#nicholas d wolfwood#trigun#trigun maximum#tw blood#going to be talking vol 9 spoilers in here pls do not read if u have not read it!!#wolfwood my beloved. he's such a battle genius with such strong survival instincts and incentive to fight. it makes me so sad but also#it's just the way he's been able to live for as long as he has [explodes]#midvalley calling him a demon/devil (iforget which word) and livio being like “victory seems impossible” when faced against him aughhh AUGH#he's clearly not invincible - vol 8 proved that when he almost did get beat if not for vash swooping back in... but the way he carries#the battles really makes it feel like it. especially whenever he “revives” for the sake of protecting another person. i.e. him getting#back up to defeat livio - him battered and worn from the fight but then pushing his body to get up when chapel aimed at the orphanage#and then despite the blood gushing out of him he still regained cautiousness to defend razlo at the end.... ugh.... ugh.....#anyway... i love how nightow draws ww - these were fun to do. ive been meaning to do these redraws esp from vol 9/10#and maybe ill go back to do redraws from his previous fights. all and all i just need to get down how he uses the punisher properly#ruporas art

I wish to present you:
My attempt to draw Determined Clover (I am not an artist so if things seem out of proportion that is why)
I decided to give them Zenith Martlet's wings and Ceroba/Kanako's mask as a face design to reference the final bosses that they befriend in Pacifist. (Also since Zenith Martlet's wings are (possibly) black on the outside, that's why their black in the colored version.)
I had a lot of fun making this because the drawing you made of Determined Clover vs. No Mercy Clover was very cool and I wanted to try and make it into an actual Undertale Battle Scene (everything in this has been drawn by hand). Enjoy :)
WHHHAAATTT THIS LOOOKS SO COOLLLL!!!! the battle UI looks amazing for it all by hand?!?! and the wings and cerobas mask markings are so bigbrained, i might have to steal those elements for their official design (/lh)

TAG ATTACK#kris deltarune#ok thats it#their shirt is yellowbecause No i dont have to explain anything actually . go away#the phrase “a deceptive use of you” has been stuck in my brain since yesterday#because i was wondering how people still manage to misinterpret kris as a stand in for the player after chapter 1#but i did realize the word you is used. So much in the narration that. especially if someone hasnt played undertale true pacifist then yeah#youd assume theyre a stand in for “you”#just after chapter 1's ending Probably should put a dent into that assumption#deltarune makes a VERY strange point to differentiate kris's actions in certain pieces of narration . ex: in ch 3 secret boss fight and ch4#egg room#but i also dont think that Specifically means that “you” doesnt also mean kris#a lot of instances imply that “you” is referring to kris as well. especially ch 4 mirror dialogue. love that dialogue#but which “you” means kris and which “you” means you and which “you” means... something else???? i have no idea. ripping shit with myteeth#ESPECIALLY since theres no frame of reference for it because (iirc) in undertale frisk is NEVER referred to in narration#we only know their name because they told it to asriel#tbf the player/protagonist separation was definitely not as big of a plot point in undertale as it is in deltarune#not to say it wasnt relevant at all but frisk is literally jst hoo boy 0_0 hot. dog.#anyways all that to say that the word “you” in utdr is so strange and deceptive.#i drew like ten different sketches last night because i read cq for the first time & it made me want to draw so so so os o bad but was tire#so ill probably be posting more art once i start getting them past the sketch stage.
