Drawing her got me THINKING about my warden. She makes me so miserable and I haven't even finished her game yet (she'll likely die at the end).

But just. Starting out.... Sure she's a little spoiled and a little vain. Comes with being raised as a noble. But she's also very polite and respects the duty that comes with her position. She's done her studies and goes to church and excels at swordfighting (she delights in beating her brother in sparring sessions and not letting it go). Generous and charming. Very cheeky and loves pranks and jokes when she can get away with it. (And she's always sad and disappointed her brother's wife can't tell when she's fooling around.) Was a bit of a menace growing up and in the right time and company she still will be. When she was gifted a warhound she named it 'Kitten' of all things.

But then her family gets slaughtered overnight and there's nothing she can do. She can't even stay behind to protect her parents (something that haunts her for a long time after). Her entire future burns to ashes and she's dragged away to join an order she doesn't quite believe in (Duncan is nice enough but this isn't what she's been preparing for all her life). She shuts down and closes herself off... But she's still polite and respectful most of the time. But more than anything she wants revenge (and if she doesn't live past that revenge.... Well! She's not thinking about it). And really this isn't what she wanted but she can work with this. At least fighting darkspawn is a way to went her feelings... Only THAT falls apart too! The grey wardens are wiped out save her and Alistair and she's put in charge of rebuilding the order and preventing the blight. (Which. While isn't ideal, she's meant to be a leader of sorts,,,,) And through all this her worst traits come to light as she grieves in silence and shuts herself away,,,,

b) Lobes of the Brain

 Each hemisphere of the brain comprises four lobes, each harboring distinct functional domains:

Frontal Lobe: Governing executive functions, motor control, and higher cognitive processes.

Parietal Lobe: Integrating sensory information, spatial awareness, and perception of pain and touch.

Occipital Lobe: Specialized for visual processing and perception.

Okay I did get distracted by a grade being posted and I am about to be both a nerd and a millennial but god ngl I do hate classes where you get full points on all your assignments but don't actually get any actual feedback on them. What is the point. If it's a class where everyone gets passing grades for making the effort but you get actual feedback and comments, that's great! One of my favorite [and by favorite i mean most hated things] that frustrates me about human interaction is that whole "don't call me Miss/Sir" situation that I sometimes come across in the wild while working. Its not one of those things that pisses me off not because I can't find a gender neutral term to address people [i would fucking love that actually] but more along the lines of the hostility that these people hit me with when im just trying to be respectful.

like, growing up i was always taught that you address the adults in your life as "sir/maam' because that's how you show respect and it become ingrained in my personality bc trying to be respectful is one of my main priorities when addressing people.

but then you get to those particular old folks who are like "DONT CALL ME THAT!!" with such fury that makes me immediately want to address them as a motherfucker or bitch instead and then get even more pissed when i keep the interaction as short as possible to avoid interacting with them and move on to something else like goddamn im sorry i pissed you off fuck you and have nice day

i don't understand it, why would you force your kids to interact with people a certain way and then get pissy when it travels into their adult life? yoooooou established the rules so what the fuck is the problem????

for clarification, this isn't about misgendering anyone and catching attitude with that, that's somewhat more understandable bc that can in fact be interpreted as hostile or automatically rude. This is about the people who i guess don't want to feel older than they actually are or something idk i just know it would be nice to not have someone automatically assign aggression to my intentions when im just repeating what was taught to me as a kid

Do you have a PhD? You definitely have the skills of someone who has one. If you don’t, do you plan on ever getting one? You’re only eight, but I’m pretty sure they would make an exception for the one and only Miles Tails Power. Most eight year olds don’t help save the world and invent new planes along with other amazing technologies on a regular basis. I suppose you don’t really need one for what you spend most of your time doing, but I think having people call you a doctor would just be neat. That, and having an official sign of how smart you are in case you ever experience any doubt.

Nope! Never really thought of getting one either. Having to pay to go to college or whatever, to learn something I already know and get graded on it, doesn't really sound fun.

Having an official document forged proving how 'smart' I am seems unnecessary, too. I know what I know. Don't need papers to prove it or anything.

do you ever start writing something and go "hmm this one element doesn't quite make sense, I should come up with a good explanation for it," so you start trying to come up with an explanation...

and then you black out and wake up 3 days later with extensive worldbuilding that has gone WAY OFF TRACK and STILL DOESNT EVEN MAKE THE ORIGINAL THING WORK

When I was falling behind in school, the only thing that helped me was writing out each task I needed to complete on a sticky note and taking it down when I finished the assignment. Writing it out in a notebook or a planner didn't help; I needed that visual reward of removing that note and seeing the list decrease as I finished each assignment.

I also assigned a color to each class to keep track of them (I was very behind in my English class at the time of this photo).

Another thing that may have helped is assigning a color to a class, assigning a color to urgency instead - for example, red is late, yellow is tomorrow, blue is a week, and green is two weeks or more.
