“The settlers come wearing soldiers’ clothes, which is a new strategy.”

Since the war started, there have been more and more daily attacks by settlers against the people living in Masafer Yatta [a region of rural hamlets in the south of the occupied West Bank]. We are just farmers, many of us living in caves and tents. I am 18 years old, and I have lived here all my life. We have no way to defend ourselves from the settlers, who are fully armed thanks to [National Security Minister Itamar] Ben-Gvir. They feel that now is their chance. The war is happening, and they have the green light to kill any Palestinian they see. They feel that no one is going to care about these people in Masafer Yatta. They come with the army’s protection from the settlement of Havat Ma’on, just five minutes from my village of Tuwani. They attack people’s sheep and demolish their tents and raid their homes. They attacked my family in our house: They came in and shot at my dad. Luckily he survived, but they broke his hand by hitting him with the butt of a gun. On Friday, they shot my cousin, who is still in the hospital. The settlers come wearing soldiers’ clothes, which is a new strategy; my dad only recognized them as settlers because they were the same people who attacked him last year. The settlers and the army are now controlling all the land around Tuwani. They planted an Israeli flag in the high mountains nearby, and they have blocked all the routes in and out of the area. They don’t even allow us to access our donkeys, or to give them food or water. They’re saying this is state land and it’s a war. It’s dangerous to leave the town. Some people are trying to travel through the mountains, because they need to reach hospitals, or to reach markets to get food and water. But the way through the mountains is bumpy, and they get shot at. No one can sleep at night; we are afraid that the settlers will come and burn down our homes. [x]

At the same time, incumbent mayors are pressuring the Likud to oppose another postponement. Currently, Interior Minister Moshe Arbel is not changing his position - and the elections are expected to take place on January 30.  (( The concern, many prospective council members and replacement mayors are doing army duty - so are unable to campaign. ))

▪️HOSTAGE DEAL, EGYPT SAYS… A report in the pro-Qatari Al-Arabi Al-Jadid newspaper: Senior officials in Cairo, in coordination with Qatar, informed officials in the American administration of the difficulty in reaching an agreement to release hostages between Israel and Hamas similar to the previous agreement. The reason - Hamas adheres to the condition of an immediate ceasefire and non-participation in negotiations as long as the IDF attacks continue.  Despite this, the source noted that "the American administration still believes that a new agreement similar to the previous agreement can be reached - if Egypt and Qatar put more pressure on Hamas."

▪️ISRAELI GI BILL… The Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee approved the bill "Dimensions for Studies" which stipulates full funding of a degree for released fighters - and it will be put to a final vote tomorrow. Coalition Chairman Ofir Katz: "This is such an important and just bill, they deserve it by right and not by grace. They give 100% and they deserve 100%”.

Alison Russell, a Scottish-born Belgian citizen and Human Rights Defender, was detained by the Israeli occupation authorities while documenting the demolition of a house in Masafer Yatta, in the South Hebron Hills of the occupied West Bank. She was deported after very perfunctory proceedings at the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court. Israeli police alleged in a public statement that Alison “supported a terrorist organization.” Her attorney pointed out that this claim had no basis. Nevertheless, the presiding judge issued a verdict couched in fiery nationalist rhetoric, claiming that “There are many faces to Hamas terror. There are various kinds of terrorists. Some terrorists wield guns and bombs while others use a computer keyboard”.

In the last month and a half, the charge of being a “supporter of a terrorist organization” has become an excuse for an extensive campaign of political persecution against anyone who dares to post any protest the unfolding genocide in Gaza. This has affected Palestinians who have Israeli citizenship and against Israeli Jews, such as the teacher Meir Baruchin, who was detained for almost a week on completely unfounded charges. In the Gaza Strip, a far more brutal procedure for the same allegations is implemented. A Gazan journalist or political activist accused of “supporting Hamas” may expect to be targeted and/or have their family targeted by a missile from an Israeli warplane. Such was, for example, the fate of Ahmed Abu Artema and countless other Palestinian activists and journalists. Nowadays in Israel, all it takes to be charged with “supporting terrorism” is to express sorrow and pain over the killing of children in the bombing of the Gaza Strip. State Attorney Amit Isman strongly criticized these detentions, but Israel’s police, controlled by Ben-Gvir, persist in carrying out such detentions.  In the case of human rights defender Alison Russell, the far-fetched charges of “supporting terrorism” or “keyboard terrorism” cover up the real reason for her detention and deportation. In court, the state asserted that “she had many times disrupted the activities of the IDF troops, whenever she came in contact with them”. Indeed, it is highly disturbing for the troops to have outside observers and witnesses present where acts of oppression take place, which often constitute blatant violations of International Law. 

