Ok this is so weird but I have a theory for how Hels came to be... There was a lightning flash when Wels cloned himself, and Hels owed Evil X a favour, apparently. What if... ya know... Evil X helped Hels get a body?
Had to watch back a few things before I answered this so I got some info straight-
There was lightning, though I think that was Wels’s personal addition editing wise. I think the fact that he was holding blaze rods might’ve had more connection to the fact that it was Helsknight that came of the cloning but Beef was trying something different so who knows
In hels kitchen, Evil X was asking a favor from Helsknight, but as far as I can tell, Helsknight didn’t owe him anything. EX was simply asking for help in his scheme
Regardless, it is interesting. And knowing they ran into each other eventually and knew each other long enough by then that you could consider them friends or even scheming acquaintances where Evil X can actively ask him for help occasionally is also very interesting. So it’s not far off to claim EX has done something for Helsknight before or vice versa
I mean who knows, Beef might’ve been compelled to clone Wels through some strange Evil X influence. But Helsknight does state that Wels having created the clone is what gave him the vessel to come over in the first place, so I dunno 😂

✨Event Announcement !!✨
Hi everyone <33
SO i told yall i was planning something new for my blog and i actually got this idea not too long ago. I’ve got a new bi-weekly event in the works: let me explain !
✨Musical Monday✨
The concept behind this is fairly simple, i’ll explain below the cut !
Every other Wednesday, I’ll post a little something to remind you that Musical Monday is in the works for the following week. You can then send in either
-an album you enjoy by any artist
-or a spotify playlist (that you created or that someone else created (with credits pls!))
and
-a book/show/movie who’s characters you want me to pair the songs with
my job is to then assign the characters from these shows/movies/books to the songs in said playlist/album.
!! (you can specify who you definitely want to see in the list if you’d like but it’s not necessary) !!
Every other Monday (meaning every fortnight), I’ll be posting the characters with the songs as well as a piece of writing underneath explaining why I thought they matched the song.
The whole point of this is to discover new music, hopefully give you my own recommendations as well, and also just to have fun and spread some love for these characters. I also genuinely adore analysing characters and digging deeper into their story arcs so this’ll be the perfect opportunity for me to share my thoughts with you and hear your own!
✨What shows/movies/books can I request?✨
you can request just about anything however I obviously haven’t watched every show or movie on the planet and I have definitely not read that many books so here are a few ideas to get you all started if you’re at all interested:
anything MCU, Teen Wolf, Sex Education, Gossip Girl, Friends, How I Met Your Mother, Glee, Sherlock, any Choices book, the Haunting of Bly Manor, the Haunting of Hill House, the Office, Bridgerton, Harry Potter, the Hunger Games, the Maze Runner, Shameless, the Goonies, Outer Banks, the Society, Derry Girls, American Horror Story (1-7), Grey’s Anatomy, the 100, Star Wars, Fleabag, Little Women, Disney movies, Barbie movies, Narnia, and many many more
if there’s anything else in mind that’s not on this list, that’s 100% ok, you can definitely still send it in. if i haven’t seen/read it and don’t plan on doing so, i’ll just say so (respectfully ofc), or i’ll add it to the list of stuff i have to watch!
✨What type of music can I request?✨
I’m a big fan of indie rock, alt-rock, hard rock, pop, soul, 70s music, honestly you can send in just about anything, I’m always down to listen to new stuff and I’ll mostly be focusing on the lyrics anyway!
✨Can I request a show/movie/book if it’s been requested before already?✨
honestly there’s hundreds of combinations you could send in. Someone could send in a request for Derry Girls x a specific Harry Styles album, and two months later someone else could request Derry Girls x a David Bowie album, or request How I Met Your Mother x another Harry Styles album. There’s little to no chance you’ll request exactly the same thing as someone else so please don’t hesitate to send in your asks!
✨Themes?✨
it wouldn’t truly be a mischiefandi event if themes weren’t involved of course! when it comes to seasons, holidays and international days like Valentine’s, Christmas, Halloween, New Year’s Eve, Summer, Spring, Winter, Autumn, or other random prompts, I’ll tell you on the Wednesdays before Musical Monday, notifying you that it’s a special edition (along with additional guidelines if there are any).
✨Dos and Don’ts✨
do make sure to send in A) a playlist or album + B) a show, or movie, or book (remember: A+B!). I expect I’ll get quite a few requests over the next few months and I won’t have time to go and ask you for more info privately, so please send in both or I’ll have to delete your request.
do be patient with me! if you sent in a request a few months ago, chances are I’m still working on it or you’re on the list and I’m getting to you :)
do send in multiple requests if you want to! i genuinely will be super happy to add them to the list!
don’t harass me with the exact same requests over and over again please haha. Like I said, chances are you’re already on the list and it’s really easy to see when a specific anon keeps sending the same asks so pls don’t.
don’t be rude to other people if they don’t necessarily agree with your point of view about a specific character description. this is all meant to be fun and light-hearted. debating and discussing these characters is 100% encouraged as long as it’s constructive, polite, and civilised. any unnecessary rudeness or hate will be deleted immediately.
don’t make fun of people for the characters or books/movies/shows they like. if on one specific Musical Monday you see the post is about a show you’re not a big fan of, just scroll. let people enjoy things!
don’t hesitate to ask me any questions that you might have about Musical Monday. anon is always on for my shy peeps out there and i’m more than happy to give you more clarification if needed!
✨How do I get notified when Musical Monday happens?✨
i’ve updated my taglist google form so please click here and fill in the Musical Monday taglist box if you would like to be tagged every other Wednesday as a reminder for the next Musical Monday, and every Musical Monday of course.
You don’t have to be on my writing taglists to participate in this and you definitely don’t have to be on the Musical Monday taglist in order to send in a request. Anyone can join at any time, the taglist is only for the people that want to make sure they don’t miss a Musical Monday.
Again, if you have any questions about this game, my inbox is open <3
I am super excited about this project and I’ve been mulling it over for a little while now. Hopefully this is something that you guys will enjoy and want to participate it. I know a lot of you enjoyed the musical blurbs i did in November (still have a ton to do btw), so I thought that this could be fun also! My hope for this game is that it’ll create dialogue about these characters that we love so much and I’m so excited to hear your guys’ thoughts and recommendations!!
Love you all and hope you’re all having a lovely February
✨When will the first Musical Monday go down?✨
this Monday! exceptionally it’s on short notice, but for future reference, you’ll have a whole week to send in your requests no so worries! Please send in any requests you have for this Monday though!!
the theme for this Monday (15/02/21) is Valentine’s Day of course so my descriptions will be love-related but if you have any requests for stuff that has nothing to do with love, that’s more than fine, I’ll be adding them to the list for the upcoming Musical Mondays!
✨Tagging everyone in my taglists just this once + some mutuals to spread the word✨
@stiles-o-dylan24 @duskholland @mersuperwholocked-lowlife @r0s3mm @redstringlovers @captainbuckyyy12 @soincredible @behind-my-hazeleyes27 @cheesecakes-randomshitz @traveleraroundsworld @alwaysforever73 @thelittlestkitsune@glaimtruelovealways @texaskitten30 @abitofeverythinggg @alwaysforever73 @hcomet28 @thegirlwhoimagined @cherriesanwine @decaffeinated--fangirl @shutupstyless @x-give-em-hell-kid-x @teen--marvel @soincredible @behind-my-hazeleyes27 @bibliophilewednesday @jazminebrightxx @cheesecakes-randomshitz @traveleraroundsworld @perrytheplatypus11 @stixnstripesworld @masterofbluff @drakewalker04 @superapplepie @apatheticanvas67482 @theamazingtomholland @earthlyholland @siriusly-harry @solstilla @mrscutiefandobhaz @mrs-mitch-rapp93 @all-alone-he-turns-to-stone @isaiahjesus -> it’d mean the world to me if you could signal boost this to spread the word, but if you’d rather not interact, that’s totally okay! don’t worry! you won’t be tagged anymore unless you’ve added yourself to the Musical Monday taglist here.
thank you and see you on Monday 15/02/21 at 8 pm CET (= UTC+1) / 7 pm GMT (= UTC) / 2 pm EST (= UTC-5) / 11 am PST (= UTC-8)

How did I find your blog? I was looking for soft Kuroo content on google. And your soft birthday hc’s for him came up. And that’s also how I found tumblr
What was the first story of yours that I read? That Kuroo piece ^
Roughly, how long have I been following this blog? Well I found that piece shortly after it was posted so…. Around the beginning of December 2019 I think. Got a tumblr a few months later and you were the first person I followed (had you in my bookmarks bar before that! (still have you in my bookmarks bar and when I share my screen in classes there are occasionally questions. I ignore them))
What’s something I’ve noticed about you personality wise? You’re really clever and funny. But you’re also sweet. But because you’re clever you have no hesitation in setting up and enforcing your boundaries, and I really admire that strength and confidence.
