How Nothing Can Stop Della Duck would go in my “HDLW grow up with their Duck Cousins counterparts” AU (This is Part 3  of Webby’s introduction, Part 1 is Whatever Happened To Della Duck which you find right here, and Part 2 is The Golden Spear which you can find right here):

We open with Donald rushing Webby to McDuck Manor

Inside the Manor Scrooge and Dewey are preparing to set of on yet another adventure with the help of a map drawn by The Cartographer’s Quill

Scrooge opens the door just as Donald reaches it, shouting for them to get Beakley

He drops the quill from the shock of the girl in Della’s jacket

Dewey runs and gets Beakley

The adults end up kicking Dewey out to “discuss things” while Beakley, using the medical training I’m sure she got as a spy (because I don’t feel putting a doctor here and risk forgetting about them), checks the girl over

Donald tells them about the Spear of Selene and what the girl said about “her Aunt Della” and her name being “Webby” •   The similarity between “Webby” and “Webbigail” is not lost on them

They decide that they’ll go and check the crash in the morning

Beakley tells them that she’ll stay with Webby to make sure she remains stable

The next morning Webby wakes up, and after a very big breakfast (almost your whole life of nothing but licorice flavored gum and then whatever food the Moonlanders had that was safe for ducks to eat results in being very hungry), she fills them in on how her and Della had crashed on the Moon (including Della losing her leg), how Della had raised her, how they’d spent all of their time trying to get back, how Penumbra and Lunaris found them and how the Moonlanders helped them rebuild the ship, and how Della had jumped out of the Spear at the last second

The others of course have plenty of questions for her, and she has plenty of her own, including, “Where are Jet and Rebel?”

They, of course fill her in on the events of The House of The Lucky Gander and The Depths of Cousin Fethry

Beakley announces that her and Donald are going to search the Spear of Selene and that Webby and Dewey are to stay at the Manor

They try to convince her to let them tag along, especially Webby who really want to get to know her super cool spy grandma, but Beakley doesn’t budge

Dewey offers to give Webby a tour of the mansion and the two wander around and exchange stories about their lives

When they reach the garage Webby starts talking about feeling a little blocked out by Mrs. Beakley, and ends up kicking the Gargantuan Gilded Man which accidentally activates it

The Gilded Man attacks them and they attempt to fight back, with Webby grabbing an umbrella from a nearby stand and jamming it into a knee joint

The brief injury to the statue results in Webby deciding that the best way to prove herself to Beakley is to defeat the Gilded Man, just like Della did

Scrooge hears the commotion and bursts into the room to check whats wrong

The Gilded Man removes the umbrella and makes another swing at the kids, who declare that they’ve got everything under control •   They do not, in fact, have everything under control

Scrooge jumps into the fight as the animatronic advances on the children only for it to snap his cane like a twig

While looking for weapons, Dewey knocks something over resulting in a jeep being crushed and the car alarm going off

The Gilded Man tries to cover his ears to block out the sound

And Scrooge rushes to the kids and pulls them behind a large disk

“OK, here’s the plan: I’ll stall him, you guys go get Donald and my grandma so she can see me beat this monster and prove I’m a good granddaughter!”

Scrooge stops the alarm with his keys and asks Webby what makes her think she isn’t a good granddaughter

She explains how she’s been feeling like Beakley has been nothing but cold to her since her arrival

Scrooge explains that it’s just a big change and they all need time to adjust and figure out how to function

The statue finds their hiding place, forcing them to run, and the three escape from the under the garage door, leading the Gargantuan Gilded Man outside

Donald and Beakley arrive just in time to see it try to grab Excalibur while chasing Scrooge, Dewey, and Webby

Mrs. Beakley declares that “Only the One True King of England can wield that sword!” and the monster simply rips the whole stand from the ground knocks her out

Webby grabs Dewey’s grappling hook and manages to get the line wrapped around the sword and ties the other end to part of a stone wall, ripping the weapon from the statues hand

Webby climbs up the robots body as Dewey and Donald go to check on Beakley

Webby, remembering Della’s stories about defeating it the first time, dives into the space between its “collarbone” and neck

She crawls through mechanics towards a glowing red gem and yanks it out of place causing the Gilded Man to freeze and shut down

She climbs her way back out and victoriously holds the gem aloft

Dewey cheers as Donald helps Mrs. Beakley up as the older woman comes to

Beakley sees Webby holding the gem as she scrambles down and asks if she got it by herself

