Since some new athletes subject to gender (sex) testing are getting a lot of spotlight shined on the transphobic elements of this practice, please can people keep in mind the intersexist nature of sex testing. While many concerns raised about athletes’ gender/sex are related to transphobia, the material reality is that these people aren’t trans, they are intersex. These tests reveal that these women have hyperandrogenistic conditions that make them intersex. They are experiencing oppression based on having an intersex condition. This isn’t “oops we oppressed a cisgender person who might have been trans,” it is the intentional oppression of people who are intersex.

The French hijab ban pisses me off so much. The very idea of a hijab ban is irrefutably a violation, undeniably discriminatory and bigoted. And to enforce it upon your athletes, your champions competing for you at like the biggest sporting event, it's so disrespectful and audacious. It's such a clear disregard for your athletes. They're not just your athletes, they're your people, but France has made it clear they don't care about French Muslims.

Your boyfriend just won an importang match. In a huge stadium, with lots of people watching. Not just in the stadium. This game was probably in hundreds of tvs outside or inside of a home. Kids, adults, teenagers watching. And your boyfriend just won the last match. At least your secret boyfriend.

After a bit of celebration with his teammates, thanking the people who are cheering for them and some awardings or a speech with their coach he immediately ran to you.

You were there watching him win, watching him score every point or defend every attack from their opponent. Your hands was laying on the railings. He was on the other side. On the court/field.

You raised your hand, offering him a high five. Even if their were still a hundred or even thousands of people. He still ran to you. His secret lover. "Congrats. That was a good game." He responded to your high five his hand on top of yours but then he pulled you, and then kissed you on the lips. Infront of all the people. You swore you heard alot of camera flash, screams and gasp's.

As she took off into the swarm of runners, Gibb started to feel overheated, but she didn’t remove her hoodie. “I knew if they saw me, they were going to try to stop me,” she said. “I even thought I might be arrested.” It didn’t take long for male runners in Gibb’s vicinity to realize that she was not another man. Gibb expected them to shoulder her off the road, or call out to the police. Instead, the other runners told her that if anyone tried to interfere with her race, they would put a stop to it. Finally feeling secure and assured, Gibb took off her sweatshirt. As soon as it became clear that there was a woman running in the marathon, the crowd erupted—not with anger or righteousness, but with pure joy, she recalled. Men cheered. Women cried. By the time she reached Wellesley College, the news of her run had spread, and the female students were waiting for her, jumping and screaming. The governor of Massachusetts met her at the finish line and shook her hand. The first woman to ever run the marathon had finished in the top third.”
