1. i love the conflicting feelings in this ending. like,, is it awesome that we get to be together seemingly forever and have no worries or troubles and just camp out in the middle of nowhere in a magic alternate universe thing? hell yeah that sounds like so much fun

but also. we’re stuck here. forever. alone. everyone we knew and loved is gone and we don’t even know it because we can’t remember any of them or anything at all of our lives before getting here

as far as we know, it’s always been like this.

Niasra (Niamh/Asra) in 5 minutes

Niamh likes to borrow Asra's scarves and gilets, sometimes a shirt she leaves half-open on purpose because she knows he likes what he sees! Asra borrows some of her accessories and tunics from time to time.

Asra was so anxious to cause another crisis that he swore to not confess his feelings for Niamh, especially after the events in the Prologue. He was also worried Niamh was falling for him primarily by default or due to the lack of options, since she didn't get to make many friends during the 3 years after her resurrection. Niamh sometimes questioned her feelings for Asra, wondering if she was really in love with or deeply attached to him. But then, she realised she really loved the person Asra was and cherished the moments they shared because she loved him and not just because he had been her "master". So she decided "I have to clarify my intentions and feelings to him" and confessed first.

Asra knows how to cook and is quite good at it, but he likes to indulge in Niamh's great cooking <3 While she cooks most of the time, the two like to prepare dinner together, especially when they have guests.

Niamh was never fond of bugs, and due to her past trauma with the Plague beetles deeply set in her, she might freak out depending on its size/type. She might squash it *while* screaming or chase it with a broom (like Sophie in "Howl's moving Castle").

Asra catches the bug to let it out or feed ut to Faust - if the latter doesn't catch it first.

Niamh is the housekeeper of the two! That's why Asra is the one who goes to buy groceries, deals with some customers and does some other tasks in the shop. He doesn't want her to overwork herself or live off her.

Asra can still be overprotective of Niamh, but he tries his best not to smother her. Niamh can be protective, but since she dislikes when people are too protective of her or make her feel like she's fragile or can't handle herself, she refrains from overdoing it.

Asra is the most jealous of the two. A tiny part of him fears Niamh would find someone who "would never let her down" and leave him. Niamh refused to watch the memory of Asra and Julian because she thought it was none of her business, but she still felt a pang of jealousy and considered it inappropriate. She sometimes wondered (worried) whether Asra had someone he met during his journeys in the past.

Asra and Niamh have their disagreements, but they don't argue or fight often. When it happens, it can be because one of them (or both) was really tired/frustrated and somehow snapped at the other or took it out on them; like Niamh snapping at Asra because he's messy or Asra taking a jab at Niamh about her collecting/recycling habits. The subjects that are still quite sensitive are Lucio (for a while), Asra leaving or keeping (too many) secrets from her, Niamh's overly idealistic views (wanting to give a chance a bit too quickly, especially compared to her past self) and touchiness. Asra is usually the first to apologize because he's so afraid to repeat the same mistake and to come back too late that he sometimes apologized when he wasn't in the wrong. Niamh felt awful when it happened and made amends for it.

They are both popular for different reasons. Asra was already quite known and became especially famous after the Plague. Niamh was well-liked in the past, her resurrection made people a bit wary/freaked out at first; but she remained discreet. She became quite popular during the Trial, especially when she revealed she used to be Chimerae.

Niamh has a bit of separation anxiety, due to the faint memory of Asra leaving during the Plague and his travels away from the shop.

Asra is more likely to take the shot for Niamh, even if he knows she would hate it. Niamh has her mind set on "we must live together", but she would take a hit for him too.

Just finished Asra’s book XI, the fighting is always fun to read, I just wished the apprentice could interact more with it, like in other routs. Anyway, it’s always cute being able to take care of Asra, they and those sneaky kisses of theirs.

Thanks for the ask! :D Here I go!

I.) How did your MC and their LI first meet?

Niamh and Asra had 3 short encounters before they really met each other.

