Alright, I just had another sweet idea that I wanted to post about:

Johnny knows Scottish Gaelic. Sometimes, he looks for an excuse to speak it, even if that excuse is just trying to annoy you since you can't understand him. He's very proud of his heritage. However! You can ask him to sing for you! His voice is kind of rough, and it cracks here and there, but he will sing to you if you ask him to. He actually loves singing you some cheesy love songs in Scottish Gaelic. Will gently hold you while singing and look at you with as much love as he can muster, always finishing off his songs with a kiss to the top of your head. It doesn't matter if you're taller or shorter than him, a kiss is the law. If you tell him that you love it when he sings to you, he'll actually do it more often! If you need some comfort, then he'll hold you close and just sing to you. It may not seem like much since he really doesn't have a very nice singing voice, but to someone, who's never been sang a lullaby before, it's the thought that counts. Johnny hopes he can make you feel at ease, if just a little bit. He wants to shield you from this cruel and unyielding world, and if him singing you a small lullaby in Scottish Gaelic can help with that, then he's more than willing to learn the sweetest songs out there!

So much love and recognition to the people who don't know how they feel about recovering. To the people whose scars are fading away, and there's a sinking feeling, despite knowing that it's a good thing. To the people who miss when they were "worse," when they felt "broken." To the people who mourn losing their coping mechanisms, even the ones that were destructive, scary, or unpleasant. To those who feel guilty they're healing because their past self wasn't ready.

Whatever it is, there is nothing wrong with any of those feelings. It's a natural reaction, something you don't have ultimate control over. There is nothing shameful about yourself, and I admire the strength it takes to recognize how you feel, even the parts that do feel like the "wrong" reaction to a Good Thing.

Sometimes I think about Louise Hobbs for too long and start going a little crazy.

Garret Jacob gets all the attention on the show. Abigail gets it from fandom. The absence of Louise is almost invisible. She’s not there. We don’t think about her.

We don’t think about her, of course, because she’s not in canon in the first place. She has no lines. Her name is not mentioned in dialogue. She only barely appears on camera.

Here is Louise Hobbs alive and well. Striking about this bit, once I was looking at it: she doesn’t look towards the camera, she doesn’t look towards her family members, and her family doesn’t look towards her. They move around one another and don’t directly interact. Look at it: Abigail and Garret Jacob Hobbs are communicating, here, in a way that she’s entirely cut off from.

(And, ok, listen, I’ve gotta sidebar. Even before Abigail actually picks up the phone, GJH is keeping track of where she goes. There are no clear frames of this tiny interaction, but look:

he’s keeping tabs on her. The minute she moves, he’s checking over his shoulder to see what she’s up to. By contrast, he doesn’t look at his wife even once.)

(One other thing about this tiny little scene of them playing house. GJH has absolutely no chill. He is tense and intense even before he gets on the phone. It’s not really possible to tell what Abigail is thinking through all of this--we know from later that she’s a pretty good liar--but Garret Jacob Hobbs is not subtle. He’s jumpy as fuck, and he’s probably that way all the time.)

The next time we see Lousie, she’s being shoved out the front door. Think about that. GJH didn’t kill her immediately. He’s not interested in seeing her dead. He’s using her to buy time in the kitchen with Abigail because he knows he doesn’t have any left.

The way I remembered Louise dying was with a cut to her throat, but look at it. She’s got wounds on her arms, on her torso. He wasn’t careful, or quick. He didn’t hold out his hand to her and ask her to come closer. He attacked her, shoved her out the door, and slammed it behind her.

That is the end of Louise Hobbs.

Hobbs family dynamics just. Absolutely fascinate me. (Too much.) I so desperately want to know what it was like to be Louise Hobbs. I want to know how much she knew, how much she suspected, and how much she refused to let herself understand. She’s the cannibal the show cares about the least. She’s the one who dies so that someone else can have a little more time.

The show constantly returns to the idea of murder as a way to break or make families. Besides the Hobbs family, there’s the children and foster mother from Oeuf, Gideon killing his wife in backstory, Lawrence Wells who killed his own son, Margot and Mason, and of course Dolarhyde’s obsession with killing families together. Louise Hobbs’s is a murder to break a family. She is, very literally, cast out.