Webby tells her that she did and Beakley says that that’s very impressive

And then proceeds to tell her that it was also very dangerous and next time she should let an adult handle it rather than put herself in harm's way

So… long time no post, am I right? I am honestly so so sorry about that, especially because I know I’ve kind of left you all hanging in terms of Louie and Gladstone and [REDACTED] and all that. I am planning on doing Whatever Happened To Donald Duck and Friendship Hates Magic (not necessarily in that order) next, and would like to get through those two and The Moonvasion before I lose motivation again. My sincerest apologies if you’re one of the people who sent me an ask god knows how long ago, I will hopefully try and answer the ones that I can soon. If anyone does have any questions about the AU or anything else (within reason of course) feel free to send it, although I can’t guarantee how soon it’ll be answered. And as I’ve said, I also probably won’t be answering any “how would [episode] go?” asks as they take a long time (just this post took me almost an hour since I watch the episode and pause to write the bullet points as I go), but still do feel free to send them, maybe I’ll get hit with inspiration, or maybe I’ll answer some other day when I have the time.

Birthday party for Donald, Daisy and Della Duck! - Happy Birthday Donald, Daisy and Della Duck - Ducktales 2017 - Duckverse June - Week 1 - My Version - Gift for my friends

I drew on June 7th. After a long time, I decided to draw again related to Ducktales 2017, even though I'm not a fan of that series, but as they say everyone deserves a second chance. Is not it? So I decided to draw related to the great jubilee that is being celebrated these days and of course the favorite modern series by many, so I decided to draw Donald Duck, Della Duck and Daisy Duck with their family in Ducktales 2017 format, of course in my style. Because I'm not a fan of Ducktales 2017 style which is really weird for me.

On June 7, 1940, Donald's classic short "Mr Duck Steps Out" was shown, featuring Daisy Duck for the first time. 9/6/1934 The Classic Short "The Wise Little Hen" was shown and Donald Duck appeared there for the first time. Donald Duck will become one of the main stars of not only Disney, but also cartoon films, comics and video games at all. Certainly there is no need to tell his history. Della Duck is first mentioned in the comic book Donald's Nephews, and then made her first appearance in the 1994 comic strip "The Empire Builder from Calisota" by Don Rosa, from The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck. For the first time Della Duck appeared as a mother and adult woman and had a role in the Dutch comic "80 is Prachtig" from 2014, and she appears for the first time in animation in the Ducktales reboot. Also five years ago is the anniversary of the episode "What Ever Happened to Della Duck?!" where officially Della Duck got her role.

Well, since they are honored these days, and especially Donald Duck who is celebrating his 90th anniversary this year, I drew a birthday party where everyone celebrates their birthdays together. Donald, Daisy and Della Duck along with their family and their friends. Because what kind of birthday is it, without your closest ones. Yes, Donald is in the middle since he is definitely the main one, but he suffered a lot in that series so he definitely deserved the best. Finally, that Donald is happy after a long time and can finally rest. Yes, this is how I imagine the end of Ducktales 2017. And with him are his twin sister Della and his favorite love and girlfriend Daisy Duck. Yes, I also drew the characters as I like to imagine them in my Ducktales AU and Quack Pack reboot based on Ducktales 2017 as well as different outfits that would suit them quite well. Since I can't think of anything else, sorry, and I added Donald's nephews also wear caps and most of them wear jeans. Huey and Louie wear backwards hats. Yes, they are teenagers here too. :D And in front of Donald, of course, a birthday cake with cherries.

In addition to Donald, Daisy, and Della Duck, there are Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie Duck, plus Phooey Duck and Kabooie or Kablooie Duck (Donald's fifth nephew, usually wearing brown clothing), Gosalyn Mallard (who is with Huey), Webby Vanderquack and Lena De Spell (Sabrewing, otherwise they are together), May and June Duck, Violet Sabrewing, Scrooge McDuck, Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera and Gandra Dee, Gladstone Gander, Fethry Duck, Drake Mallard, Launchpad McQuack, Gyro Gearloose (to draw alone how he smiles I didn't think I'd ever do this), Boyd Beaks-Gearloose and Bentina Beakley. And everyone together celebrates the important birthdays of the most important Ducktales characters. Adults and children together. Happy birthday to you Donald, Daisy and Della Duck!

So I started thinking of an AU where Della didn't take the Spear of Selene and the bois grew up with their entire family and now I'm thinking....

