Your Worst Enemy Cannot Harm You As Much As Your Own Unguarded Thoughts

While still an early asset-class, there is far too much evidence that the crypto space will be around for a very long time. Whether you believe it or not doesn’t matter, as the facts dictate that the major financial players have already hedged their bets, and did so after us (the speculative, real-world, unaccredited investor). Could it be that we knew better, and figured out early on that we had an opportunity to front-run the traditional rules through this new means of value without the need for aging-procedures? The obvious answer is yes, and ever since the ‘old-man-that’s-over-the-hill’ crowd began catching on that there was more than just a few shekels being traded, they have been trying multiple ways of trapping the minds of the ‘untrained’ with their bogus mentality. Don’t let them get away with it, and fool you too. We Are Taking The Blame For Being Opportunistic Before the advent of cryptocurrency, the rules dictated that to be an investor, you had to come from a long line of wealthy industrialists or sired from Kings and Queens so as to be placed in the class of ‘accredited’ investor. Looking at the word itself, accredited is defined as “officially recognized as meeting essential requirements“, which In the traditional field of investing, means taking tests to ‘qualify’ to be in the club, or instead, having a massive amount of money as proof. Anything short of this means that you are nothing more than an amateur, unworthy of the title. But it goes both ways... this definition can also refer to the crypto investor, of which the standard is measured by (i) adaptability, (ii) faith, and (iii) being the sole custodian of your own value. In this vein, the old version of the accredited investor need not apply because in this bold, new world, the only qualification needed is guts, patience and lots of research... all without the need for outdated ‘suitability tests’ or being a member of the ‘lucky bloodline club’, which of course as it should be. The moment you acquired your first crypto asset, be it BTC, XRP or any of the thousands of tokens available, you voted the establishment out of business, and yourself into business, but be certain that they have taken notice (albeit in a less-than-positive way). For a millennia, they have controlled every conceivable means of diverting the actions of the downtrodden to follow their rules, and as such are aware of the very real power that you can wield... by choice. While the chosen .01% have a penchant for world domination, our goal is simply freedom and a better life, but to be worthy of attaining this goal, we must think, and act different... especially when it comes to money & investing... everyone’s most hated topic. It has been said that the best revenge is living well, and while money alone doesn’t buy happiness, getting control of it without being a slave to the daily grind would likely provide less, not more issues, and should be a worthwhile goal to pursue.  A Strange Hobby = True North The path you are travelling by becoming a student of the new economy, be it a new venture or perhaps many years on, will at this juncture continue to be met with challenge after challenge, always with your integrity and sanity called into question. Just assume it’s going to happen this way as if you’re prepared for it, you need not be surprised when folks start proclaiming that you’re off your nut, because in reality you are. Just smile and say that you agree but at least you’re fastened to the right bolt.

