BG3 characters but it’s what Inscryption decks they would use (Spoilers for BG3)

Shadowheart uses a Magick deck Typically sticks to using only one color of Mox at a time in order to build resources- tends to favor Blue Mox. Used to have a Beast deck, but she doesn’t play with it much anymore. A Selune aligned Shadowheart does mix Beasts/Magick! She notably has a caged alpha card. A Shar aligned Shadowheart uses an Undead/Magick deck

Lae’zel uses a Beast deck Makes use of stacking Beast cards such as the Ants- has a firm belief that the best defense is a good offense. Late game Lae’zel also has Hydras and an Oroboros

Astarion uses an Undead deck He has several brittle cards that he’ll throw out while something like a Mummy Lord grows in the background, trying to keep his opponent busy while stronger cards grow on the side lines. Ascended Astarion has a Beast/Undead hybrid deck- mostly utilizes Goats, Cats, and Wolves from his Beast half- most of which have sigils to supply more blood or bones when sacrificed.

Wyll uses a Beast deck His deck is mostly Bird based to pass by his foe’s cards and attack them directly, though he does have a few Adders as well. A Devil-turned Wyll also utilizes Orange Mox cards alongside his Beasts.

Gale uses a Magick deck He’s very proud of his collection of rare Mox Master cards. He typically has a hybrid deck utilizing two of the three Mox colors, though he has been known to occasionally use all three at once through hybrid cards. Incredibly strategic in his use of sigils and resources- typically low on offense cards, but he’s chalked full of utility and can and will drag his opponents into card starvation

Karlach uses a Beast deck Notably has a few Undead cards from her time in the Hells, but not enough to call it a hybrid deck. She has several high cost hard hitting cards, like the Great White, Grizzly, and Moose, as well as several heavy defense cards (like the Tortoise & Mole Man). To try and balance out the high blood cost of her deck, she has several blood suppling cards- like the Squirrel Ball and a Black Goat.

Halsin uses a Beast/Magick deck He has a lot of high cost powerhouse cards like Grizzlies & a Urayuli, though he typically makes use of smaller cheaper creatures like Beavers and adolescent Wolves/Stags & Mantises. He also notably has a Squirrel Ball & tends to utilize Green Mox (but has been known to use the other two before)

Minthara uses a Tech/Undead deck Almost everything she has comes with a Spike Sigil. Makes good use of energy cards & stim builds, utilizing low cost Brittle cards to buy her time. She also has several dozen Bolt/Bone Hounds

Jaheira uses a Beast deck She makes use of movement based cards, particularly favoring Stags. Notably also has a collection of Mantis Gods

Minsc uses a Beast deck Boo chooses cards, Minsc plays them. Has a lot of defense based cards- like Beavers, Tortoises, and Mole Men- as well as a Grizzly that he says reminds him of Boo.

Orin uses an Undead/Beast deck All of her Beasts are for sacrificing/building up her Undead cards in a quick manner (almost always starts with her Beast cards before switching to Undead ones roughly halfway through the game) Very notably has a Ijiraq card as well as a few Amalgams.

Gortash uses a Tech deck He has a lot of trap cards to whittle down a careless opponent’s deck as well a notable amount of Sentry & Sniper cards. Also those terrible Explode Bots/Bomb Latchers. A lot of his cards are pretty delicate, but he’s not above leveling out the playing field by bombing all of it.

Ketheric uses an Undead/Beast deck Has several cards that give him resources upon death. He relies heavily on hard defenses and stacking attacks- has several Caged Alphas and a Long Elk. He has has a nasty habit of having a Spike Sigil on a lot of his cards, so getting past his defenses can be quite the task.

Bonus!

Durge uses a Beast deck Lots of Blood Cats and high blood cost cards in this deck. Notably also has a few Undead cards in the interest of not letting a resource their Beast’s make go to waste. (Has a few coyote cards that they lovingly refer to as their gnollies)

we all love when something academic about fandom has to reference the Beginning and therefore Kirk and Spock and Star Trek, but I think that euphoria is equally matched to the utter incomprehensible frustration when someone is talking about the Beginning of Fandom and they don’t know. It’s not their fault, of course! I’m the one burdened with this specific fact. I heard Ryan Bergara say he thought Jim and Pam from the office were the first “ship” and I had to pause the video. Like Mr Bergara, I respect you so much and I know I’m the weird one here, but that statement makes me feel Something so Much. Fuckin stimming isn’t enough for the discomfort and frustration I get, I need to break a chair with my teeth like a beaver set loose in ikea