First, they crossed paths at the Palace. Niamh had been summoned by Lucio for a mission and she ran into Asra, who was trying to cause some mischief. She smiled and pretended not to see him on her way out, to his relief.

Second, Asra saw a masked person known as "Chimaera" running from some guards, they ran near the Docks and hid near what used to be his home. Asra saw Niamh changing her clothes and hiding her mask, trying to get away. He helped her by creating a diversion with his magic, allowing her to flee. Niamh saw a glimpse of him before she did.

Third, Niamh noticed Asra's little "shop" and recognized him. So to thank him, she pretended to offer some promotions and gifted him an enchanted mug, with a small jewel hidden inside.

In the days following this last encounter, Niamh saw several signs that pointed to an important meeting, linked to (romantic) love. She went to watch the Prakran Princess' arrival, and then she noticed the last sign pointing to Asra, who was standing near her. When the crowd got agitated, Niamh took his hand, pulling him out of it and she invited him into the shop.

II.) What was your MC’s first impression of their LI? What about their LI’s first impression of them? Was it accurate or did them getting to know one another change how they saw each other?

In summary: the general impression they got was quite accurate, but getting to know each other is what got them to fall in love and see the other in a better like, not just as a rather vague idea.

Asra striked Niamh as someone who doesn't stay in the same place for long, unless something or someone important served as an anchor. - which is why she wanted to make an impression quickly, to seize her chance! She thought he was sweet; at first, she had an inner joke in which she compared him to a cute sheep (due to his fluffy white hair), but then she realized he was closer to a wild fox.

Asra pinned Niamh as a kind-hearted and warm woman, a bit stay-at-home though, despite her masked getaway/adventures. He could see her inner strength and powers and thought she was a peaceful strength, and that she could be "an iron fist in a velvet glove". Then Asra realized she was more adventurous and traveler than he thought, among other things.

VII.) What is your MC’s favoured element to cast with?

Before her death: Earth. After her resurrection: Fire (irony or not irony?).

Earth as in "the nourrishing earth" and a stable force, supportive.

Fire, inspired by the cycle of a Phoenix and because it's an element that is linked to change.

I.) How did your MC and their LI first meet?

With his phobia of corpses, Réamann never went to watch the games or executions in the Colyseum, thus he only had heard of "the Scourge", even without Muriel's pact, he would never have recognized or guessed Muriel had been that person.

Muriel had seen Réamann in the streets and the forest several times, more likely heard him singing and playing his Crwth before the two really meet. He knew

It happened shortly after Réadiscovered Niamh's resurrection. He was upset, feeling betrayed by Asra who had "hidden her" for months, so he ran to his spot into the forest to cry his heart out in peace and ran into Muriel on the way. At first, Muriel wanted to ignore him but quickly felt like a heartless monster for doing so. Muriel silently stood near him as Réamann cried, unsure of what to do or say, he guarded him. However, when he heard Réa cursing Asra under his breath, he couldn't help asking questions and defending his friend.

The two meet several times after that, both by accident and because Muriel wanted to see Réa again, even if the latter didn't remember him completely before he offered him some myrrh.

II.) What was your MC’s first impression of their LI? What about their LI’s first impression of them? Was it accurate or did them getting to know one another change how they saw each other?

Réamann had several "first impression" because of the spell! XD As for the very first, it was of a man who was as lost, confused and angry as he was at the time. After that, he often had the thought "mysterious big man who is quite handsome" impression. The spell made him forget most of their encounters, but since Réamann's magic is strongly bounded to illusions and thanks to one of his special skill, he never really forgot about him, but Muriel seemed like a fleeting, reoccuring dream. He concluded that maybe the man of his dream was either a fantasy or it might be his future lover.

Muriel thought Réamann was a fragile young man at first, a bit too naive, optimistic and too much of a dreamer for his own good. But as he got to know him, he realized Réa was not a fragile flower and was way more clever than most people gave him credit for.

VII.) What is your MC’s favoured element to cast with?

