Ao’nung x Metkayina F pregnant reader
Tumblr media
~ Y/N a Quiet girl who didnt like drama and avoided any drama and guy who asked for her hand… How did she end up with the Olo’eyktans son? You ask me lolll.
Years ago Ao’nung noticed a girl sitting by the water while his group laughed and played with a group of Kids.. That girl stood out. A lot of people knew her as the odd quiet one, But they did notice her beauty and so did a lot of young warriors.. but she rejected every one she came by.. till she finally faced Ao’nung years later… At age 15 they connected like soulmates even though Y/N didn't like to talk a lot to strangers. Surprisingly she was talkative and nice. She was just shy with new people.. but soon with the help of Ao’nung she started talking more.
years later Ao’nung asked for Y/N hand to be her mate..She said yes in a heartbeat… at 19~ let’s see how the lovely young couple is doing.
~Year 2174..
“Will You be my mate?” He asked Going down on one knee, holding her hand on his forehead, Closing his eyes, waiting for an Answer. “Oh.. Nung.. Yes..” Moving her hand to cup his face.
As he stood up Putting their foreheads together “Always..” Y/N smiled as tears fled down her cheeks.
The news broke through the clans even through some neighboring clans, “You sure you want him??” Lo’ak Laughed about it “Shush child I’m happy to have another daughter” Ronal patted Lo’ak on his shoulders ``it will be your turn soon” Y/N smiled Pointing at Tsireya and Lo’ak as they both blushed in union. “Who knows in the future but let’s focus on you two now shall we.” Tonowari said glaring at Lo’ak with a protective father look.
~A month later Ronal Convinced her son to mate with Y/N tonight.. The moon was perfect, everything was calculated by her and tonight was it. you were going to be his.. and he was going to be yours
Like the Omatcaya have the tree of voices the metkayina have a Cave of Voices, covered in Colorful corals and crystals, symbols on the inside of the cave with some glowing crystals.. as you made the bond for the first time everything felt new and it felt out of this world.. that was the night when 2 souls danced as 1 for the first time..
~9 Months passed quickly now holding a Baby navi boy that you just gave birth to 10 mins ago
ronal said hello to her first Grandson.. "He looks exacly like ao'nung when i had him.." She smiled waving her finger around so that he would hold her finger in his tiny hands " He is pretty cute, let's just hope he wont end up having his personality.." I smiled as she laughed at my comment "I'm sure he wont" as she stood up from the bed "I'll let him in now goodluck." She smiled opening the door "You can go see her now" before she could say anything Aonung flew by his mother to see his child. "Shush dont make so much noise." i placed a finger over my lips shushing him. as he gulpted and sat down next to me. "Meet your father.." I handed him over to Ao'nung helping him hold the baby.. " Hello there son, Ive been waiting for you for a while now.. cant believe how strong your mother is.." he said smiling as he played with him. soon the rest followed Tsireya,Tonowari, Roxto, and the sully's oh and aonung's now 4/5 year old baby brother Zani't ( Random name)
everyone said hello and had some time with the precious baby, but soon everyone left and it was just the 2 of you or should i say 3 of you "You got a name yet? " I smiled looking down at the baby peacefully sleeping in my arms "Ao'nung Jr?" He joked " I wil not call our child ao'nung Jr, No way " I slapped him on his neck "Ow-owh okay okay how about..Käioe?" "Käioe? I like it." i smiled as he kissed my cheek "Käioe it is"
"Our little family was finally starting..."

"so, your... thing bleeds every month?"
you nod
"are you stupid?
"i'm sorry?"
ao'nung clicks his tongue, looking at you with disbelieve. "that means you're doing something, only Eywa knows what, to yourself. and you’re doing it so badly that it bleeds-"
you hit him on the head, "no! what are you even thinking?"
"no, but seriously" neteyam looks at you with concern, "forgive me for watching you, but this morning i saw you wash your blanket that’s literally soaked with blood"
your face starts to heat up, "that means the cloth i use wasn't enough-"
"3 pieces of cloth to soak your blood. and it wasn't even enough?" tsireya's voice filled with worry, "are you sure you're okay? we could ask my mother to patch you up"
"reya, im fine-"
"no you're not! you came to her for painkillers this morning, to mend your stomach cramps!"
"its probably tape worms"
"no shit", rotxo snickers
"or just a real bad constipation"
"rotxo, ao’nung please” kiri rolls her eyes, tired of their stupidity. “they clearly said that the bleeding comes from their other below"
not long after lo'ak snaps his head towards you, mouth agape. "holy shit. i think i know what's going on", then quickly moves closer to you. his face just a few inches from yours, his terrified look terrifies you
"my mother experienced the same things as you, when we were about to have tuk. stomach hurting, below bleeding- "
"no. fucking. way” rotxo clasps his mouth, “are you about to give birth?"
"what?"
ao’nung’s jaw dropped. “who knocked you up?”
“that’s it i’m taking you to the tsahik”
“STOP”
your friends went quiet.
they could only stare at your flushed face as your breathing went erratic.
you gulp, trying to calm yourself down. you close your eyes, inhaling a good amount of oxygent to fill your lungs and letting your mind go blank. then, you could open your mouth again
"as you all know, female bodies bear children in their uterus, yes?"
they all nod
"good. now the uterus, in human bodies specifically, would prepare for pregnancy every month-"
"so you need to get pregnant every month?"
"shut up rotxo"
"wait a minute" kiri cuts you off, "you’re not pregnant, but you’re currently bleeding. so the bleeding occurs when the pregnancy doesn’t happen?"
"yup. because i'm not pregnant, my womb's lining shreds out"
their terrified screams deafens you

Anonymous Request: Can I please request Ao’nung x reader where the reader is pregnant and Ao’nung is super protective over her and then she gives birth and he’s so sweet and caring towards her and his child?
TW: blood, childbirth
548 words
Groaning, I pull myself onto my ilu with measurable difficulty, Kxor, and give her long, slender neck a pat.
"Y/N!"
My eyes roll back into my head at the sound of my mate. I consider taking off without a second glance, but I'm not up for a fight today. Instead, I dismount with as much difficultly as I mounted, and when my feet hit the sand, Ao'nung's hands are on my hips, cushioning the fall.
I take a deep breath and try to remind myself that Ao'nung does this because he loves me, and he loves our child, and he's just overly concerned.
"You should be resting!" he says, his eyes narrowed, his tone exasperated.
"I'm not tired!" I reply, turning to face him. "I want to swim, and ride with Kxor. I am not lame, I am just pregnant."
Ao'nung reaches down, placing his hand on my swollen belly, as the baby dances. "Very pregnant. Mom said you're going to give birth any day now. Please, just be careful. Try to take it easy."
I lean forward, resting my head on his shoulder. He is a little bit right. For most of my pregnancy, Ao'nung has let me carry on as I normally have, but with birth looming just over the horizon, he's gotten a little bit crazy about keeping me within his sight at all times. "Can we at least swim together?"
Reluctantly, a smile crosses his face. "Yes, Paskalin." He takes both my hands, guiding me slowly into the water, and we enjoy a slow afternoon together under the water.
--
As it turns out, Ao'nung was right to be so concerned. By sunrise the next morning, I sit in Ronal's hut, a baby at my breast, in the most pain I've ever felt in my entire life.
Ronal works quietly and quickly, her apprentices at hand, while Ao'nung stares on, watching silently.
There's a lot of blood, but Ronal assures me it's a normal amount - no more than she had with Tsireya. I try to be relieved, and just stare at the tiny child on my chest, but the pain is so much.
"Ao'nung, take her for a moment," I say through gritted teeth. He takes her from my arms in an instant, and I lay back, letting his mother work.
--
Only a few hours later, my world is changed. Ronal is a miracle worker, and the bleeding has stopped, and the pain has subsided to a warm throb instead of a burning knife.
Ao'nung and I are alone, finally, with our son, who has not left my chest for hours.
My mate holds both of us to him, gazing down at our child, stroking his cheek.
"You have done me... the greatest honor of my life, bearing this child. I am so proud of you, and so grateful," he says quietly.
I want to remember this moment forever. The pain it took to get here, the agony I went through, and the happy tears in Ao'nung's eyes as he looks down at his son.
Resting my head on his chest, I close my eyes and take in slow, deep breaths. "I love you," I whisper.
"I love you. Sleep now. Rest. You have worked hard today."
He doesn't have to tell me twice.

Lessons of life
Tonowari x Metkayina!Reader (Sequel to Missed Lessons)
A/N: Listen I know I said Missed Lessons was my Magnum Opus but I'm starting to think that writing for Tonowari in general might be my Magnum Opus, also if you saw me accidentally post this unfinished then no you didn't. Also not that anyone asked but Obstacles by Syd Matters and Look at you by Screaming Trees are Tonowari and Reader's songs in my head. Also also the smut is very little of this fic so if you're here for smut without plot this is not for you. And in case you haven't noticed my fics are never beta read so just act like any mistakes aren't there.
Synopsis: 35 cycles, almost 36, of being Tonowari's closest friend was enough to ensure a familiarity with everything in his life. The walls of his Marui, weaved by hand by his grandfather's father contained intricate patterns that you could trace in the sand from memory. The permanent markings covering his body, each with a story you knew from start to finish although it was rare the story didn't involve you in some capacity. The way people looked at him since becoming Olo'eyktan. Before your heat came, before Tonowari laid you in the sand and made you his.. you never would have believed that familiarity would ever fade. The walls of his Marui are now the walls of yours as well, the pattern's swirls seemingly different to how they were in your childhood. His newest marking, familiar? Yes, a marking to show your mating with a matching one adorning your own body but still, it looked out of place in its freshness amongst the faded and settled ones you had seen for many cycles. The way people looked at him, at Tonowari, your Tonowari.. they now looked at you the same way. His mate, the woman carrying his child.
Fic includes: NSFW so MDNI, pregnancy, mentions of childbirth (mostly talk of pushing, contractions etc and then mentions of the baby coming into the world but nothing graphic), pregnant sex, fingering, squirting because I can't write smut without it, p in v, reader on top because she is quite far along, themes of insecurity from Tonowari and Reader (Tonowari's insecurity of being leader that I totally made up and Reader's insecurity of her relationship with Tonowari), hints of a strained relationship between Ao'nung and Reader, hints of Jake and Reader being besties because it felt right in my heart, a little surprise at the end 🤭, 3.6k overall

