When at work - Lando Norris x UniStudent! Reader Part 2

Plot: Lando has known you since you were born, literally childhood friends. You went to every karting weekend with him until he started to travel more. As childhood lovers who have been dating for 8 years what happens when the general public find out about you?

You'd been taken home by an officer in his car. He'd attempted to calm you down offering to stop at a petrol forecourt and get you a snack to help you blood sugars come back up.

Apparently you looked ghostly pale.

After a Wispa chocolate bar and a Lucozade was brought for you, and you sat in the car just chatting they pulled out and went back onto driving you home.

Once you'd been dropped at the door of your place that you shared with Lando the officers asked you a final few questions. Just if you had good security systems, or someone to stay with you tonight so you weren't alone.

They also explained that you would no longer be safe working there, and even a transfer wouldn't be safe. They asked about your income and whether you'd be able to afford the loss.

Obviously you and Lando would have to talk to each other once he came back to the UK to see what you'd both do and if there was anyway Red Bull or McLaren would take you early as a work from home sort of offer until you graduated and could commit to the seasonal travel.

You shut the door after the officers left, making sure to lock it with the bolt. You sloppily chucked your keys into the dish that was on the cabinet in the entry way before hanging your coat up in the cupboard and kicking your shoes off.

You run straight up into the bedroom, the ensuite door was open and you trudged through staring at yourself in the mirror for a few seconds. Your mascara and eyeliner had run, and you resembled a Panda right now.

You jump into the shower, wanting to wash the days grot and smell of coffee beans and marzipan away. You make sure to wash of the makeup from your face before getting out the shower and wrapping a towel around your hair and body.

You start to go through your skincare routine, making sure to add your little yellow star pimple patch on at the end. You walk back down to the main room where you and Lando spent most of you time in the house.

You grabbed a large blanket from the hamper wrapping it around yourself before curling up on the sofa into yourself.

You sat there silently for a little while before the hot tears started to roll down your face.

You couldn't tell why you were getting so emotional over it. It was scary yes, but it was over now and the police had been very quick getting to the scene.

After 20 minutes of your own mind and a large nap, you woke around 2am. You felt awful knowing that you'd slept on the sofa and had missed dinner. You decided to make yourself a 'breakfast dinner' as you and Lando would sometimes call it depending on his sleep schedule.

You did some chores around the house, like the laundry from before Lando had gone to Australia and washed up the dishes you'd just used and changed the bed sheets. And finished off with some studying for some upcoming exams you had.

As the clock hit 5.30am you started to prepare yourself. You knew seeing Lando race would make you feel much better. You caught yourself up on positions using the F1 app to find out where Lando and Oscar would be starting. You made yourself a tea and got some of you favorite snacks before seating yourself up all comfy on the sofa.

Once you hear the 'It's lights out and away we go' all your worries seem to just melt. You keep your eyes on both the Papaya coloured cars. Only breaking away to message Lily, you had actually met her somehow before you met Oscar which was very strange but you hit it off immediately and would no stop text each other throughout races if you weren't together.

Lando ended up coming 6th, Oscar only a car between them in 8th. The Mclaren didn't have pace this year and you could really tell but both the boys were pushing it as hard as they could without breaking it and messing up their races.

And just like that, 2 days later, Lando was on his flight home. You'd prepared everything for him. Got food that you knew his trainer would approve of, but he would as well. You made sure that everything was perfect.

You drove to the airport in his car, you wanted to see him as soon as possible so picking him up seemed like the best option.

You got through security easily, Lando had phone ahead telling them to let you into the private part of the airport, not wanting to risk crowds around you again.

You waited for him, as he came through the door you couldn't help but run up to him, flinging your arms around him. He knew you well enough that he braced himself for your launching hug, being able to catch you and hold you up as you wrapped around him like a koala does to a tree.

"Baby i missed you so much" you sob, pushing your face into his hoodie covered neck as you cry into him. You hold him so tightly and he squeezes you back, whispering little things to you to get you to calm down.

You hear people walking around, you know its his team, taking his bags away so you didn't knock them over and just to help him in general.

"Okay baby, lets go home" he smiles and he keeps a hold of you sighing as you look at him with a pouty frown and a shake of you head.

"You don't want to go home? Then we cant cuddle on the sofa and have food" he smiles down at you. You let out a small huff before untangling your legs from around his waist before placing a dainty peck on his lips.

"Do you need help?" you politely ask the Mclaren worker, offering to take some of Lando's bags to which she thanks you shaking her head explaining that you didn't have to help.

"I parked the car not far. Airport security were very helpful!" you smiled taking his hand while dragging his suitcase in the other.

"Yeah I asked for them to come meet you. I didn't want a repeat of the other day" he frowns, and looks at you in the eyes. You knew what this meant, he'd want to talk about it the minute you got home.

The drive home was quiet but comfortable. He left a hand on your thigh as you concentrated on the driver back home.

"So, we should talk about why you felt in necessary to get a job" he says squeezing you leg lightly as he looks over at you.

"I- I didn't want to give the fans another reason to assume I'm leeching off of you. And i feel bad asking my mum and dad, like I'm supposed to be an independent adult ... I'm 22" you say sadly and you hear him sigh.

"Baby, 22 is still so so young and you shouldn't have all that pressure on yourself ... please" he begs.

"I've been talking to Zac and Christian about an opportunity i could do from home with them. Even Suzie reached out to me about F1 Academy" you explain, knowing you had options that didn't involve Lando and his finances.

"Baby, I know you don't want to be seen using me for my money, but holy shit you've got so much pressure on yourself right now. You don't need to add to it. I dont know how you did it for as long as you have been... how long did you work there?" he asks, having no clue how long you'd not told him you had a job for.

"About 3 months" you say, checking the wing mirrors before turning left down your road.

"3 MONTHS?" he asks in shock, you were nearly finished with university, surely you could have held out until graduation.

"Baby, you've only got like a month until you've finished all your exams and you'll join me!" he frowns, you pull up into the driveway with a sigh and a nod of acknowledgement.

"I know, i know! And I'm sorry i didn't ask for help and I'm sorry I didn't tell you I'd got a job" you say tears brimming your eyes before he pulls you into a hug over the gear stick.

"Oh, my sweet sweet girl. It's okay, I understand but please never ever feel like you cant ask for me to help you. That comes in the job description of boyfriend" he smiles at you, kissing your forehead making you melt at his touch.

This is what it felt like to be loved and cared for by Lando Norris.

A Marvel Family Fantasy AU

A few days ago, I randomly dreamt of Drawing Billy and Tawny in a fantasy setting.

Billy was this kid wizard and Tawny was his companion (or an animal to ride on like a horse)

Then it got me thinking, maybe in this setting, Mary could be someone of high status in this fantasy setting (since she's in a rich family in the golden age comics)

I'm inclined to think Freddy would be a captain of a ship for irony-sake but I have a feeling pirates and fantasy settings don't match well?

It's just funny for me to think of him with a peg leg xD

Maybe Billy and Mary were prince and princess separated by birth, (i'm not sure if its a kidnapping or the baby got lost on his own) but the wizard founded billy and trained him.

