SUBNAUTICA BELOW ZERO SPOILERS!
Finished Subnautica: Below Zero, had to draw some fanart because I think this lad is cool.
Tidbits:
I draw with keyboard and mouse.
Estimated time spent on the art is around 36 hours.
I don't know how to draw backgrounds at all.
The original size of this artwork was 7200 x 10800, but as it was too big I downsized it 50%.
This was the first artwork I've done in this style, as I usually experiment with styles. Also the largest artwork I've done in my life.
Shading is off because I don't know how to shade.

Honestly the only thing I can think of when watching Batman (or any villain) stuff is about the people who build the death contraptions. Like there had to be a whole construction crew to make that death trap. Who modded the bombs to look like Joker? Who makes Two-Face's suits? Where is Riddler getting all those question-mark shaped canes??

My greatest reading achievement this year is making myself plough through The Architects of Infinity. I usually love character driven novels but this one is just so painfully dull and boring, I honestly don't understand what was this book supposed to be and why Janeway and Chakotay suddenly feel like side characters and the issues they have with their relationship are just skimmed through and glossed over whereas the actual side characters take up like 3/4 of the book? And I don't know where to begin with the whole Harry/Nancy baby drama 🫠🫠🫠.
I liked bits with Tom and B'Elanna, though. 2.5/5 * for Tom and B'Elanna and the last 1/4 of the book.

Kongresshalle Airport Aviation Building, now known as the Haus der Kulturen der Welt, in Berlin, Germany.
It was designed by architect Hugh Stubbins and opened in 1957 as part of the International Building Exhibition (Interbau).
Berliners nicknamed it "the pregnant oyster" due to its unique shape.
The United States government gifted the building to West Berlin.
Today, it serves as Germany's national center for international contemporary arts, focusing on non-European cultures.

Mobile-First Approach: Optimizing Digital Marketing for Mobile Users
Tumblr media
In the age of smartphones and constant connectivity, adopting a mobile-first approach is not just a trend but a necessity for any successful digital marketing strategy. As users increasingly rely on mobile devices for online interactions, businesses, including those in the accounting sector, must prioritize optimizing their digital presence to capture the attention of mobile users and generate valuable leads for accountants. This guide explores the significance of a mobile-first approach and seamlessly integrates the keyword "leads for accountants" to enhance relevance and search engine visibility.
1. The Pervasiveness of Mobile Usage
Mobile devices have become ubiquitous, with a significant portion of online interactions occurring on smartphones and tablets. Recognizing this shift in user behavior is critical for businesses, especially those aiming to attract leads for accountants. A mobile-first approach involves designing digital assets, including websites and marketing content, with the mobile user experience at the forefront.
2. Responsive Website Design
Central to a mobile-first approach is the adoption of responsive website design. A responsive website seamlessly adapts to various screen sizes, ensuring an optimal viewing experience for users across devices. For generating leads for accountants, having a website that is easy to navigate, loads quickly on mobile devices, and provides relevant information contributes to a positive user experience and encourages lead engagement.
3. Mobile-Friendly Content
Content is the driving force of digital marketing, and a mobile-first strategy requires content that is not only compelling but also mobile-friendly. For leads for accountants, this could include concise and visually engaging content that captures attention quickly. Integrating the keyword naturally into this content ensures its alignment with search queries related to accounting services, enhancing its discoverability.
4. Streamlined Forms and Calls-to-Action (CTAs)
Mobile users often prefer streamlined interactions, and this extends to form submissions and calls-to-action. Optimizing forms for mobile devices, reducing the number of required fields, and strategically placing CTAs within the mobile layout enhance the likelihood of lead conversions. The seamless integration of "leads for accountants" in CTAs directs users towards taking specific actions related to accounting services.
5. Mobile-Optimized Email Campaigns
Email marketing remains a powerful tool for lead generation. A mobile-first approach entails designing email campaigns that are easily readable on mobile devices. Incorporating responsive design elements and ensuring that links and CTAs are accessible on smaller screens contribute to the effectiveness of email campaigns in attracting leads for accountants.
6. Utilizing Mobile Advertising Platforms
With the prevalence of mobile apps and social media usage on mobile devices, businesses can leverage mobile advertising platforms to target specific audiences. Crafting ad campaigns that resonate with the needs of potential leads for accountants and utilizing the keyword "leads for accountants" in ad copy enhances relevance and increases the likelihood of engagement.
7. Monitoring Mobile Analytics for Insights
A mobile-first strategy is not a one-time implementation but an ongoing effort that requires monitoring and optimization. Utilizing mobile analytics tools provides insights into user behavior, engagement patterns, and areas for improvement. Continuous analysis allows businesses to refine their mobile approach and tailor their digital marketing efforts to better attract and convert leads for accountants.
In conclusion, adopting a mobile-first approach is imperative for businesses seeking to optimize their digital marketing efforts and attract leads for accountants. By prioritizing responsive design, creating mobile-friendly content, streamlining forms and CTAs, optimizing email campaigns, leveraging mobile advertising platforms, and monitoring mobile analytics, businesses can ensure a seamless and engaging experience for mobile users, ultimately driving successful lead generation in the competitive landscape.