Breathe. Breathe. Breathe. Contraction. Deep breath. Hold. Push.
Sweat beads on your forehead and covers your body in a thin sheen. The morning sun beats down on you and despite your position in the cool rippling water you are burning from exertion.
Breathe. Breathe. Breathe. Contraction. Deep breath. Hold. Push.
Every noise around you seems muffled, as if you have your hands over your ears to block them out. You don’t hear the Tsahik finishing her blessings from Eywa, you don’t hear the encouraging words of your clan from the water’s edge or the rumbling echoes of clicks and bellows from the Tulkun in the deep water. Even your own cries are dampened in your ears as your blood pounds.
Breathe. Breathe. Breathe. Contraction. Deep breath. Hold. Push.
Hands land on your shoulders and you jolt out of the daze of your own mind. Your eyes lift from where they were focussed on the lapping waves against your round belly. Meeting Tonowari's eyes you can’t hold back the sob that rips from your throat, the pain was unlike any you had ever experienced. It was a consuming pain, running through every nerve of your body. You try to distract yourself with the way the morning sun hits his eyes, their beautiful blue hue sparkling with specks of turquoise and deep cerulean.
Breathe. Breathe. Breathe. Contraction. Deep breath. Hold. Push.
Tonowari moves his hands to your face, cupping your tear-dampened cheeks in the palms of his large hands. You see his lips moving as he asks you about making the bond with him and despite the pain running through you, you shake your head at the suggestion not wanting your mate to be forced to experience the same pain you are. A conscious part of your brain, not consumed by the pain, is overly aware of the eyes on you both and it aches at the thought of making your mate experience pain so openly in front of the clan.
Breathe. Breathe. Breathe. Contraction. Deep breath. Hold. Push.
Keeping a hold of your face, Tonowari reaches for his kuru and presents it to you, accepting your choice but giving you the option to change your mind if you need to. You stare into the eyes of your mate, his action washing away any negative thoughts your nagging insecurity might have washed to the front of your brain and you nod numbly, accepting his offer.
Tonowari presses his forehead to your own as he connects your kuru with his, the little pink swirling tendrils tying together and connecting you both through mind, body and soul. Eyes clenching shut he embraces your pain as if it's his own, sharing the pain of bringing your beautiful baby into the world.
Images pass behind your eyes in a way that you imagine is similar to what Tsyeyk Suli had called a ‘moo-vee’ one day while discussing his life before his consciousness transfer through Eywa. Memories and feelings so deeply embedded that they can only be brought forward through such a profound connection. Tonowari’s eyes water, whether from your pain now being shared with him or from the onslaught of memories detailing your life together through every twist and turn, you can’t be sure.
Breathe. Breathe. Breathe. Contraction. Deep breath. Hold. Push.
🌿
“Tonowari”
He remembers the low baritone of his father’s voice vibrating in his ears which lowered in shame at his tone. He’d been caught daydreaming instead of paying attention to his father's words once again. Words of his future, how his father was aging and Tonowari would soon have to lead the clan.
Pressure, pressure was what it was. A pressure filled promise of a future set in stone that he would never be able to shake, even if it’s all that his adolescent brain wanted.
A deep sigh made him turn to his father, the look on his face making his stomach turn, a look of disappointment that he would one day be just as masterful at dealing out to his own children albeit not without a simmer of shame.
“You may go, your little friend is waiting for you”
Ears shooting up with surprise, his wide eyes looked at his father. He didn’t understand the position he was in back then, not like he does now. If he could go back he always said he would take it easier on his dad, let up on him a bit for being so uptight.
He remembers running from his Marui, running to you where you were waiting for him in the afternoon sun. Your hair was loose that day, unbraided and unstyled with a rogueness that was uniquely yours. You smiled at him, bright and beautiful as you told him about a place you wanted to take him.
An outcrop, one you had to swim to from the other side of the island where Awa’latlu rested. A place that would hold significance in your lives throughout cycles and cycles. The place where you would create new life to add to yours.
🌿
“Skxawng!”
You remember the offended look that Tonowari shoots at you, your hands weaving a delicate shining shell into his songcord with practiced perfection.
The dark ink of his newest permanent marking is shocking against his skin, covered in a layer of healing salve from the Tsahik.
He was banned from the water, not allowed to get the marking wet or soak it for the next few days so he’s stuck making up his excess time by attending duties with you, annoying you through your daily tasks.
You didn’t realise at the time that Tonowari was happier by your side, watching you work on various duties, than he was in the water with the weight of being the Eykyu (Leader) of the tarpongu (hunting party).
You didn’t realise at the time that Tonowari was a different person with you.
🌿
“Tonowari”
He remembers the shake in your voice, the quiver of your bottom lip as you stared up at him and the tears gathering on your lash line that threatened to spill over.
You were standing off to the side of him and his group of friends who were sitting around a fire. They were talking about something stupid, laughing and smiling. He was relaxed, as much as he could be while knowing he was about to become the Olo’eyktan.
These friends would soon grow to look at him differently, look at him as their leader and not the boy they grew up with but you.. you never looked at him as anything other than himself.
Laughter roused from the group as Tonowari practically sprinted to your side to check on you. He can’t recall why you were crying, why you needed him but he remembers the panic that spread through him when he saw your tears finally spill over and dampen your cheeks.
He didn’t realise at the time that your tears finally spilled not from what had actually gotten you so worked up but from the guilt of pulling him away from his other friends, from making them laugh at him because of you.
🌿
“Skxawng”
You remember calling Tonowari that as he shifted once more from the feeling of your hands on his body. At the time you were annoyed. Your hands were aching from grinding up iridescent shells to make the unique paint in front of you and no part of your mind would have thought that your best friend of 21 cycles was being so inconsiderately mobile because the feeling of your hands on his body was meaningful to him in any other way than just painting him for his ceremony.
The swirls you painted were purposefully reminiscent of the weaving swirls throughout his Marui, a place you had spent a majority of your childhood together in, and the paint you had made for this momentous occasion was dazzling. Fit for the Olo’eyktan to be that was sitting before you.
Fit for your best friend.
🌿
“Tonowari!”
He remembers the cheers of excitement from the clan around him, a grin spreading across his own face to match the ones he could see in the crowd as the Tsahik announced him the new Olo’eyktan in the presence and blessing of the Great Mother.
The weight of the ceremonial cape on his shoulders was a fitting physical representation of the metaphorical weight he had worn for cycles before becoming clan leader and that he would continue to wear cycles on from now.
He remembers pressing his forehead to the Tsahik’s in a respectful display before doing the same with his father, who for the first time in his lifetime seemed to be just that. Not Olo’eyktan now, not a leader or a role model but his father.
He turned to face the crowd, eyes meeting yours from a distance and he allowed himself to look at you, really looking at you.
He remembers a shock going through him at how beautiful you were, light shining on you as if Eywa herself had parted the clouds to let it highlight you amongst the rest of the clan.
He wondered at the time when you’d become so beautiful, when he’d become immune to noticing it. Wondered when your hair had grown from the choppy little cut you ran around with as a teenager to the carefully braided and styled way you were now wearing it. Wondered when you had grown into your body, when you’d developed into a woman with enticing softness and eye catching curves.
He was whisked away before he could speak to you, taken to the side by his mother and father. Shown off to the parents of the Tsakarem, Ronal, someone who he'd always known as Tonowari but was now having to get to know all over again as Olo’eyktan.
🌿
“Thank the Great Mother he doesn’t look like you, Skxawng..”
You remember the embarrassing shake of your voice as you held Ao’nung in your arms, Tonowari’s first born, so small and sweet. Looking so much like his mother Ronal. You wondered in that moment if he’d grow up to possess the same fierceness as his mother, the same bite in his words and bone chilling scowl that she shot at those who angered her.
You didn’t realise at the time looking down at his small, content face that he'd one day turn his mother's fierceness towards you. Throwing out sharp words just to hurt you, questioning you and accusing you of trying to replace his mother when he found out about the life you and his father had created.
🌿
“Tonowari”
He remembers the whisper of your voice behind him as he looked over the Suli family from the Omatikaya. The way your eyes met his own sent a shiver down his spine. It had been cycles at that point since you had called him by his name, a friendship once as strong as the waves of the ocean beyond the reef now settled like gentle ripples.
Your eyes sent him back to his childhood, to a time where you could speak without saying anything, to a time where he was closest to you.
He didn’t realise at that moment how much he really loved you, how much he had loved you his whole life. How the love he had for you was strong enough to cripple him, make him drop to his knees in front of the clan and scream it until his voice was rendered hoarse.
He remembers your eyes flicking to Tsyeyk and how he looked at you, pleading. Your eyes took in the children surrounding Neytiri and Tsyeyk, full of warmth and kindness you had gained over many cycles before they shot to his own once again. Without words he knew what you were saying to him and he agreed.
Despite facing away from you to address the clan he could hear the grin in your voice as you spoke to the Suli family and it took the strength of a leader that he had become more used to possessing to hide his own grin at the sound.
🌿
“Ma’Yawntu”
He remembers calling you that for the first time not even a full cycle ago. His hands were on your shoulders as he begged you to look at him and calm down.
You had both returned from your outcrop, your mixed scents and day long disappearance a dead giveaway to what had taken place.
The Tsahik had approached you both to confirm that you had mated before Eywa and before you had time to truly grasp what this all meant there was an announcement to the Metkayina of their Olo’eyktan taking a new mate. Your mind had finally cleared from your heat only to be bombarded by the reaction of your clan.
He remembers you nodding through the words of the clan, accepting offers from the finest performers of Tā moko (permanent marking/tattooing) to design your Moko Kauae (tattoo on lips and chin of women) to represent your new status amongst the Metkayina. Remembers the Tsahik announcing that there would be a handfasting ceremony in the village wharenui (village meeting hall).
He remembers your breathing starting to pick up, your eyes shifting amongst the many smiling faces before you as you excused yourself and practically ran to your Marui. Practically ran from him.
He approached you a while later, only delayed by having to speak with the Tsahik, finding your curled up form shaking on your bed roll. He remembers gripping onto you and begging you to listen to him.
He remembers the look of relief that flashed across your face as he called you his love and he vowed in that moment, privately and to himself, that he’d never let you go for another moment without knowing well and true how much he loved you.
🌿
“Ma’Tonowari”
You remember the first time it slipped it, the first time you called him yours in front of someone else.
Your hand was clenched around his own large, rough hand and looking back you’re surprised at the lack of reaction he had to your bone-breaking grip.
You’d received Tā moko before, different permanent markings covering your body in different positions and locations but your Moko Kauae was giving you more trouble than you had hoped. The Tsahik had warned you before-hand that your pregnancy might make your body more sensitive to stimulation, painful or pleasurable.
You had no time to be embarrassed, no time to overthink about what the others in the Tā moko whare (Permanent Marking/Tattoo building) may think of your exclamation because, before any of that could happen, Tonowari pressed a kiss against the back of the hand that was squeezing the life out of his own. Grounding you instantly and keeping your brain with him rather than with anyone else.
His eyes trailed the marking being placed onto your skin, a matching Tā moko throbbing on his chest directly above his heart to show his dedication and love for you that he’d experienced for years, finally immortalised on his body.
🌿
“Ma’Tsmuke!”
He remembers the squeal of excitement in your voice as you did your best to make your way to the water quickly, your heavy stomach making your pace more underwhelming than it was in your head.
You’d joined him on a Tsurak as he guided you both to where the Metkayina’s spirit brother’s and sister's were gathered.
He remembers speaking with his Tulkun, his brother. Telling him the tale of your mating and the baby in your belly that was his for you to bear. Remembers watching you swim with your sister, the water taking your weight and making your movements smoother once more.
You had waved him over, presented him in front of your spirit sister in a way that made him flush. He had attributed your gushing words about his strength and how much you loved him to your pregnancy making you more emotional than usual.
He didn’t know at the time that your spirit sister was the only one you felt truly comfortable expressing your pure emotions to other than him. Didn’t know that through the polite smiles and nods at the members of the Metkayina that congratulated you both was a crippling insecurity that used its ugly voice to drag you down.
🌿
“Ma’Yawntu..”
You remember the tired edge to his voice as he entered your Marui for the night. The puffiness of the bags under his eyes almost brought tears to your own as he sat beside you on your shared bed roll.
The day had been long, the tarpongu (hunting party) returning almost empty-handed due to an unexpected Akula in the hunting area and Tonowari blamed himself for every lost fish from the catch and every injury that dotted the bodies of the hunters.
Your own day had been strenuous but nothing could compare to the strength of Tonowari’s ability to blame himself for clan matters.
You remember offering him your kuru, silently telling him you wanted to share his worries and pain while sharing your love and reassurance.
You didn’t realise at that moment Tonowari was convinced you were the most incredibly beautiful thing he had ever seen. Hand outstretched presenting your kuru to him like a gift, large concerned eyes gazing at him with a sea full of love swimming inside them and belly swollen with his child.
🌿
“M-Ma’Wari..”
He remembers the desperate whimper trembling from your lips as he rolled your overly sensitive clit between his fingers, bullying another orgasm out of you that made your eyes roll back in your head and your legs shake.
It had started when you had complained about your appearance, something stupid about the swell of your pregnant stomach and full breasts that Tonowari had taken personal offense to.
Two of his thick fingers collect the slick drooling from your puffy cunt and teasingly circle your entrance before sinking inside you deep enough to brush against your g-spot on their first thrust.
He remembers your hands desperately searching for something to grip on to, one settling in his hair where it gripped hard enough to sting his scalp and the other clenching your bed roll into a fist. His lips trailed from your sweat slick neck, heavily marked by his nips and sucks to your full breasts, latching you your tender nipple and twirling his tongue around it in a practiced motion that made your voice weak every time.
Your pussy clenched around his fingers as you begged for a break before you released a heavy squirt, your orgasm dragged out by his insistent press against your clit.
He had given you room to breathe while he admired the wet spot you left on the bed roll because of him, your swollen cunt twitching with overstimulation and your body trembling from his actions.
Your pregnancy had subdued you slightly, made you a little more pliable and submissive just like the heat that got you pregnant in the first place had but it didn’t subdue you enough to stop you from sending Tonowari back with a shove until his back met the bed roll.
“Skxawng”
You both remembered the roll of his eyes, the smiles on your faces as you sank down on him, holding yourself up with whatever effort you could muster as you took his cock. The stretch was still a pleasurable burn despite the amount of times he had split you open on him during your pregnancy.
Tonowari stared up at you like you were Eywa herself above him, the evening sun lighting you from behind and creating a beautiful image, one he’d remember forever.
“N-nga yawne lu oer”
You had beaten him to saying it again.
Tumblr media
Breathe. Breathe. Breathe. Contraction. Deep breath. Hold. Push.
A relieved sob rips out of your throat at your final push and you very nearly collapse into the arms of your mate who stands before you, eyes no longer focussing solely on you but also on the beautiful baby that your body had made for you both.
One of his large hands stays supporting you at the waist while the other reaches into the water, helping the sweet little life reach the surface for their first breath. Tears of happiness form in his eyes at the sight of his beautiful baby taking their first big gulp of air.
The Tsahik works quickly to remove the shawl placed around you from your shoulders, a shawl that all of the members of the clan had a form of contribution to, whether through harvesting materials or weaving. Wrapping the baby into the shawl, a metaphorical hug from the clan embracing them as your own arms embrace them in the loving hold of their mother.
Meeting Tonowari's eyes you pass him your precious baby, the life you made together and you can’t hold back your grin at the way his arms make the baby look even smaller than they feel in your own.
Looking to the edge of the water, your clan surrounds you and for the first time since mating with Tonowari you don’t question your position.
Eyes meeting Ao’nung’s you can see the apology and pride for you in his own before he can even consider saying anything out loud. You send him a relaxed smile in understanding, the exchange going unnoticed by everyone except the two of you.
“Have you prepared a name to announce to the clan?”
The Tsahik’s words send your brain on the search once more and when your eyes land upon Tsyeyk Suli standing amongst your clan, your brother's and sister’s, his mate and children by his side but missing a member, you know that your decision is made.
Tonowari raises his arms above his head, cradling your brand new baby in his hands as gently as he’s ever held anything before. The sound of excitement runs through the members of the clan who can see their Olo’eyktan’s new baby.
The low baritone of Tonowari's voice rings out, loud enough for the clan, the Tulkun and even Eywa herself to hear as he announces the name of your son.
“Neteyam!”

