.
You reached a hand behind to stroke the single gold hairpin tucked into the neat low bun on your head, then moved down to touch the smooth lavender fabric now adorning your body. "Hmm, not bad at all," you murmured to yourself.
Despite the simplicity, there was a quiet elegance to the attire. The colours were soft and soothing, a stark contrast to the vibrant and intricate garments you were accustomed to. You could see yourself getting used to these outfits. This was your new reality, and you were determined to find beauty and strength in it, no matter how challenging the circumstances.
With a deep breath, you rose from your seat and steeled yourself for the day ahead. You knew it wouldn't be easy, but you resolved to face whatever came your way with grace and resilience. Knowing that no one, especially not your fiancé, would show you around the palace grounds, you resolved to explore the place on your own. With the banquet scheduled for the next night, you had this day to yourself. What better way to spend it than embarking on a little adventure?
Finally free from the pressure and the sensation of walking on eggshells, you wandered the palace grounds with awe. The buildings and their architecture were new and different, capturing your attention at every turn. You nodded politely at any passing palace staff who, despite their reluctance or displeasure, still greeted you with courtesy. Your attire signified your status, and rules were rules; they couldn't possibly ignore you in broad daylight.
Amid your exploration, you stumbled upon what seemed to be a tranquil cherry blossom garden. Though the flowers were not in bloom, you could imagine how breathtaking this place would be in the right season. You made a mental note to return when the cherry blossoms were in full glory.
Deciding to take a walk inside, you were unprepared for the sight that greeted you. In one of the many pavilions, diligently practising calligraphy, was a figure that resembled a celestial being. The scene was almost ethereal: the serene garden, the elegant strokes of the brush, the calm concentration on the person's face.
Could he be a scholar...?
Your breath caught in your throat. The figure was dressed in simple yet refined garments. The rhythmic movements of the brush were mesmerising, each stroke deliberate and graceful. You couldn't help but feel as though you were intruding upon a sacred moment. But you couldn't turn away as you moved closer, recognising the poem being written.
"Is that Hwaseoljedeungnubu by Shin Sukju?" you asked softly.
At your question, the person's head whipped up. It took him a moment to respond, but he did eventually. "Yes, it is."
You nodded in approval, a small smile on your lips, pleased that he had yet to frown or react negatively as most people had so far. "Nice penmanship, by the way."
He cleared his throat, slightly flustered. "Thank you."
To say that Yeosang was surprised would be the understatement of the century. Only the most highly educated individuals could recognise this series of poems exchanged between Joseon officials and Ming Dynasty envoys. He wouldn't have been surprised if even most low-ranking officials were not well-versed in this.
First of all, you were a woman, and most women, despite being educated, did not study these texts. Secondly, you were clearly not local; your accent gave that away. Were you perhaps a visiting guest here for the banquet celebrating the union with Ruhon?
But above all else, did you... not know who he was? Even if you didn't, most people turned away as soon as they spotted the dreadful red mark beside his left eye, which was not hard to miss.
When you bit your lip earnestly and stepped into the pavilion, asking, "Do you mind if I join you?" The fourth prince furrowed his brows and placed down his brush, lifting his head to look at you properly, giving you a clear view of his birthmark.
"Are you certain, my lady? Why would you want to sit with me?"
You blinked, confused by the question. "I-I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I don't understand—"
He sighed, pointing at the mark on his face. "Do you not see this?"
You nodded slowly, still lost. "Yes, and?"
His brows flew up at your nonchalant response, and he took a deep gulp. "What—are you not disgusted?"
You frowned. "That's a strong word, but... am I supposed to be? By what exactly?"
He finally gave in, taking a moment to process the fact that standing before him was someone who did not see anything wrong with him—the second person to do so after Lady Park. He motioned to the seat opposite him. "Please, have a seat."
You smiled gratefully and settled across from him. He waited for you to be seated before beginning his introduction. "I apologise for my unusual questions. I… I'm Yeosang, the Fourth Prince of Joseon."
He held his breath as your eyes widened in realisation, bracing himself for the rejection he was so accustomed to. But it didn't come. Instead, your lips formed a small pout as you observed him. "So, you're the famous Fourth Prince Yeosang… I don't get it."
He chuckled in bewilderment. "What don't you get, my lady?"
"Why do they call you dreadful? I've only been here for a day and a half, met a handful of people, and you're the first and only one to treat me with equal respect. Besides, you're… very attractive. I don't understand why they'd call you—" Your eyes landed on the birthmark. "Ah, so that's why…"
He nodded solemnly, trying not to show how much it affected him. "Yes, all because of this one stupid mark."
You pursed your lips. "Well, if it's worth anything, I think you're beautiful. People can be cruel for no reason. Trust me, I know."
For the first time in forever, the fourth prince broke into a genuine grin. "Thank you, I… I think you're beautiful too."
You grew shy at that, and wanting to break the ice, Yeosang picked up his brush, handing it to you. "Now, you must tell me how you know about Shin Sukju and his poems. Also, which is your favourite?"
For the remainder of the afternoon, he refrained from asking about your identity, and you were grateful for it. You feared he might distance himself if he learned of your betrothal to his brother, and the thought unsettled you. After all, finding a genuine friend was rare and precious, and you wished to cherish this fleeting moment of sincerity. You knew that by the next day, at the banquet, everyone, including Yeosang, would eventually discover who you truly were.
But you pushed that worry from your mind.
Just for now...
Your time together was cut short when the prince had classes to attend and could no longer stay. As he packed up his things and prepared to leave the pavilion, he turned to you. "Will you be at the banquet tomorrow?"
You swallowed and nodded, offering a small smile. "Yes, I'll be there."
His face lit up with a beaming smile. "Great! I’ll see you there, my lady."
You rose from your seat and bowed. "See you, Your Highness."
Once Yeosang had departed, you sank back into your seat, lost in contemplation. So this was the prince your father had told you you were fortunate not to be wed to? Of course, you knew that if you had been matched with him, he might not have been as courteous as he had been today. Before arriving in Joseon, you had heard nothing but unflattering remarks about him. He was rumoured to be a rebellious brat, the least appealing prince among his brothers.
Yet, meeting him in person, you found the reality strikingly different.
Sure, the rebellious reputation might have some truth, but people can change. As for the claim of his being unappealing, you couldn't fathom how a mere birthmark could diminish his allure. In your eyes, Yeosang was extraordinarily handsome, and the mark only seemed to enhance his unique charm.
Could it be that you were developing a small crush on your soon-to-be brother-in-law? Maybe so, but who could blame you? His kindness, coupled with his striking appearance, made it nearly impossible not to feel some affection. Perhaps it was this harmless little infatuation that provided a semblance of comfort and sanity amidst the turmoil of your new life.
You allowed yourself a small, wistful smile. For now, you would hold on to this tender feeling, as it was one of the few bright spots in the otherwise daunting reality you faced.
Heh, a silly little crush wouldn't hurt.
After the royal tutor had left, the fourth prince found himself alone in the library, a satisfied smile tugging at his lips as he gazed at the parchment before him. Your handwriting, delicate yet confident, adorned the page. He was thoroughly impressed by your breadth of knowledge, especially given that you were a foreigner. You had shared with him your passion for the liberal arts and how you had delved into them in your home library. It was refreshing to meet someone so genuinely curious and non-judgmental. You were a rare find in a world often quick to judge and dismiss.
His anticipation for the banquet grew, eager to continue your intellectual exchange and perhaps learn even more from you. This fleeting joy, however, was interrupted by a familiar voice.
"You seem to be in high spirits, my prince. Could it be because of the banquet? You've heard the news, haven't you?" Royal Secretary Choi's voice interrupted his thoughts. As he looked up, his smile faltered slightly upon meeting the secretary's inquisitive gaze.
"Heard? About what?" Yeosang inquired, his brows knitting together.
"Wait… you haven't? General and Lady Park will be attending. Last time we spoke, you mentioned wanting to see her, didn't you?" San replied, his tone laced with curiosity.
The mention of Lady Park swiftly altered his mood. Thoughts of your newfound friendship evaporated, overshadowed by the grim realisation. Although he had reconciled with the fact that she would never be his, the prospect of seeing her again—now pregnant and with her husband—was a painful reminder of his loss. The thought of facing them, of witnessing their happiness, stirred a deep unease within him. Was he truly prepared for this?
"I see. Thank you for the information, Secretary Choi. I'll see you at the banquet tomorrow," Yeosang said, gathering his belongings and leaving for his chambers. He needed solitude to grapple with the revelation and to ready himself for the emotional challenge ahead.
"We'd like to extend our gratitude to all distinguished guests here today to celebrate the union between Joseon and Ruhon. May I present to you the match that will make all of this possible: our very own Ninth Prince Yeochan and the beautiful Princess Sarisu of Ruhon. Their Highnesses will be officially wed in a month. Now, let us all use this opportunity to congratulate the new couple on their impending marriage and wish them an eternity of happiness," the King of Joseon announced.
Oh. There she is.
Yeosang blinked. There you were, standing before the assembled guests. Indeed, you were present. And, of course, you were the Ruhon princess sacrificed for the peace treaty. The puzzle pieces began to fit together. That explained your knowledge and undeniable class—qualities far beyond those of any mere noblewoman. He supposed he shouldn't have been too surprised.
As if on cue, you turned and met his gaze. Your eyes widened slightly upon seeing him, your expression turning guilty. You opened your mouth, ready to mouth an apology, but before you had the chance, a tap on his shoulder quickly shifted his attention.
Likewise, your fiancé cleared his throat, sensing your distraction. He murmured in your ear, "Focus, princess. Don't you dare embarrass me." You blinked and nodded. While people on the outside might coo and assume the Ninth Prince was a loving fiancé, only you know the reality behind his facade.
"There you are, my prince!" the royal secretary called out. "The general and his wife are just over there," he informed, nodding toward the area where the couple could be seen. Seonghwa was deep in conversation with his handpicked military strategist, General Officer Song, while his wife was engaged in a chat with one of the royal physicians nearby.
Yeosang's breath hitched as soon as his eyes landed on the pregnant woman. In an instant, all thoughts of you and the revelation of your identity as the foreign princess meant to marry his brother vanished. All he could see and think about was the general's wife. It was the first time he had seen her since her wedding with General Park, and she looked… beautiful, as always. In fact, she seemed even more beautiful now, glowing with the radiance of motherhood.
Oh god, he realised he was still far from getting over her. Would he ever get over her? He didn't know, but for now, just for now, he needed to talk to her.
Taking a deep breath, he started toward her, his heart pounding with every step. As he approached, her laughter reached his ears, a sound that once brought him immense joy and now brought a bittersweet ache. It took her a moment to notice him, needing the royal physician she was speaking with to signal his presence. Her eyes widened in surprise when she turned to see him, starting to bow, but he stopped her before she could do so.
"It's been a while, my lady. Would you... care to catch up?" he asked.
She bit her lip, turning to meet her husband's warm gaze. The general nodded, indicating the decision was hers. Turning back to face the prince, she beamed. "Of course, Your Highness. Shall we talk over some snacks? Pregnancy cravings, you know," she joked, and he agreed, guiding her to the refreshments table.
"So, how have you been?" Yeosang asked, his voice laced with a mix of hope and sorrow.
"I've been well, thank you," she responded, her hand instinctively moving to rest on her belly. "And you? How have you been?"
He hesitated, searching for the right words. "I've been… managing. It's good to see you looking so well."
She smiled again, a hint of sadness in her eyes. "It's good to see you too, Your Highness. I heard you've been doing well with your studies and your duties."
The fourth prince nodded, unable to tear his gaze away from her. "Yes, I've been keeping busy." He paused, taking a deep breath. "I just wanted to say… congratulations. You look radiant."
"Thank you," she said softly, her smile genuine. "It means a lot coming from you."
He gulped, pausing briefly before meeting her eyes. "You are happy, aren't you? The general... he's treating you well, yes?" He knew that San had already assured him of this once, but he needed to hear it from her to be fully convinced, to properly let go.
The lady softened and nodded. "I am, my friend. I feel like the happiest woman on earth. I assure you, you don't have to worry about me. And yes, my husband is very good to me. I promise you, I'm telling the truth," she added with a hint of jest.
"That's good. That's all that matters to me, my lady. Promise me you'll invite me over once the baby's born," the fourth prince said, despite the light ache in his chest.
"Of course, Your Highness! You'll be the first I'll invite!" she replied, laughing warmly.
The two exchanged a few more words, their conversation unknowingly catching most people's eyes in the hall, given their well-known history. For those craving drama, it was slightly anticlimactic to see the two get along so well. While the King and Queen exchanged proud smiles, the ninth prince was less than pleased, again overshadowed by his elder brother. Even on his special day, Yeosang managed to steal the spotlight.
The fourth prince sensed all eyes on him, growing slightly self-conscious. He wasn't clueless; he hadn't been naive enough to ignore that his failed attempt to win General Park's wife had been the talk of the palace. People weren't scrutinising him merely for his birthmark and rebellious tendencies anymore, but also for his brave yet foolish pursuit of a taken woman—one who belonged to one of the most intimidating and feared individuals in all of Joseon.
Knowing it was time to make himself scarce, he took one last, long look at the lady he still held feelings for, reminding himself it was time to truly let go. She was happy, with child, about to build a family with her husband. It was wrong for him to still feel this way.
"I wish you happiness, my lady. May you have a safe delivery, and I look forward to meeting your mini you," he said, his voice tinged with genuine warmth and a lingering sorrow.
She giggled softly, nodding. "Thank you, my prince. I wish you all the happiness in the world as well."
With that, Yeosang finally bid the lady goodbye, not forgetting to shoot the general a grateful nod before making his way out of the hall. He needed somewhere quiet to organise his thoughts and emotions. As he walked away, the murmurs and whispers of the court followed him, a stark reminder of the weight of his actions and the expectations placed upon him.
Reaching a secluded garden within the palace grounds, now adorned with lanterns hanging from the trees as part of the celebration, he allowed himself to breathe deeply, the cool night air filling his lungs. The moonlight cast gentle shadows, and the lanterns emitted a soft glow, while the distant sounds of the banquet faded into the background. Alone with his thoughts, he closed his eyes, letting the reality of the situation wash over him.
He had seen her happiness, her radiant glow as an expectant mother, and it brought him a strange sense of peace. It was time to move forward, to let go of the past, and to find his own path to happiness.
Taking one last deep breath, he straightened up, a newfound resolve settling within him. It was time to face the future, whatever it might hold, with a heart unburdened by past regrets.
Time to move on, Kang Yeosang...
The night had never felt longer than it did now as you sat wearily beside your fiancé. You observed with curiosity as Prince Yeosang conversed with the beautiful Lady Park, catching the gossip from two palace maids nearby. So this was the woman who held the fourth prince's heart and was the reason for his significant change.
Love, indeed, was a strange force, altering people as soon as they were struck by its powerful emotions. You wondered if you would ever experience such feelings. But glancing to your left at your soon-to-be husband, you doubted it would ever happen. From here on, everything was merely a duty—this marriage, this commitment.