In this AU, F.O.W.L. wouldn't have seen the need to make April/Webby

Cause Webby and the bois are the same age yeah? But we don't know exactly who was born first. We know the bois hatched in April 15 (HA! April!) but we don't know when Project #87 started. It's totally possible Project #87 got started after the bois were born

F.O.W.L. needed Scrooge's heir, right? But an "heir" doesn't necessarily have to be a direct child, it can be a niece or a nephew too, the show itself says so. Scrooge refers to them all as potential heirs.

So F.O.W.L. didn't need Scrooge to be a father really, they just needed Scrooge to have a child (or multiple children) in his family to potentially consider as his heir. This is why I believe Webby wasn't made until after Della left with the Spear of Selene.

Before Della got lost, Scrooge had 5 potential heirs right there. The twins and the unhatched Duck bois. F.O.W.L. didn't need to clone Scrooge, they just needed to wait until the eggs hatched and see if they could manipulate the triplets into getting them the papyrus.

But then Della got lost, one less potential heir. And Donald had a falling out with his uncle and left the mansion, one less potential heir. And the triplets were hatched and raised in the houseboat, without meeting Scrooge or even knowing they were related. Three less potential heirs.

So now F.O.W.L. has a problem. And what do they do? That's when they make April/Webby.

So if Della didn't get lost and the family didn't break apart, then they wouldn't have made Webby.

More evidence to this is the fact that we see that Scrooge was living alone when Beakley moved in with him. Della and Donald were all already out of the picture before Beakley came to his door with a child.

Della knows Beakley as "Agent 22", she's surprised that she's the housekeeper now. So, we know that she didn't move in until after Della's disappearance.

So, in an AU where the Spear of Selene didn't happen, there's no Webby.

I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. But the first thing I thought of when I got this fic idea was "Wow, I will make it an angst!" And who don't like angsty fics don't worry, if this works the next one-shot will be a fluff, and maybe with DW and DA.

PS: Beakley isn't here bc she went to the mansion when she got Webby, and that fic happened before.

The dissolution of the Duck-McDuck family

"You... You crazy old man! You murder! " Donald shouted with Scrooge. Once he and Drake knew what is happening, he got absolutely furious with his uncle. How he dares to do something in that size as a secret, he couldn't see that could turn into a huge crazyness? How many ways this could go wrong and it really went?

"I'm not a murder! This is not my fault! This don't went in the way it should go!" Scrooge shouted in answer. The stress of the situation was making him crazy, he just have to find her, anywhere she is, to the family be alright again. When she returns, the things will work again, his nephews will finally understand and regret everything what they're saying, and obviously he will ground all of these children and then forgive it. They will be an happy family again. He will never give up of this plan.

"Not your fault? Ha! Who built the Spear of Selene? Who made a rocket what sent our sister to the space while she will be mother?" Donald pointed to the eggs under Drake's care in the baby carriage. "Why you doesn't even told us? We're her brothers! We could hide the secret too!"

"I said, but you throught that were a craziness! I just throught that would make she happy! She always liked craziness!" Scrooge justified himself, he just wanted to see his niece smiling.

"I know, but she was pregnant when you begun with it! And now, look what you have done! She's disappeared and the babies will born in a few days!" Donald shouted anxiously.

"I'm doing everything I can to find her! She will be here to watch her boys born, just be more patient!" Scrooge told his older and out of control nephew.

"More patient? MORE PATIENT?!" Drake turned mad and got out his place with the babies fastily to not have the chance to do something bad to them accidentaly. "Now it's a week without Della! A whole week without our sister here! More time where you don't find her means more chances to she be dead! If you don't solve this fastily, our nephews will be orphans just like us!"

Scrooge looked to the younger nephew. "They won't! I'm solving this! You will have your sister faster than you think!"

"I'm tired of this! I can't trust you! You're saying this since she got in the rocket! Don't lie to me!"

"Because it's true! The process it's just too slow for find something! It makes me mad too!"

"Uncle Scrooge, Della is dead?" Donald looked at his uncle, almost with tears in his eyes. The boys needs their mother, don't matter what they have to do to have it. It isn't for him or even for Drake, it's for the boys. They needs her.

Scrooge sympathized sadily with the lad's look, while Drake was trying to calm down. Everyone wants Della in home again, but they're losing the patience. "I don't know, Donald. We hope she isn't."

Donald's face turned red again "That's it! We cannot stay here anymore!"

Scrooge got surprised "What? What do you mean?"

Drake looked confused to his brother, and Donald looked at him "We cannot stay living in the mansion from the duck who killed our sister!" He looked at Scrooge "If you made an entire rocket to her while she was pregnant, and now she disappeared and you 'can't find her', that means you always wanted to get rid of her! How you dares?!"

