KAEYA

no matter what you give him, whether it's something small you found on your adventures or something you hand crafted, he will treasure it greatly.

unlike kaeya, not everyone is good with their words. he knows your love for him is expressed through these gifts so he tries to keep them somewhere safe at all times.

keeps some of the items you give him in his office over at the knights of favonius headquarters.

looks at your gifts whenever he's stressed, missing you, or simply bored.

whenever you come up to him with an object in hand, he can't help the grin that spreads across his lips.

"oh? what's this, sweetheart? another little gift?" he'd ask, a playful and teasing lilt to his smooth voice.

his gloved fingers take the small gift and he examines it with a soft expression in his icy eyes.

affectionately snakes an arm around your waist to pull you closer to him.

bends down to grace your lips with a brief and sweet peck, genuinely smiling down at you afterwards.

"thank you, darling. i really appreciate it," he says, pocketing the object to keep it later as he continues to spend the day together with you.

THOMA

trust me when i say that thoma's never going to get tired receiving gifts from you.

he feels so loved whenever he sees an object in your hand, sheer happiness spreading through every fibre of his body when you tell him it's a gift for him.

he will for sure keep every single thing you give him.

would never forget where he puts your gifts. he'll always know where they are because he likes looking at them throughout the day for motivation.

whenever you bring a gift to him, the brightest smile begins to form on his charming features.

you can nearly see his eyes sparkle in excitement and joy as he takes whatever you give him into the palm of his hand.

he's careful when handling what you gave him, gentle hands feeling out the object with a wide grin on his face.

will always repay you in his own way, placing a sweet kiss to your cheek as he proudly stares at the gift.

"awwe, my love, you didn't have to do this," he coos, pocketing the object safely in his oants so he couls put it somewhere safe later.

"but as always, i appreciate it lots, love. i'll be sure to keep it somewhere nice later yeah? i love you."

ITTO

kind of shocked, but still very very happy with your gift nonetheless.

he gets so excited when he hears you have something for him. like it doesn't matter what it is, he will be ecstatic about it.

he tends to misplace or lose some of the gifts you give him though.

whenever that does happen, he'll be so sad and pouty about it because he never wants to lose anything you give him.

whenever he loses a gift he'll apologize to you sincerely and it's pretty hard to stay mad at him with how adorable and genuine he is.

itto's eyebrows furrow in confusion first when you hold out something for him to take.

when you explain it's something you got for him because it reminded you of him, he'll get all giddy.

would definitely give you a bear hug, sweeping you up off of your feet and spinning you some times in the air.

peppers your face in happy kisses and outs you down, taking your gift in his hands afterwards.

you can hear the utter joy in his voice when he thanks you saying, "baby, this is so cool! thank you so much, i love it!"

XIAO

he's never going to get used to you giving him gifts. it's always a pleasant surprise that gets his heart pounding loudly in his chest every time.

he is very surprised when you first give him a gift, simply explaining that it reminded you of his love.

immediately flushes a light shade of red as he clears his throat saying, "you went out of your way for something so unnecessary."

realizes his words are a bit rough and mean so he takes the gift carefully from your hands. "but... thank you, nonetheless. it's very nice."

pockets the gift you give him for any day and makes sure it doesn't get damaged whenever he goes out to fight off some mobs.

sometimes he'll fiddle with it in his pocket whenever he isn't doing much and you aren't there with him.

other times the adeptus woukd take your gift out out from time-to-time.

he absentmindedly stares at the object with clear fondness in his eyes and the hints of a smile beginning to form on his features.

always shows how thankful he is, how meaningful everything you do is by his little acts of affection.

you'll find him being closer to you on some days, hands shyly intertwined with yours as he pecks your cheek from time to time. he may not be good at words as well, but he had his own ways of showing you his love.

ALBEDO

he loves every gift you give him, no matter how small or big it is.

he gets used to your little habbit and language of gift giving, so sometimes, he'd have a gift to return to you as well.

he keeps your gifts in a variety of places, just so he has a little piece and reminder of you everywhere he goes.

there are some gifts up in his lab at dragonspine, place atop different shelves and tables.

there are also some in your own shared home, used as decorations and symbols of your relationship and love.

as an alchemist, he figures out how to keep some of your gifts on him. he'll turn them into something wearable so he's reminded of your love at all times.

will always accept your gifts with a gracious smile and a loving gaze, examining the gift with nothing but a gentle hold as you explain what it is and why you gifted it.

when he hears that it reminded you of his love, his heart melts with the warmth of your affection.

he's kiss the top of your head lovingly and smile down at you.