At some point, you noticed that Yeosang was no longer in sight. Ah, to leave as you please must be a luxury. Like him, you, too, would rather be anywhere but here. But with no choice, you remained seated, playing the role of the perfect fiancée to the ninth prince.
Nearing the end of the banquet, the overwhelming presence of false kindness around you became unbearable. Turning to Prince Yeochan, you forced a smile. "Your Highness, it seems the event is drawing to an end. I am feeling rather fatigued. May I please excuse myself?"
He turned to you, and you could see the effort it took for him not to roll his eyes as he too forced a grin. "Of course, love. Anything for my princess," he said, loud enough for his father to hear.
The King of Joseon nodded approvingly. "Go, my dear. The ninth prince shall attend to the remaining guests."
With a grateful bow, you departed, ignoring the searing gaze of your father on your back. You had avoided interacting with him all night; his presence made you sick to the core. If having a father meant having one like him, you would rather have none at all. You couldn't wait for him to leave, not wanting to see him any longer.
As soon as you were out of the hall, you dismissed the maids escorting you, preferring to be alone and sparing them the burden of accompanying the hated Ruhon princess. With a sigh of relief, your shoulders slumped, finally feeling a sense of freedom. You began walking aimlessly, letting your feet guide you wherever they pleased. Though you knew your way back to your quarters, you had no desire to return to that cage just yet. You needed fresh air, a moment of peace.
Your eyes sparkled in wonder when you stumbled upon a beautiful garden area illuminated by lanterns. The soft glow of the lanterns cast gentle shadows, creating a magical atmosphere. You paused, taking in the sight, feeling a sense of calm wash over you. The night air was cool and refreshing, a stark contrast to the stifling atmosphere of the banquet hall.
Wandering deeper into the garden, you savoured the solitude. The sounds of the banquet faded into the distance, replaced by the rustling of leaves and the soft chirping of crickets. The garden felt like a sanctuary, a place where you could temporarily escape the expectations placed upon you.
Your breath hitched when you finally spotted a familiar figure sitting by the cobblestone ledge, facing a small pond. Carefully, you stepped towards him, unsure. Hearing your footsteps, he turned, causing you to freeze. With a small chuckle, he gestured to the spot beside him.
"Oh, hey there. Take a seat, princess." Your heart skipped a beat at the way he addressed you, genuine and without sarcasm, unlike your fiancé. And so you did, settling down beside him cautiously.
You swallowed nervously, avoiding his gaze, and asked in a whisper, "Aren't you angry with me, Your Highness? For deceiving you?"
He raised a brow in surprise and replied, "Why would I be, princess? Technically, I never inquired about your identity, and you haven't told me any lies. There is nothing for you to feel bad over, and absolutely no reason for me to be displeased. If anything, I'm quite happy to learn that you'll be staying here. You know, it's not often I encounter someone with a mind as exceptional as mine," he added with a teasing smile, giving you a gentle nudge on the shoulder.
A laugh escaped you, and you turned to face him, your heart fluttering at the sight of his warm and pretty smile. He extended his hand towards you. "Friends?"
You hesitated only for a moment before placing your hand in his. "Friends."
As you sat side by side, a tranquil silence enveloped you both. The gentle glow of lanterns bathed the garden in a soft, ethereal light, while the quiet murmurs of the pond added a serene backdrop to the moment. The moonlight shimmered on the water, creating a magical and soothing atmosphere.
You stole a glance at him, a genuine smile gracing your lips. For the first time since your arrival, the oppressive weight of loneliness seemed to lift. His presence beside you brought a sense of calm and companionship that had been sorely missing.
Perhaps, after all, being here wasn't so bleak. The evening's initial discomfort had given way to a blossoming connection. As you shared this peaceful moment, you couldn't help but think that this might be the start of something truly significant—a genuine friendship. The idea of finding someone who truly understood and accepted you kindled a warm hope in your heart.
I think I'll be just fine here, Mother.

"Thank you, my King," the mother of the nation murmured softly, holding her husband's hand as they settled into bed.
His Majesty raised an eyebrow, glancing at her with curiosity. "For what, my wife?"
The Queen sighed, her gaze distant. "For not forcing the fourth prince into this arranged marriage. I was afraid you might do so as part of his punishment, to settle him down once and for all."
The ruler of Joseon exhaled deeply. "I won't deny it, my Queen. I did consider it. But then I remembered Lady Park's words—he has endured enough already. It's my fault he became the man he is. I have not been the father he needed, and the least I can do now is honour his wishes, even if it means he chooses not to marry."
Her Majesty nodded, her voice gentle. "I have not been the best mother either. But perhaps it is time we make amends. This decision is for the best."
"It is," the King agreed, his tone resolute.

A/n: Based on this post by @louifaith. This was pretty rushed because I'm tired and have a small headache, but I hope you like this nonetheless!
➳༻❀✿❀༺➳
“And as the weddin' bells chimed, the prince and his bride walked down the aisle, hand in hand, wavin' to the people who had come from far and wide to witness the unification of their love. As the happy couple descended down the grand staircase, the former king watched his son, notin' the happy smile on his face, and knew that the future king had made the right decision; he had chosen love above everythin' else, and tha' was wha's important.”
“What's a wedding, Daddy?” Hazel questioned, sleepily gazing up at Daryl through half lidded eyes.
Daryl looked up from the book and gave his four-year old daughter a small smile, reaching forward to gently push the hair away from her face. “A weddin' is somethin' tha' two people who love each other very much plan. S'so tha' they can make a promise to always stay with each other, so tha' their friends and family can see 'em pledge their love to one another.”
“Like you and Mama?”
Daryl chuckled and shook his head. “Yer mama and I didn't have a proper weddin'. We only had a weddin' between us in our bedroom. Our family found out 'bout it the next day.”
Hazel nodded slowly, trying to fully grasp what her father was telling her. “So you don't have to have a wedding if you don't want to?”
Daryl nodded. “Exactly.”
“What about me, Daddy?” Hazel asked again, staring up at Daryl in curiosity. “Do I have to plan a wedding for me one day?.”
“Hopefully not,” Daryl muttered to himself, before shaking his head and plastering another smile onto his face. “Only if ya want, Hazelnut. S'not mandatory.” He reached for the covers and drew it over her body, tucking her in tightly. “Now c'mon, ya lil' gremlin. S'time fer bed.”
Daryl leaned forward to place a kiss on Hazel's forehead. However, Hazel took Daryl's face in her small, chubby hands and rubbed the tip of her nose against his for a nose kiss. Daryl smiled and returned the small, tender gesture, waiting for Hazel to pull back first.
“I love you, Daddy,” Hazel told Daryl, finally letting go of his face to rest her head back against her pillow.
Daryl froze for a moment, not believing his ears, before snapping out of it and sending her a small smile. “I love ya more, Hazelnut. Try and get some rest, alrigh'? We'll play again in the mornin'.”
“Goodnight, Daddy,” Hazel greeted Daryl sleepily, turning over on her side and closing her eyes.
“Nigh', Hazelnut.”
Daryl stood up from the bed and walked out of the room, quietly closing the door behind him. In a daze, Daryl walked through the short hallway and into the room he shared with you. Once inside, he closed the door and stood unmoving for a few moments, simply staring ahead at where you sat.
Looking up from your book, you sent Daryl a small, inviting smile. However, your smile vanished when you saw the tears that prickled at the corners of your husband's eyes, your heart dropping at the sight.
“Baby, what's wrong?” you asked hurriedly, setting your book aside.
Daryl's eyes met yours. He shook his head, desperately trying to gather his racing thoughts. “I dun'—Hazel, she—she—”
“Come here,” you cut him off softly, motioning for him to come closer.
Without needing any further persuading, Daryl moved forward and practically collapsed on top of you, but he made sure not to crush you under his body weight. He settled himself against you, comfortably resting his head on your chest. You wrapped your arms around him, bringing one hand to gently thread through his hair. That's all it took for Daryl to fully break down.
You pressed a tender kiss to the top of his head, whispering sweet, reassuring nothings into his hair. Daryl cried into your shirt, gripping it tightly to try and anchor himself back down to reality. His mind was racing at a million miles a second, with no sign of stopping in the near future.
“Shh, it's okay, Baby. I got you. I got you,” you whispered sweetly, holding your husband tightly.
A few minutes passed with you holding the man that you loved, allowing him to cry into your shirt for reasons you didn't know of yet. When Daryl finally managed to calm his cries down to sniffles, you gently scratched his scalp, gazing down at him in concern.
“Daryl—”
“M'alrigh',” Daryl hiccupped, burying his head deeper into your chest. “I jus' overreacted, s'all.”
“No, none of that,” you chastised, clicking your tongue in dissatisfaction. “What's got you so upset, love?”
“M'not upset,” Daryl corrected you, lifting his head to gaze up into your eyes. “Quite the opposite, actually.”
“Then what is it?” you gently urged, cupping your husband's cheek in your hand. “You know you can tell me anything.”
“I jus'... Hazel told me she loves me. She ain't ever explicitly told me tha' before,” Daryl explained, his grip on your shirt tightening. “S'so surreal to me. It was unexpected. I can't believe tha' someone so perfect, someone tha' I helped make, can love me, yet she does. She told me tha' herself.”
“Baby,” you laughed softly, a smile on your face. “Of course she loves you. Our daughter adores you, Daryl. She might love you more than she loves me, but I'm okay with that. You deserve all the love in the world, and we're gonna give it to you. We'll always love you.”
Daryl could feel a lump form in his throat again, but he swallowed it down. He smiled at you softly, his heart swelling with love. He let one of his hands drift down to your stomach, rubbing at the small bump that had started to form there.
“Even this lil' bean?” Daryl asked rhetorically, sending you a playful smile. He knew exactly what your answer was going to be, but it was always nice to have that little bit of reassurance.
You rolled your eyes affectionately and nodded. “Especially this little bean. It's impossible not to love you, Daryl. You're amazing.”
“Nah, yer the amazin' one. Ya and our lil' girl.” Daryl stopped for a beat before continuing. “I love ya, peach.”
You smiled fondly. “I love you too, Daryl. More than you can ever know.”
Daryl lowered his head down to your stomach, placing a soft kiss over the clothed skin. “And I love ya too, lil' one. I can't wait to meet ya.”

This is a smut one shot.

This is gonna be a one shot about Theo!
WARNINGS: SMUT, drinking, smoking, suggestive topics!
=======
Theo had decided that for the trip him and his friends take every summer that he would take them to tour his home land, Italy. They had been there for about 3 days before Theo decided he should take them to the club his father owns. It was the hotspot of Rome’s nightlife. It was a cool summer night in the heart of Rome. You and your friends had been partying together all night hopping club to club, getting free drinks and gifts from men who had nothing better to do. Of course you never actually engaged in any activity with them. All you did was talk for a few minutes and maybe give them a dance, but never anything further. As you and your friends all cram into the black SUV uber you decide that you’re gonna go to Erotica. Erotica is one of the biggest and most popular clubs in the city. Of course it was gonna be hard to actually get in but a group of totally hot girls? What bouncer wouldn’t let you guys in? The small 5 minute drive to the club was spent taking selfies and having those drunk girl conversations. Beside from your totally drunk friends you were just barely tipsy. “Thank youu~” All of your girlfriends said to the driver nearly in sync. You all got out of the car and examined the long line of others waiting to get inside. You walk up to the bouncer. “Hiii how’s your night going?” you say sweetly tilting your head. “Good. And yours?” The tall and buff bouncer says nonchalantly as he examines you. “I’m gooood~ but I was just wondering if maybe you could let us in…without the line wait.” you say sweetly. “Mmm I don’t know about that…” the bouncer says hesitantly. One of your friends chimes in. “Pleasee~ we would really really appreciate it!” She says now standing beside you. Another one of your friends joins. “Yeah, I mean what’s the harm in letting us in now?” She says sweetly. The man’s sighs. He opens the red velvet ropes that separate you from him. All of your friends cheer and thank the bouncer. “You need ID?” You ask him. “Nah you ladies just have a good night.” He says flirty. You kiss him on the cheek and you and your friends head in. The music is blaring, you can feel the bass in your core. “Where do you guys wanna sit?” You practically yell to your friends trying to get them to hear you over the music. “Let’s just go to the bar! We can try to find someone with a booth!” One of your friends yell back. You lead your drunken friends over to the bar where you all sit. “What can I get you ladies?” The bar tender asks. “Can I get a vodka cranberry? Also can we start a tab?” You say as you hand the bar tender your card. He nods as the rest of your friends put in their drink orders. A few minutes later the bar tender hands you your drink. Nearly as soon as your friends get their drinks they hear a specific song come on. They all run to the dance floor drinks in hand leaving their purses and other belongings at the bar. You sigh. Seeing the sight of all their belongings on the bar.
You couldn’t just leave the valuables there, so you stay just on your phone sipping your drink. Making sure none of your friends valuables get stolen. You’re zoned out on your phone when the bar tender says. “Ma’am? Someone sent you a drink and wants to buy you a booth.” He hands you the drink. “Oh really?” You tilt your head, “and who may this person be?” You ask the bartender. “The bar tender motions over to a group of guys sitting in the VIP section of the club. You see a group of about 7 guys and 1 girl. They’re all sitting on a black couch conversating and laughing as your eyes scan the group one guy is staring back at you. Eyes locking, he smirks slightly. You raise the drink to him signaling a thank you. He nods. You turn back to the bartender. “Did he give you his name?” “No ma’am, he just said he wants you to be comfortable.” He shrugs and goes back to making the drinks.
You finish the ‘sex on the beach’ that was sent to you. You gather your friends things and walk to the hostesses stand at the front of the club. “Someone bought a booth for me and my friends? I wasn’t given a name but the bartender over there told me?” You ask. “Ahh yes, Mr. Nott was very adamant for getting you the best of the best! Right this way!” She says leading you to the VIP space of the club. Once you’re there she leads you to not so much a booth but a full couch fit for about 20 people. The VIP section was nothing short of luxurious with black and gold detailing with dark lighting. The regular purple, red, and blue club lights still reaching. The table in front of the couch is set up with an ice bucket with two bottles of Armand De Brignac Ace Of Spades Champagne. “You weren’t kidding when you said best of the best?” You laugh looking at the expensive champagne. You set your friends things down onto the table. The hostess nods and laughs, “The VIP bar is just back there and your server will be making rounds to your table every so often!” She smiles then leaves to go back to her stand. You immediately sit and text your friends group chat. ‘Come to the VIP section I got a booth!!!’ Almost seconds after you text the group chat your friends are standing infront of you. “Y/n are you joking VIP??” they all laugh and sit down grabbing their belongings off the table. “What can I say?” you laugh shrugging. “Did another lonely old man but it orrr?” One of your friends says as you all laugh. “Noooo actually he was quite handsome.” You say slyly. The table erupts in ‘Oooooo’ “He sent me a drink as well, we didn’t even talk! He just bought a booth for us. All the bartender said was, ‘He said he wanted you to be comfortable.’ like huhhh? And he set us up with champagne aswell!” You say giggling grabbing one bottle from the ice bucket, presenting it like a trophy to your friends. “Ouuuuu Y/n seems like you have a rich boy crushing on youuu~” Your friend says. “Stoppp now who’s gonna drink this with me!!” You say opening the bottle. You pour champagne for all your friends and cheers together then down your champagne. “Y/n~ cmon you haven’t dancing with us allll night!” Your friends say practically dragging you out off the couch and leading you to the dance floor.
