In Too Deep (Arven x GN!Reader) | Ch. 1*
Rating: Mature/Explicit | Warning: Pokémon Scarlet/Violet spoilers!
Summary: "A rough yank whips my face past Arven’s. He lets go. I yelp, feeling my body drift away from the group for a brief few milliseconds. Then, two strong hands find my sides and pull, planting me down onto the Pokémon.
…Oh no, I’m horny. I could’ve died, but instead of being mad or fearful, I’m being horny."
Author’s Note: My headcanon age for Arven is that he’s a young adult, somewhere between 20-24 years old. If this proves to be wrong in the future, please consider him to be aged up to this range! Likewise, for the sake of the continuity (i.e. Little Buddy and whatnot), you have a similarly tiny stature to the main character in Pokémon SV. For the sake of all of us, your character here is not a teenager lol, but instead roughly the same age as Arven, give or take a few years.
Thank you for understanding!! ^^ Enjoy and take care x
Check it out on ao3!

There’s no way I can do this.
I’ve ridden on the back of Raidon plenty — mostly on land, but sometimes soaring from high cliffs, and other times skiing on water. I trust this Pokémon with my life.
But this? This is way too high of a jump. There’s no way it’ll work.
I hear the bustle of my friends a dozen or so feet from beside me, climbing onto the motolizard in preparation for our flight. But in a daze, I kneel at the edge of the steel chamber, dreading the next few minutes. Unable to bring myself to move.
The drop into Area Zero begins high above the clouds, and ends on uncertain ground. We don’t know what’s down there, nor do we know what types of strange Pokémon might be flying with us on our way. Pokémon we could potentially crash into. Arven is the only one who can tell us what to expect, but he’s kept it vague, not wanting to have to recount his horrible experiences down there as a kid.
The sound of metal clunking against metal echoes through my ears. Looking up and to my right side, I see the group all ready to go, Raidon inching forward. My eyes widen with panic.
Oh… oh god, it’s time.
I begin to shuffle over, but the upturn of Raidon's front legs tells me I don’t have as much time as I think.
“GET ON!”
Reaching out towards Arven’s outstretched hand, I sprint to him. His smile says he’s amused, but the glint in his eye shows determination. Behind him, Nemona laughs delightfully, and behind Nemona, Penny smirks. Analyzing the situation. As if she’s calculating how high of a chance there is that if they don’t die here, I will.
Before Raidon can plummet, Arven’s and my fingertips touch. Before I can grab his hand, he bypasses my fingers and firmly grasps my wrist. My heart skips a beat at the contact.
In the next beat, I’m airborne.
My friends howl and cheer beside me. Treating the plunge like we’re dropping down a rollercoaster at fucking Super Nintendo World. I, on the other hand, am screaming bloody murder. Cursing out Arven for prompting Raidon down so early instead of waiting two goddamn seconds for me to climb on. Cursing out Arceus, too, for fabricating this situation for me in the first place.
It feels like my shoulder or my wrist — maybe both? — are about to fall out of their sockets. I want to cry and throw up and most importantly I want to grab Arven’s forearm with my other hand for feigned security, but the wind is too strong against me, and my nerves are too high to do much of anything.
After what seems like far too long, I feel a tug at my arm. My body glides forward as my teary eyes squint through the changing air pressure. A rough yank whips my face past Arven’s. He lets go. I yelp, feeling my body drift away from the group for a brief few milliseconds. Then, two strong hands find my sides and pull, planting me down onto the Pokémon.
How did he—??!
My hands instinctively grip onto Raidon’s horns, but my chest is still anxiously heaving, while butterfrees roam freely through my stomach.
The past few moments play on repeat in my head, mentally removing me from the present.
Arven’s calloused hand consuming my wrist. Arven demonstrating borderline superhuman strength, as he tugs all [redacted] pounds of me through the air. Arven’s large hands finding my hips and positioning me against his body; the back of my ass to the front of his groin, the outside of my short legs spread almost fully against the inside of his longer ones.
Oh no, I’m horny.
I could’ve died, but instead of being mad or fearful, I’m being horny.
I gasp as I feel a warm breath against my ear, followed by a whisper: “I’ve got you, bud.”
Arven punctuates the end of his sentence with a quick squeeze on my hips. The softness of his voice and sensation of his lips brushing my earlobe while he holds me like this sends a shiver down my spine.
Oh good god, that did not help anything!
A chirp from Raidon breaks me from my impure thoughts and reminds me to help it steer. I take a deep breath, sit up a bit straighter, and guide us down to safety.
We quickly determine upon landing that Area Zero is much prettier than any of us could’ve ever imagined. It’s abundant with waterfalls, creating rainbows in the distant mist. There’s an absurd amount of tera crystals, all in weird places; coating tree trunks, and seeming to sprout from the rocky edges of the crater more than from the land itself. Each beam of sunlight peeking through the thick clouds above bends to make even the smallest particles of pollen drifting through the breeze shine beautifully, as though the air itself is shimmering around us.
And the Pokémon – oh, don’t even get me started on how cool these things are. Before we could even find our bearings, Nemona was already running off to inspect them. Scared the shit out of Arven, Penny and I, sneaking away like that, but now that we’re seeing them for ourselves, nobody can blame her.
Some are made of metal, seemingly robotic in every sense of the word, just like Raidon. Others are only rarely found up on the mainland, such as Glimmora. Nemona and I have only ever encountered one prior to today because La Primera has one on her team, while Penny and Arven didn’t know it existed. The only downside to all of the cool Pokémon here is that one of them must have spooked Raidon really badly in the past. It returned itself to its ball earlier, and now refuses to come out, so we don’t have it as a mode of transport.
By the time the four of us come across the first research facility, as per the Professor’s instructions, we decide that’s a good stopping point for the day. With the sun setting and a bed and bathroom right here for our use – albeit they’re a bit worse for wear – it seems like this is the perfect time to rejuvenate our strength for the rest of our adventure.
Once we scope out the contents of the old lab reports that are scattered around, as well as decide on which direction to head the following day, Arven makes us some sandwiches. We use the last bit of daylight to remain outdoors, so as to avoid the stuffiness of the building we’re camping inside of.