"thank you for the gift, my love. it truly is beautiful and heartwarming, just like your love, no?"

“Hi everyone!“, Rae, aka the creator of today’s lobby, greets us all as we pile in one by one, excited to start the stream. 

I am especially excited however because I haven’t participated in a stream in quite a while seeing as how I’ve been very busy with my original content - animations. I made an animation talking about my vacation to Canada over the winter about two years ago. In my defense, it was a long video and I hadn’t posted in so long that I wanted to make it a special comeback - sort of - and something to repay my audience for their patience. I got too carried away in the gaming world and forgot my main field which is animation.

“Hi guys! Missed ya!“ I greet them for myself too, genuinely happy to be back seeing as how it’s been so long since I’ve talked to them or played Among Us with them. Maybe that’s another reason why the animation took so long to be finished: I lose motivation when I’m not social and since I don’t leave my house a lot when I’m working on a project, these guys are usually my only social interaction and without them I turned into a literal bum. “How have you all been? How’s it going?”

“It was barely going, to be honest.“ Corpse says with a huff of laughter.

“Yeah, it was super boring without you! Glad you’re back!“ Poki interferes too, her statement widening my smile.

“Aww thanks guys! I’m glad to be back too, feels like it’s been forever since I last was in this Discord server or in an Among Us lobby.“ I say, throwing a quick glance at my chat to see the excited comments left there by my viewers.

“Oh, and congrats on making it on Trending! I was overjoyed when I saw your video on the Trending tab, you don’t even know.“ Rae gushes, bringing a slight blush to my cheeks - yeah I know, I suck at receiving compliments about my work, I’m working on it though!

To be perfectly honest, that video didn’t deserve to make it to Trending. Hell, the chances of it making there were nonexistent considering my channel’s rather small and has a tight-knit community of about two hundred thousand people only. And I don’t mean that as though it’s a bad thing, I’m just using it to set the scene of how impossible it seemed to me that a video of mine would make it to Trending.

“Um yeah, thank you so much, Rae. Honestly, I need to thank Corpse for that.“ I say, my blush deepening as my cheeks grow even redder. “People thought the character in the animation was him so they had to investigate.“

Yeah, apparently a fan of mine who watched the video recognized the character of my boyfriend as Corpse and immediately took to Twitter to let people know what they’d found and man did it blow up. Anything involving Corpse blows up nowadays but I still owe him a ‘thank you’. One I bet he won’t accept. I know him too well at this point - I know he won’t take any credit for it whatsoever but oh whatever.

“My phone got blown up the day it was posted, holy crap.“ Corpse laughs, “I was so taken aback, in all honesty. I was like: yeah, no shit, Sherlock. - Thought everyone already knew we were dating. Like, the confusion really caught me off guard. I thought we were being obvious.“

Well....I guess that’s one way to reveal a relationship you’ve been keeping secret for months now.

“Thanks, babe. Couldn’t have done that any more originally, I guarantee.“ I sigh, tangling my fingers in the roots of my hair as I feel laughter bubbling up from my stomach to my chest, begging for me to let it out.

“Wait...“, Rae is, unsurprisingly, the one to break the silence that commences on our friends’ part, “WHAT?!“

“Yeah, I second that...“ Poki is quick to follow, “WHAT!?“

Hi! I'm a huge fan of your blog. What do you think about the plus est en vous ? Personally I'm kinda ok with it though there are things I didn't like about it(cough movie parallels cough), and I haven't rewatched it since it premiered (which is kinda horrifying).

I'm pretty bittersweet towards Plus Est En Vous because it's like... the finale form of all of s3's problems. It's the moment when you can't hope anymore for Cassandra's motives to start making sense again, the moment when all your unanswered questions... stay unanswered, for most part, the moment when the characters who should have been involved from the start are wasted one last time (yes i am talking about the brotherhood specifically... the mind control could have felt less icky and would have hit harder if they had been hanging out in Corona for the whole season you know)... when you look at PEEV with the whole series in mind, it is pretty disappointing compared to the potential we got glimpses of before. And I mean, some of the problems should have actually been solved BEFORE the last episode, i don't think PEEV should have been the moment to fix everything, but it was in fact the last time to do so

But even if you look at the episode in itself, while trying to ignore the weight of all the structural problems it's still not... great. The pacing is really weird (the whole monkey scene thing feel like a different episode + Rapunzel keeps going from ready to fight to missing cass to ready to fight to missing cass etc + the portal thing and the other dimension are pretty unnecessary... the list is long).