Have we ever interacted, either by PM, ask, or in the comments? What was my perception of you? YES!!! PM, SOOOOO many asks, comments, and you sent me an ask. And reblogged it. And I cried. A lot. My perception: you’re lovely and I want to h*ld your h*nd ….please.
What’s my favorite story of yours? Oh how to choose. Firstly, I’m a nb, biracial, bisexual. Honey, I’ve never made a choice in my life. But let’s try here. Anything you’ve written for Tsukki. Literally all of it is gold. Fight me. I was going to write “especially [piece title]” but I LITERALLY CANNOT CHOOSE ONE. Your Bokuto nightmare piece. Your Kuroo angsty fight. Your Tendou dealing with S/O with parents who yell piece. Your Kinktobers. Your Futakuchi and Mattsun pieces. And your Terushima pieces. Ugh. I CANNOT CHOOSE. OH AND YOUR STREAMER KENMA!!!!!! OKay just… all of it. I can’t choose. I tried, and I failed, and I’m willing to admit failure.
What’s a story I’d love to see you write? I don’t want to say this… because it hurts me… but I just KNOW you’d write brilliant angst. Some of my fav pieces of yours are pained beginnings with happy endings. That fight with Tsukki after a bad day at work. The pieces I mentioned above (nightmare pieces and fighting pieces and angsty home life ha.. ha.ha.ha.). That Oikawa one where the reader wakes up in bed without him and thinks he left. You write these gorgeous atmospheres and descriptive, visceral feelings, and if you chose to use it for evil…. You could get evil shit done. You’re SO powerful. So I want to read it… but also…. I don’t. I’d love to see you write ABO like you mentioned a while back or just see you explore a cutesy soulmate AU or something. I think you’d be really good at writing an AU where you hear what the other person’s listening too. I feel like you’d be so good at making me feel something for someone who was in another city. (think this would be cute with Tsukki cos he’s headphones boy, OR terushima because I like the dynamic of someone flirty, who clearly cares about looks, falling for someone he can’t see) ANYWAY….
Favorite pairing you write for?/fav reader insert? Tsukishima x reader. It’s my fav self-ship. (but also Mattsun, Bokuto, Oikawa, Tanaka, and Akaashi because you write them SO WELL!!!!)
Have any of your stories helped me through a hard time? Of course. Your self-harm piece came at a time I needed it. Iwaizumi’s in particular saved my life. But also your Tendou dealing with S/O parents who fight… came right when I needed it. Also starting college… was hard.. And reading and rereading your fluff really pulled me through it.
Have any of your stories hit closer to home? YES (see above).
Do I genuinely like your blog, it’s aesthetic or posts? It’s overall feel? It’s content? Yes. The aesthetic is, ngl, a wee bit basic. But I kinda love that. And the feel? It feels like home. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Your blog is my safe space. So, yes, I love. It’s content? YES. OF COURSE. Your personality probably could have kept me here even if your content was kinda shit, but I follow you RELIGIOUSLY because of your content. So yes. I adore.
Is English my first language? Kinda??? I grew up in a trilingual household so I kinda learned three languages at the same time while growing up. But no, I don’t need to translate it in my head. Because English was one of the three.
Anything I want to share? Yes. Please keep being kind to yourself, caring for your mental health, enforcing your boundaries, loving Akaashi, and just generally being you. You’re so lovely as you are, and I hope you continue grow, but never change. Also I’m sorry about all your work stuff…. It literally makes me feel sick. And I hope you find a job where that’s not tolerated, or that your work finds a better way of protecting it’s employees. I know you know this, but none of it is your fault. I just hope things improve. AND I love you… a lot. And I’m so proud of you hitting 9K and you deserve so many more followers because your pieces are just... GORGEOUS. I can’t wait until I’m at Barnes and Noble in a few years and I can pick up a hardback copy of your debut novel. I’m so excited to say “I knew Em Akaashi (which is your legal name as far as I’m concerned) before she was so popular among the masses.”
so ive been trying to figure out the correct and worthy way to reply to this ask since the moment i got it......because its so fucking sweet and kind and amazing and pure and perfect and i just dont know how to use WORDS to explain the way it makes me feel so.......i will just reply in bullet points in regards to every question u answered to make it a lil easier :D
- the fact that u found my blog on google ....... like this may be odd and a very specific thing but before i made this blog i always hoped that 1 day my fanfic would pop up in google searches bc thats ALWAYS how i found fics when i was reading them religiously and i felt so much ENVY!!!!! LIKE I WANTED TO BE THERE I WANTED MY FICS TO B POPULAR ENOUGH TO POP UP ON GOOGLE.....that may sound very selfish but its true......so thats just very cool to me... :]
- u’ve been here for so long omg 🥺🥺🥺🥺 if anyone in ur classes ever asks jus promo my blog like its nbd
- thats so sweet what 🥺🥺🥺 i try my best to advocate for myself and be confident for myself.....ive spent far too much of my time being silently uncomfortable because i was afraid of pushing someone’s buttons seeming rude.....but NO MORE!!!! i know what upsets me, i know my triggers, i know what i dislike experiencing, and im never gonna let myself be anxious or uncomfortable for someone else’s sake, esp if theyre being rude 2 me. i would say its less strength and confidence and moreso me attempting to take control of my anxiety in the places i can (aka on the Internet) bc i am SICK OF ANXIETY ATTACKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- BBY no dont CRY!!!! im racking my brain trying to think of who u are i wanna know so bad so i can thank u personally for being the kindest person in the world n so i can send u more asks >:(........MY HAND IS URS TO HOLD!!!!! dont tell akaashi tho
- OMG my TSUKKI pieces.....hes so hard to write why ;-; thank u so much im so glad u enjoy my works<3333
- NOT ANGST NOT LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!! pained beginnings to happy endings are my specialty.....IMAGINE me writing a sad ending like i CANT!!!!!!!!! ive only done it a few times and it is so Difficult.....YALL ARE SO LUCKY IM NOT EVIL!!!!!! ive had this idea for an angsty akaashi fic that i think about and write in my head every night before falling asleep and it Hurts and i wanna write it but i also can’t make myself :D ABO would be very fun but i genuinely do not know how to explore the concept while making it feel like it’s Written By Me.....u know what i mean? same with soulmate aus, i really dislike writing them because theyre just boring to me like they all feel the same everything’s been done for them.....which is FINE!!! but i write enough cliche stuff as it is HAHA, a long distance type soulmate au could be fun and interesting but ldr’s trigger me bc of a past relationship so </3 but hey maybe someone else could use the idea!!!!!
- gotta love tsukishima <3
- im rlly glad my writing could be there for you friend, one of the biggest reasons i write fanfic (and write the kind of fics i write) is bc i know firsthand how much reading sweet stories abt ur comfort characters can help u through the shittiest times - i just wanna offer ppl some support and happy feelings and love cuz sometimes fanfic is the only time we can find those things (and theres nothing shameful abt that either if anyone bullies u for reading fanfic i will fight them)
- I KNOW MY LAYOUT IS LAZY AND BASIC AS FUCK AND THAT IS BECAUSE I DO NOT GIVE A SHIT LMAOOOO so im glad u think its ok...... like i dont have the patience to create a fancy ass layout that actually works are u KIDDING ME??????? I COULD LITERALLY NEVER plus i kinda like that its just the basic kinda ugly boring default layout like it makes it simple and easy and i feel like it brings focus to the only thing on this blog that i care about which is my writing, i rlly only care about the content here and not aesthetics jdbljdabsdk that blue background will be there til i Die......i adore u more btw
- WHOA trilingual what the hell ur so cool tell me more
- you have my word, friend, that i will continue to do all of that so long as you do the same. take care of yourself, be kind to yourself - i know u can do it, ur so kind to others and u deserve to be kind to urself, too so this is the part that genuinely brought me to tears because *sappy dumb shit ahead* ok look ever since i can remember the one and only thing ive wanted to do with my life is become an author ...... dreams of book covers with my name written on them and words in pages written by me and fanart of my characters and going into my local bookstore n seeing my book there....these thoughts all haunt my fucking brain because i want it SO BAD!!!!!!!! so bad that it makes me CRY!!!!!!!! ive never wanted something more and just!!!!!!!!!!!! idk how much u meant that part but holy fuck!!!!!! i hope so bad that one day i can send u a free copy of my book as a thank u for being the person u are. u have all my love friend, every last bit of it <333333333

i'm going to be basic as hell but. mdzs cafe au. cafe au's just get to me.