The little bit of downtime while Arven works allows my thoughts to veer from the tasks at hand, and unfortunately, I’m right back where I was on Raidon. I’m totally spaced out. I have a stunning view of the depths of the crater right ahead of me, yet the only images in my mind consist of Arven.
Can’t stop myself from thinking of how his hands would feel on my bare sides. I’m unable to avoid fantasizing about how his lips would feel on mine, rather than merely brushing the cold tip of my ear; or of his hand easily gripping both of my wrists, holding them above me while he uses his lips elsewhere.
Saving me from myself, Nemona hops over to where I’m seated, recruiting me for dinner. Thank Arceus.
_______________
A few hours of eating, bonding, and bantering have passed, and now everyone is winding down for bed. Penny and Nemona bickered for the cot, only to settle on sharing it. Nemona knocked out almost as soon as she hit the old, mildewy pillow (eugh), while Penny opted to pop her earbuds in and play something on her Switch until she can fall asleep. Why she’d risk bringing that thing down here is beyond me.
That just leaves Arven and I to figure out where and how to sleep.
Great.
This is fine.
Everything is fine.
He’s seated on a ready-to-break office chair, and I’m sitting near him, legs dangling off of the crescent-shaped desk…? Work station? Whatever this is. Arven and I look at each other, look at Arven’s empty sleeping bag on the ground, look at one another again, squint, and then simultaneously speak up:
“You can take my sleeping bag,” he says, while I proclaim, “I’ll sleep on the floor.”
“What? No!” we – again, simultaneously – respond to one another. I deadpan him, while his brows furrow and he cocks his head at me.
“I’m not stealing your sleeping bag,” I quietly argue, not wanting to wake up Nemona or disturb Penny.
Arven rolls his eyes, then matches my tone. “It’s not stealing if I’m offering it to you. And I’m sure as hell not letting you sleep on the floor.”
“Oh, sorry, let me rephrase. I’m not accepting your offer.”
“Alright, so neither of us will use it. Does that sound better to you?”
“Why the fuck would that sound better?!” I whisper-yell. He shrugs. I close my eyes, tilt my head back, and sigh. “I’ll see if one of my Pokémon want to offer themselves up as my pillow.”
Arven sternly says my name. I hum inquisitively, grabbing a Pokéball from my backpack and inspecting it in my hand. I hear him sigh before he speaks up again. “We’re sharing it.”
My eyes widen and meet his. “P-pardon?”
“My sleeping bag.” He stands up and walks over to it, then lowers himself in. “We’ll share.” Arven holds up the edge, allowing space for me to crawl in with him.
“Isn’t it a bit… uh…”
“Little? Yeah, just like you,” he quips. “Works out perfectly, if you ask me.”
Heart ready to thump right out of my chest, I square my shoulders and look him in the eye. “...Fine!” I squeak. I hesitate before pushing off the desk, then meekly pad on over to him.
He snorts. “You’ve got the strength of a Champion, and have taken down four – technically five, if you count the lil’ sushi guy – Titan Pokémon. Pokémon that could’ve easily killed us both. What makes you so nervous about this?” he jests.
I feel my face heat up as I kneel down beside Arven. I grumble, “Shut up…” before sliding in next to him. “Should I… like…?” I ask, more to myself than to him, shuffling around to figure out which way to lay so that we can both comfortably fit.
Seeming to have thought I was talking to him – understandably so – Arven takes matters into his own hands.
Literally.
Oh god.
His hands meet my hips again, except this time, the tee I brought down here to sleep in rides up a little. One of his fingers presses the skin of my side, sending Gooserene-bumps across my body. Then, he flips me around and pulls the back of my body flush against him.
“C’mere, you little...” he trails off, pretending to be annoyed.
My brain takes a few seconds to process what’s happening. When I don’t zip up the sleeping bag right away, Arven reaches over me. There’s no way I’ll survive the night like this. The zipper makes it about an inch from its starting point before I put a hand on his arm to stop him.
“Uh, actually, I’m gonna go get some air. Head kinda hurts.”
I shimmy out from under Arven’s arm, and step out of the sleeping bag, promptly leaving the facility before he can say much of anything. There are enough lights planted on the building to ward off any pesky nocturnal Pokémon, so I know I’ll be safe as I wrap around to the side and sit down in the grass. I lean my back on the station, take a deep breath, and look out at the view I neglected earlier.
I’ve gotta try to clear my head before I go back in there. I can’t spend the night in constant contact with the person who’s currently the star of all my perverted desires. What happens if I have a wet dream? What happens if I verbalize any of this hypothetical dream in my sleep?
I’m so screwed.
My fingers fidget with the grass as a stupid thought crosses my mind.
What if I just…? Y’know…?
I stand up to peek around the corner at the front of the building, knowing nobody is around, but wanting to play it safe before I do something reeeally fucking stupid. Then I look side to side. I look up and around for cameras, making sure the Professor can’t see what I’m about to do.
Sitting back down where I was, I think I’m in the clear. If I concentrate really hard, I can get off, and then I’ll go to the bathroom to clean up a bit, and then I’ll probably be alright to get back in that tiny little sleeping bag with Arven without combusting.
Giving myself a curt nod of encouragement, I reach a nervous hand into my sleep shorts. I’m embarrassingly prepared already… all this just from being so pent up all day. I feel like a monster. A horny, insatiable monster.
Making quick use of my fingers, I’m forced to bite my lip to stop any sounds from escaping me. I’m never noisy while I masturbate, except maybe while I’m cumming sometimes. This is so embarrassing, even if there’s nobody around to see it.
I shake the guilty thoughts from my head, wanting to simply get the job done and return inside. I can be as distracted as I want when I’m back in my dorm in Arceus knows how long.
For now, I need to focus.
Eyes shut and knuckles against my mouth, my imagination runs wild with some of the dirty thoughts I had earlier as I lose myself in pleasure. It honestly helps so much to have had those ideas ready to use, rather than having to conjure up new ones… and it immerses me enough that I haven’t noticed the soft footsteps on the grass just a few meters away from me.
The only reason I stop what I’m doing is because I hear my name being spoken cautiously, as if approaching a feral Pokémon, by none other than the man I was just fantasizing about.

Submission by @oblonger:
A short Mortality Exchange Au fic in which Twig leaves, and Celebi tries to convince her to stay. Written by that weird guy who really likes these blorbos for some reason.