And the parallels feel like... a cheap way to make people ignore all of that. And they're also really frustrating since a lot of time they make no sense: cass who has known Rapunzel for three years saying "frying pans who knew?"??? the whole kingdom knew at that point???? That and the death scene which 1. makes no sense and 2. is honestly unnecessary both to Cassandra's and Rapunzel's character arcs, and actively makes Cassandra's worse actually (she's given little to no agency in her villain arc and her redemption, the moonstone is literally taken against her will and dying is just another thing that happens to her. It's stupid)... its only reason for existing is a parallel, and i mean, okay, IF IT WASN'T LIKE THE LAST IMPORTANT SCENE OF THE CLIMAX. And if they had actually tried to make it something more than a parallel by like, idk, giving us an actual reason for cass dropping dead.

The fight with Zhan Tiri's is seriously laughable by how little of a threat she poses, and how easily she could have won if she had put the stones somewhere else asfsjgdhdj you tell me the smartest, most cunning villain of the series puts both stones on her wrists even though them touching means her death? it's really stupid, and would have benefitted from a little more screentime which i propose we take from the unnecessary death

see when i start to talk about PEEV i get heated asfhsgdjd it's definitely an ep i'm only ok with if i don't think about it too much

I, however, love the scenes with the brotherhood and Eugene fighting. The brotherhood was wasted, but at least they were cool one last time 😭 ALSO THE PROPOSAL very cute it always make me forget my grievances for a moment

hello!! welcome back--i gotta admit I was not expecting this, but it's so nice of you and I really appreciate it <33. I hope you don't mind me compiling this all into one post, that way it's just a little more organized. you're entirely welcome to send as many asks as you want, so don't worry about continuing in others! I don't mind at all!

1. oo that's a really cool name meaning!! I always think it's interesting to hear what other people's name mean, or they meanings they've chosen to associate with them (as some have more that one). Quil doesn't really have a meaning, so I love hearing others'!! The only thing I miss about my dead name is the meaning, tbh, because it was pretty !!

also, I can totally imagine the cinnamon/sparkly popsicle. when you say that I immediately think of sparkling water for some reason, like it's not a taste it's a feeling. you put it in your mouth and it's an experience. you're wild dream was probably the highlight of my day!! something about it just stood out and I kept coming back to think about it. long silveny popsicles can do that to you, i guess

2. oopsie! my bad! when someone says writing I usually just default to the wings au, because that's the writing most people know me for. but!! i'm glad you like all the analyses I've done! I don't think they'll be stopping anytime soon--it's like everytime I answer an ask I get two more, which means there will be a steady stream of them for the forseable future. I really enjoy doing them, so I love hearing that people enjoy reading them! they're mostly just me rambling until I find a pattern or connection to latch onto, and then I build from there. and depending on the ask I might grab a book from my shelf to reference something if needed

also: thank you! The wings au is a pretty big project I've wanted to take on for a while, so it's absolutely thrilling to see people interact with it and talk about it--even if they haven't read it. There's absolutely no pressure on you to read it, just so you know! Honestly sometimes baffles me that I've gotten fanart and so many asks and comments on it, enough so that people who haven't read it still know what it is. like?? my wings au?? silly little idea I had all because of one stray thought one day?

as for writing it while taking college classes: yes! that's what I've been doing! I think i've had a combined total of like three weeks of break since January (i don't get summer), but aside from that i've had four or five classes while writing the au. Actually was taking an A&P class (which are notoriously difficult, even more so on summer schedule) this summer while working on it, which was wild. But a lot of the excited comments and theories and general interaction helped motivate me to keep going.