@borospaladin: Idk what that show is that you've been talking about so much lately but i love the character interactions how about a college au with some of them also working at a coffeeshop cuz i like pairing those two concepts?
Great minds think alike!
(Caveat that I have never worked in a café, so it is possible I am getting details wrong.)
1. Jin Guangshan owns the café, and Jin Guangyao manages it, working around his class schedule. (Haha, ““around”“ his class schedule. This man is getting no sleep.) Jin Guangyao is basically doing all the logistics, and is constantly being made to have the awkward conversations and be the bad guy/cop who has to deal with things like “No, Wei Wuxian, you do need to show up on time, in uniform, and definitely not wearing a labcoat with maybe hazardous chemicals on it,” “No, Lan Wangji, you need to say words to customers.”
2. Why is Lan Wangji working here anyway. His uncle is paying for his classes and accomodation and other expenses. Is he here to... build character??? He is not the main reason Jin Guangyao is going prematurely grey, but gods, why is he here??? (I’m not sure what Lan Wangji is studying. Music? History? Some sort of job qualification?).
3. Wen Ning is studying biology, with the general life ambition of ?lab-tech?. (He wanted to be a doctor when he was younger, but he has seen his sister go through a medical degree and he is... not doing that.) At the cafe, he appears to be very shy and accomodating and has the spine of a wet noodle around customers, and this is sort of true-- but no one has yet to work out who sent the warning that made the food safety inspectors show up and caused chaos for a month, and if Wen Ning has his way no one ever will. (It was bad, okay. Someone had to say something.)
4. ...Wen Ning is eventually found out, and plausibly deniably fired. Wei Wuxian is fired for going “you can’t fire me, I quit!” about this. (Jin Guangyao breathes a sigh of relief that he never has to hassle him about being late, or bringing clothes covered in actetylated ferrocene in here again.) They work at the food co-op, which is somewhere between a combined café-grocery store and a liminal space. It suits them better.
5. A short list of people who are getting Business degrees because their family wants them too:
- Jin Guangyao
- Jiang Cheng
A short list of people who actually want to do business degrees:
- Jin Guangyao
A short list of people in an elaborate web of deception to convince their families they are doing business degrees, when they are actually studying fine arts:
- Nie Huaisang
6. Wei Wuxian never really listened when he was told he needed to pick his classes and “plan” to have “a major” and take “the right amount of classes”, and chose his classes to maximise field trips, the chance to play with fun toys use scientific equipment, and lab time, in that order. In third year, some Creative Accounting is required to get him to graduate, but hey, if you ever needed someone to do GIS of the structural geology of corals, somehow he is your guy???
7. The café is brought down by a rapid fire combination of sexual harassment, underpayment and safety scandals. (Wen Ning is at the co-op. He plans to not being involved. He is dragged in anyway.) Two weeks later, it has a large printed sign reading ‘Under New Ownership’. The rumour mill is abuzz. Nie Huaisang owns it now? For some reason? That art student, who hangs around doing life sketches in the lobby of the business school in case his brother shows up and wonders where he is? That guy? No one knows how he acquired the cafe, but it’s his now.
...the coffee’s better than it was before, at least.

REQUESTED: “tsundere” [stray kids: felix]
genre: fluff + high school/badboy concept
ficstyle: bulletpoints
anon asked: for any written pieces with FELIX from STRAY KIDS
note: inspired by some song on YouTube but I forgot what it was called bc it was a different language
Tumblr media
SNAP
someone put the front camera on their phone and took a picture of you
before you yell at them, they scurried away
you didn’t think too much of it
but then?
you gathered a lot of uwanted attention
on your way to class someone bumped into you a little too hard
they snickered as you adjusted yourself and continued walking
there was a crowd around the school’s bulletin board
you pushed people aside to see what the whole deal was
there were flyers of your face plastered all over the board
(CAUTION) it read with your face inside of a hazard sign
you ripped them off the board and threw them in the trash
“CAUTION CAUTION Y/N IS ON THE LOOSE!!”
everyone starts laughing and you knew who that voice belonged to
“LEE FELIX WHAT THE HECK!! WHAT IS THE MEANING TO ALL OF THIS!!!” you threw the remaining flyers in his face
he scoffs and cracks his neck
“there doesn’t need to be a meaning to any of this” he kicks the flyers left on the ground and his friends follow behind him laughing
a tear escaped at the corner of your eye but you quickly wiped it away
you weren’t sad, in fact you were fairly mad
mama didn’t raise no biscuit(ch)
you ran off to class
the sound of your footsteps made Felix turn around
(was I too much?) he thought as his friends kept on laughing about you
you were glad school was over
running out to the bike rack to find your bike
when you found it, none of the wheels were intact
you spotted Felix and his friends talking amongst each other
you picked up what’s left of your bike and walked over there
CRASH
you threw the bike right in front of them
“you are all trash!” you scowled as you hastily walked away
“I’m what?”
“what? is your hearing all messed up too? I SAID. YOU. ARE. TRASH.”
with that you walked away
his friends tried to chase after you but Felix stopped them
“let her be”
on your way home, you didn’t understand why he was just being mean all of a sudden
usually Felix didn’t even bother with you; or frankly it was like he didn’t even know who you were up until now
why would a popular kid like him mess with someone like you?
it was like that for the next few days
you began to get used to his little shenanigans but you were sick of it
this morning, you saw your bike WITH WHEELS INTACT hooked up to the bike rack, with the CAUTION poster on it
“I didn’t wanna keep the wheels anymore, it was all rusty and a waste of space,” Felix said without even looking at you as he passed by you
(hmm.. is he being nice?) you shook your head (Felix? nice? whatta joke)
you liked to eat lunch before people get to the cafeteria because of Felix and his friends
so you were eating your tonkatsu and you were about to reach out for the sauce on the table
but someone grabs it first
it was Felix
you took a deep breath in (no use in trying to ask him for the sauce)
so you were about to take a bite without the sauce
Felix pours sauce across your bite of tonkatsu
“tonkatsu is better with the sauce” he smiled
you didn’t know what he was planning but... it was a nice change
you both heard his friends come in from behind him
Felix pours the whole bottle of sauce onto your plate
he chuckles and his friends are just laughing, “SHE’S GONNA DIE FROM EATING ALL THAT SODIUM”
you were getting annoyed so you got up and threw your food away
(what a waste... it was good too) you walked away as your stomach was growling
you left your last class a little early, since your teacher heard that you haven’t eaten all day
you were a little excited to go home on your bike so you rushed out to the bike rack
Felix was standing there; with a granola bar
“you.. didn’t finish your meal earlier..” he tosses it to you
you catch it, “I’m heading home now.. what are you doing out here.. waiting just to give me this?” you raised the granola bar
“um.. I got kicked out of class..”
you scoffed, “of course you did”
you unchained your bike and got on it
before you rode away, he pulls the bike back
“WHAT ARE YOU-”
“can I sit on the back of your bike before you leave?”
what was going on?