Hey!! I was wondering if you could make an Ao'nung x Sully reader. Where when the sullys arrive aonung is interested in the reader and hes always nice to her and only her which his friends notices and teases him about. Then im guessing 5 weeks of the sullys staying there the reader and aonung are close where its like dating (but not dating, yk?) And then u ask aonung to meet u somewhere at night (like a date) which he agrees then while ur there he never showed up so u walk back home but on the way u see aonung with a girl and u get mad and walk past them and aonung calls for you but u go home then the next morning aonung explains everything? (happy ending thoo) IF YOU DO THIS THANK YOU SM!! <3
Ao'nung x Sully!reader
genre: fluff
a/n: here you go! thank you for your request :))
sorry for any grammar mistakes
With sun rays caressing the markings on your back, you disconnected your queue from your exhausted Ikran and offered your hand to Kiri who has been accompanying you on the banshee throughout your journey to the reefs to seek refuge from the Metkayina clan. She grasped your hand, taking a notice of its rough surface, and slid off the creature with a huff.
The reception by the Metkayina was less than welcoming, especially by their tsahìk Ronal, who circled around your family with a spark of disapproval in her eyes. She lifted Kiri's hand to show her people the extra finger she shared with Lo'ak and your father, claiming you all have demon blood. You placed your hand on Kiri's shoulder to encourage her to move in front of you and escape the frightened looks of the Metkayina and earned a growl in return from the pregnant woman. Neteyam followed suit and pushed you in front of him to shield you from the curious children who tugged on your tail, giving the opportunity to the chief's siblings to acknowledge your presence.
That was when the disgust was replaced with unexpected interest.
Ao'nung began to study your every curve, each marking that decorated your different shade of blue, the way you scrunched your nose when his mother hissed at yours. He tilted his head slightly and took a notice of the matching bracelet you had with the eldest Sully child, frowning at the sight. It was clear that the two of you shared a strong bond and several facial features he found quite pretty on you, but on your brother? Not much.
He wasn't fond of your siblings and decided that it was his mission to make your stay and adapting to their culture difficult, except for you. Ao'nung, for some unexplainable reason, excluded you from his obnoxious teasing. Instead of fooling around and making fun of your frustration when you couldn't master your ilu, he offered you advice on how to do it properly.
His friends noticed the nice behavior towards you, especially after his gaze softened whenever you ran up to their group to rescue your younger siblings, Kiri and Lo'ak, from their nasty remarks. They started teasing him about it and with you passing by, they would playfully punch his shoulder and chant your name to catch your attention.
It's worth mentioning that they received some bruises from the firstborn of Tonowari and Ronal.
To Lo'ak's dismay, you couldn't adapt to the Metkayina ways and struggled to stick by their side underwater. Because Tsireya was busy teaching the rest of your siblings, Ao'nung was entrusted with the task of helping you out. That brought you closer to the Metkayina boy whether you liked it or not, but you weren't complaining. He brightened up your time under the water and showed you beautiful places you could only dream of visiting.
He would occasionally tease you around your brothers to reveal your newly created friendship and flick the back of your head with a toothy grin, making Lo'ak gag.
"Stop," you chuckled and swatted his hand away from your reddening cheek when he pointed out that his compliment made you blush. "Ao'nung, I mean it!"
The boy bit his bottom lip to stifle his laugh, letting you slap his knee. Ao'nung insisted that you take a break after you almost drowned because you were distracted by the colorful corals around you and forgot you had to resurface to breathe. Your side was pressed against his, the contrast of your skin color illuminating the surface of the rock you were sitting on, legs swaying in the clear water.
You pulled away from his turquoise body in thought, his hand slipping down your back in the process which left a trail of electricity behind. Ao'nung narrowed his eyes at your intense frown and shifted in his spot, uncertainty replacing the comfort he found by your side.
You turned to face Tonowari's son, allowing him to catch a glimpse of fear in your yellow eyes he grew to adore. "I was thinking," you began, his shoulders tensing under your gaze. "I mean- it's probably pretty stupid of me to ask, but.."
Ao'nung put his hand on your thigh and left gentle rubs behind as you exhaled deeply. You lifted your eyes to meet his light blue ones, your worry vanishing. "What if-- I don't know.." you trailed off and started to fidget with your fingers. He was patient and let you find the right words to use. "What if we meet here, tonight. Just for fun."
The corner of his lips curved upwards when you winced at your voice crack. He continued to massage your leg as he gazed at the horizon, debating his answer. "Or not! It's totally fine! It was stupid of me to even think--"
"Sure," he locked his eyes on you, soft smile decorating his face.
You slapped his shoulder playfully, scoffing. "You scared me! I literally thought you were going to decline."
Ao'nung chuckled, bringing his hands up. "My bad."
___
Pandora is always breathtaking during the day, but when the sun begins to set, the beauty of the moon increases.
You trailed a hand through the clear shallow water, your fingertips playing with the sand in boredom. To say you were disappointed would an understatement, but you weren't disappointed in Ao'nung, you hated yourself for believing he would actually show up.
You should've believed Lo'ak. You should've listened to him when he caught you sneaking out of your Marui to "get some fresh air before bed" and told you that your date won't show up, but you waved him off and asked him to cover for you while you were away.
With a heavy sigh, you picked yourself up and pulled out the blossoming flower Tuk plugged for you, twisting its stem between your fingers.
On your silent journey back to your Marui, you caught a glimpse of a familiar hairstyle standing out of earshot on the shore where Lo'ak swung his fist in Ao'nung's face for Kiri two weeks ago. It was hilarious to listen to afterwards. Kiri mimicked the surprised expressions of her bullies and recreated Lo'ak's effective punch.
You narrowed your gaze at the figure whose back was facing you and dropped the flower on the ground in shock.
Ao'nung was speaking to an awfully beautiful girl you stumbled upon when you were playing with the Metkayina children and Tuk in the afternoon. You felt imitated by her unique appearance with just one glance in her direction.
You scoffed at the sight in the distance and licked your lips. Crushing the blossom with your foot, you stormed past them with clenched fists and didn't dare to turn around when Ao'nung called after you.
Maybe you were naive to think he could return your feelings, but you definitely weren't the type of Na'vi who would cry their eyes out if their date didn't show up.
Ao'nung messed up, he was aware, but before he could reach you, you were pushing Neteyam out of the entrance of your new home.
___
"Where can they be?" you tap your chin in fake thought, your ears flickering when a wave of sweet giggles fill the morning breeze. You cover your growing smile behind your hand and follow the sound of your sister shushing the other girls who wanted to join you after they witnessed Tuk getting splashed with water by you. You peek behind the wicker basket full of useful objects your family received from the Metkayina people and wrap your arms around one of the girl's waist to pull her out of their hiding spot. "Gotcha ya!"
The rest of the children runs out with a mix of screaming and laughing, trying to rescue their friend who is comfortably sitting in your arms.
"Y/n," your smile falls along with your shoulders, the sweet atmosphere changing. You place the girl down and face the owner of the voice, arms crossed over your chest. "Can you please let me explain--"
"What's there to say? That I sneaked out for you and you didn't bother to show up?"
"You sneaked out?" Tuk inquires, her hand landing on the side of your thigh. Your gaze widens, "Y/n!" your sister smacks your leg.
"Go play with the girls," you push Tuk towards the Metkayina kids with a nervous chuckle, but relax when she shrugs her shoulders and skips to her new friends.
"I didn't mean to ditch you," you scoff at his words and roll your eyes. "I mean it." He takes your hands in his, securing them in a tight grip. "What you saw yesterday is not what you think it is."
"What is it then?"
Ao'nung glances around you two, noting the number of people that can possibly catch him pulling you into his embrace. You stumble a bit when your body hits his, cheeks reddening. His fingers caress your back gently as he exhales heavily in your hair.
"My heart beats for you," your breath hitches when he presses your palm on his chest, on the rapidly beating organ. "And only for you." He pulls away, his hands traveling to your flushed cheeks. He smiles at your flustered state. "I'll make it up to you, I promise."
"You better."

Syawn ch 2
request:
Halo Hello Halo! I hope you are having a mighty fine day/night!
I hope this is alright but could I request a neteyam x avatar,na'vi! Reader?
Basically the reader is pregnant with what's supposed to be their first born. However, fate would have it that y/n would give birth to triplets! A never before heard of phenomena, due to na'vi usually having children one at a time and even then twins were a very rare event to occur!
I dunno I just like the idea of reader giving birth to triplets much to the sully family's surprise. Plus I couldn't help but think of how funny it would be for neteyam to be pacing outside the door for hours and the almost faint when finds out he doesn't just have one or two babies, but three!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is part two of Syawn request. Go check that out before reading this one! Now that aside! here is the awaited chapter two! enjoy!
Syawn series
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This communion with Eywa will be one for the books. Or in this case, a mark in na'vi history. Word spread of Eywa's miracle. Three na'vi children born at once! and from a dream walker no less!
All na'vi clans near and far wanted go and see for themselves. Because many refuse to believe such words, thinking its merely lies. But curiosity got the best of them.
When a day was set for the triplets communion with Eywa, many clans were set to witness it for themselves.
When such news got back to the Omatikaya clan, the world "overwhelmed" doesn't even begin to cover what everyone is feeling. While it is a huge honor for the clan to receive such guests, there is so little time to prepare who knows how many!
While jake and neytiri who are respectfully the Olo'eyktan and Tsahik of their clan, it was neteyam and syawn that were overwhelmed to the max.
So many people are coming to see their children bond with Eywa. The fear of seeing so many people just because of a impossibility happened.
Neyetam and syawn worry for their little ones as many people can scar them. Only having them for a few days and already both parents are being over protective and only want to keep their children safe.
"is this right...?" syawn asks neteyam as they gently rock the children's large basinet with them sleeping. "Let so many come see them...?" syawn says with clear worry in her eyes. Afraid that maybe what is happening isnt right.
"This is the first time many clans have come to see another's communion. It is a high honor....but I understand you yawne..." neteyam looks down at his sweet children. So small and already the three were making a impact on the world.
"to have them be shown like some spectacle, I fear the clans would see them as something else. Tell me nete, am I in the wrong? is this just my mother instincts seeing danger everywhere?" syawn goes on.
Neteyam brings her to his chest, her arms over his neck and his around her hips. The need to be closer to each other as means for comfort never dimmed with time.
"I can speak with my parents...I know they will understand and take our side" neteyam suggests. He felt his mate nod, her breathing slow as she relaxes in his embrace.
Tumblr media
However as much as jake and neytiri understands their concerns, it was too late. By the next day, three clans arrived.
The Tipani clan, Anurai clan, and the Twakami clan.
And they all brought gifts for the children and the parents. Neteyam and syawn were grateful, but their worries never waivered despite the kind generosity the clans showed.
As the day goes by more clans appeared, even their closest ally, the Metkayina clan. Ao'nung and his beloved tsahik, Unyor came as well as bearing gifts from their island.
Tonowari and ronal, aged well but still in their prime, congratulate the couple and surprisingly, they along with the other metkayina members were allowed to the see the triplets first before everyone else.
Syawn understands the deep trust the sully family has with the metkayina clan, so she puts her trust in them too.
Ronal, Tonowari and their youngest, Ti'ong were given the privilege to carry one of the triplets in their arms. Ronal was happy, even though she isn't Tsahik anymore, she still blessing them like one. Giving each one a prayer and to hope for them a bright future.
As a warrior, Tonowari senses great strength in each of the little ones, sensing their hearts beating mighty and strong. Why, the one he holds already has a strong grip on his finger. That says a lot about them.
Ti'nong was looking at them with love and adoration in the young one's eyes. So small and so cute! Already seeing themselves as like a older distant cousin. But a fun cousin no less!
Ao'nung and Unyor were next to carry the two. Ronal held the other triplet a bit longer. Reminding herself of when her children were young.
"May Eywa bless you three with thriving joy and great bliss. Enjoy the gift she has given you and brace it to the fullest" Unyor says as she blessed the children. Syawn smiles, feeling pride and joy that her children were giving such blessings.
"I still don't understand how it is possible" ao'nung says, still confused of seeing triplets for the first time in his life.
"believe me brother, we don't either" neteyam replies.
"It is Eywa's will. She saw syawn worthy and blessed her with a great gift. That all is to it" ronal quickly tells. As Tsahik, one of the main things to do is try to understand and interpret what Eywa's will is and repeat it to the people.
Tumblr media
The time came, where neteyam and Syawn's children would have their communion with Eywa. Thousands of na'vi from many tribes came to witness it. To see for their eyes of three of a kind na'vi.
Neytiri took charge, smiling happily as she recites the words, as neteyam, syawn, and kiri were each holding one of the triplets.
Neytiri took her time on each child, gently holding their queue and connecting them to one of the hanging vines, feeling joy as she is reminded of her children's communion.
She makes eye contact with neteyem. Love and pride seep from her golden eyes, smiling proudly at her eldest son.
"I am so proud of you ma'itan" she says lowly. Neteyam smiles, "thank you sa'nok". She goes to syawn and they make eyes contact with the same love and pride.
"May Eywa bless you ma'ite, to live long enough to see your children thrive. Protect and love these beautiful children unconditionally" neytiri says. Syawn nods and smiles lovingly, "yes, with all my heart".
It was a beautiful sight. Kiri felt proud to be part of the communion, to see her brother and his mate smile and beam with joy. She knows Eywa feels the same, deep in her heart.
Seeing the three children's golden eyes light up, smiling in daze. She wonder's what the triplets are seeing. Maybe seeing their great grandfather, Eytukan, or someone else. But either way, she is happy to see them happy.
Tumblr media
After the communion, the celebration was large and loud. Many still hand neteyam and syawn gifts. There was so many, it began to build a hill. From fruits, medicines, beads, necklaces, bands, bows, arrows, you name it. There was so much, the parents believed they wont worry about shortage. All the Olo'eyktan's and Tsahik's gave their blessings to the triplets. Their eyes now believing the expansion of Eywa's gift.
For what they witnessed will be told throughout time. That the future generations must know about this wonderful night.
Tumblr media
By the end of the night, everyone was tired. Syawn and neteyam brought their children back home. Where its warm, safe, and cozy. The children themselves were tired and slept peacefully, the three holding each other and snoozing as one. The three tucked in their big soft bassinet and syawn rocks them gently.
Neteyam adds beads to their children's songchords, singing out their life story, even if its short. Now a new bead to add of their communion. Syawn doing the same, as parents seeing their children connection with their great mother for the first time. She adds three purple colored beads, different shades, one for each child. She sings of her love and joy into her songchord.
Neteyam and syawn hug each other once more, and once again looking down at their children. Love is all they feel for their little ones. As they can only hope and see what will become of their little ones. And Eywa wonders too, to see what her little three souls will do with her gift.
Tumblr media
Aaaaaaaaaaand that is it for ch 2! I loved this one and I hope you all do! Until next time! see ya!