With one of your friends behind you, you and her dance together. Dancing as drunk girls do, you were both dancing like you were together. Your hands above your head, you were swaying and dancing like a stripper basically. You had felt eyes on you but you couldn’t pin point where they were coming from. You closed your eyes and swayed your hips. When you opened your eyes again you finally realized who was staring. He’s still sitting on the same couch, his legs man spread, smoking a cigarette. His eyes are scanning your body as you dance. His gaze going down then back up to your eyes. Your eyes meet his. When he realizes you staring back at him, he slightly smirks. You hold eye contact with his as your moves begin to be more seductive and slow. He licks his bottom lip.
You suddenly feel an unfamiliar presence behind you it’s no longer your friend behind you but it’s now an unknown man. As he slips behind you, you still hold eye contact with the handsome man on the couch. His eyebrows furrow and he tilts his head slightly, still holding eye contact with you. Until your break it looking at the man behind you. He’s actually quite cute. Your hips sway against him and his hands lay on your hips traveling from there up and down your body. You turn your head back to look back at the man who was on the couch, but he’s gone. You shake it off and continue dancing. When you feel the man behind you get practically ripped off of you. A man from security was holding him by his arm, with no words being said security pulls the man to the front of the club and forces him out of the door. You still stand there on the dance floor in awe of what just happened. You feel two cold strong hands snake onto you from behind. The figure was pressed up behind you, you feels his head near your ear. “He wasn’t good enough for you bella, he had to go.” He whispers with his low husky voice, an Italian accent laced his words. You smirk knowing who was behind you. You turn around in his arms now facing him. His grasp still tight around your waist. You look up at him, your hands resting on his chest. “And you’re better?” You say flirtatiously. “sai che lo sono. non meritava di toccarti in quel modo.”(You know I am. He didn’t deserve to touch you like that) He says moving your hair out of your face. You smirk at his fluent Italian. “Grazie per tutti i regali, signor nott.”(Thank you for all the gifts Mr. Nott.)You say playing with the button of his shirt. “qualsiasi cosa per te stupendo. Balla con me?” (Anything for you gorgeous. Dance with me?) he practically purs into your ear. You nod with a small flirtatious smile. You turn back around. Your back now facing him, your hands snake up and around his neck. Your eyes are closed, you open them to see your friends giggling and gossiping with each to her about your current predicament. “Who’s that?” one of your friends mouth to you. You mouth back to your friends “VIP” They all start gigging and oooooing at you. You laugh a small bit continuing to dance with the mystery man. His cold slender hands travel up and down your waist only pausing when you turn back around to him. “Come ti chiami, bello?”(what’s your name handsome?)You say running your hands down his neck. “Theo Nott….or as you know me, Mr. Nott. he laughs lightly What’s yours bella?” “Y/n…Y/n Y/L/N” “Your name is as gorgeous as you…” You lightly blush at the compliment, you break the eye contact with him. He lightly snickers at the motion, his laughs come out basically as purrs. “I saw you at the bar and I knew I had to have you.” He says taking a hand off your waist and up to your jaw, gently guiding your face back to his. You look up at him fluttering your eyes. You’re lost in his stunningly icy eyes. His cold hand remains on your jaw, his index finger rubbing back and forth behind your ear. “Come back to my table with me?” He asks breaking the silence. You small smile grows on your face and you nod.
He takes you by your waist and leads you back to the VIP section. You approach the couch full of his group. A couple of the guys are ‘oooo’ing at the couple approaching the couch. They all sit there drinks in hand, “finally got her huhh~” a boy with icy blonde hair says snickering to the dark skinned boy sitting next to him. Theo just rolls his eyes slightly at the remark and guides you to take a seat next to him, his arm resting on the back of couch where you sit. “Shitt~ I had 100 on her rejecting you mate!” Another boy with a scar across his nose says handing the icy haired boy the money. You laugh lightly at the notion. “So what’s your name?” a girl with a chic black bob says sitting up. “Y/n..what’s yours?” You say extending your hand to her. “Pansy, she shakes your hand This is Mattheo, Enzo, Regulus, Tom, Blaise, and Draco.” She says as she gestures to the rest of the boys as she introduces them. You take one of the cigarettes off the table and light it. “I take it you guys aren’t from here?” You take a puff, when Theo gestures for a hit, you pass it to him. “Yeah we’re just here on a holiday, we’re from the UK.” Blaise says. “Theo just insisted we see his country.” Enzo says snickering slightly as he sips his drink. “Mmmm, qualcuno di voi parla italiano?”(do any of you speak italian?) They just stare back at you trying to not look as confused as they are. Theo then speaks up, “No non parlano italiano nemmeno una parola. Sono sempre stati troppo arroganti per imparare.” (no they don’t speak italian, not even a lick of it. They have always been too arrogant to learn.) He snickers handing you back the cigarette. You lightly laugh at his remark. Everyone just stares at you two. “Well atleast I know english, You shrug and sit up from Theo’s arm. My friends are probably looking for me.” You say standing up to walk away when you feel a cold hand grab your wrist. “va bene amore mio, riportali qui.”(it’s okay my love, just bring them back here.) You smile and nod, he lets go. You walk back to your VIP booth and grab your phone to text your friends. “Mert me back at the booth he wsnts me to bring you guys back to his tsble!!” you text them and wait at the table. After a minute or two they all come as a group up to the couch. “Y/nnn who is this mystery man you ran off with?!” One of your friends asks. “His name’s Theo and oh my god is he perfecttt. Buttt he said for me to bring you all back to his section, anddd he has friends.” You say smirking grabbing all your things from the table plus the second bottle of champagne. They all smile and converse about the current situation. Once they’re ready they all follow you back to Theo’s part of the VIP section. You place the champagne on the table. You sit back down next to Theo, his arm wrapping around your shoulder. You introduce your friends as they all find places on the couch. All your friends take a seat next to whoever, but it’s obvious they chose who they thought was the cutest. One of your girlfriends even sat next to Pansy obviously fancying her. You weren’t sure if Pansy swung that way but after a few minutes of everyone conversing it was made clear that she does. “Sooo are we gonna pop open that bottle or what?~” Mattheo says slyly. The group erupts in ‘yesss’s and excitement. You smirk and grab the bottle. Opening the bottle with the bottle opener. *POP* a rich champagne spraying everywhere. Everyone’s laughing and smiling seeing the champagne spray. You fill everyone’s cups. “To new friends?” Draco says toasting his cup in the air, with his arm around one of your friends. Everyone agrees, and guzzles down their champagne. Everyone seemed to hit it off, enough for you to feel confident to leave them by themselves. “Andiamo a ballare”(let’s go dance) You say standing up grabbing Theo’s hand pulling him up. He stands up flashing you that flirty smirk. As you two walk away Draco asks, “where re’ they running off too.” “They’re just gonna go dance.” Your friend says explaining.
You lead Theo to the dance floor holding his hand by barely linking fingers. As you get to a good spot you turn back around to him to see him looking at you with that same expression. You pull him close. His hands landing back at your hips, yours on his neck. Your fingers tracing patterns on his neck. His playing with the fabric of your short dress. You both just stare into each other eyes as you sway your bodies to the loud music. Your bodies so close there’s not even room for thought. As the song changes you turn around, your back now facing him. His hands rub up and down your body, not daring to go high enough to touch your chest. Your hips sway into him, his head dips down to your neck. Peppering kisses from behind your ear to the top of your collar bone. You lean your head back at the notion. Your bodies grow hot with the tension between you two growing. As he stops the affectionate kissing your hands travel back up to behind his neck as you continue facing away from him. Your bodies grinding together, your ass against his pelvis. “Cazzo, sei cosí bello che vogilo rovinare il tuo bel viso” (fuck you’re so fine, I wanna ruin your pretty face.) He purrs into your ear. You make a small noise at his needy sentence. He leans back down to your neck leaving a soft kiss on your pulse. “Fallo allora”(Do it then) You say trying to not fully show your neediness for him. He smirks against your skin. “sei sicuro di volero”(you sure you want that?) He purrs against your neck. “No sono sicuro Theo”(I’m sure Theo) He grabs your hand and leads you back towards the VIP section but instead of heading back to the table, he leads you towards an elevator, you both enter, he clicks the 20 button. When he presses you up against the wall of the elevator. His arms resting on either side of you. He starts leaving kisses on your neck. You lean your head back against the wall giving him more room. “Where we going amore mio?” You say with your breath getting heavier, he smirks against your fastening pulse, he lists his head barely. “My place.” Is all he says before he continues kissing you all around your neck before traveling up to your jaw. Once he gets there your body is getting needy. As he gets close to your lips, you suck in one more breath before giving into him crashing your lips together. Your hands now once again around his neck, one of your legs sliding up his side. His hands aggressively pulling your waist closer to him. Your hands pulling on his hair at the nape of his neck. His tongue colliding with yours. Breathing getting heavier. He presses into you, you could feel him hardening into you. You couldn’t help but let out a noise into the kiss. He breaks the kiss by smiling against your lips, then continues kissing you with hunger. You could feel your heart beat everywhere, especially down there. You wanted him, you wanted him more than everything. You could taste a hint of whiskey on his tongue.
*DING*
The elevator chimed as you both arrived on the 20th floor. The elevator doors opened to a beautiful penthouse. Sleek black marble floors, windows over looking all of Rome, the decor having hints of emerald green and gold. As the doors opened he guided you into the house. Both of you crashing onto the wall, still holding the heated kiss. Only breaking the kiss for him to take off his shirt, revealing his defined and muscle ridden torso. Your hands travel up and down his abs. With nott one word being said he tugs on your strapless dress. With one tug at the top of the dress your tits were revealed. Ofcourse you didn’t wear a bra, it’s a strapless dress. He smirks at the sight of your perky tits, slightly bouncing up and down with every heated breath you take. The sight made him hungry for you and your touch. His hungry hot lips collided with yours once again. You pull your dress down to your thighs and let it fall. You’re left in your black lace panties. He hs you pressed against the wall attacking your lips. You raise your legs to his side, his hand goes to your ass and glides down to your legs. He picks you up swiftly, you wrap your other leg around his waist. You didn’t know where he was taking you, but it didn’t matter, all you knew was that you needed him. You need him bad. Your arms laced around his neck. You break the kiss throwing your head back, he begins kissing your neck with his wet lips. Your body was throbbing at his touch. His kisses travel from your neck down to your nipple, he was practically sucking on you. Leaving purple and red blotches all around your chest “nggh~” was the only response you could let out. You feel him open a door behind you, a few seconds later you’re laid gently onto a bed, him hovering above you. You’re both looking into each others eyes, nearly breathless, he pushed your hair off your face. “You’re a mess amore mio.” He smirks. You lay there legs laced around his body. You melt at his words. He begins kissing your jaw trailing down your body until he’s at your stomach. He back up and grabs your legs, he pulls you to the edge of the bed, as he gets on his knees. He begins kissing your inner thighs surely leaving marks. As his gets closer to your throbbing pussy, you lay there breathless, eyes closed, back slightly arched. Just the thought of him begging that close made your mind run wild. His fingers begin tugging at the hem of your panties. He swiftly pulls them off and throws them across the room. His arms lace around your legs making sure you can’t get away. He lays one last kiss on your thigh. “All this for me? All I did was kiss you bella?” He says teasingly before licking you fold to fold. “mmmhnm” You arch your back at his warm tongue. His tongue travels all around before actually entering you. The noises you were making were lewd. He was fucking you with his tongue, he started slow before sucking on your clit. He found it with expertise. You were trying to suppress your noises. He made the perfect meal out of you.
Your stomach was doing flips. His tongue licked every part of you. His once slow movements fastly turned into more hungry and harsh movements. Your hands entangled in his hair, you pulled on his hair, basically pulling him into you. He let out a moan against you from the hair pulling. The vibrations of his noises sent a shock up your spine. Your back arched, mouth wide open with breathy moans being the only thing exiting. As the knot in your stomach slowly tightened from the sensation you pulled him closer. You were grinding into his face, his nose every so often brushing your throbbing clit. Every time without fail your eyes closed tightly. Your thighs were shaking. His tongue entering and exiting you. The knot tightened, as it did your trembling thighs tightened around his head. As they did his grip around your thighs tightened, leaving you no escape. He sucked on your clit, your pussy was soaked in fluids. Your once perfect hair was now all over, a result from you turning and thrashing your head from the pleasure Theo was giving you. “AhhUH~” you practically screaming as the achy pain in your stomach was waiting to be released. “Please~ nggh~” your noises filled the room. Your breathing getting more rapid. “Theo!~” you moaned yelling his name as the wave rushed over you. Your mind went absolutely blank. With your eyes shut, back now completely arched in the air, your hand gripped his locks tighter. His moans sending more vibrations into you. Your moans were getting louder as the vibrations of energy were flowing thru your body. Your grinds against his face were now shaky and uncontrollable. The liquid flowing out of you and into his mouth, he licked up every last bit. As the last rush of energy flowed thru you, you were left breathless. Only when you were fully done Theo came up. He hovered above your completely unclothed trembling body. His lips and chin dripping. “All night I’ve been waiting to hear how you scream my name.” He says softly as he run his hand through your hair. You lay completely helpless underneath him. He back off you, you lay there catching your breath, staring up at the ceiling trying to recover from the erotic effects he inflicted on you. You hear the *clink* of his belt, causing you to actually sit up. You see him taking off his pants, revealing him in his boxers. His bulge only being covered by a thin layer of cloth. The outline of him being completely soaked in pre-cum. He was huge. You sigh at the view. You throw your head back down into the fluff of the comforter beneath you. After a few seconds he’s back hovering above you. “Amore you’re so beautiful..but like I said I wanna ruin that pretty face..” His eyes dark and full of lust. “Please…” You manage to let out as you lace your arms around his neck. “Please what~?” he teases. “Please Theo..fuck me..” You say with your breath fastening at the thought. “Whatever you want darling…” He smirks. He stands back up and once again pulls you to the edge of the bed by your legs. He lines himself up with your still dripping pussy. His tip grazes you, you suck in a fast breath. He slowly pushes into you, letting out a satisfactory groan. You can’t help but moan at his size inside of you. He was huge. His voice laced with pleasure. “Fuck…” he says as he looks up at the ceiling. His movements were slow at first making sure you were comfortable. With every movement you made, he gained an erotic moan from you. His hips rolled into yours, each time making you take his full size. Your body was reacting with pleasure, not with thought. You swayed your hips into his. One of his hands that were once resting on your hips traveled to your clit. The stimulation of him hit your G-spot repeatedly and him massaging your clit made your body tremble with pleasure. Both of you began to get louder and louder. The sound of your skin colliding together each time filled the room. The head board repeatedly hitting the wall. Your back was arching into the air, your tits bouncing with each pump he made into you.Tears filled your eyes from the pure bliss you were experiencing.
