2 ideas appeared at the same time tonight aaaaackk (yeah Geon/Hugo idea..., again)

This one inspired from the song I heard so kinda song fic..., and angst== (a bit touching Geon/Hugo divorce arc in the novel, the one I hated so much but because I curious I read throught it, well kinda happy end so my heart breaking through 20 chapter-ish is worth it) (but the song lyric is a bit fit with that situation damned it!)

The other one is I want to resume my WIP Geon/Hugo bedscene fic but well I wrote the angst one first

Oh my god thank goodness someone else with good opinions is watching Unforgotten Night. I have Strong Feelings. For example, it’s hilarious to me how hit-or-miss they are with everything. Yes, Kamol asked for consent to make sure Kim was sober (great) but didn’t do ANY kind of kink negotiation (bad)??? The aftercare scene was great but the actual practices of their bedscene were…..baffling. You’re telling me not a single twink in Bangkok could handle a little bruising and biting??? Despite all of this I am going to keep watching I think, like it’s a car wreck I can’t look away from. What do you think of the show?

I absolutely love the idea of mafia setting and BL venturing into BDSM land (but I watched 'Love and Leashes' and that was perfect on the education side and handling. Hard to top, UN already lost with the first episode against that)

The whole bed scene was a mix between 'oh interesting' and involuntarily funny. But the BDSM gear usage was not convincing... the wax was good tho... surprised they used real hot way from the candle? Looked real at least. Only if they didn't do the voiceover moans?!?! And couldn't they make the cuffs a bit tighter? I was afraid his hand would slip out. It's not like the actor would get hurt from that lol... And they really should have left the whip away as well and focused more on the dom-vibes. Without the whip it might have been more convincing. Disappointed they didn't show the bites. They teased he would be sadistic af and then let us all down.

Oh and that one scene in the beginning on the balcony with the bodyguards (?) had me a bit annoyed! Because that fourth dude was obviously not present during the filming and they talked with a stand-in. But they made zero effort to make the cut-in scenes look similar to the stand-ins position. He stood with the back to a wall but the cut-in dude had the skyline behind him and just randomly stared at the others... Even the coloring didn't match 😭 I was so confused who and where this dude is until they showed the arm at the door.

Maybe future episodes will get better. First episodes are often a bit weird. I will continue watching. I mean it's still a small thai drama, high quality is luxury for those. The idea as a whole is interesting. And maybe we are lucky with the side ships. There is still a lesbian couple and a poly throuple according to the promo stuff.

I'm still in denial but one thing I'm sure of... is that I easily get super turned on whenever I see girls having bedscenes on the TV rather than watching a woman with a man.

That whole scene was great but you know what would have been better ? Some fucking lighting because the way I had to turn up the brightness of my screen to stop squinting like an idiot ? Unreal. I want to gif it too but I'm not sure you'll be able to see anything except pixels 😭
