i totally feel like it. this is going to be really cute!

set in the grey’s anatomy canon verse, during jackson & april’s elopement.

Morning sun washes white walls in pale yellow, a clock on the bedside table reads 8:45 AM and the only audible noise comes from soft breathing and contented sighs; lovers basking in the gentle haze of newly married bliss, limbs tangled like roots as they lie in bed together.

Jackson’s aquamarine hues briefly gaze over at the clock, his bare chest rising and falling with a deep sigh as reality sets in: he and April are going to have to check out of their hotel room in an hour, which means they really should get out of bed and start getting ready for the day.

He shifts slightly, trying to nudge his wife off of him gently or signal her attention that their time is running out. The redhead tightens her hold on him, pulling him closer — if that were even possible.

“April,” He chuckles softly, his fingers brushing through her fiery tresses, “sweetheart, we have to get up.”

“You’re so warm…” She hums in reply, her fingertips ghosting over his stomach lazily, almost absentmindedly.

“I hear you, but we really need to get up, love. Our checkout time is in an hour, we don’t have a lot of time.”

April groans in protest, but obliges to her husband’s words and unwinds herself from around him. Jackson grins down at her and presses a soft kiss to her lips, before getting out of bed and picking up his clothes.

The redhead watches her husband for a beat, then joins him in picking up after themselves and the reality that their mini honeymoon was slowly drawing to a close.

One thing I can’t stop thinking about of Harry in UDLTTOM is how as an Adult Auror physical age-regressed to a teenager, he’s living in Slytherin surrounded by other teenagers & teens do some pretty dumb/hilarious things & I can’t help picturing him walking into his dorm durning the oddest/uncomfortable moments like:

Scenario 1

Ignotus Avery (to Cygnus Black): I just feel if you and Abraxas were such good friends, you’d show Abraxas what’s in your pants.

Abraxas: I feel supported—

Cygnus: What is going on with you two?!

*Harry backing slowly & silently out of the room*

i had a subnautica story forever ago where the play character is a woman mourning her dead wife + maybe a dead child and coming to terms with that grief through the planet and through the empress and ultimately choosing to stay because the planet is the most peace shes had since the tragedy. same basic plot and story beats but yk, more focus on grief and solitude.

the amount of primos you’ve gained in such a short amount of time scares me… but also give me hope because i have none saved for arlecchino!

(the best advice that i can give for primo collection is do the primogem-giving world quests AND blaze through any unfinished story quests [i did all the ones i was willing to skip dialogue on and just didn't unlock the ones i actually wanted to do properly; mainly lyney's and neuvi's]...... events help a lot too!)

Tom (losing whatever patience he had left): For you to stop hanging off Evans like a bloody barnacle?!

Ignotus: Oi! You think I’m enjoying this?!

Tom: I think you are—

Ignotus: Look, Tom, I have better things to be doing. Better people to be doing, in fact, than keeping you and Evans from shagging.

Tom: Then why the bleeding hell do you keep intervening?

Ignotus: Because he ordered me to! I owed him a life debt, I didn’t have a choice. I told him the two of you should just pound one out and you’d move on to the next best thing, but he’s adamant it’s not happening! Maybe you should just respect that he doesn’t want to shag you for whatever reason—