I was watching Killer Book Club today and they mentioned "compass" and "map" writers.
As a connoisseur of words, I like that a lot better than "pantser" and "plotter"

hey so can we hear about that baatar sr lore? 👀
Lmao ok. Just bear in mind that this is all headcanons and silliness.
So, we don't know much about Baatar Sr, other than the fact that he was Zaofu's architecht and somehow bagged the bad bitch Suyin Beifong who then proceeded to wring the poor man dry. He is also acrophobic, and Toph doesn't like him.
Truly a treasure trove of information.
Tumblr media
So we really have little clues from where he originates from. I personally took inspiration from his name, which is Mongolian, and means "hero" (which is funny, but might give us some insight on who his parents wished him to be). Due to this I always imagined he would come from some ethnic group inspired by Mongolian culture.
Though it is important to note that this is purely conjecture on my part, as this the origin of a name doesn't always mean much in the Avatarverse. For example, Katara's name seems to have roots in Arabic, despite her inspiration being rooted in native americans.
I think the most Mongolian inspirations we see in Avatar can be found in the Northern Water Tribe and the bordering areas of the Earth Kingdom, so I could see Baatar being born somewhere between the Chenbao province and the Taihua Mountains, not terribly far from the Northern Air Temple his daughter would one day head to to begin her Airbending training.
Tumblr media
I personally like the idea of Baatar's parents being a pair of surly old lesbians so that is my personal headcanon. His mom's gay. My friend once said he has "raised by lesbians" vibes and that had become canon to me.
I like the idea of his mothers being members, or perhaps even leaders, of some nomadic group, herding livestock and acting as travelling merchants. Maybe Baatar was expected to take on leadership after his mothers, and that is why his name has such a grand meaning lol.
And while I think Baatar loves his tribe and has deep care for his culture, he's always wanted to do something else with his life. He found himself drawn to and fascinated by the bustling cities they would visit, and eventually began drawing up fantastical ideas for homes and settlements in his sketchbook/diary.
Tumblr media
So, as a young adult, he finally takes the plunge and travels to Ba Sing Se, to study architecture. I think this would place a big strain on his relationship with his mothers, who wanted him to stay and eventually lead the tribe. Perhaps it would even lead to a few years of estrangement. Something for Baatar to have in common with Su lol
Baatar flourishes as an architect, but I think that once the intial excitement of building new things passes, he becomes disillusioned. Most of the people who hire him are upper ring citizens of Ba Sing Se, who either want him to replicate traditional buildings, or follow well established trends. His dreams of new creations and outlandish designs seem they will never have a chance to come to fruition.
But then he is sought out by Suyin, and she is wiling to back his creativity. And she, in some strange way, becomes his muse.
Tumblr media
The city he designs is beautiful, sleek and elegant, yet practical. Just like her. He works closely with Su, and they become fast friends. She tells him about her adventures, and he incorporates aspects of her stories into his designs. And, as the city of Zaofu begins to bloom upon the map, so does Su and Baatar's love for each other.
Tumblr media
I think they find solace in each other, two people isolated from their families, carving out their own place in the world and starting a family.
I don't think Baatar's mothers would care for the wedding, but they might show up at the news of grandbabies. While they're not the biggest fans of their son's weird metal city, they do like Su a whole lot! It is a mystery to them how their loser son bagged this baddie.
They're very loving grandmothers, however, they wish their grandbabies could grow up "properly"- travelling across the icy tundra up north. This has led to occasional attempted babynapping, as 3 year olds fit in saddle bags exceptionally well.
While I think that Baatar doesn't want his children leaving Zaofu quite yet, and doesn't miss his old life, I think he makes sure his kids know the basics of camping, and even made sure they all know how to ride, just for old times sake.
And while sometimes he reminisces fondly about his nomadic childhood, I don't think Baatar misses the life. He loves the home he built for his wife and family, his pride and joy is in creation, and in the life he designed alongside Suyin.

