Luken has recently aquired a baby raptor. He is unsure of the animal, but if it bites him then Luken will make some stew.

Yes! you sure can and I will give you full set for each of them, because I also can't choose either. Under readmore because it is a bit long.

First Asdis.

Asdis is lady of leisure first and foremost, but she puts in the work at the Triple Triad tables. Asdis can be found in the battlehall during tournament times. Asdis must dress the part as well, even though she is completely broke. One day those debt collector will catch her. The first and last real job (about 300 years ago) Asdis had was when she was a member of the Alchemist Guild. Currently, she is banned, so Asdis enters the guild with a mask, but those ears are hard to miss.

For Luken,

He is a grifter, so he has many shoes to wear/fill for this job. Is he going to the market to find a mark, or is he working from home aka his office at the Hideaway? If so he wearing clothes he calls his own style. However when running a con Luken tries to wear the current fashion for what citystate he is in.

Luka!

Luka is the Warrior of Light, but there no small jobs for this hero. Need Luka to help around town? Let them grab their lance, and they will be right there. Oh need a beasts or bandits to shooed off? Luka has an axe that can help with that. The realm needs saving (again)? You'll have Luka's sword gunblade for the battles to come.

Is Mykael's weight being listed in "km" while his height is a correct "cm" unit just a typo or do they all have that

The other characters' heights and weights are all listed in marks and stone, a thing Ken's been doing since the Archie days because not using standard metric or imperial units makes it More Fantasy.

Likewise, he uses a confusing fictional calendar system in the book. Lara-Su's date of birth is given as "428 LSD (Local Solar Date) / Rev 3266," and the fact that he's given Mobius years of uncertain length makes it basically impossible to accurately translate characters' birth dates into human ages. (If we just assume the revolutions are equal to Earth years, Geoffrey would be like 68??? He's supposed to be in his 40s in Earth years.) But then the establishing shots in the actual stories use a unit called "chronons"?? I have no idea if those are supposed to be years or if they're supposed to be timeline designations or something

Anyway, bitching about Ken's unit choices asdie: yeah, it's probably just one of several typos in the book. I don't think Ken made up a fictional unit of weight for the one character from Earth when his height is listed in cm, and I also don't think he weighs 87.08 kilometers

Ásdís's full name is Ásdís María Viðarsdóttir and comes from the Icelandic capital Reykjavík. The musician has been living in Berlin for several years. The city gives her a very special vibe and feels like “New York in the 80s” to her. The singer also loves the visibility of the queer community to which she belongs. Although Ásdís released her debut single, “Angel Eyes,” she has been part of the music scene for a long time. She has already worked with Daði Freyr and the Munich collective Glockenbach on the joint single “Dirty Dancing”.

In her debut, Ásdís proves that pop music is her home. It addresses the dilemma of a love triangle in which her rival is perceived as a “good girl”. With “Angel Eyes” Ásdís has bravely ventured into the foreground and makes us really want more solo music from her.

“You know you don't need to bring me this every morning.” Kaveh took a sip of the coffee blend, the flavor simmering on his tongue. Like always, it's what makes his day. 

“Do you not want me to?” You asked, and he blinked.

Kaveh was never the type to plan his routines. He laid serpentine on linear graphs, and made due with it. You weren't a planned experience for him either. You found a way in his schedule without him noticing– and then he did.

He noticed the hallway greetings that made his heart skip a beat and his pulse caprizant. He noticed when you spoke you'd thrum your fingers against your own palm. Most of all, he'd notice the mornings you'd find him in the library, a coffee in hand specifically for him.

It was an accident the first time– “They got my order wrong,” you said. So he accepted the coffee you didn't like to drink.

But then it happened again, you had a different excuse this time. It continued morning after morning, and after a while Kaveh didn't question it– why would he? It was a kind gesture, and he didn't want to delve into the hypotheticals that would make his mind rush with a longing for answers.

“No-! No, I don't mind it, of course I don't. Just…” 

But Kaveh could never stop himself from wondering if the cinnamon he tasted was  something you specifically requested for him. That you might've looked through a menu to choose something he might enjoy. It made him swell with fondness.

“Why?” 

You stilled, your index finger rubbed against your thumb. You hummed, “I always see you here early,” you met his gaze. “You seemed busy, I guess I just didn't want you to be too tired.”

Kaveh froze, the cup in his hand halfway to his mouth. How could you say that so casually–? Such a gentle admission of care felt so wrong in a place he's so used to. 

Or maybe he was already too invested into the ‘ifs’, you were being a kind friend. As always.

But that still didn't help the warmth that filled his heart with your words. He placed the coffee down, one hand splayed over his mouth as you just watched. 

And then finally, a response. 

“This one was really good, where did you get it?” Perfect, subtle, a great opening line. Kaveh moved his hand to prop his chin. “How about we go there together sometime?” Yep. That's it, he just hopes you don't see the nervousness in his eyes. 

He doesn't even know how he wanted his words to come across. Whatever your interpretation of him was in that moment– he just hoped you'd say yes.

At least, if you answered the first question he'd still have a reminder of you over spring break.

Pros to getting into writing habits, especially connected to a location or event: makes it easier to write, have set that time asdie to write, get used to writing then, feel confident writing and less distracted.

Cons: uh oh i'm no longer in that place and my habits are utterly useless and i haven't written in over a week

Luka drinks, and has no handle on how they act afterwards. You had them a drink and they become your problem. Luka believes they do though, becuase they would that stuff anyways.

Asdis will one day drown in bath because she decided to have one while drinking a whole bottle or two of wine.

Luken, has no handle because he is a functioning alcoholic.