The tiny villages at Masafer Yatta in the South Hebron Hills are attacked by settlers on one side and the army on the other: The settlers attack the villages, destroy whatever is at hand and threaten entire communities with murder, and in these criminal acts they enjoy complete immunity from the police and army. For its part, the army arrives to destroy the houses of the villagers, houses which were declared to be “illegal” by the Supreme Court. Alison was detained and deported when she tried to document the destruction of one of these houses. The police had stated “a deportation order from Israel” was issued to Alison, as well as a decree to “prevent her from entering Israel” in the future. We would like to emphasize that Alison never wanted to “enter Israel.” She wanted to come to the West Bank, a Palestinian territory occupied by Israel, by the express invitation of Palestinian residents to document and intervene in human rights abuses and stop an ongoing nakba. In the words of Alison herself, “The UN, created when the world was saying ‘nie wieder faschismus,’ has given up on Palestine. But right now, right here, in a tiny little corner of Palestine, there are a dozen villages that are under direct and immediate threat. When the handful of determined people that are here manage to organize a group to sleep in the hamlets, we delay their expulsion…I’m here ‘cos I really think our action is effective. Please make it more effective by getting involved too.”

Kılıçdaroğlu “Terör örgütleriyle masaya oturmadım, oturmayacağım” diyor. Evet doğru söylüyor, örgütlerle yan yana, el ele ve omuz omuza bir arada masaya değil, sandalyeye oturdu. Çevresinde toplanan FETÖ’cü partilere tam 40 milletvekili hediye etti. Kendi partisinde de en az 40 FETÖ’cüyü milletvekili yaptı. Görüldüğü gibi, öğütlerle masaya oturmamış.

Mart 2019 Belediye seçimlerinden önce, Kılıçdaroğlu Ahmet Türk ile Ege Denizinde bir yatta turistik seyahat yapıyordu? Bu Turistik geziden sonra, HDP büyük şehirlerde CHP adaylarını destekledi, İstanbul ve Ankara gibi büyük şehirlerde, Meral Akşener’in adamlarını seçtiler.

Bugün değil, ta Erdal İnönü döneminden beri, Ahmet Türk’ün işi Kürt siyasetini CHP’ye yama yapmaktır. 1991 seçimlerinde Ahmet Türk İnönü’yü aldı İzmir’e götürdü, Hikmet Fidan aracılığıyla, İnönü’yü Şam’daki APO ile telefonla görüştürdü, HEP’liler usluca CHP’ye katılacak ve bir daha da ayrılmayacaklardı. Böyle de oldu ama, daha sonra CHP kendilerine katılan HEP’lilerin dokunulmazlığını kaldırdı, Meclis’in kapısında bekleyen Polis, bunların ensesinde tutup götürdü Ulucanlar Hapishanesine teslim etti. Bunların bir kısmı 10 yıl kadar hapis yatarken, Ahmet Türk ilk mahkemede tahliye oldu.

Bu son başkanlık seçimlerinde, Başkent Kandil; “biz başkan adayı Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu’nu destekleme kararı aldık” diye açıklama yaptılar. Bu açıklamadan sonra, HDP; “biz karar aldık başkan adayı Kılıçdaroğlu’nu destekleyeceğiz” açıklamasını yaptı. Evet Kılıçdaroğlu bunlarla masaya değil, sandalyeye oturdu karar aldılar. Kılıçdaroğlu “HDP’nin PKK ile hiçbir alakası yoktur” diyor. Ben şahsen oy kullansaydım, ikinci turda kazansın diye oyumu Kılıçdaroğlu’na verirdim, çünkü çok güzel yalan söylüyor.

