idk if this is cringe but i got to curate for pennstate’s museum’s permanent collection of photographs and they took 6 of our selections on approval. And i cried. this is like my first big success in the art world. i curated for a permanent collection!!! what the hell!!!! how is this my life?????😭😭😭

I felt so cringe leaving my book out to be borrowed but like! One of my coworkers immediately snatched it up because she’s heard other coworkers hyping it up (the other coworker who read it told multiple people she loved it) and everyone is excited for me when I say I’ve written a book. Once you get out of your brain you realize most people feel nothing but intense enthusiasm about people they know making things or being creative. It’s really cool

new girl at work (her names Brooklyn just in case I ever bring her up again...not that I expect anyone to remember this LOL) understands me on such a crazy level that no one else at work does because she's also got a chronic illness that deals a lot with fatigue. and when she takes her breaks, she goes out to her car specifically because she has to get away from everyone and decompress JUST LIKE ME. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH MY OTHER COWORKERS DO NOT UNDERSTAND THAT?? we keep having these bonding moments over chronic fatigue I feel so seen right now