“THEO PLEASE~!” you screamed as he leaned down to you, not stopping the consistent movement into you. His wining noises were music to your ears. This man was not shy with his noises. Your hands now once again in his hair pulling and tugging at every movement. You were both getting louder and louder every second. “fanculo amore mio, sei così buono”(fuck my love you’re so good) The sensation he was giving you was something you’ve never felt before. You could feel his size in your stomach. He was deep in you. His thrusts were getting rougher and deeper. You were both intoxicated with each other. He let out a long moan, you felt him twitch inside you. That sent you over the edge. Your mind once running wild with lewd thoughts, now clear. Your mouth opened wide. Eyes scrunched shut. Your dripping pussy tightened around him. Your hands tangled in his hair gripping down harder. He leans in and starts sucking on your tits again. Leaving dark marks all across your chest. You were basically screaming him nam, along with the other loud erotic noises leaving your mouth. The feeling in your stomach finally released. The sensation of you releasing on him made him cum in a second. Both of you reaching your peaks at the same time. His deep and breathy moans were laced with absolute pleasure. The shocks hitting your body like lighting. Your hips still rolling into his. Liquids dripping down your pussy and down his legs. As you moaned he begins to kiss you again. This time rougher. He was fully entranced with you. His body only wanted you he wanted all of you. You could still taste yourself on him. You both his riding your waves, you both let out moans into eachothers mouths. He continued his pace until he was done. His pace slowed before pulling out of you. Theo finally breaks the kiss, laying on his back next to you. You both lay there absolutely breathless. Your body still shaking. Chest rising up and down erotically. You both continue letting out small noises.
Your body still wanting to be close to him. You roll over laying an arm across his chest as you lay your head on him. One of his arms snakes around you playing with your hair. “Eri una principessa fantastica”(You were amazing princess) he breathes out.

[Sweetheart] [Noa x reader drabble]
Tumblr media
Summary: Noa comes to you and asks what a specific nickname means, one that he found in a book
Word count: 850+
Warnings: Noa having feelings for reader and he's once again fighting for his life.
A/N: this SUCKS but it's been in my notes app for far too long and it's almost 1k words that I cannot scrap, this is a weak piece but nonetheless, I hope someone enjoys it!
Noa has been introduced to the term "sweetheart" when digging through some of Raka's stash of books the orangutan had left behind. The Ape had decided to take a trip back to where he first met him to see if there has been more to learn from his late companion. And to this surprise, there was.
Many more books that Raka has deemed fit to be left behind. It was a good thing in hindsight, Noa figured. He could ask you about the words and their meaning, for you to teach him how to read it and comprehend.
The first book he has popped open seemed to be a picture book with very few words, like the one he has seen at the human base.
There were two echoes dancing around one another, seemingingly lost in one another's gaze from what the Eagle clan leader could tell.
'You are my sweetheart.' The script said, interesting. Tucking it into his woven bag, Noa mounted his horse to head back home.
Tumblr media
"Echo." Noa murmured, walking slowly from behind you.
You looked peaceful, the orange glow from the fire lighting up your features as you rested, a bowl of berries sat on top of your thighs.
"Welcome home, Noa." The smile you sent him was enough to make the ape trip over nothing. It was embarrassing. It made him feel like a child all over again.
After correcting himself, he eased himself down to your level, crouching to meet you.
"Need your help." Signing with one hand, moving to grab the book from the sling it was fastened in.
Your body subconsciously leans into his space, something you were usually mindful about. But he has been gone for a few days, leaving by himself along with Eagle sun and his horse.
Tumblr media
"Why can't I come?" Huffing, you're staring at the back of Noa's head, trying your best to not let the anxiety of him leaving overtake you.
"Too far, might be dangerous." Noa shook his head, moving to strap his spear onto the horse's saddle. He knew if he turned around and looked at you, he'd cave and bring you with.
Don't turn around. Don't turn around. Don't turn. He can't take you, he can't.
The warm hand on his back is enough to make a shudder, his shoulders tense as your small hand ever so gently pats at the fur there.
"...be safe." Your voice sounds small, and only then does he turn to you, taking you in.
"I will."
Tumblr media
It was weird being without him, you've grown so used to him being by your side.
You managed just fine despite what your brain would have you believe. You had taken on helping with the eagles in Noa's stead. Feeding, watering, making sure they come to roost at night and securing them.
It did little to keep your mind off of Noa, though. Just making you miss the chimp all the more.
If He had any issue with you in his personal space, it wasn't apparent, letting you cozy up to him.
Leaning a bit further, you peer at what's in his hands.
"Oh! You found a book?"
He hums at you, delicately cracking the small book open, careful with its worn pages to flip to the end where he found the weird name.
"What does-" He points a finger down at the word. "Sweet heart. Mean?"
"It's just an expression, a nickname." Picking up a berry to toss it in your mouth, chewing softly as you watch Noa compute your words.
"...nick..name?" He stutters over the word, raising an eye bridge.
"It's way to call your loved ones a special name. Sweetheart is one of them."
'Do you like it, being called that?' He signs, turning his body to you, taking in just how pretty you look in the fading sunlight, his eyes trained on your lips.
"Well, no one's ever called me any before, so I don't know."
You seem embarrassed, your body immediately going into defensive mode as you curl up.
Noa can change that, he thinks.
Tumblr media
You don't think anything of that conversation after a few days past, figuring it was just another one of Noa's questioning about humans.
It isn't until you're grooming the horses, scrubbing at their coat, and ensuring that they're clean that it gets brought up again.
"Sweetheart!" A loud voice all too familiar calls out, making you jump out of your skin and drop the brush in your hands.
Whirling around, you see that it's the Eagle Clan leader himself, making his way towards you with a smile on his lips, his bright eyes trained on yours and he has a extra carrier around his shoulder, no doubt for you.
"Noa?" You're trying your best to fight off the blush that rushes to your cheeks, but it's useless. Hopefully, he thinks it's due to the heat that you're flustered, god willing.
Tumblr media
This begins Noa's continuous use of the term. It replaces him calling your name at this point.
Sweetheart this, sweetheart that, for anything you do together, he makes sure to slip it in, loving how you react to it, that you immediately answer to him.
Anaya once tries to call you the nickname, knowing full well that Noa is flirting with you the best way he has learned how but gets shut down instantaneously, Noa playfully putting him in a headlock, huffing as he shakes his best friend.
"My Echo. Mine. Not. Yours."

Paul x GN! Reader
A/n: Guys, I'm down bad for this man😩
Word count: 1.1k
Warning: slight nsfw themes (minors dni), a lot of sexual tension, allusions to smut, but nothing too explicit, Paul being a delicious looking mf
Prompt: "Is that my shirt?"
One person wearing their lover's clothing with a little spin on it. ;)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hearing knocking on your window in the middle of the night wasn’t an unusual occurrence. It came with having a vampire for a boyfriend. So when the familiar noise interrupted your lazing-around-in-bed-staring-at-the-ceiling-listening-to-music-and-vibing session, you weren’t even surprised. Getting up, you strolled over to the window, and upon opening it, you were met with the grinning and blood covered face of your handsome lover.
“Boy, you are a messy eater,” you marveled at the sight. “Come on in, but watch the carpet.”
Paul climbed into your room, carefully navigating around to not smear any remnants of his dinner onto your stuff. His eyes took in your figure as you turned your back to him. His hungry gaze roamed over your bare legs, his stomach twisting in excitement as he caught a glimpse of your underwear peeking out from under the oversized T-shirt when you plopped back down on your bed.
“Cute pj’s, babe. Maybe I should come over more often if you greet me like this every time,” he smirked, wiggling his eyebrows.
“Maybe I will let you see more,” you flirted right back, positioning in a way that rid your shirt further back up, showing off more of what was underneath. It earned you an audible groan. “But only if you take a shower first. I’m sorry, Paulie, but you reek of death.”
He looked at you like a kicked puppy, lips pouting and everything.
“I don’t even get a greeting kiss?”
You rolled your eyes affectionately. “Fine, come here, you big dork.”
His beautiful face lit up as he almost pounced on you, only stopping because you held out your hands, barely avoiding a disaster.
“I swear to god, Paul, if you get blood all over the sheets you don’t get anything tonight.”
Your warning had an instant effect on him. Now being much more careful, he leaned forward, and you cupped his face between both hands as you pressed soft kisses on his lips. His hands made their way to your bare thighs, supporting his weight on them, fingers digging into your flesh. You let out a sigh as he licked your lower lip, allowing him entrance and deepening the kiss. You were practically panting by the time he finally drew back and let you breathe, his heated gaze boring into your own, before a cheeky grin made its way onto his face.
“You know, you could join me in the shower.” Your face flushed at the mental image, and you forced your thoughts to stop before they could run away with you.
“A tempting offer, but maybe another time,” you patted his cheek. “I have to take care of your clothes.”
He looked down at them, seemingly only now realizing what a mess they were. “Oh.”
“Go ahead, the bathroom is the second door to the right. Just leave your clothes outside on the floor,” you instructed. “There are towels under the sink, and you can use my shampoo.”
He turned back from your bedroom door.
“Then at least everyone will know I’m yours, if I smell like you.” He sent you a wink and disappeared down the hall, leaving you dumbstruck and beat red.
You pressed your hand to your cheek, feeling how hot you got. “Damn, you’ll be the death of me one day.”
When you heard the slamming of the bathroom door and the shower turning on, you made your way over there to pick up the bloody clothes lying on the floor. Through the sound of rushing water you could faintly make out a tune, realizing that Paul was humming a song from a band you introduced him to. You stood there and listened for a bit with an endearing smile on your lips, wondering how the hell you managed to score such an amazing guy. Humming soon turned into off-key singing, and you chuckled to yourself, finally deciding to get on with your task.
After chucking his clothes into the washer, you first cleaned up the blood he got all over your floor, a trail leading from your window to the puddle in front of your bathroom door. A quick glance in the mirror confirmed that there were smears on your skin as well, signs of your earlier makeout session. You made sure to thoroughly wipe those down too.
The washing machine just finished when you heard the bathroom door open and Paul making his way into your room. You put his stuff into the dryer, then went to see what he was up to. The sight that greeted you made you stop in the doorway, your breath caught in your lungs.
Paul stood next to your open closet, towel sinfully low around his waist, his clean, freshly dried hair cascading down his back in fluffy waves and sticking up at odd angles around his face. With hands on his hips and head adorably tilted, he seemed deep in contemplation as he surveyed your clothes, a few of them already lying discarded on the floor by his leg. But it was the realization of what he was wearing that made you bite your lip, unable to tear your gaze from the view.
“Is that my shirt?”
His head perked up at your voice, blue eyes locking with your own. One side of his mouth curled upward as he turned to you, letting you take in all of him. He was wearing one of your T-shirts, the fabric pulling tight around his shoulders and on his chest, the poor thing entirely too short to cover all of his torso, showing off the lower part of his stomach and the little happy trail leading down under the towel. You were practically salivating.
Your eyes met his and he chuckled at the look on your face.
“See something you like?” he asked with a cheeky grin.
Instead of answering, you strode over to him, grabbing the back of his neck and pulling him down into a hungry kiss. Your hands got lost in his hair, tugging lightly on the strands, making Paul moan into your mouth.
“You know, you’re not making it easy for me not to just eat you up when you’re such a snack,” you purred as you separated for some air.
“Who said I had any intention to stop you?” His husky tone made goosebumps rise up on your skin.
“Oh, you’re bad.”
“Only for you, babe.”
He giggled as you tackled him onto the bed, making fast work in ridding him of the towel, but leaving your shirt, not entirely ready to let go of such a sight yet. Needless to say, his wish about a shared shower was granted afterward.

A Dragon’s Loot
Alpha Dragon Hybrid Male x Omega Male Reader (CW: Non-con, breeding, biting, claiming, dragon man, inhuman genitals, a/b/o, knotting, overstimulation, musk/pheromones, kidnapping, general yandere behavior, ass eaten like it’s groceries, male reader) Word Count: 2.5k (I am so so so so sooooooo incredibly sorry that this took so long, it may not be my best work but I really did try. This was not beta read so please excuse any errors. This is for a trade with @reiyn02.)