Ok so I had a thought 😜 Ao’nung x reader where she gets her 🩸while they’re doing it. I don’t think Na’vi get periods so I guess reader would be an avatar. Not really heavy detail on the actual smutty part but just about how he’d comfort reader after he clams down because he gets a little scared 😫

Oneshot: How do you stop it?
Ao'nung x fem!avatar!reader
Words count: 919
A/N: WHY DO I LIKE THIS SO MUCH?!! [ik it's short and m sorry bout it but hope you like it]
Warning: mentions of sex, mention of p in v, aged up characters 18+, bleeding (not by injury), menstruations, femavatar!reader, worried Ao'nung, kinda fluffy?
Na'vi vocaboulary: Tawtute: sky person/human, Skxawng: moron
"ARE YOU SURE YOU'RE OK??!" he blurted out as he held you by your arms shaking you back and forward. "I am but don't shake me so hard!" you said looking at your really worried boyfriend.
This is a very simply way to explain what happened. You two were having some horny and healty sex, right then your period decided to knock in. Obviously Ao'nung started to freak out and IMMEDIATLY stopped his movements. Currently you two were sitting on your knees in front of each other, still naked, as you tried to calm him down.
"Ao'nung i'm fine, this is normal for the sky people" you started explainin as long as it looked like he calmed himself down a bit. "But you're bleeding I-, are you sure I didn't- you know... cause it?" you raised an eyebrow.
this was actually pretty funny. "theres no way you did 'Nung" you chuckled.
"I mean i was... we were... AND THEN YOU-" he got interrupted as you took him by his shoulders and squeezed him lightly. He was really freaking out. "Ao'nung. I'm fine." you said looking him straight in the eyes. His breath started to slow down as he stared back.
"Look i'mma just explain it to ya." he nodded at your words. " but first I'll be needing something that looks like a pad..." you murmured looking around. You took the cloth that was thrown away some minutes ago by none other than Ao'nung and wore it again.
"So. you know I have an avatar body right? Just like Jake i used to be a human so a tawtute." He nodded again. "back in earth, once every month, after reaching the appropriate age, a female gets this bleeding and it's called period."
"It usually lasts 5 to 7 days but varies from woman to woman. Once it's over the woman is fertile so she can become pregnant." He looked a lot confused but still nodded at your words. "therefore, women on earth needs this to happen, otherwise they cannot have children."
"Plus when i got transferred into my avatar body it didn't change." he blinked looking at you with a kinda blank stare. "So it's normal for you to bleed from your vagina?" He asked looking stunned. You chuckled "Yes you skxawng" you smiled caressing his hair.
He hugged you close and hid his face onto your shoulder "Is there a way to stop it?" he murmured in the crook of your neck "I don't want you to suffer." he drew circles on your stomach and then laid his full palm onto your navel covering almost your entire belly. He placed sweet kisses all over your neck and collarbone, he never treated you so gently. I mean of course he did, but never THAT gently.
You just laid there and closed your eyes as he just cuddled you and snuggles into you. The cramps were starting to kick in but as his warm hands were laying onto your belly and his tail was wrapped around your waist keeping you close, you weren't paying attantion to that. Or to anything around you.
"Can we make tsaheylu?" your eyes shot open at his words. "I wanna feel how you're feeling right now"
You knew you two were already mated but just by words. Just by Eywa's words you didn't bond yet. "Are you sure?" you asked slowly looking at him "I am".
"All right then." you handed him your braid. He reached his back taking his and slowly approaching the pink tendrils that were moving around impatiently searching for the connection.
Your tendrils met. In that moment all you could feel was Ao'nung. His breath, his heart, his blood rushing, his worry, his love. Your pupils dilated as you both colud feel each other.
He leaned down and kissed your lips gently before laying back down massaging your belly with slow strokes. "I can feel everything Y/n. I'm here with you don't worry."
"Says the one who just freaked out" you jokingly teased placing a kiss on his forehead. "I really wanna make it stop. I don't want you to feel such a pain".
"I'm used to it really-" he placed a finger on your lips "nothing as my consent to make you suffer." he said looking directly in your eyes. Your heart squeexed at his words making you smile uncontrollably.
"remember i can feel everything. And you're the one who said we can't fuck if you're in this state." he mockingly said with a shit eating smirk plastered on his face.
There he was. That frendly little shit who always found something to make you nervous about. "Aw stop it!" You hit his arm causing him to laugh softly as he kissed you again.
He placed his forehead on yours closing his eyes and holding your cheek with one hand.
"Actually there is a way..." you murmured breaking the silence "but i don't think it would be a good-" you got cut off as he speedily got up and leaned closer staring into your orbs. "Tell me about it my love". Blood rushed to your cheeks as youblushed heavily at the nickname.
"W-well i must get pregnant but it will stop just till-" He stood up at the speed of light "As soon as it's over we're gonna mate so many times that you not getting pregnant is not even an option."
Well guess who was gonna stop him.
Certainly not you.
A/N: here you have anon hope you liked it ;333

hiding in plain sight . (prologue)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: ao'nung x omaticayan!reader
summary: your mother worked alongside miles quartitch in the sky people battle. as a dreamwalker, similar to grace, she got pregnant (occurrence unknown.) after miles' death, the sky people retreated. you grew up alone on pandora, afraid of what was outside of your make-shift sanctuary, until one day you go hunting and bump into some of the sullys.
word count: 1.3k
warnings: like 2 seconds of angst
Tumblr media
as you frantically scrambled around your hut of trees and leaves, a ripped (and mostly fluff-less) pillow, and organization of old blankets you found from the abandoned pods, the day you had been dreading for a few weeks had finally came.
you were out of food.
of course, for any na'vi this is no big deal, all they have to do is go hunting. however, in your case it isn't exactly that easy. the other omaticayan do not know you exist. your mother, jasmine brooks, worked for miles quartitch, who (you quickly learned) wasn't the best person to know on pandora. during the sky people war, your mother as a dream walker was concieved. although the answers to how are still unknown, you were born with five fingers, five toes, and eyebrows, resembling human features more than na'vi. the sky people had no time to react, and with no clue how to deal with you, abandoned you.
luckily, you were just about 3 years old when they abandoned you and understood the basics of life-- walking, peeling fruits and such. you had to train yourself to hunt, to make your own loincloths, and other necessities. you never went hunting much, in fear you would be discovered. so, once every three months, you would wait until night to hunt until the sun rose, to have enough food for the next few months.
the last cycle was five months ago, thank eywa for that. however, you knew you were too lucky, as your next hunting spree would need to begin today. in the morning. you had no food for the rest of the day, and you didn't want to hold out, you were skinny and rationed enough. you grabbed your bow and your arrows and carefully snuck out of your hut, beginning your day-long hunt.
about an hour has passed, and it seemed to be going great so far. you had quite a bit of spartan and yovo fruits to get you through for a week, and you decided you'd get your months worth stash next week. on your way back, you had begun to dig into a yovo fruit, one of the smaller ones, when suddenly you heard murmurs.
"tuk, keep up!" you heard a boy shout.
your ears tilted up as you turned your head in the direction of the noise. you said nothing as you backed away, afraid running would bring too much attention your way.
"bro, why'd you bring her anyway?" you heard another boy say, a hint of annoyance in his voice.
something about the scene, instead of scaring you, enticed you. you inched closer to the voices, finally stopping behind a tree. you peeked between two branches like a window as you stared at the 4. it was a na'vi boy, braids pulled back into a ponytail, leading the group. quickly following behind was a na'vi girl, younger than the rest, swaying her tail as she leapt across the log following him. a taller girl, strolled behind casually, as the human boy caught your attention, with a breathing mask on.
"she's such a crybaby." the na'vi boy huffed, and the steps on the grass you once heard stopped. "she's all, 'i'm telling! you're not supposed to go to the battlefield. i'll tell mom if you don't let me come.'"
the youngest one, most likely who tuk is, stuck her tongue out at the na'vi boy. you smiled at her remark. the older girl blurted out a quick "don't pick at her," looking at him with disapproval.
they continued on their path, and you quickly ran to drop your fruit off and follow them. it looked like they were heading to the pods, and miles' old suit. you passed by thousands of times, breathing in your mothers old mask or sitting in her pod (unfortunately someone seven, eight feet tall cant lay in a five foot pod.) you followed the familiar path as the four began to speak again.
"come on," na'vi boy spoke again. as he climbed up to the crashed ships, the three of the other companions followed.
"oh, sick." the human boy called. you began to walk further out, uninterested in the chance of "any dead bodies up there," that tuk claims to want to see. you followed the older na'vi girl, as she walked further into the nature. she brushed her fingertips against the branches and lifted her arms to twirl with the leaves, before eventually laying down in the grass. you stepped closer to her, before freezing. you saw the many atokirina that flew ahead of you, and calmly circled themselves onto the girl.
you stared in awe as she lay asleep, the spirit seeds of eywa sitting on her, before they buzzed away. it was like she just got blessed? you had no clue what happened, and reached out to one of the atokirina to graze it-
"hey!" your head whipped up to the human boy. you quickly took off, brushing past him. "what were you doing? get back here!" he shouted, dashing after you before he shouted.
"lo'ak! tackle that girl, i think she hurt kiri!" you looked around, for any signs of lo'ak, the now name-assigned na'vi boy. after not seeing him, you took off for safety before you were pinned down by lo'ak.
"who are you?" he blurted out.
"get off me!" you protested, twisting and turning as you reached for your knife.
he quickly stopped you, but froze when he grabbed your hand. slowly, he put his hand up to yours. it took you a minute to realize what he was doing, until you looked. your hands matched up perfectly, but that isn't supposed to happen unless..
"are you a dreamwalker?" you both asked, and looked at each other in shock. "what do you mean are you a dreamwalker? stop copying me. why are you saying everything i say? stop it!"
the human boy interjected. "wait, what are you guys talking about, 'dreamwalker?'"
"she has five fingers."
the boy turned to look at you, before walking up and looking at her hands. "so, what- do we take her to dad?" "no way, he'll kill us if he knew we came this far."
"he'll kill us if we don't tell him the sky people are back."
you watched the two argue for a moment, before lo'ak finally sighed and gave in. he looked back at you. "sorry dreamwalker, gotta turn you in to big boss." he said before tapping his neck, as you caught sight of the little mic he had.
"but i'm not a dreamwalker."
the boys both froze and looked at you. "so, what are you?" the human boy said.
"well, my mother was. i'm just.. a freak." you said, wiggling your pinky.
lo'ak hesitated for a bit, looking at you. he had no clue whether to believe you or not. he grew up thinking he was a freak for his fifth finger, his eyebrows, his demon blood. now, this girl that laid before him could be like him. or, she could be what he's sworn to not. a sky person. a demon. he pressed his mic.
"devil dog, devil dog this is eagle eye, over." he spoke.
after a moment, they heard static and then a male voice spoke. "eagle eye, send your traffic." the male said. you stared off into the distance.
"we found this girl, she looks like an avatar, but she says shes not a dreamwalker. she has five fingers though, and we've never seen her before." you had begun to wriggle under his grasp, not wanting to be caught. "let me go!" you protested.
"where are you?" the male on the other line said. lo'ak looked at the now returned human boy, with kiri, and hesitated before answering. kiri mouthed a snarky remark to lo'ak that you couldn't hear, but it made lo'ak wince.
"oh. we're.. we're um.. attheoldshack." he said quickly.
"who's we? who's with you?"
"me, kiri, spider... tuk."
you heard a faint gasp in the speaker on his neck, and looked over at tuk as she said to kiri, "is dad coming for us?"
"dad's coming for lo'ak's ass, definitely." lo'ak hit kiri on the shoulder, as he continued to lean on you with his knee on your back, one hand pinning your wrists together.