Non comprehensive list of all the shit I used to do as a kid that I can't tell whether they're red flags for being neurodivergent or just normal weird kid stuff:

obsessed with eating paper, specifically the corners of book pages, to the point it was almost a compulsion (ages ~5-7)

also gnawed on my wooden bedframe like a beaver (ages 6-10)

godawful handwriting including a tendency to write a lot of letters and numbers backwards, despite high reading level (ages 4-9)

would often outright tell my best friend I wanted to play alone at lunch break and then just wander around daydreaming (ages 6-8 but similar behaviour continued til I was about 14)

had something akin to a vocal stim; a tongue-clicking sound I would do compulsively for a while despite my parents trying to break me of it, I think around age 7, but a bit later it graduated into a whistling stim for a while

**major red flag**: had a lot of Things around using the toilet I don't wanna get fully into here, actively resisted going to the toilet at home for no reason until at least 10 and refused to use public toilets until about 13-14, again for absolutely no reason

There's definitely more I can't think of rn, I was a weird af kid and I've been thinking about it from time to time over the last few months.

Also on the "coordination issues" front, as an adult I'm still slow at swimming and writing by hand, and completely incapable of using chopsticks no matter how hard I try.

If you could relive any memory of your past, what would it be?

This is pretty recent, but I would LOVE to relive going to my first punk rock concert with my childhood best friend. We saw Otoboke Beaver last year and it was one of the best nights of my life. I ran around in the moshpit and got tossed like a ragdoll! My autistic ass was stimming to the highest degree LMAOOOOO!!!

If I could relive another couple memories, it would be watching Dune (2021) and/or the Cherry Magic j-drama for the first time. Those things are very special to me 🥺

This post was moved here from my twitter! I kinda forgot about this place for a bit, but considering the whole.... Musk thing... I thought it’d be good to get back to writing things here.

I wrote this cuz I adore the autistic Leo hc and I’ve also been obsessed with rottmnt recently sooooo enjoy!

Leo was going to punch something, like... ACTUALLY punch something (or someone, who knows). Frustration built up inside him like a river trapped behind the beavers dam, and he had absolutely no clue as to why. Well, no okay, he does know, but there's no way in HELL that he'd admit to it.

The way his vocal chords strained at even the THOUGHT of speaking arose in his mind, or the way his eyes fluttered around his room, trying to find something (anything) that could take his mind off speaking. His hands rubbed furiously at his legs, trying to get out all his emotions (stimming, as Donnie calls it). He rocks back and forth in his bed, hands holding onto the weighted blanket pulled around him. His breathes are heavy with sorrow, and his chest aches like a hollow tree. 

He can't speak.

Not today.

It's been months, no, YEARS since Leo has last gone into this... state. Sure, it was completely normal for Donnie to suddenly stop talking, but LEO? Not a chance. Calling what this is by it's name only solidifies the strange isolating feeling that encompasses him.

So he doesn't call it "non-verbal," doesn't even think it.

The staring contest between him and the wall was pulled to a sudden halt, as a cold hand entered his field of vision and waved.

"Hello? Earth to Leo. Can you hear me?" a monotonous voice echos around his room, reverberating in his head, bouncing along his skull and all the way through to his eyes. Noise of any kind was a no-go it seems, so he pulls his hands up to the sides of his head and grips hard.

Donnie, taken aback by his twin's reaction, freezes for a few ticks, before backing away and sitting at the ends of Leo's bed. The slider's eyes follow him, settling on the soft-shell's hands. Donnie starts by pointing at Leo, and ends by flicking two of his fingers out into a v-like shape, drawn-on eyebrows creasing together with worry 'Are you okay?

' Leo doesn't know how to respond, every move feels like he's swimming in molasses (quick sand would be a better descriptor, for every time he tries to move and escape this stun lock, the feeling encompasses more and more of him). In the end, he leans forward, tilts his head, and raises an eyebrow, trying his best to convey the question he wants to ask. Thankfully, his brother understands immediately (twin senses) and lifts his right arm, offering up a space for the slider. Leo almost instantly falls into his twin's side.