Kılçdaroğlu Erdoğan’a “FETÖ’yü sen büyütmedin mi” diye soru soruyor. Hayır doğru değil, çünkü FETÖ Erdoğan’ı büyüttü, CHP de onu başbakan yaptı. 27 Mayıs darbesi yapıldığı gece, İnönü-Gürsel cuntası, Urfa mezarlığındaki 63 günlük Said’i Kürdi’nin cenazesini çıkardı, oradan çalıp götürdüler. CHP’nin başdanışmanı Kasım Gülek’e görev verdiler, o da gitti Fetullah Gülen’i buldu, tarikatların başında görevlendirdi. Devlete bağlı bütün Tekke ve Zaviye şeyhlerini, Fetullah Hoca Efendiye bağladı. Devletin denetimi altında, görevini yaptı, ABD’ye gidene kadar. Günümüzde FETÖ demek Türkiye demek, kendisi ABD’nin elinde olmasına rağmen. Erdoğan darbeden önce “Dön gayri bitsin bu hasretlik” diye seslenirken, darbeden sonra, FETÖ’yü terörist ilan etti ve “verin onu sallandırayım” diye nara atmaya başladı. FETÖ denen adam, CHP’nin yetiştirdiği, devletin görevlisidir. Görevi; tekke ve zaviyeler aracılığıyla, Anadolu’da yaşayan insanları, Kemalist dine dönüştürmek. Kılıçdaroğlu FETÖ’cülerle can cana yan yana siyaset yapıyor.

AKP yetkilileri, başta Süleyman Soylu olmak üzere herkes, “bizim FETÖ ve PKK ile hiçbir alakamız yoktur” diyor. Daha yakın bir zamanda Süleyman Soylu’nun özel emriyle, Edirne Hapishanesindeki, Selahattin Demirtaş özel helikopterle hapishaneden Edirne Hava Alanına, oradan da özel uçakla Diyarbakır’a götürüldü, hasta babasını ziyaret etti, aynı yöntemle Edirne’deki hapishanesine geri döndü. Süleyman Soylu’nun Demirtaş’a yaptığının dünyada örneği yoktur ama, Süleyman Soylu Demirtaş ile aynı masaya oturmadı. Kılıçdaroğlu da “ben kazanırsam hapishanenin kapısını kırıp, Selo’yu serbest bırakacağım” diyor. Kılıçdaroğlu da Selo ile aynı masaya oturmadı. Kılıçdaroğlu unutmuş görünüyor ama, daha önce APO’nun avukatı Mahmut Şakar TSK helikopteriyle, APO’nun mesajını alıp Başkent Kandile götürmedi mi?

DTP Genel Başkanı Nurettin Demirtaş 17 Aralık 2007 tarihinde, askerlik yapmamak için aldığı sahte çürük raporundan dolayı tutuklandı. İlk mahkemede tahliye oldu ve askere gitti. Nurettin’in tahliye edildiyse, raporu sahte değil, askerlik yapamaz durumda. Tahliyeden sonra askere gidip iki yıl Jandarma olarak askerlik yaptığına göre, çürük raporu sahte. Burası Türkiye kimin çürük, kimin sağlam olduğuna, kimin tutuklanacağına, kimin tahliye olacağına devlet karar verir. 12 Eylül 2015 tarihli Sabah gazetesindeki bir habere göre, o çürük rapor davasında çok sayıda insan, raporu veren de alan da ceza aldı. Nurettin Demirtaş da şu anda Başkent Kandil’de PKK’yi yönetiyor.

25 Aralık 2009 tarihli Zaman gazetesinde çıkan bir habere bakalım. Güneydoğuda yıllarca Genelkurmay’ın kadrolu tercümanlığını yapan Yıldırım Beğler; Kuzey Irak’ta TSK adına ajan olarak görev yaptığı dönemi anlatıyor. “1992 yılında APO hariç hepsini yakaladık. Ne yaptılar? Aman Türkiye’ye götürmeyelim, beklesin dediler. Buna ben bizzat şahit oldum. Başlarında nöbet tutanlar arasında ben de vardım. PKK’nin bütün merkezi kadrosunu Zaho’daki Talabani’nin kararg��hı olan komite denen yere getirdik. Burada bu gece kalsınlar, yarın götürelim şeklinde yukardan emir aldık. Daha sonra bir emir daha geldi. ‘Siz çekilin, Peşmergeler onları korur, yarın erkenden götürürüz’ dediler. Fakat sabah geldiklerinde hiçbirini göremedik. Bize, ‘kaçtılar’ denildi. Bir baktık Süleymaniye’ye Zelê kampına gitmişler.”

Evet 1992 yılında DYP ve CHP ülkeyi yönetiyordu. O yıllarda PKK’nin Türkiye’de 4 adet eğitim kampı vardı. Bu ortaklar da bir gün resmi bir belgeyle APO’yu Suriye yönetiminden istemediler.

Demirel İnönü hükümeti döneminde, hükümet başladı 1952 yılında Suriye sınırına döşenmiş mayınları temizlemeye. Çok tartışmalı da olsa, sınır kısa sürede mayınlardan temizlendi. Çünkü Türkiye daha o yıllarda bu günkü Türkiye’yi görüyordu. Gidiş gelişler rahat olsun diye mayınlar temizlendi ama, bugün ağzını açan, Suriyeli mültecilerden rahatsız olduğunu söylüyor ve bunun üzerine siyaset yapıyorlar.