in a nutshell more fun idw Lithia and Pharma interactions! What if she meets the Pharma we see in LL (The Grand Architecht) first... Pharma getting control just for a moment to speak to the kid since he hasn't seen her in so long... and it's also a bit painful because by that point Ratchet has probably told her what happened (or maybe he kept it a secret from her, who knows!)
In a nutshell...
Lithia is furious and spark broken to see Pharma again.
Spark broken to see him like this.
Furious for what she heard the doctor did to his patients. All because of this war...
She isn't dumb though, she knows there are lives at stake and if she sets him off someone could be terminated.
Pharma on the other hand is very happy to see the young doctor alive and well.Maybe if she is still good at her work... he could always use an assistant...

gently shakes hand. you have good taste. hello from my keys to the kingdom tag. (i have a Lot Of Thoughts about the implication of Denizens and the idea that arthur is seeing the whole broken machinery of the universe at its absolute worst, and also the idea that taking on human shapes is not actually the ideal state for denizens and might have made them weirder and more bent out of shape than usual)
hey there!!! gently returns the handshake I'm so glad to find a kttk enjoyer in the wild. Kttk my beloved. I can blame that series for my actual real-life creative writing degree, it spawned the [dangerously fascinated author tone of voice] Lot Of Thoughts I Carry To This Day. the way it crafted its world and characters and themes and plot and ugh. Ugh!!!! Yeah.
Denizens are sooo.... the way arthur is literally dropped into the actual mechanisms of the universe - technically multiverse, if i remember correctly - and like, it slowly drip fed the reality of the situation through each book, experiences specifically the denizen issue personally, and there's just so much going on all the time. it's so - the way Denizens work is Crazy. that their reflective visages is maybe really bad for them is Nuts. That God forcing things to be made in her image is Bad For Them that being human isn't great but being anything else is in many ways worse but it could be equally fine if they weren't forced to mimic something they aren't, augh. Augh! And the way a person's physical form is reflective of their character but also stifles themself inside the box it creates for them... several characters undergo transformation in the series, several characters have transformation as the goal (waves at my girl Suzy TuBerculosis /joke. T. B. TB. yeah. Sorry.), several characters bemoan stagnancy several characters desire deep and profound change its sooooo but also change is scary change is horror. what happens to arthur to leaf to wednesday and really all the morrow days to the old one etc etc is a tragedy. its nuts! its crazy!! all the themes all at once!!! Suzy becoming a piper's child = tragedy in transformation loss in transformation losing yourself your life your whole world vs Suzy at the end; enforced change unwilling change change you can't control vs change you strive for change you architecht the puns write themselves yes but That's Also The Whole!!! Point!!!!!!!!!!! of the series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that and going the killing everything route was bad and maybe God should've thought her problems through a bit better. Alas.
(it's 2:24 am, so I may not be entirely coherent; suffice to say I adore this series and all it's twists and turns and its The Best at showing a world that is The Worst, I love it. I love how deeply fucked up it is and how everyone is trying so hard all the time but every single odd is stacked against them and there's like 30 people playing 5D chess while others are playing checkers and at least one person thinks its mahjong <3. Someone is playing Go. she did it a little too well and.... well... kaput. Kaput! Start over! Just like she wanted the whole time!!!!!! The plot is so intricate and so unavoidable and so if one thing had changed. it's gloriously crafted. I love this series so much)

Oi Lily! I heard you worked at a bar of some kind, no? If so, then what are some of your most popular items on the menu?
(Also, considering how common weight shenanigans tend to be, is the architecture of the place modified to accommodate for such possibilities?)
Tumblr media
a mystery.... (pretend i am an expert architecht and i engineered a bar layout for folks who weigh several tons and made a really cool drawing as a result)

I don't actually know how content labels work here honestly but like axe murder is happening please beware
Again, old art people who know me pls don't leave I'm still trying to make stuff
Anyway Finnish legends are sick or wtv
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Me when I get to draw blood splatters every 20 years (I feel like I look edgy as hell so I try to avoid it usually but it's fun)
So as I said this is based on a Finnish legend it's about the creation of the first church in Finland
This bishop shows up right and according to the legend he's totally chill but once he stays at a guy's house overnight the guy's wife lies and tells the guy the bishop didn't pay for his stay
So as any good husband would the guy goes outside, finds the bishop and chop chop away🤞
And apparently the bishop said the first church should be built where he died or smth like that (he died on ice though so like,, terrible idea but idk I'm not an architecht)
Anyway smth smth I wanted to try to draw sumn w perspective and a little more rowdy than usual and ended up with Tino Väinämöinen goes insane and kills a priest because why not
(No real priests have been harmed during or before the making of this image)