Scrooge turns panicked "WHAT? Are you crazy? You are completely wrong! I never would do somenthing like that!"

"Stop lying! I should know you are mad! All of these adventuries you does, all of your thirst for dangerous! How I never noticed it?"

"Donald, stop! Go to your room! You're grounded!"

"Who will be the next, huh, Scrooge? Me, Drake, the boys or all of us together? If it's me be fast, I don't like to wait!"

"Donald! Get out of my house! I'm not letting you talk to me in that way, principally under my roof!"

"You are right! We're not staying more one minute in this mansion! Let's go packing, Drake! We'll live in the boat I bought with my savings!" Donald signaled to Drake.

"Ha! The old houseboat instead the mansion from the richest duck in the world?" Scrooge mocked.

"I prefer live in the streets than spend here one minute more! C'mon, Drake!"

"No! If you wants to live alone, you can! But Drake and the boys stay with me!"

"No way! The boys will go with me! I'm her twin! And Drake is big enough to decide by himself where he want to go!"

Drake looked to Donald and Scrooge, stopping his eyes on his uncle "Donald is right, Della wouldn't like her boys living in the mansion if she could know who you truly are!"

"So, if you two thinks it, you better get out of my house before I call the police!" Scrooge raised his cane.

"Let's go Donald, there's nothing here to us anymore." Drake said to his older brother.

"Oh, if mom and dad could know what you did to their little girl... Just wait 'till the boys be grown up and find out about this!" Donald threatened "Just think what they will do with you, you murder!"

Donald and Drake left the room to packing their things, and Scrooge went to the rocket control cabin to try to find his niece. Before he came back, the brothers said goodbye to Duckworth and left the McDuck Mansion with the houseboat, to return only ten years later.

When Scrooge agreed to take in Jet and Turbo he didn't think too much about it, it was clear Donald had his hands full and he wanted to help in any way he could. Plus, they were Della's... and he wanted every piece of Della he could have right now, selfish as that sounded. But once Donald left he realized he had no idea how to take care of eggs, or infants, or anything that was younger than the age of ten.

It would be a challenge, but he was Scrooge McDuck and he never backed down from a challenge.

The days until their eggs hatched were quiet: Beakley was busy with her own bairn and anytime Donald came over they did anything but talk. But Scrooge was used to silence, silence was all he had for months after the Spear of Selene. He wasn't sure he was ready for that to change. He wasn't sure he wanted it to stay the same.

The silence ended eventually for better or worse, he needed things for the twins and he didn't know what all they were. Donald ended up being more competent in that store than he did. Donald was made for this, Scrooge wasn't.

But the moment they hatched it was like none of that even mattered. This was just a new kind of adventure, and that was something he was made for.

The first night was hard, the first week even harder, and more than once he had the selfish thought that he shouldn't have taken this on. The first month went by and he found there was nothing else he'd rather be doing. The next month went by and he could hardly believe he had had those selfish thoughts at all. He got the call that the Money Bin was losing profits fast and it all crashed down.

It wasn't more important than the boys, nothing ever would be, but Scrooge knew if he became too vulnerable it would put them in danger. And that wasn't an option. He set up an area for them in his office and promptly got back to work. The area was moved to the living room when they got a little bigger. He stayed in his office.

Finding out he missed their first words put some things in perspective, what was the point of protecting them if he never got to see them? He hired a secretary and entrusted them with the little things. He would never lose sight of what was most important again.

Taking in the twins changed a lot of things for him, he couldn't recall the last time he had spent this much time with his family- as bad as that sounded. He loved his family dearly, and absolutely adored Donald and... Della, but there was a distance there that Hubert and Dewey broke through somehow. It made it easier to make the sacrifices he knew he had to make. It made it easier to talk about things he really didn't want to talk about.

Back before the twins were born he and Donald agreed not to tell them everything about what happened to Della, there was no reason for them to think she didn't want them or have questions they would probably never get the answers to, but that didn't mean they could never talk about her. And if the twins did have questions, well he would just do his best to answer them. Still, he didn't want them to waste all their time wondering about someone who wasn't there, especially since someone was.

He didn't like thinking about his darling niece like that but as far as he was concerned the twins were more his than hers.

But when exactly he started thinking that way he wasn't sure.