At the ripe age of (insert young age below a teenager's), The wizard decided to grant him the power of shazam to turn him into the world's mightiest Wizard!

Captain Marvel!

Wizard dies and then Billy and Tawny have adventures together, maybe helping people along the way (maybe somehow found out that Mary is his sister :p idk)

“ I think you could go angst if you made the wizard get brutally hurt in a battle to protect Billy and the rock of eternity so in a last ditch effort he transports the rock to its own pocket of existence and then giving Billy powers of shazam because its as ready as he'll be able to make the kid :) and it's his last effort for Billy to be protected even if he has to do so himself because he has failed :)) made Billy cry as Wizard turns into dust in Billy’s hands :)))”

How Billy Met Freddy

Billy probably met Freddy in a bar fight. How did the kid get into a bar?

Billy looked at the man exiting the pub with a bottle.

Billy: Ohh! So this is where you get refreshments here! I wonder If they have enough Milk for Tawny..

Cue him meeting Freddy (who's armwrestling with one of the people there)

(Insert Bar fight for some reason because The child decided to drink a white cocktail thinking it was milk and the fact that Billy is a Kid)

“Freddie is definitely that kid having his ass thrown out of the bar/pub/inn”

I'd like to think he and his brother are a team, prolly sailed a ship together.

“Yes, they target slave ships. Unless you wanna go different routes. Then, he is focused on certain nations' flags that have a whole lot of red in them

Also, he goes to the bars just to start bar fights over drunks being mean/nasty to the landlady. The landlady doesn't appreciate it bc now she has a broken table and four broken chairs”

Freddy faces the Captain Nazi equivalent of a pirate [Captain Arian? Like Aryan?] XD, Freddy lost his leg the same way, from his encounter with Captain Arian.

Kit (probably a necromancer or a ghost who's cursed to be bound in the ship Freddy's in, making Freddy more attached to the ship) can still summon crewmembers.

Maybe they both meet mary during the birthday ceremony parade

Maybe Mary snuck off from her family (disguise herself as a regular girl, i know, generic plot) and then meet Billy accidentally

Billy: It's my birthday today!

Mary: What a coincidence! It's mine too!

The-brash-spud: “Billy, in his innocence, thinks ,"There must be something to us sharing birthdays!" While Freddy calls him stupid, Billy tries to get a look at the princes and then cue the lung-fu panda rocket incident, but maybe something else more fitting with Freddy being pulled along”

On an unrelated note, i think Billy knew about Freddy's peg legafter either a pirate slashed it clean and Freddy just used it to bonk his head.

Billy is still screaming from the shock and immediately casted healing spells (i'd like to think everything about billy is lightning based- so yes getting struck by lightning is a healing spell for him :D) Freddy got shocked lmao

And what about boarding Tawny on the ship?

Billy:"Please???"

Freddy: "I'm not letting a tiger into my ship."

Kit who absolutely adores animals: "YES"

Freddy:"NO!”

Kit:" Does he love belly rubs??"

Billy:" yes but you have to ask him politely for his permission-”

Freddy rolled his eyes, realizing he has to clean cat fur everyday off from the furnitures.

How did Mary, a royalty tag along with a kid wizard and a pirate?

“Yeah, I guess forced separation would work better. Hell, go with a scenario that will allow them to have Mary with the parents' blessings as long as she's kept safe (she isn't, but that's because she is the danger herself)”

Mary and Billy: "Yay adventure"

Freddy: "Oh great, now I have to take care of two kids and a tiger in my ship!?"

Freddy: "...i guess it's alright..”

Você aterrissou no pequeno aeroporto da Grécia com o coração apertado de tristeza. Feliz porque sua irmã iria se casar com um partidão, mas triste, preocupada e ansiosa para reencontrar seu ex, Jeno. Vocês não tinham tido um término ruim ou hostil, mas, mesmo assim, estava com medo de revê-lo e sentir saudades. Não que fosse saudade especificamente dele. Jeno sempre fora incrível com você, o perfeito cavalheiro, mas nunca houve faíscas entre vocês. Achou que estava tudo bem com isso — afinal, nem todos os casais são fervorosos —, mas no instante em que sua irmã apresentou seu namorado, Jaemin, para o restante da família, com empolgação, sorrisos enfeitando os rostos e olhares prolongados um com o outro, percebeu que talvez houvesse algo de errado no relacionamento entre você e Jeno.

Afinal, você se contentava em vê-lo um dia na semana e não se importava em adiar o encontro para a semana seguinte se ele ou você tivessem coisas mais importantes para fazer. Nunca priorizavam um ao outro. Mas você não podia negar que ficou chocada quando ele decidiu terminar. Sempre teve medo do abandono, então gostava de abandonar primeiro, mas Lee foi mais rápido.

Infelizmente, Jeno era um dos amigos mais próximos de Jaemin e, portanto, um dos padrinhos. Obviamente, vocês não iriam entrar juntos graças à intervenção do seu cunhado e da sua irmã, mas, mesmo assim, teria que vê-lo todos os dias nas próximas duas semanas, e não suportava a ideia de agir como se estivesse pisando em ovos.

Seus olhos sempre quase se enchiam de lágrimas com o carinho que Na tinha com ela, entregando-lhe inúmeras garrafinhas de água, fazendo carinho nos seus cabelos e impedindo-a de colocar para fora todo o líquido ingerido e os petiscos de bar que você evitava tocar a todo custo.

Você olhou em volta. O aeroporto era estupidamente pequeno, não tinha como perder o cara ali. Depois de analisar, seus olhos pararam em um homem, cabelo escuro, bermuda branca e camiseta listrada, os fios ligeiramente bagunçados, como se tivesse acabado de acordar — e, considerando o horário, ele realmente deveria ter tirado uma soneca antes de vir te buscar.

Você caminhou até ele com sua mala rosa ridiculamente pesada. Felizmente, não se arrependera da escolha da meia fina e da saia curta. Achou que, pelo horário, passaria frio, mas estava ligeiramente abafado. Você conferiu seu hálito sem saber exatamente por quê, já que não estava acostumada com homens tão bonitos. Quer dizer, namorara Lee Jeno, mas isso foi há muito tempo. O celibato agora era seu fiel escudeiro, celibato de beijo e amasso, porque, felizmente ou não, ainda era intacta no quesito sexo.

— Oi, eu sou... — você começou.

— Donghyuck, mas pode me chamar de Hyuck. — Você não vai mover um dedo para me ajudar, Hyuck? — você questionou quando ele abriu o porta-malas e se escorou no carro, te olhando. Ele cruzou os braços, seus olhos pareciam sonolentos, mas não inteiramente. Ele bufou, revirou os olhos, mas não se mexeu.

— Vocês, mulheres, lutaram pelo direito ao voto por décadas. Acho que você consegue muito bem colocar essa mala no carro — Hyuck adentrou o carro, te deixando ali, pensativa, sobre como ele dissera algo tão sem sentido. Com algum esforço, você conseguiu colocar a mala no carro, contornou-o, abriu a porta e sentou-se no banco do passageiro com a cara amarrada.

— Quem você pensa que é, hein?