The city you were living in had been almost entirely abandoned. It had walls, but was never made for a large siege, and those walls would be useless with enemies that were airborne anyway.. So the news that your town was next on the war path to be raided by the dragon hybrid forces sent everyone scrambling. But there was no help for those that had no family to help them and were otherwise too burdensome to relocate.  And included in that small category was yourself. You were a male omega going through an extremely rough heat, you were in a significant amount of pain without anyone to assist you and were simply too distracting to travel with others.  So instead of leaving among the guarded mass exodus you had boarded up your small abode the best that you could, using what little strength and willpower you had moving all your heaviest furniture to block the windows and door, before you tucked yourself away in a small hidden crawl space in the wall, behind the closet.  You had even lit candles, incense, and rubbed herbs all around the house earlier in the day to hide your scent as much as it could be hidden, and it was nearly undetectable to your sensitive omega nose. With a little luck you would go unnoticed by the monstrous drakes that wanted to loot and destroy everything in their path.    You had been waiting in your hiding space for several hours, you were burning up and your muscles ached from being so cramped for so long. You were beginning to let yourself believe that it had all been one giant false alarm, that the dragon men had decided to go back home or even raid another settlement instead.  But then you heard a series of thunderous crashes. Judging from the noise the dragons had decided to crash the walls despite them certainly not needing to. After the falling of the walls you could hear the cacophony of draconic roars and cheering, the splintering of wood and the crack of stone as they broke into homes, and the stomp of their mighty feet as they stampeded all through the city.  You had prayed that your meager building in a clearly poorer part of town would not draw attention, but you knew that was a long shot. And sure enough you soon heard stomps near your building before the sound of your door and makeshift barricade being brought down met your ears.  Then you could hear the sounds of someone going through all of your possessions, you doubted they would find anything of value, but they were meticulous. Slowly you heard them get closer until finally they were inspecting the room you were holed up in.  They searched every inch of the room and the closet but they did not find you. You burned with anxiety and your heat but it seemed like whoever the invader was was finally satisfied. You heard them head towards the door, finally you would be safe.  But the soldier caught a whiff of something just as he was heading out of the room. It was tantalizing and beckoned him to investigate further. He did not know what it was exactly, but it caused his cock to twitch a bit in his leather armor.  Dread filled your veins as you heard him sniffing the air and taking steps back towards the closet. You did your best to hold your breath and calm down, as panicked pheromones would serve only to make your scent more detectable.  But it was no use, once he caught the smell of a fearful omega in heat there was nothing to be done. He still was not consciously aware of what the smell was, but on some primal level he knew.  The draconic invader stuffed his head and upper body into the closet as his sniffing became louder and deeper. He tapped the wall with a claw and discovered it was hollow. It was over, he had found your crawl space. The false wall was easily moved aside as you frantically scooted as far back into the shadows as you could.  But the scent of your heat cycle was overwhelming to him now with the false wall removed, and even if your pheromones were not a dead give away dragon hybrids had excellent low light vision and with his head now peering into your hideout he could see you clearly.  A large claw tipped hand, covered in hard scales, reached in and easily plucked you right out. As you were unwillingly pulled into the light you got a look at the intruder for the first time.  He was huge, at least 9 feet tall, all hulking muscle under light leather armor which struggled to contain his vast, intimidating, form. And his large white scaled wings and tail only served to make him look even larger. Scales also covered both his hands and legs and both ended in claws as well. He had long white hair and sharp silver horns.  The dragon stared at you with cold icy blue eyes as you tried to struggle out of his grasp, clawing, biting, and thrashing wildly in every direction. You scratched his face and managed to draw some blood but he only responded by chuckling deeply as he grabbed your hand and used his long tongue to taste his bleeding claw mark.  “Hahaha, a feisty little omega aren’t ya!? This is the first house I get to pillage and I already found the best loot in the whole damn city!” He chuckled again before pressing his nose to your neck and inhaling deeply.  “Mmm~, all nice and in heat for me too. I bet you wanted to be found, everyone knows all dragon hybrids are alphas.”  What he said was true, the magic anomaly that first fused drake and man produced hybrids that were all 100 percent alphas, and when they managed to raid human settlements they always took an opportunity to snatch up omegas to breed. But you were left with no other option but to stay and hide.  The smell of your heat cycle was very compatible with him so it, combined with the excitement of the invasion and finding such a cute prize, was driving him into a frenzy. He simply could not wait to have you. He put you down in the nest you had made for yourself on the floor in the corner of the room and easily ripped apart your clothing as you thrashed and cried.  “Calm down baby boy, this will feel great I promise. My name is Draven by the way, just so you know who’s name you will need to moan when you are on my knot~ It’s okay if you can’t find the words to tell me what your name is right now, I can just learn it later.”  Tears were streaming down your face as you looked up and pleaded desperately, “No, please, no, no, no, please, take anything you want just pleas let me go!”  But as he expertly removed his armor and you saw as well as smelled his arousal you knew there was no chance to escape your imminent rape. Even so you continued your pleading sobs and covered your nakedness with a blanket, as if a mere piece of fabric could protect you from the muscular man towering before you.  Draven entered your nesting space, a severe violation to any omega, and easily took the blanket from you. You closed your legs tight and tried to smack him away but he just let out another chuckle.  “Sorry babe, but I need to appraise all of my new property don’t you think?”  And when you gave him the best kick you could right to his nose and caused the barest drop of blood to fall from his nostril it only encouraged him. He donned an excited grin and a deeply unsettling look in his eyes.  “Damn I struck the jackpot!!! Such a lively mate! I can tell we are going to make a ton of strong children together~”  You tried to kick him again, but he caught your ankle and held down your leg, then he held down the other before sliding both to your soft thighs. Draven then gently prodded your nuts with his nose and inhaled deeply. Your scent was divine to him. And he was now fully convinced you were his soulmate. You were in heat and left just for him to find, you were nice and lively and not overly submissive, and your scent was the best thing he had ever smelled.  But while he was losing himself in your pheromones you were nearly gagging on his. The overwhelming smell of an aroused draconic alpha so close to you would have made your eyes water had you not already been crying. It was far stronger than any human alpha you had met and you were not at all accustomed to such a stench, even if it did make you produce more slick. But you were in heat, so the smell of any aroused alpha would have done that.  “Please stop, I don’t want this. I don’t want this. Please…”  “Calm down, just enjoy it, you’re in heat and this will make you feel better if you just let it.”  Draven continued just enjoying your smell for what seemed like an eternity, with you powerless to push him away, but even after a perceived eternity it was nowhere near a long enough wait for what happened next. He spread your slick coated cheeks and licked your entrance free of delicious slick before eagerly slipping his large tongue in your ass.  You shuddered and moaned involuntarily, hands grasping at the bedding beneath you, as the thick muscle moved surprisingly deep inside you. Draven’s tongue was covered with a torrent of more and more of your juices as he continued.  When he finally withdrew himself from you you were a whimpering, drooling mess. You still wanted him to stop, but your body was definitely betraying you under all the stimulation, you were even starting to become less averse to his musk.  Draven kissed your hole tenderly a few times before repositioning the two of you so that he was on his knees and your ass was pointing up towards his long slimy draconic cock.  “Pl-please no…”, you barely managed to mumble coherently as you stared at the wall. Unable to look up and meet his intimidating gaze.  But once again what you wanted did not really matter. All that mattered was what both your bodies craved and the fact that he wanted to follow his urges and was strong enough to get what he wanted.  The dripping slick that was already once more seeping from your hole, combined with the deep massages provided by Draven’s talented tongue, allowed his prick to slide into you to the base effortlessly.  “Uh… uhhh~”, you couldn’t help but moan as he filled you up so completely, his cock felt even hotter than your insides and the texture of it was like it was custom designed for the sole purpose of pleasing little needy human omegas.  “Heh, not quite my name yet, but we’ll get you there soon enough~”  You really wanted to doubt what he was saying was true, but at the rate things were going you had to admit to yourself that he was probably right. You did not want to give him the satisfaction of hearing your pleasured cries of his name fall from your lips, but everything he was doing felt so amazing and you were losing yourself in your heat and the over stimulation of mating with such a strong and virile alpha.  Draven began greatly increasing the pace at which he was breeding his new cumpdump, his cock creating a faint outline in your belly each time he bottomed out within your slippery depths. Your pleasure induced writhing and squirming around his cock absolutely pushed him over the edge and his fat knot swelled inside of you as he pumped you full of cum.  He was not done yet though, he had not made you cum or heard the delicious sound of you moaning out for him.  While still stuck on his knot Draven picked you up and held you close, where you were much closer to his overpowering pheromones, and began fucking you all over again.  You felt his knot rub up against your insides as he sped up even more than before. He was desperate to hear you submit to him by moaning his name, then he would leave his permanent claim mark on you. The powerful alpha used one hand to hold you close as he began jerking off your dick.  The combination of being so enveloped in alpha scent, thoroughly fucked, and also receiving a handjob had you yearning for release. You began sobbing from the overwhelming mixture of sensations.  Instinctively seeking your climax you grinded into his hand as he bounced you on his knot.  “Dr-Draven!”, you finally called out as you came into his hand.  “See? That wasn’t so hard was it baby boy?” He lifted his hand up to his lips and licked your seed from his fingers before pressing his lips to yours, sliding his tongue in so that you tasted your own flavor on him.  You whimpered into the kiss before he broke it and licked and sucked your neck before biting down hard on the scent gland in your neck. In a mixture of pleasure and pain you let out a choked cry.  After he marked you he carefully pressed his lips to the wound and licked it clean before kissing your forehead softly.  “Such a perfect little mate for me~”  You wanted to claw at him again but you were so exhausted, and it would do you no good since you were still stuck on his knot. And by this point his smell was strangely comforting to you. Maybe it was a side effect of being marked or maybe it was a biological defense that omegas had when being mated so they did not succumb to depression, you didn’t know.  At any rate you figured you could scratch him up later, because as the pain in your freshly bitten neck subsided you became increasingly aware of just how tired you were. You allowed yourself to relax against his muscular chest and fall asleep in his arms as you let his pheromones and his gentle touches subdue you.  Draven held you close, he figured he would give you some sleep for a few hours before the raid was over and his kind returned to their homeland. He was sure you would love living with him, he would give you his knot every chance he got, keep you covered in lovely bite marks, and make sure you felt nice and safe in your new nest.  You were his prized possession, the crown jewel of his hoard, and just like any other item in the hoard of a territorial dragon, you would never leave.

You worked for a small Gotham 24-hour walk-in clinic. You always tried not to think too much about who was coming in and out. Some patients would stumble in, covered in blood and bruises, yet not have a scratch on them. Where did the blood come from? You never asked. You would treat whoever was assigned to you and then be on your merry way.
The clinic was closer to Crime Alley than anyone would have liked, but it settled for good service. Especially once the Red Hood started patrolling. Your very first day at the clinic had you stitching up five bullet wounds on the same patient. Your first patient of the day, at that, who had stumbled in at five in the morning. He was mumbling the whole time, swearing and cussing out Red Hood's entire legacy.
Over the months you had now worked there, bullet wounds were your most common injury. Followed by any kind of broken bone. Most of them babbled about the Red Hood, saying how he gotten them. You never asked any further, hoping to never poke your neck out to far in order to gain any attention.
You stood in the back, cleaning up one of the clinic rooms after having sent another probable criminal on their way with stitches and bandages. A crash rang out from the front, making you swivel your head.
You ran out to the lobby before freezing in your tracks. A robber stood at the prescription counter, gun in hand, pointed at the pharmacist. The shattered glass of the divider lay out on the floor around them, the pharmacist assistant cowering in fear as the robber yelled at her for certain drugs.
There weren't any patients in the waiting area. There were none left in the back. No other employee had been hurt. Only badly scared.
The robber hadn't see you yet. You were close to the reception desk. You inched sideways, trying not to make a sound or any sudden movement. There was a panic button under the desk that you could press, easily alerting the authorities. It was a clinic. They would prioritize you over all other petty Gotham crimes.
It was sad, but true.
The poor pharmacist assistant, Cindy, was slowly sorting out the drugs the robber was asking for, placing them in the bag he had thrown at her. She was trying to drag things out. That much you could tell.
You were behind the desk now, reaching for the button ever so slowly.
The automatic sliding front doors of the clinic opened. The robber changed his aim. Staring down the figure in the doorway.
Red Hood aimed his own gun, his shiny red helmet reflecting the florescent lights overhead.
Both of the shots rang out at the same time. Cindy screamed, dropping the bag of pills onto the floor.
Red Hood's shot landed true. Right between the eyes. The robber's had gone astray, but still managed to shoot through the out side of the Red Hood's leather sleeve, making him flinch back as a result.
You were frozen, hand hanging over the panic button. Did you press it? Or did you let the vigilante do his work?
You were still deciding as Red Hood walked over to Cindy, making sure she was alright. Two other nurses and another pharamacist ran out to help her. You watched as Red Hood stepped back, letting them take over.
He turned around, placing his gun back in his holster as he started to walk back out. He moved his hand to his arm, clamping his hand over it.
He walked past the reception desk.
"Wait," You said.
He paused and turned to look at you.
You nodded to his arm, "Let me stitch you up."
Surprisingly enough, he followed you into the back. He sat down on the cot you told him to. Took off his jacket when you said.
You found it awkward, standing in silence with the Red Hood. You decided to speak up as you started the first stitch, "So... you're the guy who makes my job a living hell?"
He turned his head to look at you, those white eyes of the helmet boring into you. You wished you could see some sort of facial expression of his.
When he spoke, his voice was modulated, "Did I not just save your clinic from a robbery? How is that a living hell?" There was a tone of sarcasm to it.
You smiled a little, "We get a lot of criminals coming in here post-fights. I've gotten pretty good at sewing up gunshot wounds that were your doing." You glance up at the helmet's eyes, "No offence."
"You fix up those assholes?"
"I fix up those human beings," You retaliate, finishing the last stitch. You step away, "I don't know them or their pasts. To me, they're innocent people that just need some healing."
You can see the confusion in his body language, his head turning down to ponder at how quickly you had stitched him up. He stayed quiet.
You turned away from him, gathering some bandages to wrap his arm up, "Though... I will say how most of them will rant to me about how much they hate you. More often than not admitting their own faults as they do."
Something like a chuckle filters through the modulator, "You know what? I hear the same stuff."
You can't help but laugh back. You bandage him up before nodding, "You're all set."
He nods in thanks, slipping his jacket back on. He extends his gloved hand for a shake, "What's your name?"
You give it to him, a little surprised at his firm yet gentle grip, "You may want to leave out the back door. I pressed our panic button before bringing you back here."
Red Hood nods in understanding, before walking out.
This would not be the last you saw of him. Because now he had a personal nurse.

The day after every visit of his, a bill comes in from Wayne Enterprises. You look at your colleague, "This guy is straight up stealing money from the rich to pay for his medical bills."
"As he should."
"Agreed."

Hey I’m not sure if your requests are open? but if not please ignore me 🥺 I was wondering if you could write about sleek back undercut hair black suit Rhea with Fem Reader. All of TJD go to a party and Fem Reader catches Rhea attention in her little black number and it’s like instant sexual tension. Fem reader is shy cuz she’s never been with a woman so Rhea takes the lead and they have a hot make out session in the corner of the club or private booth or something.. then they have a 1 night stand at the hotel or something like that. 😍
Thanks!!
P.S I love your stories so much. 😭💘

Reader's POV
After-parties were always more fun than the actual event. Case in point, when you meet the hottest woman you've ever seen and she's into you.
The actual event I'd been invited to was a WWE party one of my friends, a WWE superstar, had asked me to as a plus-one.
I linked arms with Naomi as we squeezed through the doorway, making our way into the crowded bar.
We giggled to each other as we ducked together, having to walk in tiny steps so as not to ride our short dresses up any further than they already were.
I stumbled slightly in my heels over the wood flooring, and Naomi had to catch me, now cackling at me all the while, "Girl, be careful before your whole cookie falls out."
The two of us shuffled our way to the bar, carefully avoiding damp and sticky portions of the bartop as we rested our arms atop it, waiting for the bartender.
I took a look around, scoping out the surroundings. It was mostly WWE superstars, with a few plus ones and even fewer average customers.
My heart seemed to skip a beat as my gaze landed on a goddess of a woman sitting at a booth in the back corner. She wore a stunningly flattering black suit and her short black hair was slicked back. Her makeup was a bit extravagant but it seemed to suit her perfectly.
Her eyes scanned the room as well, pausing on where her other three Judgment Day members danced together a few feet away from their booth. She took slow sips of her brandy, the condensation from the glass slipping down her wrist and dropping down where I wish I could watch.
Naomi's voice pulled me from my thoughts, my cheeks flushing as I turned back around and gave my order to the bartender. As soon as he walked away Naomi turned to me.
"Y/n, what was that?"
"What was what?" I feigned innocence, staring at the counter and playing with a straw to avoid her judging stare.
She grabbed my hands, stopping my fidgeting. "You know what. I know she's hot, but she's also not a good idea. You know how she is, especially with the rest of Judgment Day."
I nodded thoughtfully. Of course, I knew, but I wasn't actually going to do anything.
