Thoughts on the 16th student hidden somewhere in this building? Aka Mukuro Ikusaba.

Its often said Danganronpa fans have only two jokes. This and 11037.

Unfortunately there isn't much to talk about with Mukuro. In Trigger Happy Havoc she is disguised as her sister and while there is a few signs her cosplay isn't perfect (Makoto noticing that her face doesn't look like in the magazines, Mukuro being a bit too into Makoto and liking physical activites oh and saying she lived on the streets even though models generally come from affluent backgrounds) and then she dies in a rule violation.

The only funny thing I can say about that is when I was playing this with a friend, she thought Junko was gonna be a survivor since lots of people cosplay as her, and so when she "died" my friend is now very confused and wondering why someone who dies in the opening acts is such a good cosplay material.

Of course we learn more about Mukuro in Chapter 5 and naturally she's the twin sister of Junko but we don't know more about her. Danganronpa Zero gives us a bit more about Mukuro as someone who is loyal to her sister but certainly has her own agenda.

Naturally the go to for Mukuro's characterisation is Danganronpa IF where she's the main character. This really dives into her as a complex character which loves her sister dearly but also struggles with the loyality and love of her friends, espeically Makoto. Eventually she decides to side with the students as in her eyes, she just wants Junko to be happy and since betraying her sister would make her feel despair, that would make her happy.

So if Mukuro is so good in IF, why is she so low on my tier list? Well two reasons for that. Firstly as fanastic as IF is, its technically non canon so this might not be a accurate model for who Mukuro is. And second is Danganronpa 3.

Danganronpa 3 basically ruined Mukuro and turned her into a incest minion who kills and tortures because she's hard on for her sister. I wish I was making that up, but I'm not. Another character ruined by the mistake that is Danganronpa 3.

A Student of Time hasn't had Mukuro show up yet but when she does it will be a very interesting moment since a big question for Season 3 is if she can be redeemed or not. Hajime says no, Iroha says yes. Despair to Future Arc portrays Mukuro as the lackery of Junko she is but also not a one dimensional villain either. Survivors naturally is Mukuro's best characterisation since she's completely redeemed in that and her path going forward is a big character arc for her. She has good chemstry with Makoto and her classmates, and of course she's like Kuripa's little sister. Its very interesting to see how she progresses as a character there.

But while Mukuro gets great fan reception, canon wise, she's fucked in many ways and yes you can blame Danganronpa 3 for that one. Sorry but that anime completely ruined her.

Here me out! Destiel AU where Cas is a lighthouse keeper in the middle of the ocean and Dean is a sailor.

There's a big storm that night. Cas is used to it, that's what he likes in his job. It makes him appreciate more the daily calm. He keeps taking care of the fire, even though the wind and water relentlessly slap the beacon.

On nights like that, there's no rest. But once the small, steady waves are back, he can't sleep. He knows he saw a boat last night before the storm began. He spotted some wreckage earlier.

He goes investigate outside, in case he finds something. He walks down the long stairs, to take a look on the lower plateform, nearer the sea.

There's a man. A body more probably. No one can survive a storm like that. The swell of the waves must have brought him up here. If he was alive before, the strength of the water against the wall of the beacon must have killed him on the spot.

Cas approaches the body. He looks old, his skin wrinkled by time spent in the water. He touches his shoulder. He's cold and soaked. He checks his breathing to be sure, two fingers pressing against the man's throat.

There's a pulse. He's alive. How? Adrenaline kicking in helps Cas get him inside and upstairs. He gets ride of what's left of his damped clothes before laying him down on his bed. He covers him with everything he has to warm up the survivor. He gives him water by wetting his lips carefully. He checks him to see if he's got any injuries. One at the head apparently. Maybe he'll never wake up, but he has to try. So, he cleans the wound.

He realizes that he is not that old after all. Probably around the same age as him. Maybe he'll wake up.

me trying to figure out a hsr verse for garrus involves trying very hard to link up the dots so that his story still makes coherent sense-

worked for the ipc for years within their security department

clashed over their bureaucracy and internal politics, became a galaxy ranger, gathered a team like he does in canon. they all died because of sidonis' betrayal, rip

him cutting ties with the ipc likely means there's a price on his head because they are not as forgiving as c-sec

still comes from palaven, this planet will now just have to exist in the hsr universe

meanwhile, me figuring out herta's mass effect verse just involves me going she's an eccentric billionaire who owns a research space station that orbits earth and did i mention she's insane

my manager made a joke asking how much of a raise they have to give me to convince me not to quit to return to school (hint: A Lot) and my coworker goes "well the question is, how much are you even getting paid in the first place?" and then i look at my manager like "am i allowed to answer that??" and he's giving me a spiel about how technically, it's allowed, but not recommended.. whereas my other coworker just goes "you can do whatever you want. you're already on the way out."

I don't know much about art, but I'm curious how you decide/choose your art refs? (Do I have to kidnap an angel and gift it to you as ref for Theodora?)

I choose references based off of vibe or pose I want :D. For example let’s break down Mathew’s oc profile picture:

For his pose I wanted already knew I wanted too include his weapon in some way. So using the great app of Pinterest I started to search for some basic claymore poses. When none of those rlly helped I just went through my old paintings board to look for refs.

Before I converted Mathew to the black clover verse I already visioned him in the same poses as Joan of Arc because her paintings are always super cool to look at 👍. (The vibe it gives off is cool too) soooo in the end I decided to steal the pose and lighting from an old painting. (LIGHTING HELPS GIVES YOUR PAINTINGS S CERTAIN FEEL TO IT SO USE IT)

Also I use certain poses for certain characters based off of their personality or just certain character traits. (Yeah I do use old “Angel” paintings as references for Theodora so feel free to kidnap one 🙈)