Twig is walking on a rarely used trail in the forest. Arms folded across her chest. Celebi is flying close behind, as she has been all night. "We can figure this out Twig!" Celebi pleaded. Ever since she found out about Twig's plan, she stayed up all night, past when Twig was sure they would all be asleep, with every intention to convince her to stay. "I already told you! I can't, and I won't!" Twig spat. She was hoping that by playing into her evil nature that she would finally convince Celebi to leave her alone. Twig picked up her pace, going down each splitting path that was thinner than the last. "I've already hurt you guys enough! I don't need to keep doing it because I can't control these stupid powers!" Celebi flew up past Twig's shoulder to look at her directly. Twig kept her eyes locked to the ground. "From one legend to another Twig, I can tell you right now that it's going to take time to figure it out but I know you can! You've done hard things before, you can do this too!" Tears were beginning to form in Twig's eyes. "You don't give people nightmares just by being around them Celebi! You don't know what it's like!" Celebi steeled her expression "But I still had to practice with my powers! It didn't come as naturally as you assume it did!" Twig began to cry. Her arms tightened around her chest. "But you didn't hurt anyone without wanting to!" Celebi looked exasperated. "Twig, I looked into the future, I know for a fact that you can control your powers! all you have to do is trust me!" Trust her. A memory came flooding back.
(Twig found Kip writhing in pain as he slept. Another nightmare. Why was this happening? Darkrai was dead. This shouldn't be happening! Twig began to shake Kip. That worked before... Nothing. Tears silently began to run down Kip's cheeks. "No! Please!" Kip muttered. Twig shook him harder. Pleading for him to wake up. Calling out his name. The possibility that he would be in this nightmare forever crossed her mind. Twig began to cry. She began to beg for his awakening. "Please wake up!" Twig cried out. As though her plea was answered, Kip shot awake. Gasping for air. Twig gave him space to recuperate. Once Kip had finished, she pulled him into a hug. "Th-that nightmare was awful Twig. I-I thought I was dying." "I-I thought you wouldn't wake up." Kip and her cried on each other's shoulders. In that moment it all made sense. She knew why this was happening. This was her fault. This is happening to her friends as her punishment for killing Darkrai. This would keep happening to her friends if she stayed. She vowed then and there to leave that night, So this would never happen again.)
How could she trust Celebi if she couldn't even trust herself to not hurt them? She would never be able forgive herself if she let someone trust her again. It was too much for Twig to handle. Her tail flame was increasing in size. Tears of sorrow and terror and wrath were streaming down her face. Twig stopped walking and swung around face Celebi. "YOU'RE LYING!!!" Twig thundered with a force and volume previously unknown to her. No doubt a side effect of becoming a legend. The nearby branches shook as though blown by the wind, the sounds of the midnight forest went dead silent, and Celebi flew back a couple feet, with a look of abject horror across her face. "I Can't trust you Celebi!!" Twig yelled, the words felt vile. Like a deadly poison that kills everything it touches. She looked down at the ground. No longer able to look her friend in the eye. "You know what to say to get me to come back even though it's not true!" Twig gasped for air. It felt like she was being buried alive in sand. "I'm never coming back! And you better hope to Arceus it stays that way!" Twig hyperventilated for a some seconds before gathering the courage to finally look back up at Celebi. She hovered there. Speechless. She had an expression of pure heartache and fear,. Tears were rolling down her face. Twig regretted everything. She wanted to apologize. She wanted to take back all of her lies. She wanted to admit that Celebi was right, and that everything she said was true. She wanted to agree with her and go back home. With her friends. But those memories of seeing her friends in pain flashed in her mind. It was a miasma that haunted her. They suffered because of her, And they would continue suffering if she stayed. This is the only option. Twig wordlessly turned and began to run into the forest as fast as her legs could carry her. She couldn't stay here. Not anymore. Celebi's choked up voice projected into her mind "I know you don't mean it." Somehow, that hurt worse than any insult she could have ever said.
Twig didn't slow down. She didn't know how long she ran for. She continued running until her legs gave out from exhaustion. Twig sat up and wiped the tears from her eyes so she could see clearly. The sky was beginning to become brighter, she's in an unfamiliar part of the forest with no trail, And Celebi is nowhere to be found. Twig dragged herself under the nearest tree, curled up, and began weeping. She felt colder than usual.

so remember back circa 2016ish when PoGo had just came out, and the big thing was Baby!Spark confusing Zapdos with a weird looking fearow to have on his team?
anyway I'm thinking about the (...still not started) Apocrypha run of PLA where the MC uses the three legends as their starters with similar sheltered/lost-their-fecken-glasses-because-WHO-WEARS-THEIR-GLASSES-TO-BED-ARCEUS-THEY-CAN'T-S-E-E
I know I want Giratina → wurmple ('HOW do you mistake it for a wurmple!?' 'the alpha rapidash was like 20 feet tall he's just a Big Boy!')
not sure about the other two though.
Dialga could lean stantler maybe but not sure on Palkia. that one with the baby pouch maybe? (kangaskan I think?) but it's not native to the game so ehh.
alternatively "look I found the long awaited steel and flying eeveelutions!" "it's not even flying type how do you-" "I SAID EEVEELUTIONS"

So like. Julius Caesar and Pope Gregory XIII don’t exist in the Pokémon universe. So there’s no reason for the Julian or Gregorian calendars to exist. Angels don’t exist in the Pokémon universe either, so the Enoch calendar, but the story behind that is Uriel came down and gave Enoch a calendar with exactly 13 weeks in all four seasons for 364 days.
Black and White confirmed that the Pokémon universe has four seasons, and it’s entirely possible for a human to have created a calendar splitting Arceus’ eighteen Plates throughout the year, each month containing 4 five-day weeks.
And if they did, the months could look something like this:
Tumblr media
[ Image ID: A list containing all eighteen Pokémon types split between the four seasons. Spring has Normal, Fairy, Poison, and Electric types, with Electric underlined. Summer has Grass, Bug, Fire, Steel, and Fighting types, with Grass and Bug italicized and Fire underlined. Autumn has Psychic, Flying, Ground, and Dragon, with Flying Underlined. Finally, Winter has Rock, Ghost, Ice, Dark, and Water, with Ice and Water underlined. / End ID. ]
Explanations under the cut.
