Kyûsu (急須, small teapot) and chôshi (銚子, sake decanter​) collection, put together by Edo-lover Nadeshico Rin. They based this handy chart on designs seen in shunga (春画, erotic woodblock prints).

The captions list famous artists and the erotic compilations where those items could be found. I don’t care much about shunga so I won’t link them here but feel free to search - and ofc ready yourself for naughty NSFW ;)

Pinterest et ressources.

Temporairement, le lien (clic y a des trucs) de mon Pinterest sera disponible directement sur mon blog. Ce lien que je vous partage contient mon tableau avec les divers images, créations et ressources utilisées. Non, ce n’est PAS parfait. Pinterest fourmille de ressources republiées. J’attends d’avoir assez de temps pour faire des recherches inversées et pour, dès que possible, éditer mes derniers postes avec toutes les sources. je vais d’ailleurs tâcher de le faire à chaque nouveau poste à partir de maintenant. Je ne suis pas infaillible et j’ai tendance à poster vite après voir passé des heures sur chaque set. Ce qui n’est pas non plus une excuse, mais je ne suis pas parfaite. J’ai pas beaucoup de cuillères et j’ai donc mis un peu de temps à trouver le système pour trouver la vraie source des images. Maintenant que c’est fait, je vais m’atteler à corriger ça ! (Mais je vous laisse imaginer le temps que ça va prendre pour les avatars déjà publiés, j’attends donc d’avoir de vrais congés T.T) Étant moi-même « artiste », je tiens vraiment a sourcer mes créations quand bien même je ne fais aucun profit sur dessus.

Today's ressource is bdnaash, a website that tells you which brand supports israel so you can avoid them/boycott!

[蜻蝶譜] Seichoufu, an insect collection drawn in late Edo period by Hotta Masatami (then Lord of Miyagawa Domain in Omi Province). Hotta was then reknown for his painting skills and interest for natural sciences as shown by this entomological study, but also by his precise depiction of the moon made using a telescope.

You can consult here the digital file on the National Archives of Japan site (this document is a Meiji era reproduction of the original). This drawing collection presents species of dragonflies, moths, butterflies, grasshopper, crickets, fireflies, wasps/bees, and some other critters.

A large crack in the wood of this massive, ancient tree leads to a crumbling hollow. Inside strange spiny plants and mushrooms grow around and up the bark, creating a natural staircase, while the wet dirt and slippery rocks fall into a shady hole leading to the Underdark.