He knew he never felt that way about Donald and Della- they were Hortense and Quackmore's kids and he was completely fine with that, but with Huey and Dewey it was almost like it was meant to happen. Not that he believed in that sort of stuff. No, he knew it had something to do with the age he took each pair of twins in at. Even if they were unfortunately similar circumstances Huey and Dewey didn't know their parents and that made it easier. Sometimes too easier.

The decision to take them (and Webby) on their first adventure wasn't something he made easily but he figured if he could start them out early he could better prepare them for any danger that came their way. He could protect them this time. And they were so excited about it, their energy was infectious! They reminded him so much of Donald and Della and for once there was no hurt in his heart because of it.

So of course it wouldn't last.

Ack, what was he thinking?! They were only six! Of course they weren't ready for this! He had never felt so horrible about one of his decisions... besides that one time. And there was the hurt. But, he was Scrooge McDuck and he could bounce back from this! He just had to make more careful decisions when it came to the kids in the future. There were other ways to make sure nothing like that blasted spear ever happened again.

He couldn't protect them from everything -that was the only thing he kept dwelling on. He knew Bentina was right, but that didn't make it easy to come to terms with. The thought of the twins getting hurt, in any way, was one he couldn't stomach. But that didn't change the fact that they would eventually, that they had already, and there wasn't anything he could do to change that. It made him feel helpless in a way he never had before. It made him feel a lot of things he had never felt before, and he didn't know how to deal with them. Feelings, those weren't his forte. But he would figure them out, he had to, he couldn't pull in on himself again- not now. He had to figure out how to process his feelings so he could help the twins process theirs. He had to show them they could come to him with anything.

And they had so far, but they were getting older and he knew from experience they would stop being as open as the years passed. Unless, he curbed that now.

That meant considering something he never had before. Therapy. He knew Donald had been going for years now and the difference still astounded Scrooge, not that he wasn't fine before or that he would've been a bad father by any means, but there was something there that wasn't there before. It was like he finally felt heard. It was all Scrooge wanted for him, really, no matter how little he may have said it. And it was because of that that Scrooge thought about therapy, and made an appointment.

He mostly talked about the twins, something that was happening more and more over the years, and how he wanted to make sure they knew they could come to him when they needed to. The session went well, better than he thought it would, and he came out of it feeling better about things than he had in a while.

He scheduled another appointment.

He kept up with therapy for a while, but then he got too busy and went less and less until he stopped going altogether. But it was fine, by that point he had a good grasp on things, learned how to healthily process his emotions and how to help the twins with theirs. Which is all he really wanted from the whole experience. So it wasn't a loss in his eyes.

The only thing that was a loss was the time going by, it felt like the boys were growing up too quickly. Like just yesterday they were mere babes and now they were almost eight, soon they would be teenagers. Teenagers! But, he couldn't think that far ahead, he just had to focus on the here and now. It was easier said than done. He didn't know how Donald and Bentina did it.

But then again they had always been better at this whole thing than him.

He was learning, everyday he was learning, and he knew they were too, but it felt like they had unlocked something he hadn't. Something that was keeping him from being the best guardian he could be. And he wasn't going to take that sitting down, he was Scrooge McDuck! He solved mysteries, and this one might have been the most important of them all.

It involved the twins- it was definitely the most important of them all.

His first thought was to talk to Donald and Bentina, but when he did they gave him a funny look and tried not to laugh. So that was a bust. It was clearly something obvious as well and it was killing him that he couldn't figure it out. It was like... something wasn't right. Off. And he didn't know how to fix it.

His next thought was just to talk to the twins, but he didn't want to let them know something was wrong. And he knew, he knew! That he just got done with a program that told him to do the exact opposite, but this was different! This was something they weren't supposed to know about. Ever, if he could help it. No, it looked like he was on his own for this one. Oh well, it wasn't like it was the first time. But it was the first time when he was this close with his family, and that might just make the difference.  

And normally Scrooge was not this introspective, but, well, some things required it. But why? Why were Huey and Dewey in a different category for him? Why had they been since before they had been born? Why was this the one thing he could not wrap his head around?

What was he not getting?

It was all he thought about until the twins got sick.

It started with Dewey, he always got into stuff he wasn't supposed to, and since the twins were inseparable it wasn't long before Huey got sick as well. He tended to them, because of course he did, and tried his best not to get sick as well. He hadn't in years, he wouldn't break that record, especially not when they were.

Taking care of sick twins was pretty easy all things considered. Maybe it was just because he had experience with it but they never gave him too much trouble. Not that he would mind if they did. No, they were just content to stay in their bed, they always got cuddly when they weren't feeling well, and watch TV or sleep. The only times they really needed him were when they needed food or water. That didn't stop him from staying by their sides during the whole ordeal every time though. He would do it whenever they needed him to, that was what parents-

Oh. He found what was off.