Ağustos 2001 yılında Erdoğan partiyi kurdu, 2002 yılında seçim oldu, AKP mecliste çoğunluğu aldı ama, Erdoğan Milletvekili olamadı. CHP Siirt seçimlerine itiraz etti ve seçimler iptal edildi. CHP Anayasayı da değiştirdi, yenilenen Siirt seçimlerinde Erdoğan Milletvekili oldu ve geldi Başbakan oldu. Bunu yapan CHP yaptıklarından zerre kadar utanç duymadan, insanlara sesleniyor gelin bunu devirelim diyor. Kılıçdaroğlu ikinci turda seçimi kazansa bile, Meclis çoğunluğu Erdoğan’da olduğu için hiçbir şeyde yapmayacak yalan söylüyor. Altı ay sonra hazırlanacak bütçeyi bir emirle meclisten geçirecek? Peki her şey bu kadar kolay, acaba bu 600 Milletvekilinin Mecliste ne işi var? Ülkeyi bu kötü duruma getiren Erdoğan’dır, onu da iktidara taşıyan CHP’dir. Mevcut kötü durumda her ikisi de aynı oranda suçlu ve sorumludur. Yeter artık insanların yalanlarınızdan çektiği!

HDP Ahmet Türk önderliğinde CHP’ye katılma hazırlıklarını yaptı, seçim sonuçları en çok da onların hayallerini yıktı. HDP Milletvekillerinin yarısından fazlası, Kemalistlerden oluşuyor. Hatta paşa torunu Cengiz Çandar bile, Kürd oylarıyla Diyarbakır’dan HDP’nin milletvekili seçildi. Bunu yapan HDP Kürtlere yapılacak en büyük hakareti yaptı, Kürtler de ağzının payını verdi. HDP bir önceki seçimde aldığı oyların %30’nu yani iki milyondan fazla oy kayıp etti. Bir de yeni nesil genç seçmenden oy alamadı. Ayrıca Kürtler hiç kimsenin, uslu söz dinler yaramaz çocuğu olmadığını da gösterdiler. Kürt Milleti kırk yıldır yaşadıkları zulmü, Devşirme Türklere demokrasi getirmek için yaşamadılar. Bu seçimde Kürtler açıkça bu mesajı verdi, eğer anlayan olursa.

Günümüzde savaşlar sadece asker ve silahla olmuyor. Dünya küçüldü, savaşta en önemli silah, ekonomik ilişkilerdir. Suriye’deki 62 müttefik ülke, Türkiye’yi aralarına almadılar. Buda gösteriyor ki, Türkiye arabanın tamponuna oturmuş yolculuk yapıyor. Bölgede yapacağı her yanlış harekette, zamanı geldiğinde, 62 müttefik devleti karşısında bulacaktır. Buna karşı çıkmak için, ordusu ve silahı yeterli olamayacak. Ekonomik sinyaller şimdiden sos veriyor. Türkiye boşuna milyonlarca irticacı örgüt militanını, mülteci sıfatıyla barındırmıyor. Seçim yasasında %7 barajı olmasına rağmen, şu anda parlamentoda 16 partinin milletvekili var. Bu da insanların ne kadar değişik talepleri ve siyasetin darmadağın olduğunu gösteriyor. Bu haliyle Türkiye sorunlarını çözecek durumda değil. Seçim propagandalarında siyasetçiler elinde soğan masaya oturdu, soğanın fiyatını tartıştı, hiç kimse ülkenin asıl sorunlarına yaklaşamadı. Çünkü mevcut siyasete devam.