Earth and Wood. Réamann has a very good affinity with crystals in general too, since they are part of the Earth element.

I.) How did your MC and their LI first meet?

Erwin met Lucio during a mission when he was a young mercenary, on his way to Vesuvia with his (adoptive) family. The two were working on their respective mission when their paths crossed; they both believed the other was trying to jeopardize their mission, which lead to an epic duel. They found themselves a bit dumb when they realized that they were no rivals/ennemies!

Things got even more awkward when Erwin was invited into Lucio's group (still Montag back then). Lucio kept telling everyone that he rallied Erwin to his side during their duel for years - "My honour is safe like that!". Erwin never bothered to tell his version to anyone else outside of his closed relatives and friends. However, he was impressed by Lucio's skills in fight and thought he found his match and a good rival in him.

II.) What was your MC’s first impression of their LI? What about their LI’s first impression of them? Was it accurate or did them getting to know one another change how they saw each other?

"He's a very good warrior, too bad that he's also big-mouthed, petulant jerk. He could be a great leader otherwise." Erwin, yeah 0XY, Month A, Day B.

What Erwin kept for himself was how attractive he found Lucio, and not just as in physical/sexual attraction. As they spent time together, Erwin saw more of Lucio/Montag, admiration and fellowship turned into friendship, then into love on Erwin's side.

Lucio begrudgingly thought that Erwin was a great fighter and addition to his mercenary group. For a while, he was a bit wary of him, afraid the latter might try and take his place. When he realized Erwin was not the ambitious type, the two could get closer. He found a confidant in Erwin and hoped for a "friend with benefits" after seeing the latter half-naked/naked.

VII.) What is your MC’s favoured element to cast with?

Erwin is not a magician, but he is close to the Metal and Fire elements. He has some affinities with Water due to his origins and childhood though.

Main 6 - Cuddle Headcanons

Cuddling positions are practically never ending with Asra. They love to just be close to you and doesn’t have much of a preference.

However, there are some cuddle positions that are preferred after a long day of existing.

One of them is him laying on your chest. Usually this is your way of helping them unwind, especially when you massage his scalp and play with his hair.

Other than that, just hearing your heartbeat and feeling the rise and fall of your chest comforts them, even after all that’s happened.

Then there’s the time when he just wants to show you that he loves you.

This usually prompts them to start kissing you all over your face and you end up falling into his arms, all bundled up by the warm blankets.

Honestly overall, they just love to cuddle in bed with you and whatever position you two end up laying in

Even if it isn’t always the same position you wake up in

Also bonus points if you end up letting Faust cuddle up with you two, she does get cold sometimes yknow

Which she most likely always does end up doing

In Nadia’s route, it’s noted that there is only once bed in the shop so it’s likely Asra and you share it even when you’re not cuddling

So most times he’d fall asleep from exhaustion near you, with faust slithering on him

Probably hugs you around your waist too

And if you try to strike a “sexy” pose he’ll laugh and play along

Ofc he’s not actually the worst Lucio still exists but the way he cuddles at times is a hit or miss

Especially since most times he ends up sprawling his limbs out wherever they can, usually ending up on top of you unless you spoon him.

When it’s actually enjoyable to cuddle with him, most times he enjoys being spooned or mutual holding.

We all know how self deprecating he is so might as well show him how well he can be loved, even if you’re shorter or smaller, that’s no excuse

Just don’t mind his long limbs

Regardless of how you choose to hold him, he’ll always hold onto you back. Now on the other end of the spectrum where it’s damn near torture-

He has no regard for you- in his sleep at least

Like bro is genuinely squishing you with his limbs, and you can’t even move them because you’re trapped 💔

He probably unknowingly hogs the blanket too since he’s slipped off the bed more times than he’d like to admit and has taken the blanket with him.