you were sick of this “push & pull” effect going on with Felix
but you just nodded
you rode around the school yard with Felix sitting in the back
he leans the side of his head on your back and it catches you off guard
RRRING
the school bell rings and Felix jolts his head up
once he sees his friends walk out of the doors, he jumps off of the bike and rushes to his friends
he motions you to get going and you do
(why is he so different when he’s around me and his friends..) you thought
Felix clenches his jaws as he see you disappear around the corner
(why am I making things so complicated....) he thinks before he comes in contact with his friends
“hey! so I had a classmate invite y/n to the party tonight! it’s gonna be 10x more fun with her there to tease her haha! she probably looks like a dork even out of her uniform too!!” Friend A laughs
“weren’t you the one that said she was cute?!” Friend B jeers
“if Felix says she’s ugly, than she’s ugly!” Friend A comments back
the rest of the guys are just laughing but Felix felt really bad inside, he hopes that you don’t go to the party
you got a text from a chill classmate, “hey y/n! there’s a party at the class rep’s house tonight. you should definitely go!!” they also sent the address
this was the first time you’ve been invited to anything outside of school projects so you were willing to go
you got all dolled up; you took off your glasses and put on your contacts
you only fixed your brows with pomade and put on waterproof eye makeup
took your hair out of the messy bun that you always sported and took the time to curl it into waves and whipped it up in a half up/half down ponytail
you slipped into navy bodycon dress; thought it was too much skin so you wore black mesh oversized but cropped long sleeve that went off your shoulder
wore white platform sneakers because you wanted something you could easily run in just in case something happened
with that, you went to the address of the party
you could hear the music booming as you walked up to the house
the classmate that invited you ran up to you
“Y/N??? IS THAT YOU??”
you gathered lots of looks and started to hear murmurs
“ye-yeah... it’s me... do I look weird?”
your classmate shook her head, “NO WAY! YOU LOOK GOOD!! WOW!!”
she told you to go look around and she’ll bring you a drink
you nodded and walked out to where the pool was
it was getting stuffy inside and a lot of people were looking at you
you bumped into someone
“hey watch where your going!” they turned around and their jaws dropped
“whoa... y/n?” Felix’s friend A moves in a little too close to your liking
“what do you want...”
he slings his arm over your shoulders, “HEY FELIX LOOK WHO CAME TO THE PARTY!!”
across the pool, Felix turns his head to see you and Friend A
not baring the sight of the two of you together Felix rushes over AS CALMLY AS POSSIBLE BC HE DOESN’T WANNA CAUSE A SCENE
Felix pulls you away from Friend A, “what’s with this get up? who’re you trynna impress?”
Felix is looking deeply into your eyes
Friend A puts his arms around your shoulders again, “let’s go have fun, y/n”
before you could answer, Felix pushes him
“what do you think you’re doing buddy?”
Friend A pushes him back
“you said you weren’t even interested in her, so what’s your problem?”
his push makes you lose your balance and you begin to lean over the pool
with quick reflexes, Felix grabs your hands and you grab on
in the split second, your hand slips
you thought you were going to fall back into the pool by yourself
but Felix grabs you and puts an arm around you and a hand over your head so you wouldn’t hurt yourself
SPLASH
both of you fall into the pool
luckily it was only at the 3 ft end of the pool
“are you okay?!” Felix checks for injuries
and you’re just looking at him like... (I think I’m falling in love with my bully)
you both hear people clapping their hands
“we finally broke tsundere Felix!!’ Friend A gives a high five to your classmate who invited you
“what do you mean?’ you ask
“we knew that Felix likes you but we just didn’t know when he would actually show it so we all placed a be-” your classmate punches Friend A in the stomach
“anyways.. we were just interested to see what was going to happen to the two of you over time and here we are”
Felix gets out of the pool and carries you out of the pool
his face was red but he didn’t deny anything.. more so he didn’t say anything
“I’m leaving..” he left as his friends tried to make him stay but he brushed them off
you didn’t know what to say or do
your classmate took you home that night and you were left in bed of how to even act around Felix anymore
THE NEXT MORNING
you walk past the bulletin board to see another CAUTION flyer
(again? I thought these would be gone by now!)
you were about to rip it off
BAM
you see a hand covering the poster
when they lifted it off, the word “I’M IN LOVE” was placed under “CAUTION”
you turned around to see Felix
“all this time.. my friends were teasing me because they noticed that I’ve been looking at you a lot in class.... they started saying stuff like how cute you were and I didn’t want them to like you... so I started all of this.. I didn’t think about your feelings... I’m sorry.. I just didn’t want to share you with anyone else... but I don’t know how to-”
you cut him off with a peck on his cheek
“the one thing you should’ve done was not be a jerk.. but it’s okay.. since the feelings are mutual...”
you held both straps of your backpack and started walking to class
“wa-wait you said it was mutual? wait y/n come back!!”

I honestly LOVE your bakushima kids, but did you have any ideas on what the rest of the bakusquad's kids would be like if the others did have kids? If you have thought of it, would the next gen of bakusquad be friends like their parents or not so much?
Thanks!!! And to be completely honest with you, the only other kid I have for that specific AU is the todo//deku one :0 not cause I haven’t thought about the bakusquad ones, but cause I still haven’t managed to decide which ships I wanna go with? Do I do kami//sero or kami//jiro or kami//mina? Do I do mina//jiro or momo//jiro? how about sero//mina? I like so many ships for the squad that I can’t manage picking just one haha but what I already have decided is that whoever Kaminari ended up with his kid is Tai’s best friend. I dunno who that kid is, but they’re best friends 👍
Anon said:Hy i have a fan account on ig it’s @o.urarakaa i want To know if i can repost one or your art thanks 🙏
Ahhhh sorry, but as it’s written more or less everywhere on my blog I don’t allow reposts of my stuff - thank you for asking, tho!
Anon said:Have you ever considered MomoJirou????
I have! Have also drawn it and posted it in the past, actually!
Anon said: FRAAAAAAAN! I love your art from the bottom of my heart and every little doodle makes me smile and gasp in awe because they’re beautiful. And since I love it so much, I often comment under it: Is it troublesome for you or I can continue? Idk, maybe it feels exaggerated or repetitive or annoying and I wouldn’t want to bother you :3 Have a lovely day and thank you for sharing your art! (Your KiriBaku give me life)

Anon said:What do you think of Bakugou/Shinsou? I stumbled across the pairing recently, and it’s a bit of a rairpair, but it’s so cute???
It’sssss not really my thing actually - well, generally I’m a picky shipper with Bakugou anyway, not gonna lie, but the only interaction Baku and Shinsou ever had made it pretty clear Shinsou can’t stand him and I usually don’t ship Bakugou with people that don’t like him ??? I’m more drawn to his canon happy relationships honestly haha
Anon said:Oh my goodness, you’ve opened my eyes on the similarities and contrasts of both kiribaku and kamijirou (also, Kamijirou is one of my otps, thank you so much)
Haha that’s cool to hear !! They aren’t exactly similar as ships, but they are fun ships to put next to each other cause they contrast in some pretty funny ways imho! :D
Anon said:That’s so cute fran, how do you even come up with these comics they’re perfection
Thank you!!!!!! And I’m gonna be honest with you, that kamijirou one came up mostly just cause I wanted to write the “you’re an asshole how do you have a bf”/ ”for one, I’m not an asshole to my bf” exchange lmao
Anon said:your comics (bakushima in particular) make me so happy, thank you so much!!!!!!!
YAY!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!! I’m glad I can help you be a lil bit happier!!!!!!
Anon said:I love ur art!! I hope u had a nice day!!
THANK YOU! I hope you’ll have a great day too!!!!!!!
Anon said:R u a cat person or a dog person?
Generally a cat person, but just cause I have two cats and love them with my whole heart haha I love dogs a lot too, tho!! Always wanted one ;u;
Anon said:Hi! How was ur day?
Weirdly tiring, but generally good! I hope yours was a good one too!!!
Anon said:Okay but like… I am 100% a lesbian but your art of Tyki and Wisely is so gorgeous that it makes me feel just a little bit straight. Like, wow.
Holy heck, that’s high praise!!! Thank you so much???? :O
Anon said:Your krbk concert art makes me weep. It’s so beautifullll.

Anon said:i would love to see more bakucamies from you! their friendship is lit
I love and live for all Bakugou relationships, so more of that one will happen for sure! She made him laugh after all, she already owns my soul for that ;^;
Anon said:How do you feel about the other noahs?