Summer and Winter have five months because of math Fire and Ice are the Summer and Winter Types. These are explained in-universe as the Supreme (Type) Months, the months in the dead middle of their respective seasons without any dimming or bleeding into the next season. And this is TRUE in the Pokémon universe because (most) people aren’t stupid enough to cause ecological disasters when causing an ecological disaster awakens an all-powerful legendary Pokémon that’s angry at you specifically for causing an ecological disaster! Global warming doesn’t exist! People are afraid of Cappy the Polar Ice Cap Legendary smacking them out of existence!
I’m open to discussion and suggestions about where to shift each type.
Italicized types were considered for a different season, and will be explained more thoroughly.
Underlined types probably won’t be changed without an Astounding Logical Argument that makes me feel stupid for even considering anything else.
Spring:
Animals give birth in the spring and Normal Type Pokémon are based on normal animals.
Fairies are associated with. Um. *flips notes* n. nature. i’m gonna be real with you in every planned-but-not-written explanation of a human sensing fairy type energy i describe it as “smelling wildflowers” and that’s all that went through my head.
Poisonous animals like frogs and snakes and the like. They hibernate. They come out of hibernation in the spring. Yay! This could easily be Winter for the same reason PLUS the fact that you store poisons in cold, sometimes freezing, temperatures.
Electric likely will not change. Thunderstorms happen most frequently in the spring months, because of the moisture and the heat present in the air. Electric could have easily been a Summer Type but I figured that because it rains more frequently in the spring because of snowmelt (“April Showers … May Flowers”), it would be easy to rationalize thunderstorms happening more often in the Spring in Pokéland.
Summer:
Grass and Bug were both considered for Spring because of the whole winter melts away and grass blooms and whatnot and then of course once the plants bloom it attracts the bugs. If I were going to change these two Grass would go to Spring and Bug would stay in Summer maybe.
But I ended up choosing Summer for these two because the summer sun makes the Grass grow and also all the other plants and then the heat and humidity brings all the Bugs to the yard. and they’re like. your sweat is tasty. why do bugs swarm humans we’re so much bigger than them.
Fire is unlikely to change. It’s the Sound of Summer. Summer hot. Sun go brr. Heat Wave Waves Heatingly. Etcetera.
You use fires to forge Steel. Or something along those lines. Honestly I just pulled that out of my butt, I was thinking about Heatran and like Heatran is a legendary and sub Steel. Volcanos or whatever.
THE FLAMES OF YOUTH IGNITE WITHIN FIGHTING TYPES and that’s why they’re in the summer. If you try to fight in the winter you like. Cramp up or something right? Is that bias? I hate winter it causes my body pain.
Autumn
Psy. chic? Fall Season is. appropriately. brain. y. (this is literally my favorite type i was NOT going to put it into the Evil Winter Season. die winter. i hope the global warms faster i’d rather drown than freeze.)
Flying was unlikely to change... however, migration plus tornadoes sneason was my initial thought. But Tornadus-Therian Searion is actually in the spring and migration is a two way street, the birds come back in the pringles. I might just. Switch Flying and Poison. If you Aggron Agree with switching Flying with Poison let me know in the comments.
You know how you run out of spaces and a type just HAS to go into a slot? Luckily I only had one of those. Unlucky it was Dragon. You smart folks probably have a better idea as to what Dragon should switch into but unless you have a good reason as to why the second Type should switch out, don’t @ me (or do @ me I like the attention).
Winter
Mountains are wintery and snowy because they’re so tall. And do you know what mountains are made of? …You do? Can you tell me, I’m lost, I thought they were made of chocolate but they don’t melt in the summer time so that idea’s washed…
Ghost was originally in the Fall, because Spooky Halloween, except not only could October totally be in the Winter now that I’m in charge of the calendar, and if it can’t, then Halloween doesn’t have to be a Fall holiday, it can be a winter holiday!
Ice? Ice. Baby.
Do you know how Dark it gets during the winter? How quickly it gets Dark? Even if we eliminate Daylight Savings (and we are eliminating Daylight Savings) the Equinox still happens in Winter. Days are still shorter. Darker. Sneasel type.
Water is unlikely to change. Like, it was initially in the spring because “oh look the ice is melting it’s time for spring” no bitch that shit cold. the ocean is cold. even during the summer the lakes are cold. it’s at the end of Winter towards the Spring side of things but That Shit Cold.
and that’s it that’s all i have does anyone have ideas for month names or day names aren’t the months named after like. emperors or something. should we name the months after legendaries. If someone comes up with a month name that’s a palindrome that starts with Ho and ends with oh I’ll give you $10. Call that a fiction commission.

The Signs As Asshole Pokemon Strategies
Virgo: Funbro. And they have the time, patience, energy, and sadism to make sure Fun is had.
Sagittarius: Double Team! Double Team again! Double Team again! And once more for the road!
Capricorn: Every entry hazard comes up. Level 1 Prankster Riolu using Copycat to call up Roar. And rinse. And repeat.
Leo: In the immortal words of the Pokemon Stadium 2 announcer, "Look at that Swagger! Oh, its confusion made it tougher!"
Libra: The ol' Name-the-Arceus Flying-"Arceus Steel"-To-Draw-Earthquake trick
Gemini: Full fucking Baton Pass chain ending in a Simple Bibarel. That's right. Ain't nothing banned around here. Have fun eating log, asswipe.
Taurus: Their Octillery is Moody, mad as hell, and would you look at that, they somehow messed with the game to make it Level 666. Spooky stuff!
Cancer: Dragapult
Aquarius: Do you like being poisoned? Probably not, right? Well, too bad - they've got Toxic Spikes, Leech Seed, Snowstorm, Sandstorm, Storm Drain, Strom Thurmond, the works, you name it. Watch your HP slowly slough off and regret every decision you've made in your life, such as strategical Pokemon battling.
Pisces: Indefinitely forbidden from owning, breeding, raising, or training Pokemon since The Incident several months ago.
Aries: One-hit knockout, baby. Sheer Cold, Fissure, Horn Drill, Guillotine, a large gun that shoots real bullets, you name it, they have it.
Scorpio: Six of every mythical Pokemon. Claims they weren't hacked and they're legit. Uh-huh. Sure. And to be clear, you're totally not jealous. Totally.