3. it's not dissapointing at all! I don't expect for anyone to read it, it's not something you have to do in order to interact with me and the stuff on my blog. it's just something I happen to be doing so if you like it you're welcome to engage with it! I actually don't read fanfic very often either, which may be surprising as I write it. Occasionally I binge a bunch of fics in a certain ship when I'm in the mood, but that's only once every few months. Ships just don't hold huge appeal for me, so I don't find a lot of fic that interests me. Also wow! mine was one of the first you've heard of?? that's a huge accomplishment to me, thank you! Where did you hear about it? I honestly don't know where people find my au, so I'm curious.

speaking of reading fanfic, Nattie's (theunmappedstar) fic is one of the few I've read! I haven't talked to them in a while, but they're very accomplished and it's an honor to be considered alongside them in terms of writing!

as for committing to mine, feel free to take your time! no rush! it's always going to be there! although I will say it does just keep getting longer, so be prepared for that. I update every two weeks on sunday, so you've got time. if you do read it, I'd love to hear your thoughts. truly, comments and just hearing what people think are the best motivation. it also enriches the story! I never know what's going to stick out to people or what they'll remember, so hearing from people gives me ideas for scenes in the future! I have a general idea of where this au is heading, but a lot of the details have been impacted by theories and comments. You absolutely don't have to though, just if you'd like I'd love to hear

4. thank you so much <33. I'd love to get back more into traditional art, as i've been focusing on digital recently. I just love how watercolors look! I actually have a few art requests from an embarrasingly long time ago (April) that I'd like to do in a traditional style. I also just haven't posted as much art recently, so I'd love to get back into that. Coloring and lighting were mostly me just winging it, trying to imagine a few colors that would look nice next to each other and then just going for it. Also, i cant even count how many times I would accidentally switch up the light source in in the middle of a piece. I actually took an art class a few semesters ago, so I have leftover supplies from that I could use for some keeper pieces! I've had a few ideas, so hopefully your encouragement can help me get back into that <33

the writer and artist thing: thank you!! both writing and art are interests of mine, so it's so cool to get recognized for both!! I remember when I started posting art I was doing it as a "I'll do this for now until I get to the writing" thing and then i accidentally became fairly well-known as an fanartist and i was just there like wait a minute this wasn't supposed to happen. But I love it!! I love doing fanart and I'd love to do more. But I also love writing! i have some ideas for aus and other one shots I'd like to do when the wings au is done, not that I'm trying to hurry that along. I thoroughly enjoy working on the wings au, and i'm not in any rush to get through it.

Late evening is probably the time of day at which Shugs is the most awake

So when you have like a 3 hour long phone call with him, it's like the beginning of his day

like you really wake him up and give him energy

so when you hang up past midnight because you're too tired, he let's the call end but then just sits and contemplates life

and thinks about you

sorry, the actual call

He was struggling for ideas for a track all day

and then you phoned him

it might kind of feel like he's being ignorant when you're talking to him

but really, your voice and everything you say makes him feel inspired

"Yeah, uh huh, yep, wow really..."

it sounds insincere

but you've known him long enough now to know that's Yoongi at work

and he's really good at multitasking

"Are you listening to a word I said?"

and he says yes and can recall what you just said perfectly

all whilst adding layers to his piece inspired by you

Sometimes he makes himself stay away from that computer screen particularly when he is missing you the most

that's when he likes to indulge in your voice and virtual company

you'll tell him something about your day

he will say his day wasn't anywhere near as interesting so you should just keep talking

and you do

your voice and your stories send him to sleep because just you relax him so much

"Yoongi?" you ask softly

no reply

you hang up the phone knowing that he's drifted off

and it's the best night's sleep he's had in ages

J-Hope

No matter how rubbish his day was

Hobi is always excited when you call

It doesn't matter how late it is

he's dancing around the living room before he picks up

and dancing whilst you talk to him

His neighbours on the floor below are like wtf is that unaware that the man above them is a dork

he makes up silly little jolly songs about you

at any other person, you'd cringe but with Hobi you can't wipe that big smile off your face

and then when he's used up most of his energy singing and dancing about you

he collapses on the couch and smiles at the sound of your voice

and then he falls asleep on the couch for a couple of hours with a smile on his face

Wakes up in the middle of the night feeling a bit empty

but happily takes himself to bed when he thinks about the next call he will have with you

Jimin

His heart flutters at the sight of your name on his phone calling him

sometimes misses that first call panicking and getting himself ready

the rule of thumb is to be surrounded by cosy and fluffy and cuddly things when on a call with you

that way, when he gets those moments of missing you the most,

he can cuddle that big teddy bear

or rest his face on the fluffy pillow

it's obviously not quite the same as being in your company

but it helps a little.

You tell him about your day

and he can imagine every move you make when you're describing what you got up to

he's thinking about how if he was there, he would come up behind you for a cuddle whilst you're cooking

or how he would be watching that tv series with you on the sofa

and so on

basically he's softer than soft

Can be quiet at times

sometimes you think there's a signal issue

"Hello? Chim?"

