Creating a blog for Aphrodite has to be the best idea ever!!! Or anything that has to do with her. I made Etsy Wishlists of all the stuff I want to put on her altar, and I also made a playlist (made an Ares one as well :3 ). This makes me unapologetically creative without being critical or loath about how it looks or how other people think.

A god to consider: Eos

🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅

One of the lesser known of the second generation of the titans, eos was born of the river Okeanos, rising from it to become the embodiment of dawn. She is the sibling of Helios and Selene, the daughter of Hyperion and Theia. She had a varacious lust for handsome young Greeks, (relatable) a curse laid upon her by Aphrodite. Of her many lovers, including other gods like Orion, it was a human man she ultimatley settled on, the Trojan prince Tithonus. As she fell in love with him, she soon realized he would die a mortal, and made a plea to Zeus to grant him immortality. Zeus, being the trifling bastard he is, granted him immortality, but tricked her by not granting him eternal youth, which she neglected to specify, causing him to ultimatley age until he turned into a grasshopper! Many of her other lovers suffered deaths of various reasons, some at the hands of Artemis, one by Achilles. Although she had bad luck in love, she still rises every morning to this day, searching for another young man to fawn upon…

What would've been an alternative universe for Orange?

(( ooc: holy f!ck - that's actually a good question! Hmm let's see... ))

Orange never did roll off that hill from the tree to accident end up at Mount Olympus.

They would've grew up with their little brother Lemon ( @lemon-boy-anon) never separated from him in the beginning

Instead of growing up raised by Poseidon, Amphitrite, and Aphrodite - they'd be raised by their manipulative mother, Demeter 🌾

And knowing how keen Demeter is about keeping her kids to herself, Orange wouldn't have met Icey, Amira, Jelly, Ghosty, Star, Lotus, Rio, Coral, Maggie, Natah, Pandora and their other mutuals

They only know their mom and lemon, who Orange does everything they would to raise him and protect him

Oh, and they'd probably end up an anxious mess, being told how bad the world is, so is afraid to go out, and just stay with Demeter. 🌾

Not to mention how Demeter would manipulate their feelings to make Orange insecure to keep them under her control🌾

Can you imagine?

Quiet, self-conscious, anxious, and guarded Orange, who wouldn't even wave hi to someone or give gifts, just be mellow and avoidant of everyone? 🍊

No powers they didn't have to trade for immortality.

And pretty much, weren't there for any other major events.

Not that wouldn't change anything, right?