hey!! me and my friends decided to make a rotomblr account to talk about our journey. so here we are!
my name’s Miku, but you can call me Mind! i’m from Johto and i have 3 gym badges. i was in the middle of my journey before something happened (still not sure what lol) which led to me getting psychic powers. we’re still working on resolving that issue so if things around you just feel… unstable, that might be why. but it sounds like there’s already a bajillion crazy things happening across the multiverse so it may not be lol. me and all my friends share this account so feel free to talk to any of us :)
//ooc
An unreality pokemon irl blog by @determinedowl23. This takes place during an au where the Arceus Plates were shattered and their pieces got scattered across the multiverse and landed in possession of the Mikus, who are trying to put them all back together to restore peace to everything.
Each Miku signs off with their own emoji both in the post itself and the tags. I also tag them with “#plv [nickname]” for another way to find them if you don’t remember the emojis.
OOC posts will be tagged as such and any time I comment ooc there will be two slashes before it (like above the cut). I am a minor, and so are many of the Mikus, so no nsfw
No magic anons until I get more settled into this blog, but Pelipper mail is okay!
Unreality warning for pretty much anything on here lol

Love your work! I’ve got a prompt if you’re still taking them: Ingo leads Akari through the dark wayward cave. Melli putting out the torches makes it very hard to see, and a playful Pokémon takes advantage of this. Akari had to relight the torches to see what has gotten ahold of Ingo and is making him laugh so much.
Thank you Anon! This one was a fun one, so I hope you enjoy it!
Monsters that Lurk in the Dark
Series: Pokemon Legends Arceus
Characters: Akari, Ingo, (and a 'mystery' pokemon)
Words: 1,446
Summary: Akari and Ingo have to travel through Wayward Cave, but an unexpected silly event occurs when they’re unable to see their surroundings in the dark. Enjoy!
Wayward Cave is known for its winding passage, housing many creatures in every shape and size. Torches usually illuminate its path, allowing travelers to avoid getting lost within the darkness. However, there are times when the flames go out, allowing dangers to freely slither through the shadows. No one is safe from even the tiniest of monsters that hide inside.
Akari walks along the Coronet Highlands towards the entrance of Wayward Cave. She’s meeting Ingo here so that they can visit Lady Sneasler on the other side of the Highlands, and the two decided to go through the cave in order to get there. The trainer spots the Pearl Clan warden at the mouth of the cavern. He seems to be pondering about something.
“Hey Ingo!” Akari greets him with a wave. The warden perks his head up when he hears the girl and tips his hat politely at Akari’s arrival.
“Ah, Miss Akari. Good to see you. We would depart right away, but it seems we’ve run into a small delay.” Ingo signals towards the front of the cave, “I’m not sure if it was Melli playing tricks on us or a wild pokemon, but the torches within the cave have gone out. Not to worry though, I have an extra torch here we can use to relight them.”
“Oh, thank you Ingo!”
“Of course, Miss Akari. Safety always comes first.” He then grabs the extra torch that was leaning on the rocks and lights it on the ground with some flint and steel. He stands, now with the bright fire burning at the edge of the thick branch, and turns towards the cave. “Now, let us move at a steady pace. All aboard!” he yells and points his index finger forward in his iconic pose.
Ingo leads the way into the cave and Akari follows close behind. When they walk in, the darkness surrounds them. The natural light from the entrance begins to fade as they move further into the cave, and the only object that guides their eyes are the burning flames of the torch Ingo holds. The chill inside seems to counter the heat they can feel from the crackling fire.
Fortunately for them, they’re easily able to find the first torch that had gone out. Ingo dips the extra torch onto the unlit one and it ignites, allowing them to see more of the rocky cave in front of them. They find the next unlit torch, and then the next as they travel along the path.
They eventually make it halfway through the cave, a small body of water appearing on their right. However, while Ingo lights the next torch to guide them, danger strikes. An alpha Crobat jumps out in front of them from the tunnel it usually resides in. The large pokemon lets out a piercing shriek and strong winds blow as it flaps its wings. Ingo holds down his hat and stands in a defensive position, while Akari shields her eyes from the rocky dust flying through the air.
“Miss Akari, stay behind me!” Ingo exclaims over the raging currents. Crobat shrieks again and flaps its wings furiously as it throws out an air slash towards the warden and the trainer. The impact of the attack launches them both backwards, the strong winds also snuffing out any torches in the area. The space around them turns completely dark and the torch Ingo was holding falls somewhere along the cave floor with a hollowed wooden slam. The red glowing eyes of the alpha pokemon then disappear into the rocks as the large creature returns back to its hidden cavern.
Akari pushes herself up from the ground and regains her footing. With the torches out, she can barely see anything. The only source of light is the faint glow of the other torches in the distance that were unaffected by the Crobat’s air slash.
“Ingo! Ingo!” Akari calls into the dark, “Where are you!?”
“I’m here, Miss Akari!” Ingo calls back, his voice echoing throughout the cave. “Are you alright?”
“I’m fine! Are you?”
“Yes! It seems that the alpha Crobat has left, so we don’t need to worry about them. But what we do need to worry about is getting our vision back! The torch fell somewhere on the ground, so we should be able to find it.”
“Understood!” Akari responds. She gets down on her knees, then drags her hands across the cold stone flooring to feel for anything that could be the missing object. Although she can’t see the warden, she presumes he’s doing the same. After a few minutes of searching, Ingo calls out to her.
“Find anything yet, Miss Akari?” he asks from the darkness.
“No, not yet!”
“Strange, it shouldn’t have fallen that far-AH!”
Akari shoots her head up when she hears Ingo yelp. She quickly stands and yells to get his attention. “Ingo! What happened?! Are you-Huh?”
All of a sudden, Ingo’s laughter can be heard throughout the cave. Akari strains her eyes to try and see him, but it’s no use. “I-Ingo! What’s going on!?” she calls out again.
“I’m nohohot sure!” Ingo answers through what sounded like giggles, “Buhut something’s tic-AH! Stohop that!”
“Ingo!” Akari shouts, unsure of what kind of danger he’s in. She rushes to find the missing torch on the ground as Ingo’s laughter rings off the cavern walls. It doesn’t sound like he’s in pain, but whatever it is, Ingo needs help to escape it.
