Imagine if Danny ends up marrying Sam in the DPxAddams AU.

Honestly, I’m not really a Sam x Danny shipper. Mostly cause I didn’t really grow up watching the show (I still haven’t actually watched it even though I somehow got sucked into the fandom) so I don’t really ship any of the characters in the DP. I’m a big fan of platonic love/affection and love the idea of Sam, Danny and Tucker just being absolute ride or dies for one another but having it be completely platonic. I feel like romantic love tends to overshadow every other kind of love like; familial love, love between friends etc. 

Plus having a romantic couple in a trio always leaves someone left out which always ends up being a bit cliche and sad.

But I guess if Danny and Sam were to get married, then Sam would be over the moon about finally being officially a part of the Addams family (even though Sam and Tucker had already been long since accepted considering the three of them are a non-negotiable packaged deal).

Before they got married Sam always felt weird visiting the Addamses without Danny. She would drop hints that Danny should check up on his relatives in the hopes that he would let her tag along as well. It didn’t take long for Danny to figure out what she was doing and It kinda got on his nerves a little when she’d bring it up too often, mostly cause it would mean that he’d have to leave Amity unprotected while he was away and it made his Obsession feel uneasy. But he’d give in half the time cause he thoroughly enjoyed visiting the Addamses. Their home always made him feel relaxed and safe and he enjoys having people he could trust to openly talk about his ghostly side and asks questions. That and he always felt a little bad when he’d snap at Sam or turn down her hints when he knew how often she fought with her parents and that the Addamses were kind, accepting people. He knew how much she wished her parents would accept her and he always felt a little guilty.  

Honestly I don’t think much would change in how the Addamses would treat Sam. The biggest change would be that Sam would just be a lot more comfortable coming and going without Danny in tow. She’d love the family reunions (even though Danny had dragged her and Tucker along many times before) and would definitely bring her grandmother. 

Her parents hadn’t been happy that she married the Fenton boy and her mother had almost fainted at the very first sight of the Addamses. Her parents refused to step a single foot in their direction and said that it wasn’t as though they needed to get to know each other since they were only distantly related to Danny.  

I don’t actually know much about Jewish traditions and celebrations so I'm not going to elaborate too much on that aspect without doing some proper research - but the Addamses would be very accepting of Sam and her beliefs and would definitely be respectful and take part in her celebrations if she asked them.

hi renn :) truly, thank you so much for the love on my bartylily fic. it means the world to me! as for the hcs, here are a few of mine:

— in school they didn’t really get along all that well because barty never really tried when it came to his grades, but lily worked double time to make sure she succeeded. overall, there was just a lot of jealousy she experienced because barty could do whatever the fuck he wanted and still pass with top marks. slight bit of academic rivalry even though barty couldn’t care any less about whether or not he passes.

— as seen in cherry bomb! i am convinced barty was the first person that introduced her to smoking and it played out exactly that way: sitting in his lap and both of them shotgunning the rest of the joint. dare i say, in the later days of their relationship, sometimes it’s lily taking the hit first and passing it to barty. it’s not much of a secret, but barty loves it.

— surprisingly very tactile people. they’re Those people. always holding hands, or barty has an arm around lily’s waist, or they’re kissing, or lily is sitting in his lap (yet again) etc and everyone just has to get used to it because barty is Possessive, but lily loves it because she’s finally seen as the person she wants to be. barty just gets it.

— barty has a lipstick print tattoo on his neck and it’s lily’s lips. he gets it in red ink.

— lily lets barty give her a stick and poke tattoo and somehow she winds up with a little heart with a “B” in the middle of it just above her hipbone. she pretends to hate it, but really, she loves it and even makes a point to show it off whenever she can. she’ll purposefully wear shirts that ride up just enough to let it poke out.

yes bring water, but also figure out how you can bring that water, some places only let you bring in sealed, never opened, bottles (cause alcohol is a large part of event revenue)

CASH, most sellers have got a square card reader or paypal or something, but those work at the whims of cell service, and cell service tends to suck in parks

also with cash depending on the seller they might just wave the tax. things are priced to even dollars most of the time

the crafts people (leather, blacksmiths, silversmiths, glassblowers) are where you really want to "focus" your money, not because there's anything wrong with the clothing stalls, it's just that it's harder to get those items online, and you're helping a small business

also some of the clothing sellers just buy in bulk from a place like amazon and clip off the tag, "wevez" is where i get my skirts, and the price markup can be anywhere from 2 to 3 times what you'd pay if you bought from the seller directly

the end of the last day of the weekend you can get food for cheaper, so if you're staying until close and don't want to find a fast food joint, get a turkey leg

bed bugs, (SPRAYS DO NOT WORK ON THESE MOTHER FUCKERS) the horrible truth of the matter is, it is a valid concern, moreso since COVID. so if you do buy anything, im talking books, tunics, hair wraps, corsets, trousers, a kilt. anything a bed bug could be hanging out in, you put that in a seperate plastic bag, seal it, and stick it in the freezer when you get home. then you beat out the thing a few hours later.