We do see her one last time:

It’s interesting that, when Abigail sees this, Alana is the one who becomes her mother. Whatever you want to say about the long-term feasibility of the Murder Family, it’s indisputable that Hannibal was never interested in planning a future with Alana. She’s there nearly by accident. Holding a place meant for Will. She is not part of the plan.

If Abigail mourns for Louise, she does it off-screen. We see flashbacks to her interactions with Garret Jacob, but, after this, Louise never returns. We’re left to wonder, or to forget, all on our own.

oda's strong women don't stand around saying how they aren't like other girls then tear each other down - they are always so supportive of each other! its why we can joke that nami is a huge lesbian with the most game of the crew. she always bonds with other women so deeply so quickly without a hint of two faced-ness. its always so genuine and so so sweet.

kaya, vivi, robin, camie, wanda, kiku, even lola-the-homicidal-zombie-warthog who thought nami was stealing her love interest. lola ended up helping nami above all. nami fought a guy she was terrified of for lola! no hesitation!!

Here we go with a person from afar. Is as old as the stars and travels from world to world this is Lumine!Reader.

They are really old but nobody can exactly say how old as they look like 16 to 17 and are 158 cm tall.

They normally go by the name "Traveller" as they hide their real name, but since the Chain already has a Traveller.

They took the name "Viatrix".

Their Constellation is called "Viatrix" which means Traveller in Latin.

They have a twin brother, Aether. They are actually inseparable but they got separated by a unknown god named the Sustainer of heavenly principles.

Their abilities also got sealed.

They are a fabulous swordfighter and with their twin they are an unbeatable duo as the cover each others blind spots. But they are stronger than their brother.

From the two of them they are the rational but friendly one.

They are always collected and serious and they will say if they don't like something. They are the calm one of the duo.

But they also the strategist and would be a great detective.

But they love to explore and climb around, even Wild would be surprised how fast they can climb mountains even when it rains, they use their elemental energy and gloves to have a better grip.

But they have to take more breaks then their dear twin brother.

They can dive and jump out of the water like a dolphin and even jump from the water onto land and immediately attack if they have to.

They wouldn't be the most affectionate person and if someone got their heart they would hug and kiss their partner occasionally but not all the time.

They also cook very often, mainly because of Paimon, their guide in Teyvat, as she is always hungry. But since then they began to love cooking.

Reader has chin-length except for two locks of shoulder-length hair framing their face. They also have two light-blue Inteyvat flowers pinned on the right side of their head and two pale blue feathers tucked at the left.

They wear a sleeveless, backless, box pleated white tunic like dress-shirt, which is on back longer than by the front. It's held up by crossed black straps. They wear a long two-tailed scarf, with each tail having a gold, flat diamond-shaped ornament attached to the tip of the tail.

Their legwear consists of angled thigh-high stockings and white ankle-high boots.

They can use different elements, Anemo(Wind, Geo(Earth), Electro, Dendro(Plants) and Hyrdo(Water) as they met the Chain.

Their Song is "Dream Aria" from IONIC.

Reader learned about Yandere Chain and their first escape attempt.

Reader's PoV:

I woke up as Paimon shook me awake and as I looked at her she was covered in blood and looked terrified! I took her in my arms and looked around but only Sky was sleeping beside me in his bedroll.

„When did he change his place? Wasn't he beside Wild over there?“ I thought to myself and looked to the space by the other side of the campfire and me, where Sky laid before.

I stood up with Paimon and walked with her to the river nearby to wash her. She was shivering in fear. I've never seen her like that. We fought multiple monsters and people on Teyvat, so why was she so scared? As I got her out and dried her gently with Anemo she literally stuck to me like glue.

„Paimon, what's wrong? You look like you seen a ghost.“ I looked at her and she has tears in her eyes but she pshed me.

„Don't so loud!! They may hear us!!“ Paimon whisper-shouted at me so I looked confused at her.

„Who Paimon? Who could hear us?“ I whispered back but Paimon just looked at the camp and I understood what she wanted to say.

„The group? What have they done Paimon?“ she pointed into a direction and I sneaked to the direction and saw Wolfie eating bones, human or hylian bones.