— Tive que acordar de um sono muito gostoso para vir te buscar, burguesinha. Então pode ficar quietinha nessa meia hora até o nosso destino, por obséquio? — Seu sangue ferveu nas veias e artérias. Odiava homens assim, que se achavam a última cervejinha do deserto. Mas, surpresa! Cerveja não mata a sede, só te deixa com ressaca e mais necessidade ainda de água nos rins.

— Claro, Donghyuck, vou ficar quietinha, como uma mulher tem que ser, né? — Foi a primeira coisa que você disse que o fez sorrir genuinamente, o que provocou algo incômodo dentro de você. Talvez por ele ser lindo, completamente seu tipo, com exceção da personalidade. Você já estava começando a pensar em como seria difícil atravessar o corredor com o braço encaixado no dele, ao mesmo tempo controlando a vontade de pisar no pé dele.

— Isso aí foi você quem disse — Você focalizou o olhar na janela, na paisagem linda que se desenrolava enquanto Hyuck conduzia o carro. O mar, as montanhas, tudo era indescritivelmente lindo. Graças a Deus, sua irmã era tão obcecada por Mamma Mia! quanto você e resolvera se casar em um cenário parecido na Grécia. E mesmo você tendo certeza de que as próximas duas semanas seriam cheias de implicâncias da parte de Donghyuck e de vergonha toda vez que topasse com Jeno, não podia negar que se sentia num conto de fadas, mesmo que não tivesse príncipe algum ao seu lado. Talvez Jaemin tivesse outro amigo atraente que não fosse um ogro igual a Hyuck.

Como você esperava, Donghyuck apenas deixou as portas do carro abertas para que você pegasse a mala e adentrou a residência que sua irmã havia alugado no Airbnb. De fato, parecia a casa/hotel da Donna de Mamma Mia! e você estava tão encantada com os detalhes que nem se importava mais com o peso da mala... Bom, até perceber que teria que subir um lance de escadas até o seu quarto no andar superior.

— Vai demorar muito aí, burguesinha?

— Você tá literalmente com um relógio da Cartier, Hyuck. Para de me chamar de burguesinha — você disse, enquanto tentava, em vão, erguer a mala um degrau acima. Donghyuck finalmente reagiu, pegou a mala pela alça e esbarrou em você para subir os degraus.

— Tá levando o quê aqui? Toda sua coleção de Barbie? — ele questionou. Você olhou para o braço que carregava a bagagem. As veias saltadas te deixaram com uma sensação estranha na barriga, a boca produzindo saliva mais do que o necessário.

— Vocês ainda estão acordados? — seu coração acelerou. Você conhecia aquela voz, conhecia aquele tom sonolento. Encontrara Lee Jeno, e não eram nem 6 horas da manhã. Você subiu um degrau, mais um, até alcançar Donghyuck quase no topo da escada, rezando para que ele não desse uma de Nazaré Tedesco e te empurrasse escada abaixo com o que você estava prestes a fazer. Num ato de completo desespero, você segurou as bochechas macias de Donghyuck e o beijou, meio descoordenada. Só não foi o pior beijo da sua vida porque esse prêmio estava reservado para seu primeiro beijo no ensino médio: muita língua, olhos meio abertos, o completo desastre.

Mas o fato de que Hyuck estava estático, sem movimentar os lábios, te deixou bem constrangida. Ainda assim, era melhor ser constrangida por um estranho do que por uma pessoa que você conhecia há anos. Quer dizer, na sua cabeça, aquela afirmação fazia sentido no presente momento.

— Jaemin, eu não aguento mais você de pegação com a sua noiva. É de dia e de noite, meu Deus — Jeno disse. Quando ele não falou mais nada, você se afastou de Donghyuck, que ainda mantinha os olhos fechados, estático, sem entender o que acontecia. Você engoliu em seco. Do jeito que ele parecia ser, podia explodir a qualquer momento, mas a luz da lua que entrava pelas janelas abertas te acalmava.

— Se vai me beijar, me beija direito, burguesinha — Você quase exclamou de susto quando Donghyuck desceu um degrau, te encurralou entre o próprio corpo e a parede, e te beijou. Beijou mesmo, tocando sua cintura e te envolvendo com uma intensidade que você não tinha experimentado com ninguém. Graças a Deus, você tinha colocado uma bala na boca no caminho até ali, parecia até que tudo tinha sido premeditado.

Seu corpo queimava por toda parte, suas mãos tímidas envolviam os cabelos da nuca dele, mas ambos deram um sobressalto quando a mala rolou escada abaixo, fazendo com que se separassem com o susto repentino.

Você olhou para Hyuck, os olhos cobertos por uma chama que te deixou meio apavorada, e se sentia apavorada também com as borboletas que ocupavam sua barriga, voando livremente.

Sem saber muito o que dizer, você fugiu, subiu os últimos degraus que faltavam para o segundo andar e se trancou em um quarto que tinha o seu nome numa plaquinha de madeira pendurada na maçaneta da porta. Tocou os lábios, meio desacreditada com o que tinha acontecido. Talvez fosse um sonho, um sonho maluco do qual você acordaria daqui a pouco, quando o despertador tocasse e revelasse que aquele era o momento de embarcar para a Grécia.

Mas quando você adormeceu na cama, cansada, sem a sua mala para trocar de roupa, e acordou na manhã seguinte com o sol batendo na sua cara devido à porta da varanda aberta, percebeu que nada daquilo tinha sido um sonho.

Donghyuck, Hyuck, mal sabia o nome dele, tinha te beijado como um príncipe de um conto de fadas.

The problem is you’re all very in love with your partner and stupidly spiritual and high. So, you believe that one of you will actually breakup. But Jungkook won’t let it be you two.

I've been wanting to get a little unserious with my writing and just be less strict. so, this is what this series is, you can still enjoy and not take it too seriously.

Warnings: it’s a black mirror typa vibe (I hope), crack, it’s almost as it they are all on drugs all the time, but who knows. it's impractical. Trying to destroy each other's relationship. Don’t read if you’re uptight and not open-minded. they're all very good friends. plotting, weed usage, they're all just free spirits. eventual smut (not as a group lol.) they are very spiritual (like astrology and that stuff but it's more of an internal thing and not talked about often.) time skips.

It all started as a joke. You and May laughed that you’d dress in those inflated cow costumes to the come as your spirit animal party this weekend. It was a funny idea, a great idea honestly, but you weren’t gonna do it right? It’d be too hard to move in or enjoy drinks in. You’d barely be able to see where you were going. It’s honestly unreasonable.

That’s until you too got high and found yourselves on amazon. Your cart full with what was needed and next thing a box on your front door.

“there’s no way I’m wearing this outside sober.” May declares, her hands on her waist, as much as the suit can allow.

You grin popping your head out of the suit, “who said anything about sober.”

And now you stand on the road staring at the door of the party like it’s the gates of hell. Already high and starting to get hot in the suit.

Looking down trying to arrange her udders May speaks, “They said come as your spirit animal, right?” she asks and you nod —well try to.

“I look like a farm animal, but I also feel like a genius.” You express popping your head out of the neck hole.