"Oh, hello" he replies softly, realizing he's just been lost in listening to you

"I'm still here my love, I was just listening that's all, sorry"

and he's forgiven

but you do wish he would maybe talk a little more

you want to hear about his day

but you know he won't say unless you ask him because he never wants to come across as too self involved

"Jimin, I want to hear about your day; how was it?"

"Oh, really? Well..."

and then he takes a while to begin because he's smiling too much about you wanting to hear about his day

he worries his day wasn't interesting enough

"I'm sorry I'm boring you aren't I? I'll shut up now..."

"No, Jimin!"

"It's okay I've forgotten what I was saying"

A lot of these late night calls are the two of you going to and fro like this

but you still get to go to sleep with smiles on your faces

"Tae, it's like 11pm, think about the neighbours!"

"Oops, sorry, I'm just excited to hear your voice"

Calls with Taehyung are a treat

he serenades you

ahh that deep voice is so soothing

you get to hear about his day

and then his little stories about the past that he accidentally goes off on a tangent with

"Wait, what was I talking about?"

You often give up within the first few minutes of the call to remind him that he has neighbours

it's not like it's disturbing your neighbours or anything

Sometimes he will talk about things you don't quite understand

but you just sit and listen because you just like to listen to him

then the game is up when you give the wrong kind of reply like "oh, absolutely"

"You haven't listened to a word I've said, have you?"

but he doesn't mind

he's pretending to be offended

he knows by now that you like his voice a lot

and he loves your voice too

Nervous bean no matter how many calls you've had

anxious to see you again and doesn't want to wait the night / next few days / week

The late night calls are therapeutic to him

you can just relieve all of his worries with a simple conversation

Nervous bean then turns into a smiley bean

Beats around the bush a bit

will mention something he saw or did the other day

it was something that reminded him of you

but he's to shy to mention that

so he doesn't really come to any conclusion in his sentence

"Sorry guk, so what was your point?" you ask patiently

"Nah, it's lame..."

"Aww come on Jeongukkieeee"

"Fine..."

and then he just comes out with the sweetest things that make you melt

he worries it's too cheesy if he says something like

"I was watching (insert tv series here) and... I was sad that I wasn't watching it with you"

You love it when he comes out with little things like that

he doesn't say these things out loud anywhere near as often as he thinks them

but you know he really cares about you

and there's no one you'd rather be on the phone to late at night

I'm back! I know I keep saying I am and then I'm not but since we're living in exceptional circumstances, I figured I could occupy myself with the blog again. Sorry to everyone that sent these requests like 2-3+ years ago, I am truly rubbish 😂

Anyways, I was scrolling through the requests and I figured this would be an appropriate scenario to make something out of. The late night talks are all phone calls since here in the UK we are on lockdown so I guess that made it easier for me to write.

Hey, Northshore! Welcome to a new section of the school newspaper. I've been fighting for a gossip blog for a hot minute now, and since the paper is dying down, Northshore is finally allowing it. 

But this isn't just any gossip blog.

This is the place where I'm gonna -try- to answer your most burning questions about Northshore couples in question.

All through anonymity and observation.

To start, let's meet the students. All names have been changed so identities can stay hidden. In the tinies we've got: J, A, and R. Then in the giants there is: D, C, G, K, and S.

Who's with who? Who hates who? Who's got some secrets under the surface? Come back next week.

"Full offense to Northshore, this sounds stupid as fuck." Janis huffed, tossing down the newspaper, letting it fall to the table. 

Karen looked at the small girl of Damian's shoulder.

"Why do you think?"

"Gossip blogs are unoriginal and boring. The school newspaper is grasping at straws."

"They can be fun when done right." Regina points out. "I say we check in next week and find out more about the students it's about."

"Whats-" Cady frowned. "What's a gossip blog?"

"Aww, baby's first gossip blog! We have to keep up with this one. Just for Cady." Damian said.

Karen watched with amusement as her friends discussed gossip blogs and if they were any good.

This will be fun. 

November 19th

Love the feedback from last week guys! You're all as hyped as I am. And no. I won't confirm who your suspicions are. Stop slipping notes under the computer lab door.

This week J and D were seen together. (It's not uncommon.) 

A was seen kissing C when they thought nobody was looking. But don't be fooled, somebody is always looking.