Of course, it made so much sense! No wonder Donald and Bentina wanted to laugh at him! Of course, of course he was their parent. How could he not see it before? He had done everything a parent was supposed to do, yet he never put that label to it. Was it his way of honoring Della?

Della...

His darling niece, who, as much as he hated the thought, was probably dead. He wasn't trying to replace her, but he was there for the twins in a way she couldn't be. Not that he blamed her, he was six years past that. But the fact was that the twins needed someone and he stepped up, he always stepped up. Still, maybe he would let her have this one.

If he was only a parent by name in his mind that was okay. The boys hadn't talked to him about it, so he was left to assume they just saw him as their Uncle. Which was completely fine! Whatever made them comfortable, and if having him as their Uncle and Della as their Mom who wasn't around was what made them comfortable, then that's how it would stay. (It never occurred to him that the reason they never said anything was because they thought he didn't want them to call them that- not until years later.) He would just call himself their parent in his mind, he would give himself that at least.

The twins got better but nothing really changed with his relationship with them. And why would it? He may have called himself their guardian or Uncle but he had always been their parent. But changing that title... it gave him a warmth that nothing else did. It felt right. More right than anything had ever felt before.

The two sisters found Webby and Lizzy asleep together in the armchair.

Basically in this AU Bentina Beakley had a twin sister called Beatrice (the '87 Beakley). Webby is the Webby from the show while Lizzie is Beatrice's granddaughter and mostly based on '87 Webby.

Concept art dump for @korkorali ‘s Ducktales 2017-Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood AU!

Featuring the Donald and Della Duck as the Elric brothers- though at the time I drew these, who was Ed and who was Al was undecided. Scrooge is Colonel Roy Mustang, Beakley is Hawkeye, Penumbra is Scar, Hortense is Hohenheim, and Quackmore is Trisha (I hc the convo above taking place maybe a couple of weeks or months before he inevitably dies to Kick Off the Plot, so RIP in advance). Grandma Elvira Duck is Pinako, and Daisy is Winry. Since the twins are Elvira’s grandchildren, Winry!Daisy isn’t related to her in this AU. She’s prob her automail apprentice; maybe Daisy boards in a spare room, maybe she commutes from her house, idk.

Coming up with these was a ton of fun. Mickey as Ling Yao was one of my suggestions; aside from the Mouse Empire meta jokes, mad scientists mess with him in a lot of his old shorts. Runaway Brain was one of my favourites as a kid.

Okay yeah, you're right, it's only fair I do explain.

Since I never actually gave much context (I tend to underexplain things, sorry, my bad), and it's always cool to see people being inspired by your art, this is in no way meant to shade or as a dig to the AU that came out of it, which btw is very valid and wholesome!!!!

But yeah, the original context is that both Bentinas are different people not previously related and are together!

(Ramble time bc you just gave me the perfect chance to talk about them sjjsjs thanks Sadie 💕). Basically the AU goes like this:

'87 Beakley is Bentina Vanderquack in here, nicknamed Tina later to avoid confusion, and works as a nanny for some influential families.

Agent 22 is still Bentina Beakley, nicknamed Ben.

They meet when the kid Tina is taking care of gets kidnapped and she's taken hostage as collateral damage, because she may be scared but she won't stay aside and let them harm an innocent child on her watch. 22 and Scrooge are assigned to the case and sparks fly. After that, they keep running into each other to the point that, whenever there's a child involved in the mission, Agent 22 knows she WILL find the soft brunette with the pretty eyes.

When Scrooge hires Tina, he "conveniently forgets" mentioning it to Ben and that both Bentinas did meet before countless times. He got an efficient employee, a kind and reliable friend AND a way to mess with his partner at the same time, he calls this a massive success.

They both become Bentina Beakley when they marry because Tina takes Ben's last name, but after everything went down with FOWL, they gave Webby Tina's maiden name so anyone seeking revenge wouldn't immediately link the baby to Agent 22 and come for their granddaughter.

Tina dies before Duckworth does, when Webby is still very young, and gets brought back alongside him as a ghost.

Bonus miscellaneous hc!!:

Duckworth and Tina immediately become best friends right after meeting for the first time, much to Agent 22's dismay.

Turns out that being married to someone with your same name does wonders to keep your enemies off your tail, because they will turn out at your house asking for Bentina Beakley and, instead of the tall and intimidating SHUSH agent they're looking for, they just find this sweet lady who's definitely not 22 inviting them inside for tea.