If you instead dwell on the negativity and believe what the un-initiated are telling you, then just consider that (i) they don’t know any better and are speaking out of ignorance and (ii) they have not done the research that you have and as such don’t have the same means of measurement... a fact that you should consider to be a tremendous asset. It’s kind of like being the first to see a blockbuster movie like Titanic or Star Wars and being enthusiastic by talking about it with your friends. Remember, they didn’t have the experience you did and while you can only express in words what you witnessed in ‘technicolor’, not all of them may be interested... at least not now, but they might later on if you stay strong as everyone is looking for a strong leader, but it doesn’t happen without going through the muck and earning your stripes. In fact, some might even be critical or perhaps even jealous by being ‘early’, and welcome you by raining on your parade, which of course was not your intention, as you were just excited and wanted to share the good news. If you take the low road, and allow them to kill your enthusiasm, like the crab syndrome, you will be dragged down and it won’t be long until your spark will be distinguished, and if this happens, it’s only because you didn’t believe strongly about what you had a hold of. This doesn’t mean you should blame them if you didn’t stick it out, but keep in mind it was you that put the time in and decided to not follow the 'safe’ path and as such should not change your outlook. Just remember that choosing to be in the company of others who have gone against the grain is never an easy path, because when you step outside of the comfort zone, it invokes a sense of tension from others, no different than what Edison, Ford, or Tesla went through. Be it crypto or anything else you believe that is truth and good and a positive for you and your family, your harshest critics will be the establishment and perhaps those who are close to you... just don’t take it personal, and be of good courage. While your relatives and friends may speak out of ignorance, that’s fair play, and to which should be takin in stride, but the incumbent financiers are another ball game altogether, and to where the biggest flack-jacket must be adorned. The establishment will continue to fight, and none more so than the regulators which are going after everyone and everything claiming eminent domain, but time will decide this argument once and for all... and it won’t be long until the big shots who were telling us for years to get out of crypto will say to now follow them as everything is fine now, which signals the end of the opportunity. Just keep firmly in your mind that if they keep scaring us all and proclaiming the dangers and pitfalls of crypto, consider the reason why... it’s because if they keep at it, then the majority of the folks will believe them while their pot grows larger because they wouldn’t keep yammering about something unless there was a reason to do so. This should be enough to convince you of the power of this new asset class, who’s involved and the massive shift that cryptocurrency has played in just the last few years, and if you see evidence of your digital assets being on the wrong side of history, you can always back out when enough evidence in presented. So, let the elitists play their game... we’ll just keep accumulating the currency we know is real, and is backed by truth (math) and not fiction (thin air) as we realize that there is true value in finite amounts as opposed to endless printing. Remember that your stake in this new form of money is grounded in reality and freedom as it is available to anyone (without accreditation), from anywhere and at anytime (not M-F / 9-5). When you know what you own, and the power you hold, they can't laugh at you any longer. It’s just a matter of if you believe it now (when all of the noise is pervasive) or after, when they tell us to believe.

Despite not having his family's prized quirk, he's resolved to prove that he can still become a hero and uphold their legacy. He makes a point to be as honest and straightforward as possible to make up for his more sinister quirk.

He's a friendly and manly guy! His sentient quirk, not so much. The shadow version of himself that emerges from his body in the darkness is a terrifying quirk, but if anyone can wrangle it, he can!

Koji Koda - Earphone Jack

He's a quiet gentle guy with a tough rocky exterior. He hears everything though, with his sound-boosting quirk. And he can get Real loud when he wants to be.

Rikido Sato - One For All

He grew up quirkless, and with no great ambition other than to be kind. He gave his food to a skeletal man he met on the beach one day. They became friends, and eventually, the man revealed he was truly All Might, the number one hero. He was chosen as his successor, and now he had a motivation, to do as much good as possible by becoming the next symbol of peace. Through kindness, anything is possible.

Mezo Shoji - Invisibility

He always wears a mask. Not that it covers anything up. He's tall, buff, and completely invisible.

Kyoka Jiro - Anivoice

She's a punk-rock music lover. Unfortunately, animals can understand her, and most of the time they don't agree with her style. If you need an angry swarm of any creature that might be nearby, she's your hero.

Hanta Sero - Half Cold Half Hot

He has one of the world's most powerful quirks by total luck. Too bad he just wants to chill out and have fun.

Fumikage Tokoyami - Hardening

He has an unrelated mutation giving him feathers and a beak. His quirk allows him to turn those features to steel by hardening them to an incredibly sturdy substance.

Shoto Todoroki - Tape

The pro hero Endeavor was trying to create the perfect successor. And sometimes, a kid with a perfect split of white and red hair develops a totally unique quirk through a strange mutation. He can create tape. And shoot it from his elbows.

Toru Hakagure - Dupliarms

She's a totally normal girl! With six arms. That she can grow extra body parts on. She just wishes there was a cute guy out there with a thing for weird arms.

Katsuki Bakugou - Tail

He's determined to be the greatest. He may be pretty normal aside from a powerful prehensile tail, but that thing is a constant lashing force of destruction under the force of his rage.

Izuku Midoriya - Sugar Rush

When he was a kid, eating sugar would make him absolutely bonkers. His mother cut it out of his diet, but turns out his quirk transforms sugar into the motherlode of all rushes, granting him superhuman speed and strength. Only, afterwards, his body totally gives out.

Hitoshi Shinso - Engine

He's got engines in his legs. He's a speedster but never really figured out how to use his quirk for combat, so didn't manage to make it into the hero course. He wants to prove himself though, and worked hard for this transfer.