Jasdevi means the whole world to me and I miss them more ever passing day, Neah and Mana are my kids whom I need to protect I really just wish for both of them to be happy though I know that’s probably not gonna happen ;;, Road!!!! is!!!!! My girl!!!!!!! Love her, like her better when she’s not hurting Lavi but generally I’m always happy to see her, I have conflicting feelings about Feedra, Sheryl is slimy and I can’t trust him, everyone else wasn’t around enough to know for sure how I feel about them honestly, I’m interested but not particularly invested :0
Anon said:You’re my favourite noah:)
This is??? A weirdly cute ask??? Thank you!!!! :D
Anon said:genuinely shrieking over your doodle of tyki. i love him so fucking much and aH,,
I’M GLAD TO HEAR THAT he’s!!!! so great isn’t he ;O; *sigh*
Anon said:Fran, did you know that I’d die for you and your art?? And also I just really love the extra little things you put in the tags when you post things, idk it makes me really happy to read those little tidbits and for me it just really completes the art,, also your ocs are actually the cutest things I’ve seen in my entire life ((I may or may not be gay for like half of them))
THANK!!!!! YOU!!!!!!!! the oc thing especially, that means the world to me oh my god ;O; still can’t believe people actually like them aaaaHHHHHHHHHHH
Anon said:A concept: someone getting flirty with Kirishima and a jealous Bakugou
A good concept which I’m always up for, but to be honest with you I’m more of a fan of the other way around :O like, Kiri is so good and bright and friend with everyone, jealousy might as well be something Bakugou’s used to by this point - but Bakugou, people tend to avoid him or think of him as rude and annoying, Kirishima wouldn’t be used to jealousy at all you know? So I like it that way around more haha
Anon said:Hi! as a fellow artist I just wanted to rant bc I thought you might understand how I feel. my art never comes out looking right and it’s just so frustrating ugh is this what you call artblock ;; I just want my art to look good sigh
I wouldn’t call it an artblock, it’s more like… like your mind is one step ahead of your skills, I’d say. If treated right, you can turn that feeling into improving your art! What is it that you don’t like? Can you break it down to smaller things? Is it the line work or the coloring style, or even just the way you draw eyes or hands or noses? If you can focus on the smaller parts of what you don’t like in your style you can then look up a way to do the same thing that you do like, and practice that till you’re satisfied with it! One small thing might not mean much by itself, but putting all these small things together is how you make improvement happen :D
Anon said:omg you and your all time low references, I love it so much (everytime I listen to afterglow I think in kiribaku bc of your drawing and now I’m going to do it with the last young renegade 💕)
Hahahaha they’re one of my favorite bands after all, I fall back on them a lot lol I’m glad you like that, tho!!!
Anon said:a concept: angry bakugo next to a smol duck
*me, crying* i-it’s beautiful ;o;
Anon said: *sobs* I LOVE YOUR YULMAS SO MUCH T-T
I’M HAPPY YOU LIKED THAT ONE????? Happy yulma is what keeps me going honestly I love them so incredibly much ;O;
Anon said:I ship the squad x Sero’s hammock
So do I hahaha
Anon said:YOU ADDED GLASSES BAKUGOU TO REDBUBBLE THANK YOUUUUU
I DID! Happy you were happy about that!!! haha
Anon said:What’s your opinion on bakucamie? Both as a friendship and a relationship
Absolutely not as a romantic thing, but I love it as a friendship! As I said, anyone who can make Bakugou laugh owns my soul forever hahaha
Anon said:your bakugous are so good!! also you drew my new fave girl camie i love her so much and i espicially love her in your style!!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh thank you!!!!!!!!! I’m glad you like how she came out, tho I admit I feel like I still don’t have her down properly… will have to draw her more :O
Anon said:Your art style is so amazing, and I love your different au’s and Bakushima comics!! Any plans to draw some BakuCamie brotp in the future?
Thank you!!! And I don’t ever have plans for what I draw until I actually sit down to draw it, but more Baku and Camie is totally possible!!
Anon said:hey fran! i adore your art, been here from the very first page of your tattoo au!!!! i just wanted to say 2 things: 1. when baku laughed this chapter i thought of you! and 2. every time i see your todoroki my heart explodes in my chest he’s so so pretty in your style :00 hope you’re having a wondeful day!
YO THAT’S SUCH A LONG TIME!!!! I’m so happy to hear you stuck around this long!!! ;O; and thank you for the compliment oh my god!! ;O; Todo is so damn fun to draw, I’m glad to hear he comes out well enough!!!
Anon said:OH MY GOSH LITERALLY ALL THE BAKUGOUS YOU DREW IN YOUR MOST RECENT POST ARE SO FUCKING CUTE AND PRECIOUS AND PRETTY AND IM DEAD. The colours look amazing! And his facial expressions are so soft and nice. My favourite is probably him with the dog cos his hair look so freakin fluffy and soFT. I also love him laughing because didn’t everyone just die at that manga panel and you make him look extra sweet! I also love him talking to camie cos he looks exciting and a little shocked to have a friend! /// I love the other ones too obviously they’re all amazing! But I just wanted to share my favourites and how much I love them!

Anon said:Hiii, I hope you are having a good day! Charm School Homework #3: Trashion! Looking Good and Feeling Fine! - Critiques
For your homework, the faculty of costuming Toni and SALLY both asked our girls to create accessories out of unconventional materials with their own step by step guide on how they made it from start to finish! Let’s see how they did!
Erica Strada
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Analyse: FLURSE! Finally, something for Letha to carry all her worldly possessions in! Although the flurse isn't really a ~practical~ accessory, it's cute, and I like that you were Extra™ and made the matching garment. The compact is cute too, but when you put it all together, it's kind of muddles the concept a bit, like what is this animal print compact doing with this nautical explosion? I think the compact may have been a more successful addition to this if you had just left it as the shells you used for a base, or even painted the shells to match the color story of the other accessories. All in all, I think you made some cute stuff, and most importantly, you showed that you can get creative and crafty! As we move forward, just remember that it only pays to be extra if it adds to the overall concept and doesn't detract from it! Good job with this homework, and good luck on your test!
SALLY - Hello Erica! I love this take on an accessory – very cute and very you! I think the compact is a unique idea – the gag would’ve been if you actually had something in the compact like a mirror or some bronzer, but nevertheless, smart idea! The flower purse... I’m not really buying that – only because you’ve lost some functionality with the idea of a purse being a paper lantern. I think the lantern would’ve been more suited to being a fascinator or headpiece in my eyes, just because of how it matches with your garment. My problem with this is that while you still used unconventional materials for your compact, you used a conventional material to cover it. My only nitpick! You could’ve gone full mermaid fantasy and gave us pearls all over the fabric, rhinestone the hell out of it to make it more exciting than it is already! My advice to you is to keep asking yourself if you can add anything else and if it’s hitting your brand. This combination is on your developing signature style, it’s really cute and I know that you’re such a glampy character, but it needs a little extra kick! Good job!
Kushboo
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Analyse: I am so fascinated by this, and not in like a punny "haha fascinator--fascinated lolol" sort of way, but just like, I am so intrigued looking at it. Just based on the pictures, I would never have been like "oh, that's a blending sponge and some cotton swabs," but here we are with this cute little hat. I think it's definitely a statement piece and could see it being part of a very chic outfit. It doesn't necessarily scream a certain concept at me, but that's ok. Sometimes something can be cool based solely on the fact that it looks cool, and I would love to see you build a whole look around this piece, because the playfulness of the shape with the rather subtle color story I think gives you a lot of room to have fun with a look. Great job, and I look forward to your test!
SALLY - Hi, Kushboo! I absolutely adore your creative ingenuity in this challenge, honestly really well done. The hat, I opened the picture and I couldn’t clock the unconventional materials until I saw the step by step, really genius work for me. The fact you worked with painting a sponge and q-tips too it’s crazy, and the ascot element I get so much. My advice is to the get into taking a small step back and sizing up what goes well with each concepts, my only nitpick with your submission due to it being great was that the concept became a bit confused, I did get Ascot but also the addition of your Q-tip Blender decoration turned it into a Judy Jetson 80s vibe? This isn’t really a bad thing honestly, it’s just that when it comes to picking things to go with your accessory, play around a bit with what you particularly see, maybe you’ll surprise yourself with the outcome! Good job!
Luna
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Analyse - You: How can I push myself even harder? Me: Be extra AF You: ~DOES THISSSSSSS~ I am in love with this, it looks SO cool, and the addition of the light and crystal I think really breaks up all the paper-ness of the rest of it. I really have nothing negative to say about this. You might think about adding something more to the paper parts, be it some sort of color or stones or glitter, just to be EXTRA extra, but like I said, I'm not mad at this submission at all. Great job, and I can't wait to see where your creativity takes you for the test!