He has all his weight on it, making damn near impossible to get the blanket from under him, leaving you shivering and timbering in the cold

If you’d prefer to be the one held then he’d be more than happy to 😭 just be prepared for him to be pretty flustered by being the one “in charge”

He does apologize to you when he wakes up if he’s been squishing you, etc etc though

Mother

She definitely one of the LI that are on the podium of best cuddlers. she holds you so warm and tight it’s honestly the best.

She is not the type to be all that physically affectionate, which is honestly a bummer because her hugs and cuddles are the best ever.

Often times at the end of an exhausting day as countess, she loves to spoil you and hold you in her arms.

She’s more than happy to massage your scalp or shoulders, even feeding you some fruit would be sufficient

Sleep wise, she’s as elegant as she is when she’s awake. Her hair is somehow perfect (must be the rose colored lenses talking-) and she’s not a blanket hogger of any kind

She’s really considerate even in her sleep and she’ll randomly wake up in the middle of the night and look for you

If you’re not covered by the blanket, she’ll tuck you in and go back to bed.

Either that or she’ll also hold you in her arms depending on if she believes that you want your space.

Now, if you’re more a sprawler, always falling off the bed, or just not that pretty of a sleeper she find it super endearing

She’ll literally get up from her cozy place on the bed to help you back up. Even going as far as carrying you if that’s what would be more comfortable.

Now, we all know Nadia prefers to be the one “in charge” she prefers to pamper and that’s alright.

But, if you prefer to also show her your affection that same way she’ll be more than happy to oblige- although it’ll be done with a blush.

When cuddling Muriel is super gentle and is hyper aware because of his larger stature, making him scared at the possibility of hurting you.

Which, you have to reassure him would never happen because you’d be happy to be crushed by him

With your constant reassurance and how often you tend to flop yourself on top of him, he eventually just gets used to it.

Cuddle wise, he’s usually big spoon for obvious reasons, he’ll hold you against his chest too along with Inanna being sandwiched by you both.

Again, you tend to be the one laying on him and when he chooses to sleep on his back, you’re laying on his chest and just absorbing his warmth.

I think it’d be obvious, but Muriel would also enjoy being held aswell. When you confront him with the idea he’s flustered because not only has he never considered it but he’s so touch starved.

If you have him lay his head on your chest, being held in your arms or even go as far as have him be little spoon, well his blush is out of this world.

If anything, he’s just happy that you’d want him to feel loved, as if you being around him isn’t enough

It isn’t

He’s basically beet red and he just accepts the affection ,laying there with you because again, he loves it.

Whenever/ if he tries to argue and say that he’s too big or whatever just say that you want him 🔛🔝 of you and just watch him squirm and get so flustered that he forgets

He ends up inevitably bringing it up again, so just cuddle the man

Sleep wise, Muriel is also really considerate. He tries not to take as much space and if you end up subconsciously tugging a blanket that he’s on, he’ll immediately move to give it to you.

Treat him well.

Yes, yes, yes, just yes

She’s the absolute best person to cuddle with, she’s such a cuddle bug and honestly neither of you guys have a preference most times and so it ends in just cuddling however.

Most times it’s either of you on the others chest. Mostly it’s Portia that enjoys having you rest on her and she enjoys playing with your hair or just massaging your scalp.

She’s more than happy to be the big spoon if that’s what you prefer, maybe she’d even tease you for being so “bold” as to ask.

Ironic considering that the instant that you insist on coddling her she’s flushed from head to toe.

Literally almost literally every time you two cuddle she’ll always put a leg over you.

Just a quirk of hers that you’ve noticed and a definite plus is how warm she is which causes you to cling to her.

Which definitely warrants some teasing for clinging onto her like some koala. She finds it endearing though and is definitely worth is since she ends up peppering kisses all over your face

Is it really cuddling with Portia if you exclude Pepi? No, no it’s not

Pepi is so cute!! It’s a well known fact and she’ll always end up crawling and making her way through the bundle of blankets to rest her little self in between you and Portia.