"I know, I'm going to stay away. However, while staying away, I can still look." I sent Naomi a joking look that sent us both into a fit of giggles.
Music pumped throughout the bar, a rainbow of colors flashing over the dancefloor, casting a myriad of colors over our faces.
A stolen glance towards the back of the bar had me sucking in my breath at the way the now perfectly purple light highlighted Rhea's sharp cheekbones.
Looking away before she could catch me, I turned back towards Naomi, who was dancing away in front of me. "Come on, girl."
She moved towards me and we danced together, close as can be.
Eventually, I peeled myself away from her to go grab another drink. "I'll be right back!"
Hopping up to the bar, I rested against the counter after waving the bartender down, waiting for my next drink.
The feeling of hands clamping down on either side of my waist and another body being pressed up behind me had my breath stopping and my heart quickening.
"Hi, sweetheart." A sultry Australian accent spoke into my ear, caressing it with her lips.
Rhea tugged on her earlobe with her teeth, sending waves of heat throughout my body.
"Rhea," I spoke, clearing my throat as my flaming cheeks betrayed me.
Just then, the bartender made his way back over, setting my drink down in front of me. "Did you want to add this to your tab?"
Before I could even open my mouth, Rhea responded for me. "You can just put it on mine."
He nodded and walked away, leaving the two of us alone.
Still holding my hips, Rhea gripped them harder and turned me around to face her.
My breath caught in my throat as I stared into her bright baby-blue eyes. She smirked at me, knowing the influence she had on me and the effects she was causing.
She slid her right hand up my body from my waist to my jawline, caressing my cheek with her thumb. She lined in, close enough for me to feel her breath against my lips.
"Do you really think I didn't see you watching me earlier?"
My blood ran cold as I shot my gaze back up to her eyes from her lips.
"It's okay sweetness, I like it when you watch me." She grinned as her hips pushed into me, pinning me against the bartop.
If she didn't stop I was going to have a heart attack.
She dropped her hand from my face and reached behind me to grab my drink.
Maintaining eye contact with me, she took a small sip of my drink, letting a drop fall down her lip.
"Let's go sit," She handed me my drink, which I numbly took from her, as she took my other hand in hers and guided me back to her booth.
I looked around the bar on the way back there for Naomi but she was nowhere to be found. I breathed a small sigh of relief at her absence. She couldn't make me feel bad about being with Rhea if she wasn't here to see me with Rhea.
Rhea sat down on the edge of the booth, pulling me forward to stand between her knees. She grabbed my other hand and tugged me towards her but I was too nervous to get too close voluntarily.
She quirked an eyebrow at me as she gently tugged me towards her again. "Come sit."
I tried to pull my hands away but she wouldn't loosen her grip. I licked my lips in nervousness, avoiding her eyes. "I, um. I've never done anything like this with a woman before." My cheeks burned with embarrassment and self-doubt.
"Don't worry, sweetness. I'll walk you through it, yeah?" She brought her right hand back up to my face, cupping my jaw as she stroked my cheek with her thumb.
I nodded eagerly. I wanted to do whatever she wanted me to, I was just really nervous and kind of out of my element.
She grinned up at me and spread her knees apart even further, tugging me down to sit on her thigh with my legs in between hers.
Sitting on her plush thigh, I could feel the slightly scratchy material of her pants on my upper thighs with the way my already short dress rode up on me when I sat.
Distracted, she managed to slip my drink out of my hand and put it on the table next to us between a few other empty glasses.
The hand previously holding mine moved to wrap around my waist, stroking the top of my thigh, while her other hand stayed caressing my face.
I wrapped an arm around her shoulders to steady myself, clutching the hem of my dress awkwardly with the other.
Locking eyes with her, she pulled me close, her lips locking with mine. Heat spread throughout my body as my body instinctually moved closer, leaving as little space between us as possible.
Deciding to listen to my instincts, I let go of my dress and bring it to her face. I tucked her hair behind her ear, not wanting anything in my way of her lips.
Her lips grinned against mine when she felt my touch on her hair. She removed her arm from around my waist, laying it at the top of my opposite leg making slow strokes up the length of my thigh, barely stopping once she reached the hem of my dress.
Her thumb began snaking its way under my dress, the rest of her hand following suit causing me to gasp and pull away.
The grin on her face at my reactions was like an addiction, I wanted nothing more than for her to continue grinning at me like that forever. And I'd do anything she asked of me to make that happen.
"Let's take this elsewhere, yeah?" She slapped my ass, making me jump at the unexpected touch. I stood up, self-conscious of the amount of liquid currently between my legs with the sheer amount of people around us.
Rhea gently pushed my thigh, moving me out of her way as she stood up. "I'm gonna go close our tabs, I'll be right back, okay? Don't go anywhere." She leaned in, leaning her hands on my hips, and bit at my lip before leaving me alone and speechless at the back of this nightclub.
My eyes wandered around the bar as I waited for Rhea to come back, seeing Naomi frantically looking around. I could tell she was searching for me and I began to shove my way through the crowd to her.
Luckily she wasn't too far away and saw me coming, pulling me into a crushing hug as soon as I was within arm's length.
As soon as we pulled away from each other, she was slapping my arm in frustration. "What the hell, y/n? You said you'd be right back and then I never saw you again!"
She held my forearms, presumably so I wouldn't run away again but I had no idea what to tell her. I knew Rhea was a bad idea, but she just felt so good.
"I-" Before I could even begin forming some kind of excuse I was cut off by the same voice from before.
"She was with me."
I turned around to see Rhea hovering over my shoulder with an impatient and irritated smirk plastered on her face.
"Can I talk to Y/n for a second? Alone?" Naomi asked Rhea, pulling me away from her without actually receiving a response.
She pulled me into a secluded corner, shielded from wandering eyes, including Rheas. "What are you doing? I thought we talked about this?"
Avoiding her disappointed gaze I shrugged, looking anywhere but at her. "I know, but..she came up to me first. And just one night can't hurt right?"
At that, she softened a bit. She knew my dating history wasn't great and I knew she just wanted the best for me.
"Look, you're an adult, and I trust you to make your own decisions. Just be careful okay? I love you too much to see you in pain over someone else."
I finally met her eyes, seeing the concern that I had heard in her voice and already knew was there. "I will I swear. It's just..." I contemplated my words. "She makes me feel fuzzy." I gushed like a teenager.
She pulled me in for a tight hug. "That's great Y/n. Just be safe and stay with her, don't try and leave the hotel by yourself and I'll see you tomorrow."
I hugged her back just as tight, giving her a small 'thank you' before pulling away and making my way back towards Rhea.
She straightened up from where she leaned against a pillar when she saw me, taking a couple of steps towards me to close the distance. "You ready, sweetheart?"
My breath was instantly stolen away from me again and I wound up just staring at her dumbly until she laughed and grabbed my hand, just pulling me out of the club.
The chilly night air had goosebumps pickling my flesh as we made our way to where she had parked her car.
Situating myself into the passenger seat I made myself comfortable, turning up the heat and turning on the seat warmers. I refrained from changing the music, knowing Rhea might've had a fit if I did.
She drove with one hand on the wheel, clutching the top of my thigh possessively with the other. Her jaw was clenched as we drove in a tense silence.
Parking towards the back of the hotel, we got out of the rental and made our way to the side door. Rhea swiped her key and held the door open for me, ushering me inside and to the elevator.
As soon as I was inside the elevator and turned back around to face Rhea, I was being pushed up against the back wall.
Her hands held my hips against the wall as her thigh slid in between mine. Her lips slid to my jawline, whispering kisses across my skin.
The elevator ride was short, only a minute or so. But a full minute of Rhea laying kiss after kiss, biting, and then immediately kissing the pain away all over my neck and jaw had my knees weak and panties soaked.
When the elevator came to a stop, seconds before the door opened, Rhea finally pulled away from me, pulling a frustrated moan out of my throat all the while.
She gave me a shit-eating grin and just grabbed my hand again, dragging me past the bewildered-looking couple waiting to get on the elevator.
Stopping down the hall at her hotel door, she refused to acknowledge me until we were inside the room with the door closed behind us.
She grabbed my wrist and, once again, dragged me further into the room, tossing me onto the bed as if I weighed nothing.
I stared up at her from where she watched me. Specifically, the spot where my dress had ridden up on my thigh exposing most of my tiny black underwear.
Not removing her eyes from between my legs, she licked her lips, seemingly knocking herself out of it to reach behind her and grab the desk chair, rolling it to the edge of the bed and taking a seat.
"Take off your panties." She demanded, leaning back in the chair and folding her hands together as she trailed her gaze up my body, landing on the beauty marks she'd left.
Not wanting to accidentally upset her, I silently slipped off my heels, chucking them to the side of the bed haphazardly but slowed down when I got to my underwear.
I slipped my thumbs under the waistband, slowly bringing them down. Lifting my hips to get them over and then pulling them all the way off. I dropped them at the foot of the bed, figuring if she had wanted me to do something with them specifically she would've told me.
"Now take the dress off." She commanded me.
I immediately set to, reaching behind me to undo the zipper. Except I then remembered that I had help getting the dress on in the first place because I couldn't reach it.
Looking up at Rhea, I saw her hard-set eyes, my cheeks beginning to flush with embarrassment knowing I would need her help.
"Can you help me?" I ducked my head and got up on my knees, turning around for her to reach the zipper.
She let out a small laugh before reaching forward and pulling it down, pushing the shoulder straps off my shoulders.
Her fingers ghosted over my skin as she pushed my dress down my arms, sliding the fabric over my hips, bunching it up at my waist. I had never been more thankful to not be wearing a bra or nipple covers than now when Rhea reached around and started toying with both of my nipples.
Rolling them in between her fingers and occasionally grasping my whole breast with her hand, kneading it however she liked.
She stopped me from turning around by laying a hand at the base of my back and going back to running her hands up and down my body.
I felt her lips on the top of my back, right in the middle of my shoulder blades making me shiver.
I could feel her growing smile against me as she took her time laying kiss after kiss all over my back. Every square inch was kissed or licked, as she just did as she pleased to me, pulling small whimpers and moans from me.
When she finally pulled away, my back arched involuntarily as the cold air hit the lingering saliva sending goosebumps across my whole body.
"Turn around, love." Rhea's sultry voice instructed me.
Twisting my body around, I maneuvered around on my knees to face Rhea, standing on the floor but leaning towards me, with her hands on the mattress right in front of me to support herself.
She looked me up and down, seemingly contemplating what she wanted me to do. Grabbing the dress where it lay on my waist, she began to tug it down, indicating she wanted it off.
I laid back on the bed again to remove it, my eyes never leaving Rhea's face, while hers never left the dress.
As soon as the dress was on the floor, Rhea was on the bed hovering over me. She laid her hands on either side of my head, effectively caging me in.
My breath stilled as I looked up at her menacing grin. She slowly backed up, her feet landing on the floor with a carpeted thud. She kept going 'til she was kneeling on the floor, and I could feel her breathe on my inner knees.
"You're a little far away, aren't you darling?" Without any real warning, she grabbed the backs of my calves and pulled me forward so that my legs dangled off the bed but my pussy was mere inches away from her.
Gripping the bedsheets with anxiety, I looked down at her. Her gaze softened a bit when she noticed just how unconfident and nervous I was.
"Is this okay?" She rubbed circles on my leg as she questioned me, furrowing her brows when I just nodded in response.
She shook her head at me, "I need words, sweetness."
My cheeks flared again, "Yes."
"Yes, what?"
I took a deep breath. "Yes, Mami."
"Good girl," She smirked. "Your safeword's riptide."
Before I could even blink she had thrown herself forward, laying her lips on my clit, eliciting a moan from me immediately.
Her tongue came out and swirled around my clit, her piercing just cold enough to enhance the shocking sensations I was feeling.
She kept her tongue on my clit as she inserted one of her fingers into me. I writhed against her, grinding against her face for a chance of any kind of extra friction.
Another finger was inserted and she began to speed up her pace, thrusting into me with her fingers as her tongue massaged my clit.
My legs began to tremble with each thrust, harder and harder. Faster and faster.
"Mami! I'm gonna come!"
She seemed to give me the go-ahead when she kept going, upping the severity of each thrust.
With a loud cry of her name on my lips, I came hard.
She kept fingering me, helping me ride out my high while she pulled her mouth away. Once I had stopped trembling so much she removed her fingers and went back in with her mouth, lapping up all my cum with her tongue.
I panted heavily, my thighs clenched tight around her head as she happily went to town cleaning me up.
Once she was satisfied, she looked up at me. "I know this is your first time with a woman but, we usually go for a while." She grinned wickedly at me, "You think you're up for it?"

Flames and Embers - Cassian x Vanserra!Reader (slow burn)
Summary: As Beron's sixth child, and only daughter, you had spent your whole life being overlooked and under utilitised. It wasn't until Amarantha's reign that your talents were truly recognised for what they were - too bad you were forced to make a bargain to keep them secret
A/N: Hi! This started out as a request I received the other week but then turned into something completely different and so far from the original request that it’s now getting it’s own multi-part story
This will eventually become a Cassian x Reader fic with a bit of angst, fluff, slow burn, enemies-to-lovers, and all the other fun tropes we know and love!
Enjoy 🥰
Word Count: 3k
Being the only daughter of the Autumn Court’s High Lord, alongside having seven brothers to compete with, you had been overlooked for most of your life which was just fine by you.
You had used the cover of being just a female in an archaic court to your advantage and took the time to observe and learn whatever you could. After being forced to witness how your brothers treated Lucien, you had always tried to have his back, which only went so far when any show of defiance from you was met with a beating. When Lucien had been forced out of your home, you had been heartbroken it had come to it but also happy that your youngest brother could finally become his own person and escape the cruelty that had followed him around his whole life.
Eris had always tried to keep an eye on you. He wouldn’t give up the façade in front of the others, however, he would find the time whenever he could to take you out riding into a long-forgotten part of the woods where he would teach you how to fight. The day you landed him on his ass had been one of his proudest moments, but that didn’t stop him from upping the pressure, forcing you to become stronger and more tactful in each step. Knowing that you could easily take on the rest of your brothers is what kept you from lashing out at their comments and actions towards you; with Lucien gone, you had become their next punching bag to which your father turned a blind eye.
Then Amarantha showed up and everything was turned on its head.
It was in no way a pleasant 50 years, however, you managed to stay out of harm’s way, no doubt at the hands of Eris' doing, and managed to avoid most of the horrors that occurred. However, once the human girl, Feyre, had arrived, you made yourself more present in the ongoings of Amarantha’s court, unable to leave the girl fully alone and fending for herself. Your need to help her was further spurred on upon realising that Lucien appeared to be her friend.