SALLY - Hey, Luna – first things first, I wasn’t expecting this straight up! I love how you’ve used a very simple material and created a complex shaped headpiece from it, and I’m kind of glad you have actually got a solid foundation too! I saw the crown and I wasn’t as nervous and I think you utilized building on a base really well here. This is such a strong conceptual piece and the fitting on your face must’ve been a meticulous touch that I commend you for! The added LED effect is so charming and actually adds colour to it which is a great job. My following advice from this homework is to really keep up this effort. Not a lot of young queens find their footing this early on in charm school, and it’s nice to see how much effort you’re putting into each thing you do! Good job!
Marina Lumiere
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My accessories are made entirely of a parasol. The parasol had this cool wooden structure that kept it together, and I wanted to replicate it. I hot glued the wood to a lace choker I had, and I then covered the choker with the fabric on the top of the parasol. I then separated the remaining wood from the parasol and used the fabric on my head as a scarf. I admit that I’m not much of a DIY person but I hope you like my accessories!
Analyse: Hello, Marina! I think you've got a cute base idea here, and you've kind of deconstructed the parasol in a creative way, but I don't see much of a transformation. I think going forward, your main challenge is going to be really trying to get creative with your submissions and making sure that they're executed to the best of your abilities. I know you said you're "not much of a DIY person," but especially in situations like this, that's the name of the game. Even if you're a person that doesn't do a lot of crafty stuff, there are so many resources on YouTube and Pinterest and the rest of the internet that you really have no excuse to not push yourself 137% with anything like this. All of the deans and myself are a treasure trove of information, and chances are, if there isn't one of us who has personally made something you're trying to do, a few of us will have good tutorials for it anyways. Push yourself going forward, because I want you to reach your full potential in this competition! Good luck on the test!
SALLY - Hello Marina! I think you have a wonderful take on your colour story here, but unfortunately I don’t really see much of a strong enough concept accessory wise. For me, your step-by-step lacked in any explanation and I couldn’t really follow that well – if it wasn’t for your description you sent in later on, I wouldn’t have known otherwise. Keep in mind that with step-by-steps, we need to know what you’re gunning for! The end goal! I kind of got what you were doing afterward, and I do like the effort you’ve put in, but I just don’t see much of a concept with what you’ve made. My advice to you is to really push your creative ingenuity, for me I see your choker being a full spoked wooden Elizabethan collar and your hat more of a pillbox piece than a headwrap? Popsicle sticks would’ve helped give more volume to your spoked necklace and perhaps creating this headpiece decked out in flowers and rhinestones might’ve elevated your concept a lot more. Good job!
Nikita Nox
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Analyse: BITCH, YESSSSSS! THIS is a ~concept~ and I live for it. I think you know the main problems come in the construction (i.e. back support), and that's definitely something to think about when you're making looks. I know I've run into that problem a few times of making something without really thinking through how it was going to be functional, so moving forward, just make sure that you plan that out when you're getting ready to make a look. Pipe cleaners are tough, because they can get the job done, but they can also read very crafty sometimes, so just be careful with things like that; make sure the construction and execution matches the intent. All in all, I think this is a great submission and a very solid start to what could be a very cool look! Great job, and good luck on your test!
SALLY - Hi Nikita! I think this concept is really strong – it looks really exciting and I think that it’s very unique! Personally, I love food concepts, food makes me happy so this number makes me beam. The support (if that’s really a potato I’ll be honestly shocked) is super strong on the fascinator, but I’m nervous about that showgirl’s tail! What you could benefit from is using a Thrifted belt to kind of hot glue or attach to the popcorn bucket on your waist (they do that in VS for heavier wings!) so that you don’t have what I call Awkward Arm Pose when you don’t affix something to something else right. My advice is to always think “is my concept draggy enough?” I can visualise a look being in a club for like a pageant night or something, but the peacock tail would need a lot more bags – you want all the eyes on you, and the further it, you need to negate the negative space in your tail! Good job!
Ophelia Waters
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For my accessory, I wanted to create a bouquet-like headpiece centered around origami flowers! I started with a base of a styrofoam ball used for fake flowers and a headband, hot-glued together, and then embellished with two type of origami flower patterns, held on using floral wire!
Analyse: Hello! This is so cute, and right away, you can tell the time and effort that went into it. My major complaint is that the monochromatic nature of the accessory is a little simplistic, and I would love to see some color on it. Your construction of it is solid, and honestly, sometimes that's the hardest part is figuring out how to get a piece to even work in the first place, so you've already tackled that battle. I think the next thing to focus on is just making sure that there's a interest in it beyond the construction. Maybe using different colors of paper for some (or all) of the flowers or adding some paper feathers made with a fun paper. You could also play around with some fun patterns of origami paper. Basically, I think you've got a great start to an idea here, but I just want to see you take it to the next level and really give us a fully realized concept. Good job, and good luck moving forward!
SALLY - Hey, Ophelia! First off, I’m in love with how you presented this accessory, it’s very simplistic and elegant and it seems to match your drag aesthetic! The flowers look less like origami and verge on realistic in your final pictures, and the foundation looks sturdy. I commend you for using wire in this – and the combination with foam in this holds up the wire really well. My only problem is that, when it comes to using paper, I do expect people to kind of go a bit further than just use white, white is quite a simplistic conceptual colour and this ties in with my advice going forward! If you feel as if your concept is looking a little too safe for your own liking, think about what else you could add to give it that extra push – for example, if you were to add paint splatters to your flowers in an obscene manner, that could elevate the concept further. Always question little things like “if i add X here, would it work?” and don’t be afraid to run it past anyone really! Good job!
Shillelagh
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Analyse: Hey, Shillelagh! First, I think it was a cool and unique idea to make a weapon as an accessory. It's definitely a different route and shows creativity. I wish the creativity went past the initial concept though. I can't help but feel a little let down by this, especially compared to some of the other submissions. We can only tell you so many times that we want to see more effort, but at the end of the day, this is a bat wrapped in tape with some poinsettias glued to it. You've proved to use that you can have the creative ideas, but you really need to make sure that you have the execution to match, and if that were easy, everyone would be doing this. Push yourself. Try harder. I know you have it in you. Prove me right.
SALLY - Hello, Shille! I’m gonna commend you for choosing something quite out of the box and stylistically different than an actual accessory. It reminds me of like an RPG-like weapon and I think the additions are cute, but! I do feel as if you could’ve pushed it a lot more. I can kind of see a small transformation to what you used as a foundation base for your bouquet-like club. I would’ve loved to have seen you really pile on a lot and tried to transform the baton into something crazily draggy – you could’ve added anything to this to make it a completely different concept (a pearl strand to make it rococo, maybe you could’ve painted the flowers a different colour to make it seem alien and added more crazy weird things, etc.) My following advice is to plan and stick to it, I know a lot of queens in TDR that go into challenges having two or three plans and can’t really stick to one. I know you have so many ideas and we talked about them, you’ve just gotta trust your gut and make sure you slay everyone! Good job!

NDRV3 Transcripts: Rantarou Amami’s Video Message
At the very beginning of each chapter, we get a glimpse of what things are like outside Saishuu Gakuen. In chapter 4, we are greeted by a long-lost comrade. However, his words leave us with more questions than answers, and as suddenly as he left us the first time, he’s gone again.
Later on, in chapter 6, Saihara and company finally get access to the SHSL ???’s Study Centre and find a USB stick containing a little message from Amami Rantarou. It is indeed the same video we saw back in chapter 4, but this time we get to watch it in full.
I haven’t reached chapter 6 myself, but I took the liberty of transcribing just this bit, since a few snippets of it do appear back in ch.4 anyway. Please enjoy!
As usual, @ne0dym is saving me a world of pain and trouble by taking the time to do these transcriptions, so I’m more than happy to translate to English! For anyone curious, this video is incredibly fun to see in full, and clears up quite a few questions those interested in Amami might have. But as this is a video that doesn’t get shown in full until Chapter 6, it naturally will have some endgame spoilers, so be careful with reading!
