The Foundation’s Golden Boy, really. The current Site Director at 61, elected circa. December 2021! There's so many things he's done. He founded The Library of Records at 14 as a passion project meant for his dad… WHILE UNAWARE ABOUT THE FACT HE WAS MAKING THIS WEBSITE AND PROJECT FOR THE SCP FOUNDATION?! He created The Paedology Committee in 2018, and it became The Foundation’s 23rd Official Department in 2021!! His parents are two O5s! (Albeit, I don't think he knows that.. maybe.) He technically shouldn't exist, since he's not even Timeline Native! See, D-9341 - the ACTUAL “Walker” - should be the ONLY “Walker”, being that Walker gets terminated in December 2011, entered a 4-month amnestics aka memory-cleaning coma, and woke up ON April 15, 2012 as a Class-D Test Subject about to go through it at Site-19. One issue? Site-61 loves to Timeline Clip, and back when Walker clipped into the timeline in June 2018? Someone didn't know that was a thing and.. yeah. Was startled and smacked him over the head and caused him to go unconscious, and going unconscious WHILE clipped causes a person to get stuck in the timeline they’ve clipped into. Walker’s been a good chap about it, but still! Anyhow, history aside, Walker is so warm and really the definition of the word “fluff”. He’s motherly, he plans events, he hithers for Interns to eat lunch with him - so they can have ONE friend! ONE person to talk to! They're new, and they NEED someone to help, and Walker is more than willing to help! Walker also raises anomalous children! He founded The Paedology Committee SPECIFICALLY so he had a reason to give education and a childhood to young anomalies who deserve a childhood without trauma or wherein they aren't treated like monsters for things out of their control. At the same time? While he lets people get away with.. many things, since he ALWAYS wants to give a second chance, he can still be disappointed. He can still, under the right circumstances, agree to play with WiseBright’s antics and cause chaos on his own Site, and most importantly? He has the righteous wrath of a viking within and will NOT hesitate to use visceral threats or even extreme violence to prove a point when a group of people or his Site is being threatened. He can be found basically anywhere in Site-61 — he likes to raise the children or run The Physical Library of Records, though! — but he can be found anywhere at Site-61. Except in therapy. Walker, despite literally being the Secretary of Psychology, doesn't wanna go to therapy himself to, y’know, discuss if he has trauma from his abilities, running the Site, or just trauma in general from pre-2012?

SUMMARIES:

Benjamin Oliver Walker (SCP: Containment Breach) - Protagonist of the cult indie hit based on the SCP universe. Once a level 4 researcher, Benjamin studied a phenomena known as the Spiral Gestalt, and for his research was demoted to D-Class. Due to his connection to the Spiral, Benjamin is able to save, load, and reset in-universe, which he uses to survive a containment breach created by SCP-079, only to be either captured by the Foundation and designated an SCP himself, captured by the Chaos Insurgency and interrogated on everything he knows, killed in a nuclear blast, or terminated by Nine-Tailed Fox. Most notable trait: Perfectly willing to drink a cup of actual acid but refuses to swallow someone else's spit when asked.

Andy the Apple (Andy's Apple Farm) - Andy is a simple apple and owner of a farm. One day, Andy loses his keys, and goes on a quest to recover them. After talking to his friends, Andy starts to get visions depicting a gruesome murder. Throughout the game the player is able to piece together that a man by the name of Thomas Eastwood was forced to kill his best friend, Arthur King, only to later succumb to the same entity that forced his hand. Thomas' spirit was trapped in a game he was developing, titled "Andy's Apple Farm." Basically, Thomas is spiritually linked to/possesses Andy, however Andy is completely oblivious of this fact. Most notable trait: I would presume the fact that he is an apple

He's friends with a good bunch of his AU's SCPs and at times treat them like his children/siblings. He's very aware of other Universes, and Is Very Fine With It.

OBSCURE HORROR GAME PROTAGONIST BRACKET

Welcome to the Obscure Horror Game Protagonist Bracket, where the "obscure" in the name is modifying the word "protagonist" and not the word "game".

We believe we have, after a decent amount of deliberation, come up with a wide range of characters, ranging from "Just Normal Guys" to "Insane Torture Murderers" to "an apple", some from games that are fairly obscure themselves and some from games that are actually pretty well known, but we believe all these somewhat arbitrarily chosen characters have one thing in common: If you referred to them by name while talking to any given random person, we've determined there's at least a 60-70% chance they won't know who you're talking about. And they're horror game protagonists. More or less. They all have two things in common. Kind of.

Due to the nature of the premise, it is likely that there will be some situations where you may not have any idea who these people are. To compensate for this, descriptions of the characters including any notable traits will be included with each poll. There's no shame in deciding which one you like better on the spot if it comes down to that.

Additionally, we would like you to please be wary that due to the nature of this being about horror game characters, sensitive subject matter will be mentioned in the descriptions of many of the characters, as it's often unavoidable. Similarly, there will be spoilers for the storylines of the games brought up here, if that matters to you.
