Random Writing Tip #1 (that you didn't ask for)
Something that helped me a lot to understand how to write/describe what happens in a scene. Maybe it will help someone.
"Describe the scene as if you were telling the story to your Mom"
What do I mean by this?
We've all been in that situation where we want to tell our mom or significant other something. And most likely that person/mom doesn't know anything about what you're talking about.
What do we normally do in this situation? We explain every important detail so that the person/mom understands the situation.
If they still have questions after you've told them everything? Well, you haven't given enough details for them to get that image in their head.
Something that helps me is to question what I write.
Example: ------
The hero threw the knife!
Ok, where did that knife come from? With which hand did he throw it? Did he grab the tip or the handle of the knife? etc... ------
These are questions that will help you form a better image for the reader.
Well that's how I do it. I do this for fun so maybe you or someone else has a better way to do this. But if this helps someone, it's a win for me.

btw. fyi. "wear a mask when you're sick" doesn't just mean wear a mask around other people (although that's definitely something you should be doing!) it also means wearing a mask in shared spaces, like kitchens, bathrooms, etc., even when no one else is currently in there
viruses can hang out in the air a lot longer than you think. if you're just hanging out in a space while sick, someone else could catch it if they walk in there after you. this should be public health 101 but since it's not: wear a mask in shared spaces.

Colour harmony is real like certain tones and colours blend with each other better and certain colours are disharmonious and create poor shadows or draw out poor tones etc

i had a thought of "do people not know what AUs are anymore?" and then i remembered nobody explains fandom stuff to new people anymore so it is entirely plausible people genuinely don't know what AUs are and nobody has explained it to them, so for today's lucky 10,000:
"AU" stands for "Alternate Universe" or "Alternative Universe" (same difference) and is basically any thought scenario for a fandom that isn't canon and can't fit within the canon universe. If it takes place in the canon universe but something is notably different, that is typically what's known as a "Canon divergent AU," because it diverges from canon.
an AU can be absolutely anything. There's a couple of widespread pan-fandom au scenarios that often get thrown around, like coffee shop aus, genderbend aus, hanahaki aus (hanahaki is a whole thing in itself i'd recommend researching on your own), etc. One you might hear sometimes is "crossover AU" which is when you have characters from one fandom interacting with characters from another.
You can have as many aus as you want. They can be whatever you want and you can do whatever you want in them. It's a sandbox for you to play around in and explore how things would be different or how the characters would act in those circumstances or environments. Maybe they have different relationships with each other. Maybe they behave slightly differently. Or you can just say "Okay, [x] is true. How did they get here? How would things have to be different for this to occur?" which can also be fun.
If you are ever confused about why people ship something that seems completely out of the blue or doesn't make sense to you in the canon setting, there's a good chance they like it in an AU setting! Not everything everybody is interacting with is necessarily the canon! Not everybody wants things to exist in canon and just want to explore playing dolls in a different sandbox and that's okay. And their sandbox might look a lot different than yours, and that's also okay. You have the freedom to make your sandbox whatever you please. Do whatever you want forever. Get funky with it. AUs are fun.
Okay that's my schpeal. everybody go have fun and play nice now.

Rules and Stuff
18+ writers and mutuals only/MDNI: For the safety of me, and everyone involved this is a required essential. I do NOT feel comfortable with underaged people messaging me or interacting in the slightest. If I get the impression you're underage or lying about your age, I will block you.
No smut: Scott and the mun are both of age. It's important to note, that I don't feel comfortable with it and it's not something I'm particularly fond of. The most I might offer is a fade to black and leave it at that. If you are into this that's fine but it's not my cup of tea.
Sources: If I reblog a meme or something, please don't repost my reblog of it. I don't wanna take credit for other people's work. It doesn't feel right to me. So if I reblog something, make sure you check the source beforehand. That's all.
Shipping: I'm not against it, but there needs to be build-up and genuine chemistry. Only interested in fluff shenanigans. I primarily ship Scott with Ramona, but if there is enough chemistry between our muses I'll consider a different pairing. Also no weird crap, any incestuous, pedophilic, bestiality, or other problematic ship ideas will result in a swift block.
Fight rp: I'm a bit rusty at this, but I don't have any strict requirements about it. Don't godmod, powerplay/metagame, and vary up your attacks. Give me a chance to react to your moves, and I'll do the same for you. No cheap one-shot stuff.
No drama: I don't care about this, and neither does anyone above the age of twelve. If you don't want to interact with me anymore, that's perfectly understandable. The block button is at your disposal, so go ahead and use it if I make you feel uncomfortable or don't suit your writing style. Not interested in other people's beef either.
Mirrors: I'm not too stingy about this, and considering how Scott Pilgrim is a fictional character anyone with knowledge of the series can write for him. So if other Scotts want to follow me they can, I don't take roleplaying too seriously in general.
Mun ≠ Muse: Scott Pilgrim is an impulsive moron, who often makes decisions without thinking all the way through. Pretty obvious but I am NOT the character I'm writing for. So don't take anything I've said in character personally.
Discord: It's not required, merely optional but if you want it do ask me beforehand. Only interested in giving it out to close mutuals, to begin with, and in general I'm selective with this. For obvious reasons. If you prefer to not use it that's also valid and I respect that.
10. Angst: I don't mind this writing honestly. It can be pretty fun to write angst if it's well done-and enjoyable. I don't have too many triggers, but if one does come up I'll let you know and DM about it privately.

Tim and Jason were munching on Batburgers mid-patrol. Entirely out of the blue Tim says: By the way, I'm bi.
Jason pauses, then swallows his burger: Uh, okay?
Tim: I just wanted to tell you. In case, you know, you think no one would accept you.
Jason: ...Huh??
Tim: Yeah, there's a reason why I brought this up. What I'm trying to tell you is that B told me to tell you that you can bring your boyfriend over for dinner whenever you want.
Jason just stares at Tim, wondering if he's experiencing a fever dream because what??
Jason: What boyfriend??
As far as he knows, there is no boyfriend. Why does Bruce think there is a boyfriend??
Tim being understanding but for a completely different context: It's okay, Hood. I'll tell him you said no. No need to deny it.
Jason continues to be baffled: Thanks. But I don't have a boyfriend.
Tim does not believe him: Sure, sure. So, when's the next time Arsenal plans to visit Gotham?
Jason goes back to eating his burger and pretending he's not totally confused by the change in topic: Uh, this Thursday. I'm gonna help him with Lian's birthday cake, and brainstorm gift ideas.
Tim: Uh-huh. Hope you have guys have fun :)