Compared to the other girls who wear skimpy and barely ass covering cat or bunny costume, you are certainly some form of over dressed. The only thing you share in common with them is that you both won’t be able to bend over.

Walking to the door is another struggle. You take slow steps but no matter how slow you are the squeaky and whooshing sounds don’t seize. Neither to the stares and whispers.

“We should’ve just gone with a panda jumpsuit. It's more... normal.” You say as it takes an eternity to reach the door.

May glances over at a couple who stare at both of you. "Normal? Y/N, you can’t be a normal spirit animal at a ‘Come as Your Spirit Animal’ party. You have to make a statement."

A group walks by, and one girl dressed as a mermaid with a tiny turquoise sequence skirt as a tail stops and stares, mouth slightly agape.

"Uh... are you... cows?" the girl blinks slowly staring at you in horror and awe.

You and May stare at each other confused. “Us? Nooo.” after, she walks away seemingly offended May turns to you.

“Like she couldn’t tell.” You both laugh.

As the night went on there’s only so much you could get done. You tried dancing but it was a failure. The space on the dancefloor already stuffed as it is, so your costumes only made it much more comfortable. And as it got hotter you decided to take your air-filled bodies to the bar, where you struggle to sit but eventually succeed.

As you sit back faced to the crowd chatting you don’t notice the two dinosaurs in the corner taking shots. Just as high.

Your costumes are probably hell for anyone who's deadly high.

Jungkook is rocking a T. rex suit, the enormous head swinging as he tries to adjust, his arms stiff and useless in the dino suit. Taehyung, on the other hand, is dressed as a velociraptor, the costume so big it looks like he's about to topple over.

“is this what it feels like to be a pool floaty?” jungkook exclaims trying to fix his head. "Honestly, I’m just waiting for someone to get too close and accidentally deflate us. One wrong step, and whoosh—we’re both flat as pancakes." He adds trying to move his hands, which is a waste.

“honestly I’m waiting to leave.” Taehyung says though he looks like he’s enjoying himself.

You and May get sick of sitting at the bar and try to give dancing another chance. That’s when you spot them.

“No way.” you exclaim and it pulls your friend’s attention to you. “are you serious?”

“what?” she asks and that’s when you pull her attention to what you’re staring at. "No way. Dinosaur spirit animals?"

“we should go say hi.”

And you do. It’s not long before Taehyung and jungkook are staring at you and laughing. You both compliment each other costumes and laugh about the concept behind it. which none of you have. It’s just for the fun of it.

It’s not long when you both decide to ditch the party and go out, and take off the top of your costumes, to finally see each other’s faces. And to say it plainly you thought jungkook’s the hottest person you’ve ever seen, Taehyung is too but he’s more of may’s type.

He too thought you were really attractive, not expecting you to be dressed as you were.

The backyard of the party was quieter than the madness inside, and the fresh night air felt like a small escape from the chaos of the inflatable costumes and stares.

"This is way better than the mess we just walked through." May says blowing out a puff of smoke.

You snicker and lean back against the fence, feeling the cool breeze hit your sweaty face. "Honestly, I thought this party would be a disaster, but now I’m just... trying to enjoy my life as a cow." You glance up at the stars.

Jungkook, still dressed in his T. rex suit, takes a hit from his joint and exhales slowly. He tries to look cool, but the giant head of the dinosaur costume keeps wobbling and makes him look like he's having a hard time holding it together.

"Man, I thought my arms were going to fall off in there. This dino suit is like a prison." He says letting out an exaggerated sigh.

Taehyung laughs clearly not bothered by his own inflatable suit. “honestly didn’t think we’d make it this far. Might just live like this forever.”

Mae and you exchange a glance, both of you stifling laughter as you watch Jungkook try to lift his arm to take another hit.

"Is that even possible for you? You look like a broken windmill trying to get that joint." Mae says eyeing his stiff T.rex arms.

Jungkook gives a dramatic sigh, his T. rex head bobbing, looking like it's about to detach from his body. "This is why dinosaurs went extinct. No thumbs. You can’t even light a cigarette with these things." He deadpans.

Taehyung, who’s looking completely chill despite being in the velociraptor suit, passes the joint to Mae, who takes another hit and hands it to you. You take the joint from her, feeling like you’re moving through molasses in the cow suit, but it’s all worth it. The smoke is relaxing, the night feels a little less chaotic.

“I just realized this is our only night to enjoy being animals.” you say mind as far as the moon.

Taehyung squints thoughtfully, as if he’s deeply pondering your words, “we are animals. Animls smoking weed.”

You all laugh.

"I’m a T. rex. You're a velociraptor. Mae’s a... cow? And Y/N’s... well, I can’t even tell what animal you are, but I’m pretty sure it’s from the same family." Jungkook tries to tease you.

It’s funny how comfortable you feel with them as though you haven’t just met.

You raise a brow feigning offence, "What are you trying to say? You’re just mad I look better than you in a cow suit. And my arms actually work."

Mae snickers and nudges you, clearly enjoying the teasing. Jungkook scoffs dramatically, waving his T. rex arms in frustration. “Listen, I’m just saying, my costume has more class than whatever inflatable farm animal you’ve got on."

You roll your eyes and Taehyung laughs, "Hey, you know, there’s a certain majesty to cows. They’re... elegant. They just choose to walk slow. They're wise."

May follows up in a mock serious tone. "Finally, someone gets it! I'm a wise cow. A wise cow, not just a random inflatable farm animal."

Everyone laughs, and for a moment, the chaos of the party and the ridiculousness of your costumes fades away. It’s just the four of you, a few joints, and a shared sense of friendship in your inflatable suits.

Taking another drag, Taehyung’s voice comes out slower and more thoughtful, "Imagine if this was actually our spirit animal. Like... we’ve been searching for meaning in life, and then it just hits us. We're all giant inflatable animals, trying to get through the party without popping."

And staring off into the distance jungkook releases a dramatic sigh, "I think that’s the most profound thing I’ve ever heard."

Mae, always ready to turn anything into a joke, bursts out laughing. "We’re just inflatable beacons of wisdom. That’s our true spirit animal."

After the laughter dies down you speak up, "Honestly, this might be the most fun I’ve had in years."

Kung Fu Panda 4 Thoughts/Liveblog Thing

Just caught this at the theater for a grand total of five whole dollars, so I thought I'd do some quick opinions while it's fresh.