Tumblr media
…やっ、どうも。今更、名乗る必要はないっすよね?多分、この俺の姿を見て、ますます訳わかんなくなってるはずっす。だったら、まずはその説明からしておいた方がいいっすね…
…Yo, hello there. I don’t really need to introduce myself after all this time, do I? I bet things must be getting more and more confusing for you just by seeing me like this. If that’s the case, I guess I’d better give you an explanation first…
First off, the me that you’re seeing here is undeniably “you yourself.” You don’t remember recording this video because you lost your memories of it. In other words, this video is sent from “Amami Rantarou, before losing his memories”…to “Amami Rantarou, after losing his memories.” Anyway, now on to the main problem. Why am I recording this video…
The truth is, by participating in this killing game, I’m actually allowed to prepare a few special privileges for myself. One of those special privileges is this video message. However, in order to see this message in the first place, you’ll need to have solved the puzzle that Monokuma prepared…
Well, the fact that you’re watching this video at all means you should already have solved it. Also, just know that you’re not allowed to share this video with any of your friends. If you brought any friends in and Monokuma chased them out, that’s the reason why. By the way, I’m allowed one other special privilege, and it’s something you’ve been carrying around with you since the beginning of the killing game. Come on, you know what I’m getting at, right? I’m talking about something you’ve been carrying around since the moment the game started, you know? I thought that as long as you used that well, you could put an end to the killing game with it…
If you’re watching my video message like this, then I guess that means my plan failed. I guess things wouldn’t go that easily after all. Well, aside from those two special privileges, I should be in exactly the same kind of condition as all the other participants. What I mean is…I’ll have my memories from up until now emptied out, and I’ll enter the killing game. By the way, there’s something I’ve been thinking about that Monokuma explained in detail a while ago… This brutal killing game is going to continue “until there are only 2 people left.” What that rule actually means… Well actually, it’s the most crucial part of this whole thing, but…
「ブブー!」
*Bee—p!*
ははっ、さすがにそれはNGワードだったみたいっすね。その先の謎はキミ自身が解くしかないみたいっす。けど、頭のいいキミならきっと大丈夫っすよ。
Haha, looks like that word was off-limits after all. Guess you’ll just have to solve that last riddle on your own. But hey, this is you we’re talking about, so I think you’re smart enough that you’ll do just fine.
…Ah, that’s right. There was one more thing I wanted to say. The truth is, this isn’t the first time I’ve participated in a killing game. I made it out alive of “the last killing game,” as the “Super High School Level Survivor”… That’s the reason behind those special privileges I mentioned earlier. Those are “survivor’s privileges.” However, that doesn’t mean they’re entirely to your advantage. Those who know about your identity will be sure to target you… That’s the main point I want you to be careful about.
あ、それと最後に、これだけは言っておきたいんすけど…これはキミ自身が望んだコロシアイっす。だから、絶対に勝たないとダメっすよ。絶対にね。
Ah, and finally, I just want to tell you this… This is a killing game that you yourself wished for. So that’s why, you definitely gotta win. Definitely.
As this video is more about explaining hints and vital clues, I won’t go too far into meta with it, but I will say that it’s a tremendous amount of fun, and that this video and Amami’s research lab in general increased my liking for him quite a lot when I got to these parts, and I had already been enjoying his concept long before that.
For those curious, this video and other information about Amami does confirm that he indeed had a different SHSL talent in his previous killing game. So those disappointed that SHSL Survivor might not have been “the most interesting” or fulfilled his potential the most don’t need to worry! Like many other characters in ndrv3 at this point, Amami has quite a lot of duality to him, and he’s extremely interesting.
Also, as for the puzzle meant to hide the video on the USB drive–I looked back, and “’i’ wa ‘uma’”/”the ‘i’ dial is ‘horse’” showed up as early as Chapter 2. Meaning Ouma, most likely by snooping around under the school and using Miu-created technology, solved Amami’s puzzle and saw this video as early as Chapter 2, not 4. There’s…not even much I can say to that other than just wow.
Anyway, this was quite a lot of fun to translate, and is perhaps the best clue presented about the “2-person rule” that dominates the last parts of the Chapter 6 trial. While the rule had been mentioned and alluded to in many parts of ndrv3 before, it’s really Amami that provides the main clues to solving that particular mystery, as he’s the only one of them who ever participated in one of these before.
For those who don’t know what that 2-person rule entails, just know that it ties in very specifically with Tsumugi’s attempts to keep the killing game broadcast going forever, and that it’s the reason why Amami is currently here, in this “killing game that he himself wished for” a second time. I can’t help but feel bad for him in so many ways.

It’s time for the showdown you’ve been waiting for! The Mutinous maniac Merc with a Mouth vs the wild world weary wrinkled worn out Wolverine, Deadpool vs Old Man Logan! This issue gets bloody!
Deadpool Vs. Old Man Logan #4 Writer: Declan Shalvey Artist: Mike Henderson Colors: Lee Loughridge Letters: Joe Sabino Cover: Declan Shalvey and Jordie Bellaire Publisher: Marvel Comics
What You Need to Know:
A new omega level mutant has been discovered with the ability to teleport any amount of inanimate material any distance, (like drop a mountain on your head powerful) obviously this has caught the attention of a couple groups of people. Wolverine wants to bring her to the Xavier School for Gifted whatever so she can fight Magneto and eventually be kidnapped to another dimension or whatever, corrupt weapons manufacturer Genform wants to attempt to weaponize her abilities much to the displeasure of people who like things where they are right now, (because she teleports things! Keep up.) and Deadpool, who just wants to rescue her before Wolverine does just so he can rub it in his face later, real superhero stuff.
Anyway, last Maddie (the young mutant in question) was captured by Genform, who ran some tests on her, unfortunately for them they also captured Wolverine, and you know what happens when you stick Wolverine underground in a shadowy government lab! Snukt!
What You’ll Find Out:
We open on Deadpool tearing through a crowd of people using Wolverine’s claws, which Maddie teleported into his body last issue, after testing out a variety of catchphrases (It’s Stabbin’ Time!) Maddie teleports Logan’s claws back in and Logan tells them to run, launching into an impressively bloody attack on the heavily armed security Genform sent down. As the last man dies he whispers something in Logan’s ear…
Deadpool and Maddie reach a door they can’t open (although she could totally teleport it away, is that nitpicking?) and have to stop, Suddenly they are cornered by another, less dead security team than the one from before, Maddie gets Deadpool some swords (holy crap she could be *convenient plot device* Girl!) using her power. As Deadpool starts to chop them up into dozens of pieces he tells Maddie an unsolicited story about trusting others or paying attention to your surroundings, or priorities? Yeah, priorities. Definitely, maybe, probably, priorities.
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
As they triumphantly turn to go, Logan stops them, he’s seen her file, and says she needs to stay and be contained, she’s too dangerous. Logan disagrees and this book finally delivers on the premise of the series, it’s DEADPOOL V OLD MAN LOGAN TIME!!
Who wins the fight? Is there a double dare involved? Read the issue and find out for yourself! Pick up a copy of this fine book today!
What Just Happened? Plot:
This series finally delivered on that parental advisory tag on the front! This issue was seriously bloody, body parts flying all over and everything! This issue was pretty fun in concept but was a little bit lacking in substance, although I liked what was there I could’ve probably summarized the whole book in 3 sentences if I was inclined.
That said this book, like the rest of the series, is a ton of fun and not taking itself too seriously, which is a huge plus. This issue made me laugh out loud multiple times (leg snukt!) and the action scenes were brilliant, we got full blown beserker Wolverine for a minute.
Although not fully explained Logan changing his mind about the kid staying surprised literally no one I’m sure. I mean, it’s not like the X mansion hasn’t had any random jerk attacks over the years, maybe a secret underground bunker is the safest place for Maddie? Eh, I’m sure she’ll just do whatever, drop a mountain on someone or something.
Art: The art in this issue took a turn from good to friggin amazing, clearly giant bloody fight scenes are where Mike Henderson and Lee Loughridge shine! There is one particular splash panel with Logan that is seriously incredible (pictured above), and all the fight scenes toe the line between super well drawn and hilarious in a way that just works.
Rating: 8/10
Final Thought:
It’s not the Godfather or whatever, but this book is a darn good comic book, and a total blast at parts, and more of a blast at others. This issue was a particularly good next to last issue, where many minis get bogged down setting up the finale this issue seems to run straight towards it stabby bits forward!

Staci’s dog has been dognapped! (No, not really.)
Team NF Member Staci’s dog Madi has been dognapped!
(Okay not really. Don’t worry, Madi is okay!)
But in the alternate reality world of Rising Heroes, poor Madi has been kidnapped by a nefarious shadow organization in retaliation for over 2,500 rebels working together last month to track down and capture a hacker operative with ties to the organization.
Alternate reality world? Rising Heroes? Hackers? Madi?
Steve, WTF are you babbling about? I’m lost.
Okay sorry, let me start back at the beginning.
