I’ve been reading a lot of your works and whenever you write Mammon I see your worried if you’ve written him well enough or in character but I can say you write him SO well and it really does feel like the greedy but caring demon we know you really don’t need to worry about it it’s perfect and I think you should have more confidence in your writing it’s beautiful 🤍🤍🫶

To be honest, I still worry about my Mammon characterization... I love him, but I know he has a lot of fans. And I've seen a lot of complaints about how he's written in fics (or I used to... I don't think I've seen any recently), so I'm always worried I'm doing it wrong aldkjf.

BUT I also realize that whenever I write any of the characters, I kind of make them my own a little bit. So I've been trying to embrace that feeling with him, too.

Anyway, thank you so much for this sweet ask! It really means a lot to me any time someone takes the time to tell me that I don't need to worry about these things! Hearing it from someone outside of myself makes it so much easier to believe, so thank you!!

i agree with most of your sentiment on that post but people who can moderately function without support should NEVER try to get an autism dx. it takes so many legal rights away from people it's not worth it in the slightest. hell we're seeing australia revoke the drivers licenses of autistic adults now because of new laws. a diagnosis is genuinely life ruining and should not be pursued

that's fair. i suppose if there were a compromise, like seeking out medical input but not receiving a formal diagnosis, that could be an option. i probably have adhd and have talked to my np and psych about it, and while they agree, there's not much we can do about it for external reasons, so it's not really on my chart and it can't be formally treated. i know it's definitely not the same thing, especially with the anti-autism laws bit, but it makes me think that at least asking for medical opinions from a professional, even if it's informal and out of office, might be better than nothing. but again, it's very tricky and could lead to a diagnosis and having your rights revoked. i also understand the comfort that comes with self dxing as i definitely did it when i was younger. so yeah, honestly valid point, anon, and thank you for offering that perspective. i was really just thinking of canada as i'm from here and the us because it's the closest/the place i know the most about outside of canada, so mentioning australia gives me a wider perspective. i had no idea about the driver's license bit which is fucking. insane. like jesus christ. so thank you for letting me know. however, i will say i still believe that if you're here in canada you should look into it though if you don't plan on moving to places like nz or aus. i don't believe we have any laws that strip rights (right now anyway).

tremors is amazing!! i really love that the reader acknowledges that the relationship is not perfect and can't really say why they fear that Niragi might harm them at some point. reading it felt like being in such a relationship because i kept wondering myself - is he going to hit them? is he going to do it? what is going to set him off? but it also seems like Niragi is trying hard to be good and open up in a way (by showing them his game).

Hiii~ I'm kind of new here, i recently found your blog, and i absolutely adore the way you write, I love your fics, especially the way you write Barbatos! he's such a complex and interesting character. He's actually one of my fav characters, and I'm so glad to have found someone who equally likes him! I'm so happy to hear that you enjoy my writing and how I write Barb! I agree, he is often overlooked. He fascinates me in so many ways. I like writing for him because his character is such that I think you could write him differently depending on your preference. I obviously have a love of fluff, so when I write him like that it's all soft Barb taking care of you (or you taking care of him because that man needs it). But I think you can also go with jealous Barbatos or possessive Barbatos... and when it comes to smut, I have a strong preference for Barbatos losing control of himself and teasing you lol.

I really love to write for Barbatos because he has such a depth of character. I'm a little worried that they're gonna reveal something that changes him, like that he's Nightbringer or some such thing. But so far, he's just the perfect blend of intriguing mystery to me. I like how he has this competence, like he's ready to take care of everyone and everything and he's amazingly good at everything he does. But then he's always surprised or genuinely touched any time MC compliments him or thanks him. Like he's so used to just being the best and taking care of things that he forgets he needs that acknowledgement from others, too. The way that his love for MC can change him is sooo interesting to me.

ANYWAY. I like writing for all the characters, but Barbatos is my favorite and this is not the first time I've received a message from someone saying they're glad to have found my blog. I'm glad this can be a place for Barb lovers!