Non-spoiler opinion: It was Okay(TM), but the movies were considerably stronger as a trilogy. It's worth seeing one (1) time if you're a KFP fan (and really, who isn't), but I wouldn't bother paying full price for it or anything

SPOILERS FOR ALL 4 MOVIES UNDER THE CUT:

A list of things that slap:

The animation is stunning and fast-paced. Really loved the use of Chinese-style paint brush strokes to accentuate the action

Also I'll talk about the 5 later but I also really liked the animation change when describing where they are—all KFP movies have at least one animation shift and I'm glad this one kept up with it

Some of the fight scenes were super good, I liked the one that uses the tilting bar on a cliff in particular

(side note: the Missing Link did something similar, just on a ship. Go watch the Missing Link)

The Chameleon served straight cunt the entire time she was on screen and I kind of loved (almost) everything about her. Character design was incredible, voice was perfect, palace design was amazing, abilities were sick

Also the way she rides up chilling in a golden tree branch of all things? Fellas, we have no choice but to stan

Also I just appreciate the choice to both do a female villain for a change and to get a reptile in here after having only mammals and one (1) bird as villains previously

Speaking of character design there were a few really good ones in there, like a pangolin that moves Sonic the Hedgehog-style, a cool looking female boar, and a bunch of Komodo dragon henchmen. Good stuff

The jokes were a very mixed bag for me, some hit and some didn't. I will say that Zhen just going "that's great for you" in response to Shifu stating he's a red panda got me for some reason

If anyone hurts Po's gay dads I'm killing everyone in this room and then myself

Jack Black's cover of Baby One (1) More Time is unironically better than the original

A list of things that Do Not Slap:

Pacing/Plot:

This movie lacked a color scheme? KFP 1 was blue (also some gold), KFP 2 was red, KFP 3 was green. These colors weren't subtle either, there are entire scenes in each movie drenched in these colors and it was really obviously missing here

The whole first half the movie feels really breathless and too fast-paced. Apparently it was a studio mandate to have it not go over an hour and a half which is A) stupid and B) hurts the pacing

As much as I love Po's two gay dads we REALLY should not have been wasting time on their journey when the runtime is so tight

Also them tagging along felt off? Mr. Ping was worried sick about Po in KFP 2 but he doesn't tag alone because obviously he needs to let his son have his space. It's more in-character with Li Shan but it doesn't come across like he's talking Mr. Ping into it or something

In general there are so many plot points in this movie that feel under-developed. You could've made an entire movie out of the previous villains returning, Zhen and the Chameleon's relationship (see below), etc.

Po's Character:

People not knowing Po is the dragon warrior is weird, I'm pretty sure he would've been more well known than that

The entire thing with Po needing to give up his role as the Dragon Warrior doesn't really make sense? The Dragon Warrior is literally a made-up title. There's no need to have a Dragon Warrior because there is no such thing technically, it's why Oogway denied Tai Lung the title and then waited years and years to give it to Po. Like it's not a role that needs to be passed down, that's missing the entire point of the Everything

Also Po's only been like Dragon Warrior for a few years? I don't think we're ever given a time scale but it wasn't that long

The jokes about Shifu and Po having trouble with inner peace/mediating feels off given that was the entire plot of the second movie

It felt like Po regressed a bit character wise. He acts like he has no idea how to be a teacher in this movie but he already was a teacher by the end of the third, that was the entire point??

Also he seemed like he was more gullible in this movie but I could be wrong

Why is Po so impressed with Juniper city. He literally spent most of KFP 2 in Gongmen hello?? I think(?) Juniper is bigger but he shouldn't be acting like he has no idea what a city is

Zhen/Chameleon:

Zhen's character design doesn't match anything else, which is weird because most of the new characters in this film keep the distinct style in some form or another

Her wanted poster shows her with the bold markings KFP is known for and it looks SO much better

The plot twist with Zhen working for the villain was so obvious I did not realize it was supposed to be a twist at first

Also, the entire thing with Zhen was entirely unneeded? The Chameleon could've just just stood up and announced her plan to take over and Po would've shown up on her doorstep with the staff

I guess the idea is that Po needed to hand over the staff willingly for it to work? But if that's the case the Chameleon could've just impersonated Tigress or something and gotten it that way in like 1/3 of the time

Originally she was supposed to have kidnapped Shifu which would've been a much better plot point as it would've given Po extra motivation

The other problem with treating Zhen as a plot twist is that it hampers the relationship she has with the Chameleon effectively being her mom, which is FASCINATING. They had some really interesting chemistry together (the whole "stand up straight" thing as one example) and I could've seen it as a Mother Gospel from Tangled kind of deal, but we barely get any interaction between the two and it's like AAAAAAA

Fanfic writers fix this shit. I believe in you

I'll have to chew on it more but my pacing thought would actually be to start with Po finding out about the Chameleon's "take over everything" plan very early due to Shifu's kidnapping. He breaks into the lair like at the 1/3 mark or earlier and he meets Zhen inside which then leads into why she's doing what she's doing and the mother angle, etc etc blah blah

The Chameleon needed to just straight-up murder someone, comically shoving them down the stairs isn't good enough. I know stairs are Po's greatest enemy but I don't think that applies to everyone

Shen was allowed to stab someone on-screen so I think the Chameleon should be a allowed to strangle someone or something. as a treat

If violence was the concern just keep it off-screen like Master Rhino's death in KFP 2

The shapeshifter turning into a giant monster trope is overrated and I'm glad it was just used briefly here and not even for her defeat

Also the Chameleon's thing with her being rejected from Kung Fu because she's too small makes no sense b/c Mantis, which I'm pretty sure everyone's pointed out already. She does say "lowly" I think but was she ever poor? Could make a very interested parallel to Zhen if that was the case but it was never brought up again

I've heard some argue body image parallels w/ Po in KFP 1 but if that was the intent it's not explored, like, at all, which is a shame because it could've been an interesting angle

Also If they wanted a better excuse related to body image just say she was too frail instead of too small. I haven't owned chameleons but I've heard from people who have that they are very frail and very hard to keep alive, which would be a much better reason to turn her away

Cameos:

Yes I'm devoting an entire section to five second cameos don't judge me

I have mixed feelings on the Five not being present (save for the end cameos). On the one hand they are sorely missed but on the other hand they would've just made the plot bloat even worse

Lack of speaking was also bothersome. Part of me is glad they weren't recast with cheaper VAs because it's disrespectful to interchange them, but on the other hand that might've been better than just not having them speak and not paying anyone anyway

Tai Lung had all the best lines and was also the best used out of all the cameos, even if it would've been nice to have him on screen for longer. Also if they stuck with Shifu being kidnapped those two could've had some much-needed dialogue

Side note, while I don't think it contradicts anything from KFP 3 the spirit world having only kung fu masters in it feels off? It makes it seem so small and limited

Kai being there is weird. He's like. dead dead. Deader than dead. I guess you could argue that you can't kill something that's already dead but there's nothing even acknowledging this

Trying to take Shen's kung fu is really weird because the entire point of the fight with Master Rhino in KFP 2 is that he is not? a master?? like he's GOOD but he's not amazing, like if a master is like a 10/10 he's like an 8/10.

"The Chameleon has the powers of all my old nemesises!" WHAT'S SHEN'S POWER EXACTLY. HIS ONLY POWERS ARE GUN AND MOMMY/DADDY ISSUES

She does summon him way later than Tai Lung and Kai so maybe she was just camp spawning every single person she could think of regardless of skill level? she also uses his wings at one point so maybe she just wanted those, I don't think(?) there were other birds summoned

Though speaking of which she claimed she was using his wings but very clearly wasn't? not only were they black but they were raggedy and lacked the five longer feathers on the tips

Also Shen's model was super off, it looked way too fluffy and like an entire row of eyespots were missing from the edge of the train (which might have been a clipping error? unsure) it's been said the new models were made out of glue and popsical sticks and I believe it

Tai Lung has a habit of just like Grabbing anyone that's smaller than him and it amuses me

It's honestly really weird that everyone would just agree to go back into the spirit world willingly?