THE SONG IS NOT MINE!!! IT'S CALLED: if the world was ending.
BEAUTIFUL ART OF OLDER AO'NUNG IS ALSO NOT MINE, FULL CREDITS TO THE ORIGINAL OWNER/ARTIST. here's the link where i found it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Y/N has always been mysterious. Even as a small child, Ao'nung remembered her as a small, quiet girl. But even when he got to know her, and played with her in the water, she never told him anything about herself. He could talk for hours and she said nothing.
He started liking Y/N as a teenager. She was really pretty, not pretty, beautiful, and caught the eyes of many. Ao'nung had to fight for her, for her favor. For the favor of the mysterious beauty, as he called her. That nickname got on Y/N's nerves.
But Y/N didn't want him. She didn't want the others either.
Ao'nung didn't understand. He went then, 15 years old, to his father, all unhappy with Y/N's rejection.
"Son, now listen carefully," Tonowari told him.
His wife, Ronal was amused by this, she liked that the girl taught her son a lesson that he doesn't always get what he wants. Of course, she felt sorry for him. But it brought a smile to her lips that her son is growing up. She was sure that girl liked him, she knew it from the way Y/N looked at her son. They were too young to have serious love.
"You shouldn't tell your mother this. But Y/L/N's girls were always mysterious as well as beautiful. So very much. Ah. I knew her mother, Ao'nung. She was a beautiful woman. Honor to her memory,"
Ao'nung never knew Y/N's mom, Y/N didn't like to talk about her. It was known that she died because someone from the sky people killed her.
"If I didn't know your mom back then, I probably would have thing with her. And maybe not. She already had a thing with Y/N's father by then." Tonowari thought.
"Dad, what does this have to do with what you want to tell me? Ugh,” Ao'nung rolled his eyes.
"Sorry! I want to tell you, son, that the girl has some secrets that she doesn't want to tell you. Some painful secrets like her mother. You know, she may be beautiful, but is she worth it? To love someone who will never reveal himself to you?"
"Marriage is not boring then, you still have the opportunity to learn something about each other," Ronal appeared out of nowhere.
"Ronal," Tonowari said and Ronal apologized with her eyes and walked away with some herb she had come for. She left them alone.
"But mom is right, dad. I want her and one day I will have her," Ao'nung declared confidently.
His father messed up the hair on his son's head. “Okay, Ao'nung. But wait a little longer, because now you are a child. And she's too. Everything will come. And choose with your heart, not your mind. Whether she will be your wife or another, love each other."
10 years later
Y/N was holding the blue flower Ao'nung had given her. Olo'eyktan. Her husband.
This year was so sad. For the whole clan. Tonowari died. In battle. Ao'nung didn't take it well and Y/N stood by him. She wiped his tears and comforted him. But Ao'nung had to become their leader. He has to be Olo'eyktan like his father. Y/N knew his father would be proud of him.
"But he would like you to stand up. To be strong," she put her hand on his shoulder.
Ao'nung took her hand and looked into her eyes. She was now his support in these difficult times. Not that he didn't have support from his pregnant sister, but his sister had enough of her worries. He didn't want to bother her. And his mother? She went away somewhere. She needed to be alone. After all, she lost her husband.
Only Y/N didn't leave him. She stood by him. She always stood by him. It was strange, Ao'nung sometimes acted like a jerk, but for some strange reason, she was always there for him. She once revealed to him that it was because she liked him.
"Ao'nung, I look at you and see a strong leader in you. Like your father. You will be a wise and strong leader. I am proud of you,"
Ao'nung dropped to his knees before her and kissed her hands.
"What are you doing?? Get up!” Y/N ordered him.
Ao'nung ignored her.
“Y/N… be with me. Rule with me. I love you."
Y/N had tears in her eyes. "Ao'nung..." she didn't want to believe what was happening. Her childhood friend, who had been chasing her for years, had grown up and become a man. And now he is kneeling in front of her and begging her to become his wife.
"Please. You are my only comfort. Hope."
"Yes. Ao'nung. Yes.” she threw herself around his neck and Ao'nung kissed her tears away. They kissed each other's tears. They always loved each other, even though Y/N took longer because.. she didn't even know why. But she knew one thing her heart belonged to Ao'nung.
╭┈◦•◦❥•◦ Ao'nung slept hard. Y/N didn't. It didn't make sense, they made love all night, they promised each other their love, they mated and they were married. She should have been tired. But she wasn't. She stared at the sky full of stars.
She turned and looked at her husband. He was so handsome. He always was, but now he seemed the most handsome to her.
She had one thing to do. She simply had to. She had to say goodbye and start over. She hoped Ao'nung would forgive her. He might not even notice.
She kissed him and stood up. She threw on her clothes and quietly went to the water. The whole village was asleep and that was good. She quietly called her Ilu. Then she stroked it and they set off.
She had to go to the Tree Of Spirits.
The sea was so magical at night, everything was lit up and sea life was bustling under the water.
When they reached their destination, Y/N sent Ilu away and went to the tree. She connected her braid to the tree.

╭┈◦•◦❥•◦ “Y/N. Every night, every year. You will always come," her mother hugged her.
Y/N was shaking, tears in her eyes. "Mom. I miss you,"
She stroked her hair. "I know, honey."
"Mom... I came to say goodbye to you. I love you but…” Y/N looked at her mother.
"I know. It's time. Don't give up. But to let go," her mother whispered to her.
"I am letting you go. All those years..."
“It wasn't your fault, Y/N. Stop blaming yourself. It was my decision."
"I could have saved you"
"You were a child. What mother would not sacrifice herself for her child?"
Y/N cried:" I saw it. I saw how they killed you. In a brutal way. It never left my mind. I couldn't save you."
Her mother grabbed her hand. "Angel, I'm dead. And I am at peace. I never once regretted my decision. It was the best decision. To let you live."
She sighed. "But promise me something. You won't come here again. You let me go. A new beautiful life full of love awaits you."
"Your husband will love you until his last breath. But you have to forgive yourself. I forgive you, even if I have nothing to forgive, but if it gives you inner peace, then I forgive you. Eywa forgives you too," the mother touched Y/N's heart. "Now is the time for you to forgive yourself."

╭┈◦•◦❥•◦ Ao'nung smiled in satisfaction. He finally smiled. He was smiling after those long dark days. He had a beautiful passionate night with a woman, his wife, whom he sincerely loves.
He turned towards her to say something, but she wasn't there. He got up angrily. He must be dreaming of that! He went outside, but she was nowhere in sight.
The sun was slowly rising and Ao'nung looked for her all over the village. She was nowhere.
Did she run away from him?
Of course, it was too good to be true. Of course, she left. She left him like everyone else. He roared like a wounded roar and fell to his knees.
"Ao'nung," his sister walked up to him and wanted to get him to his feet. "You don't know what day it is today, do you?"
╭┈◦•◦❥•◦ Y/N had a big problem. She had inner peace, but she found out a terrible thing. And that she was much longer there than she planned. She found it out by the sun. She was afraid to go back to the village, but she had to be strong.
She hoped that no one would be waiting for her on the beach, but she was wrong. There were a lot of them. But Ao'nung was not there. Y/N's heart skipped a beat. Was he angry?
"Olo'eyktan! She's back!" someone shouted and Ao'nung appeared from the shadows, like a god of vengeance. He had an angry expression on his face. But he didn't want to make a scene in front of everyone, so without a word, he grabbed her hand and dragged her to where they would have privacy.
"Ao'nung."
"Shut up. Now I'll speak," he said angrily, making sure no one heard them.
"How could you do this to me? After our night, you just disappeared. Do you know what it was like to wake up and you weren't there? I was really worried about you! Y/N!” he yelled.
Y/N looked down. She felt useless. She was sorry.
"Ao'nung, I would never leave you. You know that." she whispered.
Ao'nung looked down at her. "Really? How can I trust you?"
Y/N fell to her knees. "Sorry. I'm sorry, but I had to do it. I had to forgive myself," she whispered.
"Get up," he motioned to her, but she didn't get up. She shook her head. "Punish me if you want, I deserve it, Olo'eyktan."
Ao'nung's expression softened. “I don't want to punish you, y/n. I love you too much for that. But please, let's be honest with each other." he sat down. "No more secrets. I don't know if I can handle any more secrets. I used to like that about you, Y/N, that you were mysterious but now.."
"I understand that. And I have nothing to hide from you. I'll tell you everything," she took a deep breath.
1 year later
Ao'nung kissed his wife passionately. She giggled. "Ao'nung, stop! Someone can see us!"
"Then let them see how I love you," he rolled his eyes.
Y/N wrapped her arms around his neck. "I love you so much, my husband"
"I love you too, my mysterious beauty."
"You know I have nothing to hide from you anymore," she sighed and Ao'nung grabbed her hand. "I know, but I still like that about you and I always will. It was part of you and it still is."