Last month, as I’m sure you heard, Nerd Fitness launched a completely new platform called Rising Heroes, which is our attempt to make ongoing habit-building and self-improvement into a fun, captivating adventure.
Thousands of people joined Rising Heroes in early January. They were onboarded and recruited by one of four factions and immediately began working together to track down and capture a hacker by completing real world daily and weekly missions around a variety of self-improvement topics and categories.
They solved puzzles, found their wingman for accountability, and decoded intercepted, encrypted messages in their hunt to capture the hacker. They walked over a half million miles combined, while also working on better morning routines, healthy cooking alternatives, social missions and personal development throughout the month.
As a member of the broader Nerd Fitness Rebellion, I wanted to give you an update on how this first month went, what we have in store for Month 2, and whether or not Rising Heroes is something that interests you. And I want to leave you with some of the core reasons why it’s working for over 2,500 Rebels and how you can build those benefits into your own system.
To start, let me share an image with from the “Michigan Rebel Squad” a self-formed accountability group of a few guys inside of Rising Heroes. I literally burst out laughing when I read it.
“Lynn… we’re grown as men tracking a fiction hacker by walking in the snow. No need to explain your use of imagination to us.”
HAHA, well said Kenny. Well said.
I realize that for many people, the concept of walking every day trying to hunt down an imaginary hacker is silly. “Why in the world would I do that. It’s freakin’ cold outside. I’m not going to do these small daily and weekly missions just because you make up some story and give me points, Steve?”
That’s fine! If you have a system that’s working for you. Do that! Keep up the progress!
But here’s the thing: This is so much freakin’ fun if you let it be!
What we’ve seen over the last month is the far majority of 2,500+ Rebels really get into and embrace the adventure, the story, and the daily and weekly missions designed to slowly build better habits and level up their lives.
They nerded out, they formed accountability groups, and they used the point system and the deadlines as EXTRA motivation even when they didn’t want to do it… they did it anyway!
Stefanie’s comment reminded me of a survey we had sent out late last year where we got over 10,000 responses from nerds around the globe.
We asked people whether or not they HAD found sustainable change in the last few years. If they hadn’t yet found the habit-changes they wanted, we asked why. And if they HAD had lasting changes and success we asked them HOW.
Most people who have failed to change their lives had cited a lack of motivation, a lack of support, and a lack of time to get things done.
Those who succeeded, however, despite have the same struggles and baggage and busy schedules as those who failed, did things differently:
URGENCY: We all say we’re going to do something, and then we don’t do it unless we absolutely HAVE to. It’s why we always waited til the last minute to write term papers in high school, why we pay our taxes at 11:59pm on April 15th.
When you say you’re going to do something, without a deadline it makes it easy to justify why you can skip it. With a real deadline associated with a goal you’re trying to accomplish, you’re infinitely more likely to do… if there’s accountability associated with the results.
ACCOUNTABILITY: What happens when you skip a workout, don’t work on your book, or miss your training run for your 5k? If it’s left up to you, probably nothing! It’s too easy to skip the things you want to do that require a little willpower. This is why the people who succeed have built accountability into their lives. They know that if they skip their workout they’ll miss out on something, or if they don’t take a certain action it would have consequences. At the same time, completing goals was a positive outcome and thus resulted in a ‘reward’ of sorts for them. This moved the accountability outside of just themselves
SUPPORT: The journey to a healthier life can be a long and lonely one. We often find readers of Nerd Fitness (and members of the team) hide their nerdy pursuits from the world… and once they start the journey to live a healthier life, end up hiding their fitness pursuits from their nerdy friends. We are going to have good days and bad. We are going to have moments when we want to give up. We have things we use to rationalize inaction. Those who succeed have a good group people around them to keep them on target. Always ready to respawn.
Knowing how important those three things were to long-term, sustainable success and an upgraded life, we created Rising Heroes.
And I’m really proud of what we created.
I’m proud because the URGENCY, ACCOUNTABILITY, and SUPPORT are really working for people. Slowly, but surely people are seeing real results – while having a lot of fun.
Here’s a few of the people crushing the habit change aspects:
We’ve also seen some very measurable results in weight loss and overall health activity:
Note: Rising Heroes cannot guarantee that you will get ENGAGED during an actual real world mission during the adventure. Despite that, we are so excited for Cal and her new fiancee! 🙂
With Rising Heroes, fitness and health plays a large role, but is only part of leveling up your life:
“Personal victories aren’t always measured in inches or pounds.”
Again, well said, Nicole.
In Rising Heroes, every recruit has to pick a non-fitness specialization that they will devote time and expertise to on an ongoing basis. We’ve had people dust of instruments for the first time in year, enroll in new classes, start back up childhood passions, and picking up new languages and skills.
With our new missions setting up Month 2, many Rebels are turning a spotlight on their finances, their mobility, their morning routines, and their daily physical activity.
And all this is literally just getting started.
Rising Heroes has turned out to be even more than we could’ve imagined. Thanks completely to thousands of Rebels deciding to buy into the process, tracking their success, and truly joining together to take back control of their lives in every sense of the word.
As Abraham Lincoln once said, “Holy shit! That sounds fun!”
Okay, I don’t know if he actual said that, but he might have!
Anyways, this has been a truly game changing experience for both the Nerd Fitness team and our core group of early adopters that are sticking with it and starting Month Two right now.
As with the first month, we have a small enrollment period where new Rebels can join up and try out Rising Heroes. We shut this off on Thursday of the first week of the new campaigns, so that everyone can move through the rest of the adventure and work together to solve mysteries together at the same time.
Rising Heroes is accepting a few new heroes this week until Thursday at midnight EST.
As with the launch last month, we offering a full 60 day try-it-out guarantee. Come see if this fun structure and style helps you see real changes like others have. If not, email us – no questions asked – we’ll get you completely refunded.
We need help taking on (fictional banking institution) Amego Financial in month two. We aren’t exactly sure how deep this rabbit hole goes, but we are starting RIGHT NOW on the inside with missions to #savemadi and research the reach and influence of this new financial institution.
If you are interested in more information, I also recorded a full video walkthrough of inside Rising Heroes using real example from missions and community events from Month One activities.
To get a sneak peek inside the platform, click here and scroll down to the read banner “Steve walks you through the inside of Rising Heroes…” Super creative naming, I know. It’s the second video on the page about halfway down.
We understand this is an investment and certainly not for everybody, so if this isn’t right for you right now, no worries! We’ll be back to regularly scheduled blog posts on Thursday.
In the meantime though, I have a challenge for YOU regardless:
I want you to take out a piece of paper and write out a plan for 2017.
I want to know three ways you can increase the following, ESPECIALLY if you’ve struggled to stick with your resolutions by now (end of January):
What are real ways you can add urgency and deadlines to your habit-based goals in 2017? Can you schedule calendar updates or reminders? Can you create your own missions for yourself? Can you manufacture urgency to help push you? How?
How can you add another layer of accountability to your current system? Urgency is a great start, but if you aren’t accountable, you’ll just skip the deadline without any consequence. What parts of your life can you tweak today to have slightly more accountability for the deadlines and urgency you’ve brainstormed above?
Lastly, where are you going to go for support? This can overlap with accountability sometimes, but needs to be more well rounded. What will you use to educate yourself? Who will you talk to in moments of weakness? Who will you celebrate with when you hit a streak? There are hundreds of free resources (including most of Nerd Fitness) for you to explore. And it is possible to find and set this up for yourself. How will you do it?
Whether or not you want to try Rising Heroes, I want you to be intentional TODAY about how you will build these three key factors into your own life in 2017.
February can be a tough month for our 2017 goals and ambitions. A lot of people fall off the wagon, but around here we #respawn quickly and get back into the fray.
Let’s keep up the early momentum of January in whatever way works best for you.
We’re here for you!
New YouTube video coming on Thursday around why motivation fails us (and what to use instead), stay tuned!
As you can tell, I’m really proud of this mysterious, goofy, action-oriented adventure we call Rising Heroes. And I appreciate you taking the time to read my giddy Rising Heroes update.
If you want to join us, 2,500+ Rebels and I are waiting for you on the inside. Once you get recruited into your faction, you can start marking off time-sensitive missions immediately. We need all the help we can get, Month Two is going to be crazy.
You have until Thursday at midnight EST to click here and join Rising Heroes for our new February campaign.

Staci&rsquo;s dog has been dognapped!