Not to be creepy or anything.

Just- we saw that, A. 

You won't spot R without K or G anywhere near them, don't know if any of them are dating though.

Development into J and D's relationship as D is seen defending J from S. Sources couldn't hear what they were saying but it sounded pretty hostile. Is it just caring friends or something a little more?

"Hence, the gossip part." Janis folder her own tiny newspaper, tossing it onto the cafeteria table from Damian's pocket. "And it's stupid."

"I wonder who it's about?" Gretchen said. "I know everything about everybody. But all this info? This is news to me."

"It's obviously about-" Karen paused. Was she the only one to figure it out?

Wasn't she the dumb one?

"Never mind. I dunno who it's about either."

"I don't understand why you care so much." Janis huffed.

"Because its fun to be nosey about lives that aren't ours. Duh." Regina said.

November, 26th

Happy Friday, Northshore!

Wow, lots of you sent in info about J and D. Whether you've cracked the code on who they are or maybe you're just observant of two fellow students- there is no denying they're pretty affectionate.

Since we're on the topic, let's start with J and D.

Kisses. Lots of them.

Romantic, or just friends? The duo themselves give pretty mixed answers so we must take matters into our own hands and draw our own conclusions. J was seen skipping class on multiple occasions and hiding with D. I hope J has a good tutor. I could never miss that much info.

R and G are seen together. K seems like they're third-wheeling. Somebody get them out of there. K, if you need a sos, slip a note in the box bby. We've got you.

If you want to talk about PDA, look no further than A and C. Wow! A hello kiss, a kiss kiss, a GOODBYE KISS? They may not say it themselves but those two are definitely a fairytale couple.

No updates to S. #singleforlife.

"Well, A and C just sound gross." Janis frowns.

"Don't be negative, Jan." Damian shakes his head at the girl on the table. "They sound cute."

"Overly cute." Cady says.

"I'm glad somebody agrees." Janis huffed.

"Poor K. Thridwheeling a couple is awful." Gretchen sympathizes.

"We don't know if R and G are dating." Aaron points out. "We don't know if any of these people are dating. I'm kinda hooked."

"Well, third-wheeling best friends is even worse." Cady sighs, glancing at Damian and Janis. 

Karen looked at the newspaper in her hands with a soft smile. She had a note to drop off.

December 3rd

Happppppy Friday! I have a big announcement right off the bat!

It is I, the writer, formally known as Anon. But now there's two of us! Me, the writer, and another student- the spy. Between the two of us (and your help from the box!) we're gonna crack these relationships open in no time!

This week's rundown!

R was with G the whole week. There was not one time they were separated. 

A, J, and R were seen in the tiny halls together where  A was overheard talking fondly about C.

Is there a fight for J?

D and S seem to never want to leave J alone.

Although, if you asked the writer, I'm totally team JD. Message for S? This isn't middle school anymore. Being mean to somebody isn't a good way to show your emotions. Message for D? You're doing fabulous, I'm rooting for you. Message for J? Pick fucking wisely. 

I'm a bit biased but my info is not.

"A and C don't." Janis shook her head. "To sappy."

"Is Jan warming up to the gossip blog? And forming opinions?" Damian teased.

Karen shook her head in disbelief. The fact that her friends were yet to catch on-

-they were dense. Not idiots, just dense.

"S sounds like an asshole." Gretchen shook her head. "Bet its a boy. Yknow when a boy would pull your hair in elementary school and you'd get told, oh boys will be boys. He just likes you! Yeah. S is a dude for sure."

"Not every boy was like that. I wasn't." Damian said.

"You're gay." Janis rolled her eyes. 

December 10th

Heyo Northshore! It's the writer. Might I say, you look wonderful today? 

I don't see you but I'm sure you're just stunning.

A must be p r e t t y stupid because they were seen all this week studying with C. A kiss for every problem right? Hey, it's not a bad deal.

R was seen primarily with K this week, throwing off all previous theories.

Must have been a rough week for J. I'd imagine you've got to be stressed as hell to just break down randomly but guess what- they did. Lack of sleep? Hunger? S? Who knows what the culprit was.

But don't you worry, D was quick to whisk them off to someplace quiet.

Love to see it, I want a significant other like that.

The day they confirm their relationship is the day I expect a wedding invite.

Karen's hand shot to her mouth as she covered a laugh with a forced cough. "Couple? You think they're together?"