Tina IS terrified the whole time whenever she is involved in spy missions or adventures, but Agent 22's presence is comforting and she knows she won't let her get hurt. And she'd handle a million of them a day of it meant keeping Ben in her life.

Ben tried to train Tina. It did not work out at all. She couldn't kill a mosquito even if her life depended on it.

Tina is slightly taller than Ben, although it doesn't usually look like it due to 22's boots and 60s hairstyle. When Tina realizes though? She's delighted.

Tina never understood Ben and Duckworth's friendenemies relationship, why can't they just be kind to each other?

Webby got the spy skills from Ben and the kind and trusting nature of Tina.

And that would be pretty much it!! There's way more hc but this was getting long XD.

Again, the AUs that came out of it are absolutely amazing and so wholesome and cute!!! This is not meant to cut them off in any way, I love them and I'm very much looking forward to see if there's more stuff! But yeah, Sadie's right, I should at least clear this up before it's too late and stuff gets mixed and misunderstood in the future XD.

As you said yourself, the only one who would really need to change is Della’s, and I’ll probably make it be “Nailed it!” but I’m not sure yet.

Beside Della’s, the only ones that might change are Dewey’s and Huey’s but that’s just a maybe as well. All the other ones are perfect and I’m not touching them.

AU where HDLW grow up with their Duck Cousins counterparts; Huey-Fethry, Dewey-Donald, Louie-Gladstone, Webby-Della. How exactly would this work? Simple (and by that I mean I’ve spent several 3am’s thinking about this):

When Della finds out about the Spear and decides to take it she meets up with Donald, Fethry, and Gladstone to explain her plan to them

They try to talk her out of it but she refuses and instead, gives them each an egg to take care of until she gets back

A little before Della gets ready to leave Fethry tells her that he needs to get something from the lab and Gladstone says that he needs to get something from his hotel, Della tells them to take the eggs with them and that trusts them not to let anything happen

Donald disagrees but they are Della’s eggs and he knows she wouldn’t let their cousins take the eggs unless she 100% confident that they’d be careful

Webby, who had hatched not to long ago and was already crawling and sneaking around like a professional spy, saw Della going to the Spear and followed, and then managed to hide herself in the Spear

Della sees Webby when she’s in the storm and tries even harder to get out and get to Earth (after telling Scrooge, Donald, Duckworth, and Beakly about the stowaway)

Unfortunately she gets knocked off course and her radio is damaged and she crashes on the moon with Webby

Della tries to do her best to raise Webby on the moon and tells her as many stories about their family as she can

Meanwhile, Donald is pissed and blames Scrooge and he would have taken Dewey/Turbo and left if it weren’t for Mrs. Beakly saying that none of them can stand to lose anyone else right now

They try to get in contact with Fethry and Gladstone but nothing works and no matter how hard they try they can’t find them or they eggs Della gave them, they can’t reach Fethry’s lab and Gladstone’s hotel claims that he never came back or checked out

Donald never officially changes Dewey’s name from Turbo to Dewford out of respect for Della and the other eggs, but every one in McDuck Manor agrees that they can’t just call him Turbo and so they nickname him Dewey

So Dewey grows up with his extra over protective family and only gets to go on an adventure after almost a decade of begging and not only is his first adventure but it’s also the first one the Duck family has done since The Incident™

Dewey is aware that he was born a triplet (he has the picture from the show) and knows that something happened before he hatched the resulted in the loss of his mother, brothers, cousins(or Uncles, whatever you want to call them), and Mrs. Beakly’s granddaughter

I haven’t figured what it is yet, but something happened with the lab to cut Fethry and Huey off from everyone else

Fethry either calls Huey, Jet, Huey, or Little Donald, and it took Huey a few years to learn his name because of this 

He got the nickname Huey because when he was little he got super interested by the different hues of Fethry’s krill

Fethry spends a lot of time teaching Huey the entire JWG

Fethry and Huey also spend a lot of time trying to fix the communications system in the lab but it takes roughly 11 years before they get it sort of work and I will go more into detail about that some other time

Huey and Fethry don’t know about Della and Webby being on the moon or about Gladstone and Louie/Rebel also being missing

Fethry promises Huey that they’ll get to the mainland soon and then they’ll be able to see their family but Huey lost hope of ever meeting his family a while ago

The Luck Vampire convinces Gladstone to take a brief detour into his casino and Gladstone figures, he’ll just pop in real quick, win a few games, and then go get his stuff and go back to McDuck Manor with the egg