Everything blurs, but he knows that he's safe here, next to one of his favorite people. As his consciousness fades, he can feel the weighted blanket be tucked around him and his brother, and the way the mattress hits his back as they both fall into it. Black slowly creeps along his vision when he hears Donnie give a huff under his breathe. There's a shifting beside him, and a chin placed on his head. Leo's never felt safer.

And he knows that no words are needed now, he knows that he won't be alone once he wakes in the morning, and that his brothers all care for him, exactly how he is.

(Even with his oddities, with his stupid one line quips, with the insomnia, and reckless decisions. Here in Donnie's arms, he knows that he is loved.)

Hey I'm the anon who found the bucket of old LPS toys! Found it wasn't actually all of them? But here's the ones that were there and imma tell you some fun facts about each grouping!

For the dogs, the one next to the great Dane (I think it's a chocolate lab?) is actually my brother's! The Yorkie with the stick legs was my favorite and the only one of that generation I could stand lol. The purple weiner dog had his back legs chewed off by my actual dog but when my mom went to toss it I lost my little kid mind so hard she never touched it. Also the poodle fairy was my least favorite of my fairies. It was neglected to the point that it's neck is stiff when you go to move it.

I was never really into the birds but the penguin was and still is one of my favorites!

For the cats my brother named the one licking it's paw Spotted Leaf like the warrior cats nerd he was XD my favorite was the tiny pink winking kitten by far though

For the rodents/rodents adjacent my favorites were the beaver and the brown racoon. I made them best friends even though the beaver came with a coon skin hat. Most of them from this group were my friend's. Me and my sister had matching purple lop bunnies because she was mad I got one for my birthday and purple was her color (eye roll) mine was marked with blue on her ear to tell the difference

For the bugs: I had a bee. I remember having and loving said bee. None of these matter to me I want my bee.

Lizards and frogs! My favorite was the orange lizard. I have no idea how that poor frog lost his head but he will undergo a delicate glue reconstruction surgery soon. I despise the big headed chameleon on the end. His tongue pokes out by pressing his crest 10/10 stim but his design makes me irrationally angry 0/10

Aquatics! Me and my sister would make complex trading charts just to get that seahorse. We would value our pets so that we could, in a long series of trades, end up with two pets whose combined worth could ever compare to the seahorse's clear superiority. My mom was impressed at our detailed logs of these trades as much as she was worried that we both wanted it enough to go to these lengths. Somehow she never thought to buy a second one to stop this. I think she feared we would instead try to claim ownership of both instead of sharing, and she would be right.

That little brown bear cub came in a camping set of three. I would have laid my sister to rest if she dared touch them. They were my favorite LPS set ever. A search for the missing cubs is underway.

My sister vandalised my elephant and I want to customize him because that red is not a good look. The cow had a tiny horn headband, she is one of my faves. I got the giraffe when I was in the emergency room for dislocating my floating sternum. Can't look at thing without feeling mildly uncomfortable due to getting it during one of the most painful moments of my life.

I'll send a separate ask with descriptions of my favorites that I couldn't find since this one is...massive 😅 sorry about that

Mikell

He doesn’t know that he stims but he ONLY does it verbally. Normally humming and repetition. Sometimes singing but only with Jasmine and Sam. He used to create messes because he’d accidentally reality bend, but he did grow out of it.

Jack

Where do I even begin? He stomps, flaps his hands and arms, balls his fists, runs around, play with crackly or 963, squealing, jumping, tapping his feet, the works. A lot of them look like his tics, so sometimes it’s hard to tell.

Sarah

They claw at things like the floor, or repeatedly bend their fingers in patterns, kinda like tapping the air.

Jasmine

She also mostly just has verbal stims, like squealing, but she also twirls with her hair. She doesn’t like it though.

Eleanor

She has fun stims because she can use her anomalous powers more. Her body will create spikes jutting out sometimes. Her ears will flap. He’ll wag his tail or slam it against the floor like a beaver. Reality bending little things around her. She’ll chomp too,so watch your fingers!

Kyle

He tried to avoid it, it makes him feel very unprofessional. But he stomps and flaps his arms when he’s alone.

Camila

It will flap its arms all around, kinda like she’s flying. She taps her feet a lot too.

Abigail

She taps on things, flaps her hands, jump up and down, and hugs herself! She does it the most. She’s just a happy happy person!

My other characters don’t stim.

When I was watching White Lotus season 1 with my husband, it became clear he didn't know what the word stimming meant. I explained, and then for the next week, pointed out every time either he or I were stimming.