Akari slides her hands across the dark cave floor and finally comes across the handle of the missing torch. She grips the stick and runs towards the nearest lit torch by the entrance of the tunnel. She dips it in to ignite the wood, then dashes towards other torches that had gone out in the area to relight them. The space around the trainer and the warden become visible again, and Ingo’s attackers are finally revealed for Akari to see.
Apparently, three little dragon type pokemon, Gible, had caught Ingo when he was in the dark. But instead of attacking him, they were exploring ‘what’ he was. As a result, the little pokemon were inadvertently tickling him. Ingo sits on the ground with his arms wrapped around himself as the dragon types poke at him. Two of the creatures are positioned at his sides, while the third Gible clings onto the top of his head. A giggly smile is plastered on Ingo’s face as he tries shielding himself from the pokemon’s shenanigans.
Akari lets out a sigh of relief when she sees that Ingo is unharmed. In fact, she can’t help but chuckle at the predicament he’s in, “Well, this is a surprise.”
The little pokemon temporarily stop their attack and happily growl at the female trainer. While they've paused, Ingo catches his breath and looks at the three creatures around him.
“Gible!” Ingo exclaims in surprise, “They were Gible!” The little dragon on his left then takes a playful chomp at his side, ticklishly squeezing the warden’s skin through his uniform.
“Ah-Hehey! Noho biting!” Ingo giggles. The Gible on his right then chomps at his ribs, joining in with more ticklish bites; and the little dragon stationed on his head moves its snout to nuzzle into the back of the warden’s ear, also adding in some playful nibbles on the edges.
“Ack! And noho nibbling! Thahat tickles!” Ingo scrunches up his shoulders.
Akari chuckles at the adorable sight again. She could watch this scene all day, but she knows that Ingo’s had enough.
“Alright you three, come on,” Akari gently shoos the little pokemon away. The dragons squeak at the female trainer then run away into another tunnel, allowing Ingo to finally catch his breath.
“Thank you, Miss Akari,” he responds with a few residual giggles.
“You’re welcome,” she smiles and lends him a hand to pull him back onto his feet. Once he regains his footing, he dusts himself off and fixes his hat.
“I’m surprised,” he says, “Usually Gible are more…aggressive.”
Akari giggles into her hand.
“Hm? What’s so funny?” he questions.
“Well,” Akari grins, “They did technically ‘attack’ you.”
Ingo tilts his hat over his eyes to hide his embarrassment, “Yes…Yes, I suppose they did.” He takes a moment to regain his composure. “Now then, since that little detour is over, let us continue onward towards our destination.”
Akari nods and hands Ingo the torch to let him lead the rest of the way. Fortunately, they don’t run into any more danger, but the next time they travel through Wayward Cave, they have to be extra careful to avoid any tickle monsters that reside within these tunnels.

If ultrakill characters were pokemon, what types do you think they would be? Or what mons, if anything comes to mind?
Like
V1 can be sooooo many different types! There are the obvious steel and electric, then there's fighting because they're literally built to fight, then there's dark, the "evil" type, and bug type! As a treat.
Also omg iron jugulis is basically V1 and V2
And when I tried to think who gabe would be I went like.
Togekiss
Like,,,, feathery fluffy kinda angelic-looking creature, flying type obv, and fairy type, the "good" type, also in gen 4 togekiss was normal/flying and what's the most "divine" type if not the type of the God pokemon, Arceus
Also, more on the iron jugulis thing, I made a custom shiny version of the iron jugulis sprite (taken from a resource on reliccastle if I remember correctly), and man it's literally V2 fr fr xD
Behold:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
OMG THAT IRON JUGULIS.....I LOVE IT..... and oooughhh pokemon headcanons....i kind of always at least passively make up pokemon headcanons for characters, although i can have difficulty fully deciding on a team since there's so many to pick from (plus i'm...terrible at real team-building lol this is all PURELY vibes-based) i also usually try to pick a legendary or adjacent pokemon that suits a character SO while i have quite a few picks for all of them, these are the teams i currently have:
v1: blacephalon, toxicroak, gliscor, porygon-z, rotom, noivern
v2: xurkitree, arcanine, umbreon, archeops, dragapult, iron moth
gabriel: reshiram, togekiss (so glad you mentioned it, bc it's absolutely a gabe mon to me too!!!), gallade, pyroar, tyrantrum, dubwool
(bonus fallen gabe: giratina, froslass, hisuian zoroark, aegislash, dubwool (shiny), grimmsnarl)
as for the characters themselves, i so agree that the vs could go in a million different directions!! i really am partial to steel/bug, but i also enjoy v1 being steel/dark and v2 being steel/fighting (meaning it SHOULD be great against v1, and yet!!!) gabriel is a definite fairy/fire type, but his signature move is fairy-type...meaning it's useless against v1!! i like to think both of the vs have the ability sniper, but v1 can have adaptability while v2 can have tinted lens, and gabriel of course has serene grace. (another bonus fallen gabe: he would be a ghost/ice type and have the ability sheer force, both of which stand in direct contrast to his previous typing and ability)

                            Galactic Commander Taphao
Originally known as Petunia, she was built and programmed by a lonely old scientist— Chayne— who had made her with the purpose of acting as a daughter to him. She was programmed with full sentience, empathy, and emotional capabilities, truly the closest a robot could be to being human.
Petunia could not have been more happy with her life with Chayne, it was perfect, even if she had never known anything outside of it.   Though, one fateful day, Cyrus had sent Saturn and some grunts to offer to buy Petunia off of Chayne’s hands. They had been keeping tabs on his tech abilities for quite some time at that point. Chayne refused, not even all the money could possibly make him just sell Petunia like that. Saturn didn’t take kindly to his response.    He offered one last time accompanied with a threat. Chayne again refused. Saturn ordered the grunts to raid his home, poisoning Chayne with Toxicroak so he couldn’t fight back or run, and stealing Petunia and away from him. The last he saw of her was a blurry sight of her being dragged limp out the front door.
Petunia was taken back to HQ and shut off to be examined on her programming and capabilities. They planned to use her for gathering and stealing Pokémon, and training them to their highest abilities, even if it would hurt the Pokémon.    They took away her memories of her past, took away her extreme empathy, and gave her a new name.
And so, she became Taphao, fifth admin of Team Galactic.