That’s not what happens

The Luck Vampire refuses to let Gladstone leave and keeps him trapped in the casino with Louie/Rebel

Gladstone isn’t sure where the nickname Louie comes from but he uses it and Rebel interchangeably

Louie was allowed to wander the casino by himself once he turned about seven but after witnessing an exchange between his Uncle the Luck Vampire he decides to avoid the vampire and stay close to Gladstone at all times

Gladstone and Louie know about as much about what happened after their disappearance and Fethry and Huey do

When Louie was 9 or 10 Gladstone sat him down and explained that he is going try his hardest to get them out of there and get in contact with their family but it won’t be easy and he isn’t sure when they’ll be able to escape

Webby and Della also think that they’re the only ones missing and have been trying to get to back earth the entire time

The first time they realize that they might not be the only missing ones is when they’re able to see a picture of the McDuck family after the Shadow War and Jet, Fethry, Rebel, and Gladstone are noticeably missing

When they do eventually find run into the Moonlanders Webby is very excited to meet people other than her Aunt Della, not that she doesn’t love her it’s just that she doesn’t know anyone else

I also have plans for how they all meet but I didn’t want this to be a million pages long so I’ll probably put all of that into a separate post at some point in the future

¡HOLA AMIGO! :-D You have no idea how happy I am that you're asking me about Lost Twin AU in the new episodes! (Because I've been thinking about it. A lot.)I'd like to believe that Della and Mrs Beakley would have a dispute similar to canon; there are two badass women in this household now, with their own ways of handling things; Della being less stricter with the rules or cleaning up, and this would drive Mrs Beakley crazy. Also I can't stop laughing at "NO ONE IS ABOVE THE RULES, DELLA!" XDWould Della use Scrooge's bathroom? Or do something else?Della trying to fix the boat with her engineering skills while listening to loud rock music ("It helps me to focus!"), all tools lying around, it's a huge mess, Mrs Beakley totally loosing it. AND DELLA TEAMING UP WITH MRS BEAKLEY TO SAVE THE KIDS.Della is not Donald, she's FURIOUS, but her way of fighting is more epic and badass, she yells "GIMME BACK MY SONS YOU @#$* YOU'RE SO GONNA REGRET THIS", and the Beagle Boys laugh, because how is such a smol woman gonna take them down. Della goes for it, they regret everything. Mrs Beakley is totally impressed. :-DDella hugging her sons, kissing them, they are totally embarassed. :-P About... That Star Wars AU looks really interesting! I have to wonder who the other roles would go to. Like, who’d be Darth Vader?

AAAA I'm glad you're finding this au to be interesting and cool! I LOVE Starwars and Ducktales so it's only a matter of time before I had combined the two.

Now as for the other roles 👀:

Della and Donald Duck

In this au the duck twins were both force sensitive and both trained to become Jedi’s back when the Republic was still standing and the Empire had not yet emerged. They were both padawans for Scrooge McDuck (who I will be talking about his role later) a Jedi Master. Donald and Della trained together, it was clear that Della was naturally better than this force thing but she was a lot more reckless whilst Donald tended to follow the Jedi Code and procedures. So in other words...

Della is taking the role of Anakin Skywalker and Donald is taking a role similar to Obiwon Kenobi.

So what does this mean? That epic fight Obiwon and Anakin had in the third prequel movie in that lava planet? Yep, in this au the Duck Twins are fighting. Della has been turned to the dark side and Donald is forced to fight his sister, beats her and is forced to leave her behind. In which the Emperor takes Della and...yep that's right, turns her to Darth Vader.

(HDL’s eggs have already been laid, and having Della turn dark, forces Donald to separate the eggs)

Donald stays in Tatootine where he left Huey with Ferthy, and remains a hermit as he continues to study the force.

Scrooge McDuck

Scrooge is taking both the role of Quigon and Yoda. What do I mean by this? Like Quigon, he is the Jedi Master of Obiwon, whose role is Donald. Except that instead of dying, he simply remains being Donald’s and Della’s Jedi Master. He takes the role of Yoda because the same way that Yoda trained Luke, Scrooge would be training Huey.

Other roles:

I was torn between having the Emperor/Chancellor Palpatine be either Magica or Bradford.

Webby would be Ahsoka, Della’s padawan, and Beakley would be been a senator of a planet.

Gladstone is the senator of Alderann and would take in Louie.

Fethry is a simple farmer over at Tatooine and would take in Huey.