Lucien. The thought that your brother, the one who had managed to escape the past 50 years of torment, was now here as well had you feeling as though you had somehow let him down, even though it was completely out of your control. You hadn’t been present the first time Tamlin had sent Lucien to seek out Amarantha, the time when she had so viciously carved out his eye that even some of your brothers seemed somewhat affronted. However, you were there now. You had watched on in horror as Lucien defended Feyre, and then the 20 lashes Tamlin was forced to give after he helped with the first task…
Once Lucien had been allowed to retreat to his room, you had spent the next hour finding out as much as you could about Amarantha's plans for Feyre and your brother. With healing supplies in hand, you ventured into the sprawling court to where you had been told Lucien resided. With a quiet knock on his door, you entered the room and felt your heart break at the shaken, broken form of your brother. Despite the clear pain he was in, he had leapt off the bed at the sight of you and was quick to pull you into a tight embrace.
“Y/N,” He had exclaimed, carefully surveying you for any signs of injury. “Are you alright? What’s happened? Cauldron, I’ve missed you.” Then he was pulling you into another hug that left you in tears.
When was the last time you had seen him? It had been decades.
“I’m fine,” You brushed him off and made him sit so you could assess his injuries. “You look like you’ve seen better days.” He made a non-committal sound in response, taking in a deep breath at the sting of the healing balm you helped spread across his back. You pushed onto your heels, assessing the damage and your makeshift attempt of bandaging the wounds.
“What can I do?” You asked, feeling just as helpless as you did when growing up.
“Check in on Feyre. Please. I can’t…I can’t do anything, not now. And whatever game Tamlin is playing, he won’t go see her. Please. She’s all alone.” You hesitated for a moment but found yourself nodding.
“Of course. Of course I’ll go and see her.” You lowered your voice, not trusting that anywhere in this place was truly safe. “Does she truly love him?” If she did, then you all had a chance of getting out.
“She does.” Lucien answered, a small smile tugging on his lips.
“Anything else, let me know, alright? I’ll go and check on her.” You gave your brother a final hug and then slipped from the room, making your way towards the dungeons.
*****
“Feyre?” You whispered into the darkness, the guards were in the middle of their rotation, so you had few valuable minutes to slip in and out undetected, the limited healing supplies and food you managed to take with you were clutched tightly into the folds of your dress.
An incoherent groan sounded from further down the dark, cage-lined corridor. You hurried over, halting in your steps when you saw her sitting against the wall still covered in blood and mud, a pained expression on her weary face.
“Feyre? I’m Y/N. I’m Lucien’s sister, he asked me to check on you, see how you were holding up.” You tried to stay optimistic but the wound on her arms was nothing that you could fix. Maybe before Amarantha stifled everyone’s magic you would stand a chance, but not now when all you could offer were some clean rags, a bit of water and a scrap of bread.
You knelt on the floor in front of her cell, unable to get in without your magic or access to the key.
“I know it hurts, but are you able to move a bit closer, I can’t help you from here.” You cringed as you watched Feyre grit her teeth, slowly moving across the floor, pain evident on her face.
“Y/N?” She asked in a strained voice, you nodded with a small smile, passing her the bread which she quickly bit into. “Lucien told me about you. Said that you were here.”
“I don’t have long, here, give me your arm I’ll do my best to clean it but there’s not much else I can do. At least not right now.” You wiped away the blood and muck that lingered from the first task, trying not to grimace as you took in the severity of the wound. The sound of movement spurred you on, quickly ushering her to drink the water and finish the bread so you could leave before getting caught.
“I’ll try to get back here soon, okay?” Feyre was already making her way back towards the rear wall where she slumped against it. You were almost out when a small voice called out.
“Y/N? Thank you.”
*****
Managing to obtain some of the healing balm that you had used on Lucien's injuries, you kept to the shadows as you made your way back down to the dungeons.
You had been keeping an ear out for what Amarantha’s plans were for the girl; if she planned on healing her before the next task or leaving her in the dark cell to fend for herself. Either way, you couldn’t be too obvious in your efforts to help, lest you get caught and wind up dead for the blatant disregard of Amarantha's orders.
The sound of voices had you slowing in your steps as you overhead the back end of a conversation. Someone was in Feyre’s cell with her.
“Oh, that’s wonderfully gruesome.” You recognised that voice, but surely it wasn’t…
Feyre swore at the male, earning her a chuckle as he taunted, “Such words from a lady.”
You edged closer to the cell, unsure what your next move would be from here but still unwilling to leave her to fend for herself against Rhysand.
“Get out,” Feyre’s voice was frail as she tried to show her strength against the High Lord.
“Don’t you want me to heal your arm? Or is that what Y/N Vanserra is here to do? I know you’re there, Y/N.” His voice called out to you now.
Shit.
You approached the cell; it was too late to turn back. Your best chance was to play along with his games, there was not point in running, not when he knew you were there and that it clearly wasn’t your first visit.
“Hmm, wiping away the grime was a valiant effort, and what’s this you have?” The healing balm disappeared from your grasp, reappearing moments later in Rhysand’s hand. “Well, that’s not going to do much against the infection and broken bones.”
Rhysand turned back to face Feyre, “But how about a trade? I’ll heal your arm in exchange for you. Two weeks every month, two weeks of my choosing, you’ll live with me at the Night Court. Starting after this messy three-trials business.” You desperately shook your head, trying to tell her he couldn’t be trusted.
“No.”
“No? Really?”
“Get out.”
“You’d turn down my offer – and for what? A fool’s chance that this healing balm will work? Or are you holding out for your friend – for Lucien, correct? After all, he healed you before, didn’t he? Then convinced his dear sister Y/N to come down to tend to you after the first trial.”
Now Rhysand turned to face you, giving you a look that had you thinking he could see your every thought, which, you remembered with dread, he probably could. You had never been taught how exactly mental shields worked but you did your best to block him out. It clearly wasn’t enough judging from the chuckle and assessing look he gave you before facing Feyre again.
“The way I see things Feyre, you have two options. The first, and the smartest, would be to accept my offer.” Your eyes widened in anticipation as Feyre spat at his feet, but Rhysand continued pacing the length of the cell.
“The second option – and the one only a fool would take – would be for you to refuse my offer and place your life, and thus Tamlin’s, in the hands of chance.”
Rhysand had stopped pacing, staring hard at Feyre who had turned white as a sheet and looked as thought she may pass out at any moment.
“Let’s say I walk out of here. Perhaps this healing balm will work,” He tossed it back to you, desperate in your attempt to grab it before it could shatter to the floor. “Perhaps Lucien will come to your aid and offer his magic. Or perhaps he won’t come at all. Between you and me, he’s been keeping a low profile after his rather embarrassing outburst at your trial. Amarantha’s not exactly pleased with him. Tamlin even broke his delightful brooding to beg for him to be spared – such a noble warrior, your High Lord. She listened, of course – but only after she made Tamlin bestow Lucien’s punishment. Twenty lashes.”
Feyre started shaking, eyes darting up to you in confirmation and what looked like betrayal. You hadn’t told her about the lashes.
“Although, from what I heard, the punishment wasn’t overly effective seeing that the wounds somehow healed over within a few hours without the assistance of magic. You would almost think that something like that healing balm you've got there, Y/N, was used despite Amarantha’s order that there was to be no assistance provided.” Rhysand tutted as he turned to you with a smile that made your stomach coil but said no more on the matter.
“So, Feyre, it’s really a question of how much you’re willing to risk it. I don’t need to invade your thoughts to know that you’re wondering if that fever of yours is the first sign of infection. I already know that you’ve slowly been realising that you’re dying.” There was a beat of silence in which Feyre stared back at him with such hatred, you felt your pulse quicken at the thought that it may be too late to help.
“Well?”
“Go. To. Hell.”
Before you could react, Rhysand lashed out and twisted Feyre’s arm, her scream echoing throughout the cell as she thrashed against him. But he kept his grip, twisting the bone a final time before releasing her arm as she half sobbed and panted through the pain.
“This is the last time I’ll extend my assistance. Once I leave this cell, my offer is dead.” Feyre spat at him again but remained silent.
With a disappointed sigh, Rhysand began to ripple with darkness. You weren’t sure what to think; you couldn’t trust him but if Feyre really was dying and this was her only chance of survival…
“Wait.”
The darkness around the High Lord vanished, solidly appearing again with a grin as he faced Feyre.
“Yes?”
“Just two weeks?”
“Just two weeks. Two teensy, tiny weeks with me every month is all I ask.” He was kneeling in front of her now as he purred out his terms. As if suddenly aware of how much time you had already spent down here, your senses picked up, listening closely for any sounds of the returning guards, but there was nothing.
A surge of magic had you turning to face the cell just as Rhysand grabbed Feyre’s arm. She let out a scream before fainting, head falling against the wall.
“What did you do?” You yelled, banging on the bars of the cell in a futile attempt to get in.
“Exactly what we bargained for. Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about you, Vanserra.” Before you could process his words, Feyre was suddenly sitting up, with the blood and mud completely gone you could do nothing but watch as some colour finally returned to her cheeks. Letting out a sign you offered her a small smile, at least he had kept his word and healed her arm. The remainder of the bargain was something to think about later when you all got out of this mess. If you all got out of this mess.
“What have you done to me?” Only then did you notice the black swirls that covered her skin and the large eye tattooed in the centre of her palm.
“It’s custom in my court for bargains to be permanently marked upon flesh.”
“Make it go away.”
“You humans truly are grateful creatures, aren’t you?” Rhysand stood back up, darkness wafting around him again. “I think I’ll wait to tell Tamlin about our little bargain. I do wonder if he will be as appreciative as you are. Rest up, Feyre.” And then he was gone in a shadow of night.
“Feyre? Are you alright?” You knelt on the floor outside the cage, surveying her for any signs of potential harm caused by Rhysand, but she just looked tired, troubled.
“I’m fine. My arm is fine. I just feel stupid, he didn’t do that to help me, he did it to hurt Tamlin.”
You let out a sigh, “We’ll deal with that later, alright? At least you’re not about to die, so we will take that as a win.” Standing back up you surveyed her again; she was so young and had already faced so much more than most of the fae here. “I’ve been here too long, I need to go before the guards return. But, Feyre, I’ll be back. I promise.”
*****
You slipped out of the dungeons and hurried down the corridor, quickly ducking behind a corner at the sound of the guards returning.
“Hello, Y/N.”
You jumped at his voice, heart hammering in your chest as you turned to face Rhysand where he casually leant against the wall, picking at his jacket as he surveyed you with mild interest.
“I was starting to wonder about what you had been getting up to after all these years here. We never see you at any of our Lady’s…festivities.”
“I must have missed the invite.” You tried to step around him. You had gone this long without piquing the interest of any of Amarantha’s cronies, managing to stay relatively to yourself, and you’d be damned if you were forced to show your face now.
“Interesting,” His violet eyes continued to assess you. “You know, it doesn’t surprise me really. I remember back when we were just children, playing court whilst forced to join in on the formalities. You always managed to remain in the shadows, yet even back then, you somehow knew everything and got away with so much.”
You stared back, eyes narrowing as you waited for him to continue. He clearly had some angle he was getting at.
“Yes. Those particular skills may be useful to me one day. And while I’m in such a giving mood, how about a bargain of our own? You be my eyes and ears,” You scoffed, already shaking your head as you attempted to walk away again. “And in return, I’ll keep your role in all of this quiet. You wouldn’t want Amarantha to know that it was you who helped Lucien, and now Feyre, would you? After all, I’m sure she would be pleased to be reminded of your presence in her court.”
Glaring at him, you knew he had you cornered. The satisfied smirk that played on his face told you that he knew as well.
With a reluctant sigh you stretched out your hand which he firmly grasped.
“Fine.”
“Lovely.”
You refused to break eye contact with the High Lord as you felt his magic encase your upper arm and shoulder, no doubt leaving a similarly intricate pattern to the one now splayed across Feyre’s arm.
You looked down to see if there was any visible evidence of the bargain, but it was completely covered by your dress. Good. At least that would stop any questions from being asked.
“I’ll be seeing you around, Y/N.” And then he was gone in another shadow of darkness.

Bad PR-Jordan Li Fic
A/N: I saw someone post about needing a fic about Jordan being in a relationship where they're "unmarketable" and haven't been able to get the idea out of my head since. This is written with a black reader in mind. I also have a sequel in mind if anyone wants it.
Word Count: 3739
Warnings: Some sensuality and swearing.
I don't claim to own any characters or property from Gen V or The Boys. All credit to the original gif creators.

Silence was something that I always thought I longed for. Every day for the past twenty years, there was noise, whether it was someone (usually multiple) talking, music blasting, cars going by, or screaming. By now, I thought I would have learned how to tune it out and focus on what was most important: save the little kids from a burning school, study as hard as I could to get into GOD U, and manipulate social media algorithms so much it would make tech experts’ heads spin.
But, I hadn’t. Then, I thought I got used to the noise, the demands to take pictures with total strangers, the background noise of a song I was doing a TikTok challenge to, Liza, my Vought-assigned PR rep, and my parents insisting on what I should wear, and the constant buzzing in the back of my head that my ability caused. However, as I laid on Jordan’s bed, listening to them ramble about Brink, I didn’t mind the noise so much.
“I mean, he’s kind of a mad genius but for good,” Jordan stated. Then, they turned to me with a sheepish smile on their face. “Sorry, I’m boring you, aren’t I?”
I shook my head. “No, no, it’s alright. Brink’s brilliant and it’s amazing that you’re his mentee.” I pushed myself up onto my elbows. “Besides, you’re pretty cute when you’re excited.”
Jordan rolled their eyes and slowly made their way towards me, stopping right at the foot of their bed. “Only when I’m excited?”
“Shut up, you know you always look good,” I teased.
They playfully flipped their hair and batted their eyes. “Well, we can’t all have a glam squad on call so I appreciate it.”
I scoffed, rose to my knees, and playfully pushed their shoulder only for them to switch to their masculine form and grab my hand. “That’s not fair and I didn’t even ask for them, my parents and Liza insisted on it when I got in.”
Jordan nodded but I could tell they weren’t listening since their eyes were on my lips. “I don’t feel like talking anymore.”
Something about their deeper masculine voice sent tingles down my spine and made my stomach feel fuzzy. Then again, they easily caused the same effect in both forms. My breath caught in my throat as soon as our lips touched, and I could feel my heart rate pick up. I tried to relax in their gentle but firm grip as I wrapped my hands around their neck, but it was easier said than done.
Suddenly, my back was against their bed and the kissing got more fervent. Jordan slipped their tongue down my throat and trailed one of their hands down my leg. I shivered as they pulled my leg up around their hip and pressed further into me.
“I should’ve known this is what you meant when you said you wanted to hang out,” I breathed after pulling away for a second.
“I had good intentions but you kept screwing me with your eyes,” Jordan huffed back.
“No, I---” Jordan cut me off, switching to their feminine form and kissing my jaw, working their way down my neck. “Not…fair.”
One of their hands slowly started trailing up under my (their) sweatshirt and I tried to stifle my giggles at the soft touch. After a couple of seconds, I couldn’t help but start giggling and covered my face when Jordan paused their actions and looked up at me.