"For sure. They sound made to be!"

December 17th

Winter break next week! Who's excited? We get full two weeks off this year and I'm so ready for a break.

I'll miss our resident couples in question though.

Not to throw everyone off but-

J spent the week with G. R spent the week with C. And A was with D?

Now granted by the time you're reading this print, this is two-week-old information- but why?

Did you get bored and just s w a p?

Anyway, I guess S wanted into the mix too? Because they took advantage of no D to try and get to J. It didn't work. G was there to protect our favorite JD ship. I'm not saying they're a cockblocker bc I don't wanna imply anything, but S is d e f i n it l y trying to get something out of J. Motive unclear but hey, we can assume :/

Gross.

Anyway, there were multiple fights that broke out that day so idk what yall were on but jesus christ calm down. Not relationship-related but be fucking nice to tineis.

Ugh.

K had no part in this swap of s/o but hey, they weren't third-wheeling anymore.

Right off the bat-

Uh. The box has been filled with messages from S saying, they do not like J. 

So I guess they're just an asshole.

Hey, just means team JD is gonna win.

Speaking of-

When J was asked directly they said that, I quote "D is the love of my life." But when asking D, I was told: "[J is] just a good friend". Sort your story idiots. The school wants to know!

While S may be out of the running, many sources say JC is a rising ship? Between A and C and J and C, I can't help but wonder, is there a behind the scenes JCA?

Fellow tiny students report A and J not being very close in the tiny hallways though. Now J and R tho-

J is just one lucky mate.

Janis stood up on Damian's shoulder, pressing a quick kiss to his jaw without motive. 

Karen turned back to her phone, unsurprised if that would pop up in next week's article. 

January 14th

This was quite the week for our "couples".

First off, D and J? PDA through the roof.

Idk, maybe it's a special week, or maybe we're paying more attention and they've always been like that.

Those tiny kisses aren't lost on me, J. I see all.

A and C are-

"Skip this passage," Janis whined. "Nobody cares about them."

Everyone around the lunch table nodded as Karen began to read out loud again.

G kissed R?! R might have given a scowl but bystanders didn't miss the blush. Platonic or something more? That's the big question of this article but hey- this is a big step for all you GR shippers. Sorry to whoever wrote that long letter in the box passionately explaining how JR was peak friends to enemies to lovers. 

Shame.

Cady nodded. "They're too cliche. It's annoying and I don't even know who they are."

Karen placed her head on the table with a groan.

She may not be smart, but these people were flat out idiots.

She felt a tug on her hair and looked up, resting her chin on the table.

"You okay, Karen?" Janis stood in front of her, Newspaper held at her side.

"Yeah, just dying on the inside a bit. Yknow, leaf emoji."

Janis made a face. "I don't but uh-" She leaned in, pressing a quick kiss to Karen's nose. "Don't leaf emoji. We like you here, alive on the inside."

Karen smiles. "Thanks, Janis." 

January 21st

Just when you think it's all figured out- J kisses K. 

In front of D.

At this point- they're all together. One big happy family. 

I'm still clinging onto my JD dream. 

Speaking off-

S is back. Did you miss them? Me neither.

They just grabbed J like nothing? Anyway, D was there to save the day obviously.

Our great big hero got a pretty precious nose kiss from J.  

I could make their own newspaper section about how cute they are. There is no way you can be that cute and n o t already engaged.

On another J note, if JD doesn't happen, I'd be pretty content with some CJ. C was seen giving J "a nice-sized smooch" (somebody from the box).

No development in the R and G category, just their usual cuteness.

"Uh uh. JD over CJ." Janis shook her head.

Karen just placed the newspaper in her bag. Janis and Damian were quick to become J and D's biggest shippers. They were so good at confusing the school about their relationship status that they had themselves fooled.

Cady and Aaron, who were dating and just won't confirm it, hated C and A's relationship. Calling it cheesy and artificially sweet.

And Regina though R sounded like a bitch and G deserved somebody better.

The whole thing was just crazy. 

"I gotta go talk to a teacher this period. It was fun reading the paper together though." Karen said getting up.

There was a chorus of 'bye Karen's as she walked away.

The newspaper holder in the hallways was empty. Northshore's 'couples' was quick to catch on and save the newspaper program. 

Karen pushed the door open to the computer lab, making her way over to the tiny end.

"Hey, Glen."

Glen Coco looked up at her with a grin. "Got anything for me, spy?"
