My ranking; a light-to-moderate proceed with caution.

My reasons

Apart from one major nitpick, this organization seems to do everything right. It is founded by an autistic person and there are several autistic people on the board, some of them young (I believe the youngest was 19) and some older (I think he looked 60-70,) and everyone else, apart from the financial advisors, seems to have a long history in autism. Short of paying a couple hundred dollars to read books they've published, my research doesn't lead me to conclude the allistic members should cause concern. They actively criticize ABA and warn parents away from any "treatments" (and yes, they put "treatments" in quotation marks exactly like I do) that seek to make someone appear less autistic. All articles I viewed are written in a way that suggests they were written by autistic people, though I am unable to verify if the authors are actually autistic. I can find no red flags in their practices, research, or hiring

This is my only worry, but this organization links multiple worrying sources in their directory and follows multiple worrying sources on their social medias- one of these being NAS, which I also did a post about. However, I should stress that this is my only issue. However, they follow just as many, if not more, positive sources.

My overall belief is that this is a good one. I simply advise caution because I'm not sure what to make of the organizations they link and how or if that affects their policies.

My son is autistic, and "As I Am" has greatly helped us over the years, so this cause is important to me.