The others of the group looked at him and gathered the bloody clothes. They put them in a fabric bag but they were also very bloody if I see through the reflection right. Paimon hid her face in my shoulder and I held it there. Then Wolfie turned into Twilight?! I had my suspicions but never thought I was right. So I sneaked back to the camp.

„Are you crazy!? Why are you going back there!?“ she whisper shouted at me

„I need to get a sword they took mine for "maintenance" probably to make me defenseless!“ I said back and looked around the camp for a sword but the only one here was the Master Sword.

So I tiptoed to Sky and pulled the sword out of her sheath. As I got her I began to sprint into the opposite direction of the group.

„Wait, what about Sky? He is in danger if we leave him there with these lunatics!“ said Paimon worried but scared.

„No, he is one of them. Do you remember as everyone except for Wild went for "hunting"? They never came back with anything of the forest. No squirrels, no deer, no boar or even a bird, but they came back with a meat that was from a horse?“

„Is that why you said we shouldn't eat it!? You thought it was a person!?! Eeek!“

„Well not really, at first I thought they tried to poison us as we are not from Hyrule. I thought they saw us as a threat. But now I know they wanted us to help to get rid of the evidence.“ I explained everything but then Paimon jumped... Uh... floated higher in fear

„But they have Wolfie... Uhm Twilight... Uhhh... They have someone with a good nose! We will be discovered in the matter of days!! Or hours if they are back already.“

„That's why I look for mud. If we cover ourselves with it our scent will be overridden by the mud and he will not know where we are!“

„Good, Traveller. Paimon is scared...“

„I know Paimon. But don't worry, I protect you! I will get us back to Teyvat! I will find Aether! And never return to Hyrule!!“

„Who taught you to speak their language actually? Paimon is curious.“

„It was a knight in-training back then. Aether and I taught him some fast moves with the sword and he taught us his language. His name was "Link" like the boys back there.“

„Do you think they are related?“

„I think, it's more like they are his reincarnations. This eyes... I never forget how he looked at us and how they sparkled when we showed him something new. They have a part of him, I'm sure but thanks to their journeys and upbringings they developed differently than how he was.“ I sprinted more as I saw a mud pond and jumped in with Paimon.

I just bathed her but that doesn't matter right now. Our survival was more important than hygiene right now. I bathed us in mud before taking Paimon and ran into another direction but still away from the camp and the group. I just wished I had my abilities, if I had them I could fly away easily. But now I had to avoid all villages, towns, people, guards and especially the royals and the heroes. If one of them sees me, they will find us and I can't accept that! They scared Paimon to death!

„Spirit of the Sword, I know I'm not a hero of this world, I know I'm not even Hylian or from this world, but please, help me to flee from your crazy wielders!“ I thought to myself while the sword started to emit a blue glow and I saw multiple beacons in the in the horizon, but only I am able to see them as Paimon couldn't see them.

„Thank you, Sword Spirit. With that I can see the group in the distance and avoid them even better. I hope your ready, because I won't hold back when they try to catch and fight me!“ the sword blinked blue before going back to normal. Now I want to save her as well! She doesn't need a bunch of psychos as her wielders! I will take her with me to Teyvat, maybe she will like it and the gods over there are way nicer than Hylia.

This is how Reader's first attempt to flee and they were really good, especially with the beacon on the Hero's Spirit. But they will catch them eventually. Maybe in a dungeon or after entering a portal. But it would be funny if the Chain wouldn't be able to wield Fi anymore because Fi also fell in love with Reader. Just imagine a Yandere Sword Spirit. She may be asleep but her conscience is still awake. So the group would definitely delude themself into thinking that Reader woke up and got attacked. And as we all know Sky is a hibernating bear when he is asleep, took Fi to protect themself and Sky. But they will definitely notice that Paimon is more fidgety around them and that Reader and Paimon talk way more in teyvatian than usual. But they discarded it as soon as Reader mentiones that Paimon isn't feeling well, because of the shadow, which they believe as they can't understand that they plan to run away again but this time to Teyvat. Away from the group forever. But they get the meat for cooking for Paimon and themself and just said that the last meat they had with the group made Paimon sick and they don't want Paimon to feel sick all the time and as the group sees them as Paimon's parental figure so the boys try to fill the other spot, which is hard as hell as Paimon can't understand them and vice versa. Ughh... Why are Yanderes so crazy to handle?