Like I think it works for Tai Lung because he's a noble person who just goes into a disassociative state and commits atrocities. Like I think he'd be willing to accept his death

Also it checks out for Shen because he killed himself and given his "dead belong in the past" mentality I can't imagine him wanting to stick around, he'd probably think it was unnatural

But Kai?? Kai was FURIOUS at being dragged back into the spirit world at the end of 3, like hell he'd just go quietly

Also I can see Tai Lung maybe respecting Po enough to bow to him but everyone else is pushing it unless they have therapists in the spirit world. Po offered Shen some nice advice at the end of KFP 2 and his response was to kill himself on the spot, I don't think him or Kai would be bowing

All of them were definitely in the middle of a mahjong match and were experiencing the equivalent of being woken up in the middle of a nap so they were just going along with things

Chameleon: I'm going to steal your kung fu

I did like some of the more subtle callbacks. Stuff like Po seeing his reflection in the blade the way Shifu did or the "I can't even beat you to the stairs" scene were nice and not overly overt or in-your-face

If Po actively refers to himself as the "Kung Fu Panda" one more time I'm going to end it all

First times in a relationship's can be scary especially if everytime you've had sexual contact, it wasn't filled with love you so desperately craved

Husk and angel had formed a friendship after their bonding near the bar that night, it was clear to everyone that there was more than friendship between the two and after awhile they made their attraction be known and a loving relationship blossomed between them but they promised to never let this relationship out the hotel to reach the ears of Valentino, angels boss. Many months has passed since they made it official and they found themselves at the 8 month mark, husk being the awkward romantic he is, he wanted it to be something immensely special for angel just to show how much he genuinely loved him.. Husk examined the stores down the pathways of the somewhat busy area but no matter how hard he searched all he could find was bondage stores, lingerie stores ect; and he didn't want that, he didn't want angel to think he was just like all the rest of the men he had to deal with and additionally, husk wasn't a big.. sex fiend.. sure he got urges but he had boundaries and the thought of leather wear and overly threatening sex felt disgusting to him, so he despised these types of stores..eventually after a long day of trying to search he sighed, he'd been to every ring, even the lust ring, but still he hasn't found what he felt was right for angel, what was he supposed to get for someone that gorgeous? He was down on his luck til he heard two strangers talking down the sidewalk as if they were married and raised his head to look at the imps. One imp had black hair, 'a girl' he noted absent-mindedly, and the other imp had white hair, 'a guy'." 'excuse me? Sorry, I don't mean to listen in on you folks but am I right to assume you're both..?" "Together? Yea we're married' the white haired imp spoke, his voice kind of scratchy that made husks ears twitch ever so slightly, 'great! I need help, me and my boyfriends 8 month mark is comin' up and I can't find anything romantic.. everywhere I look it's just.. sex novels or over-the-top sexual stores.'

The black haired imp girl spoke excitedly, her southern accent bounced off of her husband's demeanor like a bouncy-ball on a whiteboard "Well hi thereee! You're alright to ask, sugar —"

"I'd suggest checkin' out LooLoo Land stores! Even though its a theme park they have the gosh darnedest cutest things, my mox got me a thang from there!' 'christ' husk thought to himself, already he formed a headache solely because of her loud voice but despite it, he thanked her, she was kind enough to help "thanks" *his deep voice grumbled but his expression was as if he were genuinely trying to force an awkward smile and eventually they changed paths and husk found himself on the way to the infamous looloo land, loud blaring music and the sound of kids screaming and crying made husk furrow his brows and groan but it was worth it to find something angel could love..perhaps after an hour of searching he found it.. a stand filled with stuffed animals and one caught his eye immediately.. a white bear with crossed out red eyes stitched in along with round red cheeks at each side of its smile,

he knew it'd be beyond perfect for his angel and he threw a coin at the stand-man, a determined look plastered on his face. Husk picked up the toy-gun and shot water at the wooden stands. No matter the amount of times he hit them though, the standman rigged the game and after draining his coin pocket dry, Husk had enough and tackled the man. Pulling him close by the collar and holding a sharp claw up to his neck. "Give me the fuckin' bear." He growled, and while he would usually never lose his composure, he was not going to let that bear be dangled in front of him. Feeling the man shudder with a nod, he backed away to let him grab his prize; the bear and his money back in full. He loved it, the texture of the bear and the way it felt on his fur made him know Angel would adore it. A proud look made its way to his face subtly and he walked out of the park happily, believing that to be enough from LooLoo land today. he deserved everything. Angel deserved the universe, in Husk's eyes and as he walked, he found his eyes gravitating towards a jumper on the way back home. It was beautiful; the jumper was white with flowers trailing up the sleeves in pink stitching and a heart cutout on the chest and on the back. It looked as if it was made for Angel, with a lighter wallet and a newfound bag in his claws, along with a bouquet of Devil-Eye flowers (Mammon Special!) he made his way back home. Husk smiled as he walked through those hotel doors and stood in front of sir pentiouses big portrait on the wall and sighed. "Wish me luck, buddy." he muttered as he made his way to the second floor of the hotel and faced the door of Angel's room, staring at the picture of his boyfriend and their friends. It made Husk's heart melt and his fur grow hot at the beauty of Angel. with courage that took a few minutes to tame, he twisted the doorknob and opened it to see his Angel sitting with a book in his top hands. He cleared his throat lowly and watched as Angel perked up and smiled, "Whiska's! Ya made it!" he said In disbelief

He knew Husk was genuine, but a part of him still doubted he'd show up for their 8th month. He was pleasingly surprised to be wrong as he pecked both sides of Husk's face and massaged his fingers into his cheek fluff and slid them up to scratch behind his ears; causing Husk to purr and melt lovingly into his touch and for his leg to ever so slightly start thumping "ah what's this then husky, this fa' mee?" Angel said teasingly, his tone joking to ready himself to be wrong. Angel couldn't believe it, he nervously took the gifts and smiled at the bouquet 'husk' he spoke 'i don't know what ta' say..' his voice seemed much softer as he sat down in his bed, the silk curtains draped up and the pink lighting above set such a pretty tone to the scene.. he placed the flowers down against his bedside table before taking a look at the jumper, sliding straight into it and it fit so perfectly. Husk could barely believe his eyes, all four arms fit so perfectly and angel suited it so well, it made husk feel hot N heavy, his cheeks slightly pink tinted 'i knew you'd like it ange' " he smiled softly just before angels tears slipped, his hand covering one side of his face to wipe his tears.. husk didn't know how to respond, 'aye what's wrong ange'.. do you not like it? I can take it bac-" "no!- no I love it I just.. didn't.. expect it' he admitted with a smile.. the two of his arms connected to his waist wrapped around himself like a self hug.. his heart was racing and in that moment husk was the only one he cared for, the only one he ever wanted to be with and die with.. he placed a kiss against husks lips, but it was soft, like their lips had barley even touched.. and before he could respond again he made contact with the bear husk had 'won' for him and got ecstatic "huska' it looks like me' awh you big-' he immediately wrapped his arms around husk and buried his cheek into his head, his fingertips stroking his cheek.. Husk laughed and held angels back to pull him closer, like this hug wasn't enough contact for him.. in the moment it's like a piece of a puzzle finally clicked and he took a deep breath, pulling away and holding one of angels hand 'i.. want.. you to know I'm ready' he smiled and this confused angel, 'ready fa' what huskie..' he responded like his heart dropped to his stomach 'to be intimate with you' he whispered, his eyes drifting up to meet angels gaze 'oh.. huska' don't force ya'self for lil ol' me.. I can wai-" "no, I want this.. I want you but I don't know.. what, I'm doing.. I'm scared I'll embarrass myself y'know' he sighed as he traced his fingers through his hair to push it back, a huff leaving his lips and his eyelashes fluttering shut to avoid angels stare 'aright then but.. I.. can help, we all start somewhere yaknow?'