this doesn't kill them, but it does make them hibernate, which means you can shake them out then kill them or if youre feeling vindictive, pop them in the oven, a minimum of 120F for 90 mins gets all bugs and possible eggs. you could also put the things in your dryer on high for the longest setting, but i personally prefer the oven (and not just because i don't have a drier)

business cards! i personally collect business cards for convience and maybe one day i'll go back to pursuing graphic design, but having a designated pocket for business cards or pamphlets cause you may be grabbing a lot of them

the vibes: Its a bunch of weird nerds getting dressed up to play pretend and get drunk in the park. It can get weird, and it can get raunchy (not horny, just crass) i have witnessed several different parents huff off with their kid cause a performer made a low brow joke that was obvious enough that the kid knew smth dirty was said, MOST of the people are chill with boundries, but some never got out of that phase of being a dick cause they think it's funny

speaking of phases, renn faires are still the only place i have ever been where you've got the flagrantly queer and menanist douchebags bumping shoulders. like side eyes are made im sure, but you can walk down a path, past somebody in the loudest, most obviously gay garb you have seen outside of a drag show, then a few feet behind them is somebody else with a trump denim vest

also, back to the rauchy bit, there will likely be people there who are cool, but use outdated/offensive lingo. like I got called a fairy by a guy waiting in line for a kebob, he did try and backpedel, but im fine with being called that and his girlfriend (who obviously dragged him there) was dressed up like a fairy, so jokes were had and expensive kebab's purchased (idk what they used to season those things but they were so fkin good for just being some meat on a stick)

if you do a craft (knitting/crochet) check if you can bring your supplies in because some places don't let guest bring in knitting needles (they are often 11 in long pointy sticks so fair enough)

ASK QUESTIONS not just at the small semi educational areas they sometimes have, but also the people selling things, i love hearing people talk about their crafts (also renn faire drama is real and it is wild, and it's much more exciting because it's effect on you is almost null)

your story about the knights at medieval times reminds me of the first time my friends and i went to a "real" renaissance faire (before that, we had all just been to really small local ones, and this was a big one that people traveled from far away just to go to) and they had a joust, and we got WAY too into rooting for our knight, just screaming things like CUT OFF HIS HEAD and at one point, the other knight got unhorsed and our knight was charging towards him on her horse (only to stop at the last minute) and we were just screaming TRAMPLE HIM!!!!!!

Literally, rooting for a knight with a sword in a sandpit just brings out all the feral energy. Catharsis.

27. do you feel like your outside appearance is a fair representation of the “real you”?

I think mostly yes! overall i've become more comfortable in my own features which is nice, and i'm trying to be more aware of my fashion, what clothes i'm drawn to and why. I'm a strong believer that you should never leave the house in clothes you don't feel confident or comfortable in, so i try and live by that! my latest haircut has made me feel a lot more "me" as well. i think it really suits me, and it makes me feel less weighed down! i think my hair is looks lovely when its long as well, but i find it bothersome to maintain, and i also feel like a lot of the time, especially when i was a teenager, i would use it to sort of hide behind. but this length frames my face without hiding it and it makes me feel happy :)

Pandora!! I think her character is sooo interesting and I have been thinking about writing some Pandalily!! It's for something I cant talk about publicly though so if you'd like to dm me about it please do!!

🍈 Who is your blorbo and what are some of your fav headcanons/ideas about them that repeatedly show up in your fics? (free pass to rant about them)

So, full honesty i did have to google what a blorbo is, but I'd say I have two that I love. James Potter and Barty Crouch Jr. Starting with James, I hc him as bipolar. Could you say I am projecting my bipolar onto him? Probably, but I think it fits him very well. I write him as someone who works very hard to hold it together out of the fear of burdening people around him. I think he is type 1 bipolar with rapid cycling. This would mean his mania is often more pronounced than his depression. Which brings me to Barty.

Barty Crouch Jr is also bipolar, and I believe that he feels 'crazy' and emphasizes it as a defense mechanism. He notices a pattern within James and they end up becoming unwilling friends. They banter back and forth and overall don't entirely get along, but when the other needs someone in a bad moment, you better believe they are there.