Taphao’s emotions still would frequently get in the way of her job. Though they couldn’t be disabled by anybody but herself, as the hardware containing the emotional response system was locked deep inside her build. Tech that could only be disassembled by Chayne himself. And by Arceus we’re they not going back to him.
She would often report back to headquarters looking distant and ashamed. Sometimes when she would be alone in her repair room, she would cry. This would gunk up her face plates, and cause issues with her performance. So it would be routine for Saturn— who had become the one who would be responsible for fixing any issues with Taphao— to come in and clean any trace of the black oil she cried.    It got to a point where Saturn had gotten so annoyed with having to clean her face and hands over and over again, that he just kept pestering her with things like— “Why don’t you just turn off your emotions yourself? Clearly they aren’t helping anybody. You’d be better off without them. Not to mention the rest of us who have to deal with you.”    Taphao had really begun to consider it after a while   And to make it all worse, she would remember of her past with Chayne from time to time, causing her to fly into a panic. Each time this occured, she would be shut off and her memories would be erased again. The reason the memories would come back was hypothesized to be that they were stored on a databank deep inside Taphao’s build. Similar to her emotional response system.
And for worse for Team Galactic, these remembrances would occur most oftenly when Taphao was in the middle of a Pokémon heist.
A constant battle of emotions and memories of her past life. Memories fighting to come back only to be erased once again.    After enough time, she couldn’t handle it anymore.    She shut off her ability to feel sympathy and empathy for people for good.     Only tiny fragments of what once was peeking through the darkness of what had become.
⭐️ Taphao’s name comes from the planet 47 Ursae Majoris c, which was formerly named Taphao Kaew.
⭐️ She had lived with Chayne for 2 years before taken into Team Galactic
⭐️ She is a steel type specialist (Woah who would’ve guessed? /s). She feels especially connected with robotic-ish Pokémon.
⭐️ Her team consists of: Magnezone, Bronzong, Steelix, Scizor, Probopass, and the odd shiny magnemite
⭐️ Magnemite does not offer much to her team at all. She found it by herself while trying to find Pokémon to take, she caught it for herself and didn’t let anyone know, as she didn’t want to put it through torturous training. She finds herself attached to it, even if she can’t express it in any other way than keeping it on her team.
⭐️ Taphao, despite being an AI, is incredibly athletic
⭐️ Perks of being a robot: you never run out of breath, you can outrun and chase down anything if you’re fast enough.
⭐️ As she cannot feel for most humans anymore, she had no issue ruthlessly stealing from trainers. Though she still has issue with putting their Pokémon through the tortuous training
⭐️ Taphao: literally beats up and robs a sad crying man for his Staraptor and feels no remorse
Also Taphao when she has to put said Staraptor through training: AUASJDUGHWAAHAHSHS 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 (but internally)
⭐️ Everyone sees her as the 4th admin of Team Galactic because nobody likes Charon (L)
⭐️ Similarly to humans, she can get viruses, but it’s just computer viruses. She was built in such a way that they cannot spread throughout her body. If her system detects one, as it shuts off whatever body part has been infected so it’s no longer connected to the rest of her system. (Picture shows what it would look like if her left hand got a virus)
⭐️ Her repair room is basically like her bedroom.
⭐️ Rarely expresses emotions physically
⭐️ She’s pretty content with where she is in her life, aside from putting the Pokémon through the training and stuff. Otherwise she’s having a pretty okay time. Until she regains her memories, but that’s always shut down pretty much asap.
⭐️ She can still feel for some people if she allows herself to become attached, which she only does if she knows it won’t get in the way of her job.

Yall wanna see some cringe?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I decided to try creating pokemon variants or similar that one might find in my home state of Ms. I'm still working on more but it's a fun thought and doodle experiment
Blurb under cut. Please try not to take it all too seriously lol, this was just for funsies.
I'm also indulging my younger self. See a long, long time ago when I was a kid, I used to see my home as a place you could easily find pokemon around the corner. Tauros in the fields, Noctowl in the trees, the wasps were angry Beedrill, you get the idea
It was magical, a time before greed and capitalism caused rushed and unfinished games with questionable decisions by game freak higher ups. A time where I could just kinda look at the tall grass or the woods and see pokemon just living naturally without feeling a ton of responsibility or guilt for existing.
Recently I've decided to try exploring that AU, where states and such have their own dexes. Obviously some would overlap, like I'm very sure the Gulf Coast would have very similar dexes, but my idea would be that could start out with different starters that have different variant evolutions- and heck, you could even cross state borders to get theirs if that's what you wanted.
But for now, without getting way too deep, I decided to make variants based on critters that either exist here or have some sort of cultural tie in.
Let's go:
Typhlosion, Fire/Ground, low temp fires but also used for welding and construction, trusted with kids because they don't tend to start fires they don't quickly put out. The original line is already kinda mixed of badgers, weasels, moles, etc, but I think there's plenty of those here, and if nothing else Cyndaquil IS the fire mouse pokemon, and by God we got mice. Favoritism put it here admittedly since Cyndaquil was my very first pokemon in the games, and I'd want the same irl.
Blastoise, Water/Rock, basically more of a mobile tank people ride on. Uses the bubbles around its legs as wheels. Based on box turtles that live here
Chesnaught, Grass/Steel, based on various loggers and blue collar workers from here, helps with those sort of jobs and is pretty intelligent. It can form shields or slice up trees easily with its arm saws.
Yanma, Bug/Flying, based on dragonflies I see around the house
Yanmega, Bug/Steel, evolves while knowing Steel Wing. Tends to eat rusted metal from old farms and junk yards, very quick
Salandit, Ice/Electric, based on blue tailed skinks I see around my house often
Freezard, Ice/Electric, evolves from male ms Salandit. They take things by force if they want and their tails can be used as whips. Usually the females keep them in line though.
Corvilich, Flying/Rock- actually a cross over from a fan region I dabble in during my spare time. Lots of crows and corvids here, so naturally I think they'd be here too. Evolves from Corvisquire. They fight each other over nice bones and are great fliers, and are very intelligent, may or may not have good and bad omens associated
Miltank, Water/Normal, based on cows I see often taking dips in local ponds. Ms is a very farm heavy state, so I could see us having our own moomoo milk market. The arms and legs act like floaties.