Note: Was requested from @lazyfnafvideogamesparty I hope you like it!
Tumblr media
When you had first met Neteyam as children, you felt the universe pull you two together. Your eight year old self could remember the silly crush you had on him, merely from watching him practice and train with his father and brother.
You found the way he drew his bow back to be an art form, the way his body stood still like a statue waiting for the perfect moment before letting a breath release and the arrow go flying to hit its target dead center. You yourself were training to be a warrior, making the perfect excuse to talk to him and ask for 'tips' when really you would waste the day away laughing and goofing off other.
Neteyam never thought he had to be perfect around you, just himself. The way you would grin while flying your Ikrans together, the breeze blowing your hair back to show him the beautiful face you possessed made him go crazy. The nights you two would sneak under the stars and in the forest, whispering anything and everything to eachother.
Eywa had shown a blessing on you two when under the starry night at seventeen years old, two seedlings had drifted in front of you both. Both seeming to do a dance as they twirled around you and Neteyam, bringing eachother closer, eyes meeting in love and infatuation with one another.
That night you both had mated in front of Eywa, his family and yours happy for the both of you, knowing you two were the best Warriors the clan had to offer, you completed eachother.
However, when the war started back only a year later and forced you to flee to the ocean islands, did everything change for the worst. You and the siblings had to learn the way of water to survive, Neteyam making it bearable as you would work hard during the day but at night you would sneak off together to have a moment of peace and forget everything.
Neteyam and you had impressed some of the warriors in the water clan, showing your strength and bow skills, you were a power couple. Ao'nung would even praise you, even if he tried to play it off as, 'Average for Forest Dwelers,'.
The friendship you three had was something many longed for in their lifetime, Ao'nung and Neteyam had become like brothers during the hard times, leaning on each other in times of doubt and sorrow. You were always there to lift your mates spirits, Ao'nung feeling happy to know you and Neteyam fit eachother perfectly.
Only if it could last forever.
When you had found out you were pregnant, you couldn't wait to tell Neteyam, the grin on your face had you practically glowing. When you began to search for Neteyam, a horn had sounded, calling warriors to action as the Sky People had began another assault.
Pregnant or not, you were going to fight. Sky People weren't going to scare you away, not now, not ever.
Flying into battle, you let out a war cry as you pulled your bow back, firing arrows and taking out Sky People machines left and right. Smoke rising from the part left crashed into the sea and rocks by your hand.
Glancing to your left, you spotted your beloved firing arrows the same as you, causing a cheerful yell escape which caught his attention. You both raised a hand to signal excitement to one another, only for the world to freeze as a bullet shot through Neteyam.
A Sky Person had taken a shot at him with their last breath, your smile quickly morphing into a shock filled gape. The air couldn't escape your lungs, and you couldn't see clearly past the tears that fell rapidly down your face.
Landing your Ikran, you sprinted towards Neteyam who laid on the ground surrounded by other Na'vi. "Neteyam! MaNete!" You cried, falling to your knees beside him on the rock as he gasped for breath.
"Ma(Y/n), I'm sorry," he coughed out, body going ridged from pain and slowly losing oxygen. "No! Not like this! We have so much to do, I love you Neteyam!" You felt your voice waver as you brought his hand to your face, cradling to your cheek as your eyes strained on Neteyams beautiful yellow.
Neteyam could only stutter out one last saying, "I love you," before he suddenly lost eye focus, body going slack and his hand that was in yours going limp.
"NO!" You screamed, ears pinned back and tail whiping wild as you felt your soul break. "Neteyam!" You wailed, "Please Great Mother, not him! Not Neteyam!" You begged, Ao'nung appearing to freeze at the sight.
His best friend was gone, you now grief stricken. He could only lay a hand on your back in comfort as your screams and wails echoed up to Eywa.
Neteyam will never know his child, never know he even had one. All because of the damn Sky People and their greed.
~.~
Sixteen years had passed since that horrible day, your own vibrant life had been ripped away from you. You felt hollow inside, the only warmth you held was for your child and Ao'nung, who stepped in to help raise her.
When your daughter was born, you could only cry as she looked just like her father. Many commented that she would be a great warrior like him, but you would die before she ever saw war. You vowed to protect her, to never let her see a Sky Person or the death and turmoil that was associated with them.
"Unipey! Where are you going?" You asked, watching your daughter try and sneak off. "Mama, I'm just going for a ride, I will be back before Eclipse!" "Not today, there were some sights of Sky People, you will remain here where I can keep an eye on you!" You ordered, watching the frustration build up on her face.
"So what? I have trained, I know how to handle myself," Unipey was so tired of being treated like a child, she was one trial away from adulthood and yet you made it seem like she would break with one wrong step.
"I do not care, you will not leave this Island, go help the weavers make baskets or the healers with their herbs," Unipey pinned her ears back, frustration brimming under her side eye glare but she nodded, stomping back to the way you both had just come from.
When she disappeared from view, you let out a sign, "You're being too tough on her, you can't protect her forever," Ao'nung came up behind you, his hands coming to rest on your shoulders. You felt yourself lean back into him, looking for support.
When Unipey was born, you had fallen into a depression, Ao'nung was there everyday to help. It felt like betraying Neteyam, but Eywa had sent a sign that you both could rely on eachother. It wasn't until Unipey was almost a toddler that you allowed yourself into Ao'nungs arms every night.
"She will be fine, I need her to understand why I need her close by," you gazed up at him, feeling a rush of emotions, "she is all I have left of him. I can't lose her too," you whispered, head nuzzling into his chest as he allowed you to silently cry.
"Would you like for me to talk to her? I don't want to stress you out," his hand placed on your stomach, where you were beginning to show from another life inside. One you and Ao'nung had created.
"Please, before Great Mother doesn't stop me from snapping her teeth that she keeps barring at me," you hiccuped, feeling lost and confused with what to say to your daughter. Unipey really was like Neteyam, always head strong and knew what to do. Fearless too.
~.~
"Mama doesn't know what she's talking about, I know how to handle myself! Boys and other girls younger than me can go out on hunting parties and recon trips, but I'm stuck at home like...like a toddler!" Unipey ranted, pacing back and forth in front of the beach. Her toes just barely touching the water and foam.
"Unipey, come sit," Ao'nung appeared, taking a seat on a nearby rock and patting a spot beside him, beckoning her over. Unipey groaned, trudging through the sand and ploping herself down next to him.
"You know what your Mother does, she does-" "with love, yes Papa, you've told me, like, a hundred times," her yellow eyes couldn't roll any further back, Ao'nung silently chuckling as the face she made reminded him so much of Neteyam.
"Unipey, your Mother was once like you, always wanting to venture out and see what there was to see," Ao'nung paused for a moment, "Even your father would go-" "Why do you have to bring him into this? I don't even know him, I know of him, but i..don't know him," Unipey looked down, ears twitching in sadness.
Unipey has heard her whole life what an amazing person her father was, yet she would never get to experience that. She's heard many a tale about how both of her parents were the best warriors around, but her mother only acted like a scared guppy.
"Because he is the reason your mother protects you how she does," Ao'nung firmly stated, Unipey looking up at him with slight doubt.
"Your Mother used to fly into battle with the world on her shoulders, so free and wild. Many would yell in excitement knowing that she would be there to protect them and help guide the way to victory. Your Father was always beside her, both a view of fearlessness and ferositicy," Ao'nung couldn't help but think back to those good days, the days when you three would tear havoc in battles side by side.
"But your mother, she couldn't save your father," Ao'nung felt his tail twitch with anxiety, his eyes feeling the pressure of unshed tears. Unipey felt every muscle tense up, she had never heard that before.
"Sky People had come, your Mother had just found out about you. (Y/n) was so excited, she tried to rush to tell him but was called to fight, they saw eachother on the battle field, but the Sky People bad taken your father from before her eyes," Ao'nungs voice cracked, a small tear rolling down his face as he remembered the wails that had escaped your mouth that day.
"So you see, she can't lose you too. I think you both are wrong in your ways of going about this whole thing, but your Mother just doesn't want to go through that pain again," Ao'nung looked to Unipey who's eyes held tears, a crushed look on her face.
"Mama, is scared not of war, but to lose me?" Unipey felt her world crashing down, she had held so much anger and resentment toward her Mother, but now all she felt was regret and guilt. Regret for the days she cursed her mother to the air around her, wishing for nothing more than her mother to go away. Guilt for being selfish and not asking why.
"You both long for the thrill of battle and war, but she had experienced the rough side that you haven't yet, so not hate her for trying to keep you safe," Ao'nung brought Unipey in for a quick hug before shooing her off to you.
~.~
Unipey rubbed her hands together, peering around the corner to see her Mother packing away the fishing nets that were used for the day. "Mama?" Unipey called out, you turning to see your daughter standing with an almost scared yet shy stance. "Yes my love?" Unipey found herself drawing a blank, not knowing what to say next.
You stood, walking towards your child with a quick step, "What's wrong? If it's about earlier than-" Unipey threw her arms around you, her head tucked into your chest as she began to cry softly.
"I'm sorry Mama, I didn't know before," you brought your hands to caress her head, confusion closing your mind.
"What are you talking about? Are you hurt?" You pulled back, eyes scanning your daughters face for injuries but all you saw was a broken child needing comfort. "I didn't know about Father, about what you went through with him, I'm sorry for not listening," Unipey thought you would be upset with her, but she saw tears line your own eyes, as you brought her back in and hugging her to your body.
"No, no, it was not your fault. I never should've been so hard, I'm just terrified to lose you, war can be dangerous and it doesn't pick sides," you ran a hand through her hair, a specific bead braided in that was Neteyams. The one from when you both became mates, giving it to your child help remind you who she came from and who you two created.
"I just wanna be like Father, I've heard all these stories and I'm always compared to him, " Unipey sniffles, looking up to you from your embrace, "Please Mama, let me show that I'm my Father's Daughter,"
Ao'nung appeared behind your daughter, giving you a quirked eyebrow causing you to smile softly and nod.
"Alright, come. We will prepare for the next raid together," you took Unipeys hand, leading her to the pod your family resided in.
"What do you think Father would say if he was here?" Unipey wondered, looking to you, catching a small shift in your eyes as you thought back to your first love.
"That he's proud of you," you whispered, pressing a kiss to your daughters head.

PILLOWTALK
avatar 2 neytiri te tskaha mo'at'ite x fem!metkayina!reader
Tumblr media
༺☆༻
Neytiri could feel the warm sand beneath her feet as she walked along the beach. She watched the sun rise over the sea and since it was early in the morning, not many na'vi were awake.
Her ear twitched when she heard some movements in the sea. She quickly turned her head to check if there isn't any "danger" in the water, like some sea animal that the metkayina people had.
But instead of some sea animal she saw you. Eldest daughter of Tonowari and Ronal, young, metkayina girl that was swimming in the water on her ilu. You had few small shells braided in your hair with few thin dreadlocks, the rest of your hair flew freely. But your hair wasn't the first thing that caught her attention, it was your eyes.
Your ocean blue eyes. All the ocean na'vi had blue eyes but yours were different. There was something about them.
"Neytiri." You said while you did the 'i see you' gesture as a greeting. You knew who she was, because you were there when she and others arrived. She caught your eye since she was the only one who didn't want to learn yours clan ways.
She didn't want to be in the sea nor try to learn how to ride an ilu nor diving, nothing. That was the reason why she captured your interest.
"y/n." She said as she did the 'i see you' gesture back. You thought you should be the one teaching her your ways, I mean Tonowari is teaching Jake, Tsireya and Ao'nung are teaching the kids and Ronal is pregnant so she has a lot other responsibilities...
So she's kinda left to you, you thought. You smiled and started talking again. "What are you doing here?" You asked calmly with a small smile on your face as you swam around on the water surface.
Neytiri looked around before answering you. "No practical reason." She answered to you. To be honest she wasn't really sure why she went here. Something told her to come here and just walk around. Some feeling told her.
"Why do I never see you in the water?" You asked another question as you got off of your ilu and stood in the water that reached your waist.
"I have no need to go in the water." Neytiri answered to your question with stoic face. She looked at your ilu for a moment before returning her gaze back at you.
"But you will spend some time here? It's easier to learn our ways then use yours..." You said calmly as you tilted your head at her. Your ilu snuggled into your leg under the water so you stroke it's head while looking at her.
Neytiri narrowed her eyes but after few second went back to her stoic face. "That's right but like I said I have no need to be in the water." She said and her eyes never left yours.
You smirked, rolled your eyes and went out of water to her. After few second you gently took her hand and went back to the sea with her right behind you. Neytiri's legs betrayed her and started walking after you without her even noticing.
There was something fascinating about you, something that made it impossible to look away from you. And there was also the same feeling from the early morning. The one that told her to go here at the first place.
Your ilu swam around the two of you as you walked more deep in the water, that now was touching your cleavage and Neytiri's chest, because of the height difference between you and Neytiri.
"I have something to show you." You said calmly as you sat on your ilu offering her your hand once again. Neytiri hesitated from the start but gave in and sat behind you on your ilu.
She placed her hands on your waist and hold tight. It was like she was claiming you, the grip was somehow intimate but you wasn't paying attention to it. Instead you was focused on the whole ride.
As you two ride around your mother, Ronal, saw you. She saw Neytiri who was sitting right behind you, she smirked for herself a bit. Even tho many would say that she is crazy, she was your mother and a tsahik... she knew something that you and Neytiri, anyone except her, would even think of.
༺☆༻
You took Neytiri to one of the farthest caves. To a special one, that no one new of, only you.
Neytiri gasped for air as you went on the surface one more time. As she was catching her breath, she looked around on the most beautiful cave she ever saw.
Back in the forest there were many beautiful caves but this one was another type of beauty. "Come on." You said as you got off your ilu and went to the surface.
Neytiri was right behind you as you said that. As you reached the sand, you sat down and let out a heavy sigh. You loved it here, it was so peaceful in here. Neytiri sat down next to you while she was looking at you... well almost staring at you.
She didn't mean to but her curiosity remained the same that she had when she was younger. She looked at your skin that was much lighter then her own, like turquoise. Your eyes ocean blue while hers were yellow. Your hair were different from hers, your top, accessories, everything.
"Why did you take me here?" She spoke after a while. She was still looking at you with her hands resting on the sand. You turned your head at her and smiled.
"Well this place always brings me into a good mood um- otherwise I don't know why." You said as you shrugged your shoulders.
To be honest you just wanted to spend some time with her, you couldn't place your finger on it.
You looked into her eye before smiling at her, and she returned the favour. She wasn't sure why she feels so safe around you, it was like she already trusts you with her life, but that was impossible, both of you thought.
"It is very peaceful in here, thank you." She said with a small smile. Neytiri didn't know what came into her but she wrapped her arms around your waist and brought you closer to her.
You quickly turned your head to look at her and she, without care in the world just look in front of her on the sea without moving a muscle or her hand from your waist.
Neytiri wasn't sure why was she feeling so safe and calm. Why did she even put her arm on your waist on the first place, but it felt so natural, so right for her, she couldn't help herself. Also you were like 10 years younger then her.
As you saw Neytiri's calm face, you relaxed and let your head fall on her shoulder. This was kind of intimate position, so it was forbidden for you two to even do... but there was still no kissing, that was good, right?
But no one was around, no one could see you, no one could hear you, it was only you and her at this moment. You could do whatever you wanted and Neytiri wanted to enjoy every second of this.
She was confused and her head was filled with running thoughts but they were somehow quiet. She was calm, she felt safe and like a cherry on top this felt natural to her.
It felt like she spend her whole life with you, like you two were meant to be. It never felt like this with Jake.. only with you.
a/n: hey! i think like something is missing here, like the spark yk. so i probably will write part 2 so it will make more sense? let me know what you think.

