Review & Wrap-Up:

Sisters and Brothers is written in third person but from multiple view points: Bill's, as well as his four children, Sarah, Emma, Adam and Michelle. It's an beautiful story of lies and secrets that eventually right themselves and create this huge family. 

 I found Sisters and Brothers to be a lovely story with so much heart and love. A few things were a little far fetched for me: What are the odds that three of four of Bill’s children would begin looking for him at the same time? How on Earth did Bill hold it together and bring these new adult-children into his life as easily as he did, with no resentment toward their mothers?

The only reaction that I felt was real enough to be genuine about these strangers was Sarah’s; how difficult if must have been for her to grow up believing that she is an only child, only to find out that she is actually the youngest four?! I do not blame her for having a difficult time letting go of her responsibilities of her father, and sharing them with these strangers.

Overall, Sister and Brothers was a heart-felt family drama, with lots of secrets, but even more love. Not my typical read, but I would highly recommend it to my mother and to anyone else who enjoys a book that tugs at the heart strings!
