Apprentices body

A long time ago, apprentices cybertronian body belonged to a rogue bot who got a peculiar punishment, one that hadn't been used in a long time. The previous owner of the body was too dangerous to be kept in a prison, so his spark was removed and sealed away in a vault, leaving only the frame behind. The body was put in storage to be reused again, but it was forgotten about because of the war. For many millenia the body sat in storage until megatron took apprentice to the room where the frames were kept, now eternally waiting for their own sparks.

Apprentice would see the old body by chance and point it out, soon picking it to be his. While his frame of choice recieved a good cleaning and some new paint, apprentice himself would undergo a spark conversion, converting his essence and soul into a cybertronian spark on a molecular level. After the conversion, his catalytic spark would be fitted into the new body and it would officially belong to apprentice

When Strahm gets too heated Perez covers his eyes or puts a paper bag (with a smiley face drawn in sharpie on it) over his head to calm him down. When his eyes are covered he is switched off like a real bird.

Not sure if you have already answered this or not, but do loners/rogues/outsiders get powers when they join the clan? Or is there some kind of process they have to go through?

This will be explained in comic too, but other than the adult founders, only apprentice age cats who join will get powers, as it's part of OurClan's apprentice ceremony. Any warrior age cat (outsiders and from other clans alike) don't get powers!

Which is a little sad cause earlier today I was thinking about a cat with a unicorn horn but there's like no way that would exist unless a Kittypet was already named unicorn but I'm sticking to my rules

Do you think Solomon ever fears his relationship with mc going down the same path as his previous apprentice? :(

Ooh, the angst!

I don't doubt there's an underlying worry that his relationship with MC could sour. Obviously, we don't know a whole lot about his past apprentice, so we don't really know exactly why things ended as badly as they did. As far as I can remember (and I could be wrong), Solomon's ending with his apprentice was over some sort of disagreement, so either it was a matter of pride or a matter of temper, or both. Solomon seems to be pretty patient with MC, so I don't really see his pride getting in the way of his bond with them. He lets a lot of issues go when it comes to what they want, often siding with them even if their goals are at odds with his own.

The only way I think things could potentially go south is if there were a time when MC is faced with making the choice to side with humanity or side with the other realms. I think Solomon assumes they'll pick humanity (in doing so, implying they pick him), but he's also aware they could make a decision that he cannot go along with, even if it is for their sake. I don't see this happening though as I think it would have to be under dire circumstances for him to act in pride or frustration against MC due to their choice. He tends to act rationally and calmly. We hardly ever see him fly off the handles, so it would have to be over something extreme for him to disagree with MC.

But I'd say that for the most part Solomon tends to focus on the good he has with his precious apprentice now rather than brood over something that may or may not happen in the future. If something ever were to come up, I think he'd try to sort the issue out diplomatically. He cares deeply for MC. There's plenty of instances where he exclaims that they're the first to know about certain aspects of his life, and that says a lot in comparison to the bond/relationship he might've had with his previous apprentice (which, based on this, I would assume was probably more on friendly terms rather than romantic, but who's to say).

(Yeah, apprentice was actually fem before becoming cybertronian! The frame apprentice chose was male and megs even acknowledged it after apprentice made their choice and asked if they wanted a more femme model. Apprentice denied and insisted this one was fine because they didn't like being fem anyway. Of course, Megs didn't quite understand the reasoning behind the change, but he still gave apprentice the frame they wanted as part of the deal.

Apprentice is now a mech and he lives happily with megs (and his other adopted children)