Dragonite, Dragon/Fairy, evolves from Dragonair with high friendship. I wanted a psuedo legend, and then I found out Ms has its own dragon stories (even a town). I also thought it'd be neat to make a friend you'd maybe see in a forest, so I also added butterfly elements to it from the Great Purple Hairstreak.
I'm still making more, I'm progressing and getting a little better as I go, but I don't wanna get too crazy making a bunch. I'm thinking maybe about the same amount as Legends Arceus introduced. I do want to try making a full, balanced team, though, so I'll probably make more for that. So far though I could see myself with Typhlosion, Corvilich, Freezard, and Dragonite. Looking for a water type and maybe a doggo.

personal thoughts on the project voltage mikus:
grass: i want to ask why she's a cheerleader, but it's a really good look on her. kind of looks inspired by the galar gym leader outfits. i like the leaves in her hair. 8/10
fire: she's... kind of plain? it's a cute outfit but eh. i do like the official art where she's sharing her mic with her skeledirge tho. 5/10
water: honestly. that hair. the outfit is plain again but her HAIR. also i like the piano design on her chest. 7/10
rock: girl walked straight out of the nutcracker. it's so good. also i think she basically mega evolves. 9/10
normal: a goofy gal!! the outfit is so ugly that it wraps back around to iconic. 9/10
ghost: okay, having her be glitchy as part of being a ghost is clever. like she's a program that was brought back wrong. again, it's plain, but it's interesting. 8/10
bug: the vibes here are immaculate. maybe i'm biased as a former lolita, but that's an amazing coord and the ribbon wings are so cute. 10/10
steel: reminds me of celesteela. the pokeball-mic-sword is a fun touch. she looks like a cool anime heroine. 8/10
fairy: babygirl... 10/10
flying: i'm not sure i like the colour of her hair, but it fits with the rest of the outfit. and it's a good outfit! plain but i'm a sucker for legwarmers. 7/10
electric: why is she a cowgirl. 10/10
psychic: i like the direction here. nothing fancy, just a normal gal who happens to have psychic powers. 8/10
poison: ugly like normal-type, but it doesn't work for me this time. please get that slime out of your hair. 3/10
ground: sand planet miku, but with pokemon. 9/10
ice: there's so much going on here. the icy hair i get, but the business suit? icy stilletos with claws on the front? lime green gloves? you do you, miss miku, but what. 7/10
dragon: she honest to arceus looks like the champion. she has a SWORD. and a CAPE. 10/10
dark: she looks like she should be singing in a sleazy criminal bar. the umbrella mic is a choice that i'm enjoying. 9/10
fighting: leek hair. 11/10

Okay so I finally thought of my Pokémon Sona team for Legends Of Arceus. I been thinking and decided with these but Alpha Pokémon!! Except Decidueye.

Am I thinking of a Ninjago/Pokémon AU again?
And I really going through with giving Cole a Froslass as a partner from his many travels?
Am I making Lloyd's reasons for theft being to feed an abandoned Eevee farm?
Yeah.
So in this Ninjago, the FSM is Arceus. Wu and Garmadon are Dialga and Palkia in disguise; The Overlord being Giratina when the FSM casted out his own darkness to create Ninjago.
Pokemon and Humans have been side by side since the realm's creation. And with their alliance, over time certain humans have been granted powers.
Elemental masters of this AU work within the Type limitations of Pokemon. The main five being their set types with sub types while the lesser powers are commonly single types.
Cole is Earth-type, sub Ghost
Jay is Electric-type, sub Flying
Zane is Ice-type, sub Phychic
Kai is Fire-type, sub Steel
Lloyd is Dragon-type, sub Normal
Nya is Water-type, and later sub Ice
During their early years, the Ninja have gained unlikely partners that they've met through travel or trading or other.
Cole's main partner is a Froslass.
He captured her when he was trekking a mountain suffering from massive temperature rises and found her casing herself in her own ice to survive. She was very angry at him at first, but grew more tame as he intentionally sought out colder locations to release her. When he did find her a suitable home in Birchwood's mountain range, she refused to leave him by that point.
Jay's main partner is a Houndoom.
A scraggly Houndour pup that the Walkers first adopted to keep some other security around the Junkyard. But as Jay grew up as a baby, the Houndour grew attached to the baby and evolved when Jay was 10. Even though he's a older pokemon, Jay can't think of a sweeter friend to travel with.
Zane's main partner is a Yellow Flower Floette.
During his early travels as an amnesiac, Flotette was a curious pokemon that approached him when he was making flowers crowns for a town festival. It was the only source of income for Zane and he was careful not to take more than he needed and attracted the whole field of wild pokemon. Though as Zane left, Floette followed him into town where he sold the crowns. She left with him the final night of the festival and the two had a traveling flower crown business ever since.
Kai's starter is a Pidgey.
The nasty bird was found half-drowned in one of Four Weapons' rain barrels after Kai shooed off a group of Littens. The Pidgey was annoying as hell, but Kai was certain to nurse it with Nya's help. When it was back to full health, Kai was exasperated to find the bird pokemon was back and nested above his shop's sign. He grew used to their presence and stopped trying to get rid of it and feeds it during dinner.
Nya's starter is a Combee.
During her childhood in Ignacia, a swarm of Combee and their Vespiquen were becoming too territorial and for the safety of the village, fire type pokemon were used to cast them farther away but in the midst of battle, a clutch of eggs were left behind. The village chose to distribute the eggs to farmers that could use the combees for pollination assistance and Kai nabbed one of the extra eggs a farmer client of his had. Nya was gifted the egg for her 9th birthday and the busybee has been Nya's lifelong friend.
Lloyd's main partner is Eevee... and Eevee. Then Eevee. Another Eevee. Eevee. There's more Eevee-
When Lloyd was still in Darkley's, one of the few benefits to learning there was the vast amount of rare pokemon that were given as partners for exam battles. Lloyd was the black sheep of the school and was always given caretaking duties. But Lloyd loved it cause he got to spend time with the baby pokemon that rotated through the school. When a shipment of Eevee eggs came in, Lloyd was again being put on the burner for his less than evil ways. And as a last FU- stole all the Eevee eggs he was assigned to care for and ran away from the school. He has at ten Eevees and he will stab anyone that tries to take them.