Sleep wise, Portia is also a hit or miss 😭

She’ll either cling to you in her sleep while also being considerate so it’s not bothersome

Or she’ll sleep lazily and drool a bit, causing her to be a bit embarrassed once she finally wakes up.

The worst motherfucker to cuddle with, EVER (up to interpretation whether it’s said with love)

Like he sleeps in either of two ways and neither of them are necessarily the best.

The first way is him being all lovey dovey and cuddly with you while the second one makes you wish death (again) upon him.

The first one is admittedly really nice. He’s in your arms and just being the needy, clingy bastard we all know Lucio to be.

It’s not so nice because of how this doesn’t change even during the summer time. You’ll definitely end up getting a heatstroke because of him clinging onto you one day.

That’s just the first way though.

The second way is him being sprawled out all over you without a care in the world.

His limbs are so freaking heavy too, it’s not like you could escape even if you desperately wanted to.

Worst part? He steals the fucking blanket all the time

Literally refuses to let go of his weirdly tight grip on the blanket in his sleep, leaving you shivering and timbering all night.

And then he has the audacity of getting mad at you for pushing him off the bed.

"Asra . . ?" Her whisper catches his attention right away.

Exhaling with a low whistle, Asra gently lets the book that he had been preoccupied with fall to her back with a dull thud. His hazy lavender eyes, which glitter in the warm glow of the sunset, are now fixated on Estrella's sweet face that rests peacefully ontop of his chest. With his arms laid wrapped snuggly around her waist, he gives her an encouraging smile. Urging her to continue. She's hesitant. But his smile is enough to shoo away all her doubts.

Sighing, she leans forward and pulls herself closer to him. Not stopping until her head lays right under his chin. His hand immediately tangling itself in her messy hair. Gently scratching her scalp while hers falls to his bicep. If his self-control wasn't so strong, he'd almost sigh wishfully at the feeling of her freshly painted nails that would sometimes absentmindedly curl ever so slightly against his arm. A pleasant scratching sensation that almost makes his imagination go wild. Almost.

"You know . . . Actually, I might be overthinking this but . . . Have you noticed how everyone gawks at us whenever we go out together?" The hand petting her head freezes up. Rigid as if turned to stone. His smile falters immediately. Do they know what happened? His mind begins to jump at all sorts of conclusions. He's never stayed anywhere long enough to face a situation like this . . . He's conflicted. Subconsciously he pulls her closer than before if that's even possible. A million thoughts began to run through his head. At a speed he didn't even know was possible. Lips part to explain, to try and make an excuse, but he even craft a single coherent thought. Luckily, she beats him to it.

"Maybeee it's a sign that you're not the fashionista you think you are? Might wanna get a new wardrobe soon mister magician man." Her lips twist up as she looks up at him. Her teasing tone cut through all of his inner ramblings like a steel cold knife. He’s back here again. With her and her horrible jests that instantly put him at ease.

Her cheeky impish smile grows as she giggles at him rolling his eyes at her. "Me?" He raises his brow at her while she chuckles. "Yes you," she replies while poking his nose. He scrunches it up playfully with a slight grin before darting forward to nip at her index finger making her yelp and pull away her hand away. He grins as she narrows her eyes at his. Bright vermillion ones stare into his equally stubborn orchid coloured one. "So says the one that keeps stealing all my shirts," he teases, and she huffs. "So says the one who keeps swaddling me in his scarves and throwing his gigantic coat at me." He laughs again before pulling her closer. burying his head in the crook of her neck. "It's not gigantic, you're just tiny"

"Am not . . ." "Are too~" ". . . " " . . . infact i've never seen anyone as tiny as yo-" "Shut up Asra."

I spent like three days drawing my apprentice in the Arcana style and still I’m not 100% sold, but I’ve given enough of my blood for this, so I’m gonna go back to my comfort sketchy style till I recover. Here is also Musa full body, as you can see shoes are not a thing in this house, and Musa beside Asra to compare heights (yes, they’re huggable size)

Literally 00:16 in my country and I’m here thinking about these gays