He was back, again, we left the forest for this and he still came back, the worst possible outcome were reeling through my mind, the tawtute burning other clans for information and lo'ak bonding with payakan on top of it makes me wanna bang my head against a wall, Jake got upset with him, everything has been a complete and utter mess right now, but Ronal took some tension off me letting me know that it was all fine as tonowari was really upset with lo'ak as well but he had forgiven him but just wants lo'ak to be careful next time, Ronal and me became good friends after a while, first we weren't as close but as her's and my pregnancy progressed we kept everything aside and started anew, she helped me through everything as did i helped her, we weren't so far apart in our pregnancies either, mostly spending our time with each other.
༻✦༺ ༻✧༺ ༻✦༺
My heart broke as i saw scene before me, Ronal hugged her now dead spirit sister and her babe that was killed with her, tonowari just floated beside her comforting her, i leaned onto Jake, tears escaping my own eyes and buried my head into his shoulder while he rubbed my thigh, Jake had tears of his own but held back, this was happening because of him, quatrich was after him and would go to any level to get to him, he took my hand in his own rubbing his thumb down my knuckles, he swam forward to take a look around the tulkun that's when he saw the tracker, blinking away…
Everyone gathered in the war tent, screaming and crying out for the loss of the spirit sister of their tsahik, i stood besides Jake, he was trying his best to make them understand that going to war won't do them any good and could be catastrophic but they weren't in the state of mind to understand as Ronal came forward "you live with us and still do not understand our way!" I walked in front of Jake stopping her from doing anything, he looked around at the enraged people and said the next best thing he could think of "listen to me! You want the tulkuns safe? Then go tell them that if they see this shot at them then let me know, i will come and deactivate it" everyone looked at eachother, hesitation evident in the air and i spoke "go, tell them, tell them to be safe" all of them nodded giving one look at their leaders before sprinting towards the sea to inform their spirit brothers and sisters, i sigh, Jake came down from the elevated rock standing besides me as he slipped his arm across my waist, tonowari and Ronal still stood in front of us, we gave them our condolence and apology and walked out.
I sat near the fire watching it crackle and pop every now and then, Jake sat next to me his hands brushing up and down my back when lo'ak's voice cracked into my ear piece and i looked at my mate with wide eyes and i heard lo'ak say "dad, a tulkun is marked, we are near the three brothers rock, trying to take out the tracker" worry filled me as i spoke "who are with you?", "Everyone, even tsireya and ao'nung" with that we bolted towards ronal's and tonowari's mauri "get out of there, stay back! We are coming" i say as we burst through their mauri opening and Jake started "quick the kids are in danger, your kids are there as well, c'mon we have to go" they both go to work and i turned around and ran with Jake to our mauri to pick up our weapons, picking up my bow and arrows i send a prayer for protection to eywa but Jake stopped me putting a hand on my swollen stomach "you should stay ba-" before he could finish i said "my kids are in danger jake, i won't sit back!" He just nodded knowing full well there was no debating this, we walked out and i call for my ikran and Jake climbed on his tsurak.
Flying above the metkayina soldiers, i looked at the demon ship as they held lo'ak , tuk and tsireya hostage near the railing, my blood boiled all i wanted was to kill that demon again, i killed him once i can kill him again, i was about to dive down when a voice rang, that cold dreadful voice which i never wanted to hear ever again " if you want your son alive then come here, Alone, Jake sully, I'm sure you wouldnt want that to happen would'ya?" His chuckle made me nauseous, he had a gun pointed to lo'ak's head and another one of the demons had gun pointed towards tsireya as well, i saw Jake hesitate to lower his gun but did it anyways and slowly floated forward, he's gonna give himself up, without wasting another minute i flied forward silently hovering above the ship, seeing my chance to swoop in, i didn't have to wait fo too long as payakan burst out slamming onto the ship tilting it down and taking my chance i dived down shooting down any remaining soldiers with my arrows, i saw some machines break the water surface and i immediately turned around and tried to shoot them, some demons inside the ships were killed but some escaped beneath the water, dropping onto one of the decks on the other side of the ship, disconnecting the bond, i slowly walked inside, tip toeing my way in, two soldiers ran inn and i shot one of them down the other looked around bewildered shooting his gun blindly but not long enough before he was dead too…
On the opposite side neteyam got up on the deck cutting through the cuffs as he freed tsireya and tuk finally getting to lo'ak, he chuckled bending down ruffling his brothers hair "who's my mighty warrior?" Lo'ak just rolled his eyes, his brother pulled him towards the edge so they can dive inn but lo'ak stopped turning around "we have to save spider!" Neteyam hesitated but caved inn following behind him, taking spider from the lab, silently they walked towards to moon pool, dropping down and immediately attacking the nearest humans they ran towards the pool but fell back as gunfire rang, lo'ak took down one of the soldiers picking his gun pointing in different directions, neteyam just rolled his eyes taking the gun from him scoffing, lo'ak groaned but stayed behind neteyam as he shot the men in front of him "GO! go! Now!" He yelled at them, lo'ak and spider dived in the pool leaving neteyam behind, the bullets ran out from his gun without thinking he ran forward and fell into the pool…
༻✦༺ ༻✧༺ ༻✦༺
I ran forward diving inn as those demons shoot me from the ship, i felt a pain zap through my right shoulder, swimming away the best i could i broke the water surface taking inn deep breaths, looking around as i saw y/i/n, calling out to him/her and mounting with much difficulty i took flight.
Getting down onto were most of my family stood, a body was lying on it, my heart stopped and i forgot my pain in that moment as i stumbled from my ikran, my eyes only trying to focus on that body as i fell to the ground beside it, neteyam Lying there unmoving, the world stopped as a blood curdling scream left my throat, the pain was taking over me as i pulled him to me, but my limbs fail me and i fell on my back, black spots appearing in my vision.
Jake held me and put pressure on my wound as blood poured out of my shoulder, the bullet was still embedded inside and it felt like my shoulder was on fire, he flipped me over checking my back "it's okay, it's okay, stay with me, don't close your eyes baby, look at me"  everything was getting blurry as i fought to keep my eyes open, focusing on Jake i felt someone take my hand "mom please don't close your eyes" lo'ak gasped out, there was movement a lot of movement, i felt my body being picked up, the strain against my shoulder too great as i screamed, trying to muffle myself but failing miserably, i don't know what was going on but i kept my eyes open, i felt someone speak the voice was familiar maybe it was Ronal? How much time has passed? but my brain didn't decipher it for me but the person that voice came from digged a finger into the bullet hole nimbly removing the bullet while i screamed, something wet and sticky was applied to it as it stung the entirety time, i gasped for air, i already had a gash running down my chest due to those demons on the ship and i fell unconscious, i fluttered my eyes open my, eyesight somewhat clear as i shot up, looking around Jake sat besides me pulling me into a hug, he puts both his hands on my cheeks as he says "you have to stay strong, look at me, breath! Breath! Strong heart" patting my chest, my thoughts were only on neteyam, i looked at him but he wasn't there, i looked at Jake confused he was there before what was happening? My heart was being crushed second by second and Jake just shook his head, i didn't want to believe it but i gathered whatever strength that was left in me as i looked at the dying sunset, i felt the bandages on my shoulder and torso shift and sting but didn't care, all i could see right now is red, blood red, blood of only one person..
I jumped down my ikran, gently rolling down shooting down any soldiers in sight, hitting and ripping anyone in sight i made my way forward,it was a while before i got to the other side of the port deck that connected to the moon pool were that bastard kept my girls locked, my vision becoming red by second as i waited for my chance to pounce, i saw spider crawling from another side, he Haven't noticed me yet and i knew what i had to do as i waited for the opportunity, Jake stood there tuk was  near the ship with tsireya, while quaritch held a knife to kiri's throat and i did not hesitate to jump out of my hiding place, grabbing spider in one swipe as i brought my own knife to his throat and looked at the father of the boy i was holding "a son for a son" and hissed at him, he just chuckled dryly "he's nothing to me, he's not my son" and i tilted my head,  bringing the knife in my hand even closer to his neck drawing blood now, kiri screamed but was silenced as quaritch tugged at her braid, i knew what i had to do "is that so?" I said bringing my knife up with a yell as I brought it down just inches away from spider's chest. He yelled to stop,  a smirk forming on my face as he lets kiri go "let him go now!" I did as he said, not turning my back on him. I backed out towards kiri , tuk, i turned around for Jake but i saw him talking with that demon "ma' Jake!" But he didn't turn back and the only thing i heard him say was "let's get this done" as he dived for quaritch and fought tooth and nail, pivoting i ushered kiri and tuk sending a prayer to eywa for Jake, we got to a shallow part of the ship, i put tuk in front of me but before i can see her foot slip and i caught her but her hand slipped from mine due to the force of water, i got in with her, as we both fell in a cabin like square i hissed pressing myself into the wall putting my hands on the bump of my stomach, this was taking a toll on me but i got back on my feet as i called for tuk, i heard her voice calling back treading forward i saw her smaller figure swimming to me, holding her in my arms i kissed her head and told her to go forward, tumbling through doors and rooms we were now trapped in this tunnel like area with no exit, i sigh taking deep breath to calm myself and pulling tuk closer to me, she buried her head in my neck with a muffled "mom I'm scared" my heart broke but i was scared too for her, for Jake, for myself, rubbing her back i said "shh it's gonna be okay, we're gonna be fine! Okay? Just calm down and breathe slowly, with me, sweetheart" i tried my best but the water was filling in, pulling tuk as much as i can towards me, i chanted a prayer to eywa, we stood there for a while, the space to breath was getting smaller and smaller just when i lost all hope to get out a shimmering light flooded the now dark way, i saw small luminous fishes swam towards us and saw kiri's head pop in, swimming towards us i gave her the biggest hug i could muster, giving me the creature that helped to breath underwater we all swam towards the exit, finally coming out of the ship floating upward and breaking the water, i looked around everywhere until i saw payakan with Jake and lo'ak on his fin, i couldn't help as i called out "Ma' Jake! Ma' Jake" his eyes turned towards us, pulling me into him as I hugged him tightly. We all hugged each other finally everything was over…..or was it?
༻✦༺ ༻✧༺ ༻✦༺
I sat beside neteyam his breathing even, he was shot in his arm but due to blood loss he went unconscious, when i arrived at the rock i passed out thinking he died, everyone in that moment thought he died as well when tsireya took him back to the healing mauri while Ronal came around to patch me up, i had lost a significant amount of blood as well but adrenaline kept me awake for so long, the moment we touched the beach i fell into Jake's arms and was brought to the healers tent, now everyone was fine, neteyam was fine, my family was fine, i sigh as i brush the stray hairs from 'teyam's face to the sides, i opted to stay by his side as Jake went to talk to Ronal and tonowari about our departure so we won't be threat to them anymore, i was startled when i felt a presence next to me, Jake chuckled leaning in and kissing my cheek his arm automatically wrapping around my back and stomach, i leaned onto his chest looking up at him i asked "what did they say? When are we moving?" He just smiled shaking his head " we aren't going anywhere, they have decided to give us the permission to live here as long as we want" my eyes widened but felt happy they have finally accepted us, sighing i just nodding, he kissed my forehead once more, Happiness is simple it's in small things that you think won't mean much, but those moments are the ones that get you through life…..

I kinda wanna see Ronal-Tonowari-Reader dynamic as parents to Ao'nung and Tsireya now
Tumblr media
#RONAL X READER X TONOWARI AS PARENTS (TOTW)...! *°࿐
ੈ✩‧₊˚ notes: i am writing this instead of studying for my finals which is in 2 days. is it worth failing school? hahahahaha umm—
Tumblr media
You three are responsible so you don’t try for babies when Tonowari hasn’t earned his position as Metkayina’s Olo’eyktan or Ronal with the position as Tsahik or you as the Karyu. I’m not saying you haven’t done any steamy stuff before this bc that would be boring but you do and you just play safe ykwim?
So when you three have done that, you get pregnant first. Like all the hunger and need from the pain the whole miscommunication fiasco thing is poured into most love-making sessions and when you try to have babies, it gets more intense. Months later, you gave birth to Ao’nung.
From his birth, he cried hard and loud, letting the clan know of his arrival to the world. And when you cradled him to your chest for the first time, his tiny little fingers grip a finger of yours hard. He turns purple and his frown is deep as he cried and you chuckle at how beautiful your first baby boy. You had a feeling he would become a warrior.
Ronal got pregnant next and she gives birth to Tsireya. When she comes out, she cried softly but calms down as soon as she is swayed and her head rests on Ronal’s chest. She snored softly, completely different from her brother’s birth and you chuckle once more. You had a feeling she would become a healer or a teacher. Or maybe both.
You were correct. Ao’nung takes after Ronal so much and Tsireya with you as well that there is a running joke that maybe the Great Mother had misplaced them in your bellies.
When they were both children, Ao’nung smiles but not as much as he frowns or scowls. He was quiet most of the time, only laughing and opening up with his family. Like Ronal, this made him grow with a lack of friends, unlike Tsireya. But each day and night, you make sure he is loved and let him learn how to manage emotions and get along with others at his own pace.
Naturally, he grew frustrated sometimes and threw a fit. The first time he said words he didn’t mean to you, Ronal had a talk with him personally and made him apologize to you with tears and a hug with you so tight. Ronal understands him better than anybody else so they bond in silence.
Tsireya was naturally curious. It is in her nature to ask a lot of questions and learn more about the life that surrounds the clan, the Great Mother. Ronal teaches her as the Tsahik but Tsireya is a very sensitive child and you are more soft and gentle than Ronal, so she prefers learning from you. You two could talk all day without rest and you wouldn’t get tired of it.
Tonowari is just… there.
Nah lmao I’m just kidding, Tonowari is like the middle ground. He is the parent that the children look up to. Ao’nung wants to be as strong and a great warrior as him and Tsireya admires him just because. But Tonowari is also stern when he feels is necessary. There were (and will be) times that Ao’nung and Ronal disobey what you tell them because you spoil them too much like going out of the Clan’s water territory or too deep into the jungle of the other islands. Tonowari disciplines them as what a parent should do and kids cry yk and you’re like half glaring at him in the back, your tail is thumping the mat of your pod and there is a dark aura around you. He is forced to let them go early to lessen your anger on him and you immediately smother them with kisses and hug them tight.
Ronal understands the need to discipline them but she doesn’t want to risk your anger lol so she just looks away when Tonowari begs her to help him ease your anger. She just pats her sobbing children and tells them not to do it again and might go on about how they are just looking out for their safety.
You sleep with the children and might let Ronal in too if you’re not that in a bad mood. Tonowari totally sleeps by himself when he makes the kids cry.

