There’s a new Moon coming on the 9th and here’s how you set up your chart to interpret it. First, look at the sign and degree the luminaries are in. That would be the 20th degree of Aquarius in this instance. Now, look at this point in your natal chart and see what house it’s in. The Sun and Moon are the triggers activating the natal chart. The house they’re in will show the area of life you’re trying to inwardly connect with. The conjunction of the Sun and Moon represents your emotions trying to integrate with your spirit. I compare it to the low tide on the beach shores. During this phase all the critters crawl under the rocks and into their shells for various reasons. Some will dry out in the Sun. Others are evading predators trying to eat them. Whatever the reason, they all scatter somewhere safe and get ready for the next incoming tide. If you follow your personal cycle you’ll eventually discover how you generally feel during this time. After you’ve analyzed house placement, move on to the planets. Planets involved with trines and sextiles usually indicate an easier flow of energy. All the other aspects will show either difficult or confusing times. Remember, not every new Moon is going to bring an epic event. It could simply mean you spill your coffee and get over it easier than usual. Spiritual Sunday: Chinese New Year (Part IIII -- FINAL PART) - The History and Origin of the Lion Dance (PART II-B) Lion dancing is an ancient ritual dating back to the Tang Dynasty (618-906 A.D.) and although its exact origins are unclear it can be traced back to two historical possibilities: The first possibility is related to bands of Persian performers who roamed China. During the Tang Dynasty the Chinese exchanged cultural influences with other countries and the lion was one of the many acts in the Persian 'new day' festival. The second possibility is that lion dancing can be traced to the annual cleaning of the imperial palace. Each New Year the palace was cleaned; physically and spiritually. Men dressed as twelve sacred animals made three passes through the palace. The lion was one of these animals. This purification ritual extended to Buddhist practices and, as we all know, there is a close link between Buddhism and the formation of the Chinese martial arts and kung fu in particular. Of course there are myths associated with the lion. One such story is that a Tang Dynasty emperor had a dream in which a strange creature saved his life. The next day the emperor described the dream to his ministers. One of the ministers explained to the emperor that the strange creature resembled a lion which came from the west. EDIT: It took me almost 10 minutes to post this because ig was acting up, when I say this is a CHAOTIC TRANSIT, I MEAN IT 😅

January felt like it was 6 months long, and February is moving at warp speed. This feels like a true beginning, January did not.

February may be a short month, but it is jam-packed with astrological movement! We have multiple planets entering Aquarius in the next week, joining others that have already been stationed there. This energy may feel chaotic, but my advice is to go with the flow.

If you are being pushed into new challenges, meet them head-on. Take that nervous, anxious energy and use it! You never know where these unexpected paths may lead, it could be a new opportunity!

This doesn’t feel like much of a manifesting time, more like a time to follow the path you are being led on. As scary and difficult as it may be to rethink certain plans, you may have to. NEW MOON IN AQUARIUS

On February 1, there is a New Moon in 12° Aquarius which could be a trigger for making your first steps towards your future plans and goals or to go towards liberation and freedom from a burdensome situation in some areas your life. This New Moon in Aquarius is a perfect time to plant new seeds, to undertake completely new venture by using your unique talent and originality. It is a great time to make a wish list and to plan your dreams and wishes. You can also experience sudden awakening or a download of new ideas with futuristic and innovative character by nature. Write them down, draw a mind map of your future visions (life, career, goals, etc) and possible steps in achieving such.

However, if you initiate new beginnings during this New Moon, keep in mind, that you may have to be patient and discipline in achieving your goals because the new Moon is in conjunct aspect with Saturn in Aquarius. But this shouldn’t be a worrying factor but rather a sign for building something long lasting and constructive where the success and great results will unfold in a rewarding and a timely manner. Aquarius New Moon could also be a great time to connect with likeminded people and to build up/expand communities (online)/groups or in person who shares similar ideas, interests and visions of life and humanity, in general.

It is advisable to take action in the 3 /4 day after the New Moon because the energy is more settle and powerful few days after the New Moon.

Spiritual Sunday: Chinese New Year (Part III) - The History and Origin of the Lion Dance (PART I-A) Rather surprisingly China does not have any native lions, which makes it seem rather surprising that lions should form such a key part of the Chinese culture. For example, I'm sure you will have seen 'temple lions', pairs of lions which stand at the entrance to key buildings such as temples or that are sold in miniature as ornaments. So where did the lions come from? Well the answer lies in the same place that kung fu owes its origins to - the Silk Road. Many cultural influences passed between India, China and surrounding countries via this trading route. There are those that argue that it was in part the demands for better self-defence when travelling this route that lead to the development and spread of the martial arts. Perhaps because China has no lions of its own the form of the traditional Chinese lion bears little resemblance to a real lion. In fact the lion used in the lion dance has a single horn in the middle of its head!