It'd been awhile since husk had been intimate with anyone, the last time he did he was alive and walking earth, but this felt so different because he WANTED to be perfect for angel.. so he smiled and took his boyfriends hands, and kissing him, a passionate, gentle kiss that burned straight through with not just love but lust too, for once angel felt genuinely... 1.1 9 years old, tv show, but not bad in animation quality (at least from the . definitely themes that the last wish touch on as well (of course that'll be the strongest point of comparison). love that the fight in episode 1 ends with a massive bluff "i can't defeat all of you, but i can defeat one. so which one of you will die?"

1.2 travel through different horrific lands. "yes, my friend, this is going to suck". the kingdom of darkness: just a dark screen a noises of people stumbling, and then doing it multiple times. the humour is spot on. that's a damn cool sphinx design, and telling us something about the character while not being overly obvious while in 3d show based on a movie? now that's surprising. sad that she's not in the next one, probably never to return, which makes the quality of design even more surprising.

1.3 you know, it takes some skill to make a funny "i hate my wife" joke, but they pulled it of. "i can never say no to a woman" "please pay your bar tab" "no" have i pointed out that this show nails the humour yet? puss vs ninja's? funny. but apparently not enough. puss vs teenage overly buff ninja pigs? now we're talking. also this show loves being dark in it's humour. how how the mean lady is apparently often crying. i wonder if that'll ever get depth, or is ever mentioned again instead of just being one dark joke.

1.4 "what's it like inside your head?" "wet and bloody".... i mean you're not wrong. at this point i'm just trying to convince people to watch the show because the humour is great. "it's not scary, it's just a bag stuffed with old dolls' heads" so many blink and you'll miss it jokes. why does dismemberment follow me everywhere? seriously what the fuck is up with that? why is it suddenly everywhere? at least it's clean and well cared for. this old guy be horny, in a kidshow. how is this a 2015 show? "you are crazy. but this is not new information" "nope". also recurring villain maybe?

1.5 standard episode: life here is too boring and an interesting old friend comes to steal the hero, but turns out to be a villain. will they play it straight (probably, he's designed as a villain), or will they do something more interesting. way too deep a thought for a short scene: so the orphanage is putting on a fake adventure, the costunes are brought out, and the buys very shortly argue over who gets to be a princess, until it's revealed that everyone who wants to can be a princess. here's what makes it so interesting: there is no joke outside of "the intrinsic funniness of buys wanting to be princesses". now while this could of course be setup for transphobic jokes later this honestly feels like it's just scene setting, just quaint town life, and the opposite of transphobic. i'm sure we won't see a trans character in this show (probably the closest being a queer coded villain) but this is nice. a simple message that everyone gets to be a princess if they want. again very cool monster design. like i want to steal this for my dnd game good. kind of a giant geko with a huge mouth and a lure like some fish have but with a fake pretty lady looking thing instead. my point of comparison is the kong-fu panda tv show which has the issue that it was extremely limited to always using the same assets. this show keeps bringing out amazing new designs every episode so far. also the message is damn strong. also neat that the standard plot was only really plot setup, it's never actually part of the plot, it never really comes into play. and for a boring plot now following up can be the best thing. the joke is that everyone wanted to be a princes. nothing about gender, just everyone wanted to be the same thing, nice. seriously, how come i never heard anything of this show? 2015. i'm pretty sure i watched some cartoons in 2015. did it never make it's way on dutch tv? i mean i've also never seen anyone talk about it online, something i think i'll have to correct at some point.

1.6 softpaws? nope, just a black cat. also the return of the sphinx which makes me happy. interesting that we get the more visually interesting sphinx sister first. so i've been watching a lot of TBSkyen and now want to kind of do a visual interpretation video like he often does on these two sisters. how the firsts inks and piercings make her read kind of Egyptian, alongside the naked cat stylings, while also indicating individuality and complexity, and how the lack of those in her sister suggests that she's simpler, which is true. one tells riddles, the other just tries to kill you. fuck why is this show so full of great dnd ideas. many magical fountains, each with different effects, like reverse gravity, talking backwards, and needing to say a word to undo it, which is hard with talking backwards, or induces fall damage after falling upwards for a while. fuck it, list time: fountain of invisible spiders, fountain of nausea, fountain of fire, fountain of itchy feet, just a regular fountain.

1.7 this serious continues to confuse me in a positive way in not making transphobic jokes. girly scream from the cowardly mayor? ok, that's prime setup right? sure, but they don't make the joke, it's just a scream that doesn't match the character design, but that's part of the general joke of the character: he's a coward who often hides in a barrel, but he's a huge buff dude who wouldn't even fit in the barrel. you get what i mean? puss doesn't burst in saying "i'll save you my lady" and then haha is a dude. he just bursts in to save someone. another standard plot: convince someone they are brave by pretending they defeat something, they they get overconfident and find real trouble and learn to reign it in or fully return to the status quo, wonder how they'll do it. damn, they did the getting too confident straight, but put enough good jokes in the scene to not make it awkward (hard to avoid), not to see if they can do the rest well. making Dulcinea (the female polite cat) do it because puss is too tired helps. "it's ok buddy, i'll read it to you" "you're a cute friend" subversion of expectation and cute as fuck, these are the joke i love. oh no, the man travels with a shadow over his face in spite of physics, he's definitely evil. surprisingly polite to those he thinks unwell though. and the standard plot continues. going with the "hopes and dreams dashed, but then shows bravery for reals". yep that's basically exactly what they did, with one funny in concept but sadly meh in execution fightscene. this isn't an episode you watch for the end, you watch for the jokes which are amazing.

1.8 human shrek is on the cover of the romance novel. blink and you'll miss it and i love it. oh no, puss ate xanathar's fish, and is now hunted by a Sinnamon smelling golem. this is so stupid in the best way. classic way for things to gain a soul too, it's neat. and damn does it make for a neat episode.

1.9 "let me gaze upon your golden booty" "i am uncomfortable" yes i'm still trying to get you to watch the show. oh a dust devil, neat. and that it's a demon is accurate to how people used to think about them (to my knowledge the origin of djinn). i think that was the first reuse of an asset i noticed (if you ignore the bandits): a sceptre that was broken in a previous episode. this is not a negative, just impressive that it took this long to use the same asset for a similar thing. also love that Dulcinea's arc so far is getting angry, but not like in a bad way.

