So richtig waren wir also noch nicht auf ein rappelvolles, richtiges großes Westend-Theater vorbeiretet, wo sie, die Vorlage verlangt es so, das spektakulärst denkbare Spektakel veranstalten. Wahrheit, Schönheit, Freiheit und Liebe wünscht sich die Boheme im berühmten Can-Can-Tempel Moulin Rouge. Schon wieder mit Elton-John-Melodien und allerlei bekannter Unterhaltungsmusik seit Jacques Offenbach. Wie sagte einer der Traviata-aus-der-Met-Besucher unlängst als Zusammenfassung: “Die Handlung ist immer die gleiche, nur die Musik ist unterschiedlich...” Es ist jetzt nicht besonders subtil geworden, aber -nun, spektakulär, spektakulär.

One of my biggest TB disappointments is that they didn't make more of Leon and Nate whilst they had the opportunity. Both boys are laying it right out there! I don't necessarily mean it in a slash way either - their friend chemistry was right there too! (Below gifs are Leon's amusesment at Nate flirting on the phone to get a result - which he does himself at a motel type place only a few episodes later and Neon in the car... just 'cos!)