1958 yılındaki gizli görüşme... İsrail ile Türkiye arasında savunma ve #istihbarat alanlarındaki işbirliğinin temeli, 1958 yılına gidiyor. O dönemde İr*n, Irak, Pakistan, İngiltere ve Türkiye arasında yapılan Bağdat Paktı nedeniyle İsrail ile olan ilişkiler gergindi. İsrail, Arap ülkelerini doğrudan kendisine tehdit olarak görürken, dönemin İsrail Başbakanı Ben Gurion ile Dışişleri Bakanı Golda Meir, Türkiye’ye gizli bir ziyarette bulundu. İki ülke liderlerinin görüşmesi öncesi Başbakan Menderes, #Genelkurmay Başkanı’nından da “olumlu görüş” almıştı. Görüşme yeri ne başkent Ankara ne de herhangi bir kara parçasında olacaktı. Görüşme, denizde; devlete ait olan Savarona yatında bile değil, sivil bir yatta gerçekleşti. Mevkidaşları Başbakan Menderes ve Dışişleri Bakanı Zorlu ile görüşen ikili, iki ülke arasındaki güçlü ilişkilerin temelini attı. Eski Genelkurmay Başkanlığı İstihbarat Başkanı Amiral Sezai Orkunt’a göre bu görüşme o kadar gizliydi ki sadece 10 kişi biliyordu. İlişki grafiği inişli çıkışlı da olsa bu anlaşmanın detayları hiçbir zaman açıklanmadı. İki ülke arasında ne kadar sorun yaşansa da istihbarat servisleri #MOSSAD ile #MİT’in yakın temasta olmasının arkasında bu anlaşmanın olduğu iddia edildi. Saturday I was at a demonstration for the village of Khalet Adaba which is to be destroyed. I went with two young women who were helping a family to prepare their ancestral cave for the time when their home would be destroyed…..and I went home to my comfortable and safe home. We are doing this to over 100O people who will lost their homes in the next months. The two enclosures which you see were used for storing clothing. But is probably older and is also being used as an excuse to drive these people out as an "archaeologic site"….where in Israel is there no archelogical sites. This is also often used by the army which confiscates Palestinian vehicles under the claim that they are working such a site. Even though most of the times the soldiers have no official document to show that this is so and probably most of them have no idea of what an archaeological site is . Over 1000 people will be thrown out of their homes and no one cares where they will go. But illegal settler ourposts are being consolidated.

 I was not in the area  this time where the grenades were thrown as we  had already been stopped at the entrance to the village and I made a very round  about route until we got to the place of the actual demonstration. It was at a village which I had visited some months ago and where, from a jeep on the hills further away, a rocket had been fired directly into a house where people were sitting. Only afterwards when I got back after a very tiring day was I told that an email had been sent out warning those who had difficulty walking not to come. I was furious. It was  very badly organized, not like last time and I will check carefully before I go again.

 On Friday I was at Sheikh Jarrah and one of the men came up to me and said a friend of his had sent me a present. Evidently the Saturday before last when the soldiers threw the gas cannisters at us and everyone ran, they suddenly saw me standing there in a cloud and ran back to get me. It was a gas mask. Probably since the second gulf war. I said thank you and explained that it would not help me as first of all it is heavy for me to carry, secondly I would have to take off my rucksack to get it out and thirdly, walking as I do with two sticks, I could hardly manage it.

Yesterday at a demonstration in Safar Yatta against the expected demolition of the village of Khalat al-Daba and the deportation of all the families from the place, for the first time, I got tear gas, it takes a few minutes that you feel your face is on fire but after one or two onions you get back to business and wipe away the tears and keep walking

As one of my friends yesterday Noah Benninga wrote

 "Unlike in other demonstrations, there was no announcement of a closed military area, no call to disperse, and no demonstration even started. An army jeep simply passed by our meeting point, a private home of one of the residents, who suffers from continuous harassment, and started shooting gas at us Just like that, without warning and for no reason, they  forced  us into the desert. Then, another miracle, they continued marching us through the hillst, occasionally firing gas grenades at us, and sometimes a stun grenade, without even talking to us, or demanding any specific action. , for example to disperse.

All in all, it seems that the soldiers quite enjoyed the whole story. Apparently it's more interesting than doing Shabbat in a hot base in the middle of nowhere. A possibility to use grenades  without any chance of getting hurt. At some point I tried to ask them, if this is the significant service they would wish for.

So what did we learn from the whole thing? that apparently it is forbidden to support the residents of Masafar Yatta, and in general, that the Jews have nothing to do in the territories, unless they are settlers"

 If Netanyahu gets in again and brings Ben  Gvir      and Smokovitz which is what I call him,  maybe it will help to expose the true face of Israel. This is sad to say but anyone who supports the settlements and can divorce themselves from what is happening to the people there……I have  no words. People are being driven from their homes with nowhere to go. Once when a solution was proposed  for a different area, it was next to a rubbish heap with noxious fumes so that one could not even stand next to the area. Never mind live there. And if this happens then the position of demonstrators as we are will be much more complicated and even say dangerous. I believe there are already a few Israeli who are under administrative detention.

 And writing about detention this is the way Israel arrests children. Don't say  you did not know.