2.7k words, no warnings.
Y/n being captain of the ship known as Lo'ak and Tsireya.
lowdown-
When Y/N, and the sullys first reach the reef, a boy catches her eye, and she does her best to catch his attention. She doesn't believe he likes her back, and she thinks it's ridiculous that she's so whipped for this boy. He seems to have no interest in her.
since this is part one theres no angst yet
pt 2 here pt 3 pt 4
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Y/N. that is what those close to you know you as. The ones that you were not close to knew you as the seventh toruk makto. The youngest ever to get chosen by the leonopteryx, the child like kiri, so in tune with nature, but with the dangerous side, as well as the soft side. You only knew one thing in life. The forest was part of you and you were part of it.
You were disappointed that you had to leave the forest. You were in love with it, the forest was part of you and you were part of it. you were so so upset about leaving it, but where your family goes, so does you. Sullys stick together. You and kiri were both quite similar in the idea that you were quite in tune with Eywa. However, you both were slightly different. She choose to be quiet and she was more calm, and would walk away from anyone picking a fight.
You were the opposite, always jumping in head first and thinking about your consequences after. You were more likely to get into a fight than Kiri since she was a lot more calm and collected. At a young age you seemed to be in more touch with the animal life of Pandora while Kiri was enamoured by everything. But you didn't relly mind and quite often disappeared into the foliage of the forests with her. Your father did not seem to worry about you that often but you definitely knew he loved you, from the times when he'd asked you What'd you'd seen and done in a day after you dragged Kiri away from the trees back to your clan.
One particular day when you were about 6 or 7, you had Kiri has gotten separated from Neteyam, spider and lo'ak on one of your trips, and not too soon after you had lost Kiri too. You didn't worry, because you knew you'd find your way back to the rest no matter what in the end. You were very very curious then, and quite often gave your parents heart attacks. At the time, there were rumours of a thanator being pregnant, as it did not happen that often, and when pregnant, they would do their best to remain hidden. The thanator, had been roaming around the outskirts of the forest, near the clan.
The people were scared of the thanator, even if your mother was one of the only people to ever have 'trained' one, the people were obviously still wary. It seems even though your siblings were aware of this, they still deemed it a good idea to go and travel into the forest themselves. Well, anyway you guys got separated, and you didn't think too much of it. You were sitting on the forest floor, petting and stroking a baby viper-wolf, who were playing with some other cubs.
Suddenly, they stopped yapping at each other and froze, giving a small, quick hiss before getting up and running away. You looked in the direction that they were running away from and saw her. The thanator was so beautiful. Some part of your body was telling you to run, but the stronger, bigger part of you was telling you she wouldn't hurt you and you had nothing to worry about. So, you stood up, cautiously walked up to her and gave your hand for her to smell you like a dog would, and she licks your palm. You just chill with her for awhile before asking her to help guide you back, but she actually does, which leads you to believe she can understand you.
And from that day onwards you would constantly sneak off into the woods to find the pregnant thanator which you named ta'éki. This carried on for several years till you were roughly about 12, at this point your entire family knew but they knew she wouldn't hurt you. ( i believe with my heart that when Thanators are pregnant they will remain pregnant for years until they believe someone other than them can take care of their baby, and that they also take a very long time to grow up, roughly 25 years to get up to the size of the one neytiri rode) You had bonded really well with ta'éki.
one day, you ran to meet her at the pool and noticed how her pregnancy stomach was gone, and she was with a tiny baby Thanator. at this point you understood her so well and you basically were able to speak to animals in the first place, and she asked you to bond with the baby. When you connected tsaheylu you instantly knew this would be a moment you would remember forever. You decided that moment her name would be ta'heyla. You did basically everything together from then on.
Once it was time for you to bond with a mountain banshee for you to become accepted as an adult, you had gone up with kiri and neteyam. For some reason, you didn't feel like you would meet your banshee there, So you told your father that and he allowed you to explore while your sister and brother claimed their banshees. In the distance, you could hear the whoops of excitement from neteyam ( you assume) successfully bonding with his banshee.
You don't mind it too much, and were climbing up some vines on the hallelujah mountains to explore some more by yourself. you hear some soft clicking noises, and something compels you to follow it and you come across a giant leonopteryx.
You instantly stumble over your own feet, and fall onto your butt. but, due to the fact she did not pounce, you knew it might have been okay to approach her. so, you did. without really considering if anything could go wrong. But you just casually asked her to be your friend, and voila! you were the 7th Toruk Makto. Avarin was a strangely coloured leonopteryx, but there was no doubt that she wasn't one. Her colours were various shades of blue and black.
Obviously people were slightly confused how a great leonopteryx ( you named her Avarin, because it just seemed appropriate) had chosen a 12 year old girl, a child. But you just didn't really care and just kind of did your own thing.
You ended up being known very well throughout your clan for your affiliation with especially dangerous animals, and you suppose that spread throughout the rest of pandora as well. Your brothers were jealous, especially lo'ak as he wanted one too. Avarin was quite wary among anyone other than you and your family, so she preferred to stay quite away from your camp, but always seemed to know when you needed her.Several years later, the sky people came back.
They hunted and hunted in the forest, searching for your father and your family, wishing to extract their revenge, which was why your father was adamant that you were not to visit the forest again, after neteyam, lo'ak, kiri and Tuk were intercepted while you were off flying with Avarin, having left the mic at home since it distracted you and made you uncomfortable.
You kind of blamed yourself for that, since you could have helped, but they managed to be okay, even though spider was taken away. since then, you had to obey, these people were really dangerous. But you could not leave your family behind, those ones in the forest, the ones you grew up with.
So, the day before you left, you ran into the forest while your parents were busy arguing to find ta'éki and ta'heyla. But ta'éki was nowhere in sight in your usual meeting spot, but Ta'heyla, the baby thanator was. And then you knew that the sky people were the reason for the disappearance of ta'éki. So, you did the only thing you could think of, you told ta'heyla everything would be fine and that you would take care of her. So, as you packed your things, you had ta'heyla curled by your foot.
You had worked for several hours trying to convince your father to allow you to bring her, and you genuinely hoped that the metkayina clan would not worry too much about her, as you knew she would not hurt anyone as long as you were present. At this age, she was the size of a medium grown tiger from earth, but you knew you would be able to bring her with you as you knew Avarin, your leonopteryx would be able to carry her.
The flight was getting exhausting for you. Avarin was a smooth flyer but several hours of sitting on a saddle no matter how smooth the flight is would get tiring real quick. Ta'heyla was on the back with you having been strapped down with some ropes you had to fashion as quickly as you could.
Soon, the waters became clearer, and you were able to see the beautiful clean water, with all these different beautiful fish and various animals swimming about. You really really wanted to take a break and touch the clear water, since you've never swam in the ocean before, the urge was really really strong, and you knew you would get along with all the creatures really well.
you shot a look to kiri, conveying what you thought of the sights with just a look. She was flying beside you, but you noticed her banshee looked slightly uncomfortable with the Avarin so close, even though hers knew it was okay.
Finally, You had reached the Metkayina clan. houses on top of the water, connected to mangroves, so many of them, with children splashing in the water and yells of happiness and joy. As the shadow of Avarin passed over them, everything quieted down, there were some screams, but the company of mountain banshees next to your leonopteryx made them not panic, because that was something that did not happen often.
You landed at the centre, and your family around you. You stepped off and helped your baby Ta'heyla down, opting to stand next to kiri, since she and you were the closest in the family.
Avarin, uncomfortable with the crowd around you pointing their spears, took off, giving a slight hiss. The people stumbled back, most likely unused to a leonopteryx of that size.
"coward!" you yelled after her, with her only giving you a light squawk. Kiri laughed at you and with that you turned around, to face the Metkayina clan, those who were in control of your future now. For some reason, your heart starts thumping, with your tail flicking back and forth, and you look around, wondering what is causing that. You spot two teenage boys making their way towards you.
From behind, they scrutinise yours and kiri's tails, laughing at it. " look at that! is that supposed to be a tail?" One of them, the taller one grabs your tail, you flush, and pull it out of his grasp, flicking your tail against his back and he lets out a squeak. Kiri covers her mouth with her hand to hide her laugh.
In the end, 'cause after ronal picks on kiri, you stepped in front of her and stopped paying attention, preferring to keep an eye out for everyone else. So, when the boy who pulled you tail is introduced as the son of Tonowari and Ronal, you flick him an interested look, finally taking in his looks. you have to admit, he's quite attractive and maybe he'll be nicer from now on. Tonowari raises the question of your thanator, and you're quick to reply. "she won't harm anyone, she's never harmed anyone in her entire life. It will be okay. I will be responsible" Your sister is quick to back you up, following your brothers and tuk. "very well, i will hold you to that." Tonowari says. You bow, glad that you are able to keep her with you.
Fast forward to your first lesson. Breathing. Tsireya saw to it that Ao'nung helped you, since he had been your tormentor. It was very very quick, but you seemed very intrigued by him. He was quick, strong, intelligent. everything you wanted in a mate. But he viewed you as untrue na'vi, and you wanted to change that. So, you did your best to prove yourself to him. For some reason, you knew that you were going to end up together, even if he was quick to ridicule you and your siblings. It seems that everyone else was quick to catch on, too.
with his hand on your abdomen, just resting under the line of your top, his hand seemed to sear into you, so warm and inviting, a contrast to his cold behaviour. The water was cold, which caused you to shiver. breathe in from your stomach, and hold it as long as possible, The way of water has no beginning and no end. Our hearts beat in the womb of the world. The sea is your home, before your birth and after your death." You turn to him, eyebrows quirked, you watch as they dive in. You follow, and so does lo'ak neteyam, kiri and tuk.
You open your eyes underwater, having a clear membrane cover your eyes, much like the metkayina, which allowed you to see clearly underwater. and oh eywa. What a sight. The clear water was so mesmerising. The fishes swimming by without being afraid, the beautiful corals, and more, Ao'nung; he looked so beautiful underwater, so in tune with the environment and the current underwater moving his hair back and forth. You didn't want to stare too long, so you changed your sight and looked towards Tsireya. She makes some hand movements, and you guess that she's asking for you to swim with them.
Your siblings, lungs bursting head back up for air, and you watch Ao'nung turn to Tsireya and ask what's wrong with them. You feel very protective, and swim back up to check on them. Once you are back above water, you look through the water and see Rotxo, who has been quiet the entire time, make hand movements to Ao'nung saying "those guys are bad divers." Tsireya interjects with "stop. they're learning" and they too, swim back up.
"are you alright?" Tsireya asks.
Tuk whines; " you're too fast, wait for us"
Ao'nung comes to the surface and jeers. "You are not good divers. Maybe good at swinging through trees, but…"
but thankfully, Tsireya hits him on the head, you're thankful because you really don't like it when he talks bad about you, and you think you really should not be interested in him.
Neteyam speaks up for the first time, "Come on bro. We don't speak this finger talk, you guys. We don't know what you're saying."
Tsireya says, " I will teach you." and you send Neteyam a smirk, laughing at Lo'ak's expression, like she said he wouldn't teach her.
Tsireya turns to Ao'nung " you will help Y/N, she is faster than them and understands quicker, once you are done, you may help me with tuk." You hear Ao'nung let out a groan, and you can't help but feel a little bit squashed.
So, you head back to the Marui, and sit on the side, he turns to you and says. "look, you are seem to understand better than your brothers that are slow, but you do not know all the hand signs, so-" He is interrupted by Ta'heyla running up to you and jumping on you. She's quite big, but you don't seem to mind it too much.
"what is that-" Ao'nung asks, cautiously putting his hand out, for what? you're not sure.
"seems like we can both teach each other some things, so let's be civil, yeah?" You turn to him, noticing his caution, you give him a shrug, and he tries to ignore it, but he definitely saw it.
"shut it forest girl" he smiles, and goes back to the lesson, and oh eywa, does your heart thump at that smile. Like Tsireya, he has dimples and oh eywa, what a pretty thing.
You ask him to discard the lesson, wishing to know more about his culture, and you can't help but watch enamoured as he describes the traditions of the Metkayina clan, not at the lesson, but at him, the way he talks and moves his hands around, it seems you're already whipped.