OOOOHHH another genshin reader!!! lumine makes so much sense too - and also???? the way that she's been to hyrule BEFORE????? with aether albeit but she's visited before????????? AND MET A LINK BEFORE?????

Hell with the link described they met WARS before?????? it'd be an interesting take if that is the link - and he just hasn't joined the chain yet, reader could be why he ended up siding with them even

it's a shame the chain are so set on being controlling with them though - they really can be incredibly stupid at times, because sometimes there really are better ways to act. it's good for reader though they aren't like a frog being slowly boiled, they actually know to try to GTFO of the situation there

PLUS FI????? sweet baby yan sword spirit love them so, if they're a yan too though.... maybe there's a way to bond their sword to them... or something happens to their original blade so they can never use it again...

also poor paimon sfvdvgdfgvdszf never getting the chance to learn the language and is just lost there not understanding (i'd say teach em but they would probably let it slip they know the language)

Hugging, Kissing and Cuddling HCs for König

I'm trying to see him in another light again after everything I've seen about him, so I decided I'd write something fluffy and nice for him. And then came the realization I never wrote some HCs like these for him in my original posts, so I decided I'd change that! He's Austrian, so naturally I have to love him!

When it comes to hugging someone, König is a bit hesitant. Considering he’s not the most physically affectionate person out there, it’s almost an honor to be receiving an unprompted hug from him. Whether his hugs are long or short depends on the occasion: If he’s proud of you for accomplishing something, then the hug will be rather short lived. Though, he might pick you up and spin you around until you’re dizzy. If you’re sad and need some comfort then his hugs could last a while. He’s not the best with words, he prefers to listen to other people, but if he knows a hug is what usually helps you then he’s willing to do so. Despite being a big and strong lad his hugs are surprisingly gentle, he’s worried about crushing you. He could put his all into them, but then you’d likely end up with a few broken ribs and he doesn’t want that to happen. König is also surprisingly warm, so receiving a hug from him is a rare, but nice experience. Although he does go rigid at the beginning, not knowing what to do, but relaxes into the hug eventually.

Again, he’s not a very physically affectionate person, but isn’t opposed to the occasional peck on the cheek or on your lips either. There is some anxiety whether you’d actually want a kiss from him or not, so he doesn’t kiss you very often, even if you do reassure him that it’s quite alright. He’s a bit tense at first when he presses a kiss to your lips, but calms down eventually. It’s especially bad during the beginning of your relationship, but he’s since gotten better at being calm about it. Since there’s a good chance he’s taller than you he loves giving you a kiss on the forehead. It’s a small but sweet gesture. He doesn’t need to bend down entirely to reach you but he still gets to be affectionate with you. However, if you’re on the taller side, or just as tall as he is, then he’d love to receive kisses to his temple from you. It makes him smile every time you do it. If he’s in the mood for receiving a kiss then he’ll lay his head on your shoulder and nudge you a bit. Or try to get his head in your closer vicinity. Kind of like that one bunny video where the bunny stretches to receive some kisses.

Cuddles with him are a bit more common than hugs actually. However, he refuses to lay down on top of you. If you’re shorter and weaker than him then there’s no chance he’ll put his weight on you, he’s just that afraid of hurting you. If you’re taller or just more muscular, then he might, but he’s still a rather heavy lad. Most he’ll do is put his head on your shoulder while you’re cuddling in bed and are both lying down. Although it’d be a lie to say he doesn’t want to be held. König is alright with being the one to hold you, but sometimes he would prefer to be the little spoon as well. That urge gets especially bad if you’re roughly the same size as him. Sometimes just nuzzling into your chest does the trick for him as well, though. Loves it when you run your fingers through his hair as he does so. Another thing he adores is you sleeping on his chest as he holds you. He gets to hold you close, he gets to protect you and he gets to doze off a bit himself, it’s bliss to him. Sometimes he leans down to press a kiss to your head and accidentally wakes you up like that. He feels bad about it and apologizes profusely, but does chuckle a bit when he sees your disheveled hair and your tired expression that shows you just woke up.