1.10 excalibur? ok, this is an interesting take. generally not the angle of a reluctant hero (fun dnd PC backstory?). and the classic puss being pretty lost when he can't be the hero... starts to feel a bit overdone, but how many things can you do with him? also the animation touches are very nice. is this a story about cheating? because it sounds like a story about cheating, and with someone not getting over their ex. also this episode has some crazy good action. also this sword has a problem with asparagus.

1.11 uhm, that's not what sphynx looks like. where are her inks and piercings? did they accidentally use the wrong model? "well, technically medicine is the best medicine, but laughter is cheaper". wait what!? the cow barlady used to be an assassin?! also is this an episode about racism? like this could turn sour quickly. also what i think is clever but also semi noticeable is a cost cutting measure (honestly i've been noticing it for a while): if things don't move they aren't actually rendered in 3d, instead a single render is made of them and then it's a flat image that animation is rendered on top of. now this makes total sense to do: it's a lot less rendering so everything will be faster, which is a necessity if it's a tv show with tv show budget with 15 episodes. it allows for backgrounds that are relatively detailed unlike other 3d shows which are very often very plain. but if things look slightly off to you this may be why. damn, mature talk about wanting to do things but not doing it. this show is crazy. also damn that's one evil mouse. at least the sphynx petrified is the correct model.

1.12 that's just a god damn goblin. like literally called a goblin. and visually think dnd goblin... wild. also this is just about racism. mostly a pretty standard episode, but pusses unwavering belief is nice. and if a new person joins the cast that would make it even better.

1.13 earlier today episode? can always be fun. oh, Dulcinea gets to have puss' standard problem: feeling like he's no longer needed, and thus no longer him, thus problem. "i'll even write all of the stories myself. i will use all of the words. so many words!" and suddenly puss is talking like fucking trump. when puss thinks Dulcinea may be in legal troubles he'll immediately start helping her out, because pull aint no snitch lol. well now this episode conflicts with the last wish. Puss being against wishing stars here but going after it then? well, there is of course desperation

1.14 mother Mary the cat? so it'll be a puss' pride episode. the episode didn't have any big fightscenes, so instead the focus was put on the final dance. odd, but really fun.

1.15 a curse of bad luck turning puss into a black cat, that's just neat. wild that i had nothing more to say about it despite it being the last episode of season 1. oh well, on to season 2 i guess.

'One Epilogue Episode' likely gotta be the episode 170 - which uploaded after the wrap up of everything till ep 169. There's so many 'loose ends of plot points along the way' outside the Pastel Palace like: What does Nell see in her vision? What Isolde cooks in Plaid Kingdom? Does the unnamed elderly foot guard that wants to opening up the limoncello gotta be important like deus ex machina? How Jack reacts after seeing everything - and will he brings the Omniscient Clam? The future of relationships between Pastel and Plaid kingdom - especially Gwen and Frederick? What happened to the CPC as the entirety, as they're bursting in the Pastel Palace should already shows 'abnormal' they are to melts the iron barred door etc?

OEE could be anything but I feel it's likely gotta be timeskip - for how long? I somehow can't imagine for years (if that's the case we get Gwen and Frederick wedding, but I feel that's too soon and likely happen later as not in OEE) but in shorter time as the following:

Days: that means the wrap-up and cleaning up of Plaid mess -> we have Jack's reaction properly as his bubble burst out horribly with the worst betrayal by Leland

Weeks: the clean up is already done, then season changes to the winter and everything finally 'return to normalcy and peace' -> I imagine this gotta be the perfect opportunity to welcome Frederick (having him had Slumber Party!) properly as the newest member of the CPC, with Gwen likely that gives him the PANDA keychain and everyone at the CPC gets resolutions (like the hopes of curses could be broken, is not always with the 'cure-it-all' of true love's kiss but other things like self-love w/ hint of romance)

Months: the nice timeskip to shows resolution of things being established, relationships - CPC likely get renovated and established properly as proper instituion to helps the cursed people - Plaid Kingdom had rulership changes as the Plaid King got accountable to his crimes (who'll ruling? or if the rulership changes from monarch to anything else? Whatever it be, I just want the Plaid folks espc Plaid Princes to be happy) - Pastel Kingdom accepting the CPC existence properly and make adjustments for them, and already dealing with portaits stuffs espc Lilyth's. This gotta be the most wide but plausible timeskip to not skipping most of details instead going with years timeskip

I predict if we get 'little bonus episode' it's gotta be a retelling of the tiniest prince which shows his journey so he could return to his lover - the rose - the Angel of the Fortune - Gwendolyn

The CPC members that didn't attend Gwendolyn's Dinner Party try to entertain themselves - and Saffron asks the backstory behind Jolie's curse. Jolie's story starts in her homeland, the Lace Kingdom, which was 'saved' by a mysterious dealer... Jolie's curse story is concluded when the mysterious dealer asks for his end of the bargain...

If the Omniscient Clam isn't omnious and won't asks dubious price for being asked, I say it's gotta be deus ex machina that helps the CPC members to breaks their curse. I find it's gotta be interesting little stories as each member has chance to learn more about their curse and how to breaks it. I am stand to belief that every curse could be broken somehow, by learning more about the nature of the curse first - and, the cure isn't always to be "the true love's kiss" but other else...

Curses can be cut short (or lifted or broken) by:

Giving back a stolen item, apologizing, or otherwise setting right the original offense. = meet the curser basically

Completing an Impossible Task.

Dying and coming back, usually as part of finding a loophole in the curse. = only could work if there's time travel element

Passing it on to someone else, like a bad penny.

Killing the curser or otherwise getting them to die. (Not effective in cases of a Dying Curse.)

Beat the Curse Out of Him: A less drastic tactic. Results vary. For a country, putting the rightful king on the throne. (This may or may not fall under the first as well.)

The Power of Love. Sometimes this simply requires actually being loved by someone else, sometimes it requires the person to receive True Love's Kiss to seal the deal. Furthermore, many curses are susceptible to the Power of Love even if it's not supposed to be a condition of the curse

let's go through the budgets of 3 parts. The first part had: $130 million the second: $150 million third: $145 million

We can see that relatively a lot of money has been spent on creating these parts. According to rumors, the fourth part had a budget in the region of $ 85 million.. Yes, I understand that 1/3 of the budget of the first three parts went to voice actors. And that's okay. Arguing is stupid. Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan and other minor characters.. But if you wanted to save money, you could find people who have voices similar to these actors. what is the problem?

But then why did the first two parts keep a good bar? Great plot, great character disclosure and interaction. The third part was not so strong anymore, but still, there was The furious Five, there was a relatively normal villain.

But what did they do with the fourth part?

That's right, they took and threw out all the development and attitude of the Software with The furious Five. They took and made a fan service. They brought back the old villains who just stood and remained silent on the sidelines. How could they even revive Kai if he disintegrated from an overabundance of Qi? Why did Kai and Shen respect Po in the end? The second one hated him and killed almost all the pandas.