   “Still ticklish?” Jordan teased.
“Shut up, it’s your fault since they're your hands,” I groaned through another laugh.
Jordan smirked at me and ran their hands down my waist, gently tapping my sides, causing more laughter on my end. I tried to reach for their hands to stop them but they were too good at dodging me. At some point during my laughter, my phone started ringing.
“Ignore it,” Jordan whined as they pressed their head against my stomach, their big brown eyes somehow looking bigger and browner than usual.
“I can’t,” I whined back as I pulled away from them and grabbed my phone from my desk. “It’s Liza, I have to answer.”
Jordan rolled their eyes. “That bitch has the worst timing.”
“She might not be able to help it.” I quickly answered the phone. “Hey, Liza.”
“Y/N, I’m on campus and we need to talk ASAP. Meet me outside the Crimefighting building in five,” Liza rattled off.
“Oh, sure, what’s it about?” I asked.
“I’ll tell you when I see you.”
She clicked off and I turned to Jordan, who was much less than pleased.
“Let me guess, you have to go,” they said.
“I’m sorry, it sounded important,” I said as I started grabbing my stuff from around their room. “I’ll try to make it quick.”
“No, don’t worry about it.” They pushed themselves off the bed and stood in front of me, gently grabbing my hands in theirs. “It’s your career and I’m proud of you. I knew what I was getting into when the Cyclone became my girlfriend.”
I wrinkled my nose. “Ugh, don’t say it like that. But I appreciate you and I will show you as much later.” I quickly kissed them and grabbed my shoes. Just as I was about to leave, I paused at something in their closet. “Is that my jacket?”
Jordan shook their head. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
I snatched the item from the closet and held it out. “Jordan, you’re going to try to convince me that you’re into vintage Yves Saint Laurent?”
“Your taste rubbed off on me,” they said with a shrug.
“I’m flattered.” I put it back in their closet.
“By the way, do you know where my black hoodie went?”
       “See you later!”
About four and a half minutes later, I was sitting at an outdoor table with Liza and my parents. Despite the summer heat, Liza was wearing a navy skirt suit, and her graying black hair was tied into a severe bun on the top of her head. She was typing on two different phones and her laptop simultaneously, deep blue eyes never staying on anything too long. My mom, who sat on my right, smiled kindly.
“So, Y/N, how does it feel to be a junior?” she asked.
“Great, Mom. I thought I told you and Dad that you didn’t have to hover this much since I am a junior now,” I said, glancing at my dad who was on my other side.
“We’re not hovering, it’s been two days since we dropped you off,” Dad insisted. “Besides, this is about business.”
          “Wha---”
“Oh my gosh, is that Y/N Y/L/N?” Someone squealed behind me.
          “Show time,” I sighed.
The “someone” was actually two someones, a pair of what looked like freshmen. One was a tall, pretty brunette in a white graphic tee and matching mini skirt and the other was an equally pretty, slightly shorter brunette wearing jean shorts and Vans. The taller one held her V-Phone with a death grip.
“Can we take a picture with you?” The taller one asked.
“Of course.” I stood from my seat and made my way over to them.
“I can take it.” But before my mom could stand, Liza shot up from her seat, grabbed the phone, and ushered us closer together.
“Okay, Y/N in the middle, Tall Girl on the left, Short One on the right,” Liza instructed, eyes never looking up from the camera.
“It’s Ashley,” the short one said.
          “Smile!”
I did as I was told and the girls were walking away before I could even say an obligatory, “No problem.”
Both my parents smiled as I sat back down.
“It’s great to see that you’re still popular after all this time,” Dad said, his eyes hidden behind his tinted sunglasses.
“As she should be. Y/N has thirty million followers across all her social media and she does amazing in the Midwest and the South, both tough demographics for young black women,” Liza stated.
“Thanks, Liza,” I said, mindlessly playing with the ends of my butterfly locs. “So, you mentioned you were coming but left out my parents.”
At this, Liza finally paused from typing and looked up at me. She slowly set her elbows on the table and rested her chin on top of her pale hands. My head involuntarily started shaking from side to side and Liza lifted one of her hands.
“Let me speak first, Y/N, and then we can argue about it,” Liza stated.
“The last time you said that, I ended up almost getting mauled by a dog during an animal shelter livestream,” I hissed.
“Well, the dog had a serious history of trauma,” Liza insisted.
“You didn’t inform me of that before insisting I cuddle with it for the camera!”
“It was a learning lesson: you are fantastic under pressure.”
I huffed and folded my arms over my chest. “So, what is this about?”
Liza assumed her previous “Serious business” pose. “Like I was saying, you’re doing fantastic numbers. That last TikTok you and Cate did hit a hundred million views in less than twenty-four hours.”
“The ‘Rover’ challenge wasn’t that hard,” I commented.
             “That’s amazing!” Mom practically cheered.
“That’s my girl,” Dad said, wrapping his arm around my shoulders.
I smiled despite the strong sense that a “but” was coming.
             “However,” Liza continued.
              Uh oh.
“My job is to do everything in my power to make sure everyone associates Y/N Y/L/N and Cyclone with beauty, intelligence, grace, taste, and power. So, we are a little concerned about Jordan.”
Immediately, my shoulders tensed and I gritted my teeth. “Who exactly is ‘we’?” I glanced at my parents.
Mom’s eyes widened and I had no idea what Dad was doing.
“No, of course not, Sweetie, we love Jordan. They have been a fantastic influence on you,” Mom insisted.
I could feel my face warm up about what had transpired with Jordan a few minutes ago. I doubt that would fall under “good influence”, or any time we went out with the others.
“And they give you a run for your money when it comes to combat. You need someone challenging like them. Plus, that Luke boy isn’t bad either,” Dad added.
As their words sunk in, I had a strange feeling that my parents were there to lessen a Vought-sized blow. My suspicions were confirmed when Liza’s lips pressed more firmly together and she was glancing at one of her phones.
“Are you reading a script right now?” I seethed.
Liza’s head shot up and she shook her head. “No, no, Y/N, not at all. Just some notes.” She quickly regrouped. “I understand that you’re happy and you’re probably having some fantastic sex right now----”
“Liza!” I interrupted, praying that the ground would open and swallow me whole.
Suddenly, Dad’s arm was back at his side, and Mom was suddenly very captivated by a pair of seniors skateboarding past.
“But the facts are that a bi-gender Asian supe is not marketable in the Deep South or the Midwest,” Liza said. “I am not shaming Jordan for who they are but, my job is to sustain your relatable-but-unattainable brand and not let anything get in the way of it.”
“You’re saying my partner is a threat to my career?” I asked, my voice much hollower than I intended.
“Potentially. Now, I have come up with a very good alternative.” Liza turned her laptop so it was facing my parents and me. On it was a picture of Andre and some clips of us on social media. “Andre Anderson tested very well. Our focus group members responded positively to the black power couple aesthetic.”
“We’ve met him before, he’s nice,” Mom offered.
“He’s cool and I’ve met his dad and I could see us all getting along,” Dad mentioned.
My head was swirling with so many thoughts that I was convinced I was either going to be overwhelmed by them or find one that was coherent enough to state. My mouth settled on, “It’s the twenty-first century and you’re all telling me I have to break up with my partner because of demographics? Jordan’s an amazing supe and they’re so smart, it’s scary. They can do---will do so much good and the only thing you care about is optics?”
Mom gently touched my arm. “Y/N, please, calm down.”
When I glanced around, I noticed that several Vought-A-Burger wrappers, a couple of cigarettes, and a few panicked squirrels and rabbits were swirling around the table. Quickly, I released the small animals and put the trash in the nearby receptacle.
“Sorry about that,” I muttered, eyeing Liza.
“I understand that you have strong feelings for Jordan but, think about it. With the right moves, you could be living in The Tower with the legends of your generation. Sure, you’re number three at GOD U right now, but this status can easily go away. You’ve worked your entire life to be the hero that little black girls everywhere look up to. Don’t take Cyclone away from them before she even starts,” Liza warned.
I desperately wanted to say something snarky, but my mind was blank. The only thing I could sense was my throat tightening up and my eyes beginning to well. I brushed a loc out of my face to play it off and tried to gain my thoughts.
“How much time do I have before I make a decision?” I asked.
“Twenty-four hours. I’ll be looking out for your call, text, email, or video call,” Liza stated as she started to pack her things.
My parents stood and Mom gave me one of her warm hugs and Dad pulled me to his side.
“It will be okay, Y/N,” he whispered.
I swallowed the giant lump in my throat to thank him and then insisted on walking them back to their car.
A few hours later, Elle Woods was sobbing in the fanciest restaurant in California while I carefully placed my baking pan in the oven. As much as I wanted to sob, I had no time for tears, I had to think. The thinking led me to have so many circular thoughts that my head spun and I resorted to baking and watching my favorite movie.
If Elle could solve a murder case and exonerate her client as a first-year law student, I should be able to figure out this PR mess. On the one hand, I was happier with Jordan than I’ve ever been with anyone. On the other hand, my dreams and my family’s position were hanging by a thread.
Maybe it was better that I channeled my energy into baking cupcakes.
I exhaled a small gust of wind to clear the bowls and utensils from the counter and place them in the dishwasher. Then, I focused on pushing multiple gusts of wind from my hands to clean the counters and wash the dishes. By the time I was done, I was exhausted and flopped on my couch to mindlessly watch the movie.
Unfortunately, the bright and colorful backdrop of Elle’s LSAT studying montage did nothing to take my mind off my dilemma. All I could think about was Jordan’s face when I told them. Breaking up with them would be like shooting a puppy’s mom in front of the puppy and making it watch it bleed out.
How would I tell them anyway? Hey, babe, I’m sorry I had to run out on us almost hooking up to meet with Liza and my parents. Funny story, they want me to break up with you so that I have a shot at a career and date Andre instead. See you for that morning lecture?
             Knock! Knock! Knock!
The sound jolted me from my thoughts, and I pushed myself off the couch to answer it. “Rufus, if you try to get me into your room again, I swear to----” I cut myself off at the sight of Jordan, in their feminine form, staring back at me.
They wore a navy sweatshirt and black sweatpants. Also, their cheeks were more flushed than usual and they smelled like their sandalwood body wash, meaning they had probably stopped by the gym recently.
“Is Rufus bothering you again? I’ll go murder him right now,” Jordan said.
I quickly grabbed their wrist. “No, I appreciate the thought but I’m fine, besides, I can take care of myself.”
“I know but I can’t help but worry.”
A strange warm, tingling sensation ran its way from the center of my chest throughout the rest of my body. I was sure that if someone listened closely enough, they would hear me buzzing.
I stepped aside to let Jordan in and leaned against the door to close it. “So, what brings you by?”
They wandered over to my couch, sat down, and grabbed my phone off the coffee table. “Because you haven’t been answering my texts or calls.”
“Crap, I am so sorry, Jordan, I’ve just had a lot on my mind.”
Jordan glanced around my dorm. “I can see that.” They sniffed the air. “Legally Blonde and you’re baking, what happened at the meeting?”
Of course, Jordan would cut straight to the point. Usually, this kind of banter was pleasant but my stomach was in knots as Liza’s words and my parents’ expressions replayed in my mind.
“What? I can’t bake and watch a comfort movie after a last-minute PR meeting?” I asked rhetorically, crossing the room to my desk to start organizing my textbooks.
“Don’t try to deflect, Y/N. Tell me what happened.” Their voice was gentle but firm and I knew that they were not going to let me out of this conversation.
So, I set Brink’s latest book down and sat across from Jordan on my tangerine accent chair. I prayed that I would find the right words to say before blurting them out. As soon as I made eye contact with them, my chest tightened.
“Well, Liza surprised me by having my parents join us,” I started.
Jordan raised their eyebrows. “Shit, this is serious.”
“Uh-huh. Liza said that my numbers are doing great and I’m on track for a promising career.”
           “And?”
I gulped. “And…she’s concerned that my personal choices might get in the way of that.”
Jordan frowned. “Personal choices? Every college kid known to man has done illicit substances and drank alcohol underage. You’ve never been caught doing any of that anyway.”
“You’re right but she wasn’t talking about partying; she was talking about us.”
As soon as the bomb rolled off my tongue, I saw its impact on Jordan, from the flashing expressions of confusion and anger to the clenching of their fists. I just wanted to make it stop.
        “What?”
As I rambled Liza’s reasoning, I could sense the hurt and animosity flowing from Jordan. Once I finished, the timer for the cupcakes went off and I jumped up to grab them. I could have cried at the momentary escape as I set them on the counter to cool.
“She weaponized your desire to be a positive role model for other girls who look like you to screw you over,” Jordan said slowly.
I wiped my hands on my sweatpants. “Liza’s doing her job, babe, and she’s looking at all angles, including how it could impact my goals.” I returned to my seat and folded my hands in my lap.
“Her job is to make you choose between your relationship and your career?” Jordan asked. “That’s bullshit, this whole thing is.”
“I know, Jordan, trust me, I know, I almost started a small tornado when she said it.”
Jordan eyed me closely for a second. “What else did she say?”
           “What?”
“I can tell you’re holding back, Y/N. Whatever else you have to say, it can’t be any worse.”
They might have just jinxed that.
“Liza thinks that Andre would be a better fit for me because a bunch of people like the idea of a black power couple.”
Jordan had two angry responses: the first was they would attempt to tear down anything and everything around them unless consoled. The second was they would become unresponsive and deal with all their rage internally. That night, I got the second one. Their eyes were hollow and the color drained from their face. My eyes welled up as I hoped for them to start screaming, swearing, or something, but nothing happened.
“But I don’t want to do it, Jordan, I think it’s so stupid.” I knelt in front of them, grabbed my phone from their hands, and set it aside to hold them. “My parents don’t even really agree with Liza because they know you and they think you’re awesome.”
“What do you think?” they muttered.
“Like I said, I think it’s stupid. We can figure something else out. Liza can spin us as the ultimate diverse power couple, huh?” I did my best to smile as widely as I could. “Come on, let’s forget about this. I made white velvet cupcakes with cream cheese filling. You can be my first taste tester once they cool.”
Things would work out, they had to. We would figure something out and survive our junior year at GOD U with little to no incidents. Suddenly, Jordan’s hands slipped from my grasp and they shifted to their masculine form.
“What if it doesn’t work out?” Jordan whispered.
“What do you mean?” I replied.
“I mean, you don’t necessarily have to be a supe but, I know that you’re scared for your parents. Your success has helped them a lot and it could destroy them if your reputation takes a hit,” they said. “And I’ve seen how little black girls light up when they see you now and how passionate you are about helping them and, I know that you’re just getting started and I don’t want to be in the way.”          “Jordan…”
“I don’t want to hold you back anymore, Y/N,” they muttered.
Their words sunk deep into my core like a boulder and took all my words with it. I wanted to tell them that they could never hold me back and that they made me a better super, a better person. But all I could do was watch as they stood and walked out of my dorm, taking our one and a half year relationship with them.