Momo Yaoyorozu - Electrification

She is a top-level student, her intellect is her pride. Unfortunately, if she uses her quirk too much, that prized intelligence is shocked away to nothing as her IQ drops tremendously until she recovers.

The Future Has Taken Root In The Present

On the surface it may appear as though Crypto overall is on a see-saw type of movement (at best) or a sideways-downward progression (at worst). Many with short-term outlooks are assuming that the crypto market has passed them by, but behind the scenes there is a chess-game that is being played unlike any other with ramifications that will be felt in the years to come. In the eyes of the casual spectator or newcomer to the crypto space, the volatility that the market is experiencing may be enough to pull the ripcord and bail out for (so called) ‘greener' pastures. For the experienced crypto investor who knows better, this is par for the course, and like the major institutional players, they are thinking long-term, betting on the fortunes to be made in the post-volatile years to come. In other words, they understand that volatility is their friend as this is where the gains are made, but for the untrained eye, buying low when there is fear is much worse than buying high when the ‘elite’ (be it big-shots, celebrities or their ilk) have given their stamp of approval. However, when this happens, the jig is up as the majority would have already since jumped on board, with the profit-potential a distant memory. For the masses who fear volatility in the markets (no different than the investors who held Amazon, Google  or eBay stock during the Dot Com era when it was risky), rather than focus their efforts in the sound business practices and foresight that these companies were building, they instead listened to the negativity, or even well-meaning acquaintances, while the steady hands who paid attention remained calm and took the flack by weathering the storm. For these folks, the old story 'The Little Red Hen' was not just a children's fable, but rather a blueprint of perseverance, toil and ultimate redemption. Investing and holding strong to your conviction, regardless of the crypto project, is hard and not for the faint of heart, but for those who are willing to see the vision and struggle through it, regardless of the hecklers or those trying to convince you otherwise will be the ones who realize the reward which is why so few will end up at the finish line. Will all projects make it - indeed the answer is an overwhelming NO, but therein lies the opportunity to which only you can make the decision and judge your own risk-reward threshold.  So, what is going on behind the scenes? It can pretty much be summed-up in one word: Silence. In other words, while we cannot see physically what is occurring on a geo-political level, we do see the evidence of the vast amount of crypto that is being stockpiled. If it were more transparent such that these investments were being transferred to various markets or exchanges, that would be one thing, but the truth is that these digital assets are being bought and held. Here’s the facts:

90% of Bitcoin has already been mined

In approximately the next 10 Years (currently June, 2022), 99% of all Bitcoin will have been mined - 10 years!

Getting back to the word ‘silence’, the above evidence speaks volumes and equates to only a single common denominator...  crypto is being held, but not sold. What’s the take-away? They are holding out for higher prices. Period. Full Stop. While there are many things that are not known about the specifics of WHY they are holding out, it matters little because regardless of the reason, the simple truth is that they are, and that’s all the investor needs to know. 

The problem however, is that this message is either being ignored, or just not being drummed as much as it should to the ones who should heed it the most. What IS being constantly communicated is quite the opposite, which is the sentiment of fear and confusion, which is as it should be in the minds of the  major financial players making these proclamations, all in an effort to SELL NOW (so they can buy more). We’ve been told to not pay attention to the man behind the curtain, or “look here... don’t look there”, but in the end, it is up to the conscience of your own soul to separate fact from fiction and tell right from wrong. In this scenario, only diligent research into your project(s) of choice will be able to remove the haziness and ‘noise’. Yes, this means extra work and dedication to not only step out of your comfort zone, but also dedicate time that you don’t have to remain focused on the task, but if the prize is always in sight, the price pales in comparison. Keep squarely in mind... at all times that this is a new asset class, and the last asset-class which was created was hundreds of years ago, but this one has far-reaching advantages that the prior derivations simply cannot compete with such as Decentralization (trust-less nature), Immutability (cannot be stopped by the incumbent financial system) and Portability (can be sent anywhere in the world rapidly and without intermediaries). Add to this the fact that there is a finite amount, and you have an asset that, while in it’s teething period today, will be incredibly valuable, rare and widely accepted in the years to come... for those who see it.
